Before leaving for Alpha Prime once more Conri purchased a new upgrade for the simulator that would allow him a far more interactive environment than what he had been given before now. First thing he would do was crank the gravity to twenty-five times the normal amount of gravity, Now it was time to test out this new machine that was supposed to create a grand adventure for him. He would let it randomly generate something for him, and just roll with the story, while he adjusted to the increase in gravity. Before long the walls started to fade from a metal surface into that of grass and trees, the trees starting to thin like where the edge of a plain would begin. He was looking around at the surreal environment that had just popped up around him, it was amazing to see the world come to life and expand beyond just a simple perimeter.
Stepping out into the open plain he looked around at the wide expanse of world that was before him, even feeling the wind blow by him. It felt good to see such an amazing world created that he could fully explore, and that was just what he planned to do as well. As he stepped out from the coverage of the trees, however, he was greeted with a sudden battle cry coming from above his head. Glancing up, the main thing that Conri saw coming towards him was the glowing edge of a battle ax, warping the air around it showing off the intense heat. Something that immediately triggered warning bells and caused the Half-Saiyan to dodge to the side to avoid being burned and then split in half.
“Um, is there a reason you're trying to cleave me in half?” he asked, getting a better look at his assailant now. First thing to notice was that they were female, and the second is that they were apparently part lizard. Given the scales, tail, and wings that were adorned on her body. She was wearing light armor, but wielding a battle ax, strange combination of weapon and armor for someone to pick. Wait, scratch that, the weapon was a really big double bladed ax which just made the whole thing much worse as well. The worst part was that the woman wasn't in the mood for talking either, given that the answer to his question was another swing of that ax at his face. This time he couldn't completely dodge it and the attack had both cut and cauterized his his cheek in one sweep of the blade.
“You entered my territory! Not just anyone comes her knowing that this is my home! You think I will allow you to take me back to slavery?!” the woman seemed to be a bit of a nut job as well. It seemed that violence was her first language so Conri was going to have to speak it if he wanted a chance at talking her down from trying to kill him. Unsheathing Fragarach when the ax came at him another time he was prepared, locking the sword into the spot just under the ax head itself. Then he would follow it up with a kick to her stomach to throw her back while pulling on his own sword in an attempt to disarm her. It worked as well, but seemed to cause the woman to use a far more dangerous attack as the woman opened her mouth to release a jet of superheated flames.
Though he managed to dodge most of it, his tail had not been quite so lucky as he soon found out when the smell of burning fur hit his nose. Immediately he cut his tail off to keep the rest of him from catching on fire, and used dirt to put out the flames. Not that it meant much since he already cut off his tail, but damn if he wasn't pissed about what just happened. Without hesitation he called down lightning onto the dragoness, giving no indication that he would be using the attack. She let out a startled yelp as she was tossed away from the force of the bolt of lightning, before launching himself towards her to slam Fragarach next to her head. A small snarl of anger coming from the Half-Saiyan as he stared down at her, who stared back at him with her own anger.
“Look you halfwit, I didn't come here to do anything to you, so back off!” he just about shouted at the woman, although she seemed to not be in the mood for talking as she snapped at his face with her teeth. Before Conri could retaliate, however, he felt the woman's tail wrap around his leg and fling him off with a surprising amount of strength. Using his hands to catch himself he flipped over to land safely, turning just in time to see the dragon woman rushing to dive bomb him. He tried to move out of the way, but was still clipped by the crazy person that attacked him for no reason. The fact that she wasn't talking anymore meant that she wasn't going to be listening to reason. He wouldn't enjoy it, but he was going to have to knock some sense into her and take her out of the fight. The fact that she was keeping to the air now was annoying, however, and he needed to figure out a way to take her down.
“If I had a bow then maybe I could shoot out her wings...” he spoke out loud to himself, not realizing that Fragarach was listening as well. The sword was a part of Conri himself and as such it was also alive to an extent, in that it could hear its masters wishes and enact them. Immediately it began to change its shape so that it could take on the form of a bow, using Conri's own mental images of what it would look like. It was nothing fancy, however, just a simple longbow that Conri would be able to use with ease. The Half-Saiyan was almost a little dumbfounded when he saw just what his sword had become, but instead of letting it confuse him he smirked his approval and set about to using it right away. Pulling back on the bow, he was surprised to see that an arrow made from Ki formed in place, ready to be fired at whatever he targeted. This would make fighting against flying enemies a bit easier, but he wondered how well it would do in on the move combat.
Well, there was no time like the present to test it out, taking aim on his opponent he knew to lead a bit ahead of her to make sure he could hit his mark. Loosing the arrow of Ki it flew straight towards the woman's wings to take her out of the air. If he could make this a land battle then he would have an easier time of dealing with her attacks, since they would be on an equal field. Unfortunately, his ideas ended up short as the arrow flew in front of the woman alerting her to his plans, and causing her to adjust her flying as she came towards him for another dive bomb, seemed to be drawing in breath as well.
Crap crap crap crap crap, need something that allows faster shooting right now. Something like a pistol or two of them for some really fast firing at the person that's trying to charbroil my face.
His thoughts caused Fragarach to react once more, quickly shifting into a different weapon and even splitting off into two of them for Conri to use. The Half-Saiyan blinked once more and didn't waste time thinking about it, instead choosing to unload as many rounds at the dragon woman's wings as possible. Granted, instead of there being normal bullets they were made of Conri's Ki as well, which offered him the ability to shoot more without worrying about reloading the pistols. Though with being split it seemed that the power behind the energy bullets had been lessened, with the hail of shots being fired the cumulative effect managed to clip one of the woman's wings and caused her to crash a bit off to the side of him. Putting the pistols together, they re-merged into the sword form of Fragarach, the tip of the bastard sword being held out towards the woman as she hopped up to her feet almost instantly even after the fall she took.
It seemed like everything that Conri did only seemed to infuriate her more and more, he was almost starting to give up on the chance of having a conversation with this crazy woman. The bad part was that he was starting to feel a bit of fatigue from having fired off so many shots at her, it was probably not smart to just aimlessly pull the trigger without thinking things through about what he was doing. She saw this as an opportunity to jump at the Half-Saiyan pinning his arms to the ground with her tail in an attempt to keep him from fighting back before she started to punch him repeatedly in the face. Each hit packing quite a bit of power considering where his power sat even with the weighted clothes, when Marisa made a challenging simulation she really went all out with everything. Then came the headbutt which backfired on the woman as well which caused them both to start seeing stars for a few seconds.
“Don't you know that nobody wins with a headbutt?!” he spoke, though it came out a bit slurred, thanks to the repeated hits to his face causing some swelling. Before she could resume punching him though, he mustered up enough telekinetic force to push her off of him rather forcefully. Holding his head for a few seconds he tried to steady his thoughts and his vision, the headbutt screwing with both. It had been like getting hit by a sack of bricks swung by someone with massive strength, not a pleasant thing by any means. What he only noticed when a cold breeze blew passed his body was that he had burns along his arms now, something that he was rather confused as to how they got there. Shaking the pain off he looked at the dragoness who had managed to get her ax once more and was charging for him rather quickly. The great thing about the ax was that it was all metal, which meant that it made for a great conductor of electricity and a bad case of pain.
Lifting his hand into the air electricity gathered above their heads, and with a swift motion he brought it down on the head of the ax. The sudden high voltage jolt would hopefully knock her down and knock the fight out of her in a single shot, he was trying to prevent from hurting her as much as possible, but this was becoming a pain in his ass. Watching her for a few seconds, he waited to see if she would get back up and try to attack him again, keeping Fragarach in hand to protect himself from that blasted ax of hers. Though there was a strange thing that happened next when the woman turned to look at him and that was the fact that she was crying...well crying and scowling. It was a very awkward moment for Conri given that she had been the one to start the fight, but now was crying.
“If you're going to take me back then just do it already, don't just stand there gawking like some idiot!” the woman yelled. Once more with the assumptions that he was here to do something to her and not just passing through the area. Still the fact that she broke down just after getting the knocked around a bit was a bit disconcerting, but it was still one of those things that got to him. Reaching his hand out to her, he kept a bit of a scowl on his own lips just to make sure it was known that he was still annoyed by the woman, but wasn't trying to do anything to her. Although, she seemed to refuse his hand, which just led him to using his telekinesis to lift her up and set her upright once more. This was met with a shocked expression with how he was lifting her without even touching her, apparently something she hadn't come across before this day.
“Look, I don't know who you think I am or what I'm supposed to do to you, but neither are true. I was simply walking through the path that I came across when you attacked me. I just arrived here alright? I don't even know where I am, so I would appreciate not being attacked randomly,” was that such a heavy request? The answer was yes in this world, because not five seconds after he asked the question did an arrow go shooting passed his nose, cutting into the bridge a bit. That stung like a bitch too! Who the hell was going around shooting arrows at people like that? That was just fucking rude, and he was going to kick the ass of whoever was responsible for that. What he did see when he turned was a rather large group of forces riding towards the two on horseback, which was generally not a good thing. Standing in place for a few moments, he scanned the group that was headed towards them for the archer that had shot at him. Finding him, he had a plan to get him without trying to fight an entire army all at once, since that would be pretty much tantamount to suicide.
“I'm going to take a guess and say these are the people that you want to avoid? I don't know why, they seem like such a friendly group of people,” his words laced heavily with sarcasm as he spots the person that he was searching for in the small army. The dragoness not wanting to stick around tried to fly away, but forgetting that her wings had been full of holes thanks to Conri and his pistols, which led to the following scene of the Half-Saiyan flinging the Dragoness over his shoulder and running back into the swamp with her hitting his back. Although he was going to the more watery area where the ground was the more dangerous thing to walk on, Conri used the trees to move around instead, making sure to keep as hidden as possible.
As the soldiers followed them in, the Half-Saiyan stalked them from the trees waiting for the perfect angle to strike the archer that struck him. Crawling along the branches, he made sure to keep out of sight and to make as little noise as possible while he hunted his prey. When he was sure that there wouldn't be a better time to take his shot, he launched himself from the trees to drop kick the man from his horse before shifting Fragarach into a bo staff and smacking the archer in the head to knock him out. It was probably a bit more painful seeming than most would expect, but Conri really disliked the man for damn near shooting his nose off. Before the others could come after him though, he jumped back into the trees to hide, the dragon woman having watched him take the one man out with a rather efficient strike.
However, she also seemed a bit anxious as she kept looking around in the trees and through the swamp land as if trying to find something. Which Conri really didn't like, it was starting to make him worry about what might be in the swamp, he was going to have to have a talk with Marisa about not throwing constant enemies at him. There was a limit to how much he could fight at one time, especially with his heavy weights restricting his power level. He looked to the dragoness and snapped his fingers a bit to get her attention, so that he could ask her just what she was looking for in the swamp.
“You don't know? The swamp is the habitat of the Black Dragon, it is a fearsome and vile creature, it is not one you want to meet. Although once you do it is likely too late as it is, they enjoy ambushing their prey,” she explained. Probably the first time she was so calm with talking to him, which was probably a bad sign of things to come. So, Conri wouldn't be taking his chance as he picked her up and tossed her over his shoulder again as he began to make his way out of the swamp.
“Nope nope nope, not sticking around for anymore of these shenanigans. You got a place I can drop you off at? Also, do you have a name or should I call you dragon butt?” the response to that question was met with a tail flick to his forehead. This woman was extremely touchy about jokes and everything else it seemed. It was still better than getting an ax swung at his face at least, which he was still none too happy about, but situations caused him to drop the issue altogether.
“My name is Rheia, as for a place to drop me off, there is a rebel base nearby that you can take me to, it is about a days walk from here,” when she said that, he looked back at her for a moment before heading towards the edge of the swamp. It was better to get out of here as quickly as possible before anything else showed up to attack them and cause an even bigger headache. Plus there was no way that he was going to take a day to get anywhere, he had a much better means of getting around. As they reached the edge of the swamp, they could hear the screams of the soldiers that had followed them, and Conri could only assume that they had encountered the dragon. He glanced over his shoulder, tempted to go back and help them, simply because he didn't feel anyone deserved that kind of gruesome end. Well, almost no one deserved it anyways. His mind was pulling him in two direction, if he wanted to fulfill his desires, then he needed to start with this situation. Even if they had been enemies, to just let them die without trying to help them would make him no better than they were, but on the other hand, the lack of information about what he was fighting would likely get him killed.
Sometimes he hated having a conscience, dropping the woman off at the edge of the swamp he turned and ran full speed back into the creature's environment. Sticking to the trees to avoid any deep parts of water that might slow him down or try to drag him under. When he arrived at the scene he almost threw up on the spot from what he had seen, there were a few soldiers that had already been killed by the dragon, but what was disgusting about it was that they had been melted by something that was not fire which left a lot of horrible images in his mind now. He was going to have to hurt the dragon that was responsible for that, because those were things he didn't need to see today or at all.
There were more screams from nearby and without thinking about it, Conri was jumping towards the source with a powerful burst of speed. He was far more motivated to stop this thing now than he had been a few moments ago, and when he reached the area he saw that the Black Dragon had cornered the remainder of the soldiers against a cliff side. It reared its head back to attack and when it did, Conri lobbed A few Ki blasts into its face to throw the attack off target. That was when he saw the kind of attack it had, a stream of acid that burned through whatever was in its way and pretty fast for that matter. Jumping down onto the back of the creature and using his spider silk ability to create restraints for his new friend and trying to keep it distracted and focused on him instead of the soldier that were about the area.
“You guys can run any time now!” he shouted, while the dragon started to buck trying to throw the half-saiyan from its back. The soldiers looked up at him with shock that someone would try to fight with a black dragon to protect them from it. They were also smart enough to realize that too much thinking on it would be bad and immediately took off running back towards the plains. Now came the hard part, which was Conri himself trying to escape without this thing trying to turn him into a pile of goo like the other soldiers. Of course, plans didn't always go as planned as he suddenly felt the ropes slack far more than they should have, this damn dragon had been bucking as a distraction to keep his mind away from the fact that it was chewing the ropes. How the hell did this thing figure out where the spider silk ropes were!? That was when the dragon turned its head and actually smiled at him, like it knew just what he was thinking, it was a full on person level intelligence being. Possibly smarter since it managed to trick him into thinking that it was just a beast that didn't like being tied up and rode.
He had to think of something to do otherwise he was going to wind up with there being nothing left of him. The only issue was the only thing he could think of would be trying to fight the thing, but he wasn't in the mood to deal with that acid attack it used. If he had his tail still there would be something that he could do to wipe that smug grin from the dragon's face. Unfortunately, he had gotten a little too caught up in the simulation and cut it off without realizing that there hadn't been a reason to do that just yet. The only thing that he could think of would be to get an attack to try and take it down in one blow, for that he was going to need a bigger weapon as well. Fragarach took shape into that of a weapon that would send fear into most normal beings at the sight, more so for what it tended to represent rather than the weapon itself. A large, black scythe that reached about seven feet in length with the blade being sharpened to an incredible degree. This was a weapon that should be feared, especially with what he could do to add to the danger the edge represented.
As he took a swing with the large weapon, the black dragon almost instantly shot up into the air using the trees to swat Conri off its back before diving into a deeper section of swamp. Leaving the half-saiyan hanging to a tree branch and wondering what the hell had just happened in the last few seconds. Was it gone then? He kind of hoped it was gone and wouldn't come back to bother him, but that was probably being a bit too hopeful. The next best thing was him outrunning it to get out of the swamp and get on with this little adventure he was supposed to be on in this training session. The best way to travel was to stick to the trees and with that thought he leapt across to the next tree branch using his momentum to swing from tree to tree.
When he landed he noticed a distinct lack of people where he had left them and let out an annoyed sigh, before shrugging the whole situation off. He could continue on his own way and just not have to worry about things anymore, if they managed to get away then it was out of his hands. With that all sorted he turned to start walking in a random direction, making sure to keep an eye on his surroundings this time so he didn't get ambushed again. This whole thing started on a really sour note and just spiraled into a worse little event. It took him a few hours to cross the plains to the forest, which changed the feeling of the world he was in quite a bit, given all the trees and how thick the forest was and the way the branches hung it had one of those creepy vibes to it. The scraggly arm-like branches also made traversing the forest a bit more difficult whenever it snagged on a part of his clothes.
Taking a break he found a nice little alcove that provided a good amount of cover on all sides, and seemed to offer him a decent view without exposing himself to any possible threats. Stifling a yawn, he settled in to the little alcove and closed his eyes to rest for a few minutes and regain some strength from all the energy he expended earlier. The noises of the forest were surprisingly comforting, his sleep was nice and quiet allowing him to get in a decent sleep, the first in a long time since he had first originally left Alpha Prime the first time. His chest slowly rising and falling with the rhythm of the wind blowing through the forest, and the shaking of the leaves in the trees. It was so peaceful in comparison to the areas he usually found himself in, what with lots of noise and things tending to blow up around him. Video games could be dangerous things.
A few hours later, he opened his eyes to see a pair of teeth in front of his face, and behind that was a rather large wolf. One so big that it was as tall as he was when standing up straight, which was a little worrisome given the fact that its teeth were almost the length of his arms. The fact that it hadn't eaten him already was apparently an incredible act of luck, or a really great moment of timing. If it was the latter, then he really hoped that it wasn't just to watch his demise as he was devoured by this monstrosity of a wolf. Then the thing lunged at him with a wide bite, and without even thinking about it, Conri transformed Fragarach into a bo staff once more and shoved it between the two sets of jaws before they could clamp down. The beast was surprised when its jaw couldn't close around its prey, and instead found itself being pushed back through sheer physical strength.
“Sorry pooch, but you found me after I took a nap. I'm back at one hundred percent, if you want to eat me you're going to need to work for it,” he smirked. His comment was met with a growl as the wolf opened its jaw a bit wider to let the bo staff drop, and Conri dropped along with it to dive under the large body of his hunter. He didn't want to drag this fight out for too long either, so with that in mind he gathered life force into his fists and struck the underside as hard as he could. The beast was lifted a few feet into the air with a yelp, giving the half-saiyan time to grab his weapon and start ascending the trees in an attempt to escape the thing looking to eat him. He was starting to dislike being on the menu in this place, first a dragon and now a giant freaking wolf. It especially got bad when he decided to look down to see that the wolf was chasing him as he moved through the trees, jumping up to try and catch him with those massive teeth. He had to give it one thing, it was a persistent bastard, that was for sure. He just wished that it wasn't him that it was wanting to eat, but that did give him an idea which might get him out of this mess.
He just would have to take things up a notch and make it so that the wolf couldn't follow him so closely, reaching down his aura spiked a bit before his speed rose about twenty percent higher. It wasn't massive enough to pull completely away, but it would keep him out of the grasp of those teeth while he searched the forest. If it was hungry then he just needed to find another source of food for it to go after and then he could get away. Finding a family of deer out in a nearby field, he looked back towards the wolf following him and figured one of them wouldn't be enough for that thing's stomach. He was probably going to regret having to do this, but it was necessary for his own survival and training that he try to extend it out as much as possible. It was weird feeling all these things about simulations, but at the same time maybe it was a reminder that he wasn't an asshole, that he needed to keep himself in check.
He couldn't just lose himself to the way others wanted him to act or expected him to act, this whole time he had been leaning slowly towards acting like a Saiyan, but he needed to keep his human side just as strong. Even if it meant risking losing the thing he was trying to get now, but he couldn't betray who he was, if he was serious about his goals then he needed to be prepared for that. Switching Fragarach to a pistol once more, he took two shots at the bigger members of the group, hitting them in a spot that would make it so that they didn't suffer. When the wolf took a whiff of the air he could smell the blood and changed course for the meal that was currently bleeding out. When that was done, the Half-Saiyan leaned against the trunk of the tree to relax a bit from that little fiasco, wondering what the point of his wandering currently even was right now. Exploring the world didn't offer him anything real right now, he supposed that he should see what the towns or cities were like to get an idea of why this simulation was all put together in this fashion.
Maybe it was just time for him to meet with the locals and see what all he could gather from them in terms of what was going on. Looking down to the ground, the large wolf had just finished with the deer and turned to him again almost instantly with that same aggression from earlier. Great, that meant that it wasn't hunger driving the beast after him, but something else entirely. So it likely wasn't going to stop coming after him until he dealt with it and that was not something that he was looking forward to at all. Still, if he wanted to go anywhere without having to be running from the big bad wolf, then he was going to have to beat it up. That was also the strangest thought that he ever had to date, and he had had some weird thoughts before today.
Jumping down to the ground he was already charging his life force into his fists to deal some heavy damage to this thing as it came charging at him. Conri wasn't about to take it easy on this thing either, it was showing that it was a vicious creature and he was sure it had the power to back that viciousness up. However, he doubted it could do what he could and power up to an even stronger level so when it tried to bite down on him, it would find its jaws unable to close. Not with Conri's hands holding a tooth on the top and bottom of its mouth and holding them as far apart as his own arms could reach. With that same strength he would lift the wolf up and throw it into a couple of the large clustered trees and hope that it would give up with that. That was more wishful thinking on his part, given that the wolf as already getting up and coming back for another round with him. Instead of avoiding the charge Conri went to match it, running head on to the beast, his fist pulled back ready to strike out as they got close to each other. At the last second he dropped low and unleashed an uppercut on the creature that sent it soaring into the air with the power behind it. His hand wasn't unscathed though as the fur of the thing was like hitting matted steel wire, it was pretty rough and tore a bit of his skin up.
Watching it a bit more, he noticed that it was taking a bit to get back up, hopefully that last punch had managed to drive home the message that he wasn't to be messed with. Walking towards it, he tried to make sure that he hadn't gone too far and caused lasting damage to the point it couldn't survive anymore. When he reached it, it was still breathing and everything looked normal, so it seemed that it could still live and wouldn't have too much hindering it. Leaning close he examined its jaw just to make sure that it wasn't too busted up if the damage to his hand was any indication of the force he used on it. It seemed alright from what he could tell, so with that Conri headed off away from the wolf before it woke up again. This time he managed to find something of a road through the forest and decided to follow it where it would take him. It was better than trying to risk himself dealing with more monsters in the wilderness, at least this way he would have a type of monster he was more used to dealing with if it came down to that.
After a few miles of walking he neared what appeared to be a castle, one of the really old medieval style ones with the moat included. Stopping for a moment to look it over, it was strange to see it in such good condition as well, it seemed that whoever owned it took pride in it. The weird part was the modern modifications that were done to it, anti-air turrets along with soldiers armed with assault rifles. Not something you often saw back in the medieval times, given that they enjoyed using melee weapons and bows more than anything. Rubbing his chin somewhat, he couldn't see this ending well if he decided to enter the castle, but there wasn't a whole lot more that he could do.
Walking up to the castle, it seemed that there were some people dressed in modern military styles clothing, but others were wearing the more traditional medieval armor. Everyone inside the castle walls was a human as well or from what he could tell was human anyways. It wasn't until he entered into the castle that things fell apart for him, with guards instantly surrounding him with their guns trained on his head. Raising his hands, he was sure that he could avoid the bullets, but maybe it was better to just see what they wanted from the people. He was a stranger in their home, so for the time being he would play along with their game.
Being brought to their leader he was surprised to see that the man was almost as large as Ninjin was in terms of his build. Although he was a bit shorter so it made it a bit amusing for Conri to have to look down to see the man's face. He had a beard and mustache, both were on the scraggly side and that made him look less professional in the long run. However, it was easy to tell that this man had power despite how much he seemed intent on hiding it from the Half-Saiyan.
“So, I hear from my boys that you helped that thing escape their custody. Not only that, but you cost me one of my best marksmen by knocking him off his horse in the swamp and stirring the dragon. So give me one good reason not to kill you for being a traitor to your people,” he seemed to command from Conri. Which was usually a bad idea with him, especially after the comment regarding the crazy dragon woman as a thing, that left an immediate distaste in his mouth. Keeping his expression neutral he simply stared at the man for a few minutes trying to think of a way to answer him.
“Well for one thing, I'm not a traitor to my people, see my people aren't narrow minded idiots with a short perspective on the world,” the words followed up with a smug smirk. He already didn't like this guy and he doubted there would be anything that would change that, so it was best to just make him angry enough to see what kind of person he was dealing with here. What he wasn't expecting was the massive power up from the short man followed by the hits to the temples, which made the world around him go black. Before he fully went unconscious he could hear the leader speaking to his guards.
“Take him to the dungeon, we'll see if we can get this rebel scum to talk, if not then we'll have an execution soon,” and with that, Conri fell unconscious while he was dragged to the lowest part of the castle and chained to the wall. With him being unconscious, Marisa figured there was not point to continuing the training for the time being so she shut it and the gravity off to let him rest. When he woke up, the real fun would start from that point on.

(Techs:
Fragarach - Melee Shift:
With a thought Fragarach has the ability to change itself into any melee weapon that might suit the situation at hand. Whether it be different swords, axes, hammers, staffs, or any other close range weapon. It will still take Conri training to become proficient with each one, but it allows him some versatility in combat. He can also create two weapons from it, but these will be weaker than if he had formed a different single weapon.
Fragarach - Range shift:
Similar to the melee shift, but this one turns Fragarach into any ranged weapon Bows, Pistols, Assault rifles, or anything that he can think of the sword can change into it. Like with the melee version, he can split it into two weapons, but it will weaken the power lower than a single weapon. Unlike normal weapons, the range weapons from Fragarach use Conri's Ki as their ammunition, allowing him to fire more freely than he would otherwise. Though he still needs to be careful otherwise he will find himself low on Ki.)
