Part II
With Advanced Ki Sensing now under her belt Akassa smirks as Resolute reactivates the lighting in the chamber. Blinking several times at the sudden blinding light the Princess’ eyes even water a little. Having been enveloped in darkness for a decent amount of time her eyes had attempted to adjust, the sudden bath of white scrambling her vision for a moment. Rubbing her eye some, Akassa grumble under her breath, her simulators AI being quite an annoyance at times.
”You could have slowly reactivated them with some sort of dimming effect….”
“That is true, but I figured you were going to grow impatient with me if you had to wait too long to move onto the next part of the session. You can have quite the temper Princess.”
Snorting some Akassa rubs at her eyes a moment longer, silently knowing the AI was right. Most of the time she kept it in check, but on a day like today, so soon after the attack on New Vegeta she had every reason to be a bit short tempered. It had only been hours since the War Council meeting and already plans were in motion for the counter attack. All the Princess wanted to do was beat the life out of members of the Universal Church of One, but she had no targets. Instead she had decided to do the next best thing, train. With a simulator she could fight as many foes as she wanted and kill them all of she so choose with no real consequences. Taking the life of one that opposed her or her family was nothing new to the half-saiyan, she had killed countless enemies in the field and knew there were going to be more in the future. She never killed senselessly of course, only when it was her duty or when she was in danger. Aer Nin should have been another one she had taken care of…but she had fallen short.
The thought of the woman, picturing her clearing in her head, was an image that instantly caused her blood pressure to rise. Akassa could still see the smirk on the elf’s face as she held her aloft, burning away her left arm. Looking to the artificial arm that had replaced it she couldn’t help but scowl. Never before had she suffered such a grievous injury during battle, never before had she been so humiliated. Metallic arm or not she would make sure the Church paid for what it had done to her and her home. Many claimed vengeance achieved nothing in the long run, but she saw it differently. She knew she was going to feel much better when members of the church were lying at her feet. Akassa Hattori planned to have her revenge. Having picked up on her emotion, the way she looked at her arm,
Resolute spoke up.
“Done reminiscing Princess? No matter how long you look at that artificial limb it will not change back to one made of tissue and bone.”
The comment drew a glare from the Princess, her eyes looking over to the counsel on the far wall, Resolute’s “face.” ”Do not mock me.”
“I did not mean to offend Princess, merely stating a fact. If you are ready I think we should began, I have prepared the perfect opponent for you.”
With a silent nod Akassa signals that she is ready to begin, only having one comment for her “creative” AI. ”Increase gravity to x30 that of normal.”
“I advise against that Princess, you have already increased it x5 from your last session it isn’t wise….”
”I wasn’t asking your advice. Raise the gravity and give me this challenge, I am ready for it.”
“Of course Princess.”
Realizing it was an order and not a request Resolute increases the gravity, Akassa staggering a step as it rises. Catching herself she smirks as she stands back up straight. She was the eldest Hattori child and strongest being on New Vegeta save her own father. Come to think of it, not even he was stronger than her at the moment, that poison he had taken in making him weak. Thinking about it only frustrated her more…how had he been so foolish to trust that woman? Akassa never doubted her father, but the fact he had allowed such a powerful enemy so close was inexcusable. He was supposed to be the flawless King of all their people yet he had been taken down without a single punch being thrown. Pausing she pushes the thoughts aside, not wanting to direct her anger at Tsuyo. Seeing a figure taking shape on the corners of her vision Akassa looks up, blood pressure raising more as she sees the fighter before her.
Before her stood a blonde woman, pointed ears poking out from her gold locks. Green eyes looked back at her, hands folded neatly in front of her waist that was covered in long robes that hung down her body. Fists clenching, teeth grinding together Akassa almost lunged right then and there. No matter who else she fought in her life the Princess was never going to forget the appearance of Aer Nin. The simulated version of her was aggravatingly perfect, even that cocky smirk the woman had often sported was recreated accurately. For several seconds, which seemed like minutes, the two sat at each other. Akassa knew that it was not the real Aer Nin, she was dead, but still she was not able to restrain the hatred she felt. The elf had burned at her own hands in the end, but the Princess planned to make the sure the rest of her loved Church did not escape the Royal families wrath.
Able to sense power levels now she couldn’t help but smirk at the level the replica sported, the same 130,000 that she had when fighting her before. Muscles twitching, feet pushing off the tiles floor Akassa launches herself at the woman. Extending her leap with a slight injection of her bukujutsu the half-saiyan slams into the woman, knocking her right off her feet. It was far from a decisive blow of course as Aer Nin rolls backwards with the hit and hops right back to her feet. Having already channeled Ki to her hand it glowed white hot just like it had when she had taken Akassa’s arm.
Growling in defiance the Princess does not back down her left gauntlet covered hand rising to meet the elves. The two females hands lock together, separate techniques protecting them as their other hands come up to lock as well. Not afraid to step into a test of strength Akassa shoves against her opponent, yet she wasn’t going to wait for the cowardly woman to attempt some sort of cheap tactic.
Instead the Princess acts first, shifting as she drives her knee up hard into the elf’s stomach. Hearing the woman grunt out Akassa grins. Having almost died against the invader the experience had only made her stronger, outclassing the elf by far at this point. After driving her knee into the woman’s gut the half-saiyan maintains her grip on Aer’s hands. Twisting she uses her greater strength to throw the girl, tossing her across the chamber like a rag doll. Chuckling some as her foe hits the ground and bounces Akassa stalks towards her. Confident in her abilities now more than ever the Princess did not worry about what her enemy might due.
The simulated version of Aer Nin didn’t stay down long, the toss not having really been aimed to damage her. Raising to a knee the wench throws several blasts towards Akassa, the Princess still wearing a wide smirk across her face. At her full power minus the effect of her weights she blocks them with relative ease, only having to pour a small amount of Ki into her hands to deflect them. Chuckling as the blasts hit the floor and sides of the chamber instead of her body she felt how much stronger she was already. This power was enough to handle Aer Nin with relative ease and it was safe to assume the other Cardinals were of similar strength…this was going to be easy.
With her attacks having been so easily deflected the simulated Aer Nin comes at the Princess, that glowing hand leading the way again. Reaching for her she grasps for the soldiers face, as if trying to literally burn that smirk off her face.
”Is that all you have? Your skill is lacking.” As Aer Nin drew within range Akassa’s arm snapped up to grab the elf’s arm right at the wrist, stopping her palm inches before connecting with her face. At the same time her other hand comes up to press against the woman’s face to make sure she was held at bay. Arms trembling only slightly she held the once powerful Cardinal at arm’s length as she continued to smirk. Turning her left leg slightly to make sure she maintained her balance Akassa kicked up with her right, slamming her boot hard into the stomach of her enemy. Pouring her frustration and anger into the kick it was enough to launch the woman high up into the air.
Satisfied with the grunt that came from her as the tip of her boot bit into her abdomen Akassa watches her rise. Grinning now the Princess was ready finish this pointless scuffle, wondering why Resolute had thought this a challenge. What she didn’t realize was it was another test of her psyche. More powerful now she shifts her right arm back behind her as Aer Nin starts to gather herself in the air. Letting out a scream the Aon worshiper drops back towards the Princess, rocketing towards her for another attack. Akassa’s confident grin only drove the elf on faster, coming in fast as she leads with that glowing hand once more. Waiting the Hattori was already prepared, her arm snapping around as Aer Nin drew close to launch a silver disk at the girl. Realizing her error to late and still not understanding the new difference between them she was not able to pull up fast enough, trying to stop and twist in the air. Before she was able to move aside though the Kienzan struck her, the spinning disk of silver Ki cutting her cleanly in half. The simulator chose not to splatter the area with gore as she split in half, instead the image blink out of existence.
”Well that wasn’t a challenge Resolute, why are you wasting my time?”
No response came from the AI, at least in terms of words as multiple signatures popped up behind the Princess. Turning her eyes narrow in anger at the multiple versions over Aer Nin set before her. In addition to there being half a dozen of them their power level was right around 140,000. Snorting some Akassa eyes them all, eyes scanning across the group. Each of them looked at her in return, every individual seeming more confident now that they had the numbers advantage. Rolling her neck, a pop coming from it, she motions for them as she was never one to back down from any challenge.
The simulated Aer Nin’s obliged as they all came forward, the one towards the center of the group reaching Akassa first. More than ready to handle them the Princess quickly ducks the punch aimed for her face, coming right back up under the girl’s arm as she drove her gauntlet into the center of the elf’s robes and into her chest. Starting to throw the woman back she was not fast enough as she caught a fist across the face. Growling in frustration she began to turn only for another hand to grab her hair, yanking back hard. The growl turning into a small cry of pain Akassa attempts to reach back, but soon finds her arm wrapped up by two others.
Stronger than all of them on an individual level the Princess was struggling as they quite literally piled onto her. Several more punches came into her face, some then slamming into her gut as others grabbed for her other arm, forcing her own to her knees. Not able to shrug off her weighted jacket the Princess was not able to access her full power to completely overwhelm them; in turn they were overwhelming her. Tasting blood after yet another punch across the jaw she felt her anger rising. Akassa had already lost to this damn woman once and she would not let it happen again. Shoving with her legs she starts to stand, but a hard knee up under her ribs robs her of her air and along with it her strength. Crumpling back to her knees she groans, furious at her lack of performance yet again.
“I thought this wasn’t a challenge for you Princess? It seems that Aer Nin is still a foe you are incapable of handling. I will end the simulation for you.”
The words infuriated Akassa, but that is exactly what the AI had meant to do.
”No!” Came the defiant yell as the computer threatened to shut off the simulator. The AI’s simple words had pushed Akassa closer to the edge, mocking her for the lack of strength she possessed. It made her think of Natisha, how her step mother always mocked her for every little short coming that she had. Using that as fuel, along with her recent defeat in the defense of her home and family Akassa fights back.
Screaming in anger, her rage directed at Aer Nin, Natisha and even herself the half-saiyan gathers Ki within her body, storing it as if she was about to send it down her hand to launch a blast. She does not channel it though, pouring the energy into her center mass as she gathers it. More punches and kicks came, but she ignored them the best she could, feeling the pain, but not letting it get to her. More energy collected inside of her as the Princess let her anger fuel the attack. She had been humiliated in front of her entire family and the rest of New Vegeta with her loss to Aer Nin, and even though none of them watched her at this moment she was not about to let herself lose again.
Seconds later, accompanied by another scream Akassa released all of the energy she had charged up within her body, letting it erupt in one solid blast. Starting at the center of her torso the energy ripped free of her body and rapidly blasted outwards. The half a dozen simulations that had been beating on her mere moments before were obliterated as the wave of energy roll outwards. It continued on past the disintegrating bodies of Aer Nin as it began to form a dome type shape with Akassa at its center. Still screaming as the blast ran its course, taking up the entirety of the training chamber she then collapsed to a knee. Panting heavily as her aura disappeared she felt suddenly weak, the rage filled blast having taken quite a bit out of her. It had been a brutally effective attack, but incredibly draining on her. Feeling almost light headed Akassa waved her hand in the air, signaling to Resolute.
”End the simulation…I am done.” Without a complaint the AI obeyed, returning the gravity to its normal state. Still breathing heavy Akassa rose to her feet, the anger she had felt before having lessened with the sudden exhaustion that now came over her. The attack she had just used was something she had made up on the fly…she was going to have to practice it more with a cool head to get her body used to it. Done for the day she made her way from the chamber, Aer Nin hopefully in her past. As for Resolute the AI would have smiled had it actually had lips. The machine was designed to help Akassa grow stronger and that is exactly what it was doing.[/blockquote]
(Gravity x 30, weights, simulator and Tech)
Shinsei Basuto(Burst Nova) – Gathering a large amount of Ki into her body Akassa is able to release it in a large blast. The energy leaves her body in the form of an expanding sphere(dome if on a surface) of Ki that has the potential to obliterate anything in its path. While quite devastating considering how much energy she pours into it the attack is extremely draining on her body, the sheer amount of Ki being used require time to recover afterwards.
With Advanced Ki Sensing now under her belt Akassa smirks as Resolute reactivates the lighting in the chamber.
