All seemed quiet around Mount Paozu, it was raining half way down the mountain, as the clouds hugged around the massive rock like a doughnut. Above the clouds, sitting on a ledge with no visible path to, was Brandon.
He had found a small ledge to sit on, as he crossed his legs and looked out over the clouds that were underneath him. Something was nagging at him since his first fight with Nex. He had tried to use a popular technique from the Dragonball Z Anime series, but it had failed. He followed the information he had learned exactly, but couldnt understand why his Ki wouldnt work.
"Brandon, Whats eating at you?" Brandon heard Verlith ask him, and smiled a bit. "Verlith, Dont you already know?" He asked, but his spirit was silent for a moment, but he then replied "I do respect your privacy a bit you know." which made Brandon roll his eyes. "However...I do know why your....technique failed before." He added, perking Brandons interest.
"Oh? Care to shine some light on the subject?" He asked Verlith, as he got up to his feet, intrigued with what Verlith had discovered. "It is because you were trying to use 'Ki'. Your body does not Produce it, nor do I. Basically, you were tryin to tap into an energy that did not simply exist for you." Verlith said, as Brandon started to feel very stupid.
He smacked himself on the forehead, as he said "Really? I cant generate my own ki?" and knew Verlith would nod if he had a physical body. Then it clicked on him. "You think I could use our Chaos Energy in a replacement for Ki?" He asked, as some rocks fell down the mountain side beside him. Thinking that it was becuase of the moisture of the weather below, Brandon thought nothing of it.
"It IS possible, Though Im not entirely sure. I do feel like I should teach you how to actually manipulate your Energy into your own unique attacks, instead of just using mine." He said, as Brandon started to get excited. "Ok ok! Ill give it a try first, and see if anything happens." He said, looking out to the clouds below him.
He cupped his hands to one side, and closed his eyes for a moment. Instead of imagining Ki flowing into his hands, he thought of his Chaos energy instead. "Kaaameee..." He started to say, as red chaos energy started to flicker between his palms. "Keep it up, Somethings happening!" He heard Verlith say, making Brandon nervous as he tried to continue to focus his energy. "Haaammmmeeee...." brandon added, as a small sphere actually started to form where the sparks had been.
"Almost..." Verlith said, but was cut off by Brandon who yelled "HAA!" as he threw his palms forward. Expecting to see a large beam, all there was was a small amount of smoke, and the sound of something fizzling out.
"Well, Almost had it. That was good though, Your energy did start to do its work in the way you wanted, but you got distracted by me I guess, Or you were too nervous." Brandon heard, and sighed. "Dont tell me that my Chaos Energy is tuned with my Emotions Verlith... Id be in real trouble then." He said, and before Verlith could reply, Brandon heard more rocks fall down, but slightly larger ones, making a noise that got his attention.
"The hell?" He said, as he looked up to see NEON Agents repelling down towards him, hoping to catch him off guard. ", NEON again?!" He said, glaring. He was about to form a fireball for his Dragon Star in his hand, when the sound of a Helicopter was heard. "Oh great, a Surprise attack." He heard Verlith say, as 3 Choppers armed to the teeth emerged from the clouds underneath him.
But Before Brandon could say anything, They had fired what seemed to be rockets at the cliff where he had been resting. But Brandon saw that they werent aimed at him, but the cliff underneath him. When they impacted, the entire cliff side collapsed, leaving Brandon no where to go as he was taken down along side the mountain. "Whoa Whoa! Damn it!" Brandon said, as he lost his balance on the ledge that gave away. He fell down with the rocks, but quickly planted his feet on some falling debris, and pushed himself towards the mountain side, where his hand grabbed a ledge that was further down. He grunted when his weight was put on his arm, but he hung there as the rocks fell down below him.
He saw the choppers coming around for another rocket attack, and started to panic. If only he could fly... Then it hit him...quite literally. Brandon was so distracted, a rock that was knocked loose above him came lose ,and smacked him in the head, causing him to lose his grip and fall into the clouds. "We lost sight of him!"one of the pilots said, as the choppers dove into the dense clouds.
Luckily, Brandon saw where he was falling, and grabbed into another ledge. He felt his fingers crack and start to ache as rain started to pour over him. "Time to go onto the offensive..." He said, as he quickly charged energy to his feet, and used his Projection technique to blast upwards into the clouds. He would quickly see the outline of the descending chopper, as he used his shield technique to form into a spear shape, as Brandon soared right through the first chopper, causing it to explode in a fireball.
Soon Brandon was above the clouds, slowing down with gravity's help, Brandon saw that two choppers were waiting for him. But these ones did not have the normal arsenal then the last one. They each had a new type of weapon attached to the underside of their hull. Brandon saw them charging up their new weapons. Unable to move anywhere at that current moment, Brandon threw up his shield to block the impending attack.
Two purple beams were fired at him, and much to Brandons surprise, the beams penetrated his shield and struck him hard. "Gaaah!" Brandon screamed out ,as he felt that his body was being electrocuted constantly. "Brandon! You have to get out of this! Only a Large burst of energy can disrupt the beams!" He heard Verlith say, and tried to figure out what to do.
He knew Verlith said to use a energy burst of sorts, and only one thing ran through his mind... "Kaaame...." He started to say, as he cupped his hands to the side. Pain was wrecking his body, as he felt his strength already starting to weaken. "Brandon! That wont work! You cant do it yet!"Verlith yelled, trying to bring some sense to Brandon, but Brandon ignored him and concentrated as the ball of Chaos energy formed in Brandons hands. It didnt flicker, but shined brightly unlike the last one. "Hame.... HAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Brandon yelled over Verlith, as he thrusted his hands outwards.
And in a brief second, it would seem like it was going to fail again, but this timee, a beam the size of a soccer ball was fired from his hands. It cut through, and disrupted the first beam, and sliced through a helicopter, causing it to explode. And luckily for Brandon, his attack was still being fired, so he just adjusted his trajectory, as the beam sliced into the other aircraft, also causing it to explode.
"....Wow, That actually worked." Brandon said, as the beams were gone, and he started to fall back to the Earth. "Wake up Brandon, Your still in danger." Verlith chimed in, bringing Brandon back to reality, as he looked back towards the mountain side.
He saw that NEON agents were still trying to make their way to footholds to blast at him with their weapons. "Hmph, They really need to chill out." He replied, as he used his Projection technique to soar back towards the mountain, but before getting close, he created half a dozen balls of freezing energy, and pelted the mountain side with them, causing the Agents to slip, and fall from their ropes and footing.
"Its raining Agents today..." Brandon said with a laugh, as he watched them all fall to their deaths. He landed on a non-frozen ledge, and sighed. his body hurt like hell, and the day was almost over atleast. "Im totally gonna see where all these...Neonites are coming from someday..." He said, as he laid back against the mountain side again to rest.
"HA! Neonites....Good one. Im surprised your technique actually worked...Seems I was right. Emotion is tied to your powers it seems." Verlith said, as Brandon took a deep breathe. "It sorta worked, but much training will have to be done before I can do it properly..."

‘Chaos‘ Kamehameha: The Chaos Kamehameha is Brandons ‘Work-in-Progress’ technique he is developing himself. Basing knowledge off of its Anime counterpart, and his chaos energy, Brandon has started to develop his own version of the Kamehameha using his Chaos energy instead of Ki, as he cannot use Ki. It is used the same way as the classic Kamehameha, it is formed when cupped hands are drawn to the Brandon's side and the energy is concentrated into a single point between the cupped hands. The hands are then thrust forward to shoot out a streaming, powerful beam of chaos energy. At its current level, this is the only way Brandon can use the Chaos Kamehameha. The beam appears in a large red beam (¾ of a meter) with electrical arcs that surround the beam itself. Beam explodes on impact unless it impacts yet another beam.
Mastered ‘Chaos‘ Kamehameha: After extensive amounts of experimenting and training, Brandon was able to develop a much stronger version of his Chaos Kamehameha. Beam size is slightly larger (1 Meter wide), but still retains electrical arcs and colour. (100K PL required)
Super ‘Chaos‘ Kamehameha: After even more training with his new technique, Brandon has developed a concrete method of using the Chaos Kamehameha, and has training his body to execute it with maximum potency, thus creating the ‘Super Chaos Kamehameha”. The appearance of the beam itself is larger then the Mastered version, but like its mastered version, it still retains its colour and electrical arcs. (200K PL Required)
