Vast and breathtaking. . .
The feeling of flight at this level in Rain's strength seemed simply unreal he simply couldn't fathom how fast he could go till he peaked. Everyday he set out to beat his old times to places he frequently goes. Rain actually stayed on the none destroyed side of East City. His place was luckily unscathed through out the whole ordeal. Rain had actually been gone off into the woods to training for several months before he returned to civilization. His flight took him over the rain forests which weren't much but a blur at this speed unless he truly focused his sight. Still most times he simply just enjoyed the ride, his black and red aura looking like a foggy electrified shadow. He finally found his way back to East City, opting for the rich side of town which so happens to be the only not devastated part of the city. He owned a rather comfortable loft in it's heart of business.
As his loft came into view he began to slow down now gliding along the air. He lowered himself and flew through his open bedroom window. He landed with a rather loud thud as he settled himself down on the ground. His red eyes scanning his room looking for another shirt, he found one in the form of a white v-neck shirt. He tossed off his old shirt for the new one before flopping on his bed. He idly thumbed through the channels with the remote, he kept flipping until something caught his interesting. A guy he only just barely recognized was on T.V asking for people to come down to his manor to bodyguard him if they were strong enough. Rain found it half-way amusing but wasn't hooked on the idea until the mention of money was discussed. Rain sat up from his sitting position now listening to the man ramble on about what he needed done for him.
Rain wrote down the address and was surprised to find out that the man didn't stay too far from him. Rain leaped out his window without notice, as he allowed his body to fall he caused some gasps by lucky lookers before he rocketed off to the skies. The sunlight was just now peaking over the mountains, causing it's rays to spill over toward the city. It gave it a feeling of it being way later than it actually was but Rain hardly ever paid attention to the time anyway. As Rain found himself steadily getting closer and closer to the man's manor and with control Rain slowed his flight landing at the man's door. Rain wasted no time knocking lightly but hard enough on the door now waiting for an answer. Rain heard the sound of a gun cock back, Rain watched the door open to reveal a scared and yet armed with a shotgun currently pointed at his head. Rain's annoyance spiked for a second as he didn't appreciate being at gun point even if he wasn't sure whether it was going to do something or not.
"Who. . . who are you? You better. . not be one of those thugs." The man said still quivering even though he was the one holding a gun to Rain, which only served to further piss Rain off. "I'm Rain, and I'm here to rid you of your thug problem." With that, Rain side stepped his gun and the man walking into his manor. Rain looked around his manor and it was pretty impressive it made him think. "So where are the thugs at?" Rain was already ready to flex out his new found strength. His blood was literally calling him to bring blood shed and he couldn't hold back the growing hunger for long. Rain walked into the main room which hosted a giant glass waterfall display, Rain found himself starting at the functional work of art. It wasn't until the last minute that Rain noticed a car flying toward them through the window.
As the car crashed into the house, Rain leaped up into the sky grabbing the car and pushing. With effort he managed to catch the car and set it down but not before another one came. He just managed to put away those two cars when ki blasts started swarming into the house. Rain dashed over to the man, scooping him up and rocketing out toward the skies. While ascending he moved past several super-powered thugs floating outside the house. They almost immediately tried to follow him but they were not fast enough to keep up. Rain swooped in low as soon as he reached the forest, he flew within the trees before rapidly stopping dropping the man off safely before coming up out of the forest. Ki blasts rapidly tried to pelt him as soon as he did, but his shield easily deflected such feeble attacks. Rain's body image flickered for a second then disappeared from what the thugs could see. Next thing 1 out of the 5 thugs knew was they had been side kicked into several trees and the ground.
Two thugs continued to trying to pick him off using ki blasts while the other two charged for him. Rain blocked a punch and narrowly dodged a kick before sending a punch of his own to one of the thugs. It was dodged, and another kick was sent for Rain. His body image blurred away as both thugs punched through his after-image, Rain sent a knee into one of the man's nose. And blasted the other with a sizable point blank range ki blasts. It seemed as if their partners defeat strengthened the last two as they're ki blasts started really effecting his shield. Rain peaked back at the two and it seemed like both of them were powering up and it became evident as their energy levels spiked dangerously close to Rain's. They both moved in position for a dual Kamehameha wave, Rain rocketed back gripping his arm as he extended that and his palm. He began summoning all of his energy to his right extended hand, he remembered the lessons from the Kai. Red & black ki energy swelled up and rapidly grew in size rather quickly.
Suddenly, they launched their attacks and Rain held his attack until the last seconds feeding all his energies to the blast. He spoke solidly and with an odd coldness as he said "Rage Blast!" His energy moved with a look of an all encompassing blasts, as the three attacks connected. At first it seemed as if they were even matched but Rain's attack starts to overwhelm and take over the two thugs attacks. Rain's current power levels was weaker as that attack had costs him for it's strength so he had to hope it was enough. As his attack kept pushing through their Wave, it eventually connected with them as their screams lit up the skies. And after a rather impressive explosion, the men were no more and Rain dipped low once more picking up the rich man. He rocketed toward the house and dropped the man off who couldn't stop thanking him.
However, a sly idea crossed Rain's man as he walked with the man to his safe. And when he turned around to open the safe, Rain sent a ki blast to the back of his head. Blood spattered over the room and the safe as Rain sent another to blow up the safe instead finding 1,500 zeni in it. The wretched man was trying to hold out on him, Rain chuckled now suddenly even more in peace with blowing the man's head off. Rain walked toward the man's garage finding a slim sleek blue car in the garage. As a couple of seconds of search he found the keys and within minutes he roared off with the car into the skies. Now the sunlight was high in the sky signalling it was about noonish and either way it goes Rain was starving. Rain flew through the traffic with very cocky maneuvers and breath holding moments but eventually he arrived at his favorite spot Han's.
Meanwhile. . .
Word had been circulating that a rather strong person was bluffing to be the strongest. And that he would teach others his strength in exchange for simply being able to hit him once. Rain was sure that he could pull off such a feat of skill, still thinking and actually doing was two different things. First he'd have to find such energy that could possibly belong to this man. To which Rain floated far about East city, allowing himself to center himself within the clouds. His perceptions spreading throughout the whole world several auras blaring out toward his senses but one far surpassed them and he knew that would have to mean that this was the man's energy signature. Rain summoned his energy around him his own aura spiking up, without warning he blasted off toward the man.
The ground before him was simply a blur unless he focused on the ground below him. Rain spun around with his black and red aura whirling around his body, his eyes resolute as he continued to push himself farther and closer to his goal. It was merely only a matter of time before he'd reach his target. Rain didn't know how he was supposed to catch a man of such reputation still that would not crush Rain's determination. Rain could now see the man but there was something weird about this man. His skin was a pale blue and his body while lean he could tell that the man was vastly strong. Rain grinned for a second at the challenge, Rain wouldn't give the man any chance to react as Rain plummeted toward the Kai. The ground ripping up at his speed and power as he tried to attack the Kai.
"If you wanna hit a Kai, your going to have to come with better than that."
That was all Rain heard as the Kai that he thought he hit only turned out to be an afterimage. Rain twisted around throwing a devastating kick toward the Kai. This lead him to be met with only another afterimage. Rain gritted his teeth in frustration as he poured more energy into his body and attacks. Rain continued to push himself harder and harder as he tried unsuccessfully to attack the Kai. Rain poured his energy into his palms and rapidly sent his best strikes toward the Kai. The Kai easily evaded Rain's attacks but what pissed Rain off was that he could tell how easily the Kai was avoiding his attacks. Rain rocketed forward no longer holding any of his reserves power or speed back. He could feel himself quickening with each strike, every strike bringing him closer and closer to striking the Kai.
When it seemed like Rain would finally strike the Kai, the Kai drew a long blade from it's sheath. Rain watched in amazement at the mastery of which the Kai used the blade. Rain was now on the defensive, having to narrowly dodge each attack which was easily making him exert himself. However, his determination would not allow for him to give up. "I will not fail this test!" He yelled as he began to dig deep within himself, the trappings of his mind and the world fading away truly finding his warrior saiyan spirit. His eyes flared with a renewed sense of purpose, Rain spun low and swept under the Kai. But once again the Kai dodged his attack by flipping over his foot, but it was proving that he was getting faster. Rain powered his energy up to it's full point, and rushed after the Kai no longer worried about the sword as he kept his energy up on full blast while he began his relentless attack on the Kai.
Rain felt and saw one of his punches go directly through the Kai, and realized once again it was an accident. On instinct, he twisted around throwing his best kick 180 degrees to the left, and it connected to the Kai! He didn't connect on speed but based of his battle knowledge of the Kai's movements. The Kai braced himself for the kick while catching Rain's leg. "Good work, but still a little sloppy but I digress." With that he threw Rain to the ground mainly as a show of strength. The half saiyan was back up to his feet, he personally would not allow himself to show weakness to anyone. His aura was weakened noticeably by the rather simple attack, this spoke volumes for the true strength of the Kai. Rain's body ached from the exertion of his body and how much it truly taxed him. Sure he could push through such things while within battle but at the same time after the battle things would hinder him.
"Now for your training I will need you at full strength." With a warning the Kai placed his palms in front of Rain, and with a breath and the stirring of the winds around them. The Kai's palms began to glow and a warming sensation filled Rain's chest, he inhaled deeply in surprise and comfort. Rain's energy struggled at first but began to flourish within him like a deep burning furnace. Rain could now feel the new strength and speed he had acquired grow within him. Rain's muscles lengthen and bucked up visibly as he gasped at the sensation of the movement. His body stretched out almost painfully for a second before his muscle relaxed and because of the healing they were not even sore. His hair which was already long seemed to grow a couple of inches as well, he ran his fingers through his black and red locks for a second. Suddenly, he sprang forward with a rush of energy.
"Now that you back to top shape time to show you this little trick I know. First you channel you energy through one of your arms, you can even hold that arm as you stabilize that energy. Finally, pour energy into a ball true this is rather advanced but you learn two for you, ki blasts and what I call the big bang attack. Channel as much energy as you can into the blast without losing control, and use your energy to send it with as much force as possible to your enemy watch and learn kiddo." The Kai leaped into the air facing away from Rain, he drew in a deep breath and a dark blue ball of energy spiked out before his left hand. As he powered up his true strength it knocked the air out of Rain how immense his true strength was. Rain looked on in awe at the powerful Kai as he performed the big bang attack. Before Rain knew it, the small orb was now huge and sent toward the heavens. It's mere presence causing the clouds to part away from it and it easily pierced through Earth's gravity and once hitting the vacuum of space it exploded. The shockwaves could even be felt by Rain and that was how Rain knew he would have to learn this technique.
"See not that hard is it kiddo?"
Rain looked at the Kai and then to his hands and said. "I have to learn that move that was awesome! Are there more moves like that ma'am?"
The Kai chuckled to herself before saying. "Of course, but we'll have time for the others later young one."
