Dual Controlled Kienzan(Master Technique) – Similar to Frieza in DBZ Akassa has learned to control the Kienzan technique at a much higher level than most. Instead of just one disk she is able to form two and through her psychokenesis control them both.
Akassa walked through the ruins of the palace, numerous thoughts and emotions tumbling over themselves within her head. She couldn’t believe it; one of her own people had tried to betray her family to the Universal Church of One. Nasu Nun or as he claimed, Nasu Hattori, was a traitor to New Vegeta. The runt had said he was a bastard of King Tsuyo, similar to Akassa herself, but there was no way that was true, it couldn’t be true. If he was then why had he been shunned while she was allowed to live amongst the rest of the royals…even if she was never treated like one? Of course the Princess didn’t realize how similar their tales were, the truth of her mother’s fate still hidden from her. The hook Nasu had received across the jaw was what he deserved, and not a single objection had come from any left in the tent after it had happened. Ezekiel had even seemed to support her actions or at least not speak out against them, something that was a bit surprising considering how vocal he usually was with his views. Regardless of what the others had thought, it had felt good to slug her “half-brother.”
In the recent past Akassa had suffered nothing but failures, stretching from her performance in the Galactic Tournament to her defeat at the hands at Aer Nin. Part of her knew that she had been successful against the Cardinal, at least in the sense that she had held her of long enough for Ninjin to deliver a decisive blow, forcing the wench to detonate in a last pathetic attempt to unleash her wrath on the Saiyans. Had the Princess not been able to go toe to toe with the woman for so long her home might be in a very different state at the moment, far worse than it already was. Still she had received no praise for her actions, no nod of approval from her father and she understood why. A Saiyan warrior was supposed to win their battles without aide and finish off their foes with their superior combat prowess. No matter what she had done to set up Ninjin’s victory, that is exactly what it was…Ninjin’s victory.
So much had happened yet there was plenty more to do, their eventual departure for wherever this group had come from promised to be full of combat, and Akassa planned to prove herself here. She had missed the opportunity in the tournament and missed her most recent one against Aer Nin, but she was not going to come up short this time, not again. First things first though she needed to get herself back in order, gather up the scouter she had lost in the fight against the elf and whatever she could salvage from her quarters.
Making it back to what had once been the throne room of the palace the soldier starts to search through the rubble, tossing boulders and steel aside with ease as she sorts through, hoping to find her scouter intact. As luck would have it the device had survived, the scouter tucked nicely under a large piece of concrete that was thankfully propped up by two others. Picking the small piece of equipment up Akassa dusts it off before clipping it onto its rightful place over her right eye, red bangs hanging down over it. One item down, several more to reclaim.
Lifting off the ground the Princess hovers towards where her quarters had been before the fight, surprised to see that some of the walls still stood. Chuckling some she drops in through the sunroof her room now possessed, a gaping hole having been made in the ceiling. Dropping into her room she looks around at the furniture that remained intact, one couch and the vanity that she had. Lying across the couch was her weighted jacket, perfectly fine besides the dust that had settled over it. Lifting it from the couch she shakes it once to free it from the clinging powder before throwing it on. The dampening effect of the weights immediately took effect, lowering her natural power level. Rolling her shoulders some to help the coat settle in she catches a glimpse of herself in the mirror of the vanity…she was a mess.
Stepping closer she frowns some at the horrible state her appearance was in, she hadn’t realized the state she had attended the war council in, a dirty mess. Looking more like a peasant than a princess, Akassa takes a seat on the bench to try and salvage her appearance the best she could. Taking a cloth from the table she wipes the dirt from her face, removing the brown splotches that had dotted it. With her face a bit cleaner she picks up her brush and runs it through her hair. The process took several long, painful minutes, as she forces it through the dirty rats nest her thick black hair had become. When she was finally satisfied with it she scoops the raven locks up from around her shoulders on one side, tucking them up and starting to pin them to the side and back of her head, making sure to leave her red bangs free. Minutes later, with her hair set, she felt a little better, her appearance quite important to her as it was one of the few things in her rigid life she had relative control over.
Sighing she rises to her feet, checking the internal pocket of her jacket to verify the senzu bean was still there. With her belongings gathered she looks around the room, contemplating taking some time to clean it up, but ultimately decides against it. There were more important things to do, she wanted to take a trip around the city to observe the true extent of the damage beyond the reports Natisha had shown them.
With the Queen popping back into her thoughts for the first time since this business with Nasu, Akassa found her eyes narrowing some. Looking back to the mirror she lifts her left arm to look at the artificial hand that poked from the sleeve. Natisha had smirked when she saw her step-daughters dismemberment, the thought stabbing harshly at the princess pride and ego. Of course the Queen had quickly come up with a defense for the expression, but it was a lie. Akassa knew the woman better than the Queen probably realized, but she had always kept her mouth shut for the sake of her father. Today that had not been the case and admittedly it had felt better than when she punched Nasu to snap back at the woman. Feeling her blood pressure raising a little the Princess takes a deep breath, calming her nerves. There were more important things at the moment than her anger; she needed to focus on her people. Lifting back into the air she starts to refocus, but did not plan on forgetting the joy Natisha had expressed at her expense.
Making her way out towards the rest of the city the Akassa made sure to remain high in the air, not wanting to alert anyone of her presence. Of course her power wasn’t suppressed but still few would be actively searching the skies for her at the moment, most still in the midst of recovering from the very recent attacks. The Universal Church of One had laid waste to so much of her home. She had flown above the city on her way to the war council, her haste having limited what she saw. Now able to take it all in she felt her heart sink even more.
Along with Aer Nin, the Namekian and man that Ezekiel had defeated the Church had brought androids with them, unleashing the machines on the soldiers and general public. Along with the lives they had taken the mindless robots had wrought destruction amongst the streets of New Vegeta, ravaging and destroying whatever they came across. This high in the air the Princess was able to take it all in, various buildings that she once recognized were nothing more than piles of rubble strew across broken foundations. Moving along she frowns some as she notices a crater where one of their military outposts had been, the gathering of Saiyan soldiers most likely one of the first targets during the attack. She feared for how many might have been lost as the building was obliterated.
Some soldiers seemed to be gathering near the building, perhaps assigned as a cleanup crew of sorts or perhaps a rescue team. Most of the people trapped in rubble would have been removed by now, the Princess not able to help in the initial recovery attempts since she had been in surgery. If she had been fine she would have been there to assist in what was needed, but her arm had needed to come first in case any other threats were to arrive. Leaving the destroyed barracks behind Akassa heads closer to the edge of the city, wanting to see how far the destruction might have reached. The farther she traveled the better shape the city was in, the majority of the damage focused on the Palace and the area surrounding to it. By the time she had reached the outskirts everything seemed as it should be, the outlying parts of the city relatively untouched.
Pausing in the air her eye was drawn to a crouched figure upon a roof top, eyebrow raising at the figure as it ducked behind a ledge. Thinking the attempt at taking cover a bit suspicious the Princess hits her scouter, letting it scan the signature of the person below. For a second the device beeped as the numbers rolled, but quickly stopped just shy of 40,000. A rather high signature, even for a member of the military. Akassa’s knew something was up when the figure glance up, apparently having sensed her. It seemed she had been spotted, and the small figure below took off, launching from the rooftop as it soared towards the city limits.
A veteran soldier, Akassa did not hesitate, dropping from the sky as her silver aura ignites. Stronger and faster than her foe the Princess was quick to gain ground, the figure coming into view in more detail as she drew closer. First she saw a tail snapping in the wind, the dark brown appendage matching the long hair that the Saiyan possessed. Scanning up the fleeing parties figure it was soon obvious it was another female she pursued. As she closed in on her target the woman looked back, eyes widening with recognition as she realized who it was that now tailed her. The female Saiyan’s power doubled as a green aura burst to life around her, but it was not enough; Akassa had already drawn close enough to reach for her foot.
Arm snapping forward she grabs at the girls right ankle, starting to tug until the woman’s left foot snaps back to kick the Princess square in the face. Growling in frustration at the attack Akassa switches to full combat mode, yanking up hard to stop the still fleeing Saiyan in her tracks. With her forward momentum stolen the female twists some, sending her foot back into the Princess for a second time. Forced to release her prey this time Akassa saw why the woman was running. Pinned to her vest was a small red pin…a red flag. Instantly the Princess recognized the insignia for what it is, this girl was a member of the Red Flags.
”I see you have no qualms about attacking a member of the royal family, but suppose I should not be surprised!” Rising up some into the air Akassa’s right hand whips forward to launch a Ki blast at the woman, the Red Flags member crossing her arms in front of her chest to defend against the blast. The force of the attack has her disappearing into the building below. Even as the girl smashed through the roof, dust and debris flying, the Princess yelled to her again. Around them people scattered, quickly fleeing the scene as the two strong warriors began to fight.
”Tell me your name traitor so that I may tell others who it is that betrayed our people!” Floating in the air Akassa waited, arms out and tense as her silver aura flickered around her. There was undeniable evidence that the group had taken jobs regardless if they were against the crown or not, even aided the Universal Church of One. Well a Hattori was right here; let the girl face the royal blood that she had assisted in betraying. The group had worked in secret, operating in the shadows, but Akassa wanted to see how one might handle them self when trapped out in the open.
”My name is Jayna Proudmor…and you are mistaken, I did not sell out my people.” Despite the words Jayna answered with something else, a green beam of energy lancing out from the darkness and slamming into Akassa chest. Hissing in pain the Princess gets lifted farther into the air before rolling off the attack, letting it disappear into the blackness of space behind her.
”Yet you attack me without hesitation!” Finally able to vent some of her rage Akassa lets it flow forth from her, having no intention of holding back against this woman. She might have had nothing to do with the contracts that held no regard for the betterment of New Vegeta, but that didn’t matter. This Janya was a member of the Red Flags and was guilty of their crimes, Akassa would see justice through. In a way it was a selfish desire, the Princess wanting to take out all of the anger within her, this Saiyan had been unlucky to cross her path this day.
Bending her arm back behind her Akassa quickly forms a silver disk with her Ki; her continued practice with the Kienzan technique decreasing the time it took for her to create it. Letting out a cry she launches it forward, the other Saiyan already fleeing. Sensing the approaching energy behind her Janya spins in the air and pulls up hard, barely getting out of the way as the spinning disk passes under her. The attack had missed and as frustrating as it was Akassa had been prepared to follow up from the very beginning.
As Janya spun in the air the Princess had rushed her, sending in a flurry of blows at the other female. With Akassa’s weights on the two were close to an even match, the brown haired Saiyan deflecting and blocking her blows like a veteran fighter. Smirking some she began to pick up the pace, further testing the other girl, metal arm and organic arm alternating strikes.
”It seems that you have spent a fair amount of time fighting, was it ever against a member of the royal family or the military?” The hatred in her tone might have surprised those that knew her, the Princess never so quick to direct her malice as one she had just met. The recent events had changed Akassa, and who was to say it wasn't for the worse.
”Against the military yes, but never against the royal family…until now!”
Janya reached forward to grab the Princess by the left arm and right shoulder, pulling her close as she drives her forehead into hers. Groaning in response to the unexpected shot Akassa is stunned a moment as the Saiyan spins and throws her towards the ground. A building breaks her fall as her body slams through the multiple levels of the home. Whether she was truly against the crown or simply trying to save her own life Janya did not stop there as she began to launch a flurry of blasts down into the structure Akassa had just vanished into. Pumping her arms the Saiyaness threw blast after blast down into what was quickly becoming rubble, the accumulated explosions making short work of the building.
Bursting from the side of the crumbling home Akassa hits the ground and rolls, her entire body caked in dust and grime as she tumbles across the ground before getting her feet under her. With one hand down on the street for support her head snaps up to glare at the woman, dust flying from her thick raven locks. Grinding her teeth she seemed in an even fowler mood now that she was a mess again, having just cleaned herself off before setting out. Both women sat in silence for a moment as they regarded each other, Janya unsure if she should try and reason with the Princess or attack while Akassa had already made up her mind.
With a scream she launches from the street, cracks spreading across the concrete from the force behind her leap. Once airborne her bukujutsu takes over as she rushes the Saiyan again. Several yards from her target this time her right arm snaps forward, but no blast came from it. Instead Ki gathered around her wrist as her arm reared back, the energy extending into a whip as she shot her arm forward.
Janya to her credit was quick to react as she pulls back she just wasn’t fast enough, the strand of energy wrapping around her ankle. Without hesitation Akassa yanks downwards, ripping the girl out of the air from where she floated and spiking her back down into the ground below. Slightly stronger than the girl the Princess knew the brutal slam was going to hurt, the groan that rose up from the crater below confirming it.
About to press her attack Akassa pauses when her scouter beeps.
”Princess, is there a problem? We detected a signature in your area. Please report.” The interruption irritated her more than normal, usually having no problem with communication during a mission. That was it though, this wasn’t a mission, this was a fight and Akassa felt it was personal even if she might secure her peoples safety in the process. No one needed to come assist her or interfere, this was something she was more than capable of handling on her own.
”There is no problem. I have come across one of the traitors belonging to the Red Flag organization; I am in the process of eliminating them now.” With the message sent she removes her scouter, tucking into the clip she kept on her belt for when she did not need the device. In truth, she had taught herself to sense powers naturally so the item was not a necessity. No one else knew she could sense without it and she planned to keep it that way, perhaps using it to her advantage in the future.
Hearing another groan come from the ground below her Akassa puts her attention back on the fight. Seeing the woman pulling herself from the earth, standing up only to stumble and fall onto her stomach. A grin spreading across her lips the Princess was far from done with the woman. Still floating in the air above her Akassa deactivates her bukujutsu, letting gravity do her work as she drops towards the ground. With her legs more than strong enough to handle the fall Akassa aims her feet right for the small of the woman’s back, letting her heels slam down hard into the girl. The yelp of pain as her boots slam into the Saiyan’s back caused the grin upon her face to widen.
Akassa had always enjoyed fighting, but that was because it was a release for all the pent up emotions that she was always forced to keep inside. Actually taking any pleasure in the suffering of her foes was not how she usually operated, yet after everything that had happened it almost felt good to give something back, even if the receiving party didn’t fully deserve it. Stepping off the traitor the Princess turns to look down at the woman, her grin replaced by disgust.
”It’s not so easy to act against the crown when you are not lurking in the shadows to do so now is it? I am not sure how many of there you are left, but I plan to take out ever single last member of your organization.” The way the organization had acted against the throne, the home that she so loved Akassa's voice was beginning to raise a she spoke to the woman. Aer Nin had come to destroy New Vegeta, but at least she had stepped out in the open to do so. This group had hidden, working against the crown behind the scenes like cowards…no wonder Nasu Nun fit in so well.
Reaching for her Akassa grabs at the girl’s hair, finger lacing between the thick strands before she pulls her up. Janya winces as she is lifted up and off the ground, her feet dangling several inches above the dirt as the Princess extends her arm to hold her up.
”I did nothing…to go against the royal family or New Vegeta…you and your family are too quick to judge.” It seemed the slam into the ground from the stronger fighter had done some damage to the girl, Janya’s arms hanging at her sides as she speak, seemingly in pain. Then again perhaps it had been the stomp to her lower back that had her somewhat docile. Regardless of why she wasn’t currently fighting back her words did nothing to help her cause, Akassa’s eyes narrowing in response.
’Liar!” Spinning the Princess keeps her tight grip on the woman’s hair; bring her up and over her head to slam her back into the ground. Dust again erupts from the force of the impact as the brunette gets driven right back into the ground Akassa had just lifted her from. Snorting some the Princess steps over her opponent, straddling her for a moment before dropping down onto her knees, one on each side of the girl’s waist. With her right arm reaching forward her fingers grasp the girl’s top, pulling it some to lift her shoulder slightly off the ground.
”I can feel the power you posses! If there is at least one other member in your organization that wields this much strength you could have come to the aide of New Vegeta and saved lives!”Teeth grinding together again Akassa starts to hit the girl in the face with her mechanical arm, slugging her over and over again as she kept her pinned to the ground, holding her up by her shirt. Unlike her normal arm the metal one took much longer to tire, no real muscles in it as the cables and wires reacted to the Ki that surged through them.
Pummeling the girl for a full 30 seconds Akassa was panting a little when she stops, the use of Ki still wearing her down a little even if her arm felt perfectly fine. Jayna was in far worse shape than she had been half a minute ago. Her once fair face now bloody and battered Akassa pauses for a moment, almost ending it there, but she just couldn’t. This woman needed to pay like the rest of the organization did, pay for what they had done. Lives had been lost because of their actions so there was only one payment that would suffice…
Rising from her mounted position over the girl, Akassa stands, rolling her neck some as her eyes scan over the quite obviously defeated woman below her. With a snort she steps to the side before grabbing Janya’s left ankle, turning as she drags the girl across the ground for a couple steps before throwing her up into the air. The Princess puts a good deal of her strength behind the throw; the brunette sent spinning up into the air above the city. Eyes never leaving her target, Akassa shrugs off her jacket as her right leg shifts back to the same stance she had started the fight with, the one she used when launching her Kienzan attack.
No longer constrained by her weights her true power flows forth, reaching up over 200,000. Energy began to cascade down her arm; some silvers strands even arching out over her skin as she attempts something she has not done before. Confident in her power, power that was greater than Ninjin and even her father in his base form the Princess gathers even more energy into the arm.
The energy soon left her arm, forming a silver spinning disk like it had before, but she was not satisfied with just one. She forces more Ki down her arm Akassa knew she could do more, wield more power than what she had shown up until this point. Letting out a scream a second disk burst to life underneath the first, the amount of Ki required to form another Kienzan reducing the size of the first, the two separate disks now equal in size. Breathing a little heavy at the stress from the developing attack she does not relent yet, even more energy flowing into them as they both expand to reach a diameter of about two feet. By this time poor Janya had reached the apex of her flight into the air, gravity finally winning out over the force Akassa had put behind the throw.
As the woman started to fall Akassa’s eyes tracked her so that she could better time the release of her dual attack. Watching carefully, her brown eyes that were so normally calm more akin to that of a predator as the girl fell. When the time was right she unleashes the attack, both disks soaring out towards the woman. That was not the extent of her attack though; she wanted it to be even more efficient should she be using it against a foe that was not so weak. Reaching out with her mind Akassa takes hold of the two disks, altering their paths as they rotate around each other before spreading out. Sending them out wide she lets Janya fall below her original target level, using her mind to drop the two disks with her. Still focusing she was more than pleased with the technique, her confidence in her own power not having been misplaced.
It was time to end this though. The dual kienzans were following the woman towards the quickly approaching ground, but her body would not make it there in one piece. With a thought Akassa causes the attacks to close in on Janya, one striking her from each side. The higher one sliced through the girl right at waist level while the other cut clean through her slender neck. Blood arched through the air in both directions as the girl’s body is cut in three. After they had crossed over each other she lets them go, letting the powerful disks shoot off into the expanse of space as all three parts of Janya’s body fell to the earth.
With the girl’s power signature gone Akassa shifts out of the stance she had been in while creating and controlling them. Letting out a long breath as her aura disappears the Princess felt relief in taking out her frustrations, especially on an enemy of her family and her home. She had fought Aer Nin so recently, yet she was so much stronger already. Like Janya and her fellow members of the Red Flags, the Universal Church of One had no idea who it was they had provoked. The Princess loved to fight, but never before had she been so motivated to take the lives of others, never before had she enjoyed it so much.
Akassa would destroy anyone that stood in the way of her vengeance.
