Sacrifices. Akassa was prepared to make as many as were required.
The Princess had never known Rebbec Vession, her mother, on any level. The human woman was the biological mother that she was destined never to meet. Beyond the natural bond that existed between all mothers and their children, Akassa had never had feelings for the human, had never loved her the way Tsuyo once did. She had loved her father though, loved him with all her heart. That love was what had driven her so far in life, pushed her to become stronger so that he might one day accept her the way he had Ninjin and Leke. Yet over the years, no matter what it was she had achieved, the King’s praise had never been directed at her. In recent weeks she had begun to doubt herself, believing it was her fault the Saiyan was not as proud of her as he was his other children. With her golden aura flickering around her slender, but powerful frame Akassa realized now she was not the one to blame. Confronting him this day had shown her the ruler he truly was, making sacrifices without concern for how it might affect others as long as it achieved his goals. Keeping his daughter at arm’s length for her entire life had been a way for him to distance himself from the reality of what he had done. For this reason he saw Rebbec now, standing beside the daughter they shared. Perhaps, in his last moments, Tsuyo might realize the error he had made so many years ago in allowing the human to be executed. While it was Natisha that gave the order, there was no excuse for the powerful Kings inability to save her. The Super Saiyan that now fought against him was what he could have had should he had chosen to do what was right. No matter how strong, no being could escape fate.
Clutching her second Kienzan with her willpower the Princess rips it from the sky. Spinning and diving towards her father she was aware of what it meant should the attack strike him. The technique was a lethal one when on a level playing field, her power advantage guaranteeing that he was not going to survive. So when the disc sliced through him, from shoulder to hip, Akassa did not even flinch. As the Kienzan burst through the side of the King she jerks upwards to send the dangerous attack up into the stars, not wishing to do any more damage to her home. Eyes on Tsuyo, her lips curled slightly in a wicked grin, the Princess…no…the Queen was not able to make out the last word he uttered before his body fell apart.
Her father’s divided body had only just touched the ground as she rose to her feet, head turning towards the direction of Natisha’s signature. Justice was yet to be delivered in full, the wench just as guilty as the King. Taking a step towards the second half of the murderous pair she halts as a single word echoes across the battlefield, the insult coming from the mouth of her younger brother. In all honesty she had nearly forgotten that the youngest Hattori was here, so focused on the task at hand. Pausing in her stride she turns to regard him, eyes narrowing some at the word he had chosen. The boy still did not understand what their father had done? He dared address his new Queen with such an insulting tongue?
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO HIM? TO ME?"
To him? Why was it that even now, after the acts of their parents had been revealed Leke continued to take their side? Akassa was the one that had been betrayed, the Hattori who was constantly disrespected for the last two decades when all she had ever wanted was the same treatment her siblings received. She would never have it now, but she knew now no matter what feats she might have accomplished she would have always been a half-breed in their mind. Leke, out of all of them, had always had the most sympathy for her yet now he too thought her a monster. A monster, just like Tsuyo had called her. As much it pained her to hear him address her in such a way, she would see this through.
Bluish-green eyes looking to him, the anger remained, but there was a hint of sadness as the last of her family abandoned her. Akassa was truly alone, she always had been. So be it. Lifting her right hand in the direction of the charging Hattori, palm open and facing him she hesitates only a moment. Leke was traveling at his top speed, the anger he felt pushing him to his max, but to Akassa it was as if he was lazily floating towards her. With no words for her younger brother she unleashes a kinetic blast in his direction. The invisible wave of energy ripples through the air as it expands, Akassa allowing her full power to fuel the attack. Normally it was designed to push opponent’s way, but she was unsure what it might do in terms of damage with such a difference in strength between the two. One thing was for sure though, the wave of energy was more than the young Saiyan could handle.
Not waiting to see the aftermath of her attack, Akassa launches into the air. Arching backwards she spins to right herself while she rockets towards Natisha. Like Leke, there was little the murderous Queen would be able to do in terms of resisting or fleeing Akassa, she was pathetically weak. Speeding through the air like a golden tailed comet, the half-saiyan zeros in on her final objective. Like Tsuyo, Natisha was going to answer for her crimes.

Something felt wrong. The Queen was not sure how to describe it other than that. Her husband’s energy had disappeared from the universe and despite frantic eyes darting through the sky nothing changed. Tsuyo Hattori had lost to a mutt and had lost his life due to it. Natisha could not feel her son’s, Leke’s, power whatsoever as all the air hung with was that mutt Akassa’s. Her very power seemed to illuminate the sky in a fashion that she had never seen before. No doubt Akassa in her spiteful rage for anything royal had murdered her younger son in cold blood and made a mockery out his body. The boy did not deserve that as he was innocent and had even lacked the typical resolve a normal Saiyan had. He would have no doubt made a great ambassador and great confidant to Ninjin when he ascended to his rightful place on the throne when Tsuyo decided to step down. That would not be the case if events continued to unfurl like they were doing now. Ninjin was far away from home in a ship that she doubted would ever hear of this news until he returned home. Leke was probably dead at the hands of the monster that his half-sister had become with her blood rage. And one of the greatest of the Hattori kings had been felled defending everything that was dear to him. Akassa had decided that she would spill the royal blood out of some pitiful arbitrary reason as the vengeance for the whore that she called her mother.
Rage bubbled inside of Natisha as she felt the massive power that Akassa possessed come closer to the Queen. There was no point in running as there was nowhere to run to. There was no point in fighting as Natisha’s skills lied with her ability to use a silver tongue rather than brute force. And there was nothing to run for as she would not cower in the sight of a hideous mutt that had stumbled onto great power. Natisha would stand her ground as she did not fear what was coming towards her. The Queen had provided Akassa the opportunity to live in an environment that she would have always been denied. The Queen shielded her as a child from power hungry nobles within the Saiyan society. The Queen had even awarded the mutt the grace of being in the presence of true royals. Let her come and face what she so thought was her own vengeance. Natisha did not regret a single action that she had done as every single thing she had done was for the betterment of New Vegeta.

The last thing Leke would see clearly would be Akassa whipping her head around, narrowing her eyes at him. Before he had time to move an inch further from his flying position, her arm had extended, palm facing towards him. His eyes had not the time to widen in anticipation for the ensuing attack. In a flash, Leke's vision blackened as he felt the worst pain he had ever felt come upon him, the feeling similar to what a weak human civilian would feel if they were run over by a truck. He could feel his bones snap in turn, his ribs turning inward and puncturing his organs. His body was sent skyrocketing backwards, slamming into a far wall and leaving the broken teenager in a crumpled heap.
The prince would struggle to cough up blood, gasping onto whatever air could find his way into his failing lungs. His heart raced, his vision fading fast as he clung onto the dregs of his life. True fear set into him as he felt his very being slip away from him. The pain was so great that he found himself unable to cry out, only able to continue wheezing and spewing blood, coating his lips and chin in the red crimson. Only able to make out the brilliant golden light, Leke watched his sister take off, not even caring for what she had done to him. For today, she had become what her father had feared, a vengeful monster. What his parents had done was wrong, but it did not mean that the king had to be murdered in such a way, for her to wreak such havoc and fear upon the castle and its inhabitants. She was endangering every life on New Vegeta with her unlocked power. If only she had been able to harness it for good...
Leke wheezed again, the blood dripping down now onto his shattered chestplace. He was barely able to look down and see the stains upon his body, failing to cover the burning green light from the necklace on his chest. It was becoming all too real for the prince. Was he to die here today? Like this, in one fell swoop by his chaotic sister? He had done too little in his life; there was so much he had wanted to do. He had died without calming the beast, died without being able to destroy evil. He had failed Sakaki - the jade neckace's light was proof of that.
A brilliant light appeared in the distance, in the darkness that Leke now only saw. No, he thought. I don't want to go. I have so much left to do... Please, let me stay, he begged his own body and whatever gods there were. However, his body would not answer him, and if there were gods, they did not either. The light increased ever-so quickly, and soon became all that Leke could see. He felt himself slipping away, being pulled from his body. Father, mother, Ninjin... Akassa... he thought as no words would escape his lips. I'm sorry. This would be the teenager's last thought, last prayer. His eyes stared off into the distance, seeing nothing now, his body finally went limp and grew increasingly cold, and the last of his energy escaped his body.
Leke Hattori had passed on from this world.

Tsuyo and Leke had gotten in the way; it was as simple as that. Both of them had been warned to stand aside, to allow her to exact her revenge on Natisha, but neither had listened. Her father had even stood against her, attacking her with all of his unrestrained power so she had no choice beyond putting him down. Personally she would have preferred for him to live on so that he might see what it was that a true ruler consisted of. Akassa would be Queen in moments and then she would lead her people to the greatest age they had ever known. Tsuyo had spoken of sacrifices and how she did not understand what needed to be done for the greater good. How wrong he was, Akassa was prepared to sacrifice everything that was dear to her in order to do what she believed was right. Some might call it vengeance, but to the Princess it was justice.
Leke had not understood either, he called her a monster for what she had done to their father yet he had not been so angry when hearing of Akassa’s mother. Just like the rest of her family the young Hattori thought little of the human that had birthed Akassa’s; she was after all, not Saiyan. Enraged by the loss of his parent, her younger brother had charged her, taken action against her just like Natisha so he too needed to be dealt with. Lifting off in the direction of the Queen, she felt his signature fading even though she did not see what had happened to him after she released her kinetic blast. Like Tsuyo, his predicament was his own fault, a result brought about by his choosing. Perhaps if he had listened to her, believed the sister that had never wronged him then he might yet live. It was unfortunate another Hattori had fallen, but it was for the betterment of their people.
A small distance away Natisha had most likely seen everything unfold, the daughter she had always attempted to keep down and belittle ascending beyond anything the Hattori line had ever known. She saw Akassa take the life of Tsuyo and sequentially her youngest son. In the second it took for the Princess to reach the Queen she was about to succeed, Akassa wondered what the woman thought. Was she glad it had been Leke and not Ninjin? Probably, the wench had always favored her oldest brother. Another thought crossed her mind in that instant, had Ninjin known the whole time? They two had been so close for the better part of two decades; surely Natisha had shared the fate of his sister’s mother with him. The possibility of him having known only angers the Super Saiyan more, even without any solid facts to point either way. When he returned she would question him.
On a direct path for Natisha, golden aura streaking across the sky behind her Akassa had the strength to plow right through the woman, breaking every bone in her body, but she pulls up two feet short instead. Setting down gently, as if her rage had subsided, the half-saiyan’s eyes lock with her step mothers. While her landing had been graceful and controlled, her bright blue-green eyes reveal the rage still burning within her, hair whipping viciously in her radiant aura. This was what she had been waiting for, the woman responsible for everything that had happened this day stood before her. Had Natisha not been so selfish and petty those years ago three individuals would be alive today.
”I have never known such a weak individual whose hands are so stained. Tsuyo and Leke are just two more people you have sent to the grave; you realize this do you not?” Akassa wanted to rip the woman apart, but first she needed to realize what it is she had done. The Princess wished to let the actions of her life weigh on her so that in her last moments she might see how much she had hurt the ones she loved. Akassa was not one of those loved ones, but the Queen had stood by and watched while Tsuyo and Leke gave their lives for her. If she had only possessed the courage to face the punishment for her crimes, they might yet live. Standing across from the catalyst of all this destruction and object of her life’s torment, Akassa almost trembled with anticipation. Or perhaps it was the mounting rage she felt as she thinks of her father and brother, why couldn’t they have just stood aside?! Golden Ki flowed down her arm, once again forming her Ha-Ken as she stared down the Queen. There was no going back now, the new Queen of the Saiyan people would see this through.

The aura ripping the air around Akassa was something that many would be intimidated by but the Queen did not flinch or move. She would never give the half breed mutt the pleasure of knowing that she made her cower. No she would never dignify Akassa with a response. She had stood by and watched helplessly as Tsuyo, her husband and King of the New Vegeta, was felled by the daughter that he had fought so hard to keep. The fact that Leke had not returned to the side of his mother meant only dreadful things. Akassa more than likely took the life of her younger son in a brutal fashion. The mutt had destroyed everything that Natisha had worked so hard for in her life. Growing up in one of the noble houses she watched as the Hattori family ruled with a great grip. She had dreamed of someday ruling over the Saiyan race out of pride and it was then that she was introduced to Tsuyo. From there she fell for the massive Saiyan and several years later she was lucky enough to become married to the young prince at the time. When Tsuyo’s father passed away she forced Tsuyo to live up to what he had been raised to be. Then less than a year later Tsuyo came back to New Vegeta after a diplomatic with a child in hand….
The mutt Akassa.
After much fighting with the King she agreed to let Akassa remain in the castle and in the safety of the Hattori family. While Tsuyo had convinced Akassa to live in the castle Natisha’s wrath would be felt on the other person in that situation. Rebbec Vession would die at the hands of the Queen for daring to lie her grubby little hands on the King. Watching her convulse in pain as the poison took hold and crawl towards the door was more than paradise. She never realized that such a simple gesture would be able to please her so much. This wouldn’t teach Tsuyo though as he would continue being unfaithful. And using the Darksiders she would lure numerous whores to New Vegeta and watched as each one suffered from the same fate as Rebbec Vession. As for the bastards themselves while they were nothing more than infants Natisha would order the Darksiders to slit throats, and smash skulls of the vile offspring. The only one that she knew of that escaped her clutches was that of Nasu Nun who would have been quite a sight when she had him dragged back through the streets before have him publicly executed. That day would never come however as he would not die during her reign.
“Both Tsuyo and Leke’s deaths are on your hands. Everything single thing I have ever done was for the Saiyan people and furthering of the Hattori bloodline. You will bring nothing but chaos and war to the Saiyan people you stupid filthy mutt!” Natisha spat in disgust as her rage fueled her words with venom.

Standing before Natisha, the Super Saiyan shows unbelievable restraint. The woman before her was guilty of so much evil, the acts she had ordered in her short life enough to condemn a thousand souls to Hell. Leke and Ninjin would never understand the evil that was within their mother, something she had always done well to mask from the world. Everything had finally caught up to her though, soon she would answer for her crimes and there was no force in the Universe that could save her. What Akassa knew of the woman’s bloodstained past was more than enough for the Princess to execute her and she didn’t even know the half of it. When Akassa revealed to the rest of New Vegeta why she had taken action against the King and Queen, how many more might come forward with proof of Natisha’s foul deeds? Days before Nasu Nun…no Nasu Hattori had tried to warn her, but she had been too blind to see the truth. There would undoubtable be more, those that had remained hidden for fear of their own lives over the years. As Queen, Akassa would listen to them all so that even in death Natisha’s would not rest as crime after crime was written down under her name. To choose a path such as hers meant eternal damnation, there was no escaping ones fate.
With her bright eyes looking into the brown orbs of the woman Akassa prepared her left hand for the task soon to come. Golden energy swirled down the appendage, starting at where the artificial limb was fused to her shoulder. Spinning around her arm the Ki makes it way towards the tips of her fingers before beginning to collect. The first part of the gauntlet to take form was the tip of the pointed talons that would adorn her dexterous fingers when the weapon was complete. From there the energy began to solidify, forming the armor like substance as it wrapped its way up her fingers. Reaching her knuckles the energy expands, encasing her hand and lower forearm. While it enclosed her lower arm fully, the consistency of the Ki was not the same throughout her Ha-Ken. Beginning at the back of her hand and stretching to where the gauntlet ended at her elbow a greater concentration of Ki gathered than on the underside. With more energy packed into the small area it grew denser, more durable as it took shape. Originally the technique had been created to handle the swordplay of Ezekiel NeCross, but as she used it against others she realized just how powerful the gauntlets where. Not only could they block weapons, they also served a shield for Ki blasts, giving the headstrong Princess an incredibly mobile defensive technique. By the time Natisha had begun talking, a fraction of a second later, the gauntlet had already taken shape. Still Akassa did not lash out.
As furious as she was, the reaction to the Queen’s words were probably not what the woman had expected. In the past Natisha had always known how to get under her step daughters skin, how to aggravate her beyond belief with confidence the girl would say nothing back. Even now she attempted to blame the deaths of Leke and Tsuyo on her, when it was Natisha who had started all of this. Akassa’s hand may have slain them, but it was forced by the Queen’s. Instead of instantly lashing out at the woman or screaming in response, all the Princess did was grin. As the expression spread across her lips there was almost a moment of peace within her. Natisha could blame her all she wanted, for the woman must have realized she was doomed. Such words only sounded like a broken record of desperation, the Queen trying to put down the female that was so obviously her superior one last time.
”No one will remember you as anything more than a murderous whore Natisha, I will make sure of it.” With no warning beyond her words Akassa’s right arm snaps up. The talons of her Ha-ken lead the way as they dive into Natisha’s abdomen. Barely having to use a fraction of her immense strength Akassa plunges them in, her hand following as the gauntlet is soon palm deep into the woman’s torso. With ease like that of a parent lifting their new born she lifts the Queen into the air, her clawed fingers caught up under her rib cage. The sharp points of her fingers would shred everything in their way before ripping into Natisha’s lungs. Holding her aloft Akassa heard her coughing, the wench’s lifeblood running down her successor’s metal arm. The contrast of the red against the mostly clean white of her arm drew her attention for a moment, a small grin still on her face. During the war council Natisha had smirked at the artificial limb, did she still find it so amusing?

It was just a flash. That was all that Natisha’s eyes could pick up as Akassa lurched forward. It was then that the pain roared through her body like a train through a tunnel. She felt the insides of her stomach begin to be forcibly turned into mush. She felt piercing pain scratch and claw away at the inside contents of her stomach. Whatever had happened she could feel claws piercing through the top of her large intestine, up through her liver before sinking into her lungs. Blood immediately burst from her stomach in an explosive fashion as her body was lifted into the air. It was at this point through wide eyes that she was able to at least comprehend was going on.
Akassa’s hand was submerged inside of the Queen’s stomach and could feel her fingers now slowly compressing on her lungs. These were her final moments of her life and while her life did flash before her eyes with all the great memories and the horrid ones. It was not enough to drag the Queen away from what she was staring at. Akassa had destroyed the Hattori household and now threatened to ride the universe of the strongest bloodline that ran in it today. She may have achieved her vengeance here today but she would only see destruction in her future. Natisha saw it because while she was ruthless she preferred to stick to the shadows where she could rule effectively. This mutt would no doubt rule through intimidation and abuse in order to make the Saiyans bend knee. She would start dozens of wars with this approach and would cost the Saiyans everything they had gained over the last century or so. The army would dwindle away, the economy would crash as more planets refused to do business with her, and the Saiyans quality of life would drop. This was what lay ahead for the illegitimate queen of the race that Natisha once took pride her.
Fighting back growing coughs Natisha began to spit up blood as her lungs began to fill. At this point the pain had already subsided and the cold began to set in. First it came from her toes and then her fingers. Gradually it would continue to crawl up her body until it reached her head and her vision began to blur. With the last ounces of strength Natisha forced out two words just audible enough to hear by Akassa.
“Filthy…mutt….” Natisha spoke just before spitting all the blood that was in her mouth into Akassa’s face. Once these two things were done Natisha’s head would fall limp and her eyes fell shut as her heartbeat came to a stop. The once great queen that was loved by the soldiers in the Saiyan army now hung limply on Akassa’s arm. While most of her secrets would be hidden from the eyes of most everyone Akassa was perhaps the only person that would be able to find them. All of her orders that were given to the Darksiders from simple spy missions, to assassinations, to the debauchery that the Queen partook in with dealing with Tsuyo’s mistresses and his bastards still lay in their archives waiting for the ruler of New Vegeta to find them.
Some might call it a fitting end to such a nasty and devilish character but it is in a way sad. Her actions while unjust and violent were in fact originated from a place that only wanted to see the utmost for her family. She fought in the most extreme fashions in order to make sure that they received nothing but the best and that anyone from the outside may try to take it was severely punished. This was where the Queen’s actions derived from. But in the end it does not matter as her image, flawed and all, now lay in the hands of the universe to make up their minds about her. There was one simple absolute fact.
Natisha Hattori’s reign as High Queen of the Saiyan Kingdom had come to an end along with her moment on this mortal plane.

Holding Natisha in the air Akassa made sure to meet the woman’s eyes as she died, choking on her own blood. While she had not enjoyed any part of taking her father and brother’s life, she had to admit there was something about finally giving Natisha what she deserved that felt so very pleasing. Behind the Super Saiyan her golden tail twitched with excitement as the Queen gasped futilely for breath in an attempt to draw air into her shredded lungs. This was all Akassa had wanted from the beginning, to repay Natisha for what she had done to so many others. Raising her arm higher the dying Queen rose with it, slumped over the Princess’s hand as she held her aloft.
Her bloodied lips attempted to move, trying to say something to her executioner. Cocking her head slightly to the side Akassa tries to make them out, the gargling of her blood making the words hard to discern.
“Filthy…mutt…” The Queen then spitting in her direction. The grin Akassa wore did not fade at the overused insult. How often had she called her that over the years? Countless times to be sure and rarely had anyone else in the family batted an eyelash at the insult even though she was partially of their blood. Tsuyo had occasionally cut the Queen off, but that was only so that the two would not argue and diverge from the topic at hand. The words meant nothing now. Having ascended to heights unknown in millennia she was quite clearly not a filthy mutt. The opposite really as she was now the Queen of the Saiyan people. As for the blood that the wench had spat, it never even touches Akassa’s face. The liquid came close, but the raging aura that surrounded her dissolved it into nothingness before it ever made contact.
So fitting for Natisha’s end to come in such a pathetic way. She had always been weak, hiding behind the rest of the family and in her last moments she hadn’t been able to do anything to prevent her own demise. Leke, as inexperienced as he was, had at least attempted to assault his sister as ill fated as an attempt it was. With the Queen’s body finally slumping over her extended arm Akassa was glad she was gone from this world, she had lived longer than a creature such as herself should have as it was.
With a gentle snap of her arm she tosses the body aside, Natisha’s corpse rolling through the dirt before coming completely still. Rolling her neck slowly Akassa stood alone now, the object of her torment lying broken at her feet. In the distance, towards the edges of the royal compound she felt the presence of others, a few of the higher ranking military members that had dared to draw that close. ”Guards!” Akassa yells out, for all in the military were not solely devoted to her, her powerful voice carrying across the battlefield. As they drew closer in response to her call she slowly let the grin on her face disappear. As the new ruler of New Vegeta there was work to be done. (PL please and oh yeah…the Moon!)
