Soaring through the air over the compound it only took Akassa a dozen seconds to reach the structure that now housed the King and Queen, yet so much crossed her mind.
Months ago she had hired Briar to locate her mother, instructing him that she wished to know the woman’s location on matter where it might be. When stating that she had meant she would pay for him to travel the stars if need be to find her, never had she thought his search would bring him back to her own home. In her twenty one years the Princess had learned little of her mother, the only real information beyond her newly discovered name was that she had at one time called the Earth home, that bit provided to her by her own father. Little did Tsuyo know that Natisha had never allowed the woman to take her leave of the planet after Akassa’s birth. That wench had instead had the woman killed, murdered simply for spending a night with the King. Regardless of one’s station or rank that was by no means the grounds to have someone executed and that is exactly what Natisha had done.
Never having been overly fond of her step mother the Princess had been even more fed up with her as of late, tired of her endless attempts to belittle or chastise Akassa. No matter what she did the Queen was always the first to point out how she might have done it better or that Ninjin might have performed the same task with ease. Some could argue that it was only to help Akassa grow stronger, point out her flaws so that she could improve and become the better warrior for it. If anyone thought that then they did not know the type of woman Natisha was. She was the Queen of New Vegeta, the second most powerful individual on the planet, but she was also a petty, jealous, scheming wench.
For years Akassa had taken all her comments and smirks in silence, always wanting to stay above the woman’s level and for the sake of her father. Whether it was Akassa’s lack of resistance or the fact the Queen was growing more uncomfortable with the eldest Hattori child’s growing power, Natisha had become much bolder as of late. When she had entered the war council tent the bitch had actually smiled at the dismemberment of the Princess, taking joy in the fact a cold mechanical limb had taken the place of Akassa’s left arm. Then, despite what Natisha had said, the Queen had made sure Akassa was to remain behind while Ninjin and Celeh were sent to attack the Universal Church of One. Supposedly the King was in agreement, and perhaps he was, but she knew that viper’s words had poisoned his mind. Natisha had played her game for many years, often playing it well…no longer.
With all too fresh memories of how Natisha had treated her Akassa lands outside the door to the hall. Usually the Princess touched down gently and with surprising grace considering her brutish fighting style, but this time she slams down, boots digging into the ground as she slides to a stop. Several feet from the door Akassa stomps forward with her silver aura still flaring around her. The pair had no doubt sensed her coming, but she didn’t care, the subject of her visit was not going to change one way or another. Reaching for the door she shoves it open, forgetting her own strength as the portal swings violently inwards.
”Father!”

The healers of New Vegeta had one task to perform and they worked diligently. Not a single person wanted to state that they were responsible for failing the task that was beset by the Queen. The job was simple, heal the King of the Saiyans. Not a single healer slept until just hours ago, they were all trying to isolate the strain of poison that had been used. They had gone through hundreds of different poisons ruling each out strange concoctions that had only ever appeared once in recorded history. Eventually they were able to identify it as a semi rare poison originating from a moon in a nearby system. While it was not rare it was not often used which made it tricky to trace however it was easy to cure once it was discovered. The healers were actually surprised as it is not a poison that is highly lethal but rather something to severely impair its victim, meaning that the attackers on New Vegeta wanted the King to suffer rather than outright die.
The King, being possibly the strongest his race had ever seen since its rebirth, was quick to recover once an antidote had been administered. He spent roughly ten hours straight in one of the few remaining healing tanks with the antidote being pumped into his veins. Now only three short hours after finally emerging he was almost back to one hundred percent with his body aching more than anything else. At the current moment he was being briefed on the situation throughout the kingdom as the Queen stands by the side. The King as if by second nature began delivering edicts to secure various aspects of the Saiyan culture from defense, to rebuilding the destruction that was inflicted, and the need to reach out to various other dignitaries around the galaxy. As it stood it had become apparent that the Saiyans would not be able to turn to Earth leaving them with few other strong options. The one that weighed on his mind as a potentially potent leader to turn to was the one he knew the least about, Prometheus Zex. He had the wealth and the man power that would allow for rapid rebuilding. He would have to come to a conclusion soon but before he could Akassa burst into the smaller hall in a rage. Her temper had always been short but now it had begun to become an annoyance as she was starting to step outside of etiquette. Based on the sight of his daughter the King turned to the aids in the hall that were helping with the recovery and dismissed them with a wave of his hand. Once they all filed out all that was left was Natisha, the Queen of New Vegeta, his enraged daughter and himself.
“What do you want Akassa? You break proper etiquette to make a statement but it better be something important.” The King growled with his normal power. He was no longer the weak being that sat on the chair and watches weakly during the war council a few days ago.

On her way Akassa had sensed her father’s renewed strength, once again sporting the power that he was famous for. Natisha and others were with him in the hall, the aides no doubt tending to his every whim. While Tsuyo was a powerful man and always an independent one he still enjoyed the service of others. All of the Hattori’s received such attention from those that served them and after he had been poisoned the King had been the main focus of all the help that had survived, even taking them away from the Queen’s side if need be. Completely aware of the etiquette that was expected of her in the presence of others, even those in the palace, Akassa knew better than to approach the way she did. In the Princess’ younger years she had been taught to act appropriately and always play the proper daughter she was supposed to be. The reason for her rude arrival was not that she had forgotten to approach with the proper respect; it was that at the moment she didn’t care too.
Practically stomping as she enters the hall Akassa made no effort to move out of the way as the attendants fled. Many of them had worked for the crown for some time and knew it was best to make yourself scarce when a Hattori was in a foul mood, never mind two of them. Heading straight for the King and Queen the others carefully moved around her, not wanting to be in her path. Eyes going to her father first before shifting over to the wench that he had taken as a wife the Princess did not miss the anger in her father’s tone. His obvious displeasure did not slow her for a second as she approaches them, Akassa wondering where he might direct his rage when she explained why she had come to speak with him. Pulling her glare from Natisha she returns her attention to the King, wasting no more time as she speaks.
”Rebbec Vession.” Akassa blurted out the name of her biological mother, quite confident that both of them knew who the woman was. Pausing for a moment to make sure that sunk in she would continue. ”That is the name of my human mother, the woman who birthed me and I was always told had been exiled to Earth. I know you thought this to be true as well father, but the truth is she never even left New Vegeta some twenty one years ago.” Hearing her own voice rising a little Akassa takes a breath in an attempt to control her temper, eyes shifting over to Natisha as she continues. ”The reason she never left the moon was because she was murdered, and the order to carry out this crime was given by none other than you Natisha. Do not try and deny this for I have grown quite tired of your lies.”
Not looking away from the Queen now Akassa already heard her own voice raising in volume again, the Princess not able to restrain all of the anger pent up inside of her. To her credit though she had not hit the woman yet, planning on letting this be done the proper way. ” Murder of an innocent civilian is a crime no matter who commits it. I demand she answer for this father, no one here is above the law, not even her.” Always short and to the point Akassa had said her piece, now it was up to her father to carry out the sentence.

Rebbec Vession, a woman that he had seen only a few times in his entire life. She was just a young woman on Earth that the Saiyan king had run into. The two had bonded over drinks and she found herself in his chambers for a very long night. It would not be until later when the king returned to Earth for another diplomatic conference that Rebbec Vession approached Tsuyo. It was then that he met his eldest child, Akassa, and that she begged him to take her back to New Vegeta. She claimed that Akassa would be able to live a better life there than she could ever provide for her. Tsuyo would eventually relent and allow the young child to return with him, where she would be introduced to Natisha who demanded her death immediately. It was a topic that was off limits to his daughter and she knew this. His anger bubbled a bit due to the fact that she had gone against his orders. Before Tsuyo was able to stop his wife from speaking her vitriol for his daughter had gotten the better of her.
“Rebbec Vession did not belong on New Vegeta much like you do not deserve the right to wear the Hattori colors. Something you continue to forget by refusing to recolor your hair.” Natisha spat in disgust. “Beside the fact that a simple whore is dead you seem to forget that you are far out of line. I am the Queen of New Vegeta, I am the second most powerful being in this kingdom and you should do well to remember that. I am the law, I am the courts and I am the judges. No one judges me! Not a prince! Not a diplomat! And especially not to a half breed mutt who has received more than she deserves!” The Queen was in no mood to deal with her husband’s bastard daughter. After everything that had happened to their homes she had the audacity to try and make this a problem. She would have none of it. “I have allowed you to leech off our hospitality out of honor to my husband. I fed you, clothed you, let you sleep in our home and even allowed you to assume positions of influence that few ever receive. And now you go behind your father’s back, disobeying a direct order, only to accuse your superior of something she has no comprehension of.”
“That is enough Natisha,” the King interrupted with a wave of his hand. “This conversation is over.”
“No this is not over. I am tired of you turning a blind eye to your daughter. She is nothing more than scum in royal’s clothing. Rebbec Vession deserved to die for what she did and now her body rots in the ground. Justice has been served and we should not have to apologize for it. This world is better off without another weak human whore in it.” Natisha spat. The Queen’s words were sharpened and meant to tear down Akassa as they always had over the years. She did not deserve to be in the castle much less the family.

Akassa’s felt how warm her face was getting as the Queen rambled on, the flushness of her cheeks a result of anger, not embarrassment. She had dealt with this woman for far too long and the lack of respect that Natisha showed her was getting old. In the past she had always backed down from the woman mainly because she respected the chain of command and her father, but this was too far. The King and Queen did rule New Vegeta, but they were not above its laws no matter how Natisha felt. For centuries the royal line had ruled and served the Saiyan people, but with honesty and integrity. Akassa’s grandfather, an honorable man who had lived only a handful of years after her birth had told her much about the honor of having royal blood in your veins. Although only half-saiyan Akassa had taken those words to heart and based her code of honor off of them. As her grandfather’s son, Tsuyo had to understand the gravity of what Natisha had done and how it might stain the family name.
”You have allowed me to remain in the family?! How dare you say those words to me, name me a mutt when I have more royal blood in my veins than you! You may be Queen, but that is only through my father’s good graces. All this power you yield is because he allows it. If it were not for his last name Natisha you would be nothing more than a common street walker, a position I believe you are well fitted for! I on the other hand have given my entire life for New Vegeta and the Hattori family, never have I done anything that might hurt either! The only reason our people still draw breath is because I stood before Aer Nin alongside my brother. You on the other hand fled like the spineless creature you are. It is easy to spout words and give orders from behind a line of soldiers, but that is the limit of your capabilities wench. As an individual you are nothing!” Akassa’s voice rose without care now, years of anger finally bubbling over at the Queen’s response to the accusation. Tsuyo had said the conversation was over, but it was far from it. The Princess was not going to leave this room until justice was served.
”Direct anything you want at me Natisha, but it will not change the subject of this conversation. I have witnesses that you were the one responsible for Rebbecc Vession’s death and I will call on them if it is needed. You will not escape answering for your crime!” Knowing she was going to get nowhere with the woman Akassa turns back to the King trusting that her father knew he could trust her.
”Father, I know I disobeyed your orders, but I have never been anything other than faithful to this family. I come to you with the truth of what she has done so please, I implore you, make her answer for her crimes. The honor of the Hattori name is worth more than anyone of us, we cannot allow it to be sullied by the actions of one. I will accept any punishment you might have for me without complaint, but she too must answer for what she has done.” Through a mask of anger Akassa’s eyes plead with her father to understand and to trust her in the way she has always trusted him.

The half breed mutt had the audacity to talk to her like she was below her. Akassa did not understand that it was by the Queen’s graces that she had even been granted her cushy life in the palace. She could have been tossed out on the street to fend for herself at a mere few months old but the King convinced to allow his daughter to live amongst them even though she did not deserve to do so. In fact she was the first bastard to be welcomed into the Saiyan court but she seemed to forget about this. She demanded respect where there was none deserved.
“What crime has occurred? What witnesses do you have? How are you so sure that you were not lied to? You could have been fed lies by an enemy of the Saiyan throne for the simple fact of sowing chaos. If you could be so blind to trust something that was spouted off by some hired halfwit then you do of your own father.” Natisha spat. “And you will be smart to remember that no bastard child has ever donned the Hattori name and been allowed to live in this castle! It was only through my good graces that you were allowed to do that! Many ridiculed your father for his decision that broke that tradition and yet both your father and I stood firm. You were allowed to live here, you had no right to any claim!” Natisha yelled back at her husband’s bastard daughter.
“ENOUGH!” Tsuyo’s voice roared throughout the hall. It was one of the things that made the King’s presence so demanding. He was able to silence a room in a single bellow and draw all eyes to him. Not all Saiyan kings had had that ability. There were many pitiful Hattori kings that the family chose not to talk about but Tsuyo and his father were seen as bringing strength back to the throne after many miserable reigns. The King looked at his wife and then his daughter. He knew that neither liked each other but both were far out of order.
“I will not have this in my court! You both will shut your mouths and listen to me!” The King roared. “You both are out of line! The Queen should not be arguing with a Princess!” Tsuyo said as he turned towards his wife. “She is my daughter. She will be treated with the respect of a living creature and not some sewer rat that you seem to think she is. She has paid the price for protecting her home and she was ready to give so much more!” Tsuyo hissed causing Natisha to remain silent as she watched her husband speak. It was then that he would turn to Akassa.
“Akassa I do not know what has gotten into you lately but you disrespect not only Natisha but also myself by your actions. I have raised you better than this and expect more of you. I understand your rage as you are my flesh and blood and we share the same rage. But you have gone beyond your position now. Demanding judgments be handed down is not how things are handled and you know this. I am the law and dictate who is prosecuted under it,” The King reprimanded. “In respects to your mother I will only say this. I know everything that occurs within the kingdom and no order is given without my knowledge. Being a leader means making sacrifices. Unfortunately sometimes those sacrifices hit close to home. If you do not understand this, after all of these years than you truly are not mature enough than you do you belong in the court yet.” Tsuyo said with a disappointed tone in his voice. He would turn back to the table to examine the maps in front of him again.
“I will speak no more on this subject. You are dismissed.”

Akassa was ready to lay right back into the Queen. She had only gone along with the King’s decision; she had no true power over him. He had wanted Akassa to stay because she was a Hattori, it was that simple. Opening her mouth to yell the Princess does not get the chance, her father’s deafening voice cutting the both of them off. At first she began to smile as it seemed Tsuyo was coming to her defense, letting Natisha have it for how she spoke to her. That of course was only half of what he had to say, the King soon turning his attention to her. Swallowing some she felt a little embarrassed as he states his disappointment in her. Already preparing to apologize to her father the Princess was completely caught off guard when he speaks of her mother.
She couldn’t breathe. Tsuyo couldn’t have stolen her breath more effectively with a punch to the gut. Dropping to her knees Akassa felt sick, her signature dropping back down to its base level, aura disappearing. How could he have known about the order and not stopped it? What sacrifice was it that he had to make by taking the life of an innocent woman? After his words he so easily turned away from her, physically turning his back on the daughter that he said should be treated with respect.
In her years Akassa had suffered countless injuries, but nothing had ever cut her as deeply as her father’s words did now. Despair welled up inside of her, the man she had held above all others dealing the Princess a devastating blow. She had done so much for the Hattori family…and it had betrayed her from the very beginning. How could he have known about this and done nothing to stop it? Rage began to take the place of despair, Akassa’s main defense mechanism starting to take over. Anytime she had felt pain the Princess’s reaction was anger, drowning out all other emotions to force herself forward. So many times she had exhausted herself in a rage filled training session after being openly disrespected by Natisha. Never before though had she felt such anger towards her father, then again never before had he hurt her in such a way.
Still on her knees Akassa’s hands clench into fists, knuckles turning white and mechanical hinges straining under the pressure. Spiking back up to her full power the silver aura that had moments before disappeared was awarded new life. Jaw clenching tightly as the rest of her body tenses she wanted to scream, but no words escaped her bared teeth. Trembling some as her muscles strained to contain the raw emotions that tore through her Akassa’s power spikes for a moment, rocketing up above her normal fully power level. With the spike came a flash of gold through her dark locks, pupils vanishing for a moment as the half-saiyan struggles to reign in her anger.
Although she rested on her knees in the presence of the King and Queen, Akassa’s mind was far from New Vegeta. Unable to form a response to his words her mind ran wild, jumbled thoughts running through her head until one memory stood out.
Family…
The Princess was only four years old and even though her military training had already started she was still a child. She could picture the green grass of the palace training grounds as clear as if she was standing upon them now. Off to the side she could hear a much younger Ninjin laughing some as he sat in the grass with Natisha, the Queen actually tickling him. It was an odd scene, the royal family spending a little bit of time together out in the Sun, Tsuyo himself even present. Akassa’s brown eyes watched as the Queen and her eldest brother played in the warm sunshine, the woman even then having wanted nothing to do with the half-blooded child of the King. At that time in her life the Princess had already started to get used to the cold shoulder she always received from the woman. Watching the two her eyes shift up as a large shadow passed over her form.
Tsuyo stood over her with his massive frame blocking the burning Sun, the Princess smiling up at his imposing figure. He stood in silence as he looked down at her, the powerful warrior’s thoughts a mystery to all but himself. With the joyful exchange between Natisha and Ninjin still well within ear shot Akassa remembered asking her father a question.
”Father, where is my mother?” From that young age, even younger, Akassa had known Natisha was not her real mother, but she had never really given much thought to where her biological one was. The question was an innocent one, a young girl curious as to what had happened to the woman she had never met.
Tsuyo, same stoic expression plastered on his face, said nothing for a moment. His pause had Akassa wondering if she had worded the question incorrectly or thinking it might have been something she was not supposed to ask. Several seconds later though her father turns and point to the second orb visible in the sky, Earth. “You mother is a human Akassa. She lives on Earth.” Turning to follow his pointing arm Akassa would smile again at the not so distant world, wondering what it might be like to travel there one day and meet her. Maybe she could spend time with her on a day such as this, just like Ninjin and Natisha.
The memory was of course before she came to realize that was something she was not going to be allowed to do and something that was in fact impossible. Still she remembered her father’s words that day. “You mother is a human Akassa. She lives on Earth.” Of course what she didn’t remember, because she had not noticed it, was the small smirk Natisha had cast her way upon overhearing Tsuyo’s answer. The Queen had known it to be a lie.
The memory did nothing but enrage the Princess more, the special moment now tainted by the fact it had been a lie. Akassa had always remembered those words, one of the few times Tsuyo had ever spoken of her mother. When she was but a child he had lied to her, fed her false truths simply to cover his own faults.
Chest heaving, loud breaths escaping her mouth, Akassa had still not spoken. The only sound that came from her was the grunt like breaths that came through gritted teeth. Her power spiked again, another flash of yellow accompanying it as her body strained more. While this hall had survived mostly undamaged from the attack on New Vegeta it had been shaken, various pieces of stone and a noticeable amount of dust having fallen from its ceiling to the floor. Around the Princess those pieces began to raise, the power radiating from her lifting them into the air around her kneeling form. Yet again her soft brown eyes go white, black hair taken over by golden strands that actually held for a moment before returning to their natural color. If Tsuyo or Natisha tried to speak to her, she did not hear it. A combination of emotion and memories blocked her mind from the outside world.
…Liars…
A second memory flashed across her mind, this one far more recent then the first. Akassa was in the throne room, the very throne room that had been leveled during the fight with Aer Nin. Others where present as well Ninjin, Leke, Celeh, Tsuyo, Natisha and even Truffle there for the meeting. It had been days before the Galactic Tournament was to begin and all of them had been called to the throne room by the King. He had ordered them all to enter the tournament and do their best to win in it in the name of New Vegeta and the royal family. Akassa had just requested, that when she won, she be granted the honor of finally wearing the family colors in full. Having a set of armor similar to Ninjin or even Leke’s had always been a goal of her and this tournament was a chance to earn it. Akassa again remembered her father’s words.
“If you win the entire tournament I will consider granting that request.” Tsuyo spoke in a very stern voice. “But only if you win the entire tournament. Any less and do not bother asking to do so.” The man’s voiced echoed in the large ornate room. Natisha had of course immediately argued against it, but Tsuyo had stood firm.
“And Akassa is still a Hattori despite her genetics.” Tsuyo responded as he turned his head to his lovely wife. “She will receive one chance to prove that she is indeed worthy of wearing such colors.” His voice did not waiver and shot Akassa one final look that confirmed his statement. He was done with the conversation and now waited to see if he was needed.
She had lost the tournament so she had never had a chance to see if his words were true. Based on what she knew now…she doubted it. That tournament had not been so long ago, Akassa 21 years of age and still as loyal as ever to her family. She had wanted to win that tournament, and even when she had lost to Ninjin she had wanted him to win only to see the Hattori name honored. How foolish she had been, to want to honor a family that cared so little for her.
…Murderers
Two decades she had served and loved a family that would never love her in return. Now this…this couldn’t stand…would not stand. She had come to her father seeking punishment for the crimes Natisha had committed only to find he was just as guilty as her. Another flicker of yellow passed through her hair.
"COWAAAAARRRRRRRRRRD!” Unleashing the anger within her in a scream of pure rage, the insult was most likely lost to the King and Queen as it became hard to distinguish the word within her scream. Feet and shins pressing off the ground Akassa raises to her feet as she yells. Akassa was strong, but she could only take so much and she had been pushed past her limit. Somewhere within the Princess something snapped and as a result a torrent or power flowed forth, a power unlike any other since the founding of New Vegeta.
Now on her feet, arms outstretched to the side as she continues to scream, a shockwave of energy blasts out from her form. The burst of power causes the air to ripple as the dust around the room obscures her for a moment, but a second wave of raw power was quick to disperse the cloud. Standing at the center of the storm stood Akassa, yet she was not the same woman she had been moments before. The silver aura that had surrounded her now matched the gold of Tsuyo’s armor, the golden flame dancing around her slender frame. The Princess’ once neatly styled hair had ripped free of the pins that held it down, her long locks waving back and forth with the power that radiated from her. The dye however remained, the dark red hair standing out even more against the golden color that had now taken over.
Body surging with power Akassa levels a glare at the King and Queen, sharp blue eyes unwavering as she stares them down. The Princess had reached a level that had not been obtained in over 1000 years. Akassa Hattori had become a Super Saiyan.

Congratulations on reaching 100,000 power level and receiving a proper emotional trigger. As such as staff member of Dragon Ball Awakening I grant upon you the form of Super Saiyan. Congratulations upon reaching this level first.
I would also like to congratulate on another achievement that was unbeknownst to you. Back at the beginning of the year a single Saiyan was selected to become the famed 'Legendary Super Saiyan'. It is with great pleasure that I announce that you have been selected as this Saiyan. You are the Saiyan that is like no others, you are legendary.
This will not change the appearance of your first form, however it will grant onto you a higher modifier of x12 instead of x11. The rest of the transformation set will be posted shortly.
Congratulations once again upon reaching this level.

The conversation was over and there was nothing more to it. Tsuyo was not happy with the situation one bit. He expected unity and cohesion during this time when the kingdom was suffering instead he had two of the people closest to him fighting like cats and dogs. The crown needed to present itself as a unified front not some kind of circus with squabbling monkeys. That was what the war council had been about but that did not seem to sink in with the two females so close to the king. No doubt Natisha would revel in the beauty of having his daughter be taken down a notch and even threatened to be removed from the court but it was not done out of measure to please his wife. Akassa had disobeyed a direct order and information that he had hoped would never come to light emerged. Ruling over a kingdom requires a leader to make tough choices and ones that no other person could hope to imagine. It was one of the things that his children did not seem to understand, which made none of them ready to rule, was that there is a bigger picture to everything and that is what you must play to. Not to the small events that only had short term results. Suddenly he felt a power spike behind him as a majority of the items on the table were sent flying. Tsuyo’s guard immediately rose as he turned. Could the Church be making another attack? No, this power was literally right behind him. Who was it then? All he caught from his eye as he turned was a flash of yellow. His arm snapped in front of him as to cover his eyes as he caught Natisha doing the same. When he opened them standing where Akassa once was, was something different. The energy that radiated off of her was like nothing he had ever felt before. The look in her eye, the way her breathing was and her clenched fists. The girl was set to kill and could no longer contain her rage. What had she become? Tsuyo could not figure it out as it became clear that she was no longer his daughter. She was a monster.
“Akassa! Stand down! I will have none of this in my court!” Tsuyo commanded as he readied himself for any possible outcome. He needed to calm her down or this kind of power was more than likely to kill her. He had seen his father try to push his body farther than any Saiyan had been since their birth and it left him greatly weakened for the final few years of his life. It was after this that Tsuyo realized that he was at the height of their power as anything above it would surely just kill the user. Despite the stern appearance he would not allow the glimmer of concern for his daughter appear to what his daughter had become. He must be a leader now and a father second. His race depended on it.
“Akassa stand down!”

The second full-blooded heir to the throne sat awake on his bed, eyes closed and mind at ease as his ki fluctuated. It was something that had been shown to Leke by monks before but he had put aside until his true nature had been revealed to him. His destiny called for him to make decisions different than he had in the past, but now more naturally. So today, he meditated and was surprisingly at ease. The prince found he liked his peaceful meditation and how he could feel his energy flowing through every bit of his body. In a way, he felt at peace, even in a time of war.
His train of thought was interrupted as he felt a gargantuan level of power erupt from the council chambers, nearly knocking the prince over in his current state. Almost immediately thereafter, the whole building shook, dust falling from Leke's ceiling. Leke could only look with fear-filled and wide open eyes as he put together who owned this unimaginable power.
Akassa. Leke gulped, wondering what in the H.F.I.L. happened to her. He had never felt a power, this power that surpassed all others he had seen by tenfold at least, even beyond the level of energy that his father had once displayed to the kids when they were younger. Not only that, but the amulet stretched across his chestThe fourteen-year-old's entire body shook as a familiar feeling bubbled in his body, one he felt a few days ago when the Church attacked New Vegeta. A sickening foreboding about what could happen if things went wrong, like then and now.
Leke, shaking as he was, needed to know what was going on. Despite his weak power, he still would have to go investigate, go find his half-sister. Something seemed off about her power, even weirder than the insane amount of it. It didn't feel like her usual self. Something changed in her. The prince grimaced and collected himself. His sister wouldn't hurt him... Right? Somehow, that didn't make him feel any better.
Looking down at his amulet, he saw a soft glow of green that usually didn't happen in the palace. Leke just hoped it wasn't glowing because of Akassa. She couldn't be evil that the jade necklace would want stopped. No way. The young teenager hurriedly, as to not leave any more time to doubt himself, jumped off of his bed and exited his room, on the way to the council. Ascending to his full power to get the most speed as possible, he blasted off to the main throne room, where he could now finally sense both his mother and father next to Akassa's massive power level. Something had to have happened in there to set her off, to cause whatever happened to her. They were not fighting... Yet. Leke quickly neared the throne room, the living quarters not being too far from it, but still was a small flight through the hallways away.
He just hoped that he would not be too late when he arrived.

Cold blue eyes met Tsuyo’s as he turned to face his daughter. Seconds before he had turned his back on her, dismissing her like some commoner. Now he had the audacity to try and give her an order. The Princess’s signature stood solidly over 1.3 million and he thought he had the power to demand she stand down? Akassa had no intention of suppressing the godlike power that now flowed through her. Tsuyo and Natisha had committed a crime against her and New Vegeta. They would no longer be able to hide behind the lies that had protected them for years, hid the awful truth of what they truly were. If the King thought his daughter a monster simply because of the power she now wielded, what did that make him? If given the option to be labeled as a monster or coward, Akassa would choose monster every time.
Golden aura pulsing around her Akassa couldn’t help but sport a small smirk at the ascended state she had reached. History books she had read talked about the incredible power that her ancestors had once wielded. While some of the texts were accounts of the history of Earth and the troubles it had suffered, she had found it hard to believe they had not been exaggerated. Humans had a tendency to elaborate their tales, no doubt a trait developed to compensate for their lack of natural power. All the humans she had met had been weak, these stories designed to embellish the truth on purpose so that the race might look better than it was. Akassa was sure her ancestors had been powerful, but the legendary feats written about in the old books were most likely far from the truth. However, the power she now possessed was not made up, it was real. Every cell in her body pulsed with the energy that was her Super Saiyan form. Such power was the greatest thing that the Hattori family had experienced and she had no intention of letting it go to waste.
”Stand down? How dare you say those words to me! That same statement would have saved the life of an innocent woman 21 years ago! You only choose to say them now because you fear what stands before you…you truly are a coward Tsuyo. A coward…does not deserve to lead our people!” The Princess had been close to the edge when she had come to confront the King and Queen, more than ready to slap Natisha around for the crime Akassa had initially pinned on her. While her transformation had unlocked the potential that lay hidden within her, it had also amplified her already unstable emotions. Tsuyo and Natisha had wronged her for her entire life and they would pay for it. Akassa had never wanted the throne, nor had she wanted to hurt a member of her family, but at the moment she wanted revenge. She would have it.
A battle cry was the only warning Tsuyo would receive as Akassa launches herself towards him, the Super Saiyan’s bukujutsu propelling her towards him at blinding speed. Even with her golden aura trailing behind her the enraged Princess’s movement was near impossible to track with the naked eye. To those observing it would seem as if she had teleported across the room, going straight for her father. In that same instant her right arm would have cocked back, a golden Ha-Ken forming around her hand and forearm. Once within range of her cowardly King, Akassa’s arm swings forward, aiming a vicious right hook for his jaw. The combination of her speed and strength promised that the punch was going to hurt, deadly to anyone she knew, save maybe the King himself if he managed to react in time. Should the blow connect, and she had every reason to think it would, the Princess would then pivot in the air. Extending her left arm as she spins, Akassa aims a vicious backhand for the nearby Queen. Natisha was so incredibly weak that she knew a closed fist wasn’t even need, the backhand more than enough to take the bitch’s life.

Words spilled out of Akassa’s mouth as if she knew what she was talking about. She had no idea what it was like to sit on the throne and to lead millions of people. He made hundreds of choices daily that effected specific people or the entire populace. He was the man who decided to go to war which sacrificed countless lives on both sides. Now his daughter called him a coward for deciding that the solidarity of the Saiyan society was that of a single life. He would have done the same if he had to make the choice and his brother. He would have done so. His children did not truly understand what a leader had to do and it infuriated him that they did not seem to grasp this. And then to call him a coward and that he did not deserve to lead the Saiyan people.
He made up his mind half way through the rant as to what to do. His daughter was threatening the safety of the Saiyan kingdom and the Saiyan race by trying to maintain power such as this on top of essentially stating that she was going to remove him from the throne. Before she could finish her speech Tsuyo’s power would shoot up to maximum demonstrating that the Saiyan king would not lie down and let his power mad daughter make decisions that were beyond her post.
“A coward?! How dare you speak to me like that! I am Tsuyo, King of the…” Tsuyo started however was unable to finish as Akassa roared forward and landed a punch to the side of his face. He was forced backwards as the momentum carried his daughter with him. She had thrown the first blow, she had turned her back on the throne, and she would pay the price for this. He had more battle instinct then the young female could hope to ever have as he had fought in countless wars throughout his life. Pivoting on his foot he would wrap his arms around Akassa’s energy covered arm, flip her over his hip and toss her away from him. He was unsure of how far she might actually travel so in order to make sure this fight found a new home Tsuyo’s hand would shoot up immediately and fire an energy beam. The attack was not meant to kill her, merely damage her and force her out of the hall. Natisha was only fuel to the fire of his daughter and would only get in the way of this fight. If Akassa wanted to fight then she would fight Tsuyo not the Queen. After the beam attack was fired he would charge forward with energy gathering in his fists. He would barrage his daughter with empowered fist that would normally decimate an opponent but not today. His daughter had accessed power that none of their race had since their rebirth. She could not control it and would only end up killing all Saiyans for her actions. Tsuyo had to stop her.

Not all of her plans came to fruition, her heated words allowing her father enough time to reach his maximum power before she attacked. Twice in her life she had seen him ascend to this state and both times it had been for show, no real threat to his person. When she was more foolish she had believed it to be the highest feat a Saiyan had ever reached. Never before had there been a stronger king than Tsuyo and Akassa had never thought in her wildest dreams was she going to be able to even come close. Secretly she had wondered if Ninjin might one day surpass the level of power her father had achieved, or even Leke perhaps. They had his genes after all and were full Saiyan’s so she had thought they might posses such potential. Instead it had been her to reach farther than any Hattori had ever managed; her Super Saiyan power eclipsed that of the Kings. He had powered up to stand against her, but it would not save him.
Ki encased knuckles slammed into her father’s face, the blow enough to take him from his feet. Seeing his body begin to twist as the momentum shifted from her arm to his head Akassa was already starting to alter hers, turning to backhand Natisha. While her father no longer outmatched her in power he still had more combat experience her, the King not so easily defeated even with the power disparity between the two. Mid turn the Princess’ body jerks to a stop as two powerful arms wrap around her extended one. With a yank assisted by the fact he was being launched back through the air as a result of her punch Tsuyo manages to take her with him. Hissing some, Akassa flips over him as he tosses her, sending her fly through the air ahead of him. How pathetic it was that he still thought he could fight against her. Using her bukujutsu she counters his throw to quickly right herself in the air. The seasoned warrior made sure to follow up though, his hand lifting to fire a beam in her direction.
Crossing her arms in front of her chest she soon found herself smirking behind them as it did little more than shove her backwards. Slamming through the nearest wall the Princess burst out into the bright midday sun of New Vegeta, the wall she had been sent through crumbing in her wake. With power to spare Akassa’s right arm shoves the beam off to the side, the energy lancing off into space. As much as she was beginning to enjoy the power of her Super Saiyan form she saw what he was trying to do. Tsuyo must have realized he could not possibly stop her so instead he was trying to get her away from the Queen. After everything that had come to light he still chose to protect Natisha, he chose her over Akassa. Natisha was his wife while Akassa was nothing more than a bastard daughter, one he had no problem using as he desired. Now that she had surpassed him though he had no more use of her. Now that she knew him for what he truly was he needed to dispose of her to “protect” New Vegeta. Her father spoke of sacrifices, but he only ever gave up what he chose. If he truly believed in making sacrifices for the great good should he not allow Akassa her vengeance? What was Natisha’s life against what a Super Saiyan could do for the Saiyan people?
Still perusing her, Tsuyo threw punch after powered punch at his daughter in attempt to keep her away from the Queen. If his plan was to brawl with her it was a poor one. His blows had power that few in the Universe could match, but the Super Saiyan he now fought was beyond him. As he struck her arms blocked the blows with relative ease, smacking the punches aside or simply taking the shots in her forearms. For several seconds she takes them, testing her new found strength before her desire to get to Natisha overrode her curiosity. Deflecting a series of blows Akassa’s head snaps forward to slam into Tsuyo’s, the force more than enough to send him backwards again, perhaps all the way back into the hall. If the latter were the case it would only make her next attack all the more effective.
Lifting into the air like a rising star Akassa sensed other signatures in the royal compound drawing near. Many were no doubt soldiers, but one stood out, Leke. It made sense they were approaching, Tsuyo and her own power spike drawing them like moths to the flame. Let them watch, let them hear what it was the King was. After she had bested him the Princess would make sure he admitted what he had done, Leke and the others would have to see who the man they so respected truly was.
”You will not keep me from her Tsuyo!” High above the hall now Akassa stops ascending, her golden aura flaring for a moment before she unleashes her attack. The Princess’ right arm lurches forward to let a Ki blast fly, her artificial left arm following with a blast of its own. Again her right arm comes forward to fire then again followed by her left as she alternates. Quickening her rate of fire Akassa launches blast after blast down at the structure below. Tsuyo had removed her from the building to protect Natisha and that was fine. She would just bring the building down on them instead. The blasts were not devastatingly powerful on their own, but she would rain down dozens of them upon the hall, the accumulated damage enough to quickly level the structure. (Last attack used is Super Energy Wave Volley and given permission by Leke to skip him since he wouldn’t have arrived yet.)

Akassa’s head snapped forward and struck Tsuyo’s hard. The move was designed to disorient and daze and it worked brilliantly. The force from the strike caused Tsuyo to stagger backwards as he did through squinted eyes he was able to tell that he blows were having little effect against his daughter. She truly had monstrous power and with it came an ego that would one day get her killed. It was something all great rulers had to deal with as it was near impossible to feel indestructible when you had so few to even rival your power. But that was where a great ruler appeared as they knew how to manager such great power. Akassa had no experience with this, and it showed. Her power ruled her actions not the reverse. One day, if not on this day, the power she unlocked on this day would bring about her doom. Tsuyo however was not about to let her be ruled by this power.
His daughter lifted into the air as energy grew in her hands. He knew what she was going to do from his experience against other enemies. Immediately he bolted towards his wife as Akassa’s rage began to rain down from above. The first blast would rip through the make shift headquarters of the Saiyan throne room before erupting in the hall. Tsuyo’s eyes would catch the second blast about to connect by where his wife stood when his massive body got in between. The blast would slam into his back causing a small explosion that caused the Saiyan king to grunt in pain as he picked up his wife in his arms. She was still in shock as to what was happening in that very moment. Natisha would be sheltered in Tsuyo’s arms as dozens of blasts rained down. The hall erupted into explosions as the large body of the King embraced the woman he loved. She would be completely protected from the blasts but the King on the other hand would not. When the blasts finally came to an end the hall lay in ruins and the King breathing heavy. His back seared with pain from all the explosions and the armor that adorned his family’s colors was blistered with burn holes.
Slowly the large Saiyan king’s arms opened to let Natisha slowly drop to the ground. The Queen saw the pain in his movements but also the growing rage. Something was going to give and she highly doubted that it would be her husband. The man stood up to his full height before turning to face his daughter. He extended his straightened left arm upwards towards where Akassa floated. A small orb of energy gathered in his hand.
“BIG BANG ATTACK!” Tsuyo yelled out into the distance as the ball of energy shot from his hand. It was an ancient Hattori technique that only the king and those close to him were allowed to know. But Tsuyo had yet to teach it to anyone at all, including his children. This technique was on a level that was above any that Akassa had seen before. If his daughter wanted to act like a monster controlled by blind power then that was what she would be met with.

Leke could not get to the scene any faster. He had to barrel through soldiers, officials, and citizens running amock. Most ran from the chaos; few dared travel towards it. The Prince made sure they turned the opposite direction. As he approached, he had learned what was going on just from the massive power level spikes of both his half-sister and father - they were duking it out, and clearly Tsuyo was trying to save Natisha from her. For what, he couldn't know until he arrived. Leke had to frantically bellow out orders to soldiers, using his royal authority for one of the few times in his life, to get people out of the castle.
"Get out! Evacuate the palace IMMEDIATELY! Everybody out!" he yelled out to the people of particular positions of power as he passed them, slowing only to relay the message. If these two monstrous powers were fighting, both much more powerful than Aer Nin, the palace could collapse at any minute. It had taken enough damage in the Church attack; this battle might send the entire compound crumbling down. He wanted to make sure nobody else would be caught in the crossfire.
Finally barreling through the last of the hallways, where now the ceiling was falling in places, destroyed from a barrage of ki blasts raining from the sky, idiotically approaching these power levels that put his own to shame, Leke burst open into the room where Tsuyo stood in front of Natisha, screaming out the name of one of the most powerful attacks known only to the highest levels of Saiyans and shooting from his hand a massive energy burst. Leke was sent to his feet from the sheer force of the blast being created, his own power much too weak to stand up to even the crosswinds of the Big Bang Attack firing. Quickly though, he managed to get to his feet; but he stayed back, looking up to see that Tsuyo had fired it at...
Akassa? She looked so different now, her hair and aura a fiery yellow, though tinges of red still stood in both. She was an image of spitting fury now, unlike anything he had ever seen. Only stories and painting had depicted what Leke believed she had become. The Prince couldn't believe it... They were so long ago that they were legends, possibly even fiction. Super Saiyans... The most powerful beings in the universe. Their golden hair and aura and impossibly massive strengths were known far and wide, but it had been over a thousand years since the last one had been heard of, supposedly. And now, high above the room with little ceiling to cover it, there was one again. Leke could only think it was true, if not only because of the power she possessed now; realizing that it eclipsed Tsuyo's own increased-power by a great amount.
Leke's eyes had widened in fear. He couldn't bring himself to utter a sound or to move an inch. It was now that he began to think this was a mistake. Perhaps he should have tried to help the others out. He was well out of his league, far beyond when he found the Namekian assassin, or even the Aer Nin threat. No, he feared one stray attack could mean his own end. The fear of death, one he could not do much to stop, was high in his mind.
