His brothers quick application of their power was impressive, and his genuine care for the state of their home was unbelievable. A teenager of Ethan's age (and generally of Ethan's attitude) cared little for the upkeep of a home. This made it clear that the boy had put a lot of hard work into building the dojo. Having put all that effort in, Kit too was reluctant to continue their training in the area with breakable objects. While he was less worried about the actual building, which had been reinforced over several times to prevent such dangerous accidents, he was indeed aware that their plates, glasses, and other valuables would be destroyed if they continued to train in this particular area. Shifting out a few feet through the open doorway and into the houses largest room by far, he was now inside the Gravity chamber.
"So long as we are here..."
Kit said, casually walking over to the machine that was no doubt foreign to his younger brother. He had every intention of telling Ethan about the invention, but had yet to actually get around to it. Given that the two of them were already training, and Kit had already achieved the basic level of training with the gravity chamber, he thought it would be good for his younger brother to experience it fully. He set the dial, and turned the gravity up by five times it regular pressure. It would take a few moments for the machine to boot up, and in that time Kit had turned around, readied himself, and allowed Ethan to fire an attack directly at him. The first noteworthy occurrence was the energies distinct lack of physical manifestation. Or in otherwords, the translucent appearance. It would appear nearly invisible, though an outline to those who focused. This would come in handy against foes who were not paying attention. The second thing of note was its impressive speed. Ethan fired the attack and within milliseconds it was only a foot away from Kit, whose right arm crossed over his chest, a teal energy glowing around his hand. This was his spiritual redirection. A swift backhand would strike the clear Ki to his right and into the wall next to them. This wall however was not as flimsy as the simple wood of the Kitchen. The blast would hit it and disappear, steam rising from Saito's hand.
"Good"
He said, only moments before the gravity would kick in. He had been unable to inform Ethan of what was about to happen due to the quick nature of his attack. But surely the boy could handle it...after he realized what the hell was actually happening. Kit had already mastered nearly ten times the earths normal gravity, so although he could feel the pressure, it was nothing he couldn't handle. His next step to their impromptu morning training was providing Ethan with an extra tool. Walking across the room as though nothing had happened at all, the man spoke, hoping his brother was listening and not focused too heavily on keeping himself from falling over.
"I installed this gravity chamber. It really is interesting. It forces gravity to increase in this selected area. This is its lowest setting. I highly recommend using it later. Don't go higher than an interval of five however, your body must acclimate to the new pressure and going any higher would well...probably kill you."
He had made it to a small glass case on the other side of the room, there held his training weights while he slept. Occasionally he would wear them to bed, but he had remembered to remove them and now they sat neatly on the case. Their weight too had intensified with the gravity, and at first Kit's muscles tensed at picking them up. On each limb the weight was evenly distributed, all at once it was considerably harder to manage. Saito did however manage to pick it up, turn back around, and walk to his brother, who was no doubt confused as to the whole situation. And who wouldn't be. Their meneal breakfast had turned into what would easily be the most difficult training of Ethan's life. Saito wanted it that way. The boy had certainly raised money for the household recently, but he had been lacking in the physical training department. Kit would not allow that to continue. With the potential of Tundra on the way it was time that Ethan recognized his truest potential. Kit would toss him in the water with the hopes he would float. He took a knee and dropped the weights just in front of Ethan's feet. He picked up the first leg weight and applied it to the right leg.
"There is a total of one thousand pounds here. Two hundred on each limb, and two hundred around the waist. They have grown nearly ineffective on me and so I don't mind if you use them in the training room with me. I wear them at all other times, but while we are training you need them more. At least until we get you a pair."
He connected the second leg brace, and would begin to set up the waist and then arm bracers. The weights, though heavy, were very small. So thin in fact that it was hard for Kit to believe that they weighed as much as they did. But surely they would not feel as they looked. The weight was not imaginary, and the thin bracers packed a ridiculously heavy wallop. Kit knew that what he had just asked of Ethan was unreasonable, at least to a weaker Ethan. In his focus state however, the weight would be manageable, if only a little. Kit had returned to his resting state. Without his weights, and without a stronger gravity pressure, he did not require any special means to protect himself. His hair, eyes, and muscles had slowly returned to their normal size. Ethan however would undoubtedly need to keep his energy at its peak. Stressing his Ki was an excellent start. He would learn and grow quickly that way.
