This was the third time she had seen this Doctor. Well he was more than a Doctor, he was also a mechanical limb expert and component designer. That latter part was why she had come to see him today. The false limb was not something she had wanted, her natural body defiled by the very existence of the mechanical appendage. Thanks to Aer Nin the choice had not been one for her to make, the Cardinal having removed the arm against the then Princess’ will. As much as she despised it, wished that the damage could be undone, she was not going to let her hatred for the thing slow her down. What was done was done and she was going to move forward. In doing so she planned to make the best use of the appendage.
Glancing at it once she sits back in the chair, waiting at the moment while the Doctor prepared the upgrades she had wanted. The two had already discussed what she desired several days ago. Recently she contacted by one of his associates the request was made for her to return, both of the upgrades to the arm prepared and ready to be installed. All he needed to do now was make some last minute preparations then installation was to begin. Normally she did not enjoy being made to wait, Akassa having been impatient before and even more so now considering she was Queen. It was only fair; the Queen of New Vegeta should be the one making others wait, not the other way around. Today was an exception though, her better than average mood allowing her to weather the minor inconvenience with a much better temperament than the norm. It probably had to do with the enhancements themselves. When the upgrades were complete she would have a pair of new surprises for anyone that dared stand against her.
The first of the upgrades she wanted was to be installed in the forearm. A close combat was her specialty, many of her techniques created to enhance her close combat based style. The crystal that had been placed within her palm allowed her to drain the energy from her foes. While the energy did not fuel her own reserves it did drain that of her foes, a useful trick for those that did not know she possessed it. Both items being added today were of a similar nature in the sense that they were going to be hidden until deployed. Within her forearm was to be installed a blade. The weapon was not meant to parry or block stacks from another weapon, although it could, but to be deployed when she was to pull her wrist back far enough. The short blade was to be used as a sneak attack, a very fatal trick when deployed correctly.
The second upgrade was of an electrical nature. With her palm and forearm already occupied by other features, this component had to be placed within her upper arm. Her artificial limb was powered through her own Ki, the energy that flowed through her body naturally. The cell being installed in the upper part of her fake limb would store an amount of this energy over a short time. Once enough had been gathered it could be willed to released in the form of an electrical charge, the shock traveling down her arm and into whatever she might have in her grip. Conri Lane and his control over electricity based Ki had inspired this one, but the Queen chose for it to be mechanical to save herself the time it took to learn such a technique. Also no one would expect her to have it hidden within her arm. Once the cell was discharge it would begin to fill up again, operating almost like the alternator of an engine, charged by her Ki.
Soon the Doctor made his way into the room, a bow directed at the Queen before he makes his way over. Nodding in return she extends her arm to the side as he rolls a table over under it. Her arm may be attached to her, but she felt nothing that happened to it. For this reason she had no need for anesthetics and was able to watch the whole procedure. Not needing to communicate much she watches for the several hours it takes to install the upgrades, a small smile on her face the whole time. When it was done she flexes her fingers, the arm feeling exactly the same as it had before, perhaps slightly heavier. It was nothing she wouldn’t get used to. Hopping off the chair she rotates it once before offering a quick thanks for his work. In terms of a bill there wasn’t one, the Queen not having to pay for such things.
(Zeni please and two techs listed below!
Hidden Wrist Blade – Installed in the forearm of Akassa’s arm is a small 6” blade that can be deployed when she arches her wrist back far enough. The weapon is secured in her arm and although short and most used for offense, it can block other blades if need be.
Discharge – Installed in the upper part of her arm is a small power cell. As Ki flows through her arm the cell is charged, building up enough of a charge until it can be dispensed as a powerful shock. Her arm has been further altered so that the flow is directed down towards her hand, forced to travel into whatever she is holding or in a short range shock. This can be used multiple times, but takes 4 posts to recharge once used.)
