With the time spent healing he had enough time to fit in two more training sessions before he would need to head out to Alpha Prime once more. This next training was going to be a shorter one than the last because he wanted to create another technique that could take him to the next level, but this time he wanted it to be a defensive ability. Turning the gravity up to forty times the normal amount, he decided that he would use this time to develop an especially strong defense that could cover more than just himself. “Do me a favor and create something that has a lot of raw power for me, will ya?” there wasn't a reply, instead the simulator kicked up to put him in an open field. Looking around, he tried to see what might be around him, but it was empty as far as he could see. Strange that they would not be putting anything against him right away, unless they had and it was something he couldn't detect.
That was simply because they had not put the creature in yet though, as when he turned around to face the original direction he was facing a large mass of fur. It was likely going to be a test of the power of his defenses, although he expected there was more in store for him as well. When the Oozaru lifted both of its massive arms he knew that he had little time to think about it and just went with his instincts as he unleashed his lightning once more, molding it like he had with the electromagnetic blast he created. This time he was channeling it in a defensive manner using the energy to create a dome around himself that stopped the creature's massive fists in their tracks. The expression on the giant ape's face as his fists were stopped was priceless, it didn't seem to be capable of understanding the reason behind its fist stopping against this barrier. The stopping power was beyond most of his current techniques could even come close to, and that was just what he was looking for in a technique that would not only protect him, but that could be used to protect others as well.
There was more that he wanted to do with this technique though, it wasn't enough just to place a protective cover around himself or others. So, with that in mind he added a bit more of a charge into the shield that when the Oozaru tried again, it let out a roar of pain as electricity surged through its arms. The creature backed off as if it was trying to think of a way to get through the shield, but Conri was already done with the need for this little session. He'd gotten a technique that could stand up to some heavy attacks and that was the most important thing to take away from this session. This would help him be ready for the last one which would be a test of all his current abilities.
Using the control console he wore around his arm, he deactivated the simulator and gravity so that he could take a few minutes to regain his energy.

(Master Tech:
Electromagnetic Barrier
Deciding to flesh out his defensive abilities, Conri uses his control over lightning to create a barrier that can block all but the most powerful of attacks from reaching what it protects for three turns. It can be spread out to cover a large group within a complete omnidirectional sphere to keep everyone within safe from harm. The shield has an extra effect in that anyone that makes physical contact with the shield will be electrocuted. Lasts for 3 turns unless destroyed.)
