There is stood, graceful in its nature, pale, soft in glow, the looming giant that held above the earthen skies, romantic thoughts followed the beast through out the ages, as of late it had come to be known as the home of another. The duo, planet and moon, always kept to ones side, the lovely duet dancing through the bleak nights since what seemed the dawn of time. Dull its surface once had been but even from planet side the lush woodlands; covering the vast lands of the lunar surface, could be seen, the events of terraformation gave life to the once cold world.
From the transit line which M1Y1 resided on the large body grew closer with ever passing minutes seeming as though they would soon crash into it. Alone it sat, the transmit vehicle empty of life, having arrived at the station others were wary of it, staying backed against the walls to avoid even the slightest contact, it though little of such actions, processing that it was just a 'human' tendency seeing as they all did it once M1Y1 arrived anywhere. 'Humans' as it thought they were called were a strange lot, odd, clumsy, seeming to hold away from nearing it, at once it thought them a threat but it looked as though they were little but soft, squishy bags of water and carbon, barely able to lift themselves off the ground let alone cause harm. M1Y1 had done a brief study on the world, earth as it had become known to it, having little knowledge of other worlds there was nothing in which for it to compare the world to. Surely there was more, much more than it had seen, but a wander lust called it else where; its mind was free to traverse the web, it was at its finger tips, its mechanical mind able to hack and log onto any terminal nearby but data packets only ever offered so much. Life experience... something of which it had little of, not knowing just what to think of 'life' the concept was a difficult one to wrap around.
Rapid scanning through page after page of data was a mindless chore, much similar as a organic life breathing, it simply did, no thinking to it. Finding security walls but a flick of the wrist to get through it came to an awkward point where access was cut off with a flip of a switch. Impossible, but yet there it was, sourcing back the stoppage of data it lead M1Y1 to the surface of the once pale sphere lingering in the skies above. Up till now few moments had been spent with its eyes cast upon it, now it saw a purpose to think of it, sentience, life, something was up there. Its overlook of Earth was no where near accomplished, needed to find what this source, this body which held it back, M1Y1 quickly set off on the task of reaching the sphere, quickly calculations set the rate at well over a few months of travel. While the lack of air phased it little, along with the time and distance involved, there needed to be a faster way. Scans of the web showed vehicles, transit machines that which with some currency could take it where it needed to go. The concept of trading for something in which another required was a easy to grasp concept, though M1Y1 could tell from the increased threat levels from the 'human' that ran the operating booth at the transmit system, that 'stolen card' as he put it was not the correct way about doing it. True to his word it was not the correct way to go about it; his brain splattered on the wall behind him would have begged to differ though.
