The rain fell as the skies wept for the souls that had been lost that day. No, no big battle had occurred that had taken thousands of lives. The skies wept because thy accepted in that day’s new members in death’s embrace. It was a morbid way of thinking about rain but it was something that he had learned from his uncle, the very same one that had been so kind as to bestow the gift of shame upon Kuro. He used to say when he was younger that the gods wept for the new arrivals as their lives had ended and all life needed to be mourned no matter who it was. There were even times when more prominent souls entered into the afterlife as they were met with rolling tides of bombast thunder. It was all a matter of perspective on what the rain might have meant in the grand scheme of the universe as its only literal meaning was that water had formed in the atmosphere and was now falling to the Earth below. Anything else was frankly fluff to the young Muzai.
His fingers pressed around the glass as his eyes stared into the warm liquid that resides within. The golden mixture had been a local favorite liquor in this part of the world. It was new to Kurosanai as he had never been here before. He found himself wandering much more now that he returned from his job with Prometheus Zex. His mind seemed clouded and fogged with little to nothing going through properly. He had no idea why it did not work right for him. He had put what happened behind him, right? After all it didn’t matter if Arpatiko did not receive a rain storm on his planet upon his passing. That bombast thunder did not echo through the skies signaling to all the welcoming of a leader. No there was no pomp and circumstance for the Kinigo. All there was for the leader was fire. Flames wrapping around his body heating the skin to temperatures it never should have been at. The caused the flesh to bubble and burn, the metal to melt and sear, and the leader to scream in pain. How his screams never seemed to leave his mind. Seeing the Kinigo’s charred body half covered in rocks as he was left to be found by some patrol through the mine tunnels. It was no way for the leader to go. But Kurosanai’s torture did not end there, no.
His memory harkened back to Mement Mor and the battle that had raged between himself and the Universal Church of One Cardinal Sebastian De’Vont. The Cardinal was quick and correct to point out that Kurosanai was responsible for the death of Arpatiko, the pain of his people and the consequences that he faced afterwards. Sebastian beat and pummeled him until the point of breaking. Just before that final straw, that final bridge to be crossed, he was able to break through to another level that none in his family had accessed for generations. Battle quickly ended after that and the Cardinal beaten. For in that moment there was a glimmer of hope that perhaps he would be able to redeem himself for the actions that he had taken there. But it faded into darkness as he returned back to his family as he was able see their smiling faces again. As the days crept on it was after that his wandering had begun. At first it was just beyond the compound walls, then to the woods on the other side of the mountain, then to the shore of the sea and then to these islands that seemed to be perched in the middle of nowhere. There was only a small town on this decently sized island. It was big enough that they had a police and fire department and even a small hospital. The town’s folks even claimed that there were several very accomplished doctors working there. It was all pointless though. The golden liquid made sure to take care of any feelings.
The warm feeling of the liquor rolling down the back of his throat and into his stomach seemed to be the only thing that could bring him some kind of solace. The long blue coat of the Cardinal hung from the prodigy of Muzai’s shoulders. It had become a war trophy that he just could not part with for whatever reason. His body was clad in worn and dirty looking bandages that had definitely seen better days. With all that was going on in Kurosanai’s head he just wanted to be left alone so that he could enjoy this local favorite and maybe drown out some screaming for once. Maybe then he would be able to get some sleep.

This will also be the very last thing that happens before my time skip. After the events of my thread with Kass/M1Y1 I will be traveling to Earth for this specifically.
*****
Nasu had heard stories of old sailors. They used to say that any time a ship made port the first thing they would look for was a woman and a bar. As a very young boy his mother used to tell him pirate stories and they always looked for liquor after they made port and as a child he used to laugh at the idea thinking the men were just funny drunks.
Now having been stuck in that damned ship for hours on end with no one to talk to but his douche know-it-all AI he understood the urge. No sooner had his ship landed just outside the edges of the city than he jumped up in search of strong liquor. After literal days stuck doing nothing but sitting down however his movement was far too fast and without stretching Nasu felt something in his back, something presumably important, wretch in a way that it shouldn’t have. A sharp line of pain immediately extended from the top of his neck all the way down his back like someone had sliced into his back making it almost impossible for him to move.
Of course his first reaction to the now blinding pain was arch his back in agony. This was of course the exact opposite of what he should have done and his actions only sent another spike of pain racing through his body. He could swear he heard phantom laughter coming from the AI in the ship but by the time he managed to slowly turn around and face the ship the door was shut and locked. Leaving him standing out in a torrential rain storm in pain as his AI laughed at him. Cursing under his breath he began walking towards the city in front of him with the way his back felt right now a woman was out of the question but fuck it he really needed a drink now more than ever.
It was the outskirts of the small town he found the little hole in the wall that seemed perfectly suited for him. Even on the edges of the town he had passed three bars that seemed obscenely classy. As he shuffled past them the bar owners actually came out to make sure he wasn’t going to try and enter their “fine establishments”. One man even had the nerve to shoo him along as if he were common street trash. Not knowing how strict the laws were here on Earth, Nasu had stopped short of killing the man but he was sure he brought the health rating of the bar down a notch or two. There is no way there should be that much blood in such an upscale restaurant. He was sure to mention that to the now unconscious bar owner as he shuffled back out the door. Beating the hell out of the idiot sent new waves of fire up his spine but it had been the principle of the thing. The man had really left Nasu no choice.
Still shuffling along in the rain he finally found a place that looked perfect, a small hole in the wall bar with a neon sign out front announcing it was in fact open but not much else in the way of advertising.
Putting on hand on the door Nasu adjusted his leather jacket taking a moment to make sure the pin on the front symbolizing he used to be an officer in the Red Flag was on straight and showing. He wasn’t really vain but first impressions were important and he was on Earth representing his Queen now. He had to put his best foot forward. If you walked into a bar on New Vegeta showing weakness someone would forcibly throw you out in short order, the “humans” here weren’t strong enough to throw him out no matter how many there were but it was the principle. Standing up straight and grimacing at the pain in his back Nasu put on a calm face showing no signs of discomfort as he walked into the bar with calm smooth strides. Instantly he knew he had chosen correctly as the old fashioned juke box in the back played out the best of the Eagles.
Walking slowly he looked around the bar slowly. Mostly it was just your average humans, they were truly disgusting creatures, but they were about to give him liquor so he made a point not to bring it up. Taking a seat next to a coated and heavily bandaged man at the bar looks around quietly.
“A shot of whiskey and whatever you have on tap please.” he said catching the barman’s eyes even going so far as to say please trying to make a good impression on the man who smiled and brought him his drinks. Throwing the shot back without a moment’s hesitation Nasu smiled at the burn going down his throat and the slower relief to his back as his muscles loosened up slightly. Liquor was a depressant, and he was determined to silently pretend that was his plan all along instead of just getting drunk enough the pain didn’t bother him anymore.

Talking to someone. That was what everyone recommended but the problem was that there was no one to talk to. The others from the mission to Belegost and consequently Mement Mor were out of reach and Kurosanai had no desire to talk to them as was the case with William Watson. Even by the end of the mission together they never got along. Maybe something would change in the future but until that time there was absolutely no way either was going to talk to each other. Then there were those back at the Muzai compound. Izanami wanted nothing to do with the prodigy like she always did. Mozoku seemed distant now. Yeah sure he had welcome Kurosanai home like all the others but for some reason when the two were alone together it was just awkward. Whatever it was Mozoku would not speak to Kuro about it either instead each time finding a way to escape the conversation. The last two that he would be able to talk to were his parents but they were his parents so he really didn’t feel like communicating with them.
With no one to talk to that was when Kurosanai began to wander around. And that was how he ended up here in this dull and dreary bar. The word stank from low tide, the alcohol was piss poor, the cliental even worse and floor seemed to squeak every time he made a step somewhere. That was the part that annoyed him the most. He had been up to walk around the bare a few times to smell the rain and clear his head a little. But every time he would begin to migrate back to the worn down sea scrubbed wood that was referred to as a bar the floor would squeak something obnoxious and nearly send the prodigy of the Muzai clear over the wall. When he actually put that warm crappy liquor back to his lips though all seemed to melt away.
His face had grown fuzzy as the prodigy had foregone shaving for the first time in his life. In only a few days he had shaggy looking facial hair growing despite the fact that prodigy was actually not that hairy. His hair was greasy and disheveled and overall the prodigy was not presentable by any standards. The worst part about everything was that he had absolutely no idea on what was going on around him. Never once did the prodigy look up from his drink to see who the newest patron was. If he had he would have noticed that this man was different than those that had come in before him. He carried a walk that spoke of someone who wanted respect and when he didn’t receive it people got hurt. He would have noticed that the man stunk of war and bloodlust and was one to watch. The problem was that he didn’t notice him and in fact was too consumed in his own hatred and misery to care for much of the outside world. The warm liquor from the glass was the only friend he had, the only companion.

Nasu hated the Earth. It was a contemptuous, pitiful planet full of weak minded sheep. They were as quick to roll over and play dead as fight and like any wild dog they needed a proper master to tame them and teach them obedience. With a little applied will it was only a matter of time until this wild mongrel became a sleek hunting dog. Ready to attack at their master's will. Nasu grimaced looking around the bar slowly. But for now they were weak...pathetic...
Extending his senses he hoped there might be more here than meets the eye, instead he was sorely disappointed. Hell the boy sitting next to him didn't even seem to have a power level he could register and Nasu was one of the most skilled people on New Vegeta when it came to sensing energy.
"Pathetic." he said softly under his breathe, shaking his head and turning back to his drink. Raising his hand slightly was all it took for the barman to bring him another drink with an ingratiating smile on his face. He looked like he was about to try and make small talk but the look Nasu gave him was enough that a lesser man would have pissed himself and the words caught in his throat. The man placed the beer in front of Nasu and took a quick step back never breaking eye contact like he was staring down a predator.
Nasu never said anything, just stared back calmly putting his money on the counter in front of him next to the beer. The barman looked at the money and back at Nasu before walking away quickly once again leaving Nasu shaking his head in disgust. Weakling people.
Before he could take more than a sip of his beer his peace was interrupted as one of the few other patrons decided Nasu looked like a friendly bloke and took a seat next to him. The man reeked of beer and his eyelids were drooping to different levels for each eye giving Nasu all the reason he needed to try and avoid the man. He tried to turn away but the man wasn’t having any of it. Putting his hand on Nasu’s shoulder he said loudly enough for the whole bar to hear.
“This used to be a wholesome place.” he took a breathe after that as if assessing how his statement went over. No one said anything so he pressed on. “Man could get himself a drink or two in peace and quiet without freaks disturbing them and everyone else here.” he said. Nasu gritted his teeth for a moment his jaw tightening in obvious frustration. But he was hear to observe the planet for his Queen, nothing more. Not yet.
The man didn't take the que however and continued on, obviously drunk, obviously oblivious. "Ever since that Queen took over OUR moon though, this town. OUR town, he said looking around at the mostly empty bar, been over run by them Moon Monkeys." he said taking a long pull of his beer. He even got to finish it, mostly because Nasu was in shock. This man could not have been stupid enough to say that to his face. Could he?
No one could be that dumb. Then he remembered he wasn’t on New Vegeta where everyone was a saiyan and that he didn’t have the traditional tail of his race being a half saiyan. Still the idiot needed to be taught proper respect for his betters.
Without a word Nasu grabbed the man’s shoulder in one hand and elbow in the other twisting it behind him and popping it out of it’s socket bringing a high pitched, girlish, scream from the drunk’s mouth.
Out of courtesy, he didn’t want the man to be lopsided, so he dislocated the man’s other shoulder in a very similar fashion before grabbing him by the neck in one hand. He found that his chair spun, and much to his pleasure he spun around on the stool top effortlessly and literally threw the man head first into a wall where he partially crashed through the drywall before going limp. And all without standing up from his seat.
Slowly Nasu picked up his beer again this time turning to face the rest of the bar which had gone silent other than the jukebox which was now playing a song by Journey. With a long pull Nasu finished what was left, and smiled, he could sense energy and the man he had thrown through the wall was dead. Not everyone could take a hit like saiyan's.
With that he turned back towards the bartender raising his hand again. "Another beer."

Drunkards always spoke stupidly. Their inhibitions and etiquette were removed when the liquor touched their tongue. But this was not relegated to just drunkards as normal people fell to the evil power of liquor. Now normally this would mean little to someone as it was common knowledge but if you add in some context it becomes painfully clear drunkards are idiots. Kurosanai had just barely lifted his head when the bar tender handed the man next to him the drink. His black hair was soaked like a mop and his old duster jacket drenched. The only thing that made him stand out over any over patron was the fact that he appeared to be more well-travelled than anyone that Kurosanai had seen the entire time he had spent in the bar. When the drunk began mouthing off about how Saiyans were second class to humans it made Kuro roll his eyes in disgust as he continued on. He had known only a few Saiyans in his time but those that he had met proved to be great people. Conri Lane with all of his flaws was one of the prodigy of the Muzai’s friends.
The man the drunkard was talking to though, the newcomer, seemed disgusted by the comments and instead acted hastily. Grabbing the man’s shoulder and then his elbow, Kuro’s eyes studied it and instantly knew what he intended to do. Before he was able to move however there was a sickening pop as the man’s arm was ripped clean out of the socket. He would sink to his head into the bar top as tears rolled down his face. But he would not enjoy the pain as his other arm was greeted with the same fate. The drunkard was left in a pool of his own tears before he was violently spun out of his chair and sent clean through the wall. Flashing his Aoiro for a brief second and was able to see strong ki lines running through this man’s body. That was when that Kurosanai knew that this was no ordinary man and anyone in the bar that tried to stop him would be obliterated, all except Kuro. The prodigy of the Muzai was going to have to step in otherwise things could go from bad to worse. Quietly his Aoiro reseeded back to their inactive state as he forced the concoction that was in front of him down with a deep swallow.
“Another beer.” The man stated calmly as the bartender looked on in fear. As the two seemed content Kurosanai rose from his feet and circled around to pass by the man in the wall. His eyes studied his chest as he did and to his chagrin the man’s chest was not moving. The callous act of violence had ended that poor man’s life and it was not something that was going to be tolerated. As the bartender placed the next bottle in front of the man Kuro’s hand wrapped around it before he had a chance to grab it himself.
“To take someone’s life so carelessly. That is not something that any single person should ever do. I will not stand for your actions.” Memories of Arpatiko’s death and the events on Mement Mor flashed before his eyes. The acts of war were never something to be taken so easily. His hand would tighten around the beer as he waited for the man’s reaction. To carelessly kill a person for being stupid was short tempered and to stand in the way of his victory celebration was even stupider. “You will pay for that man’s death.” Kurosanai growled as he was bolstered by his liquid courage. He was ready for a fight but the question was this man.

"Another drink please." Nasu said as the man's head made a satisfying crunch through the wall. There was a crooked grin playing on the corners of his mouth as he looked at the man who he had seemingly just killed. Surprisingly ending that man's life had improved his mood ten fold. Before the bartender recovered from his shock the man in the jacket next to him stood up and did a cursory lap around the bar examining the dead ex patron. He walked back his face indignant , and also equally drunk. Extending his senses Nasu's crooked grin fell slightly.
He had been hoping for something, a good fight, a good challenge. When he had a few beers his saiyan blood raced through his veins, and like the old Norse conquerers he would enjoy testing his strength fighting an equal. Instead, the man in front of him was beyond pathetic. Nasu couldn't sense his energy level at all, not just weak, non existent. Nasu had always been exceptional at sensing energies, he attributed his failure here to the liquor kicking in. Still at least this man seemed brave, the last had been a drunken fool as the man grabbed his beer Nasu's eyebrows shot up in surprise. This man was a BRAVE drunken fool.
“To take someone’s life so carelessly. That is not something that any single person should ever do. I will not stand for your actions. You will pay for that man’s death.” he said a little mellow dramatically and Nasu had to stifle a laugh behind his hand.
"That man there deserved exactly what he got. If you're going to act like a jackass, spouting offensive jibberish you better be prepared to back up your words." Nasu glanced at the man to make his double meaning perfectly clear. "People are free to say whatever they like, but that doesn't free them from the consequences of what they've said." He looked pointedly at what was left of the man. "If there was ever a case for Darwinism that man had been it. Stupid, drunk and weak, he had been culled from the heard like the smallest doe is picked off by hungry wolves. Consider thanking me for I've done your race a favor he will not breed another weak and stupid human." he said filling his words with all the contempt he felt for the people around him.
"And now here comes 'the hero'" determined to right the grave injustice." he put a sneer into the words. "How exactly am I going to pay? Are you going to kill me Mr Hero? What then? You would be exactly the same as me, you're not defending him." Nasu said pointing to the corpse. "He's already dead, you can't reverse time, hitting me won't bring him back. You would be finding an action offensive, and assaulting someone because of it. That being said, you're even weaker than he is. Literally no energy signature to speak of." he continued. The drink talking more than him but it had been a long trip and he needed to unwind, if he couldn't have a decent fight he'd have a decent shouting match. "Killing you as well would almost be dishonorable." he grinned fully, he turned his back on the powerless man as if to completely dismiss him from his mind. With casual slowness, Nasu went to go remove his beer from the asses hand.

The man’s insults were harsh and on some level rightfully so. The drunk had insulted someone and should have gotten a punch to his face. To hate someone for something as simple as race, creed, religion or something petty and insubstantial as that was ludicrous. Hate someone for who they are not because you lump them together in a big group. However it was just as wrong to kill someone for something they said or drew. That would only perpetuate the cycle of hatred that had infiltrated the minds of those people in the first place. Both men were guilty of these charges. Both were acting like they had just crawled out of the mud and figured out how to walk. Yes time had slipped by and there was no way to bring the man back from the dead, or at least not that Kuro knew of, to allow someone to murder another indiscriminately left all those in the room just as guilty. This man would face the courts for his crimes. Yeah it sounded better in the mind than spoken but it was the prodigy’s goal. He had no right to judge the value of another’s life, a lesson that had been drilled into his mind because of Belegost.
As the man reached for the beer Kurosanai’s hand simply tightened around it making it to that it was not going anywhere unless he said so. Keeping a calm yet stern face Kurosanai did not break the stare that was shooting straight through the man’s skull. He was powerful but he was something that the prodigy of the Muzai could handle. “I am going to bring you in for your punishment. However stupid that sounds I do not have the authority to judge the value of someone else’s life. I never claimed to. But what I know is that I will not let you just going around killing whoever you see fit.”
The prodigy of the Muzai had stared into the abyss that was the chaos of war. He tried to avert his eyes yet he could not. It changed him on some level. He no longer laughed off stupid threats with a sneer or made fun of people for how they looked. The war that he stumbled into on Zex’s mission had left him with a darker outlook on life. His patience had grown short and often times just preferred to be left alone. No one could understand what he saw and to say otherwise meant that they were lying.
“When it comes to power level…it means nothing to me.” Kurosanai smiled knowingly. The man thought he knew that the fight was in his hand. The Cloak of Aon granted him that advantage. “Only fools rely on pride and overconfidence.” Kurosanai was ready for anything that the man tried.

Nasu turned completely dismissing the man from his mind as he went to pull the beer out of the failure's grip. However beer didn't move, the boy seemed determined to maintain his hold. For a moment his brow furrowed in anger, who was this impudent human? Who exactly did he think he was?!
"I am going to bring you in for punishment" the reject said and Nasu couldn't help himself he laughed. It was a short bark of laughter but it was genuine from his belly and he couldn't stop himself. It came out before he could do anything. He laughed derisively right in the failures face.
"And who are you to bring me in for punishment 'Mr. Hero?'" he said turning his head to face the boy while his shoulders still faced his drink. The boy smiled slightly, power meant nothing he claimed, going so far as to call Nasu an overconfident fool. Nasu grinned openly now. He had no idea that the cloak could completely mask power levels, instead he believed the moron to have a death wish. While he wasn't one to disappoint the man he would prove him wrong before killing him.
With a thought he reached his mind into the beer mug and lifted the rest of the liquid out of the container with his telekinesis. Splitting the liquid in half he brought half of it to his mouth, he unceremoniously dumped the remaining beer over the do gooders head. That image brought a new thought to his mind and a smile.
"So Mr. Hero, you say you're not going to let me kill whoever I want, that seems like a noble goal." a viscous grin now spread across Nasu's face as he turned to fully face the boy who thought to challenge him. "But words lacking action and the power to back it up are just that. Words." With another thought Nasu's telekinesis paralyzed two of the patrons. "So I'm going to give you a choice Mr. Hero" he said his voice laced with contempt. His face furrowed in concentration for a moment and two large chunks of the ceiling began to crack. Sweat broke out over Nasu's forehead but a moment later two large balls of wood, concrete, and metal hung over the paralyzed mens head's and a look of triumph came over his face.
"What exactly are you going to do to stop me from killing these people?" around the bar the few remaining people were backing away slowly abandoning there former bar mates to their fate...human's were such pathetic creatures..."You could hit me." Nasu said enticingly. "But you're not strong enough to do anything. You could break the bottle in your hands and try stab me with it, but then I might drop the ceiling killing the men you just swore to protect. So what now oh mighty savior of the people?" He was genuinely curious if the boy before him would beg for their lives. After all his talk, it was just words, in this universe it was always survival of the fittest, and the boy had no power to back anything up.

Insult after insult it didn’t matter one bit to the man that he had taken another’s life. And that was what made him dangerous. But what made him annoying was the arrogance that soaked through every fiber of his being was just as bad as the beer that had been dropped on Kurosanai. The liquor ran over his head like a bucket of fresh water in a bath only instead of leaving him clean it left him sticky and smelling of a poor man’s ale. Despite this and the buzz that coursed through his body Kurosanai was able to maintain his composure but his eyes did go wide when he heard cracking. The roof began to pitch and buckle as it seemed to be moving on its own. Intuition though spoke of another reason as to why this was happening, telekinesis. He had only heard of the ability and how devastating it could be. But there was one thing that this fool did not know, the Muzai fighting style actually was designed to directly interrupt the telekinetic powers of an opponent among others.
Thanks to the coat Kurosanai was able to slowly let his power begin to rise. By doing it slowly he managed to keep the element of surprise on his side since the coat did not suppress any auras that burst forth from around him. Because of that he would need to slowly raise his strength. But before he could strike the idiot grabbed two patrons with his telekinetics and forced them into the air. The balls of ceiling were left hanging over them. He gave Kurosanai a simple choice either fight him and risk killing the patrons or let him walk away in order to save the patrons. The prodigy bit down on his lip as his mind began to run through the possibilities of each scenario. Time and again he came up with a less than desirable result. He could not work through this scenario until it hit him. He knew what to do.
Letting go of the beer, the soaked prodigy takes a few steps towards the patrons but never turned his back to the man that sat in the chair. His eyes flickered back and forth between the man and the patrons. He knew his timing was going to have to be perfect with this. When his head turned back to the patrons his Aoiro no Tsuisata would ignite causing blue tailed twisted to emanate from his pupil. As he did the last bit of his power would surge forth causing a small aura to burst outwards creating a small wind gust, nothing major but enough to catch someone’s attention (My 2x). The prodigy would then throw a ball of condensed fire from his right hand towards the mass of rock above one patron; he spun on his heel throwing another condensed fireball from his hand. Each would smash into the balls of ceiling debris causing them to explode outwards. Normally they would have been on fire but because of training he had done Kuro learned to compress the flames so that it would provide concussive force at times without the fiery side effects. As he spun his heel would catch the bottom of one of the legs of the stool. The motion of him spinning would force the stool outwards away from the bar and hopefully out from the man. This would be followed up with the finally part of the spin by Kurosanai. His hand would rocket towards the man’s head. Initially on contact he would only strike with two fingers blocking the ki pathway breaking up his telekinesis thus dropping the two men out of the air. But right after contact his palm would grab the side of the man’s head driving him through the side of the bar and into the ground.
Kurosnai hoped that with the spin the man’s eyes would be caught up in the movement that he it would distract him from the leg sweep of the bar stool away. The sudden drop would hopefully lower his guard just long enough to break the telekinesis and then the head getting slammed through the bar was a point of personal satisfaction. Though Kurosanai was a well-trained man that was learning to control his emotions better, he was still just a man.
“Like I said power means little to me.” Kurosanai would sneer as he looked down at the man that might have his head buried in wood and possibly dirt. Between the momentum of the fall and Kurosanai’s strength he may have actually gone straight through the floor.

The beer spilled over the man in front of him and Nasu sneered at how powerless the human was. It was pathetic, if that had happened to any Saiyan regardless of power levels of the person in front of them a fight would have broken out immediately. Instead the man (and Nasu used that term very loosely) stood there and did nothing. Humans, he thought disgustedly.
Nasu watched as the man stood there helpless. His coat moving slightly, there must have been air conditioning in the bar or something, but it the man's power level never registered with him, the coat had done it's job and given Kuro the element of surprise he needed. Before he could react the man had launched fire balls at the hovering chunks of ceiling that Nasu had prepared to crush the men. It was only the fact that Nasu had spent years as a mercenary that allowed him to react from the surprise the man in front of him wasn't completely helpless. Maintaining his telekinetic hold on the men he sought to snap their necks. He felt as if his attack had connected but he didn't have a chance to see or gloat over his victory before he was tumbling backwards.
Before he could recover the bastards hand connected with his head and there was a moment of dizziness. Nasu tried to shove the man back with his telekinesis but for the first time in his life, he called for his power and it didn't answer. He reached for his telekinesis and nothing came. It was more this shock than anything that let the man grab hold of his head and shove it through the bar. With a sickening crunch the wood tore like paper as his head drove through and into the floor going so far as to crack the hardwood floor as well.
The attack had been powerful, but not enough to take Nasu out of commission. And that was a mistake. Pushing himself to his feet he took one hand and wiped blood from the corner of his mouth, really examining the prick in front of him for the first time.
The man had the most interesting eyes Nasu had ever seen. He didn't know what it was about them but they seemed to swirl and move like a the waters of some immeasurably deep pool. In other circumstances Nasu could get lost staring into those eyes. Now he realized they must be what allowed this man to hide his energy so completely.
Still he was no match for Nasu, not even worth going super saiyan. With a small effort he reached his full power his bright red aura flaring around him.
"That." he said slowly. "Was a mistake." Slowly he stepped away from the shattered bar and watched as every patron able to move began to flee the bar and the fight they knew was coming. He was here to make an impression for his people however and that getting his head driven through a bar wasn't the impression he wanted to leave these people with...oh well...his hands moving like lighting he threw numerous quick ki blasts at the patrons as they fled for the door killing each before they could leave sensing their positions as his eyes never left the man in front of him.
"And now even more people are dead because you had to stick up for you beliefs. People like you are extremists. Consequences don't matter to you as long as you get your way, it's sickening. Power might mean nothing to you, but every Saiyan alive knows to respect their betters or bad things happen." he couldn't use his telekinesis he didn't know how, he didn't understand why. But once a fight starts you don't waste time worrying about why you just accept the reality of the situation. Instead he charged, he still couldn't sense the boy in front of him, he had no idea what his power level was, but there is no better way to gauge someone's fighting ability than hand to hand combat.
Kicking off the ground Nasu would close the distance in an instant feigning a hard right to his face instead he would drive a left into the man's gut following it up with a side kick designed to blow the man through the bar wall and out into the street. A good fight needed room and this bar just wasn't the place for it.

The murderer’s head smashed through the bar counter top sending splinters flying everywhere and patrons scurrying in all directions. Some stumbled over their own feet while others stood in shock at what had just happened. Letting go of the murderer’s head Kurosanai leapt backwards landing only a few feet away. When he landed his eyes fell to the floor as heaviness fell on the prodigy. During the attack he had heard two loud audible cracks and then thuds. Glancing to either side of him he could see the limp bodies that lay on the floor. He had failed them and because of his inept ability to save people they would never see their friends of families again.
The dark sadness twisted in his stomach as it turned to anger. Anger that was directed both at himself and the murderer that had decided to show up. As he began to stand several ki blasts ripped through the air. With practiced skill Kurosanai swatted several away from the intended targets and into the ground. But he was not fast enough as some flew outside of his arm reach and the blasts flew into their intended targets. Each person let out a slight yelp before an explosion muffled the sound. All that would be left of them would be small smoke patches hanging in the air. The air in his chest disappeared as the realization that he had failed once again began to hang on Kurosanai’s shoulders. It was being proven to him time and again that no matter what he tried to do he was proving to be completely useless. His weights were a factor that he kept forgetting about. If things got more serious he was going to have to lose them. In the meantime he hoped that this level of strength would be enough.
"And now even more people are dead because you had to stick up for you beliefs. People like you are extremists. Consequences don't matter to you as long as you get your way, it's sickening. Power might mean nothing to you, but every Saiyan alive knows to respect their betters or bad things happen.” The man spoke with vitriol fueled anger. Kurosanai respected everyone on a personal level, never because of their race or who they were. You could be the Queen of New Vegeta but if you went on a mass murdering spree then you were little better than sewer scum. Though it did create something interesting, this man was a Saiyan. Why in the world would Akassa Hattori, Queen of the Saiyans, allow some lowly soldier to start a war between old allies? Kuro was not given very long to think on it though as the man launched forward slamming into his waist. The blow was enough to take the Kurosanai off his feet and fly towards the door. But quick thinking was one of the prodigy’s strong suits and with a quick twitch of his hands it would appear as if he would be poking the man’s arms as they flew through the air. In truth Kuro was attacking the very ki pathways that ran through his arms. He was going to limit the amount of death that occurred on this day.
Then the wall hit Kurosanai as he went to strike the head once again. The wood against the skull sent ripples of pain shooting through his limbs as the air drastically grew colder. Any warmth that was given to him by the liquor was quickly disappearing between getting slammed into and now ending up outside. He felt his back land in the mud and slide several feet. In that time Kurosanai was able to get his feet under the man in an effort to flip him over his head and create some space. If that was successful Kuro would return to his feet.
The cool rain now pouring down on the prodigy, the coat that he had stolen from Sebastian provided some protection from the water but it would not matter. Kurosanai’s had begun to become soaked to the point that it clung to his forehead. Though he was quickly sobering up there was little still enough intoxication to take off the edge of going through the wall in the bar.
“I have seen extremism in its truest physical form. To witness institutions taking lives simply because they do not fit their way of thinking. That is extremism to me.” Kurosanai started. “Maybe I am an extremist but I would rather be that and defend innocent people then to be nothing more than a two bit murderer. You are nothing more than shit in the sewer,” He would state with a hint of anger in his voice. He would immediately shoot off at full speed to make the Saiyan defend himself in hand to hand combat. Hopefully between the shock of realizing that he can no longer use ki in his arms and the diminished initial return of his telekinesis he would be able to end this battle quickly. Enough people had already died here today, no more needed to be added.

Nasu rained death down on the patrons of the bar and the man in front of him tried futilely to stop him. He managed to save some lives admittedly, but Nasu had taken a read on their energy signatures, he would find them again and they would each pay the price for this man's arrogance. But for now he had more pressing matters, Nasu charged and as the blows connected and Nasu was filled with with...not glee...grim satisfaction as the man went flying through the wall of the bar into the down pouring rain outside.
As Nasu's kick sent the man flying he felt light touches on each of his arms and if this was the most the man had to offer in the form of a fight he would finish this now. As the man collided with the wall Nasu put a hand out ready to summon his destructo disk but as with his telekinesis...nothing came. It took a moment for it to sink through Nasu's drink addled mind but as the man pushed himself to his feet it clicked. Whatever he touches can't access energy...THAT FUCKER BLOCKED MY ENERGY!
Clearly there was more to this human than meets the eyes.
As he rose the man tried to counter Nasu's lecture. Talking about how he "defended the innocent."
"What a load of bullshit." Nasu scoffed flexing his hands and allowing the rain to soak through the man for a moment. "If you wanted to protect the innocent you had an option where everyone who was still breathing could have walked away. Instead you chose to let innocent people die, knowing full well they couldn't protect themselves. All for your idea of justice." before Nasu had finished his speech however the man shot forward at him at incredible speeds. He was a saiyan through and through however and Nasu was ready.
Kicking off the ground Nasu would fly forward as well determined to meet the charge long before the bastard had a chance to get out of the rain. The second he left the protective cover of the bar Nasu encountered a figurative wall of rain that instantly soaked him and he smiled. Before the two could meet in hand to hand combat Nasu would summon his barrier.
Throwing it from his chest out in front of him a wall of pure electricity would charge in front of him like an electric fence and a battering ram combined. As a child he'd been in the rain before, and he'd seen the effects lightning would have on those who were wet when they got hit...it was bbq time...

The Saiyan proved more stubborn than originally thought. Instead of tackling him clear through the wall and into the street Kurosanai was left flying across the ground and careening into the mud. It left him alone in the street and the man to preach just more hate speech. It was utter nonsense. The man was so hell bent on proving that the survival of the fittest was the only way of establishing a civilization. What he did not seem to understand was that after a certain point it would prove that the more advanced and more intelligent thinkers would oust the brutes from power. This man was destined for that fate.
Unfortunately as the man charged back into the rain to meet the young prodigy of the Muzai he left a trap for Kurosanai. Instead of going to throw a punch to meet him he cast out a field of electricity that extended outwards in front of him. Kuro unable to change direction charged straight into this electro barrier sending a wave of shock jolting through his body. His muscles fired at an uncontrolled rapid causing him to tilt forward as if he was going to crash into the mud face first. But at the last second his hands would jut forward to plant into the mud in as he flipped forward. He would then drive his foot down with the intention of crushing the top of his skull with his heel. Upon contact a burst of flames would further explode outwards creating more damage. If successful Kurosanai would flip back to plant his feet into the ground and charge forward. If he missed with the initial the flames would shoot outwards from his foot creating a wave of fire that would sizzle the rain and cause a cloud of mist to briefly appear. He would immediately bring him foot back to the ground. It would be at this moment, regardless of result that Kurosanai would charge upwards at a diagonal angle faster than he had ever traveled before in his current form. It would be in this moment that he would unknowingly unlock the ability known as Zanzoken.
The two would disappear from view in the street only leaving a small explosion of mud shooting out in all directions. They would reappear high above in the sky with Kuro still wrapped around his waist. Knowing that this was a compromising position Kurosanai would deactivate his bukujustu dropping from the air like a rock. Once he did his hands would clasp around the man’s ankles before reactivating his bukujustu to flip him with a great deal of force away from the village. If the man countered and tried to hold onto Kurosanai he would roll up his body, wrap his legs around his neck and perform a hurricanrana once again away from the village.
“To stand by and do nothing while mindless violence surrounds you does not make you innocent. If you have the power to stop it, then do it. If you don’t then you are no more innocent than the murderer.” Kurosanai would state to himself. It was pointless to try and convince the man otherwise.

There was a grim satisfaction Nasu took in watching the man twitch in mid-air as his shield struck home. When he’d first learned of the ability he’d thought it only defensive. A way to block incoming energy attacks. But that was no way to fight. You could win far more fights by using your brain than using a fancy technique. And turning his shield into a weapon brought a thin smile to his face as rain matted down his hair and once again soaked him through.
He expected that to be the end of it, he’d electrocuted the man, in a rain storm. There was no chance a mere human could survive something like that. Kai’s above he knew a few saiyan warriors who would stay down after getting fried in this downpour.
It was only a flicker out of the corner of his eye that saved his life. He had already forgotten that he couldn’t sense the man’s energy, so certain of his kill that Nasu had assumed the lack of power coming from the prick was due to his death. Crossing his hands in front of his face Nasu felt his opponents leg connect from above shoving him towards the ground. What he didn’t expect was the wave of fire that came after and continued the push.
His body slammed into the ground back first propelled by a cylinder of fire like a crashing jetpack. The smell of burning hair and skin assaulted Nasu almost as bad as the pain, almost. His arms were both literally and figuratively on fire, his mind too much in the fight to react properly and go into shock as it properly should. There were burns from 1st to 3rd degree and there were points by Nasu’s wrist to his elbows where his skin had been entirely burned away and you could see the bone underneath.
Worse yet he had tried to scream in pain, but the heat had only burned the air he had taken into his lungs causing his insides to burn as well. His lungs were probably blackened to hell and he didn’t even get the joy of smoking to get them that way. His body literally smoked as he stood on the ground the rain evaporating off of him in a plume of steam and smoke. The pun was not lost on him.
He clenched his fists, he clenched his fists so hard blood started dripping down his fingers and pooling on the ground at his feet only to be quickly washed away by the rain. This would not stand. He was the son of Tsuyo Hattori, Saiyan King, he was the second strongest fighter in the Universe, second only to his sister Kass the Queen of the saiyan race. No saiyan royalty would ever be beaten by some pathetic Earth wretch.
Instinctively he sought to whip the super heated air around him with his telekinesis but it was still beyond his reach. He saw one of the clouds above him twitch in response to his psychic commands and he smiled grimly. The bastard could block his powers, but only for a time. He still couldn’t summon energy to his hands, but he didn’t need ki for the moment. He would kill him with his bare hands ripping the boy’s throat from his body. Reaching into the well of power deep inside him Nasu ascends. Transforming into the super saiyan, a creature that had been a mere legend until his sister unlocked the form, and he did the same shortly after.
Still covered by the cloud of dust and steam Nasu shot upward his body trailing smoke but moving far too fast for the debri cloud to follow. Perhaps the boy assumed he was dead making the same mistake Nasu had moments earlier, perhaps his sudden upswing in power was enough to quickly put the fight in his favor, either way Nasu came out swinging. The pain in his arms weren’t lessened but he could ignore it in favor of the fight.
Closing the gap to Kuro almost instantaneously Nasu uses his momentum to drive an upper cut into his stomach sending him flying upward and driving the air from the boys lungs which exhales in a cold visible cloud. Ignoring the chill Nasu quickly follows not give him time to get away instead throwing punch after punch upward into Kuro’s stomach until finally disappearing and reappearing behind him with both hands raised in the air together he brings them down like an axe directly into the man’s back sending him crashing to the earth like a lightning bolt. Slamming through the roof of a two story home and which crashes around him unprepared for the devastating force of the boy’s body.
That was it, it had to be. There would be no second chances this time however. Raising both hands in front of him Nasu gathers energy into a tiny ball, compressing the ki more and more as he prepares his the attack Queen Hattori had taught him.
“BIG BA-” he’s cut off as a sudden wave of freezing cold hits his back. Pivoting in mid-air he stares into the storm only to see the prick high above him in the rain. Kuro had taken a deep breathe with a look of determination on his face before letting it out. in a wide arc. The cold air leaving his lips freezes every rain drop around him for hundreds of feet in every direction. For a moment the icey rain caught the light from the city and the reflected the light, the sky shining with billions of new stars. Then all too soon gravity took it’s toll and the stars began to fall to the earth.
What could Nasu do but stare in bewilderment as the first ice dagger fell. He had never seen anything like this man before. He had used his powers and the rain in a way Nasu never would have seen coming. If the human wasn’t a moron Nasu could almost admire him for the way he fought. The first razor sharp blade fell slashing across his face and drawing a clean straight line of blood on his cheek just below his right eye.
The pain stirred Nasu into motion. Once again throwing both hands over his face trying to protect his vitals Nasu ducked and weaved trying to avoid the deadly rain but the storm was absolute. No matter how fast he moved there were ice blades everywhere and within seconds Nasu was dripping blood from enough cuts below him was his own personal rain storm of red.
With his final push he threw his mind out in front of him to try and form a barrier with his telekinesis, it had been beyond his reach since the man had hit him, but he had felt it, he knew it was still there...if only….FINALLY!
The barrier throws itself in front of him momentarily giving him shelter from the deadly blades. But the safety is short lived. Before he can so much as breathe a sigh of relief the man above him vanishes and appears directly in front of him a kick aimed for his side. The kick connects but Nasu who had his hands above his head a moment ago brings one arm down catching the leg while his other hand drives into the knee and with a horrifying crack his opponents knee is broken. But Nasu wasn’t done instead using his new old he begins to spin intent to throw the man to the ground, before he lets go however, the Kuro lifts his other leg and delivers a kick to Nasu’s head that sends him flying back into the storm.
Rage once again grips Nasu as he stares into the cold eyes of the earthling who dared to challenge a prince. The eyes seem to swirl and change like the heart of a blizzard and once again Nasu is convinced he could get lost in them if only he let himself. But dragging himself out of the man’s gaze he readies himself for the next round.
The man in front of him disappears his power once again had been raised to that of his own without giving off any energy signature, but Nasu’s eyes track that bastard as he approaches. Kuro’s hands move like lightning but Nasu manages to block most of them keeping him away from his body knowing that any one punch could be the one that takes away Nasu’s powers next.
Still it puts him on the defnsive and Nasu retreats as the man pushes him back across the skyline of the small town. The storm once again does Nasu in as rain drips down his face and into his eye at just the wrong moment, missing a key block Kuro is able to connect blocking the ki channels to Nasu’s right leg and suddenly he can’t maintain his flght.
Flailing wildly Nasu manages to grab hold of the prick’s good leg clutching onto his boot. Never one to miss an opportunity Nasu throws all his power into his left leg sending the pair spinning towards the ground. Still he refuses to let go. The pair both slam into the ground with enough force to raise a massive cloud of dust even in the heart of a storm.
Bloodied Nasu grimaces and pushes himself to his feet, every inch of him is covered in cuts from Kuro’s ice blades. He watches as a hundred yards away Kuro pushes himself to his feet as well standing on one leg his other bent at in an unnatural position that made Nasu wince if he thought about it too much.. With slow deliberation Nasu pulls out his sword, once again he throws the electric barrier net up in front of him, but then he stops and smiles. A look of concentration came over Nasu’s face as the barrier net slowly inches closer and closer to Nasu, shrinking all the while.
Finally the electric wall was nothing more than a small round circle, the circle was attached to Nasu’s arm however, and he could move it freely instead of hiding behind it this time. Sword in one hand shield in the other. With a laugh he charges shield first.
To his credit the stranger stands his ground, he would have made a fine saiyan if he had any common sense. In another life him and Nasu could have grown to become friends, the man was clearly brave, stood up for what he believed in, and above all strong. If he hadn’t been standing opposite him, Nasu was sure the only other option was that he’d be standing beside him. However the man refused to bend the knee, refused to give in to his betters and that was why he would die. Nasu swings the shield with a backhand punch and while the punch misses the electricity connects and he can feel the man’s muscles tense and twitch. Bringing his sword forward with a shout of triumph and rage Nasu prepares to stab the stranger through the heart only for the man’s other hand to grab hold of the flat of the blade trying to push it off to one side.
He’s partially successful as the blade doesn’t pierce his heart instead going through the meat of the man’s arm, with a loud snap the blade breaks off and Nasu goes tumbling the force of his charge and his inability to push ki out of his right leg leaving him off balance. Sliding to a stop a few hundred feet away he lays there in the dirt exhausted.
“Take that.” he says looking down at his sword trying to figure out what had happened. The end where it had snapped has frost and ice formed all around it. Nasu pushes himself to back to his feet slowly eyes never leaving the blade in disbelief. Not only had the man saved his own life, while getting electrocuted he had the brains to freeze the blade making the metal brittle enough to break….well played, well played indeed.
