It was just six months after Conri had met with Kaladar and asked to become his apprentice the training had been long and arduous, however, it had helped him to become much stronger in the long run. With this he felt he could better protect the Earth, but it was still not enough for him, there were plenty of enemies that were out in the universe. If he thought his power was enough as it was then he had become arrogant, no there was someone that he could train with that had true power coursing through him. Entering the gravity chamber it was already turned to fifty-five times the normal gravity of Earth thanks to Marisa. She knew him quite well these days, when he wasn't training with Kaladar and Popo he was in here working himself as much as he could. He had known that there were threats six months ago and he had spent all this time preparing for them, it was time that he focused his mind to become even stronger.
The simulation would start up and the familiar face that he had sparred against many times formed in front of him. The clashes that these two had were something, they were never half-assed and they generally had fun. This time would be no different either, despite the pull of the gravity and his weights Conri transformed into a super saiyan to face down the human with enough hidden power to dwarf everyone he knew. With no warning the two launched at each other unleashing attacks at an even faster rate than they had the last time, instead of throwing punches at each other though it was more skillful this time. Thanks to the time that Conri had spent away from Earth, with his vision expanded he could watch each of EC's movements at once, watching his foot come up he brought the right arm up to block before using his left to grab the ankle and flip EC over his shoulder. It wasn't quite that easy of victory for him though, as the old man flipped around in the air and landed on his feet, before turning with a sweeping kick.
It would take more than that to catch Conri, however, as he jumped over the sweep and brought his foot down where EC had been only to find an afterimage and asphalt cracked for miles from his attack. The simulation of the city was still an interesting one and he was glad Marisa loaded it up, it showed him the destructive capacity that he was capable of. His attention was brought back to the fight as he turned to block a punch that pushed him back an entire city block. The message was clear, he shouldn't let himself get distracted like that, as he launched forward to spin around while throwing kicks at EC. A move he learned from an arcade game he had seen, the rapid series of kicks to the same spot he wore down his block and managed to score a hit on the man. There was no time to celebrate as he followed up on that with a ki wave to the side, before moving away to see what had been done to his opponent. To his surprise there had been a small barrier put in place just before the ki wave had hit, it wasn't strong enough to completely block the wave but it mitigated a good portion of damage.
“Not bad, kid. Not bad at all, but we'll see how long you can keep it up for,” he grinned wildly, almost like a madman some would say. That was just his ancestor though, guy enjoyed fighting almost as much as a Saiyan, but on the same foot he knew that there were better reasons to fight than just for the sake of fighting. He had thought him a rather vicious man upon their first meeting, but had learned that he never fought holding back if the situation seemed serious. A lesson that Conri would take to heart as well, he would not be lackadaisical in his own efforts while fighting. He had more people depending on him for their protection than before now, and he couldn't be screwing around in a fight. That was why these two were no going all out at the same power level for this battle, if he couldn't overcome him then fighting against others was out of the question. They both swung their legs up for a high kick and slammed them against each other another shockwave emanating from the collision, something he had gotten used to from their fights. They had the power to shake the world, but part of it all was learning to control that and not let it do any damage to the surrounding area.
Throwing another kick towards him he saw that he brought both arms up in a defensive manner, and hooked his leg between the arms and torso before pulling it apart and bringing his other leg to deliver a knee strike to the chest. He couldn't let his momentum subside either as he pressed further as he used the spinning rotation to throw a hook at EC's temple. It would not be so easy though as his ancestor ducked underneath the punch and returned one to his chest the power of his rotation being used against him. The following crack told him that one of his ribs had been sprained at least from the force of the blow, just like all power this was a double edged sword. It would teach him that while he should give chase when he can chasing too much can lead to the tables being turned on the young warrior. Rubbing his side he tried to ease the pain away while keeping himself on the move, not an easy task when the other person could move just as fast as you could. The worst part was each attack was aimed for the same spot as well, EC knew how to press his own advantage, but Conri would have a surprise of his own.
The opportunity came as EC rushed forward without thinking Conri had anything up his sleeve, and when he threw the punch for the ribs would find his arm bound to a nearby wall. The energy ring technique that he had came in quite useful in these situations and to make sure it wouldn't be easily broken he bound each limb and doubled the rings on them. Giving himself time to recover from the rib aching and turn his attention to EC more focused, as he channeled another Champion's Cannon into his fist. Upon striking the dead center of his trapped opponent's chest, he could see the building behind him crumble into a pile of rubble and release a cloud of dust around both combatants. It didn't last long as they both threw punches at the same time, the speed and force behind it sending the dust scattering to the wind. His cybernetic arms were holding out well against EC's to the point that he could start pushing him back, Bran had designed them to advance with his power. Friggin' genius he was and it was a good thing too, his own punch had freed the man, so he would need to watch where he aimed his attack once more.
It was good that he did as he saw the high kick coming in and moved to block it, but he had made a miscalculation, they high kick was actually something else. It had come down from an upward angle, and so blocking high left his midsection unguarded to the blow. Forcing him to stumble backwards from the power behind it, it seemed that EC had experience with a lot more forms of fighting. He was just glad that it wasn't where his rib had been sprained otherwise the pain would be magnified. Instead he pushed through it and brought his own foot around to come from above in an ax kick to slam EC's head into the ground with all the force that he could muster. The strike missed as his foot slammed into the ground and created a large crater where it had struck, but he would still keep going as the human came rushing at him he lifted his foot straight up reversing its previous course. With it being so fast and more of a natural reaction for him, it managed to catch his opponent on the chin sending him flying away. It was one of the first time he fully caught the man with an attack as well going by the look of surprise on his face, that thought brought a smirk to his Conri.
They would both be hurting now so neither would be able to take advantage of the others weak point without leaving their own open to attack. The only saving grace that he had to get a little rest for his ribs, as they both returned to range where they could trade blows. Punches, kicks, and all sorts of attacks were being thrown at high speeds to try creating the opening that they needed to unleash a devastating assault. Although before they could get too much further there was glitching in the simulator causing the two to stop, “Marisa, what's up?” He tried to call out, but there was no answer from her, which was unusual as even when he didn't want to hear anything from her she would speak. Soon enough his question would be answered though as the image of someone else popped up in the simulator, and begin to walk towards the two before he tried to wave his hand towards EC in a dismissive gesture.
Oddly enough nothing happened to him, and the strange stopped to examine the situation before trying to use more effort into ejecting the extra participant. “Strange, you do not seem to be leaving even though I am sending information towards your storage device to retract you,” he tried a few more times which were to no avail either. EC was standing there with his arms crossed and a smug expression on his face as he watched the man try to kick him from the simulation over and over. The amusement didn't last long though as a long sigh came from the human before he spoke up, “Look, I'm just gonna go ahead and explain this simply, my simulation can't be hacked I set it up that way with powerful forces. You are not powerful enough to undo the protection, so give it up and say what you want.”
His patience had grown thin with the intruder who was trying to mess with his programming, but turned towards Conri before motioning with his thumb for him to deal with this guy. Which seemed to be what this other guy wanted as well since he nodded to Conri, god why did he attract all the weirdos? Did he have some kind of neon sign that said he was sending an invitation to everybody to bother him for everything? “So, who are you and how can I help you? Given that you've kind of inserted yourself into the simulator and all,” he figured he might as well hear this guy out. He went through a lot of effort to find the Half-Saiyan which was kind of creepy really, he hoped this guy wasn't a stalker of some kind.
“My name is Zanuka Hunter and--”
“Oh god, please tell me this isn't some kind of thing where I killed your father and now I must prepare to die, is it?” he interrupted the man before he could truly finish his sentence. Seriously, he did not want to be involved in any more weird shenanigans like that, once was bad enough as it was for a life time. Apparently the hunter did not like his introduction being interrupted, however, and moved to attack Conri with a large scythe aimed to decapitate him. Well, it would if this was a real combative situation and that was his thought train until he tried to avoid the scythe's blade only to get cut across the forehead. Then came the sudden rush of pain into his brain, much worse than what he had ever felt from training in the simulator. A smug expression was suddenly on Zanuka's face as Conri was in such intense pain, and that was when EC stepped in between the two fighters so that the blue haired warrior could recover.
“As it is, it seems he disabled the security protocols completely for this, you will have to be more careful. I'm sure you know the consequences, yes?” a nod was his answer as he stepped away once more, seeing that Conri had managed to recover from that. He was fighting a simulation of the guy, but somehow he had actually gotten hurt from that strike, and that actually kind of pissed him off a bit. Hiding behind the simulation while he tried to attack the Half-Saiyan? Screw that noise, once he figured out a proper way of dealing with it, he was going to unleash an attack that showed a damn computer generated foe couldn't compare to him. Standing up once more when the scythe came again he used his cybernetic arm to block it, channeling his Ki through the metallic appendage to prevent the scythe from cutting through it. When he had done that he launched a point blank Renzoku Energy Dan right into his chest to push him away and out of melee range. If he used a scythe then the Half-Saiyan would use range to counter it, but he would need to come up with a technique to really turn things in his favor.
When the dust cleared it turned out that what he was fighting wasn't normal at all, it looked like an amalgamation of different races sewn together to create...this thing. There were pieces of Saiyan or possibly human, with Icejin, there was some Namekian parts as well and lots of other races that he hadn't met before this moment. This was going to be quite an interesting fight especially without knowing what the hell this thing was or what it could fully do. This was why he needed to create an attack that could take it out in a single strike, it would have to be something that made a narrow window of avoiding it. Which meant he needed something that took him into melee range with the creature that was named Zanuka and deal the blow at point blank range. Before that however he would need to make sure that his power wasn't going to be easy to overcome for this bastard either. So taking the time he pushed himself into the next stage of super saiyan that he had discovered, it came with a slight increase to his muscle mass but increase his capabilities by quite a bit. Now he was ready to take this bastard on without too much worry of getting anymore injured, it was probably not the best to do this while he was injured and worn out from the precious spar though.
That was when he suddenly felt a strange warmth on his back and turned to see that EC was standing there using the same technique a Namekian had used on him long ago. He not only felt the pain disappear but his power surged as if he was starting this fight fresh, he guess the tables were turned at this point. Still with this being one-sided against him he was going to need to be extremely careful about how he handled this situation. One wrong move and while he might not be actually dead, the overload to his mind would put him in a state that was close enough. Setting his stance he watched the abomination as it tried to move and track how well he followed it, for the time being Conri would stay still and just keep his eyes on it. Thinking through what he would need to get past the defensive ability of the Icejin while overcoming the Namekian ability to regenerate, he wondered if he had a technique with that kind of power. He couldn't use Indra's Spear in this situation as it would cause too much of a backlash for him; he needed something that had power without the drawback of causing damage.
Slowly he would turn to keep his opponent within his field of view, there would be no easy point of attack for this hunter. He didn't even know why he was being hunted in the first place which made it that much more annoying to deal with. Either way it was time to get this whole showdown started and if Zanuka wasn't going to start things off then Conri himself would with a trick he picked up on Namek. Holding his fingers to his forehead for a short time, he then extended them and fired off a drilling beam towards the scythe wielding maniac hoping to pierce his chest with it. Unfortunately, such would not be the case as the creature not only had managed to dodge, but there was another attack that intercepted it. As if one of these guys wasn't bad enough, there was now a small group of simulated opponents of what he could only imagine were really people coming after him as well, like the Zanuka guy. The strange part wasn't that there were more of them, what was really odd about all this was that it seemed like they were fighting each other as much as trying to fight him and EC. Two of which were actual groups, trios from the looks of it, while the other looked like a stealth assassin of sorts wielding a bow as his main weapon. The fuck did he do to get so damn popular with nut jobs like these? Before he could try to figure the answer, Zanuka had come from behind for another attack but was only met with the crossed metallic arms to stop the scythe's assault.
However, Zanuka would soon learn that in terms of power Conri was a bit of a badass because he had an extra trump card at his disposal. Drawing out the larger power that slept within him his muscles expanded even more, greatly increasing his offensive and defensive capabilities even if the mass did managed to slow him down. He unleashed a Masenko from this position as his hands were already brought together and sent the creature flying into a nearby building. With a single hand aimed towards the same building, he brought it and the buildings that stood next to it crumbling down upon the man that had started this fight. His psychokinetic abilities having been greatly amplified as well, to the extent that it surprised him what he could do with them. There was some testing he wanted to try out later on, but he would let that wait for the time being as he readied up some spider silk and put it over the fallen debris pile. Before he launched a series of Ball Lightnings towards the others, each one moving randomly and making it hard for his attackers to track them. All of them except for the one that looked like an assassin anyways, it seemed that he managed to dodge it before it could hit him and destroy it with a blast of his own. It seemed that his opponent would be this red assassin now, given that he was the only one able to avoid the attack and not get blasted a good distance away.
The hair on the back of his neck were standing on edge as he stared down the red warrior, one thing was clear from that; this man was incredibly dangerous. That meant no holding back, everything he had would be used to bring this bastard down and that meant the new technique he needed for the other guy as well. Which he was still trying to figure out until he saw EC as well, who had taken to fighting the two groups of three on his own. Freakin' bastard having so much power that he could do that to six people...wait, that actually gave him an idea for how to deal with Zanuka and this other bastard. Which reminded him, he should at least ask who the hell this guy was given that the other freak had at least introduced himself.
“So, who the hell--”
“My name is Stalker, and I am a hunter who has come to see which of us is the stronger,” the strange voice came from behind the mask. Reaching to his back he pulled out a large shuriken that seemed to glow with a strange power readying himself for the battle that was to come. Sadly for him it would not come before Conri had a chance to mock him, because who could resist doing so with a name like that?
“Wait, you named yourself Stalker? Dude, don't you know that stalkers are generally considered to be creepy as hell people? I mean yeah, being an assassin or hunter is cool, but you just killed yourself with that name. You should really pick a better name man,” he started to laugh, but was soon cut off as the shuriken came flying passed his head. A small cut formed on his cheek and the pain surged through him once more, but thanks to his higher power it was much less painful than the first strike. Cracking his knuckles, he supposed he should actually get serious then if this guy was going to purposely miss to make a point. Aura flaring to life as a golden lightning bolt, it seemed that Conri was finally ready to unleash his full potential in this form for the first time. Taking a deep breath he focused on the area around them while keeping his eyes on Stalker, to watch his movements.
“Good, now it seems like you will take me seriously in this fight despite my name.”
“Yeah, congratulations on making me this serious about a fight in a long time,” with that he moved forward with such speed that it seemed to catch the assassin off guard himself, only to barely block the punch from the Half-Saiyan. Blocking was not in his best interest with this form, however, as the power broke through the block and sent him spiraling through a row of buildings. There was steam rising from his fist from the friction the punch created, as he returned to a normal stance and waited for his opponent to dig himself out from beneath the debris. Meanwhile he would be preparing a technique that he had learned not too long ago, as he gathered an immense amount of power into his leg. So much and so powerful that it began to disturb the air around his body, a good thing to him because it showed that this technique was not one for messing around. The air around him crackled with energy as lightning began to infuse with his form, it was being drawn to him due to the forming of this new technique.
Rushing forward to where that Stalker person had crashed just as he had dug himself out and smashed him back into the rubble with the powerful kick and pushing him further against the ground. The sickening crack of his ribcage being broken could be heard for quite a bit as it stopped the two groups and EC from fighting for a few seconds. The ancient human grinning slightly as he realized what had happened and let his sense of pride inflate to an unhealthy degree. The fight wasn't over so easily though as a large burst of power had launched the blue haired warrior back out of the crater he had created with the kick. Stalker then split himself into multiple copies, but there was something strange here, he did not lose much power in doing so. Great it just became a numbers game and Conri was without a means to increase his own numbers to counter them. Well he would just have to overcome quantity with quality then, that was all it meant and he was more than up for that challenge. They all moved towards each other at the same time, despite the mass increase he was still capable of utilizing an impressive speed. The fight was actually a bit one-sided against him, for every punch he threw at one, there were four more coming at him. Despite his edge in power the damage was starting to build up once more, even after the healing that EC had administered to him.
That was when the truly odd thing happened Zanuka the first hunter to attack him had actually take a swing at two of the Stalker clones. Suddenly pressing his back to Conri's as they were encircled once more by the group and before the question could be asked it was answered. “I dislike tactics like these so I will help in dispatching them for the time being, but once it is just the original left we will once more be enemies,” it was an interesting way of thinking. One he would have to be glad for later on because right now they had to deal with a bunch of pain in the ass assassins. Exchanging attacks once more, it was much easier to deal with multiple attacks that didn't come from every direction and he could block and parry. Although it proved the point that he still had a long way to go, if he was truly a master then he would be able to deal with all of these people at once. Kind of like what EC was doing himself, and he would have to set aside time to fix that problem.
It didn't take too long to deal with the fakes as he utilized his Champion's Cannon and his new technique that he would dub the Wolf King Kick. Both attacks capable of doing incredible damage to their targets had managed to take down the duplicates. As it seemed their speed and offense were greater than their defensive abilities, which was something he wished he had known about earlier. It would have made this whole battle a lot easier to deal with and wouldn't have required him to get help from the Zanuka guy either. Still, he saw the guy in a bit of a different light....even if he was here to kill Conri from what he could gather. When Zanuka was done he nodded his head and walked to a space that was between Conri and Stalker, turning the fight into a three way that was likely to turn bloody. Not that it wasn't already with the wounds they had all sustained from that last little skirmish, but it would more than likely become a lot worse from this point forward. None of them moved for the longest time as each one tried to play against the minds of their opponents and see who would cave first. The one that did break would likely be attacked on two fronts being considered the weakest of the three here, which could also be played as an advantage.
With that thought in his head he made it seem like he had backed down mentally from the other two, watching as they both moved in for the strike from different sides. When they attacked the would be surprised to see that he managed to block both of their attacks hands being used to stop Stalker's and his legs stopping Zanuka's. While he had a hold of them he used his strength to swing Zanuka into Stalker and launch them away from him before unleashing as Renzoku Energy Dan upon them. It wouldn't be highly damaging, but it would show that he was not a warrior to be underestimated by anyone, because he would use everything to his advantage. He decided to try a new stance, and shifted his pose to that of standing and facing neither opponent but instead keeping his field of vision completely wide while his hands were at his side. If they truly wanted to come at him now thinking that his guard was done then they would be in for an unpleasant surprise. Neither of them were unskilled as warriors, however, and soon began to try circling him and each other, not wanting to open themselves up to attack yet not foolish enough to attack recklessly either.
Where would they strike from, how would they attack, and how could they react all were thoughts that each of the three were considering while looking for an opening. To enter this battle would be to open yourself up to a three front assault because they were at the point where any sudden movements would be retaliated against with the utmost deadly force. These three had entered a stage where the next attack would likely be the last because they were all charging their strongest attacks to their fullest. The first one to attack was likely going to be the one laying on the ground and given that only he seemed to be getting the worst of the damage based on how he was becoming more mentally exhausted, Conri decided it wouldn't be him. All three were staring to such an extent that the air was heavy with the tension, and each one of them was trying to hold off from being the first to act. If they were put into such a disadvantaged position that it would be almost impossible to pull off a win. Although he had to admit his saiyan side was demanding that he attack first so that he could pull it off and prove that he was the strongest one there.
Well it looked like he was gonna be stupid then because he gave into the call to show that he was the strongest one there by overcoming the dire odds. Launching himself at Stalker the Half-Saiyan spins in mid air and using all of his momentum to power the kick that was glowing with power. When it hit there was a large burst of force as the kick connected with Stalkers attack, the Assassin having rushed forward with a burst of speed as he tried to slash Conri in half. The attacks clashing against each other and unleashing power in every direction as though a nuclear bomb was going off where they had collided. Everything right around them was reduced to dust in the blink of an eye, and all other fighting halted to see the spectacle that was taking place right near them. However, due to his ultra form being active his kick did have more power than Stalker's attack and it was only due to this that he managed to push through the release of power and smash the blade before his foot pierced through his enemy's chest. The sheer might behind the attack would simply rip the simulated body in half removing it completely from the room. That left only one person on his end of the fighting as he turned to get hit with a powerful plasma blast that sent him flying back and bouncing along the ground. The sheer power alone was sending immense pain through his body, but the mental backlash from the simulator was multiplying that pain a thousand fold. He could even hear anything above the sound of his own pained scream, as his flesh was burnt and distorted by the attack.
Was this it? Did he do all this fighting and all this training just to get to this point before he would perish at the hands of someone who chased him for an unknown reason? As much as he hated it, he would not say it wasn't unfair either, there had been plenty of times where he escaped death already. He just was really pissed that he didn't even know why he was being attacked, was it the church the sent these guys, someone he met and forgot, or someone that just thought he was a good target? Body and mind were both in anguish yet it seemed to still not be enough to finish him, but that would change as Zanuka neared closer to him. There was a cold, empty gaze in his eyes as he prepared another attack in his hand, the final blow that would put an end to it for Conri. It had been a long run and he defied a lot of odds, but he supposed that there would be a limit to it as well. Smirking he couldn't help but laugh at the timing of all this, it was as soon as he had officially become the Guardian of the Earth. When Zanuka reached him it seemed that he understood the question in Conri's eyes since his voice would not come out due to becoming hoarse from the screaming.
“We have heard a lot about you through various sources, Conri Lane. You and others around the universe, your actions have intrigued us and we wished to see who was stronger. We just decided to start with you,” his tone was casual, not caring about what kind of actions they would have to take to get this fight. Did that mean that if they hadn't used the simulator they could have come to Earth and harmed its people for their own selfishness? His fists would slowly clench as his hands dug into the ground, and he could feel his anger taking over. It would numb his pain and give him a surge of energy as his adrenaline went into overdrive demanding that he do something about these bastards. He had to agree with it as well, if he was going to be getting taken out at this point anyways, then he should teach these bastards that it wasn't good to think they could do as the pleased. He was going to start teaching those kinds of people that there WERE consequences to their actions and that in this case it was not good. First would come the psychokinetic wave of energy to push Zanuka away and disrupt him enough that if he fired his attack Conri would have time to evade it. Then he would push himself to his feet before summoning Indra's Spear to his hand, despite the backlash it would cause his mind, if it was gonna leave him almost dead anyways then he had nothing to worry about now. Although there was a sudden change in the atmosphere before he could utilize it, as his body felt a bit lighter than it had moments ago. The limiter had been restored for him it seemed, but the damage was done already he would need to rest for quite a while after this little exchange.
Zanuka seemed to be the most surprised by the change as he began to tap rapidly at the device on his arm before the ever familiar voice of his ship made itself heard. “Sorry, I got bored of their little game so I decided to change the rules and reverse the situation. You really thought you could out hack me dearie? I let you do all this because I was bored, now I'm bored of you and think Conri should clear out the rest of the trash,” a teasing little giggle came from the ship. God that was seriously creepy with her, but he had to grin as well, she was on his side through it all even if she was a bitch at times. Never would he actually say that too her though, she had control over the gravity settings and anything that he said that she didn't like could end badly for him. Also simulators, the last thing he needed was to face off against fifty giant creatures each with the power of a super saiyan because he said something stupid. Then again it was probably bad that he was so afraid of her, and laughed it away. Now since he had a bit more leeway with things here though, he was going to really have some fun as he threw Indra's Spear into the ground in front of Zanuka before taking to the air and charging energy into his leg. The explosion sent the wanna be bio-android flying into the air his screams belaying the pain that he had felt not too long ago himself. That was not where it was going to end for him though, because he had a lot more pain coming his way, Conri was going to pay him back ten fold as bolts of lightning came raining down upon him.
Each bolt elicited a new cry from the creature as everyone in the simulation looked on with something of a frightened expression. All except for EC who had a raised eyebrow at his descendent's sudden shift to a more violent tone, not even when he had been angered by the human had he displayed such aggression. It seemed that there was a true beast slumbering within the Half-Saiyan for when his anger had reached its peak he became much more dangerous and perhaps a bit cruel in his attacks. That or he was being incredibly thorough and that was equally as worrisome as it meant something had set him off to want to see this person put down for good. Without the ability to read minds he couldn't understand his reasoning, but it seemed that he was letting loose with everything he had, he supposed that was the one thing about the kid. He tended to really unleash his fully capabilities when he had a reason to for better or worse, he just hoped that it wouldn't backfire on his successor.
As the bolts came to an end Conri was already in close range of Zanuka to smash into him with the Wolf King Kick and sending him into the ground with the strength behind it. Taking a few deep, steady breathes he tried to relax some after throwing out all those attacks in quick succession and to see what happened to Zanuka. When the dust cleared it was interesting to see how much of the sand had been glassed over by the lightning that Conri had thrown down and in the center where a small crater with broken glass was laid the creature that had hunted him. Burns all over his body and then there indented footprint of Conri being showcased on his chest, as he sat unmoving in the crater. At least until his Namekian regenerative capabilities kicked in and got back up once more though it wasn't able to fully heal everything. Unlike a bio-android he did not have all the cells interchanged throughout his entire body, so it was even less effective for him. With a sound of annoyance from the Half-Saiyan he was about to start once more when his opponent held up his hand in slight defeat. It seemed that he had had enough of a beating for one day as he struggled to even stand, looking at Conri with an intrigued and quizzical expression.
“What?”
“Why is it that you fought so much harder after you were hit with that last attack? I am curious,” it was an honest tone to him. It seemed that he had been unfazed by his actions up until that point and it was understandable that not everyone could always understand Conri's line of thinking. Hell he wasn't even sure if his line of thinking was normal in the first place, but it was who he was and he supposed he should try to explain it the best that he could.
“I figured that if you were going to go to these lengths to get at me in here, then you would do worse on the planet I live and to its inhabitants. That thought just really pissed me off and I figured even if I died in the process I was going to show you that acting like that would get your ass kicked,” he shrugged as that was his only reasoning to the whole situation. Otherwise there wasn't a whole lot else he could say about it, however, he could already hear the thunderous laughter of EC as he heard the reason. The guy was a bit of a dick at times himself. Zanuka looked at him for a few moments before nodding his head and pressing a few buttons to disconnect himself from the simulator. Marisa was in a good mood it seemed as his image slowly started to fade out of the room, though he did have something to say before he left.
“I look forward to meeting for real Conri Lane, we shall have a truly interesting battle on that day and Stalker will be looking for you as well. You served him his third defeat in his entire career, not something that he tends to take lightly. Just a word of caution,” he said fading away completely. Not soon enough after that for the Half-Saiyan's likings did the others flee from the simulator as well, leaving only Conri, EC, and Marisa to their own devices once more. The older human approaching Conri as if he was going to hit him before he instead put an arm around his shoulder. “Kid, you and I need to have a bit of an extra session, I saw the technique you used against those guys. You were using my Wolf King Kick, little rascal, you should have let me show it to you properly beforehand you could have really done a number then!”
As he said that though Conri stared at him expectantly, waiting for him to start teaching him more thoroughly about that technique rather than just shoving it into his head and letting him figure it out on his own. The message was received and EC moved a few feet a way to start gathering the power for the technique, showing Conri a faster way to do it as well. That was helpful in its own way, it allowed him to work with it a lot easier than before, but he could at least make good use of it in the future. “Now, here comes the really tricky part that you didn't pay attention to before, the energy can be kept in the leg, but if you ever need a quick ranged attack just throw out your leg and..,” his voice trailed off as he threw out his leg in example sending a large expulsion of energy out towards the now open desert.
“It'll take a bit to get the power back into your leg, but if used right it can be a nice surprise and an extremely effective weapon. Keep that in mind for next time will ya? Now, you practice that a bit and I'll see how good you really are at learning,” he said moving to a spot of sand and flopping down to watch Conri work his magic. No pressure at all except for having the guy that created it watching your every step to see if you're doing it right. That or possibly yell at you if you do it wrong, cause he's had those kinds of teachers before as well, annoying bastards is what they were really.
Walking to where EC had been standing Conri focuses the energy into his own leg focusing before he let out a kick and released the energy. His first try wasn't so good though as all it did was release a massive point blank explosion, while cool and powerful also didn't have anywhere near the range he wanted. Concentrating once more he focused his mind and this time imagined the energy extending from him as if it were simply part of his body reaching out. This time it extended from his foot and carved a large gouge into the ground that extended for a good few miles in the simulation. The power behind the kick was a bit more than he had expected, but then he had been using it only to amplify his kicks and that couldn't accurately display the power that he wielded. A small smirk played on his lips as he saw what he could do with this and he turned, walking up to EC before bowing his head in respect to the man. He owed him a lot for teaching him that ability of the technique otherwise he would have never been using it to its full potential.
“Okay, while it has been fun after all that I need shower and sleep, I'll be back for another training session ya old geezer,” he waved towards the human, hearing him laugh as the machinery was shut down for the time being. After all that happened he was going to need to get some rest and relax for at least a few hours before trying his hand at this again. He left the shutdown completely to Marisa for a change, being far too worn out for his own good really.
(Pl please, heavy weights are being used!)

Wolf King Kick
Gathering a high concentration of Ki into his leg he utilizes it in all of his kicks for maximum damage, he is also capable of unleashing the energy from his leg into a devastating ranged attack. If it is launched from the leg like that, it will take a turn for him to refocus the energy into his leg. When fully charged this attack can be a truly devastating one, especially if both attacks styles are utilized one after the other in the same spot.]
