His shower was done and he had decided to go for a bit of less formal dress style for his next training session just wearing the weighted vest he had bought. His pants more of simple pair of pants, not rigid or loose, so they weren't exactly suited for training, but he should be prepared to fight in any situation anyways so what the hell, right? Entering the gravity chamber he had Marisa set it to sixty times the normal amount of gravity, letting the pressure wash over him as it tried to press him down to the ground. He stood strong though letting his body become used to it before he activated the simulator once more. This time would be a bit different for him since he had a specific goal in mind for him, and wrapping his hands in rope would be the first step. He had learned quite a bit about various fighting styles over the last six months and decided to use that knowledge to further strengthen his own. That meant become more dangerous to those that threatened the safety of his planet and its people, a few specific threats came to mind. Like Arctic on Beta, while he never met him personally, he had heard plenty about the PTO and its practices. If they ever came to Earth then he wanted to be prepared to send them right back to Beta empty handed and with a lesson learned about what planet to not mess with. The same would be for any others that came to Earth thinking that they could take it for their own, it was the planet of the humans and it would stay that way.
Marisa had summoned EC into the simulation for training, and he would train with him but first there was something that he wanted to do as well. He walked up to the controls and created the one opponent that would be able to match him blow for blow and know all his moves. It would push him into creating new tactics to deal with the changing situation, if he didn't then he would eventually stagnate and become ineffective. He was also likely a lot harsher on himself now than anyone else could be at this point, because he had an entire planet to protect. If Conri slacked off for even a moment it could mean that he wasn't strong enough to take out any threats that came towards the Earth and that was something he wouldn't allow of himself. No matter who it was, he would become someone capable of beating them into the ground for threatening the people he protected. It did bring up another interesting question for him though and he supposed it would be a defining point for him, but he would deal with it at the time. Right now, he had someone's ass to kick as the simulator finished creating the opponent that he would be going up against today. He had to admit the guy looked like a badass what with blue hair, two cybernetic arms, a few scars along what was visible of his body. Dressed in a weighted vest and with a pair of simple pants, the guy was truly a wondrous sight to behold.
EC looked on with a curious expression before moving to the side so that he could get a better view of the fight that was about to go down. If only there was some popcorn that he could watch this, it was like one of those pay-per-view fights that everyone wanted to see. It was Conri versus Conri in a fight that would not end until one of them was done for the count and could not get back up. They each had the same type of attacks and the same regular strategies, it was time to see how things would wind up if he had to fight an evil clone or something. They both started off the same way using basic punches and kicks to get a feel for each other, but then again each knew the fighting style of the other. Which was where things would really start to take an interesting turn as they each tried out various new tactics to catch each other off guard. The clone would try to rain down bolts of lightning like he had done in the last training session, which would be a good tactic if not for the fact that the original knew it as well. Whereas Conri decided to try something new by combining two different techniques together, first throwing out the spider silk and to catch the fake version in some way. The reaction his clone had was to grab the silk and wrap it around his fist to try pulling Conri closer, but that was where the trap laid as well. Lightning would go coursing through the spider silk without any restriction to it, and electrocuting his adversary with a high bit of voltage and amperage.
Unfortunately it didn't last long as the familiar glow of radiant edge formed around his clones hand and he cut himself free before too much damage was done. Smart move, even if it was his opponent that pulled it off, but he had to give credit where credit was due. Now it seemed like things were going to escalate since his clone use Fragarach to create a large caliber pistol and rush forward at Conri to engage in close range combat. With energy wrapped around his hand in the form of radiant edge and the new pistol, it seemed that he was going to mix melee and ranged combat to an extent. He supposed that normally it would work well, but if his clone had his knowledge then there was something that he was forgetting. It was one of the first tings they had learned on their trip and he supposed now was a good time to remind him. Conri summoned the blade armor around him, as the radiant edge clashed against it, as he moved to grab the pistol's barrel in his hand, stopping the attack cold. There wasn't a lot that this combination could do against the armor, Conri knew that and yet, oh shit that sneaky little bastard. Before he could properly react the pistol had been dropped and Indra's Spear was being stabbed into the armor sending Conri flying away in the blade armor. If he took it down he would be damaged far worse than if he kept it on, sneaky bastard clone. He grinned though, that had been a good strategy to make him look away from the situation fully and focus on what he was doing at the moment.
The explosion engulfed his entire body and thanks to the armor a lot of it had been mitigated, but the armor itself was now in shambles around his form. Fading away as he fell back to the ground, he would have to think of something to get back at his clone for that. For now though he was going to have fun in this battle, screw being so serious, that was what EC always said right? Well he was going to take that advice to heart now as his clone came rushing after him as if to catch him in a weakened position. Well, he couldn't have that could he, so channeling the power of the Wolf King Kick into his right leg he flipped in midair and brought it down in an ax kick. As he was about to land his clone unleashed the Howl of the Wolf, causing a serious hit to his whole body and disorienting him as he fell. The thing about this though, free falling did not require him to aim his attack, and the sickening crunch of a shoulder being dislocated echoed throughout the chamber. Both combatants falling over in pain from different reasons and Conri would have to deal with the dizziness and slightly blurred vision he was having. After a few moments they both managed to push themselves to their feet with the clone popping his shoulder back into place, another sickening crunch noise. Neither of them were ready to let this end too early, so the thing that they needed to do now was step this fight up a notch as they both ascended to their super saiyan form. Waves of energy radiated from their forms as they didn't hold anything back, causing the wind to shift and stir just from them standing and staring at each other.
Slowly they began to circle each other like two predators waiting for the moment that their enemy dropped their guard for even a second. With them both being the same person it was like two wolves, aggressive and dangerous, it would be a deciding battle of who was truly the Alpha between these two beasts. No longer were they simply human or saiyan, they had gone past that at least in how they approached battle. When the time did come to battle they both knew that it was no longer time to play around or be nice, it was a time for decisive blows, even if those blows were aimed to kill who they were fighting. Granted the actual killing would be reserved for those that were truly enemies, not those that were in spars, the exception being here since they were the same person essentially. It was their blood and nature that called to them, demanding that they defeat the other and prove that they were the superior Conri. It was all very weird considering it meant Conri would kick his own ass to prove that he was better than himself, but he wasn't in the frame of mind to consider that either. They both gathered energy into their fist and leg, two different attacks being utilized at the same time, but there was something that the original Conri was planning as well. An attack that he remembered thanks to his clone used the radiant edge against him, and it was one that he wanted to learn himself. Well, make it two because he had his two surprises in store for his clone that would probably see this battle coming to an end soon.
He had to concentrate incredibly hard right now, because he wasn't just about to use two techniques at once, he was actually about to use four of them. That would not only have a draining effect on him, but it would probably be quite a bit painful, so he had to gather himself enough to push through it. The first signal to his clone that he was going to go beyond what they were both thinking as the Ki being gathered into his other hand. Then it would be his whole body being infused with Ki for a bit, as if to reinforce it for a burst of attack and pain. If he couldn't do this much then there was not much point in calling himself a warrior, he would push beyond his limits and ascend to the top and the first step on that journey would be none other than himself. The leaf on a nearby tree would shake loose from the strong winds blowing through the area, and was it floated in the updrafts moved between the two warriors and slowly sank. When it reached about neck level on them however, it was suddenly destroyed in a collision of two cybernetic fists that released a devastating shock wave in all directions. The fake Conri had spun his foot around to kick the real one with the wolf king kick, but would soon wind that his foot passed through without touching anything solid. In a brilliant burst of speed, Conri had managed to pull off the Zanzoken to wind up behind his clone utilizing his own Wolf King Kick to send him soaring into the air.
As he soared in the air, the energy in his left hand condensed into a disc shape, before starting to rotate faster and faster until the edge became something that could cut through all material in its path. It was the technique of one of the former heroes of Earth, a human that had fought against even the most dangerous of the enemies the Earth faced. He was one that showed that humans could easily overcome their limits with the right motivation, he hoped to prove that even more in the time to come. He had a plan for a group to come together and protect the planet from threats, but he had to make sure that they were truly trustworthy. That was for a later time though as his clone ascended higher into the air, he threw the disc at him aiming for one of the cybernetic arms as opposed to outright trying to kill him. It hit with deadly accuracy as well as the right arm was lopped off with no resistance, the only good thing about it was that there were no pain receptors. Although the fake Conri did not look very pleased about losing another arm, that was technically three for him. Unfortunately using all those right after the other like that had left him a little drained, so he would have to play defensively for a bit. Of course, the fake Conri saw this and took it as his chance to attack, pointing his hand at him and firing off a Renzoku Energy Dan from across the way. All he could do was cross his arms in front of him as the blasts rained down on him like explosive ordinance. The only saving grace he had right now was that his body had been trained to be incredibly tough so that it could withstand this kind of thing.
Reaching deep down he gathered the power to push into his ascended super saiyan form before the barrage had finished hitting him, the extra power allowed him to deal with the onslaught. The clone wouldn't allow him to get the edge either and ascended even higher himself, the battle escalating to an even more dangerous level. He was so glad that this fight was contained within the simulator, but it would probably be a bit more fun if this was real as well. Shaking his head, he couldn't think like that either and he should focus on the fight right now before thinking of anything else. Charging up Ki into each hand he was about to go for double what his clone thought up, as he unleashed two Renzoku Energy Dan, one from each hand. The sky become covered in golden energy as the blasts fired off one after the other from his hands like a machine gun. The all converged on the clone raining down on top of him before culminating into a massive explosion that was felt by all present in the simulator. He knew better than to assume that those attacks had taken care of him, but it was more of a means to weaken him all the same. A familiar hum came through the cloud of dust that covered ground zero of the attacks, it was one that he knew quite well after all the time spent training the skill. It was his electromagnetic barrier that would be making that noise, and when the dust settled he would be proven right. The clone was standing with heavy breath and his right arm crossed in front of his body, and the barrier surrounding him completely. The downside is that he would be stuck in place for a bit and it gave the real Conri more than enough time to fully prepare for when it went down.
Though he supposed the other Conri could as well from the inside, so it was going to be an interesting showdown once more, and possibly the last one of their battle. Sitting in a meditative stance he would use the time to regain as much strength as he could before preparing his attacks. The more refreshed he was the better able to handle anything that was thrown his way and the more likely he could take advantage over his opponent only having one arm. Ten minutes had passed as the two continued to stare through the barrier, apparently that guy got to be a jerk and have his last longer as well, before it fell and the two were getting up to resume their fight. Since it was the last round they both decided that it should be at the top of their games and summoned forth the power of the ultra super saiyan form, their muscle mass expanded to an almost ridiculous degree. Their power going up even more than it was in their ascended form as they began to clash over and over with their fists, Conri having the advantage with two as he pushed his clone back from the extra strikes. Forming the radiant edge around his hand he made a slashing motion towards the throat of his clone who moved to stop the strike only to learn that it had been a bluff instead. The real aim was to get his hand that close, as he had Ki charged into two of his fingers aiming it up into the chin of the fake, and with a slight smirk said, ”I think it's time you surrendered, you don't have a skill to dodge from this close of a range before I can let go of the energy.”
It was the truth and they both knew it, and with a heavy sigh the Conri clone raised his hands in defeat and Marisa sent him away without anymore fighting. EC who had been watching the whole thing until now came forward clapping his hands for his student, and the odd thing was it sounded genuine, which was a rare thing from the man. “Good showing kid, and while I always enjoy a good show every now and then, I gotta ask why you asked me to be present here? I mean, are you gonna try sparring me next in that condition?” he asked with a sincere curiosity, the prospect of it intrigued him, wondering if his young protege was hiding something more to his power.
“Nah, I just wanted you to show me some more techniques since you seem to like showing them off so much,” this time it was Conri's turn to grin. After that rough battle he deserved to have a bit of relaxation and fun, so he was going to take full advantage of it. Plus he wanted to get stronger a lot faster and if he had a more powerful technique to show him then he planned to take advantage of that fact as well.
“Mm, alright. I'll show you one, but this one you're not strong enough to handle yet, when you get some more power under your belt then I'll fully teach it to you,” he explained before moving a good bit of distance away. From a standing position, he put his arms stretched out to each side before slowly rotating them in a circle in front of his chest, and that was when Conri could feel it. That energy was coming from around the area to gather into that point, as he continued to move his arms in a slow and careful circle. Finally, he would draw it and the energy he gathered back to the left side of his body and added his own Ki into the attack making it even stronger feeling than it had been moments ago. When he unleashed it, it created a massive beam that not only had a huge radius, but also extended for what he could assume was ages even within the simulated world. The attack was truly a terrifying thing, as the power had left his own body shaking, though he couldn't tell if it was from fear or excitement at the prospect of facing and attempting to defeat such a technique.
Ec returned to Conri and helped him up before walking him to the door of the simulator, “Go get some rest kid. If you want to learn that technique then you're going to have to get a lot stronger quickly, so power nap and then get back here so we can spar. I look forward to seeing what you can do after that fight I witnessed.” There was no way the Half-Saiyan could argue this time, he left the gravity chamber letting Marisa shut it all down once more and then headed to take a quick shower followed by a nap. Today had been a good training session he felt.
