The streets of Alpha Prime were still as disgusting as they were compared to six months ago. It was not a matter of who was in power like those that resided within the higher mansions tried to convey. An icejin overlord that loved sending armies to clear planets for sale to private investors or a banished prince that now led universal parasites to Beta Minor. Or the newly crowned leader of Alpha Prime which was in fact a lackey of the previous lord that preferred to remain in the shadows. They were all disgusting. They had no idea what was actually happening in their own kingdom. She had seen situations like this before and nothing was ever as advertised. It was a very sad reality.
Nelliel’s eyes carved the street into pieces as they darted back and forth. From the window on the second floor there was nothing she couldn’t see. This little alley was a dead end and in the middle of the more seedy part of the space station. It was here that she had formed her group. She was the one that provided them guidance and the will to survive. Sure it was not the most conventional means but it was a life and something that they could depend upon. The smell of the smoke from the other room began to waft through the air as her white tipped black hair brushed against the window frame. A slight sigh left her lips as she wondered if there was any potential for something truly unique here in the Omega Collective. That was what she longed for; something unique that was worth her time. The idea of corrupting something that was pure and making it what the universe needs someone that walks between the worlds and can bring about change. Of course the change she wanted was to be in her favor and in a manner that was violent but that was beside the point.
“I need something to keep me entertained…things really have become so droll…” Looking to the sky a smile grew across her face. “Shizukesa, I know you are listening you little sweet princess, why don’t you actually send me something that is worth my attention? I would love to corrupt something of yours and I know you would like to ‘save me’. It is has been much too long since we sparred that way.” Nelliel spouted off with a sarcastic tone. She was so bored that she would take anything right now.

There really was nothing like it.
The wind whipped through her hair, auburn locked straying out behind her like ribbons. Her body tingled in excitement, the mere joy of flying cause her to cry out with joy. It was musical and so very rare for her to do. This was magic. This was all she hoped for. Across the red moon she flew, spinning in the air. Never had she felt so free, so amazing, so--
Pain lanced through her as an arrow dug in through her wings. Her cry no longer echoed pleasure, pain lancing through her. She tried to stay aloft, but the distraction was too great. down she fell, crashing through the leaves of the trees. The ground took forever to meet her, and yet she landed upon it too son. Her body stung, her skin struggling to repair the damage the fall had done. Her wings draped across her, the crimson already spreading through the veins and onto the ground. Her shoulder ached and Kallen was sure she had knocked it out of her socket. Bleary eyed with pain, her eyes sought the arrow in her wing. It was pure gold, the arrowhead a diamond. Aster's... But how? How did he find her. Terror gripped her as she heard him land behind her. She turned and stared into his crazed face, blood running freely from his temple, a black ooze.
"You thought you could run? From me?!" He reached for her and Kallen screamed.
No, not her own scream. Her eyes snapped open, seeking the source of the noise. The scream came again and Kallen recognized it to be one of delight. With a sigh, she straightened, peering out to the streets below. She had found this place the other night, an almost cave-like room at the top of a building. It was closed off and hidden, a project that had never been finished. For now, it was her home. Kallen was alright with that. It protected her from prying eyes, and flight was the only way to reach it. She was a bird looking down on the city, and she was okay with that. Her wings moved off her, stretching. Like so many nights before, they had shielded her from what elements there were here on a place called Alpha Prime. It was a curious name, apart of something called the Omega System, whatever that was. With a stretch, Kallen stood and moved to the edge of the building. It had been a dream, or more so a memory. Her wing was totally healed, as was her tongue. She could speak unhindered and not even her nursemaids would be able to tell a difference in her voice. Out of habit, she tucked the opal blade she slept with back into her boot. Years of sleep never truly being safe had taught her many things. Sleeping with one eye open was far too obvious.
With a roll of her shoulders, Kallen's wings flared. Iridescent blues and purples danced through them, lit by the red lights below. She needed to move, gather more information about this world and how to survive in it. With one last stretch, she stepped off the platform. Down she fell before finally flapping her wings and propelling herself up into the sky. She flew slowly, form only a shadow in the night.

The woman was a puzzling creature. She certainly did not fit the look of those that normally came down her little pocket of Omega. She was powerful that was for sure but nothing that she had never seen before. Nelliel had seen the wars that had ravaged Hell. She had even been in on a few attacks during the Great War that had raged between Heaven and Hell. She had seen the pathetic snake people clinging to their ruins and she had seen the glory that was the Demon Queen. But this was something else. There was a thrill that lifted through her soul and her body.
“Shizu…you really did send me something special now didn’t you…” Nelliel curled under her lips. With a few taps on the window sill a band of little children covered in grime appeared in the doorway. Lifting her finger in the air with a few subtle motions one child emerged from the crowd and walked up to the woman. She pointed out the woman to the little girl. “I want you to bring her to me. Distract her. Lure her. I don’t care. I just want her here. Now go.” The child immediately ran off with the group following close behind. The woman lifted the jeweled talon to her lips. It was so glorious to watch the kais entertain her. Shizukesa had proven to be amusing in the things that she sent her. She had tried so hard to get Nelliel to turn her back on Hell but there was never a chance of that happening. Now she would have to watch from that pretty little paradise of hers. Nelliel was able to enjoy true freedom. Oh boy was she going to enjoy this freedom.
(Sorry trying to get used to the character again.)

Nothing really changed here, did it? Though, what could she expect in a world that had no real life to it. Everywhere she looked, she saw nothing but artificial life. No trees or plants. No water. She had not yet seen it rain here, and wondered if it could. She would miss that. The thunder storms of her home world were beautiful things to behold. Jagged beams of light dancing across the sky, lighting up the old buildings, turning the gargoyles atop the castle towers into living creatures. The thunder was always loud and covered the booms of the great clock tower in the castle. With a sigh, she continued her flight. She should visit Zasham... now that she had her voice, it would be far easier to communicate with him. He'd probably appreciate it too, seeing as how many times he'd slipped up and spoke aloud instead of using his thought speak. But, that was for another time. Right now she would continue to investigate on her own. Quietly, she landed in an alley way. Her wings moved inside her body with a roll of her shoulders and she walked forward. There seemed to be an inflow of people arriving lately. She had observed what looked like large buses coming from the sky (the sky!) and letting loose people. Kallen hadn't yet learned why, but it made her blending in easier.
She was moving through the throng when a young girl moved in front of her path. Kallen stopped, staring at the young girl. She hardly came up to her hip and had large eyes hidden under a messy crop of hair. Kallen raised a brow and waited for her to move from her way. Instead, the girl continued to stand, staring up at her, unblinking. With a scowl, Kallen moved to step around her. Quickly, the girl moved in her path again.
"Move kid," she said sharply. She hated kids, really did. Once again, she moved to step around her. And once again, the girl moved in front of her. With a growl, she bared her fangs at her threateningly. Looks like no matter where you went, the kids were just as annoying. Still, the girl didn't move. With another growl, Kallen turned and moved the opposite way. Not before she had taken two steps did another little kid--a boy this time--jump in front of her path. She bared her fangs again.
"This is getting old brats. Out. Of. My. Way," she growled again. Still, they stared. Unblinking, unspeaking. Kallen turned again, there was another kid. This was starting to get creepy. Before another could jump in her way, she spun and took off. She dodged around people effortlessly, weaving in and around the crowd. As she darted around one man, she skid to a halt. in front of her was another one of those kids. Gritting her teeth, she took off in another direction. It continued. She would run in one direction only to come face to face with another unblinking, silent kid. She was starting to seriously get the creeps. She even tried to fly once but that was thwarted as another kid appeared on a balcony above her. Currently Kallen was hiding behind a phone booth, hands on her knees as she tried to catch her breath. She didn't get it. Kallen was fast, really fast. How did they keep finding her? She had been playing their game for almost an hour now. Pushing her hair from her eyes, Kallen stood and looked around. She was in a part of the city she didn't recognize. There was hardly anyone here. She didn't see any of those kids, so that was something. With a large sigh, she moved from behind the phone booth and started walking, keeping her eyes out for any of those kids.

The kids had done what they were supposed to do. They were funneling the interesting woman towards Nelliel. Each movement was traced by a puff of smoke that emanated from a long pipe that was pressed to the woman’s lips. Her white hair framed her face and she watched as the woman now wandered into Nelliel’s neighborhood. Her birds flitted and danced across the alleys with their eyes ever aware of the new comer to their neighborhood. That was when her little rats emerged from the crowd once again. They would continue to push the woman towards Nelliel until they forced her into the building that she perched from. She was several stories up however and it was doubtful that she would be noticed.
Once she was pushed inside she would be surprised by what lay inside. There were dozens of people of varying races sprawled out across furniture with a heavy smoke in the air. They would barely move as she would pass. Every once and a while she would see one lift a gun like mechanism with a little glass vial within it. Residing in that little glass vial was a neon blue glowing liquid. Each time someone would pick up the gun they would mutter the following phrase,
‘Zydrate comes in a little glass…the little glass vial goes into the gun like a battery…and the gun goes against your anatomy.’
Zydrate had originally been a drug that was used in surgeries in an effort to keep patients numb and under while the surgery was performed. However in time the former patients became addicted to the feeling and the drug spread throughout the underground. It was known for numbing your mental and physical capacities. The majority of users could not function any more than a heap that was piled in some corner. There were the few cases that were known to be able to function under the drug’s influence. Those were often the heaviest users as they could not seem to function the same after their first hit.
On the higher floors she would find more smoke filled rooms filled with every sexual desire one might be looking for. Males, females, both, neither and the just all around indescribable. It was all there and some might interest the girl but the little birds would continue to push the woman upwards until she reached the room of Nelliel herself. She wanted to see what this little butterfly was in her midst.

Kallen could of kicked herself. She should have known. But the Gods she should have. She played right into their little trap. She had been right to not trust the children. But oh, how easily she had played right into her hands. Xhex would have been so disappointing. She was such an idiot. Like a sheep she had allowed them to herd her into the apartment where their master lay. Like a moth to a flame, and the fly into the web. The first room unsettled her. Drug addicts splayed across the room. Smoke and a heavy, cloying scent filled the air. And under that, like a soft breath of a lover lay a distinct, instantly recognizable sent. Death. She heard the mumbling of the addicts. Something about Zydrate and a gun. If she looked closely through the darkened haze, she could see small glimpses of a glowing liquid. A soft blue is illuminated their pale, emancipated faces. Kallen was lost in disgust, every nerve on end when a hand grasped her leg. With more instinct that thought, Kallen wiped out her opal dagger, slashing off the hand at the wrist. The hand fell from her pant leg, blood pooling. The man who had grabbed her slowly blinked, looking at his hand before smiling and muttering something about a new surgery. More terrified than she would like to admit, Kallen moved away from the man quickly, moving around the bodies of the addicts. She wanted to leave, but those creepy children still moved behind her, unblinking eyes staring at her, creating a wall. The original girl was in front, turning to look at Kallen whenever she lagged behind. Gripping her dagger tightly, she continued.
Up a flight of stairs, down another hallway. It was silent here, so God-awful silent. Even the streets outside could not be heard. Only whispers. The ruffle of clothing and body moving together. That silence scared her the most.
While the first room had been haunting, the next sickened her. People of all races, shapes, and sizes writhed in the room. Every sexual act that could be thought of seemed to take place here. Moans and groans filled the room, smoke and sex polluting the air. Kallen coughed, choking on the sent as it burned her lungs. What was this place? She tired to hurry through, but unlike the barely moving bodies of the addicts, these people could not stop. Before she was halfway through the room, she was grabbed from behind, hands grabbing at her shirt. She spun, bringing her leg around and kicking at the person who grabbed her. Her foot made contact with their head, sending them flying across the room. Most ignored this, the person she had kicked moving to join in with the nearest crowd. A few took interest. Ones with ropes in their hands, whip marks on their body. they leered at her, eyes roving her form and stripping them naked. One moved too close to the girl in front of her. With no hesitation, she watched as the girl strick, dagger going into their side. The creature, for Kallen knew they were not human, howled and dropped down. The girl continued and without encouragement, Kallen rushed after her.As the last child exited the room, Kallen stopped, fist balled and dagger held dangerously.
"Qho are you?! Why have you brought me here?!" she demanded. The little girl simply stared at her before turning and continuing toward another door. Kallen had had enough. Dark sparked of energy formed around her hand and she threw it like a dagger at the girl. It hit the door, just missing her head.
"Answer me!" Kallen snapped, tone a little more desperate than she would have liked. Without a word still, the girl opened the door and stepped in. With a growl, Kallen followed into the final room where the children's master waited.
