It were times like these where the fruits of Zero's training began to show. He'd gone a long way, from not understanding ki and its pathways to unleashing a dozen spheres of energy from the palm of a single hand. It was his Renzoku Energy Dan refined. Ivan had been observing him from within the glass-wall room with AEVA always at a reliable distance for whenever he called. Many thoughts had been brooding through the scientist's mind, and he couldn't help but wonder whether it might be time to brainwash the android again. Usually, he wouldn't give it a second thought, but the android's improvement seemed proportional to his accumulated memory. The android had been gradually displaying an increase of individuality which would prove troublesome for a drone. Ivan couldn't afford to have Zero develop a sense of self, for it would compromise all that made him so unique -an obedient soldier. However, what seemed to stop him was the potential backlash of his actions. What if, by restructuring his chain of memories, the android would lose his ability to harness ki? It would be too humiliating and counterproductive to ask Delashano to teach him again. His abilities as a scientist would be questioned. There was no way the scientist would submit himself to such shame. But... even so...
...
The scientist turned from his workbench, glancing at his prized possession as if it were a stranger. At first, he thought the exhaustion might have been getting to his ears, but after requesting clarification, it proved his ears were not the ones to blame.
"I would like to remove the cannons in my jacket," Model Zero repeated, standing solemnly before his master. It had been the first time the android had asked the man in regards to his own development. Granted, his request was both feasible and appropriate -but still, Ivan was not used to such self-awareness and he was not sure he approved of it. Ever since Model Zero learned to harness the energy within him, many gadgets Ivan had initially created to cover that very weakness became obsolete. For example, the cannons within his red jacket, as stated. The android was superior to biological creatures because of the technology he possessed; then again, his weapons were -admittedly- inferior to any kind of ki construct which could emulate it. If Zero could replace the efficiency of his built-in cannons with a flick of his hand, then it was much more effective to remove the added weight all-together. His body would become more lithe and agile, and just as deadly -if not deadlier. And so it was done. The red jacket Zero wore was replaced by another which did not possess any hidden weapons within; it was nothing more than a piece of armor to protect him from physical attacks. His Renzoku Energy Dan was executed from the palm of a single hand. Dozens of ki blasts would volley from his extended limb, scattering frantically over the target area.
Model Zero floated amidst the gravity chamber, blanketed by pitch black darkness. Numerous times, his built-in scouter would malfunction in the line of battle; not to say it was inefficient, but it was flawed by nature as all things shrivel up and die –including technology. Sixty five times normal gravity loomed over his shoulders, compressing his armor and heavy weights tightly over his body. The android moved to enhance his sensory skills by extending his abilities beyond the lens of his scouter. Closing his eyes as to not tempt himself, he would listen closely to his surroundings and attempt to detect the slight shifts in the air, the sound emitted, the temperature. If he could master the art of ki sense, then he would no longer have to fight with a knife next to his eyes. Whenever his scouter was overwhelmed again, his performance would not suffer due to the fact that he would be able to sense his opponent’s location.
It was odd, less precise, more abstract. To think he knew where his target was positioned within the coordinate plane without calculations. In the world of science, they say that knowing the dimensions of an object mean knowing a thing or two about said object. In this case, without knowing the numbers and digits involved in the procedure, he was able to tell where his adversary was hidden and predict where and when an attack would take place. It was the first time he did not use the Pythagorean Theorem to establish distance between the opponent and himself. Now, he knew the distance, but he could not convert it into something tangible without using his scouter, he could only discern the overall frame. It was almost as though he could feel his opponent -whatever that means.
Three bulbs of incandescent light prod forth from the abysmal darkness surrounding him. They all sprang forth from three separate corners of the room, launched at him from different directions. Zero did not open his eyes however, he would refuse to allow his eyes to guide him; instead, he listened to the vibrant hum which emanated from each individual blast. He allowed himself to be led by the rising heat signature, the sudden breeze which shuffled his golden hair, the -breeze? Model Zero steered his body to the side by manipulating the currents of ki around him. In that very instant, a blade sliced down cleaning through the air, taking a few strands of Zero’s hair with it.
Instinct kicked in. Something so foreign to his logic and tactical reasoning, yet just as valid in the battlefield as any other mechanism; its power proven many times over by saiyans and humans alike. He could not see the blade, no, he would not open his eyes; he could not feel it, that was impossible; he could not sense a blade, not even with his scouter, but something in his hypothetical gut –maybe experience, told him his opponent would slash horizontally across his midsection. Move back. Just slightly. Evade the edge of his blade –Wait. There were three ki blasts which had been released previously. Yes. One of them behind him, he could... -feel- it. Rise... Now!
Model Zero drift just beyond the blade’s reach and ascended higher with his bukujutsu, evading the energy blast which yearned to creep behind him. The sphere rammed into his opponent, confirming his existence. Two more ki blasts, left and right. With a flick of his saber, Model Zero deflected them. But how? The android couldn’t help but question how it was possible that he could know something about something he knew nothing about. How did he know where and when his opponent would attack? How did he know when to evade the ki blast so it would collide with his target? How could he know –anything- about –anyone- without seeing them with his eyes?

Techniques
Standard:
Advanced Ki Sense: Using his inherent ki sensing abilities, the user is able to tell different power signatures apart and recognize those he/she has met before by their signature. He/she is also able to sense someone’s exact power-level, or at least the level they've suppressed it to.
Awareness: Using environmental and physical cues; the user is able to detect approaching individuals without the need of using ki and predict their movements.
