From the creators of the Mulligan comes a brand new idea that totally was not inspired by another player (Conri); the Tech Mulligan! How do we attain such a thing? Well, if you ever find yourself on New Namek, the desire to forget will draw you to a strange and mysterious cave deep beneath the blue planets emerald waters. Here an ancient spirit will ease your pains and eat away those pesky memories. Hell when you wake up, in a field of blue grass and pink flowers, you won't even remember such a cave ever existed! Be wary, as such a process may have unintended side effects (entirely up to the player), after all memories form such an intricate weave. Also be aware that you only get half the tech slots back for whatever techniques you wish to forget (so obviously you have to offer up more than one to receive an empty slot; exceptions being custom Masters/Monarchs as they already cost two to learn). You may be drawn to this hidden locale even if you don't desire tech absolution; there are plenty of things people wish they could forget .
You do not know why you dove into the emerald waters of New Namek, nor why you swam to its murky depths. But it knew; it could feel your misery, you're longing to forget. It wished to free you of this burden, to eat away those haunting memories, and so it called to you. You could not hear it, and yet you came. Without realizing it you would stop at the ocean's floor, before an ancient cave. Entering it brought you to a cramp underwater cavern swirling with strange, mystic energies. As you rise from the emerald pool you look to the end of the cave and see a translucent figure, clad in a dark robe.
"Let me free you of that which binds your soul..."
A voice would whisper into your ear, as if the speaker was standing right beside you. Or did you hear it in your mind? It hungered for memories but it could not take what was not freely given. That was why it summoned you, though you could not fathom it. That was why only those who wished to forget would find themselves before this ancient spirit. And once you had served up that which was meant to be forgotten, the strange essence would rush your, pouring through your body.
That was when you wake up, in a field of blue and pink, a gentle breeze nuzzling you awake. New Namek's beauty spanned all around. You stretch and yawn, your nap having been quite refreshing. Then you think of what you were doing before... Of what lead to such an impromptu rest... But the last thing you would remember... The last thing you could remember... Was your own reflection, tinted green by the planet's unusual water, staring back at you.
