The expression that crept onto Akassa's face was one of slight agitation. For starters, he felt as if he should be facing off against the Queen right away. Again it seems he had misunderstood her. All of those close to her had fought against her in time, but it was far from their first test. General Toa had passed his initial test when coming to her side moments after she had taken the throne. His loyalty was proven at that moment. Sure as time went on he had sparred against her in order to increase his own power and skill set, yet it was not his immediate test. In the case of Nasu, her own brother, he had been thrown into the mix during the attack by the Universal Church of One. Having saved the former King, who was at the time her trusted father, Nasu Hattori had shown he was willing to choose kin over revenge. Sadly for him, Natisha would have none of it. Doctoring a video feed, she had shed the boy in a negative light…one that resulted with his banishment from New Vegeta and Akassa slugging him across the face.
Only after time had passed and the Princess had become a Queen, did he return to New Vegeta. Consumed by raged and fueled by the Super Saiyan power he had unlocked, the fool had thrown himself at Akassa, looking to take out his anger on the only Hattori left before him. He had lost; of course he had, but that initial fight was no test devised by the Queen, but a heated engagement that had thankfully ended in a bonding experience. Just like Toa he had not been able to go against the Queen right away. Lastly, there was Maya. A strange girl in comparison to the rest of those under the Queens service save maybe Raska, she had arrived under her own circumstances. Having traveled to the Moon on a whim, lost and looking for a home, it was not by chance that Akassa went to investigate her signature. It was by chance that a fool had very recently damaged New Vegeta's archives that Maya and her skills were immediately useful, but the Queen had been willing to risk it. Thankfully she kept her word and fixed what damage had been done, the first step along the path that had taken them to where they were now. For Zilo to assume they had all squared off against the Queen right away was quire presumptuous. As was his notion that Ki sensing need be explained to Akassa.
And not okay with hitting a woman simply because of her gender?
He had definitely spent far too long off of New Vegeta to come up with such a notion. Saiyan's were warriors, no matter the gender. For generations now woman had been in the battlefield alongside the men and in more than a few cases surpassed them. Never mind the company he now stood in, all three of them female and far above what most could dream of reaching in terms of power. He was right about one thing, he best get used to hitting a woman fast if he was going to have any ideas about training with those that stood around him.
Taking a moment to slowly shake her head, Akassa was about to respond when Maya's raised voice comes first. Glancing to the side she saw the girls aura burst to life around her, power rocking upwards as it triples compared to what it had been moments before. Never had she seen such emotion from the girl, especially not anger. Maya was almost always controlled and calm, perhaps even more than herself. A few seconds later and she was in the air, soaring towards Zilo's current position with her aura flowing around her. Apparently the sexist comment had hit more of a nerve with Maya than it had with Akassa, her obvious intent to strike at the man responsible for it.
A lover of combat and glad to see such raw emotion from her ally, the Queen had no intention of stopping it. Maya wanted to make a point, Zilo was to be tested and Akassa would learn how he fought. Her friend's sudden offensive maneuver was of average speed to the powerful warrior Queen, but for Zilo it would be harder to follow considering the power difference. Not wanting Ruculi to be caught up in the middle of this, Akassa grabs for her collar as she jumps backwards, taking the girl with her. Maya and Zilo would fight, Maya making sure of that. For now she would watch, see what both were capable of and of course, not allow serious harm to come to either one of them. If Zilo was ever going to hit a woman, now might be the time.

Zilo stood there for a moment, as the woman named Maya seemed to be angered by him stating he simply did not wish, to lay his hand upon a woman. Within a second her demeanor had changed. She wasn't the calm and quiet girl in front of him, as she began to erupt in anger. Talking about how all she had done was dismissed because he simply sought she was a woman. Slightly confused as he hadn't spoken anything about the fact that she had done a great deal compared to others. Nor did he dismiss it. She took it upon herself to speak that he had diminished all of her doing simply cause of her gender. Without being able to reply, the woman seemed to launch at him. Zilo's generally lively eyes turned that of something colder and dark. Everyone in this room seemed to be the same as the elite's outside of her little circle.
They flashed their power about, as if they had own the place, which truth be told they did. As Maya flew in after her display of powering up, the young half breed's barrier appeared around him, her first punch making an audible crunch as it landed squarely in the center of his jaw. It was a clean solid hit. Well it would of been, if he hadn't of placed a barrier around him, still it didn't stop all the damage, as he shot backwards a bit. The woman started taking off with what one could see was almost like a space pods fuel. He was slightly confused at this, though her speed was outstanding compared to what he's used to. Still soaring backwards as she came towards him, the young man threw his hands back on the ground, she was rocketing towards him. Taking a deep breath he decided to push her up with his feet. Causing her initial tackle to miss.
It seemed she wasn't done, because as soon as he finished the motion, she was already back onto him. Her blows slamming into him, making the young man back up quiet a bit. Each one making the very core of his body shake. The barrier in which he had around him, was proving to be useless at this point. Slowly, and ultimately crushing into him. Taking the time, to block as many punches as he could, his hands began to shake from the sheer pressure of each blow. Numbing them. The bones in his body began to creak and crack. He could swore they broke, but there was no audible snap yet. Besides for the first initial punch to his face. Soon though, his body was beginning to feel like a sand bag all over, he couldn't block everything.
And his barrier was nothing in compared to the strength she was instilling on him. But, as much punishment he was going through, his fist never struck out at her. Instead when she had went for another initial onslaught, the young man took a deep breathe and threw his hands out. Even If he wasn't as strong as her. He did have a skill that would give him some distance. Watching her fist come flying in, he moved his head slightly towards the right, allowing it to fly by. When he suddenly shouted. "HAAAA!" Suddenly a burst of energy came around him, tearing the ground underneath him, and a sudden wind pressure coming out from every being of his body. He had chosen it at the moment, as most of her balance would be off put, he was simply trying to catch her where she couldn't catch herself. With the full power punch it should be the perfect opportunity, then again. This opponent was much stronger.
If successful Zilo would slump backwards a bit, as his body felt as if it was breaking. His Eyes cold and indifferent to the situation. If not, he'd be staring the woman directly in the eyes as she was right on top of him. "I don't care if you're a woman or not. No one here dismissed the things you have done for the saiyans army. But throwing your power around like this, against someone weaker than you. Is just like the elites. You claim to be different, but this display proves it." He was saying as another blow caught him sending him backwards rolling a bit. As he came to a stop. He stood up looking over at the group. "For the simple fact, I care not to hit a woman, doesn't mean I dismiss your power." Reaching up he began to wipe away the blood from his mouth. His armor was definitely broken in some places since she had done an onslaught of blows on him. His voice, no longer holding the semi cheerful tone it had.
He was quiet distant now as he turned around and just began to walk away. He wanted nothing more to do with this group, not after a display like that. Regardless of what Akassa had just claimed they where. The fact they'd display their raw power against someone clearly weaker than them, even so much as one that had no chance. Proved they where indeed saiyans, he wouldn't admit he had been excited just a second ago by the fighting. But at the same time, he hadn't need to say much more. His body felt as if it was creaking with each step. Should the woman come flying at him again. He had no intention of allowing himself to be hit anymore than he had been. He would try to use whatever he had in his kit to stop that... Though he knew there wasn't much he could do about it. He would be hit for certain.

The first strike landed like a megaton blast upon the mans jaw, upon impact a rippling burst of air jutted from Maya's closed fist, the energy built up from the single blow sent shock waves slicing through the surrounding area with the ground cracking and quaking with all the pent up anger Maya had inside her like a fission generator. The towering force of her aura fueled around her body in ever increasing waves with Maya's thoughts racing about what the man had said, she had worked so hard to achieve this level of strength, to bolster the Empire, to aid in its elevation towards the Imperium as it stood today... and with a single sentence all of what she had done was negated; did others such as this man simply think less of a person for who they were? The path Maya had taken was one carved by her own hands and will power alone for she chose to be one of the females, it connected with her; all those before that showed her the slightest amount of kindness were those of a the female gender. Nasu... a man she hated from the start, he was the arrogant being which sat himself above the rest, he thought little of other that were below him, while others walked he strode around as if all thoughts were always on him. At any point she could be any person who she desired to be and she did choose, for she was who she choose to be....
Seconds before her strike landed upon Zilo, Maya saw the faint shimmer which consumed his body, a shield of sorts passed through her thoughts but the barrier proved little more than a light buffer against her raw strength even the barrier which he rose to protect his frame warped with her lone strike. Blood smeared across the field with Maya's blow splattering his life force in light puddles which mixed with the earlier mist creating a slight that glittered in the dull light of the day. Feet braced into the ground Zilo's body scuttled across the field from the force of her blow as he was quick to recover as Maya landed upon the ground with a shuddering force causing the field to crack once more leaving a sizable crater in her prone position.
Head snapping forwards Maya locked her eyes on Zilo once again to see the blood which trailed from the corners of his mouth, yet even the sting of pain upon his face wasn't enough to quell the rage which fed her strength, not even close. Bracing against the cracked flooring Maya burst forward with her jets kicking into action, every movement, every slight twitch of her body was filled with anger... not just towards this man but all the hatred which had lied dormant inside her since her birth; she had repressed it for so long for Maya knew not how to control what she felt, for she feared what might come if she had released it. For so long she had no outlet to express her distaste towards other than snide remarks or hiding herself away from the word, she had bottled it up, and what Zilo had said was simply the straw that broke the camels back. Zilo had simply said the wrong thing, to the wrong person, at the wrong time. Maya was strong, not just physically but mentally, however there was only so much anger that any one person could hold within before it would crash down upon another like a tidal wave.
Her movements were reckless, Maya knew but she couldn't control herself, her body twitched from the raw rage that controlled her body, threatening to consume the fragile psyche of the young alien; she barley took notice of Zilo positioning himself as she came upon him. Using his feet Zilo pushed against Maya as she was nearing point blank range, grunting softly she recoiled against his movements; with a firm shove Zilo managed to knock Maya back leaving twin trails of dust as she scooted across the field. While doing little to injure her Zilo had bought himself a few spare seconds but Maya was quick to recover from the weak strike, activating her jets once more Maya plunged forward, her eyes a glow with a purple shimmer.
Arriving upon Zilo Maya was fast to maneuver her strikes onto his body. Strike after strike landed on his person, each one almost seeming to snap his bones like they were nothing more than twigs from a long dead tree. Each hit from her fists caused Zilo to slide against the ground, losing ground with each hit Maya saw little in the ways of defense from him; try as he might his blocks were like flailing attempts to swat away a fly away, before long they grew slower from each impact of a successful block leaving him open for more of her blows.
Lashing out for another bash into his face Zilo took that fraction of a second to slide his head off just enough towards one side to avoid her jab as Maya's body extended over Zilo's. Taking that moment a shout filled Maya's ears as an explosive force of energy erupted against Maya, caught off balance she flew off towards one side and tumbled a few feet in the hissing winds from his attack; ground shattering under his power left a well defined crater in the wake of his strength. Hand extending out from her body Maya dug her fingers into the soil and welled shattered ground creating a drag on her skidding till she came to a sudden stop. Held in a prone position with her head low and hips held high above her body she gazed towards Zilo for a moment until she pounced out in a flash of light as she tackled him onto the ground with a heavy thud as the two of them slid across the ground till coming to a stop.
Raising a fist high above her head Maya was ready to tear into him once more but it was then that he spoke through bloodied teeth. Having her arm in mid swing it stopped just inches away from his face, Maya was unsure as to why she paused even now her arm twitched trying to make contact with his face, everything in her body beckoned her to pounce upon him till nothing moved but she kept still her eyes locked onto his. She listened to what he had to say through gritted teeth, fighting the urge to tear into him once more.
"Then why will you not fight me!"
Maya brought her hand across Zilo's face with a hardy slap, hardly something that could be considered an attack but none the less would still hurt the man.
"It shouldn't matter what who or what I am! When you are faced with another whose attempt is to kill you will you act based on their gender? No! Self preservation demands for survival, would you let your dismissal to strike a woman cease your existence?"
Maya barked as her fist came down but this time next next to his face creating a small crater beside him.
"No! You would not!"
Her eyes fluttered with purple mist as she craned her head down so that their faces were inches apart from one another.
"Your words! Your words.... they make... make me feel like nothing...."
It was in that moment that the cloud of energy which enveloped around Maya slowly began to feed back into her body, her eyes losing the shimmer they had in them.
"... the days I have lived are amazing. I saw things, did things I never thought possible. I rose through a civilization I knew nothing of, became an inspiration to some, and even made a friend.... To you... to all them watching out there, I am nothing more than a child from the days I lived. Not even a quarter of your own years... how do you think a child would react when your words sting them like venom?"
The burst of power which filled the area around Maya collapsed in upon itself flooding back into Maya body as her weight upon Zilo lessened. Sliding off to one side Maya would hang her head low followed by a loud crackle from the sky with a bolt of lighting screaming across the darkening skies above, the rain was next to follow as it fell upon them all.
"I... I apologize to you Zilo.... I am far different than all here.... I know more about this universe than I do myself. I- I lashed out; I knew not how to control what was locked away for so long and you suffered because of it. I am deeply sorry for my actions."
With that Maya would turn her head towards Zilo her face covered in fresh rains from above, her eyes filled with sorrow.

To the side Akassa stood in silence, watching the display between the two of them. Maya had never been so aggressive before, at least not in the Queen presence. Sure she had emotions, but they were almost always in check. Eyes following the action she saw how sloppy the girl was, her anger not only fueling her strength but controlling her mind. Rage was a powerful thing, yet it could destroy focus if you let it gain the best of you. Akassa herself fought with anger in order to pull out her full strength, however; she never went wild like Maya was going right now. She knew better and even when enraged her years of training were what guided her. Those on Earth had seen that in its finest form, her Legendary form allowing her to crush all that threatened her life of the life of those that she called allies.
Zilo, to his credit, managed to avoid a respectable amount of her strikes considering the difference in power. Of course he was destined to take a pummeling in the long run, yet mitigating the damage was his current goal so that he might yet stay conscious. When he ended up on the ground Akassa was ready to step forward, not planning on allowing Maya to quite literally beat him into the ground. The training grounds were exactly that, training grounds and while the girl had obviously felt insulted, she was not going to let her seriously injure him. Saiyan combat was always rough, but she didn’t want this getting out of hand. For a moment she thought his words would only fuel her anger, his strong opinions about elites had him jumping to conclusions. If he thought someone reacting to words they found hurtful was acting elite, his definition was far different than her own. Taking a beating from stronger opponents was what had gotten her so strong and she had never complained, only strove to get strong enough to beat those who dished it out to her.
Just as it seemed she was going to have to grab Maya, her fist slams into the ground instead of his head. Her aura disappearing, she seemed to reign in her anger leaving only sorrow behind. Strangely enough, as emotionally dense as Akassa was, she understood what Maya was saying. The girl had come here with no home and now stood alongside the Queen, a solid position in terms of power and companions. Above them thunder boomed as the sky opened up. Snorting some Akassa was behind Maya in an instant, hand coming to rest on the girl’s slender shoulder.
”Relax Maya, I am sure Zilo did not mean to offend you.” Personally she was unsure of his reason for the words as they held no real place when addressing a warrior Queen and her powerful ally, but she didn’t think him intentionally trying to be insulting. Eyes looking to Zilo for him to support her words, she then continues. ”And I am sure you didn’t mean to come at him so aggressively even if anger is a natural emotion. Nothing is the last word I would choose to describe you. You are my friend, ally and trusted advisor. On your feet. How about the two of you square off on even terms? That’s what we came here for initially.” Hand slipping into the left side of her jacket, she fishes out a Senzu Bean to toss towards Zilo. They were all warriors here, enough of this grumbling and complaining.

Well that was a change of events. Zilo was walking away, when suddenly the woman named Maya pounced on him again. His body already aching and sore. Another onslaught was surely something he wouldn't be able to survive. When she took the young saiyan to the ground, that's when he felt everything give away slowly. His bones that had been sore, creaked and groaned. Almost as if anyone could hear them. His armor breaking off into even small sections revealing the small black latex like material underneath. Lying there on the ground was actually welcomed at the moment. For he wasn't sure that he'd be able to walk much further at any rate. The ground was surprisingly soft for a training field. For whatever reason it was warm under his back. Though there was a purple mist surrounding his site, and a small brown haired woman sitting on top of him.
His cold eyes seemed to stare at her, as Maya looked upon him with anger. It seems she had lost herself to the lust of blood. Or for a time being, She spoke, asking a questions. No it was more like a fact coming from her. Asking why he would not fight her. It seems that his earlier statement had been heard. Through her blind rage. And then it came. It was like a flash of hot iron being pressed against his face. But it was simply the girl slapping him. Boy it had been a long time since anyone had done that. Last time he had been slapped was by his little sister. Even then it felt like he had been slapped by something that was on fire. Not quiet like this slap. His face burned for a few moments as he listened to her talk. She spoke about if he would give his life up.
A small smile came upon his face as he laid there. Taking a moment to read his own thoughts, as they had been scattered around when Maya had slapped him with what felt like using a space pod to hit someone. He wasn't sure how he wasn't unconscious, but at least it was a sign that she was slowly coming down from her blood lust. "You're right. I wouldn't let myself die. But, I wouldn't hurt them either. Some are lead by false pretensions, in which they believe you're the enemy.... Though." His words staying for a moment, he decided to turn his eyes back to the girls on top of him. "Sometimes, when you refuse to hurt someone, or strike them. You make an ally that lasts forever. I found that out on my last mission, and it allowed us to finally end it so I could come home. When I refused the orders to destroy a village, we had won the peoples hearts. Even if I was punished."
Suddenly Maya was down nearly his face, only inches apart. Hell he bet he could spit on her from this range... But for some reason, when she spoke, his mind seemed to contradict itself. The girl that was so confident a moment ago, and so strong seemed to be crumbling slowly. She stated about how his words had made her feel like nothing. Thinking back over all that has been said tonight, he wasn't sure what he had said, which would make Maya feel this way. Suddenly grimacing in pain, as the adrenaline started to fade from his body. Just the same as her aura began to disappear. Zilo looked back up at her. With a bloodied mouth, and a bit of blood that flowed from it.
He certainly didn't know he was in this much pain. As the adrenaline from earlier must of been blocking out most if not all of the signals his body was sending. Thats when he noticed the girl on top of him was still talking. Looking up at her for a moment, he cleared his thoughts from the pain to listen even for a brief second. She spoke of how she had grown up here, or talked like it. How she had done things, she could never dream of. It was touching really, kind of made Zilo feel like a Jack ass, even though his mind was telling him he hadn't done anything. When she began to speak about being a child, and how his words where like Venom to one, he shook his head slightly. She was fully grown from the looks of it, but he had to keep an open mind.
He had seen some aliens, that had looked like adults, but where only capable of baby babble, because they had been only a few months old. Suddenly the power that was pushing down upon him, and swirling around Maya disappeared. She didn't even seem to stand up as she slid off of him. Her demeanor looking sad, thats when the skies rippled in excitement. Cracking and letting out a wondrous scream. The cold rain was actually welcomed by the young saiyan. As it was washing away the pain and blood for him. Though, it was making the ground he was lying in, turn to dirt. It would take a bit to clean his hair. Thats when Maya began to apologize. About how she had allowed her own anger, to slip out, and use Zilo as an escape source, one in which she hadn't been intending to do.
Before he could say anything the Queen began to speak, as she walked over towards the two of them. Speaking on how she didn't think Zilo had meant any harm to Maya. Taking a moment to brace himself against the pain. Zilo used his arms to push himself up into a sitting position. The cracking of bones from his ribs, gave the tell tale sign, that they had been broken for good now. Looking over, he saw Maya starring directly at him. Taking a moment, and baring the pain for now, his arm extended out and gently rubbed her head like you'd do a kids. Though unsure why he had had chosen to do that, his body reacted on it's own. His mother had done the same thing, when he had been hurt, or upset. Maybe he was just thinking of when he was a child when he had done so.
His hands, where a bit rough, as he had been fighting most of his life, but her hair was certainly soft for being drenched in the rain at the moment. "Never, consider yourself to be nothing. When you do that, you lose everything you have worked for." His eyes staring into hers as he let a small smile appear on his face. Even if it was a tiny bit bloody, the rain was washing that away. "As for what you've done, they're amazing. But, don't allow it to cloud your judgement." Waiting a second he heard the queen talking again, and looking at him for a moment. Shaking his head left to right. "As far as going and saying you're a kid. I wouldn't say that. Even a quarter of our age, doesn't mean someone can't be an adult. By all rights, an adult is something we've made up with age. But in reality... It's a mentality that defines your age."
Taking a deep breathe, he chest rattled with pain as he took a moment to steel himself. "As far knowing yourself. We'll never understand ourselves, like what i'm doing right now. The only thing about you, that you should know. Is you're Maya, the queens friend. And protector of new vegeta. One the kids will surely look up to for you being able to stand by a powerful queen." Pushing himself to stand, it was obvious his ribs where broken as he managed to stand up right. "As for anger, it's natural. Bottling it up so long can cause a bad reaction. My advice, talk to someone when you're angry. Confront what has made you upset. That way, it doesn't just bottle up. Try to fix it at the start, as for unleashing it on me. It's better this way than, so you didn't kill someone." Suddenly a small green bean like thing landed in his hands. Looking at it closely, he wasn't sure what to do with this when he turned back to the queen. A questioning look on his face.
Not knowing what it was, he dropped it down towards Maya before he walked a few feet away. His feet spreading slightly, as he dropped down slightly. His arms up beside him like a boxers. He had seen his mothers articles about mixed martial arts, and had watched the fights everyday, training himself to be able to fight like that. It was style mostly dependent on throws, and counters. One in which was designed to tire the opponent out before yourself. He didn't say anything but stand there looking at the two in front of him. The queen wanted a fair fight, so he might as well indulge right?

Rage funneled about Maya in a cataclysm as she listened to Zilo speak in response to what she had said not seconds before, his words making little sense to the normally logical based thoughts of Maya.
"That makes no sense! Had another made attempts on his life when he held no defense then that would be throwing his life away! Defending himself had done no good against me and I meant to kill-"
Maya's thoughts paused as she looked into Zilo's battered and bloodily face, her own two hands had inflicted in bruises and cuts that lined his now lumpy, misshapen face. Eyes dilating and then enlarging her mind had stopped with the realization she had aimed to kill him.
"Had.... Had I really?"
She had been angered, more so than any time in her life that she could remember from all those that irritated her, pushed at her restrains as if hoping to see her explode with rage, which had been successful from the looks of it but had she really meant to kill Zilo? Her anger spoke one thing yet her slowly stilling rage opened her mind to what lay beneath; his words had smashed against her like hammer to an anvil yet... was that really enough to kill someone over, let alone beat them senseless till they were at her beckoning.
"No...."
Her voice echoed lonely in side her body, its solemn vibration taking great leaps of its own to quell the aura of power that expelled around them.
Shame had never been something Maya had experienced before, always trying to keep a calm, level head, never before had she ever committed an act which could bring about such a feeling but now hanging over the face of Zilo it was what replaced the anger that now fled her body. It was as though a heavy weight had been lifted from her shoulders only for it to reappear in the pit of where her stomach would be if such a need for something ever existed. Joy had been felt, sadness, anger and even embarrassment but this was a first for shame... Maya came to conclude it was the worst of anything she had never felt before, as if all eyes that watched her judged her actions harshly and more so that she hung her head with the weighted of what burned her; she was weak.
From her crouching position she slid from Zilo's bruised body like a snake as she finally took first notice of the full extent of the damage she had inflicted upon the man in her maddened state. There was hardly a point of his body which wasn't darkened or coated in thin strips of blood from cuts that traced his form, what bothered Maya the most was when she glanced down at her own limbs viewing them slowly as she saw no scratches, no scraps, not even so much as a nick upon her soft skinned body; she was virtually unharmed in that skirmish of rage. Absorbing that knowledge only increased the sinking feeling in her stomach; while Maya still thought his words idiotic he had at least been true to them, never laying a single hit upon her and with every vain attempt he had done was defensive in nature to push her away, nothing more.
The skies grew dark as they wailed with their quaking battle cries with thunder crackling for all in the lands to hear, then, then came the rain. It was a light mist at first, its cool droplets falling down upon the palace and all those that stood outside of its protective ceilings and archways. Slowly Maya's long hair began wet and matted as it sank under the new found weight of the water, sliding down from its nature position it draped down before her eyes and stuck to her unusually warm skin. As the rain began to increase Maya could feel the clouds water tracing down her face, its cold nibbles washing away the blood form her shaking knuckles... of course it belong to another.
Head dropping towards the ground with down cast eyes she hadn't even so much as saw Akassa as she heard the woman in her approach till Akassa's hand found her way onto Maya's shoulder with a light grasp. Maya made no attempts to even elevate her gaze towards the woman who she looked up to thinking that Akassa would only speak scorn towards the little alien; she held a great respect towards Akassa and didn't know what she would do to hear the woman berating Maya for her actions.
Akassa directed focus towards Zilo to speak but Maya thought he would be long gone by now having his fill of disgust towards Maya and her heinous actions. A firm, tough hand found its way onto Maya head which caused her to flinch slightly with the suddenness of it, for she knew Akassa's touch but not the one which rested upon her head now. Head slow to lift with strands of moist black hair shielding her face her eyes raised to look into those of Zilo's, his thick hand resting upon her soaked matted hair. Maya wasn't one for much physical contact, often keeping herself at least ten paces away from most, and on few rare occasions having to touch another but she didn't shy away from his hand. There was a difference between the way in which another touched someone. Raska often playfully touched Maya, poking her nose or forcing her into a dance, those Maya found unsettling while other touches were sincere, warm, inviting with care behind them... Zilo's was the latter.
His words were warm, as warm as the smile which sprouted across his lips as she spoke to her softly, his words filling her ears as their eyes locked with one another; Maya didn't think she could break contact even if she wanted to. Pausing in his words Akassa chimed in as well, where once Maya had thought scorn would only be there was hope that lifted her woes yet did not completely diminish the shame which still clung to her chest... it helped though. It meant the world that Akassa still held Maya in good graces, even more so that she had come to Maya's side when she wished for nothing more than to curl into a small ball and fade away.
"Thank you... both."
The words came weakly from her mouth as she shook her head almost like a dull bow but it was the most she could give at the moment; she felt weakened from the whole affair. Emotional power seemed to drain at her more so that her usual means to fight, so much so that she felt wiped, even the thought of standing was as if asking her to climb a mountain leaving her there for a moment to ponder on what had been said. It was at that moment that a small greenish bean found its way onto the damp ground before her as Akassa's voice finally reached Maya's ears as for its true purpose, though why Zilo would drop it was beyond her.
"Senzu...."
Maya spoke in a rather lack luster voice, her memories flashing back to when she saved the bastard Nasu's life... it had been a double edged sword for either of the choices; save Nasu's life or watch him die but Maya had taken the higher road to spare Akassa grief over the loss of her brother.
With a shaky hand leaving from her side Maya grasped the small bean between her index finger and thumb; for such a small thing its healing abilities were uncanny. Slow to rise from the wet earth Maya came to see Zilo, his battered body moving about with swinging fists as if he was in any condition to go another round even if Maya wasn't at her peak of perfection.
"Idiot."
Maya rolled her eyes at Zilo and his attempts to continue a fight which at the moment he had no chance of even lasting half a second, yet her voice was not filled with scorn as often as it was when she called Nasu an idiot... it was almost... one of concern. While Zilo had a good heart Maya thought his head could use a tune up for the sake of his the rest of his body. Arms at her side Maya approached Zilo, unlike times before her stance held no aggression but a simple canter as she made her way to him. Coming face to Zilo Maya stopped as she reached out slowly with one hand to take Zilo's in hers, that is if he allowed; after beating him near death Maya would understand if he resisted or even plain out refused her. If Zilo did as Maya wished she would place a cupped hand over his own as she placed the Senzu bean into the palm of his hand.
"Eat it. It will mend you. I will not fight you in such a state."
Maya noted softly as she gave his hand a light squeeze before taking steps back and towards where Akassa stood.
Coming to a stop at Akassa's side Maya turned about to face Zilo once more though she leaned over towards the Queen as she whispered in her direction.
"Perhaps when we next get a recruit it would be best for you to face him."
Maya spoke with a flat voice thought it almost seemed as Maya had made an attempt at a joke at her own expense. While the experience had been trying on Maya she knew that there was something to learn from all of it, if she let it hold her in place she would never move along past his moment... but she would hold it close, remembering all that it taught her.

For once it had not been Akassa who had lost her temper. Instead, her most intelligent and collected ally had quite literally lost control of herself as a result of Zilo’s insulting words. Placing blame was pointless now, the situation having already played itself out and the quick burst of combat over. The gentle hand placed upon Maya’s shoulder had been an attempt to comfort her, the woman not exactly known for handing out hugs and kisses. Thankfully for the Queen, Zilo and Maya appeared to be connecting on their own level. Perhaps it was best she had kept her words to a minimum; let those better suited for such a thing lead the conversation.
”Of course Maya.” Where the only words the Queen would add.
When the two had finally come to terms, the injured Zilo back on his feet and ready to fight, Akassa couldn’t help, but rolls her eyes at his confusion when it came to the Senzu Bean. As a Saiyan warrior he should have known what a Senzu Bean, many were handed out to those sent on missions. The useful beans had saved many lives in the history of the Saiyan military and the Queen herself had taken more than she could count. Then again, he had been away for quite some time. Perhaps he had been away so long that the initial beans sent with them had been used so long ago he simply didn’t recall. Whatever reason he might have for not knowing what to do with a bean, Maya explained it in her normal fashion, short and to the point.
The use of the bean explained, Akassa stood to the side as Maya made her way over. Eyes shifting to the small girl, Akassa couldn’t help but smile at the whispered words.
”That might be wise. Perhaps you are spending too much time training with me Maya, we cannot have you assaulting new recruits.” Akassa was dense, but her sense of humor was not completely inaccessible. The small self inflicted jab aside, the Queen hoped that with everything now in the past, the two might spar for real. She still had no idea what Zilo was capable of and the warrior Queen wanted to see him in combat. For starters she preferred to know about those that served under her, but deep down there was more to it than that. Akassa simply loved to fight and she always found enjoyment in watching others fight. Would Zilo accept the offer to fight Maya in a more traditional match? (Sorry its crap guys, had a headache but want wanted to get a post up for yah.)

The air around Zilo was full of emotions. If it wasn't for the fact, that the queen and her advocates where here, the young man would most likely of been passed out by now... And with his current state, along with the rain and the cool air around them. It would be more likely that he could simply perish right out here. Due to there being a increased chance at a cold, and then his battered body not being able to compete against the worlds natural order. Though he was moving around, the moment he had gotten into his stance he knew that he wasn't going to last even a second should the girl come after him again. Standing there for a moment, Zilo seemed to lose track of reality, closing his eyes for just a second, honestly it felt nice to just close his eyes for the moment. A warm feeling seemed to flush over his body.
Opening his eyes slightly, he almost flew backwards, as less than what felt like a few seconds, the girl was already in front of him, speaking and calling him an idiot. No maybe he had his eyes closed for longer than a few seconds. As there was a nice distance from them. And Maya had been sitting on the ground. Though her stance held no aggression in it, when her hand suddenly came towards him. Zilo's reaction was to step in close, this was a basic movement for his style to cut off most of the enemies reach, so that they couldn't get a full powered punch in. He was aiming to slam his forehead into her own, suddenly his body stopped on it's own. His forehead barely a centimeter away from her own, the distance between the two he could swear he almost felt the heat from her own body.
No that wasn't an illusion, looking down, her hand cupped his own. Something wet and hard fell into his hand from hers, though it was covered by her hand, then a small squeeze came from the smaller woman. He wouldn't admit it, but there was a vastly different feeling between the girl. When she had been punching him, each hit had felt as if he had been slammed by a vehicle, as he has been hit by a space pod before. Though what was puzzling him, was the fist that had slammed into him earlier had been as hard as steel, and yet the small hand against his own was soft, almost like that of a dolls. And it had a warmth to it that felt kind of nice against his own. That's when he finally registered Maya was speaking to him.
Maya spoke to him, about how he should eat what she placed in his hand, as it would mend him. Her explanation was simple and to the point. No unnecessary energy was placed into her speech. Looking up at her as she walked back towards the queen, talking about how she wouldn't fight him in his current condition. It almost brought a since of deja vu to the field, as just a minute ago he was speaking about he wouldn't fight a woman. Yet here he was taking a stance against one. Standing up straight, his body now creaking to everyone's ears. As they could hear the bones shifting within the young man, as he brought his hand up to his mouth. Placing a cupped hand to his mouth he tossed the bean into his mouth. Biting into it for a moment, as he was chewing it, there was a bland taste to the small thing.
It was nearly like eating something that was like a candy that had gotten wet, as it was slimy, and when you bit into it, had a dry inner, that made you thirst for water. It had a strong bitterness as it finally made him swallow it just to get rid of the awful taste in his mouth. Suddenly it was felt all over his body. He could feel his entire being began to grow warm. As if someone had started a fire with his body. His muscles began to loosen all over, as they released their contorting figures over the broken bones. You could feel each muscle tightening in the right order, to place bones back in place, then as if he was itching on the inside of a wound healing itself, the bones began to mend at a frightening pace. It was almost worse than being place in a cast.
When that had ended, he could feel his muscles on the inside began to reconnect to one another. It was a strange sensation, but at least it was better than the pain he was feeling just a moment ago. Opening his eyes, he could see better at the moment, meaning that the swelling in his face was also gone. Placing a hand on top of his head as he faced the girls in front of him. His expression wasn't one most would be expecting. Even though he had a stare that showed no attention most of the time... This was different. His normally hard eyes where soft as he stared at the two girls. Now they could see the silver like irises he had if they hadn't been able to see them clearly before, which wouldn't be to hard to understand due to the fighting that had just taken place.
Suddenly he let a silly looking grin take place on his face, as his eyes closed. It was almost as if he was peaceful. It wasn't a smile that you'd see every day, as if someone was laughing. It was as if all the hard feelings, and the uneasy atmosphere had slowly deteriorated with this smile. As his eyes opened, it seemed that the smile on his face hadn't faded away. "I think I was wrong my queen. Even if she has lost her anger over something I said like an Elite. You guys are different from them in a certain way. You treat each other like family. That's easily seen." His voice wasn't heavy or insulting as it had normal been. It was as if he was alleviating every harsh emotion that had been created during this confrontation, even the weather seemed to since the change in the atmosphere as the rain suddenly began to soften among the group.
His long dark hair finally tamed straight for the time being, shined against his nearly destroyed armor, though it still stood out against whatever trace of shiny green metal remained.
