The combination worked out perfectly, each part of it landing with the precision as Akassa used her superior speed and excessive experience to overwhelm the other female. So many times in the past she had expertly strung her offensive maneuvers perfectly, the flow making them even more effective as a whole. Executing complex strategies in combat was something learned over time, not anything that could be forced into you. Each fighter fought differently, sticking to the tactics and techniques that suited their strategy best so you couldn’t exactly teach another how to string their attacks together. Akassa knew this, but she hoped Maya was learning to reach for the same. Such combinations were made up on the fly, but understanding the necessity and advantage of these things were what Akassa could offer. Unfortunately for her companion, the Queen chose to teach through example.
Of course, instinct combined with natural talent could be just as useful in combat. Having felt the girls weight fully on her extended arm, her previous strikes having left Maya stunned, Akassa had every reason to believe that her final movement was to go unhindered. Partially, she was correct for Maya made no move to stop the pull as she was dragged over the half-saiyan’s shoulder. She did however, not plan on being spikes into the ground like Raska had before. While the Lystan was fine with taking hits, much like Akassa, Maya preferred to avoid them. Subconsciously she was more advanced than she knew, the sudden technique that evolved to handle current circumstances not the smallest of feats.
What crashed into the ground was not the slender alien girl, but the leather jacket that had been given to her. In all honesty the weighted coat might have weighed more than the slender alien, but even if it did Akassa did not miss the sudden shift in the amount of weight in her grasp. At the same time she had no idea where Maya had gone nor could she see her, the dust from the cracking floor tiles obscuring her vision for but a second. That was all the time Maya needed to launcher her counter attack.
Hearing the name of the attack, she knew exactly what was coming although she had no way to react to it besides grunt. Blast slamming right into the back of her head, one of the few parts of her lean form not covered by armor, the force of the resulting explosion sent her tumbling forward. Colliding with the floor the Queen’s body proceeds to bounce across the chamber, Akassa dizzy for a moment after the blow to the back of the head. Well known for her durability though, she did not make contact with the far wall like when Raska had kicked her. Regaining her senses before that, a clawed hand slams into the floor, talons digging in deep to cancel out her momentum. The four lines carved into the tile were evidence of the amount of force she had needed to exert to stop herself, the woman ending in an awkward crouch.
Panting some, for that had most definitely hurt; the pain could not wipe away the grin that again dominated her features. Looking in the direction of Maya, Akassa was obviously breathing heavy, but seemed undaunted. Prepared to re-engage, the Queen had yet to notice Raska charging to the side or at the very least that was how she wanted it to look. Any such though would soon be made clear as she launches herself into the air from her crouched position. Powerful legs kicking off the ground she flips once, almost casually throwing a Ki blast in Raska’s direction as she does. Her attention never left Maya though, bukujutsu aiding her jump as she pulls back her right arm hand open wide to attempt a brutal slash with her talons when she was to come crashing down on her foe.(Like in the video for Akassa's voice!)
Through this all Raska had been gathering more energy, humming to herself as the dark sphere of energy above her head continues to expand. Used to being on the front lines she had to admit this was quite different to be the one supporting another. She had no reason why Maya, the weaker of them wanted to engage the Queen in such a way when Raska herself would be better suited, but it was all good. To the girls credit she had been doing quite well thus far even if taking a few rough hits herself. Watching their movements as she had never really seen them fighting to such an extent before, she made sure to remember it all. A simple girl on many accounts, there were a few areas in which Raska excelled. Fighting and the knowledge that surrounded it was one of them.

The crackling of lighting in the air came from the flashing green orb which Maya held in her palm, as if magnetized the ball of energy floated against the pull of gravity mere inches away from Akassa's head who up to this point hadn't taken notice of Maya's sudden reappearance, which all played better towards Maya's plans. So far the fight had been pushing back and forth with each side having difficultly taking ground from the other, when one pushed and gained footing the other would come back stronger than before and claim what was lost. Maya had taken quite the pounding from Akassa a few seconds prior, and had it not been for her body activating an ability she knew nothing of such a placement of surprise would have never been possible against Akassa, though now that the cat was out of the bag trying the same attempt as she had done before would prove all the more difficult. It didn't matter now though, Maya had the upper hand and she was going to use it to its fullest extent.
A burst of light expelled from Maya's hand the ball of energy slammed into the back of Akassa's head with an explosive force behind it, having been at point blank range Maya could feel the effects of her own energy as it buffered her body with gales of winds as her hair wildly flipping about her face as if she was caught in a hurricane. Eyes wincing against the bright light it took a few seconds for the area to clear of smoke and her vision rid itself of bright splotches as Maya witnessed the flailing form of Akassa as she was sent crashing across the length of the room with twin tails of smoke following in her wake. There had been hopes that the brunt of the attack would send Akassa sailing off to the far wall as before yet like many times before Maya was lead to disappointment with Akassa's armored talons slamming into the floor of the room to slow her acceleration and gain control of her movements once more. Sparks rained from the path that Akassa craved in the ground till she came to screeching stop in a strange crouching stance her hips arched high above the rest of her body.
Deep pants of breath came from Akassa with the quick rising and falling of her chest, clearly the attack from Maya had taken much of out Akassa and without having any shielding of sorts around her head Maya could very well understand that; perhaps it would have been in Akassa's best interest to find an helmet along with the rest of her get up. Aside from steam that bellowed from Akassa's head or the grin she held across her face Maya knew that beneath it all that she was in pain from what Maya had done, a small part of Maya felt bad that she had hurt Akassa, the woman who her only aim was to ever help but at the same time this was a spar for a reason, they weren't going to attack each other with pillows.
With a burst of acceleration from her powerful legs Akassa took to the skies leaving her crouching position behind her, dust being kicked up from the shear speed of her movement. It was amazing to see just how quickly Akassa could recover from such a shot at point blank ranges, amazing and highly terrifying to those which she truly meant to inflict pain on. It was then that Akassa turned her attention ever so slightly towards Raska, who up to this point had been hiding off on the side lines while energy pooled from around her body to release a truly devastating force. During their whole back and forth Maya had hoped that Akassa had merely forgot about the blue alien who stood off to the sides but with a flick of her wrist Akassa fired off a single bolt of energy from her hand towards Raska; while in the position to charge her powers Raska was vulnerable to all threats that came her direction and while she could simply move out of the way the loss of energy would greatly hurt their chances.
Firing off the blast of energy Akassa quickly turned her attention towards Maya with her razor like claws ready to rend her to pieces but Maya thoughts were not of herself at the moment but of Raska, while she felt awkward in the presence of Raska with her touchy hands and what not she wasn't capable of defending herself without sacrifice to their side. With Akassa coming down upon her Maya weighed the choices until her body shifted into a silver like liquid, in this form her mobility was maximum and she would need every bit of it to avoid Akassa and reach Raska in time. Pooling towards the ground Maya raced forward as her liquid body enveloped the weighted jacket which had been sent crashing into the floor from before, sweeping them up in her movement Maya could feel their weight slowing her down but this was training after all, things were supposed to be trying if not down right challenging.
Having scooped up the jacket Maya trudged forward as her liquid form rose into the air to meet the coming Akassa head on, trying to avoid the Queen by dodging to either side would have been easy enough for Akassa to counter, but if Maya went with a head on attack it would be easy to slip through her attacks than to evade her completely. Moving her liquid form around Akassa in a spiral formation Maya attempts to evade whatever Akassa throws her way, with her body able to move in whatever way it pleased at the moment it gave her the upper hand but Akassa was much quicker than Maya was at the moment with the weights she held in her body.
Spiraling away from Akassa Maya would leap forward just seconds before the bolt of energy was about to rain down upon Raska, with little time to spare Maya jutted out in front of Raska as she used her body to shield the blue woman from the imposing threat. A small explosion formed upon impact as Maya went soaring off one side of the room, smacking against a something solid she grunted from the air being knocked from her body.
"Keep charging Raska...."
Maya spoke unphased by the bolt of energy that had just struck her, the attack hadn't been the strongest but more than enough to knock Maya about some.
Simulator acti- activ-v-v-vated.
The words came from behind Maya as she turned around to see what she had crashed into, which turned out to be the housing unit for the controls of the simulation. While these things were meant to take a hit Maya's rapid acceleration mixed with the extra burst of speed from Akassa's own energy had been enough to set the machine off and from the sounds of it something inside had been shaken up. Suddenly the room began to change in a shimmering of light but unlike times before the images that appeared where choppy at first almost low resolution, taking a few seconds the images which displayed became clear as they soon found themselves floating above a large river that cut between two pieces of land where stone buildings stood on either side. The buildings looked rather old, at least to say the largest of them did, all where composed of stone and wood like something out of a documentary film; off towards one bank of the river a towering building of stone slowly bellowed out with a deep gong as a massive bell rang out across for all to hear. Eyes wandering the edges of the river Maya could make out people as they walked about on their daily business, having not seemed to notice the three new beings that floated above their city.
"This is new."
Maya noted as she wiped dirt from her cheek with the back of her hand.
Regardless of why the simulation had done this the fight was hardly over, Raska still needed defense and Akassa would be soon upon them once she adjusted to the new world around them, if she did at all; knowing Akassa she would simply ignore the fact that the simulation had activated and continue with trashing the hell out of Maya.

Forward Akassa went, focused once more on the slender girl before her. Having thrown a blast Raska's way she no longer felt the need to watch the girl. Occupied with charging the growing sphere she held over her head, the Lystan would either have to try and weather the hit or abandon her attempt, the former most likely enough to disrupt her stance anyway. That allowed for the Queen to give Maya her full attention and with that the full power of her base form. The claws that came down towards the girl as Akassa descended were meant to cut and rend, capable of cutting through almost any material. For most the best chance at avoiding serious damage was to avoid them, create distance between the warrioress that was wielding them and try to draw the Queen into a range exchange.
Maya chose to come at the woman head on, Akassa respected that.
For a moment she thought Maya looked to test her strength in another bout of close combat, but it soon became clear that the girl was far too smart for that. With the weighted jacket weakening her form the girl was sorely outmatched. On top of that her opponent was the Queen of the Imperial Saiyan Legion, a woman who specialized in close combat and had done so for the better part of two decades. Even with less experience though, Maya knew what was most important at the moment and it wasn't engaging Akassa. The gathering energy that hung over Raska's head was their best chance at taking their opponent down and the blast thrown that was threatened the alien's chances of maintaining the charge. Managing to pick up her discarded jacket on the way, Maya is able to twist and turn around the striking Queen with but a few glancing swipes of her gauntleted hands.
The fact she had been dropping from the air had also aided in her maneuver, Akassa slamming to the floor with ground splitting force as her liquid turned opponent swirled past her, a clever girl no doubt. Whirling around Akassa was able to see Maya reform a moment before the Ki blast hit her. Having put enough into the attack to off balance Raska, the attack was more than enough to send the slightly weaker girl flying. Like when she had been hit before, Maya was sent spiraling through the air only to stop when the chamber came to an end. However, unlike Akassa's own aerial trip she didn't hit the wall of the chamber, but the main terminal that lined it.
A few seconds later, Resolute's hiccupping voice filling the room, the trio found themselves in a whole new world. Down below a river carved its way through the Earth, the small town that had grown around it using the waterway to fuel its growth. Snorting once as her eyes scan the area, tiny power signatures dotting the cluster of buildings, the Queen found little reason to let it distract her further.
"Hopefully this is nothing permanent…then again, I am sure you can repair whatever it is you might have done. That can be addressed later though. Continue!" The quick shout followed immediately by another charge from the Queen. Now in the air, her bukujutsu propels her forward, head leading the way as if she was going to tackle her from the sky. Rocketing towards the girl, she again let Raska be, wanting to see how far she might push Maya instead.
Coming in strong she leads with her shoulder, aimed low in an attempt to drive it into the other girls stomach. As obvious as that tactic might have seemed, there was a little more to the technique that would hopefully catch the alien off guard. As Akassa drew within range, the gap closing between them, a Ki blade bursts forth from one of the shoulder rings of her armor. Utilizing the second part of the Blade Armor technique, an energy blade stabs forward for Maya's stomach. Either Akassa was holding back less and less or she had confidence in her ally to avoid such a potentially deadly strike.
To the side Raska continued to watch the exchange, having been a little shocked to see her partner so willingly take the blast that had been directed her way. Maya seemed…antisocial at times or at least not a fan of many, but it was clear she was not completely for herself when something was on the line. That trait only made her all the more appealing. As for Akassa, she was as ferocious as ever, rushing head on yet again as she allowed Raska to continue charging. Deep down the Lystan had to assume it was confidence, for in the long run their Queen was in no real danger of injury against their current forms she was just far too strong. At that thought a mischievous grin begins to form as well as a plan…perhaps the two of them could win this little engagement, if Raska was devious enough. Raska was good at devious.
