Arms crossed and eyes focused on the door, Akassa stood at the ready in her gravity chamber. Often she had stood here waiting for a simulation to begin so that could grow stronger. Many times she was by herself, training her hardest to become even more powerful than she already was. Such hard work and determination had allowed her to become a Super Saiyan, to rule over New Vegeta and gain control of Earth. Always focused on the goal set before her, Akassa’s was relentless in her quest for power. Determined and strong will, there was nothing that could distract her from what she wanted.
The woman that stood next to her was the exact opposite. Stood was also a bit of a misstatement, more like wandered and skipped around. Raska, the second alien girl she had taken under her wing, was far different than the logical Maya. The Lystan was erratic at best, her mind seeming to struggle to focus on any one thing for too long. Surprisingly though, she could follow orders…or perhaps it was just she chose too. Eyeing the girl as she circled her, looking around the chamber, the Queen wondered if this was at least in part, an act. Ultimately, she did not care as long as Raska continued to prove herself capable of getting tasks done and remained loyal. For Akassa, loyalty was most important.
”I don’t think she is coming my Queen. Probably fiddling with one of her terminals and lost track of time. Yup, yup.” The Lystan’s cheerful voice ringing out across the empty chamber. Always happy and always smiling was the alien girl, a stark contrast to the often stern expression that her Queen wore. The statement had Akassa turning her head to regard the girl, Raska just smiling at her, hands tucked behind the small of her back.
”I am sure she will be here shortly. Maya knows I do not summon her for trivial things. When she arrives we shall began…all three of us.” Eyeing the girl a moment longer, Akassa actually couldn’t help the small smile she sent the Lystan’s way. The endless charisma of Raska was infectious, even to the Queen. Besides, the three of them were about to begin one of their many coming sessions of training. Maya and Raska needed to grow stronger just as much as Akassa needed to, the Saiyan Legion looking to increase its power and stretch its influence farther. Before long they would move again, taking the next step of the grand vision that Akassa in had in mind.

Settling back into the warming embrace of the Imperial Palace had been a treat after having been away for a few days times, though it felt much more like a life time looking back at it; the trip itself had been... informal less enjoying than one would have thought traveling the stars and seeing sights only few could dream of. The hollowed out, shielded cities that composed the Omega system and their coupled city states, the whole area was a meshed of smaller systems combined under one ruler ship which defend its smaller subsidiaries, at least in the since that the whole place felt like corporation after corporation growing out of the other like a metallic hive cluster. Truly the system was a symbol of the modern era which they found themselves in even if it wasn't the shinning example of a future which many dreamed of, much of it was wrong, in the idea that much work was unfinished through out its creation up till the systems present but no rush was needed to form itself; culture, technology, its people were always changing, no city, no planet would ever fully be in unison with itself, to much size and not enough speed to make up for advancement of life itself. All in all the trip had given much need info on the Omega system, how such information would be put to use who could say at the moment, hardly any of it could be used for military uses, if any at all in the end of it all such uses of the facts would boil down to Akassa's whim, upon which Maya would follow as she had always done in the past, as it had always reigned true in her mind.
Head resting against the plushy pillow that resided upon her bed Maya glanced up towards the ceiling of the cozy room, its only light source coming from her purple eyes as they burned through the darkness which consumed the room. It was nice; no distractions, no voice to drill away at her thoughts, just her alone for some time. Days before it had been just Maya and Raska... the thought of the woman's face left a chill running down her backside, something which even to this point hadn't faded through out the waking hours that burned at the midnight oils. At some point Maya had imagined, or at least hoped the images would have kept their distance, to cease their constant bombardment of her mind yet the images kept dancing through her thoughts as if they were a field of flowers that people so often trailed through with joy.
It flashed back, Raska... her face inches away from her own... and then... it felt like a jerk... not from within her head... but her chest; it still baffled Maya as she tossed over upon the sheets only adding more ruffles and knots in the covers in her movement.
"Go away...." She grunted through gritted teeth, her face dug deep into the pillows fabric.
It was the oddest thing she had come across before, so often she could twist her thoughts, throw them away like soldiers fleeing from a bombarding fortress yet no matter what she did the image kept appearing over and over, each time seeming more real than the last. The assault came and went like the tides of a mighty ocean, washing over her body with each pass; it was not painful but those that wished to keep dry kept distance from the waters, something which seemed impossible at the moment. Fighting was endless yet needless, for no matter what tricks she played, what clever tactics she pushed the moment would appear all the strong, as if taking strength from her attempts, an never tiring foe.
Time was up for that though with the small pings that flooded her thoughts. Today was time to resume work, to get back upon the wagon and train; something at first Maya had taken as a barbaric act yet she had begun to take some favor when she got down in the grit and sweat of it all... the only issue was that Raska was going to be there. ----
Hovering out side the doors to the gravity chamber Maya paused, as if biding time would magically make the situation which she found herself in vanish from the surface of the universe; till this point she had taken great lengths to avoid Raska for obvious reasons but it appeared now one could only run for so long before paths would cross and its not as though Maya could refuse an summoning from Akassa. Shallow heavily the doors spread apart and into the wall as Maya stepped into the bright room of the gravity chamber, adjusting quickly her eyes fell upon the Queen of the Saiyan; Akassa... and standing next to her was Raska. Eyes tracing over Raska for a moment they dropped to the floor as Maya gathered herself, breathing slowly her composer gathered as her attention focused on Akassa.
"Hello, Akassa."
Maya leaned forward with a quick bow before she resumed her normal stance, ready on a moments notice.

"Welcome Maya...there is no reason to bow with such a limited and trusted audience." In a surprisingly good mood mostly thanks to the pending combat, Akassa spoke truthfully. Under normal circumstances, before the eyes of others, the Queen expected the respectful gesture for the image it presented. To all those that saw her powerful allies bowing in recognition of her authority, the image only reinstated that she was indisputably in charge. If ones as strong as Maya and the others were so respectful, how could the weaklings far below them not show the same? Raska and Maya were part of a select group, allies of the Queen and also friends, regardless of how well the woman was able to show it. Friendship had never been her strong point.
Pausing for a moment, Akassa looks Maya over. Reading her signature the Queen slowly starts to smile. The alien had done well in her service to the crown over the past months, yet she had spent so much time working on assigned tasks that she had little time to grow stronger. That is what today was for, a session for all of them to test each other and expand their skill sets to better protect the growing Imperium. ”Maya come here.” Akassa motioning for the girl to come closer and stand before her. When she did the Queen’s hands would grab her slender shoulders and turn her about, now facing away from her.
With a shrug Akassa’s weighted jacket slips off her back. Catching it with one hand she lifts the coat before her, opening it and draping it over the alien’s shoulders.”This is a gift for all you have done for me in recent months Maya. It may not be much, but this jacket is more than just leather as I am sure you can tell. Moving and fighting with such weight pressing down will help you grow stronger more quickly. I value your brain, but want to make sure you have the brawn to support it when necessary. Take a moment to get used to its weight, we will test how you move with it soon enough.” A pat on the back signifies that the Queen was done talking. For a moment she had almost continued to explain how long she had worn the jacket and how much it meant to her, signifying her own strength and the trials she had been through. Almost. Akassa was not much for heartfelt words. If Maya had been paying attention or watched enough footage of the Queen she might have realized how often the jacket was with the woman or she might have no idea of how much it meant to her. Either way, Akassa wanted her to have it.

"For you, there is always a reason to bow."
Maya noted softy as her eyes rose to peer into that of Akassa's, her words echoing in the chamber leaving behind a faint imprint of what had been said within its confines. Friendship had developed between the two of them over the time they had spent in the company of each other till this point; Maya did consider it an honor, to be in Akassa's good graces but even more so that the woman did consider Maya one of her closest; if not only, friend. Up on the top, above the rest, friendship was hard to come by, those that groveled at ones feet only wished for something to heighten themselves, seeking only for themselves and not those they clung to like a leech. There was comfort to be found with Akassa as someone who was close to her, she was sure such that such sentiments were shared by Akassa as well. Being above the rest; the peons in the streets, finding another which shared such a position was a calming change of pace when one could find another of similar virtue to speak to; to have actual conversation without hoping for something to gain. Maya would never forget what it was that Akassa gave to her even if their level of acquaintance ship had elevated, all which she had given her, and for that was the reason Maya bowed towards Akassa, and why she always would. They might be friends but Maya would never forget the kind acts she bestowed upon her, at a time she had been a nobody, no home, no memories of what she was or were she hailed from, even though she had to take a great leap to arrive at Akassa's side the woman gave her more than anyone else ever had.
"I shall always bow to you Akassa."
Maya spoke with the fainest glimmer of a smile in her glowing eyes, lasting for a brief moment the shimmer would fade leaving only her blank stare facing towards Akassa.
With a pause growing between the lot Maya glanced into the face of Akassa with a questionable look; Akassa wasn't one for such long gaps between pleasantries, more so she spoke what she thought at the time, always seeming to know exactly what she was going to say and how she was to say it... for such a look of thought upon her face whatever she contemplated must have held great importance.
Calling out for Maya to approached Akassa, Maya jerked back slowly at the Queen's request, so few times had Maya ever been called directly to Akassa's side and at such times it was just the two of them. Eyeing the room as if others were going to jump out to surprise her Maya straightened her posture as she crossed the room towards Akassa. The short distance from one side of the room to the throne seemed as to grow with every steep she took, but it was only her perspective that made it so. Arrving before Akassa with a unsettling feeling rising within Maya stood before Akassa as she looked upon her face with confusion at what was to come; no harm would come her way, not from Akassa, Maya knew that... but what was it she had planned? Maya hated surprises to be honest, predictable things made existence all the easier if she knew what was to come then she could prepare for it, but this... it was off putting, nothing in her mind could pin point what it was that Akassa was going to do.
"Wha-?"
Maya squeaked softly at Akassa quick touch upon her shoulders making her shudder slightly from her hands alone. Eyes growing wider as they peered into the Queen's, Maya could feel her breath steepen as she looked upon Akassa, her thoughts flashing back to Omega at the wedding hall. Forcing Maya to turn about a small sigh of relief came from the alien as she shook her head from one side to the other trying to shake the ill thoughts from her mind.
It was the pressure of the weighted jacket upon her shoulders that snapped Maya from her small inner world. Looking over her shoulders at the garment which Akassa seemed to wear through every training, every fight, every day... she rarely took it off left alone drape it across the shoulders of another.
"I don't understand... why...."
Maya questioned, her voice growing soft with waning volume.
Giving an explanation Maya hung her head lowly as she listened to Akassa, her words resonating within Maya as Akassa spoke. Maya had never done any of those things to receive a payment; at first it had be nothing but to repair a debt and some where in the middle things had become muddied till it was no longer a debt which held her here like a shackle but simply helping a friend.
Maya opened her mouth to protest something which she didn't think she deserved but quickly she clamped it closed, she knew Akassa wouldn't accept no to such a gift as this. Eyes shut Maya nodded her head gently, reaching up towards the collar of the jacket slowly ran her fingers through its fabric even after all it had been through it still kept firm yet soft to the touch. Straining for a moment Maya pushed her arms through the shelves as its full weight rested upon her body; it was a tad bit unconformable but that didn't take away her joy from having received something that meant much to Akassa.
Turning around to meet Akassa head on a small smile would spread across Maya face, reaching out and around Akassa with her arms Maya pulled herself in close to the woman with a gentle embrace. Head resting against Akassa shoulder she held her there for a moment letting the silence fill the air around them.
"Thank... thank you Akassa... I have never received a gift before... it means more to me than you know."
Maya spoke with a quivering voice.
Holding Akassa there for a few seconds longer Maya eventually broke away from the Queen as she turned about and towards the far wall feeling a strange sense of over whelming senses filling her up. String about within Maya focused on what was to come next; the woman who she had just thanked was about to come fully charging at her with attempts to inflict much pain.

The hug caught Akassa as off guard as Maya was when the jacket was set over her shoulders. Blinking once she slowly wraps her arms around the girl, returning the surprise hug. Through her life the Queen had rarely been embraced by anyone. Saiyans in general rarely showed love for one another, beyond a solid punch to the jaw. Her father had been no different, only going as far as to nod in her direction when he approved. For that reason this was just awkward to the Queen, yet she understood the principle of such a thing. Swallowing once she was unsure how to carry forward, but if Raska was good for anything it was injecting herself into a moment. At least this time it would help them all to move forward.
"The jacket fits well Maya!” The Lystan giggling as her eyes dart between the two females.. One might wonder if Raska was exactly a good judge of fashion, her flowing cloak somewhat clashing with her leather outfit and metal pauldrons. Her attire was as odd as her natural appearance, red eyes standing out in stark contrast against her blueish skin and dark blue hair. Most that met the girl had no idea what she was, hell even Akassa wasn't fully sure.
With a small rolls of her eyes, Akassa was quick to put the conversation on track.
"Fashion aside, we have much to do. I assume the pair of you know what purpose we have gathered for today. With Nasu away and General Toa tending to the construction on Earth, the three of us are to focus on the next steps of the Imperium's expansion. However, before we can truly move forward we need to improve, you two must grow stronger." As she spoke the Queen began to remove her own jacket, tossing the leather coat far to the side. Dressed in her usually tank top underneath, Akassa looked as fit as ever, small still, but tone.
"Let us test how well you two work together in combat. When you are ready, come at me as a team." Turning from them Akassa begins to walk away, planning on putting a fair distance between them. They would be free to discuss and develop a plan before attacking, but they would be foolish to expect to catch their Queen off guard even with her back turned.
Raska took the cue for what it was, nodding silently to the idea before heading towards Maya. Having no qualms or problem with anything that had taken place between them thus far, Raska was her normal self. Closing in on her fellow alien, her lips were curled into that ever present smile. "Partners again. A common occurrence Raska notices. Do you wish to discuss or shall we do as we please? Raska will admit she has not fought much in tandem and is a little fuzzy on how to best proceed. Maya reads and observes often does she not? What is our plan?" During their trip to the Collective, Raska had let Maya take charge without any resistance and it appeared she was doing so again. Many might think such a free spirited girl would not so smoothly fall under the command of another, but her free spirit was exactly what allowed her to be so easy going about it. Taking orders or following another's plan was as much a choice as anything and she was just fine with it. Of course if Maya wanted them to fight on the fly...Raska would be just fine with that as well.

Maya had expect for Akassa to react the way she did, it didn't damper her spirits at the moment; over the time they had spent with one another Maya had come to learn much of the Saiyan Queen, emotions just weren't her strong suit. For one reason or another such things as care were only faint shimmers in their society, perhaps they thought it a sign of weakness to display to another let alone before other; it didn't matter, not to Maya with her arms firmly locked around Akassa. The small gift meant much to the strange alien, aside for all she did for the Imperium, it was the greatest gift she could have received... the icing of the cake came from the hug however. Maya's thoughts flashed back to a similar moment where the two of them found themselves in the exact act, regardless if Maya had assumed the form of Akassa's mother to do so or not... it was pleasant. Akassa was the only person that Maya found herself close enough to express such... expressions of... caring, yes that was that word. All things came to and end eventually though and sure enough it was Raska who found the means to do so.
Breaking away from the embrace Maya turned on heel and readied her mind for what was to come in a short while, the weights would be one thing to become familiarized with let alone the slight awkwardness in the air which lingered about. It had been proving difficult enough for Maya to keep her thoughts from hovering away from Akassa before she had given Maya the gift but becoming all the more so with Raska being so near by; one part of her mind kept her thoughts straight but the images kept flashing back to the wedding... those few seconds played to many times over in her mind on a constant loop, it may have happened days ago but Maya felt as though it happened just that day, if not hours ago leaving her mind in a somewhat uneasy state; it appeared that no one had noticed yet or if they did they kept such things to themselves saving Maya any unneeded attention something which she greatly appreciated.
Switching the conversation back to its original path Akassa made question of why they had been summoned hear, and of course Maya knew all to well of what went on with in the walls of this machine, the only thing that ever happened here; combat. A small nod of her head was all the response that Maya gave as she began to pace a few steps backwards to gain small distance between the two of them; at this point Maya began to wonder why it was that Raska was even here at all, was her means here all for observation? As the question rang through her mind it was quickly answered by Akassa as she paired the two of them to be pitted against Akassa leaving Maya mildly stunned for a moment... she should have guessed such would be the case as the universe always seemed to fight against her trails.
Maya half expected Raska to take the lead and bury the hatchet about what happened on Omega but as if the whole thing had merely passed right over her head she approached Maya as if nothing had happened between the two of them, just her usual joyful self leaving Maya a tad bit confused but never the less she didn't push the matter any; if she had nothing to say of it then neither did Maya.
"It seems so...."
Maya muttered through partly gritted teeth while her eyes focused on Akassa on the opposite of the room.
"I've seen Akassa fight before. I am aware of her tactics, most of which are deadly, if not all. She is quick and is quick to anger when the right cords are hit, which makes her all the stronger. There is much I have seen of her in combat but not all of which she can do; there are unknowns. As it is I am hardly one of which to strike down Akassa, probably the furthest in strength to even do so. Attacking from two fronts would surly give the advantage though no victory will be found for us here today."
Maya shrugged her shoulders with the last remark, while hurtful to morale she knew it to be true after seeing what Akassa could do back on Earth, no one on this world, in the solar system and perhaps even in the universe could match Akassa's pure power head on.
"A joint attack would be best suited in this case, however if you wish to lead the charge I can stay back and do my own... charge of sorts."
Maya noted with her power level rising to her highest point with an aura bursting around her small form.

Across from them Akassa stood at the ready. Remaining in her base form, a level she knew was still a challenge for the two of them, yet she couldn't completely ignore the urge to pull on the power churning within her. Her Legendary form, even if she was unaware of its true nature, was always begging to be set free. Mixed with her aggressive personality the Super Saiyan energy within pushed her passed the normal limits of her race. When she had first reached her ascended form and taken the throne of New Vegeta, she thought that the epitome of Saiyan power. How wrong she had been. Nasu, Conri, and even Ezekiel had reached that same power, the blue haired Saiyan managing to push it past what even Akassa had attained. Partially fueled by her impending loss and the death of her allies, the Queen had awakened her true power. The strength she had discovered in her was enough to demolish all before her, the five warriors she felled at Central City a testament to her capabilities.
Such power was not needed today. As much as she wanted to unleash it, she had no desire to hurt Raska or Maya. It was the opposite, she wanted to help them both and help the Imperium. Rolling her neck once to loosen the tense muscles there she waits, eyes on her companions as they no doubt discuss their plan of attack. That was a good sign, the duo working together so that they might attack successfully instead of ending up on their asses. Even in a two versus one scenario though, they were not going to have it easy.
"Our Queen is no doubt unbeatable if she were to pull on her full strength...but I do not believe she intends that. Raska thinks we can give her a challenge as long as we work as partners." With that she powers up as well, a misty black aura taking shape around her form. The increase brought her on par with Akassa, but a little shy of what Maya had risen to. Never having seen the alien girl at this level of power, Raska gives her another smile. "Raska is surprised at your strength, what else have you been hiding from her? Perhaps she will ask after this is done, shall we?" With a wink and a nod towards their Queen, Raska indicates she is ready.
The playful girl then gives Maya a sudden and sharp slap on the ass before bursting to the right.
"Let's go!"
Arcing off to the right of their original position, Raska looks to close in first. As the weaker of the two currently, her goal was to try and create an opening for Maya. Coming in at Akassa's left, the Lystan showed no reserves about engaging the powerful female. Leading with a right hook that Akassa easily ducks back from, she follows up with a combination of strikes and kicks. Evenly matched with their Queen for the moment, her plan would be to keep up the offense, her constant movement and spinning having her heavy cloak partially concealing her movements. To her credit, she appeared to have Akassa matched for the time being. While she wasn't landing any blows she wasn't letting Akassa land any either, hoping to set up an opening for Maya who was hopefully closing from the opposite side.

"Our Queen...."
Maya repeated the words, her eyes slightly hovering over the appearance of Raska yet her mind was floating beyond what she spoke, her ears registering the woman's words yet her consciousnesses heard nothing of what she had to say. There was no attempt to be rude by doing this, even with the awkwardness Maya felt towards Raska; it was what she first said that Maya took most focus on. Was Akassa her Queen? Surely Maya saw Akassa as the powerful beckon that she was even the friendship that bypassed such boundaries, yet she wasn't truly a person of the Imperium at least in the sense that she was born within its borders. She followed in the wake that Akassa carved through out time, creating a long lasting history for her people which Maya was more than glad to assist Akassa with but by all facts Akassa was not her Queen.... For some reason this bothered Maya though she wasn't sure as to why that was; they worked side by side with another, that was enough... right? Maya never before had ever directly called Akassa queen when addressing her, simply she spoke her name as any other person would have when speaking to a friend.
Of course these were thoughts that were best suited to another time and another place when Akassa wasn't about to rain hell fire down them. Taking a deep inhale her eyes focused on Raska once again, having left one confusing situation for another of equal irritation, the vicious cycle never did end.
"Yes.... partners."
Maya spoke softly as she worked herself back into the conversation once more after having left momentarily. Coming to rise in strength Maya could feel the energy that radiated from Raska's new form; black mist swirled around her body in ever changing patters like the rapids upon a river bed, violent yet with some mysticism behind it. Having no real sense of powers beyond what physical means could be seen Maya lacked any idea of where Raska stood in means of strength compared to her own, let alone that of Akassa. Having faced the greatest warriors that the Earth had to offer she knew that Akassa was indeed powerful, either that or all those below on the blue sphere were far weaker than those of normal levels; Maya chose to be believe the prior.
Directing a smile towards her Maya gave a quick raise of her brow towards Raska as she took a half step backwards from her, such a look never meant anything good... just like at the wedding.
"Hiding? I reveal what needs to be, not what is."
Maya noted with a stern voice as she turns towards Akassa, already she had begun to channel energy within her body for the coming assault, hopefully Raska would be more than enough to bide some time before Maya had more than enough energy land a critical strike upon Akassa... but of course as fate would have it....
SMACK!
"Eep!"
The high pitched squeal bellowed through the air as her body arches forward from Raska's out of the left field squat of her ass. There was no pain to be found with her playful action yet Maya's eyes grew wide with the woman's firm slap of her behind. With all the energy that had been stored within her body now in a state of chaos Maya had no choice but to fire it off now, having lost her concentration the energy would quickly defuse if not used. With only one target in mind Maya locked onto Akassa's form and with the quickly deteriorating energy a burst of static green energy expelled from her hands, its silver sparks snapping at the air as it crossed the distance between the two of them.
"Raska...."
Maya muttered under her breath as she placed her hand on her ass where not seconds ago it had just been assaulted. (Get it? ASSaulted! Hahaha)
"What was the purpose of that? Hardly concerned team work."
She fumed to herself as she pushed the growing annoyance down, that would have to wait till later. It was just another reason to add to the ever growing list for why she preferred to be on her own.
Rather than just wait and watch the ensuing fight Maya extended her arm out before her as a small lump appeared in the palm of her hand, as if a creature was going to burst from her very flesh, which wasn't very far from the truth. Like something emerging from a pool of water a large pole jutted from her hand in a silver coated ooze that composed her body, as if being sucked down by quick sand object grew from her body at a slow rate till no longer was it just a pole but a full fledged scythe now gripped loosely in her hands. Fumbling it about in her hands for a few moments Maya pressed it lightly over her shoulder as she took off across the area towards Akassa and hopefully where her attack had hit home.

With Raska having so expertly assisted Maya in launching her attack, the Queen was a bit caught off guard as the energy rushed across the simulator. The playfulness of her two allies (Akassa thinking Maya accepting of it) did bring a small smile to the Queen's face, but it did not distract her from the task at hand. One more roll of her neck commenced before she disappears, moving right around the incoming energy with her Zanzoken. Her goal had been to rush the two of them now that the first shot had been fired and it would have worked had Raska not already sought to close the gap herself. Never having fought against the Lystan before, she was unsure what to expect but so far pleased at the forward approach.
In came the pale skinned alien, leading with a flurry of strikes and kicks. The way her hair and cloak tossed about with her flowing movements made it rather difficult to read. For that reason Akassa found herself slightly flat footed, hands snapping this way and that to block various punches while her lower legs snapped back and forth to intercept kicks. Off to the side she lost track of Maya for a moment, noticing the rod that was protruding from her palm. Never before had she seen the girl use any sort of weapon beyond her own body. Focus on the most threatening of the two at the moment, Akassa continues her exchange with Raska, starting to better adjust to the girls speed and fluid movements. The Queen had power, but she also had natural talent mixed with years of training. Part of her prowess was how quickly she was able to react and learn her opponents. Luckily for Raska, this wasn't a fight to the death.
Of course that didn't mean she was going to go easy on her.
Shifting slightly inward Akassa let's the woman's fist drive into her side. The solid blow forces the Queen to let out a grunt, but it was far from enough to stop her own movements. Right arm extended, she grabs a handful of the girls thick hair. With a twist and a yank she pulls Raska forward, flipping her over her hip and slamming her to the floor. Not at all playing around, the impact behind the hip toss was enough to crack the tiles underfoot. The groaning Lystan seemed stunned for a moment from the quick maneuver, Akassa quick to capitalize on the fact. Maintaining her grip on Raska ' s hair she shifts again, using her hand hold to toss the girl towards the approaching Maya.
The female projectile was meant to distract more than anything else. Using the momentum of her turn, Akassa turns further so that her left side was facing the scythe wielding woman. Mechanical hand snapping up, palm open she mentally commands the stored battery cell within to release. Assuming Maya was quick enough to dodge the flying Raska, a bolt of electricity launches from the Queen's hand, looking to connect dead center with Maya's chest. Thinking on the fly, she hoped being partially obscured would aid her attempt, Maya not seeing it until it was too late.
A small miscalculation would make things easier for Maya.
The plan had banked on the hopes of Raska still being a bit stunned, but such was not the case. Tossed through the air, Raska saw who she was going to hit. As her head lifted to see Maya, the alien was still smiling despite the blood that ran from the corner of her mouth, having hit face first moments before. Winking at the girl a twist has the Lystan weaving around the other female, giving Maya a chance to see Akassa's raised hand a moment before the energy charged within lances forward.

Maya knew the chances of striking Akassa in her first attempt would be next to nothing; the results proved just that as in a blur of moment Akassa disappeared in a blink of an eye leaving Maya's burst of energy sailing past where the Queen had been not seconds before. There was no disappointment to be had that in her attack that had missed, it only meant she would have to try once more, till she landed a blow against Akassa. It had become a common occurrence for Maya to be pitted against those with an upper hand on Maya, whether that be in the form of their physical capabilities or the one that pull upon the energies from within.
While Raska sought to bring the fight towards Akassa leaving little space between Maya's own energy burst and Raska's rapidly fired strikes. Maya too was having issues keeping up with the movements of Raska as her body twisted and swayed in the depths of her clothing, making her limbs look more than pale blue shimmers as they sliced through the air towards Akassa. The two went at it as Maya approached towards them, her eyes darting between the two of them as their arms and legs launched at one another in a furry of blurring movements; it took a lot to keep focused on their movements at such speeds, for some reason or another Maya thought the weighted coat from Akassa that she now wore weighed on more than just her body.
Closing in the distance between the three of them Maya watched as if in slow motion, coming in with a swift strike Raska landed a solid blow on Akassa with a sound that split through the air with the force of its impact, it took Maya by surprise that a hit was landed so early in the spar and on Akassa of all people; it was only the first of what was to come. Maya was unsure if Akassa had let Raska drive her fist into her ribs as she had done to gain an advantage, while the hit must have hurt to some degree the closed in distance gave Akassa the upper hand and the woman was quick to act on it. It was dirty fighting to grab another by the hair as Akassa did but all is fair in love in war, having heard of the pain from such a tacit Maya understood it must have been painful on Raska for Akassa to tear at her lengthy hair as she did but it was hardly the worst of what Akassa had planned to do. Whipping Raska over the side of her hip Raska flipped over like a rag doll that was anchored by its hair, slamming her straight down into the floor panels below they shattered upon impact sending their crying wails to all ears that could hear them.
Rushing forward towards Akassa Maya readied her scythe as it was steadied on her shoulder, her hands tightly gripping the staff in preparations to launch once the time was right. It was at that time that Akassa was quick to act once again, following up her brutal smack down on Raska, Akassa tossed the limp form of Raska towards Maya once again using her hair like a cord. Sighing through closed lips Maya shook her head from one side to the other thinking that she always had to be the save the group as well as lead it.
Barreling towards one another at their top speeds their eyes met for a brief moment as Maya saw the thin lines of blood that rushed down Raska's face, each one being smeared off to the side with the gusts of winds that bellowed against her face. She defiantly had taken a good blow from Akassa, many more were to come before this was remotely over and done with. Taking the few seconds they had racing towards one another Raska bent her body allowing Maya to witness the coming burst of energy sailing their way, clearly meant to harm Maya as dodging the incoming Raska was easy enough to do. Grunting under her breath Maya decided not to let Akassa have such a strike on her person, not on either of them; Akassa was strong, much stronger than Maya could ever hope to be but... Maya was smarter, much more so.
Rather than move out of Raska's way, or to catch her, or even to use Raska as a shield of sorts Maya held another plan, one of the most simple physics. With one hand releasing from the grip of her scythe it snapped out and took a hold of Raska's hand as it lay against her side. With their two momentum's heading in opposite directions a high burst of centrifugal force was created by their linking hands, as it spun the two of them about in a circle with their hands being at the center of it all. With moments to spare Maya released the grip sending the two of them off in two different directions and away from Akassa and her bolt of energy as it slipped past where they had been not seconds prior.
The combined forces of their speeds sent Maya sailing off towards the other side of the chamber but not for long as her jets kicked on as the decelerated her movement; arm raising out from her body Maya released a burst of energy which propelled her towards Akassa as her jets went into full power. Racing towards Akassa with all she had Maya raised the scythe from her shoulder as its long jagged blade began to glow a sickish yellow, arching it over her back Maya swung it forwards as a scythe shaped burst of energy sailed through the air towards Akassa. One was never enough, not with Akassa. Raising the scythe twice more an additional two blade fired off in a X shape as they crossed over each other, if one would not hit, then how about two?

Maya was undoubtedly smarter than Akassa. The alien's ability to comprehend vast networks and develops charts of countless systems was far beyond anything the Queen would ever be capable of. Her intellect was the main asset that she brought to the table, able to offer Akassa far more knowledge and insight then she could ever hope to gain from Nasu or Toa. It was also most likely the reason she had grown to trust the girl as much as she did despite the fact she was a foreigner. Maya's brains had lead her to bring a certain file to the Queen, one in turn the woman had been grateful to hear. Out of the entirety of the Imperium, the small alien girl was probably unrivaled in terms of intelligence and in most cases it gave her an edge, but not hear.
The Queen was not as smart as her ally when it came to most things, deciding more off emotion and personal desires than logic, but the one area she did excel at, perhaps even surpass her counterpart in, was her knowledge of the battlefield. For her it wasn't textbook knowledge, read and studied in a database but rough real world experience that had brought her to this point in her life. Her immeasurable power no doubt helped, yet knowing how to use it was what made her so dangerous. Even in a scenario like this, training between friends, friends she had no desire to hurt, that did not mean she wouldnt. In the Queen's opinion the best way to learn was by experience. Her entire upbringing had been one trial after the other, the young Princess receiving a thrashing by grown soldiers only to be expected to try again the next day. It had been her father's way of showing love, as hollow as it may have been, and now it was how she showed her affection. When the Queen of an empire took time to train you personally, it was indeed a compliment to your character.
As the electricity charge up in her artificial arm discharged, Akassa watches as the bolt of energy lances through the air. Molecules burnt up from the power passing threw them, yet neither of her targets suffered a similar fate. Wisely Maya had used the momentum of her partner to swing them both out of harm's way, clever girl, and in the same action set herself up to attack from another angle. So fluid was the movement that they resembled a pair of dancers, flinging each other about on dance floor.
With a clear view of her companion now, Akassa notices the scythe weapon she now wielded. So many seemed fond of weapons to extend their range in combat. Ezekiel had his sword, Nasu and Conri as well...and now Maya. Despite the shortcomings of the three males the footsteps Maya followed were not those of weeklings. For someone not overly experienced in the ways of combat, the girl was evolving quickly.
In similar fashion to Ezekiel NeCross's Crescent Slash ability, the scythe was effective at longer ranges as well. With each swipe of the long handled weapon arcs of energy spat forth, all of course aimed at the Queen. While she had no weapon to draw in response, she did have her own personally armor available at her beck and call. With but a thought Ki flows out around her, swirling around her body from shoulders to ankles. Slowly it began to take shape, forming into a chestplate and pauldrons, greaves and a piece protecting her midsection. Along with the Blade Armor came her signature gauntlets, sharp talons forming at the tip of each finger. Thanks to the late Masamune and her own innovation, the Queen was able to turn herself into a walking fortress of Ki based armor. That combined with her natural toughness and often greater strength would allow her to weather almost any storm.
Grinning as if welcoming the offense from her opponent, Akassa stands her ground. Booted feet bracing against the tiled floor, partially broken at her feet, she anticipates the first slash of energy perfecty. In unison her gauntlet covered forearms snap up and the side, using the Ki protecting her arms to smack the blast off to the side. Knowing full well there was another pair coming at her, Akassa decides to take them. Up come her arms, actually grabbing for the arcs of energy as they come in range. Small spheres of Ki having formed in her hands, the orbs detonate as they meet the incoming attacks. Armored and surrounded by Ki, the Saiyan Queen disappears in a flash as the blasts connect. Through the armor she still felt them, but with the weights dampening Maya's power she handles them with minimal effort. With a slight ringing in her ears, Akassa looks to go on the offensive once more. Rushing forward the smoking armored Queen rushes towards Maya, gauntlets clenching into fists as she prepares for her onslaught.
Several steps towards her intended target, Akassa's head snaps violently to the side as Raska ' s boot finds it, the force of the sudden blow taking the woman right off of her feet.
Sent flying Akassa only comes to a stop when her body slams into the wall a short distance away. Hitting hard the pair of them might even hear her pained grunt as she connects before dropping to the floor.
"Whooooooh!" Came the excited cry from Raska, rising from the crouch she had landed in to pump a fist into the air. Smiling wide at Maya she scamper over to her, eyeing the large scythe as she draws close. "Oh my you are full of surprises! First all this power you have been hiding away and now this thingy. Like Raska said before, she wants to know what else you are hiding!" The Lystan right hand coming forward to tap the girl on the nose as if this was not a sparring session with the Imperium's most powerful individual and instead some sort of casual social event. "The most Raska sees the more she..."
Whatever was about to be said was cut short as a chuckle comes from the rising Akassa, Raska's short attention span getting the best of her as her head turns to regard the third female in the room. Off near the wall Akassa had shove backed to her feet, staggering a step before regaining her balance as her eyes set on the duo. Spitting to the side once a fresh grin then reveals bloodied teeth, a fact that didn't seem to bother the Queen in the least. Audibly cracking her neck, Akassa lifts both gauntlet sheathed hands in order to motion them forward. This was far from done.

Having used their combined accelerations towards one another Maya and Raska had narrowly evaded Akassa's on coming energy spike by a few fractions of a second, an blast of energy that either was glad to have dodged from its path, knowing Akassa it would have quickly painful had it struck its intended target but quick thinking had saved the two of them for the time being; only a few throws had been exchanged so far and with Akassa that was simply the tip of the iceberg. Being caught up with Akassa Maya lost track of Raska once their hands had departed from one another, the woman was most likely fine had she the capabilities to recover from be tossed across the room before slamming into one of the walls, if Maya had the time she would have easily checked to see if Raska was holding her own but none could be found at the moment.
Arching the scythe over her shoulder Maya let go several crests of energy from the scythes glowing blade towards Akassa in hopes to damage the Queen but Maya was doubtful about the situation. The weights; while a meaningful as a gift slowed her abilities down greatly, everything from her movements down to her own energy levels seemed to be waning under the new found pressure which the weights provided on her body. It was trying, more so than usual to even compete with Akassa let alone land a blow on her person; having the knowledge in a fight was one thing but if such information could not be used properly it was useless to have in the first place. Even with that in mind Maya saw no reason to give up at this point, there might have been no chance of coming out on top in this spar but she wasn't about to wave the white flag this early in the fight; as if Akassa would accept anything less than Maya giving it her all, surrender was never an option when Akassa wished to fight.
Rising up to meet Maya head on the sickly yellow crests of energy raced forward to Akassa but before they found their target Maya witnessed a strange change about Akassa, as if her body almost seemed to morph before her very eyes. At first Maya thought Akassa was reaching deep within herself at her reserves of energy to leap in strength but this change was unlike the ones she had seen prior. Like a valiant knight fell from the heavens Akassa was quickly enveloped in platted like armor which covered the majority of her flesh from the outside world; this was something Maya had never seen from Akassa before, and that, that troubled Maya. Time and time before Maya had seen Akassa fight others, even spar against the woman herself a few times but never before had she seen such a ability used by Akassa; something most troublesome... yet it was what Akassa did that bothered Maya all the more than the armor itself.
Armored boots digging into the cracked flooring Maya watched as Akassa took a firm stance against the on coming energy crests rather than try to evade them, such an action was something to bring great worry; Akassa was confident, she always was but to stand there and assume that Maya's attacks would do little to inflict pain... that... was what worried Maya. Arriving upon impact the crests of energy slammed into Akassa in a fiery explosion that rippled through the room, shaking the air itself Maya shielded her eyes from the coming blast as she glanced through stilted fingers to see what had become of Akassa, though the truth of what became of her held tight in Maya's mind.
Grey plums of smoke littered the air around where Akassa once stood, their wispy movements slowly faded as Maya took first glance at what became of her bladed attack, the results were as expect as they were disappointing. Rushing through the hazy smog Akassa burst through the smoke towards Maya creating a draft of wind blowing the smoke away like a hurricane. As far as defense capabilities,Maya had few, though useful as they were it was understood that they should be used in the most dangerous of situations; this seemed to be a good moment to utilize them. Preparing for the coming assault Maya leaned her scythe out in front of her in hopes of deflecting at least one of the blows that Akassa was sure to throw, with the talons that stuck out from her gauntlet armor they would be the deadliest at the moment and the point of focus to fixate on.
With some luck however Maya was sparred from Akassa wraith at the moment as from out of the blue Raska jumped back into the picture, the woman had complety vanished from thought after Maya threw her off towards the other side of the room, her thoughts having been so focused on Akassa as Akassa's thoughts had been on Maya. Coming in like a rocket Akassa barley caught notice of Raska's foot before it came sailing into Akassa's face with all the strength and speed that the blueish alien could muster into the single hit. Head rearing off in the other direction Akassa's body was quick to follow as she was knocked off her feet and sent soaring off until her momentum came to a quaking stop with the help of a nearby wall. A faint grunt came from Akassa's limp form as slid down the walls face and onto the floor leaving Maya to turn her attention towards Raska who now stood at her side.
Eyes tracing the glistening scythe as it hung loosely in Maya's hands it appeared that Raska had taken great interest in the weapon Maya had acquired some time back before the start of the war, even before Raska had become a member within the Imperium. At first the weapon had been something to fear lacking any idea how it came to be in her possession but after seeing its performance in combative situations she had grown rather fond of it; at sight most people would back away thinking such a weapon was stuff of legends where the reaper claimed souls with such a weapon. It had proven its worth in times before so Maya kept it around, and with an easy storage capacity inside her own being its bulky size weighed her down none.
"As was spoken before; I reveal what needs to be, not what -"
Maya spoke in response to Raska comment but before she could finish a light, playful tap on the nose came from Raska's finger leaving Maya to shudder ending up with her taking a few steps backwards with widened eyes.
"For what reason was that necessary?"
Maya sputtered out in a baffled response; the woman acted as though this was social gathering where tea was severed along side tiny cakes on silver plates and not a facing off against one of the universes strongest beings.
But before anything else could come from it the deepened chuckling from across the way brought Maya's attention back to where Akassa stood from where she once lay; spitting off to the side Akassa revealed to them her bloodied teeth in her wicked grin. Akassa was the Queen of the Saiyan's for more than just her leadership skills, fighting was in her blood and while well placed and timed, one swift kick to the jaw wouldn't be enough to take her down. Cracking her neck with a seemingly joyful nature she beckons them forward to attack her. Maya had never met another who took so much enjoyment out of fighting as Akassa did; it was difficult to know if that was a good thing or a bad one.
Sighing softly Maya reared the scythe over her shoulder once more as she prepared to launch her self towards Akassa; had the weights not pulled down at her body it would have been a fair enough fight but Maya was out powered here, though it didn't mean she couldn't be useful, she could bide them.
"Raska, charge your power. I have not been inflicted yet, so I can stall. Plus... you are stronger than I."
With that Maya would take off across the area towards Akassa, her scythe ready to render whatever crossed her path. Had this been an actual live fire situation where death was on the line Maya would have never taken this path as self preservation was a primary point in her existence but since Akasas would never kill Maya in this setting Maya was fine with going face to face with Akassa.
Feet leaving from the ground Maya launched herself at the armored queen knowing all to well that this was foolish enough and she was flying straight into the jaw of the beast but it really was the best plan at the moment. Nearing Akassa, Maya would once more fire off a cresting burst of energy from her scythe; tailing right behind it Maya would follow in its wake till it arrived at its target. Whether the attack struck or not Maya didn't mind, it was more of a way to get close and have protective area before her; if anything it would prove more as a distraction than anything else. Once the attack hit or missed Maya would toss the scythe over her shoulder as it would quickly blend in with her body as it turned back into the silver liquid which she was composed of. Lashing out with her fists Maya would strike down upon Akassa with all the strength she had; keeping every part of her body moving her legs would strike out when her arms would not trying to keep Akassa from accessing any openings that would be exposed in Maya's defense.
"Use this time wisely Raska... for I don't think there will be much of it."

Akassa felt Raska's boot connect with the side of her face like a wrecking ball to the side of a decrepit building. It was her fault really, being so focused on Maya and all. Honestly the Queen had not forgotten about the other woman, but had allowed her senses to slip from her. Believing she had more time Akassa's plan had been to land a few solid blows on her other opponent then turn he attention back to the blue haired vixen. Head snapping violently to the side with her body soon to follow, the taste of blood was almost instantaneous. Whether the cut inside of her mouth had been from contact with her own teeth or just a result of the impact itself, she would never know. What she did now was that the kick had hurt, yet at the same time excited her.
Akassa didn't exactly enjoy the pain she often experiences on the field for she was no masochist. For her it was more what that pain meant. Taking a solid hit like that or bulldozing your way through another's attacks and still being able to stand showed what kind of warrior you were. The Queen loved the challenge of it and the harder that challenge became or the more she was able to put herself though, the more she loved it. That was why when, with a mouth full of blood, she hit the wall there was no true anger within her. Others might have let rage get the better of them in such a situation, but not Akassa. Not now. Her match with Maya and Raska was to further her own skills and those of her allies. With experience to gain and knowledge to share there was no negative to this conflict, only positives.
Slamming into the wall, she didn't even hear the tile cracking from the force behind the collision. Landing on the ground her world spun for a moment, senses shifting and struggling only to be forced back on track. Strength and will power is what made Akassa so indomitable. Maya knew that and so would Raska soon enough. Having missed the cute display between her female companions, she was soon on her feet. Clearing her mouth of the blood that pooled there, that was all the time she needed before continuing. Hands motioning for them to come at her, how surprised was she when Maya chose to engage first. No disrespect was meant, for Maya was a capable fighter. It was just that in most cases the intelligent alien fought from a distance or behind others, she was not normally as headstrong as Akassa.
Encased in her armor and gauntlets she was quite literally a walking fortress of Ki, but Maya did not hesitate. Leading with the same attack Akassa had just forced her way through, she came forward with the confidence of a Saiyan. Looking to keep the pleasingly aggressive girl on her toes, the Queen does not weather the blasts this go around. Instead she utilizes her Zanzoken, maneuvering around them to close the distance between the two even faster. The weights would do Maya well, but not without pushing her to try harder. The jacket was give and take; increase the effectiveness of any training while simultaneously making it harder.
The two clash an instant after Maya stows her strange weapon, Akassa noting how it works its way back into the girl's very being. A neat trick that would need to be asked about when this was done. Speed and strength gave Akassa all she needed to handle the incoming strikes while her armor was the backup in case one managed to slip through. Pretending to match Maya at the start she deflects each blow perfectly, sending in her own with equal speed to force the female into a pattern. When confident that they had settled into a flow, Akassa ups her tempo to her true potential. The plan was for the sudden change in speed to catch Maya off guard so her next strikes would land.
Stepping in, allowing the next blows from her foe to land wherever they might, Akassa drives her knee up hard into the girl's stomach. Planning that blow so that it would lift the girl from her feet, the Queens hands were ready. Her left grasps the jacket she had given her, knowing it could not reshape and reform like Maya herself. At the same time her other hand lifts up, palm directly in front of her face. Without a word of command your stand Ki blast lets loose, exploding at point blank range. Pending the success of her first three movements, Akassa finishes with a turn in the attempt to bring the potentially stunned girl up and over her should to spike her into the tile below. The last part was done in very similar fashion to how she had thrown Raska down before. Forward and brutal, that was almost always the way Akassa fought, but Maya must have known that coming forward.
Raska for her part had hung back as instructed, although she hadn't exactly started charging her energy when Maya had headed towards the Queen. The initial surprise that resulted from Akassa's so energetically recovering from her kick was quick to fade. There was much Raska and the Queen did not have in common, but they both loved a good fight. In fact that was why the Lystan had sought her out in the first place. Having heard rumors of her power and skill she had wanted to see it herself…she had not been disappointed. Yet, as much as she admired Akassa, she didn't exactly share the same focus when it came to, well, anything. Having fully heard and understood Maya's plan she had been fully ready to enact it before the running form of Maya drew her attention. It was one of those "I hate when you leave, but I love to watch you go." scenarios, the Lystan's attention not exactly where it should have been.
Only after the exchange began did she shift her focus. "Right…Raska charge." Both hands lifting above her head, Raska grins wide as a small dot of purplish-black energy forms above them. Pouring more into the attack, the dot gradually expands into a sphere. Dark wisps of energy began to drift off of it, the technique powerful, but a little wasteful in terms of energy. No bother, it was so going to be worth it if she was able to connect.

"This... is... stupid!"
Maya's voice rang inside her head at what she was about to do; face Akassa head on in combat. Really it would have been a death sentence if this had not been but a "friendly" spar between allies, little of it so far had been anywhere near the area of friendliness yet Maya could tell that Akassa was thoroughly enjoying herself even if she showed it through bloodied teeth. At least Akassa was enjoying herself, so few times had Maya ever seen Akassa smile, among those she couldn't help but think most were forced for reasons that Maya didn't or couldn't understand; Akassa was complex after all. Having spent much time around other Saiyan Maya began to realize Saiyan's were this way, tough at the surface like a plate of steel, it wasn't to say joy had been stripped from their souls but to see it usually only happened on joyous occasions or when they were fighting... which really could have been happening at the same event at the same time.
The other person was Raska of course. It was hard to tell just where Raska fell in all of this, while she certainly seemed entertained in the chance to face off against Akassa, Maya was sure that drying paint could have been enough to keep the strange blue alien preoccupied. Like Maya, so little was known of Raska's race, even Maya hadn't bothered to inquire just where she came from or what she really was; all that was known to this point of Raska was, she liked to dance, talk far to much, invaded personal spaces of others on a frequent bases and had light bluish skin... Maya wasn't one to learn much about others through speaking to them unless they were a machine, for only a machine could speak a life times story in a few seconds flat. On one hand Raska had dealt a decent blow against Akassa from out of the blue with glee upon her face but on the other part her focus waned in and out, the proof being the playful tap on Maya's nose a few seconds prior, a tap which could still be felt upon Maya's nose.
Maya on the other hand neither enjoyed or disliked to any great degree the fighting against Akassa, it was simply that; training, something they all required to reach higher feats of strength so when they faced those that caused threat they would be ready to stand against them. Sitting behind a screen, locked away from the rest of the universe was what Maya would have preferred over this especially with the awkwardness she felt around Raska but she understood this was necessary. Many had become angered with the Imperium after the events on Earth and it was well understood as to why that was, and one day, hopefully far down the line from now, their foes would surface and another war would rise from the ashes from the one before. All of this, the hits, the pain, the blood, was building them up for the darker days to come, for now though, the Imperium was rising to a golden age, it was clear from those which lead it as they battle each other to improve one another, each one pushing the other, not just to build strength but their relationship.
In a blur of movement Maya watched as Akassa's body jumped from where it had been allowing her to escape from the cresting wave of energy Maya had produced; sailing off into the distance the sickly yellow crest slammed into the wall with a hellish screech of steel on steel as it tore into its surface leaving behind a smoking arch. This was both good and bad for Maya, on one hand the ability which Akassa used surly had a duration to reset otherwise her body would burn up from over use with her atoms rapidly crossing space to reappear in another place in a fraction of a second; on the other hand, Akassa was now much closer to Maya with ill intent gleaming in her eyes and Maya had little to no time to stop her acceleration. She had planned to slow her speed some before she came face to face with Akassa otherwise her first strikes would be hyper accelerated leaving them rather sloppy, this was already starting off poorly for the little alien.
Slapping the scythe against her backside Maya could sense the weapon slowly sinking back inside where from it where it had come from, having done this time and time before the feeling was nothing to fear nor was it strange to her, comparable to another pressing with moderate force on ones skin, a tad uncomfortable to most but nothing which would cause great pain; not as though Maya could sense pain anyway. With the two forces arriving upon one another their fists began to fly back and forth at one another, their paces set in a sync but Maya could tell that Akassa was holding back. It was Akassa after all, she out paced, out shinned and out classed all fighters that came to challenge her, Maya saw no possibility that Akassa was actually moving at this speed on accident, she was either playing with her or plotting... Maya knew it was the latter of the two. Being toyed with was never Maya's style and she would have never stood for it but if Akassa was plotting Maya had no qualms with that, whatever was coming her way was no doubt going to be brutal with the way Akassa fought, this was all to buy time for Raska though, the only thought that kept Maya on the path she had chosen into the hell of Akassa's beat down.
In a flash Akassa's movements accelerated greatly before Maya eyes, there was nothing she could do once she took notice of Akassa's limbs turn into blurs but defend herself the best she could. The first hits came quickly with a deep thud as they pounded against her body with devastating force, it was at this point Maya would have preferred a bulletproof vest than the weighted jacket as it provided no buffering to the punches which rained down upon her like bullets. Eyeing Akassa through her swift punches Maya began to calculate the time between them to find an opportunity of attack but Akassa's technique coupled with her speed made such a thing much to difficult to maneuver about. Seeing a an opening with the greatest chance of success Maya leapt upon it as she blocked an incoming punch with the back portion of her hand, leaning in wards she slams her fist into the side of Akassa's face with all the force in her arm.
It was a decent hit, really the first she had gotten on Akassa but whatever joy that came from it was short lived. Pressure slams against Maya's gut with a gust of air being released from her mouth; folding over Akassa's leg whose knee was deeply pressed into her stomach Maya bends over from the quivering shake that moves through her body.
"Ugh...."
Maya groans out with the air escape from her lungs by Akassa's powerful strike.
Slow to recover from the precise shot Maya is forced upwards by her newly granted jacket as she brought face to face with Akassa, had Maya not been wearing the jacket she could have easily escaped from Akassa's grasp but the object weighed her down and made escaping from the articular of clothing much to slow to evade whatever Akassa had planned next for her. Lifting her free arm Akassa placed her palm directly before her face and let loose with a roaring burst of power which took the sight straight from Maya's eyes as all that could be seen was a burning flash of light. Arms flailing about as they pounded against Akassa's arms they grew weaker till her strikes were nothing more than weak twitches as Maya rested in Akassa's arms like a rag doll. Head smoking like a recently active volcano Maya hung limp in Akassa's hand as she was draped over Akassa's shoulder, with a abrupt twist over her shoulder Maya was flung towards the ground with all the woman's strength.
Inches away from the surface of the floor Maya's blanking mind snapped back to the world, her eyes growing focused as they narrow in towards Akassa shadowy form standing over her, and with a shimmer of her body Mays bursts into a shower of silver water droplets that scatter into the air like early morning mist. Vanishing in the blink of an eye all that remained of her was the jacket that had been given to Maya by Akassa only but a short time a go as it came smashing down into the floor below creating a shuddering quake that shook the foundation of the room.
Maya had been broken down to a liquid state before but nothing ever like this, her body was still whole but she could feel the whole area of the room and those which stood within it; she was every where but seemed to be no where to those who would look for her. Her body had assumed a state of being the vapor in the air, like a cloud Maya floated about still aware of what had happened and just where she was; it was eerie to be as spread out as she was, while she was still one object her body had been stretched out so thin and so small that the naked eye alone could not see her. Of course, this now gave her the advantage, at least for the moment, it had been in a instant that her body had broken her down to this point, reverting back might be a tad more difficult.
Like a chain webbed out across the whole room Maya fixed her mind upon one spot where upon her command all the particles which composed her body massed, rapidly Maya's silver form appeared in the room once again, her water state was quick to compose itself into her normal form. Having appeared behind Akassa Maya wasted no second to take the Queen by surprise, at least that would be her hope; having stumbled upon the new ability by shear chance Maya had no knowledge of its full extent or if Akassa had been able to track Maya as she floated about in particle form.
With the near point blank range Maya raised her hand with her palm facing out and towards the back of Akassa's head, pooling energy towards the center of her palm sparks of silver snapped at the air from the green ball which formed in her hand. While Maya knew it was going to be painful for Akassa she couldn't help but feel the irony in the set up of this attack.
"Pulsar Cannon."
The rippling ball of energy could release from Maya's hand only for it to greet the back of Akassa's head with all the power she had inside her.
Tech Unlock Rains Mirage- Seeming to explode into a shower of water droplets Maya is able to move about an area and reconfigure her appearance in a place of her choosing. This ability is often used to set up another attack.
