(Using Zero's Equipment, with his permission, or course.)
It hadn't took long to track down the robot's ship. As he had stated, the ship wasn't very far from the beach of Metropolis Island, where they had met. Taking to the sky, the young, green-haired, girl was easily able to find it. Touching down near it, she couldn't help but admire beautiful craftsmanship. She'd never actually seen a spaceship in person; and it looked as foreign as it could have.
Cocking her head to the side, her brow rose and she thought to herself, “He told me I could use it, but he never bothered explaining how...” Stomping a foot with frustration, she exclaimed, “It's Ohkara! Open up, dammit!”
Sure enough, as if by command, the door to the ship opened, revealing all that was inside. Stepping back with a look of awe, Ohkara's curiosity had peaked. It seemed that Number-Zero had prepared for her arrival, ”H-hello?” she asked, stepping up to the door, and placing a hand on the frame. Her call echoed through the chamber. No one was there.
Shrugging her shoulders, Ohkara entered, and the door slammed shut behind her. Turning, she took in her surroundings; there was no doubt that this ship was alien. Letting out a sigh, she was really beginning to wish the robot would have walked her through all this. However, the door having responded to voice command, she was fairly sure that the rest of the ship would have to work the same.
“I am looking for the training facilities,” she said aloud, hoping the ship could respond somehow. Sure enough, it did, the lights dimming, then illuminating a trail to a door.
Shrugging once again, Ohkara followed the lights, pushing the door open on arrival. Inside, the room was fairly large. There was a control-panel at the side, but other than that there was little to fill it. The floor was heavy marble, and it was scarred and scuffed; however, none of the marks looked deep enough to even feel underfoot. Smiling, she shut the door behind her.
“Hello Ohkara,” the ship chimed, making her jump, “Zero has programmed training parameters to proper specifications based on your estimated power signature,” it told her.
Raising a brow, Ohkara looked to the ceiling, unsure where to direct her voice, “Is that so?” she asked, skeptical of the idea. She'd never revealed her true power. What could he have possibly estimated on?
“Yes,” The ship responded, obviously unaware of her tone, “Are you prepared to start the simulation?”
Ohkara huffed, removing her green backpack from her back, and placing it on the floor, ”Give me a second,” she said as she opened it, and rummaged through the continents.
After a few seconds, Ohkara removed some cyan clothing from it. Putting everything back to order, the young lady pulled off her jacket and folded it, placing it too inside the backpack before zipping it up and hanging it on a coat-hook in the corner of the room.
Returning to the clothing she'd picked out, she spread it out, and dressed. A belt, two wristbands, and a pair of black boots. Each piece weighed a metaphorical ton; designed purely for training, this weighed clothing was what the girl had purchased with the zeni Number-Zero had given her; now she was ready to try it out.
Her new gear the only pop of color to her look; her tight black pants, and white tank-top the obvious choice of training clothing. Breathable, light, and most important of all, light-weight. As she stood with her new weights, she felt heavy and restricted; it reminded her of Ethar's chain mail. Letting out a small giggle at the memory, she began to walk around the room, getting her bearings straight in the new gear.
However, even under the weight of the clothes, she was able to move around freely. She was a natural gymnast, and the extra grace he body seemed to carry helped her adjust accordingly to each move she made, shifting her own weight and limbs to keep her on her feet; that said, moving in the air was a bit more challenging, and flipping and handstands seemed almost impossible in the beginning.
After a couple hours of warming up, Ohkara felt she had the hang of it, or at least as much as she could by just moving around. She'd done well to keep her energy stored, and was in fairly good shape as she landed one final set of flips and handstands. Her breast heaved up and down as she landed; she could feel her muscles burning as she pushed herself, and a massive amount of pressure was taken off them as she rested momentarily. Now, she was ready.
”Alright, Ship!”[/color] She exclaimed as her breath evened out, ”I am ready my training! Show me what you got!” though she had no idea what to expect, she was feeling cocky; as if there was no way Zero could have guessed how strong she really was. However, as the gravity seemed to instantly increase, a look of complete shock replaced her expression.
It hit her like a ton of bricks, and suddenly she felt as if she weight quadrupled. Her knees buckled and her body hit the floor, a yelp of surprise leaving her lips as she connected hard against the marble tile. Her gazed shot to a small screen which flickered to life, simply reading “5g”. Unknown to Ohkara, that was the gravity now, five-times the gravity of what she was used to.
“Gravity increased to five-times Earth's,” The ship stated plainly, then added, “Beginning simulation.”
The room around Ohkara darkened, then faded to black. Lost in the darkness, she felt helpless as she sat, stuck to the floor. Then, with a sudden flash of color, Ohkara was sitting on the side of a busy street. Yet another look of confusion crossed her face as she eyes the people and the cars that passed by. There was something familiar about this place, but she couldn't figure out what that was.
Pushing her energy into her legs and arms, she slowly hoisted herself to her feet. Gazing around, Ohkara had an idea of what was happening. Obviously, the ship was somehow projecting images of this city. In reality, Ohkara was likely still standing on the tile floor of the training room. Smirking, the girl took a few steps forward, pushing past a crowd of people, who responded accordingly. She was surprised by how active this simulation really was.
Her body lifted into the air, albeit with much more energy exerted than ever before against both the gravity and the weighed clothing. Flying high above the city, Ohkara was able to get a look at it, and she couldn't believe her eyes. Bright yellow orbs widening, her jaw dropped, and she let out a gasp of wonder. It was Central City! She was in Central City! Even though she knew it was just a simulation, it was unbelievable. She never thought she'd see the city again!
That look of awe, though, would be wiped off her space as the sky darkened. Suddenly, dark thunder-head clouds appeared overhead, and crackle of thunder ripped though the bustling, busy city like a gunshot, seeming to bring silence to the whole world. Sudden bolts of bright blue lightning ripped though the clouds, slamming against the ground in violent displays of power. The civilians rushed off, breaking the silents with screams of terror, but Ohkara was only left to gawk as the chaos grew.
A silhouette exited the electrically-charged clouds, a horrifying power radiating from it. As it neared her it came into focus. A golden ki fluttered around it, bright golden, spiked hair accenting it. The face was yet another reason for Ohkara to feel terrified. She knew who this person was... It was Akassa; evil Queen of the Saiyans. And by the look in her eyes, she was there only to destroy, “Apprehend her!” the Queen roared, pointing a powerful finger at Ohkara.
A set of three fighters emerged from the cloud behind her. All of them males, dressed in that trademark Saiyan-armor. She could feel their power levels, none above her own, but nothing to be scoffed at. As they closed in on her, she could see the hatred burning in their eyes. Simulation or not, it lit a fire inside her. She had to fight back. Her left hand tightly grasped the handle of her umbrella, which hung at her waist, and her index finger reached for a small button. As the button was pressed down, there was a quiet click.
Tugging hard on the handle, Ohkara unsheathed a deadly turquoise rapier, just in time to decapitate her first attacker. His head flew through the air, a look of shock plaster on his face. Had this not been a simulation, there would have been a sickeningly, and massive amount of bloodshed, however it seemed that the simulation had a filter for such violence, which was good news for the young hero.
Her other aggressors stopped, dead in their tracks. It seemed the sudden blade-work had frightened them, but only for a second. Quickly regrouping, the two made an attempt to flank her. Acting quickly, her free hand shot up, pointing the index and middle fingers towards one of them. A hastily fired blast of ki released itself from her fingertips, colliding with the Saiyan's eyes, and causing him to grab his face against the pain. There was no doubt that he was now blind.
Fluidly, her body adjusted in the air as the second of the remaining lackeys attacked, making her face him. His punches and kicks were hard, and Ohkara could feel like power as it doubled, easily surpassing her own, and though she had avoided his attacks in the beginning, with his new power increase, she found his attacks connecting more and more with each second.
A final kick connected with her chest, pushing her backwards. A set of arms wrapped themselves around her from behind, locking her in place; it seemed the one she'd blinded still had some fight in him. She should have never counted him out so quickly. The stronger of the two grinned, nearing her, a finger running down her cheek, a horrifying look of madness in his eyes. Ohkara had to get out of there. Now.
“Heeeeyaaaaah!” the girl let out a powerful roar, her own energy doubling. Her pupils dilated as a her adrenal glands went into overdrive, pumping adrenaline throughout her bloodstream. Though with her weights, this power was only half what it normally was, it was enough for her to overpower the man that held her. With her free hand, she grabbed his arm, whirling him over her head, and fluidly striking his torso with her rapier, pushing his corpse into the other and propelling them away from her.
Quickly pushing the body off him, the remaining Saiyan let out his own roar of power. A golden aura burst to life around him, his eyes turned a cool cyan, and his hair spiked, turning the same golden color. This was something Ohkara was vaguely familiar with. A transformation known as Super Saiyan.
His energy level far surpassed the young lady's, and she had little doubt that she would be able to win with offense alone. No, her stance shifted, as did her blade, showing a more defensive side. Smiling, the Super Saiyan rushed her, his speed unbelievable. Her free hand shot out, palm against the blunt of her blade as she blocked his strike, the force alone enough to propel her backwards. Grunting, Ohkara readied herself for a second barrage.
And attack, the Super Saiyan did. Even faster than before, he moved atop her, striking with more fury than ever before. Doing her best to block the blunt of his attacks, Ohkara was pelted over an over again by him, her speed not enough to keep up. She had to go further if she wanted to win. She needed to attack with everything she had. A hasty kick connected with her at just the right time, and she used the force to, once again, distance herself from the aggressor.
Her own toxic-green aura exploded around her, her muscles doubling, her eyes widening, her power doubling once more. Her free hand pointed a palm at the Super Saiyan, and she let out a roar, ”Meteor Barrage!!!”
At such close range, her napalm-like ki coated her opponent as it rained down on him. His flesh sizzled and he let out a scream of defeat. Though, that was not enough for Ohkara. Drawing back her blade, she released it, unleashing a fury of slashes at the saiyan, finely dicing him to pieces. As he faded out of existence, Ohkara's gaze returned to Akassa, who only smiled at terrifyingly. Raising her own hand, the Queen's ki built up in her palm.
Ohkara's eyes widened; her body unable to move, freezing with fear. This was it. She was done for.
Unleashing the blast, it quickly devoured her small frame, effectively killing her as it did so. The whole world faded around her, and after just a moment, Ohkara was standing right where she'd began; in Number-Zero's training room.
“Simulation complete. Gravity returning to normal.” the ship chimed over it's loudspeakers, just further proving that none of what happened had been real. Ohkara, however just stood in disbelief. She couldn't comprehend what had happened. Her chest heaved, her breath was erratic, a look of panic was plastered on her face. What had just happened? She'd been defeated so easily; with only one blast. Was the real Akassa really that powerful?
Gulping painfully, Ohkara's yellow orbs blinked, and she moved back to reality. Her hands tightened into fists, and she could feel her own power exploding outwards, one final burst of everything she had, ”I will become stronger!” she roared, pumping her fist into the air, ”I wont let that happen!”
Then, as if struck in the back of the head, all the energy faded from her eyes, and she went blank, her body falling to the floor with exhaustion. The combination of the gravity, weights, and shear excitement had been too much. Now, it was time for some well earned rest.
