Akassa was in the HFIL. Well, that was at least how she felt. With the use of individual space pods currently prohibited she was forced to take the transit system that had been set up between the four major systems. The hybrid had even attempted to gain access to one of her father’s vessels, but all were spoken for by orders of the King. It’s wasn’t that the public travel system was unsafe or even unclean it was the fact that it was crowded.
To her right sat one of the largest humans she had ever seen. The man must have been twice her weight and triple her girth. He was large enough that his seat did not exactly contain him as he spilled over onto hers, pressing against her. On the others side of her sat some strange alien creature, it’s strange green skin and almost furring looking arms making it rather unappealing to look at, never mind the strange scent that wafted off of it. Since the transit system was not owned by either Earth or New Vegeta it was open to the public and there was no special treatment, so the Saiyan Princess had to ride just like everyone else.
Looking out the portal to her right Earth was close now, the ship already having passed through the atmosphere. Although Akassa was as proud a Saiyan as any she held no ill will towards the humans and their planet. Actually she found it could be quite beautiful, and there were some humans on the planet that were impassive enough in strength to be considered a challenge for some Saiyans. There Furher King was rumored to also be quite the impressive although Akassa had never seen him fighting against anyone.
Letting out a long breath as she always did when she found herself getting annoyed with a situation the female begins to focus on the task at hand. Batkin Jurino was her current charge. He was a somewhat accomplished warrior in his own right, but as of late had taken a turn for the worst. While assigned on missions to Earth he had started to add extra objectives and requests to his missions, using the false tasks as a way to extract more money from the contracts. On top of that he had been keeping the extra for himself, trying to take advantage of the humans and Saiyans alike.
Such acts were treasonous and Akassa had been assigned to apprehend him by any means necessary. Closing her eyes she goes over the details again. Having seen him before she was aware of what he looked like. A large man with an overly muscular build it was true he could be quite intimidating, but to Akassa it was a challenge she was up too. He had just been sent to Earth the day before to meet up with a military unit of humans in order to combat a small rebel group. Of course it had all been set up so that Akassa could catch him on Earth, making a statement of the royal families power and keeping the drama off the streets of New Vegeta.
With a small hiss the ship finally docked in Central City and Akassa Hattori opened her eyes. The creatures in the shuttle, a variety of sizes and shapes, all starts to hurry out. Some went right on their way, while others had to check in with the customs unit since they were new arrivals. Waiting till the ship was empty Akassa then made her way out, handing the small data chip to the agent in charge of the platform and heading off. It had the Hattori family symbol on it and when looked into would contain all the protocols and permissions she needed to be on Earth and for what reason she was.
Stepping to the outside platform she looks up at the blue sky, it was something the Moon did not have, the floating clouds much whiter here then above New Vegeta. With a thought she launches into the air, rising up above Central City before coming to a stop several hundred yards up. Looking down at the grandest of human cities she opens her palm wondering what it might be like to posses the power to destroy a city, not that she would do such a thing on Earth. Akassa was half-human after all and one day hoped to meet the human female that was her mother, the human banished from the Moon after giving birth to her.
To the north near Mount Paozu was where she needed to be. If all had gone according plan the bait was already set and Batkin was already there, thinking he was about to make another nice little profit at the expense of both parties. Letting a small smirk form on her face she commits, rocketing off towards the north. The wind whipped around her as she flew, the small dot that was Akassa Hattori barely visible to those below her, if they even bothered to look up. Her power was not suppressed, but if no one was looking for her it shouldn’t be that obvious that she was there.
Through training and practice one could learn to suppress their power to different levels, to better hide from their opponents or surprise them in combat. Akassa thought the whole idea of such a thing cowardly. In fact she planned to make it a point to never learn such a technique. So what if someone knew where she was or when she was coming? Let them know and let them fear what her goal might be; perhaps she was coming for them.
Up ahead the site came into view. It was a small structure, and smoke was already rising from it. The plan had been simple. Batkin had been hired to remove a small band of mercenaries that had been using the structure for a base. Since it had been set up the “mercenaries” had been told to flee at the first sight of an actual attack. The black pillar rising into the air was no a doubt of Batkin’s aggressive fighting style, having no doubt gone in Ki blazing.
Using her limited sensing abilities she could feel several signatures, all but one of them lower than her. As she drops from the sky the Princess was surprised to find the one high signature coming from Batkin himself. Standing outside of the building with his arms across his burly chest the Saiyan kicked over the one captive she saw, the hired arm apparently not having fled fast enough. Her attention though was on her charge, her jaw set a little at the fact his power was apparently a little greater than hers. Her sudden appearance seemed to confuse the Saiyan male for only a moment, the liar quick on his feet.
”Princess Akassa, I was not aware that your royal presence was requested for this mission. Even so I am glad to see you have arrived, I just finished here and this one tells me there is a second base in which more of his men are holed up.” Having saluted her already he then turns to head back to the man, no doubt planning on continuing his lie. Akassa knew there was no other base, the bound man had been hired by the crown to catch Batkin in the act and he had just fallen for it.
”How dare you? We had doubts that the rumors of your treasonous acts, but now you lie directly to a member of the Hattori family? Despite her normal calm demenour Akassa’s voice rises some. The daughter of the king could control herself in many situations, but being blatantly disrespected was something she did not handle well. ”What do you have to say for yourself Batkin Jurino?”
He stopped on his tracks at the accusation, slowly turning to face her. The smirk on his face was not what she expected, was not he not bothered that he had been caught? Unfolding his arms form his chest he starts to walk towards her. ”So they sent you to bring me back, is that it Princess? I will tell you what I have to say about your accusation.” Unbelievable the larger Saiyan lunges right at her, his fist coming right across her jaw.
Normally Akassa was not so easily caught off guard, but the royal Saiyan had never been blatantly attacked by a member of her own forces like that before. He was stronger than her and the punch to her jaw was proof of that as it lifts her right off her feet. Sailing through the air she lands on her back, sliding some. The other assembled, all of them part of this start to move towards Batkin, but Akassa’s words halt them. ”Do not interfere!”
Hopping right back to her feet she glares daggers at him. He had started this fight, but the Princess of the Saiyan race would end it, and in short order. Rushing right back at him her left arm snaps out to the side. In the seconds it takes for her to close the distance Ki starts to form around her arm, encasing her forearm and extending beyond it. Turning to the side Batkin’s arms lift up to block the attack, but he underestimates the amount of power the technique lends her strike, her Power Whip slamming into his arm and it was not his turn to be launches through the air.
The technique was draining if sustained, but offered much power in return for its cost since it basically formed her Ki into a blunt weapon around her arm. Letting it dissipate after it connects the females wastes no time as she rockets off after him. To his credit he manages to flip in the air and plant his feet as he slides across the dirt, leaving to lines in the ground as his boots dig in. Almost colliding with him the hybrid sends in a string of attacks, striking in a flurry, but he is able to block them all. During one gap in her strikes he snaps his head forward to headbutt her in the chest.
The force of the blow was enough to shove her back and in turn open up for his assault. Pressing forward just as aggressively as she had Batkin starts to rain blows on her. Akassa did well to block most of the more powerful fighter’s attacks with her arms and legs, but some start to get through. One connects with her side, another with her shoulder and then another across her jaw. Back on her feet now she is force to back pedal as he continues to assault her. Punching in with bother his fist she attempts to block them only to have her arms knocked out wide, his boot then planting solidly in her chest.
With a groan she launches backwards, rolling head over heels across the dirt to end up on her stomach. Growling some in anger she shoves up to one knee, whipping a small amount of blood from the corner of her mouth. Snapping her gaze up to him the cocky smirk on his face only enraged her further. ”This is all the Hattori family has to offer? I think I am done here, I will finish you off you little privileged bitch and be on my way.”
Coming at her once more he stops just short as his leg snaps up to drive a brutal kick into the side of her head as she remains one knee. Except the blow never makes it to her head, her right forearm snapping up to stop the attack cold. Akassa Hattori had finally unleashed her full power, providing her with more than enough strength to block his attack. Grinning up at him her other fist jabs forward, sinking hard into his stomach despite the armor he wore, not the heaviest of Saiyan issues armor.
The disrespect and insults had angered the Saiyan Princess and Batkin was going to find out why it was a fatal error to cross the royal family. Rising back to her feet she drives her knee up into his chest now to launch his body up into the air. At nearly 8000 pl Akassa was now much stronger and faster than him, her anger only fueling her ferociousness. The knee to the chest starts to launch him into the air, but she catches his ankle. Turning she slams him into the ground before turning another 180 to slam him down again, the impact cracking the ground beneath him. Still clutching his ankle she turns and lets him fly, his body crashing into the building they had used as part of their set up.
Grinning widely Akassa launches into the air, rising up above the building. Quite enjoying herself now her hands start to alternate sending blasts at the building and Saiyan contained within. The frequency of the blasts increases as her hands work back and forth, sending in blast after blast. Those on the ground start to back away from the building as she continues, the Saiyan Princess not letting up as her Super Energy Wave attack gets into full swing.
With a large grin on her face she continues to send blasts down into the now crumbling building, the consecutive blasts starts to collect on each other as they reduce it to rubble. Starting to breath heavy she does not relent, her rage being played out on the man below. Screaming out her arms work in a blur as she drags out the attack even longer feeling the draining effect the attack had on her body, but that does not stop her. Almost a full minute later she would finally stop, her arms dropping to her side as she pants heavily still grinning at the dust cloud below that had once been a building.
Slowly dropping back down to the wall she sensed nothing from the structure in front of her, no signature at all. Now she might not have been an expert, but she at least knew how to sense a signature. Batkin Jurino was dead. Initially she had been sent to capture him and bring him back to for a trial, but it was far too late for that. Still catching her breath some none on the ground dared approach her, having just seen the extent of her power. Noticing their eyes on her she sucks in some air before speaking.
”We are done here. Make sure to clean this all up. I will report to the King personally while you can inform the Furher that the situation has been handled, understood?” Like usual her tone left little room for debate and on top of that she soon lifts back off the ground. In a much better mood now she almost didn’t care she had to take that damn shuttle home, but still that fight was more than worth the horrible trip here and back.
