Outside the lovely tournament stadium at the Colosseum of the Immortals, Snow had gotten the crud beaten out of him by a lousy man who in his mind was frankly nothing to him at first. That said though, his perception had changed when the man had beaten him at a fair ground there while refusing to bow to him. Now Snow decided to take his training more seriously and while on the coliseum's grounds had gone into a small shop to purchase a dangerous training capsule. People on his planet called them "Gravity Chambers", tiny little ovular capsules which when opened exploded in a puff of smoke and caused large metal domes stored inside to pop out.
Snow held in his hand a small blue and white capsule of this description and tossed it out into an empty field of bed rock near the stadium. He smiled as the white smoke exploded and a dome made of strange white metal appeared in from of him. It had a square door with a turn able handle, but other than this looked rather plain. Stepping towards it he reached out his hand and opened the dome's front door. The dome's energy grid, which was surprising a floating metal box on the inside with a few switches on it and a panel, was off. Snow was glad of this considering that he dared not step inside it until he knew it was safe. The reason being was that those who entered these kind of training devices ended up often dragging themselves out as though they were clawing for dear life to the little life they had left in their bodies.
Training under gravity sounded like a dangerous experience, based on the rumors he had heard, and for that reason, he was not about to go in there alone. He thought about calling on the man named Frigid, an Icejin he had met earlier to train with. Unfortunately, he had no idea if the man was at the tournament. Not many Icejins had come to participate at the tourney considering that the Icers had sent only their weakest to fight. Not even the prince, Prince Sleet, had come even though it had been rumored he might have wanted to come. It was a sad day for Snow who ended up being the only notable participant at the event; although, maybe it was necessary for him to actually be seen as someone worthy in the eyes of the king and the other royal members of Beta Minor. After all, many considered him clinically insane, maybe.
For now, he decided to call in his second best choice, a man he had fought earlier, he only remembered what he looked like so he decided to stand around and wait to see if the guy might pass him by chance. It was worth a shot and he really did want revenge. He had never seen a man who could throw him into a wall before like he had nor shoot blasts like he had during their brief scuffle. If one thing was for sure, it was that he was likely the only creature at the stadium with a proper training device like a gravity chamber. It at least showed off his wealth to the criminal locals, maybe a couple of the newbie fighters as well. As he leaned against the front door of the chamber he sighed and thought, "Perhaps I should do something interesting to attract him?"
Ultimately, this led him to powering up a small blast of ice in his hand and forming a tower of icy rock no more than ten feet in front of him. Surely, this might attract his new friend. It was worth a shot.

Waiting around like this was doing nothing for his mood, he wanted to be in the midst of the battles. Not just watching from the sidelines all the time, it was really just a pain in the ass. The four battles that concerned him weren't going to be going on until the later days anyways. So in the meantime, Conri needed something to do and maybe a way to train a bit more before getting into the last stages of the tournament. The issue was finding someone that was strong enough to fight on equal grounds with him or piss off someone really strong to get the snot beat out of him.
Considering the latter option for only a moment, Conri's attention was soon drawn to a ten foot object in the middle of the street. That couldn't be an everyday occurrence either and he'd only met one person that could do that. Was it the same person though or could all of his people create something like that? "Well, no use standing around here asking myself that question," with that he was off towards the pillar of ice.
It didn't take him long at all to arrive at the point of origin for the ice tower and looked at the person that formed it. "Well, surprise meeting you here. Is this an invitation for me?" he asked, a large smirk forming. If he wanted a rematch from the other day than Conri would be more than happy to give him another fight. Hell, this was actually the perfect thing he was looking for, according to what he could tell they were just about evenly matched. That meant he would be able to get one hell of a work out from this little get together.
"So, did you want something or did I answer a call for someone else?" he might as well find out the reason he was here. If this wasn't for him then it wouldn't be that great to stick around here, but if he was thinking along the same lines as Conri. Then there was going to be a rematch between the two of them, and it was likely going to be much bigger than their last clash.

"Yes, you are indeed invited to a nice little fight Mr. Mysterious. I remember you right off the bat and I must say you're looking well." Snow stated as Conri came up to him and asked him if the signal had been for him.
Snow tapped the side of his metal door and then stepped inside his gravity chamber. He beckoned Conri to follow and stated, "You better hurry up. This metal dome you see before you is a lovely thing called a gravity chamber. Right now, it is off, but once on can increase the gravity inside itself by hundreds of pounds. Ultimately, I invite you into this thing since I want to train, but also wish to wallop someone, you in particular, for slamming me into a wall."
He turned around once inside and put his hand on the floating cube inside the chamber. Once Conri was inside he would turn the thing on. But for now he allowed its strange energies to remain dormant.

"Is that so? Well, I'm glad I'm such a memorable person that warrants an invitation like this," he joked, tapping the ice tower. It wasn't everyday someone sent you a challenge in the form of a giant ice sculpture in the middle of the street. Not that he could complain too much, he was in the mood to meet with this guy again. He seemed to have a strange thinking to him and Conri was looking to knock some sense into the guy. Then again, maybe this person had gotten a lot stronger since their last encounter that was possible.
"Oh, is that so? So, you want to duke it out while we're being pressed down by gravity? Sound fun," he grinned now. This contraption sounded like it could be a lot of fun, and with his opponent being as strong as he was, it would be worth it. Without waiting, he entered into the chamber, waiting for this clash to get started. Whether this Icejin guy got his revenge or Conri scored another victory under his belt was yet to be seen, but it was definitely something that excited him.
"Whenever you're ready feel free to start up the engines," the half-saiyan prepared himself, shifting his body into a defensive stance. Depending on how potent this machine was, he might need a few minutes to adjust to the pull.

Snow pressed a button as soon as Conri entered the dome and finished speaking. After his words, the floating cubic machine began to spin. Very slowly it began to generate its own gravity and as it did Snow shouted over the buzzing of the machine, "Computer set the gravity in here for five times the current gravity!"
Acknowledged. the computer answer as the panel on the spinning machine read out 5 Grav. in tiny glowing orange letters.
As soon as it did the machine spun even faster than before and the gravity chamber's bent and formed a bowl like shape underneath of them. After it did this Snow began to feel a sudden increase of force press down on his legs. His knees buckled and the generally one hundred sixty seven pound Icejin immediately had his weight increased five times the regular amount to eight hundred thirty five pounds. He wondered if the man before him, Conri, was having as easy of a time. Snow was a small Arcosian and with his tail dragging him down as well as his upper body he kind of felt like just falling over.
Sadly, his will power would not let him do this. He could feel beads of sweat splash down over his blue eyes and because of this they stung very badly. It definitely clear that it was no lie when people said, "Gravity Chambers are dangerous."

As soon as he entered the room, his opponent pressed a few buttons and initiated the gravity. It started slowly at first, but then increased almost immediately, the pressure forcing Conri's legs to bend. He felt a lot heavier than he had been just moments before, was this what these chambers were designed for? The fact that he could barely move was something of an annoyance, but the fact was it was a workout just standing. Sweat began to bead down from his head, his body was trying to adjust to the change in gravity. With having lived on Earth all his life, he was far too unprepared for the drastic change.
His opponent didn't look like he was doing much better though, but he doubted it would last long. They were here to fight after all, and while the gravity made things difficult, he was starting to adjust. It wouldn't be long before he could move about, not as well as he had been able to without this pressure, but enough to fight. This was some insanely powerful machine, he couldn't deny that he would get stronger from this. A grin spreading across his lips, this was going to be fun, and boy was he going to look forward to the challenge this would provide.
"Let me know when you are ready to get started," he called out, more than ready to get this underway. Of course, he was still trying to get his own body to listen to him as well, but the gravity was certainly a lot stronger than he imagined.

Snow bent his legs straight, having recovered slightly from the increased weight and uttered, "I'm ready now, but an eight hundred thirty five pound body, which is what I feel like I weight now, feels really heavy." He slowly walked towards Conri after he was done with his little speech and let his tail lash out to hopefully slap the man across the chamber with an unknown amount of force. It was to be a simple action, but under the strain he was feeling things did not look up for him.

His body screamed and ached for him to get out of this death trap, but his mind was blocking out as much of it as he could. With the gravity straining his muscle to pull out even more power than they normally did just to stand, he was trying to get used to the heavier feeling. It was almost like moving through water with how sluggish his body seemed to be following his commands. There was no way he would be able to fight to his full capabilities while being pressed down like this, but that's what made it fun.
When the Icejin whose name he still didn't know started to approach him, he knew there would be an attack. However, his body was still unresponsive for the most part as when he tried to move back from it, he didn't go nearly as far. So the tail caught him and launched him across the chamber, landing hard against the floor. The impacts of falls were a lot harder with the gravity as well, so he had to sit still for a second or two for the stars to clear. Glancing towards his opponent, this was going to be a bit more difficult than he imagined, but that was what made this fight worth it.
Pushing himself back up to his feet, he stretched his legs a bit first to try and get some of the feeling back into them. "Alright, that was pretty good, now we'll see what happens with my turn," dashing forward as fast as he could, it was half his normal speed at best. With a slight jump, which didn't gain much air, but enough for what he wanted to do. He used the enhanced gravity to add more power to his downward punch aimed for the Icejin's head.
"By the way, I figure you should know the name of the man that beat you before. Conri Lane," he introduced himself, preparing himself for the next attack that his opponent threw at him. He was having a hard time lifting his limbs completely, but he could guard better now.

The man before him, now calling himself Conri Lane, quickly got back on his feet after being slammed across the room by Snow's tail and complimented him for his efforts. Unfortunately, Snow had wasted so much energy in that one attack that after having done that his tail hit the ground very hard. Snow screamed in pain after this yet had actually wanted to go back to watching Conri struggle with lifting his arms again. He could not for the moment his tail dropped not only did it inflict him serious pain. But he bent forward due to its odd counter balance and his face hit the floor. Yet again wounds opened his forehead and blood spilled across the floor.
"Conri, what a dumb name." he answered his foe. "It only fits a dumb human, but mark my words once I get off this floor I'm going to continue trying to hurt you, maybe even kill you for insulting me earlier." Snow tried to move his arms and got into a position where his elbows were sticking up straight on either side of him. Unfortunately, the five times gravity made it so that he could move no more in the chamber. His first attack had clearly been luck or the simple fact that his tail had carried most of the weight in his body for him. How? He really did not know, but perhaps it acted like the third leg of a three-legged stool. All he knew was that lying on the ground was rather painful with his face bleeding.

The last attack had caused an ache in his legs due to how hard he landed back down on the ground. Stumbling back a few feet to try and regain his balance, it was hard fighting like he normally could. Five times the normal amount of gravity could be a really pain in the ass to deal with, but he kept himself standing. There was no way in hell he was going to let this gravity kick his ass, hell no, he would keep on his feet. If he got smacked by his opponent fine, that was different, but not from something like this. His pride would not allow him to drop to the ground under mere gravity.
"Yeah, gimme your best shot, I'm right here," he provoked the Icejin across the way from him. Shifting his arms to a better fighting position, it was hard to stand like that, given how much his body was weighing him down now. He needed to try to force his body to adjust to this faster, he was Half-Saiyan damn it, they were supposed to be built for this shit. "Oh, that reminds me. Technically, you got what I am wrong. I'm Half-Saiyan and Half-Human," if he was going to insult him, it should at least be accurate.
He tried to bounce around a bit, but the most he could do was push up on his feet a little. It would work to the same effect that he wanted, he was using his leg muscles more and trying to get them warmed up faster. Maybe it would help him at least get back to a more comfortable speed, he hated just standing around or moving slowly.

Snow listened to his opponent's words after he got off the ground and watched him bounce back a few feet on his weighed down legs. He grit his teeth and could only respond with, "So, you're a Saiyan inbred? That would explain why you have no tail and some actual brains."
He tried to move quickly towards Conri, but due to his heavy tail he could only walk at a very slow pace while his tail weighed him down and let a long white skid mark like a base ball diamond painting machine. He cursed his heavy tail and heaved a deep breath as he got within five feet of his foe. "I'm about to faint," he complained as sweat dripped from his forehead, "but when I get to you I'll knock you around some more to increase your IQ you dumb rival of mine. The strong are the ones with brains you know. How else do we blow up buildings with artificially made energy and no logical explanation for how it's formed?"
At this point Snow was beginning to talk about the basics of ki. It was a concept that had baffled scientists for years, but apparently everyone had it. And everyone tried to use it to hurt each other at some point.

There was a bit of banter from his opponent, that was good! It meant that he was still able to do something at least, which was what the Half-Saiyan had been hoping for. What better way to have some fun than to fight against a strong opponent? "I suppose that's as close to understanding it as you can come, huh?" he smirked, wanting to provoke his opponent a bit. Maybe if he got mad, it would help him fight against the effects of the gravity. Then they could really get started with thrashing each other about this tiny little room.
Dragging that tail behind him must have been something of a pain in the ass, thankfully his own wasn't over-sized like that. Taking his stance, he readied for the Icejin's attack, but instead his opponent decided to talk. First it was about fainting, which he supposed was understandable given the gravity, but Conri wouldn't let himself be beat by that. "What's the matter? Mighty Icejin is gonna let a bit of gravity kick his ass instead of an opponent?" he smirked, they were five feet from each other now. Then the conversation took a turn towards the basics of Ki, was this supposed to be something he didn't know? "Well, it's not an exact science, but there is actually a book on Earth that describes it in as scientific of detail as possible. I've actually read it myself, it was quite educational," he responded, not entirely sure what he was actually supposed to respond.
"As for me needing a higher IQ, I like where mine is right now. Especially since I have something outside of the realm of Ki as well," he smirked. There were very few that actually had possession of the ability he did, and from what he knew, he got his psychokinesis from his father. It was actually quite useful and he wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Well, maybe one thing, but that was impossible as it was. "Is that all you wanted to say on the matter?" he was ready to get back into the fight. While this was nice, he had been thrown a challenge for battle, not one for a debate...unless he had been deceived. That would be annoying.

Conri's words soon filled the air and controlled it. He went on and on about how the effects of gravity were kicking Snow's butt, and there were helpful books on the subject, and how much he liked his his currect IQ. It was a huge annoyance beyond anything Snow would continue to tolerate. It just wasn't his style to continue banter, talk, or chit-chat. But in reality it actually was.
Snow as a huge talker and a hypocrite, but as Conri got ready to attack him again he breathed in deeply and thought, "I can't move, he might not be able to move, but I need something still to defeat him." The only thing that worked at the moment was clearly his mouth despite having so many muscles in it.
He let his energies gather into his mouth and when his cheeks bulged up like a chipmunk's he attempted to shoot off a blast of energy from his mouth. Unfortunately, he only got a fizzle of white energy and a puff of hot breath. It surprised him a bit he had been able to gather energy there and do something with it, even though it was cruddy looking, yet this was actually the rudimentary formation of the technique called the Mouth Blast. The issue was he had expended too much energy with it at once and now could not move.
It was Conri's turn now, but he was likely not to go easy on him. Experimenting now with random techniques was not something he was probably going to get a reward for. Conri was likely to be on him in a second if he wasn't already laughing his pants off.
Attempting to Learn:
Mouth Blast Japanese Name: Kochi Kara Kikou Ha This is the ability to shoot a Ki blast from your mouth. It can be a very surprising attack, and one which is usually very powerful.

It seemed that his new friend was going to be trying something new, and puffed up his cheeks like a chipmunk. Blinking for a moment, was he trying to make him laugh? Was that the new tactic here? He knew better than that though, thanks to his advanced sensing abilities he could tell there was energy there. However, when the energy was released it fizzled out and released a puff of air, not as impressive as he expected. Still, it wasn't a bad idea for him to try forming a new attack in the middle of a battle like this.
"Not bad, needs a little bit more work though," he offered, figuring it was an honest attempt from his opponent. Sure, it failed but that's what happened sometimes, he wasn't going to fault him for being creative. Granted, he didn't want to try anything that could backfire on him just yet, mostly because he wasn't sure what he wanted. Too many thought with too many options were floating around in his head for him to make heads or tails of right now.
The only thing he had to do was figure out an appropriate way to strike, or maybe he would just extend the fight. See if this Icejin could try pulling off that attack right this time, and maybe add a bit more fun to this fight. Stepping forward with one foot, he used it to stabilize himself and as a start off for his next attack. Lifting off with his other foot, he brought it around to aim a kick for the Icejin's head.

Snow gasped for breath trying to figure out why his attack had failed. Unfortunately, he did not have much time to think on this for his opponent offered him a quick comment before stepping forward and launching himself off his foot to kick at the Icejin's head. Snow saw this coming and raised his arm as quickly as he could in order to block the attack that was headed towards him. His reflexes were slow under the gravity they were in though so instead of hitting somewhere below the wrist Conri's attack hit the palm of his hand and caused his hand to fly backwards under the momentum.
Snow could hear a sickening crunch as the end of his hand broke at the wrist. He sucked in more air as he tried to block out the pain with his mind and gathered more energy into his mouth. This time as he opened it energy flickered at the back of his mouth where his tonsils were. He pushed this energy forward with his will and caused a quick, but very weak beam to erupt from his mouth in response to Conri's painful kick to his hand. This beam would probably hit Conri in the face, but if the man was lucky he had a chance to dodge or block some of the energy with a bit of skill.
Perhaps having his hand broken at the wrist was just for the bad mouthing Snow had directed at Conri moments ago. All Snow cared about now was the fact that gravity not only increased the weight of a person, but the force of their attacks as well. It would explain why his mouth blast had not worked the first time. His lungs were not used to working in an environment where the gravity on them was so great. It was scientifically explainable altitude sickness, however, they were not in a mountain area, which was why the whole situation was laughable.
