Both fighters’ names would be heard over the louder speaker, cheers coming from the crowd as they are announced. The contestants were to climb the stairs to opposite sides of the platform and take their places. Once both were ready they were free to start their match. Banduk was nervous. For the first time in this tournament, he wasn't just anxious to see what his opponent was like. He'd entered the competition knowing that he might face a real challenge, but this time was different. He knew the person he'd be fighting was strong thanks to the research he'd done on the Icejin race in Alpha Prime's historical archives. Before, each match was like entering a dark cave, unaware of what he might encounter. At least that approach left room for some optimism and curiosity. Now, it was like entering a dungeon with a 'keep out' sign on its door. He knew just how dangerous it was to continue, and he was plunging head first into the fray.
After his routine preparations, Nanduk was ready to head out into the stadium. He'd meditated, stretched and warmed up his muscles. Everything was optimal, his power was at its maximum potential. He took a deep breath when an arena attendant came to notify him that it was his time to head out. For the fifth time so far, he exited the waiting room and began the long walk through the space arena's metallic hallways, where he made it to the final corridor. Bright lights shone into the arch, and just outside, the crowd roared with anticipation. It seemed that Banduk had picked up quite a fan base over the course of the competition, but right now, that was the last thing on his mind. He just breathed deeply, prepared to fight his best against whatever awaited him in the ring.
The Namekian Warrior entered the main stadium, walking down the path towards the stage-like ring of battle, where he would participate in what was perhaps his most difficult battle yet. He could feel the Icer's energy from across the gigantic room, slowly drawing close. As soon as Banduk stepped onto the arena floor, a chill went down his spine. He caught sight of the alien across from him, an orange and white creature with some kind of black armor. It didn't look sturdy enough to provide any real protection from someone in a tournament of this caliber, but it certainly seemed capable of shielding vital organs from lesser attacks. It was an unfamiliar feeling, a sense of dread that loomed inside Banduk's mind. Every match he'd ever fought on Namek was just sparring, a simply training exercise, and throughout the tournament, none of his opponents gave him significant trouble. But Frigid, the Icer... Banduk knew that this being not only held enough power to match him, but could very well have the intention to severely injure Banduk. He was fighting in self defense, now.
"I'm glad to be able to face you in battle. I've read a lot about your race, and I'm sure I won't be disappointed in your strength." Banduk said, bowing deeply. This bow wasn't like his usual sign of respect... He kept his eyes locked on his opponent, taking a shaky breath as he did. He didn't want to let his guard down now, since he had no idea how his opponent would react to this opening. Frigid's energy was dormant for now, and didn't pose much of a threat... It was what lied ahead that made Banduk uneasy. The transformation. He didn't know if Frigid in particular was capable of such power, but he kept his guard up anyways.

This time, Frigid stayed much longer in the rejuvenation chamber than required. This was not because he was wounded, but simply because he was doing his own meditation. As he sat within the small tube, he relived his whole experience. It started with the preliminaries. A round of two fights that were pretty easy. This was followed by his bout with Kurosanai, a Sayain who'd shown Frigid that there was much more to fighting than he'd ever imagined. This fight was probably the reason he'd won his second match against Snow.
Strategy played huge part in the ladder, but so did dumb luck. As Snow had shown, he was far more than capable to beat Frigid in brute strength alone, but he'd made a mistake. And it had cost him the round. As Snow smashed his fist into the arena floor, he'd completely destroyed it, something that Frigid wouldn't have been able to mirror. But that left him open to an attack that pushed him out of the ring. Learning from his opponents mistake, Frigid would do his best to stay away from the edges of the arena.
Frigid slowly stepped out of the rejuvenation chamber once he felt ready, and slowly made his way down the hallways to the waiting area. The familiar room eased Frigid's nerves a little, but as he neared the tournament's brackets which were posted on the wall, they returned.
An orange finger scanned over the names, resting for a second on his own before following it's path up the ladder. He gave silent thanks to Kurosanai and Snow as he passed their names, and let out a deep breath as his finger landed on the current round. "Banduk Gundu," he read aloud, recalling the fighters. He'd been told that Banduk was a young Namekian warrior, who'd surprised the stadium in his rise. No one had expected such a young warrior to advance so far into the tournament, but Frigid had come to learn that age was not everything.
A smile crossed his face as he turned to the large double-door which would teleport him into the bright lights, screaming fans, and huge coliseum. A second deep breath left him as he was told to enter the ring, calming him. He'd served his purpose and beaten Snow. He would get the answers he was looking for. From here on out, fighting in the tournament would only be for him. This would be his way of proving himself. He had made the right choice to leave the kingdom. He was a warrior, not a guard.
Pushing through the huge doors, Frigid entered the arena, the sounds of the roaring crowd making him grin. It was so welcoming to have the arena cheer, each as anxious to watch the bout as the next. Something about it was beginning to fill Frigid with pride. He loved the attention. As he slowly strode up the staircase and onto the arena, he rose a hand, showboating a little. The crowd responded with a second, even louder roar. They were ready for this fight. And so was the Icejin.
It took only a minute for his opponent to enter the ring. The Namekian looked like an average Namek, but he obviously made it this far for a reason. A dry chuckle left his mouth as Banduk crossed the stage and bowed with respect. Frigid could see the look of caution in his eyes, but simply smiled as he spoke: "I'm glad to be able to face you in battle. I've read a lot about your race, and I'm sure I won't be disappointed in your strength."
Bowing back, Frigid crossed his right arm over his stomach, the left behind his back, his eyes never leaving his opponent, "The pleasure is all mine, Banduk. I look forward to discovering just what kind of power you have." As he rose, his tail flicked at the ground, dusting the completely repaired arena, "And please, do not hold back. I would hate to have a repeat of my last match." A wicked grin covered the orange Icejin's face as he crouched down low, readying himself for battle.
And with a familiar shout of the announcer, the beginning of the fight was signaled.

A respectful, martial arts-like bow would have surprised Banduk. Frigid's show of courtesy, however, seemed appropriate for an Icejin. They were a proud race, some might go so far as to say that they were quite power-hungry. This individual behaved in a very regal manner, and while Gundu would have preferred a bow that was a little more proper, he wasn't about to nitpick about something so petty. Still, Frigid rubbed him the wrong way... That smile suited someone who was in the arena for something selfish or vile, and the Icejin's wave to the crowd was a bit self-centered from the Namekian's perspective.
"Ah, snap out of it..." Banduk scolded himself inwardly, a bead of sweat dropping from his brow as he stood upright, staring Frigid down as he sunk into his typical fighting stance. Almost like a boxer, his fists were kept close to his torso, ready to attack or defend quickly as needed. "It doesn't matter why he's here. I need to stop judging his appearance..." the Grand Elder-in-training thought to himself, trying to focus more on the fight. He was raised to never judge a book by its cover, and to refrain from acting upon such superficial observations. "I don't plan on it." the Namekian said, indicating that he intended to go all out. His plan of attack was simple...
While he made a habit of starting matches slowly in the past, analyzing his opponent's techniques and mannerisms before being offensive, Banduk had a different idea in mind this time. He knew he had to take his opponent down as quickly as possible, cutting off any opportunity for Frigid to reach his next form. He didn't know what to expect, but he knew that as long as the Icejin's power stayed where it was, Banduk had the advantage.
And so, as soon as the round started, Banduk went full force. He dashed towards Frigid, and with superior speed, began throwing a barrage of punches. His Warrior form was in full swing, aura blazing in a display of pearly white energy. His fists swung in tight, compact motions, always snapping back to protect Banduk's body as soon as they connected. He didn't waste any movement with wide swings, doing his best to prevent a counterattack. He threw in a kick every so often to mix things up, knowing that at his current level, Frigid would fall victim to a considerable amount of damage.
Even during this combination of attacks, Banduk remained aware of Frigid's tail, and was prepared to defend against something unexpected.

(I wasn't aware that you started at 47,298.)
Banduk wasted no time, rushing Frigid with intense speed. Quickly crossing his arms in front of him, he would have to do his best to guard himself against the barrage of punches that was sure to come. As the fists started flying, Frigid was thankful for his thick Icejin skin, however each punch still packed some damage. It was obvious to the Icejin that this fight would need to come to an end quickly. He would have to think quickly and act quicker to get out of this one.
To get space between the two, Frigid would whip his tail back behind him. A large golden scythe blade of ki would form, and strike at the Namekian's midsection like a snake striking it's prey. Whether or not the blade connected was trivial. Frigid would take advantage of the Namekian's reaction by back flipping and firing a barrage of ki at the young Namekian. This would, hopefully buy him just enough time to burst into his Brute form. The transformation would be much quicker this time, having had warmed up by transforming in his previous matches. But as soon as the transformation completed itself, it would leave him open to an attack.

Banduk was glad... His attacks had an effect. It wasn't some trick, and even though the Icejin's plating did end up protecting him to some degree, Banduk's punches were definitely dealing out the damage he intended them to. Frigid had asked the Namekian not to hold back, and Banduk refrained from doing just that. He kept on punching, making sure to breath properly between strikes as to not suffocate himself. He had to stop himself from feeling too happy since a more difficult battle lied just ahead.
The Icejin composed himself in mid-combat, whipping his tail towards Banduk. Not only did the appendage move rather quickly, but it was also tipped with some sort of blade made out of solid energy. Banduk was able to block it with his arms without much trouble, but it gave Frigid time to leap back while firing off a cluster of Ki blasts. At that moment, Banduk sensed something swelling up inside his opponent. The Icejin was definitely about to power up, and with the orbs of Ki closing in, the Namekian had time for one last attack before the transformation would be complete.
Banduk pointed his hands up towards Frigid, letting out a loud yell as he fired a yellow wave of destructive Ki. This energy would break through the barrage of projectiles heading towards him and slam into Frigid just before he transformed. While the transformation process might not be interrupted, it would serve to damage the Icejin one last time before his Brute form came into being.
Finally, the Icer changed his form just like Banduk had feared. The green fighter grit his teeth out of anxiousness and flew backwards, putting a good deal of space between him and Frigid. While the Icer's injuries accumulated so far would still be present, his new reservoir power would certainly allow him to ignore some of that damage. Now, it was time for phase two of Banduk's battle plan. The first phase involved weakening his opponent as much as possible before the transformation. Now, depending on how powerful Frigid became, Banduk would act accordingly. Unfortunately, the gap in strength was great. Banduk had to catch his breath and focus, keeping his guard up as he worked on deciding what he should do next.

His attacks served their purposes as he was able to distance himself from the Namekaian. However as a large blast ripped though the smaller ones and connected with Frigid's changing body, he was forced backwards. Though he was too far in the transformation that it would not be interupted, the attack was enough to force the Icejin to the edge of the arena, as well as redden and burn his orange skin.
As his feet hit the end of the arena, he fell backwards, back heading directly towards the floor and a ring out. With a desperate yelp, Frigid's right hand shot up, nails digging into the arena floor. His feet and tail curled inti his body, just barely saving from losing so soon. As his left hand dug into the arena, he propped his feet against the side, jumping backwards and catching himself in mid air. It was times like this were he truly appreciated the fact he could fly.
Hovering beside the arena for only a second, Frigid would touch down further away from the edge. Hopefully never to repeat such a mistake again, "You're quite strong, Banduk." Though there was a gap in power now, Frigid was far from ready to drop his gaurd. Raising a hand, Frigid would charge up a sticky Hell Grenade, about the size of a softball, and fire it towards the boy. No matter what surface it connected with, the blast would wrap itself around and explode.

(( Just to clear any misconceptions, Banduk is fully matured despite his age. Just like how Piccolo Jr. matured quickly after being born, so did Banduk. In fact, Banduk Jr. is older than Piccolo Jr. in DBZ, I believe. ))
Banduk was pleased with the results of his attack, but he didn't smile. He was too busy concentrating on what might come next to feel any sense of joy or relief. Things were going his way up until now, but thanks to Frigid's transformation, Banduk had to watch himself carefully. The Icejin was surprisingly close to being ringed out despite his ability to fly, which was used towards the later half of his recovery maneuver. Frigid's new appearance was now on full display for the Gundu Warrior. The white and orange being was much taller, and seemed somehow more adult-like. Banduk knew the Icer was an adult in the first place, but that fact was clearly visible now.
Banduk didn't react to Frigid's compliment, only bracing himself for whatever attack was now in store for him. An orb began charging in the palm of Frigid's hand, pointed directly at Banduk's location. The Namekian waited for a moment, attempting to dodge the grenade at the moment it was thrown. He did just that, sidestepping using his Bukujutsu in order to hover to the right. Unfortunately, the gap in power between the two was far too great. The grenade flew at an incredible speed, snagging Banduk's left leg as it lagged behind his body in mid-flight. With wide eyes, Banduk braced his muscles and tucked his arms in front of his chest, facing his upper body toward the ground in order to shield himself. There was nothing he could do to stop the explosion from damaging his leg, but he was at least able to block most of the damage from affecting his torso too much.
The blast was heard throughout the stadium, and Banduk dropped to his feet, stumbling a little before taking his fighting stance once again. He grit his teeth a little, his left leg visibly damaged thanks to the explosion. It was charred and bruised, and his pant leg was torn considerably. "It's just one limb... You can keep fighting, Banduk." he told himself, taking deep breaths in order to ease the pain. He stared at Frigid with a glare, knowing full well what he had to do in order to have a chance at winning. "... There's only one thing I can do, now." the Namekian thought to himself. He knew it would have come down to this, but he had hoped that he wouldn't be forced to act so soon in the fight. He needed to use the technique especially created for battle against this Icer.
The Fierce Body.
Banduk closed his eyes, keeping his senses on high alert for anything Frigid might try and pull. In just a few seconds, Banduk suddenly let out a loud grunt. "... Hrrgh!!" he growled, his muscles quickly bulging to a much higher density. Veins and tendons were visible, his whole body swelling with power. This skill bypassed the natural limitations on his body, pushing each and every muscles to its absolute physical limit. His speed and strength rose dramatically, and he could now barely feel the pain in his left leg. He began panting heavily from the energy consumption, his heart and lungs working at almost 150% capacity in order to supply him with enough stamina.
(( Speed and strength 1.6x = 75,676 ))
As Banduk opened his eyes, his conscious thinking began a blur. Adrenaline pumped through his blood vessels, and he began finding it hard to concentrate. "This is... My only chance..." he managed to tell himself, knowing that once the technique had run its course, he would be left severely drained of energy. He would be hit with a heavy fatigue, unable to fight any more. Not only that, but his lack of mental clarity meant that he would have a hard time reacting to Ki-based attacks, not to mention the fact that he couldn't even use any of his own. He was grounded firmly in place, and after taking one last breath of preparation, his launched himself at Frigid with everything he had.
His speed was now on par with his opponent's, and for the first time this match, the two were almost exactly equal in power. They had both received considerable damage as well, but the only difference between them now was Banduk's ability to shrug off the damage affecting his body. He was gunning at his opponent at full force, not letting anything stop him. He did his best to block any attacks coming his way as he closed the distance between the fighters, opening up his attack with a punch that stretched his arm about three feet. Hopefully, this would catch Frigid off guard and open an opportunity for Banduk to his with a vicious barrage of punches and kicks, each one alternating to a different part of his opponent's torso.
"I have to... Weaken him..." Banduk repeated in his head, unable to think of anything but his battle strategy. During this phase of the fight, Banduk had to beat Frigid hard enough to lower the Icer's strength to a point where Banduk could deliver a knockout. He only had a few moments to do this, and he had to make each second count.

Though the Namekian tried to sidestep, he was caught by the Hell Grenade on his left leg. The explosion was loud enough to echo through the coliseum, but Banduk acted quickly, shielding the rest of his body. Stumbling for just a second, the Namekian acted quickly, powering himself up. As his muscled budged, Frigid could tell he would be much different to fight now.
His next move, however would not surprise Frigid. The whole tone of the battled had been aimed for a fierce battle, so as the Namekian warrior rushed him, he braced himself for an attack. Before nearing striking distance, Banduk cocked his fist back, and threw a punch, his arm enlongating and connecting hard with Frigid's crossed arms. From there it was only seconds before Frigid was once again a punching bag.
This time, Frigid would be able to match the young warrior block for strike. His speed was equal to the Icejin, and that would be a problem for both of them. Frigid would throw his own punches, kicks, and even tail whips, but there was no doubt in his mind that Banduk would match each blow the same. The two fighters were on fighting on the same level.

(( Sorry for the slowness. College is kicking my ass. ))
Banduk could have sworn his arm-stretching attack would have at least caught Frigid off guard, but this opponent was apparently ready for anything. The Icejin was on the defensive, and though it might have seemed like a good match to a spectator, the Namekian competitor knew better. He was running out of time. The two were on a nearly identical level as far as strength and speed were concerned, but it wasn't enough that Banduk was keeping Frigid occupied. The Icer was throwing just as many punches as he was, and while Banduk was definitely able to block them, he was fighting a losing battle. "I have to... Fight back...!" the green Warrior commanded himself, pushing his body to try its hardest in order to slip through Frigid's guard.
As the next few moments went on, it would soon become apparent that Banduk had an advantage for the time being. His body felt almost no exertion, and his muscles were at their maximum output. He wasn't slowing down in the slightest, while Frigid would no doubt feel strain starting to take effect. The Fierce Body technique allowed its user to ignore most pain in their body, even if the damage was still there. It was just one way the technique shut down parts of the brain responsible for subconsciously limiting the body. Most fighters hesitated when they sensed damage on their body, but Banduk was fueled by an unnatural surge of strength. Of course, this skill had major drawbacks. Banduk simply hoped he would be able to alter the course of this fight before the downsides took effect...
His time was running out, so Banduk decided to try and prepare an opportunity to land some solid blows. He kept pounding away at Frigid's defense, skillfully parrying any attacks that came his way. Though they were quite vicious, his punches were compact and controlled, the kind meant to chip away a foe's guard rather than simply break it. Then, all at once, Banduk drew his left fist back with a wide motion, putting the entirety of his killing intent into the windup. He threw the punch forward, only to suddenly shift in weight.
The Namekian's punch stopped short, and in an instant, his legs were pushing at their full force towards the ground. He dashed as close as he could to Frigid, effectively weakening any incoming straight punches. Fists with no momentum were significantly weaker than those thrown from a medium rage, so the Icejin would need to rely on more powerful attacks in order to get any results. However, in the same motion that he dashed forward, Banduk twisted his body in a counter-clockwise motion, his left punch only acting as a high feint that seemed to be aimed towards his opponent's head. Frigid would the receive a devastating hook aimed at the rib cage, a right-handed punch that carried every bit of Banduk's power. It would be enough to even injure Banduk's hand from the recoil, but with the Fierce Body in effect, Banduk only grimaced for a moment.
"I don't care... If my body suffers...!" he thought during the split second of time where he was able to analyze the effect of his punch, hoping that Frigid wasn't able to avoid damage.
"I don't care... How much harder I must push myself...!!" he stated inwardly, gritting his teeth as he pulled his left fist to his waist, every muscle in his arm bulging with power.
"... I'll take you down!!!" the Namekian growled savagely, a true Warrior clan mentality emerging, if only for this moment. With that, Banduk threw the final attack in his combo, his left hand springing upward, aimed straight for Frigid's chin. The ground cracked and splintered underneath him as he pushed upward with everything he had, putting every fiber of his being into this last ditch effort.

It seemed that the battle was going Frigid's way, but only for a second. There was much more fueling this Namekian than met the eye. As Frigid's attacks were blocked, he was able to block Banduk's as well. A stalemate of brute power. To anyone in the crowd, this fight would be pleasing. And as they roared, it only helped prove this. But in all honesty, down in the arena, things were not as they appeared.
Though Frigid still had plenty of stamina and drive left in him, Banduk was not slowing like he was, nor was he getting sloppy. Rearing his arm back, the young Namek prepared for a hard hit. Closing in on Frigid, the icejin was confident he could block it. But in the blink of an eye, Banduk appeared inside his range, a right hook connecting hard with his ribs. Even through the Icejin's thick skin, this was an attack that hurt.
A second punch connected hard with the bottom of Frigid's chin, sending him flying into the air like the head of a rockem-sockem-robot. A yelp barely escaped his mouth as he connected with the floor, blood exploding from his mouth. His breathing was staggered, and his ribs and chin bruised. As blood dripped from the corners of his mouth to the marble flooring, Frigid could see stars.
"This can't be it..." Frigid's legs curled, his arms flailing lightly to find the floor, "I wont... Give up... His tail whipped to the right, along with the rest of his body, sending him to his stomach. His hands shot to the floor, in an attempt to push him up. Falling hard, it was obvious he was in pain. "No... No... No..." Each word left, only fueling him to try again, only to fail once more. Growing enraged, he would attempt again, "No...No, no, no, NO!!!!" the final, a roar a testament to his strength. With one final push and an explosion of ki, Frigid would stand, and face the Namekian.
His hand's curled, and with speed at his max power, he rushed Banduk, cocking his right hand back. Nearing his opponent, his arm would shoot forward and release and explosion of a concentrated ki wave. This was Frigid's Death Wave. The only attack he hadn't used in the tournament. This was the "ace in his sleeve" and it was fueled with as much energy as he could pack into it.

Banduk was quite pleased with the results of his combination of attacks. At the rate he was going, he might actually succeed with his plan to weaken the Icer enough for a fair fight. Banduk almost smiled at that thought, but then recalled what would happen in just a few seconds... He knew his time was almost up, the Fierce Body's duration was close to being reached. His brain was working on reinstating the limitations on his muscles and organs, which would revert his body's systems to their default capacity. Of course, given how much energy he'd put out during the technique, a Namekian's normal rate of breathing, heartbeat etc. wasn't nearly enough. He'd go through an intense phase of exhaustion, one that would severely limit his fighting capabilities. He just hoped Frigid would be too weak to properly fight by that time...
The Icejin's moment of anger and determination gave Banduk enough time to take a quick breather, preparing for his final assault that simply had to work. He looked down, realizing how beat up his body was. His left leg was damaged, and his left hand was dripping with a small stream of purplish blood. It seemed the punch to Frigid's jaw resulted in Banduk's fist grazing the horn that protruded from his opponent's chin. Not only was his outer body injured, but the Namekian's muscles and internal functions were close to their limits. If just one more minute passed, he was sure his body would literally fall apart. Fortunately, the Fierce Body didn't last long enough to tempt him into doing such a thing. Now, Frigid was standing once more, preparing to try and end the fight.
The Icejin powered up to his limit, entering a state of rage that seemed to utilize the last of his energy. Banduk was ready to receive this attack as best he could, knowing that after this, both fighters would be on their last legs. The green Warrior from Namek lowered his stance, putting up a guard meant to block whatever attack his opponent threw at him. Unfortunately for Banduk, the attack was an explosion composed of Ki, which took more than simple physicality to block. Normally, energy attacks required the target to focus some of their own body's energy to the point of impact in order to deflect or disrupt the technique. Of course, Banduk's Fierce Body nullified his ability to do so, forcing him to defend with muscles alone.
Banduk gritted his teeth and growled as the explosion shook his body and slid him back. He was able to keep his footing thanks to how much force his body absorbed, but the results were quite devastating. The very flesh of Banduk's forearms was burned and peeled, sending pools of blood dripping to the ground. Smaller injuries usually went by undetected to Banduk, but this hurt. It wasn't painful enough to keep him from fighting, but it was certainly distracting. "Nghh... Hraaaaghh!" the Namekian roared, quickly recovering from his stunned state and rushing Frigid.
Hoping the Icejin was still cooling down from the energy attack, Banduk sprung straight into the optimal range of attack. If Frigid's arm was still outstretched from releasing the Death Wave, Banduk would begin the barrage with an upward kick to the arm that targeted the elbow. If the kick succeeded, there was a good chance that it would break the arm. However, that would only be the first attack of many. Once he was in range, Banduk swung punch after punch, each one carrying almost as much power as they did when he first began using the Fierce Body. While the pain and fatigue wasn't wearing on him, the technique couldn't hide the simple fact that his muscles were losing strength. No matter how you looked at it, Banduk's body was failing him.
After striking quickly and sharply, Banduk threw a wide hook, hoping to have Frigid attempt to duck under it. Just after the hook passed over the Icer's head, the Namekian threw a jumping knee to the face in an attempt to break Frigid's guard for the last series of attacks. Regardless of whether or not the knee connected, Banduk then initiated his last ditch effort. He delivered an uppercut that started low to the ground, rising as powerfully as possible into Frigid's midsection, trying to aim for the solar plexus. After the first uppercut, he wound up another with the opposite hand, again throwing one to the abdomen. Again and again, Banduk desperately threw upward punches, each one coming slower and with a bit more force. "Rgh! Ngh! Ah! Hrgh!!" he grunted, putting an enormous amount of strain on his arms as he continued driving his fists into Frigid, whether the Icer was blocking or not.
Finally, Banduk reared up one last punch this final attack carrying every ounce of stamina he could muster up. He threw it at Frigid's face, and for a split second, time seemed to move in slow motion. Banduk could see his opponent bent forward, trying his best to defend against the series of body blows. Banduk's left fist was sailing straight up, slicing through the air on its way to the Icer's face. And then, the punch connected...
*tap*
Banduk's fist rested against Frigid's forehead, carrying absolutely no strength with it. "... No..." Banduk gasped. He was too late. The finishing blow lost all of its power before connecting, resulting in a limp fist pressed against the Icejin's face. Purple blood trickled from his hand onto Frigid, mixing with the Icer's own blood that leaked from his mouth. The two were at a standstill. Banduk couldn't move a muscle, feeling every injury he'd sustained so far, all affecting him at once. His left leg was bruised from the grenade he'd taken to it earlier, and his left fist felt the sharp cut along the back of its knuckles from when he punches Frigid's chin. The Namekian's arms felt the worst of it, bleeding and burned from the Death Wave. Banduk began panting irregularly, gasping from the soreness he felt in every muscles and tendon he had. This pain... Was unbearable.
Banduk was helpless.

This was it. Though only in the semi-finals, this was a fight that would be talked about for centuries. With every punch, kick or blast, the crowd cheered louder. With each step, jump or moment of flight, the battle grew to it's climax. And as Frigid's Death Wave connected hard with Banduk, he might have thought it was over.
But then the dust cleared, revealing a Namekian, standing in the dust. He would rush Frigid again, his hits hard and fast. No matter what Frigid threw, this Namek somehow seemed to recover. And though there was visible damage, it was far from effecting him. He would send a kick to Frigid's arm. Luckly, the Icejin had put most of his power into the Death Wave, leaving him limp.
As the foot connected, Frigid's arm flew into the air, sharp pain rushing through it. This would only be followed by a barrage of punches. Even with an Icejin's heavily armored skin, these kids were hard, causing instant bruising to each connection. Frigid's body growing fatigued, but still mobile. As the next move the Namekian threw was a knee to the face, Frigid would sidestep, just in the slightest, the knee barely avoided. In a split second it was followed by an uppercut, which would connect hard with Frigid's right ribs, a loud and violent snap echoing through the stadium.
In a fury, another uppercut would be thrown, this time connecting with the Icejin's tail as it wrapped tightly around Frigid's body. And the barrage would be followed by a punch. Straight at Frigid's face. This punch would connect, but no force would be felt. It seemed the Namek would have exhausted himself.
A sly grin would cross Frigid's face as he could see Banduk helpless for any following attacks. The Icejin's foot would slide forward, ready for him to take a step. But this would only make him realize the true extent of his damage. A small chuckle escaped his mouth as he fell forward, taking the Namekain with him. He too, was drained. The Namekian had done a fair share of damage, but his energy had been mostly exhausted in his final Death Wave. He would hit the ground hard, the Namekian would probably break his fall. His breath would be heavy, but he would not be knocked out. With a small laugh, he would whisper in Banduk's ear, "You are a warrior..."
Thoughts of his encounter with the royal guards would fill his mind. He'd taken such beatings before. Perhaps his skin was just a little thicker, or perhaps his will was a little stronger. There was no way he could call this fight finished. Even in near death, he wouldn't give up. Kurosanai had shown the same drive. This couldn't be the end...

Based on what the staff is reading we feel that Banduk is not going to be able to come back and win the fight and as such we are naming Frigid the winner. The difference in pl is mainly due to Banduk elaborating more in his posts than Frigid did. Good job guys you earned every pl you got.

The green Warrior from Namek could only shudder when he noticed Frigid's lead foot sliding forward in preparation for an attack that would surely take full advantage of Banduk's stunned state. At that moment, Banduk did what he was trained not to do from day one of his training: He closed his eyes, cowering his face away from his opponent out of fear alone. He was always told never to let fear take control of his body, facing attacks with calmness and resolve in order to act as efficiently as possible. Right now, however, there was quite literally nothing he could do but hide the front of his head, turning it a little as he tucked his chin against his chest. He waited for the strike to hit, but something else happened instead.
Banduk's body was greeted with the full weight of an exhausted Icejin. Frigid toppled over, collapsing on top of the green-skinned competitor. "Wha..." he panted heavily, cringing as he his back hit the ground. Even having the mundane mass of another averagely-sized being set on top of him was like being crushed with a thousand pounds of pressure. Gundu gritted his teeth and gasped under his breath, soon returning to his erratic panting. He heard Frigid's words, but refused to acknowledge them... Not yet, at least. He shifted his body around a little, hoping to shake off some of the pain simply by getting his muscles used to moving again. No such luck.
Banduk realized the only way to escape this predicament was to do it all at once, like ripping off a dirty band-aid. He took a deep breath and let out a yell, forcing Frigid aside just enough to let him roll out from underneath his skilled opponent. "Ngh... Damn..." he grunted, now on his hands and knees, not even possessing sufficient willpower to turn his head and look at Frigid. His sole objective was to stand up, that's all. Just stand up...
"... Ngyaaahhh!" Banduk roared, a pitiful excuse of an aura swelling up around him. The simple act of getting to his feet required him to gather Ki, powering up his aching limbs in order for him to push his heavy body off the ground. At first, he succeeded, managing to get on foot planted on the floor. With his right leg and both arms, he heaved himself upward, hoping to balance himself on both legs. As soon as his left leg had to do some work, however, he shook and fell back to one knee. His leg was damaged badly from the explosion it received before, and using the muscles so intensely despite the damage was extremely detrimental. This was the true weakness of the Fierce Body. Pain is a feeling your body uses to warn the brain of any risk. A dangerous situation, or damage to the body, for instance. Without pain, Banduk was able to push through the damage, tearing several of his muscles in the process. He was now left on one knee, panting and glancing over at Frigid.
