After being shoved off the Namekian, Frigid had some time to breath. Laying on his back, his chest would expand heavily, holding in the air for a few seconds before exhaling. Needing a few minutes to recompose himself, he would take this time to rethink. Banduk struggled to stand next to him, but this did not move the Icejin. Taking another breath, he'd let out a small, barely audible chuckle.
This wasn't just physical exhaustion that Frigid was facing. This was as mental. It seemed like no matter what the Icejin throw, the Namekian would counter. Upon transforming, the Namekian increased his power. Then to top that all off, he'd beaten Frigid with an intense drive that seemed to come from nowhere. Even now, as Frigid laid still, the Namekian wouldn't give up his attempt to stand. As Frigid's head turned to watch his take a knee and glare, something was awakened.
This tournament was more than just a test of strength. Oh no. You didn't have to be the strongest to win. You simply had to be driven. And as a warmness welled over the Icejin, his body whipped to the left, turning him onto his stomach.
Nails digging hard into the marble flooring, he would slowly raise himself to his knees. Though strenuous, Frigid was able to reach his feet much quicker than the Namekian had. With wobbly knees, Frigid made an attempt to steady himself, facing Banduk.
A smirk crossed his face as he finally got a real look at the shape of things. Banduk's leg was in bad shape, and there was pain in his face. Perhaps he was not all he seemed to be. In fact, Frigid's first instinct before falling over might have been right. Maybe the Namek had overexerted himself. Perhaps stamina would pay the victor today.
Taking a step forward, Frigid would nearly fall, having to anchor himself with his tail. An orange arm would raise, wiping blood from his face, "Shall we continue for all these people?" he asked, referring to the crowd who would roar for both of them.
Though Frigid could have ended it all there, he was not the kind of guy to kick a man while down. Raising a hand, he would offer it to Banduk, and pull him to his feet if he wanted. He would then take a few steps back, and ready his wobbly self to continue. Be that as it may, this was no trap. Banduk had earned Frigid's respect.

Things weren't looking good for the Namekian student. When he glanced over at his Icejin opponent, the fighter of white and orange was already managing to stand up. Their levels of damage were similar, but Banduk's technique led to a much more intense physical exhaustion, not to mention the shock he felt once all the pain hit him at once. It was by no means gradual, the burning in his muscles hit him like a load of bricks. His mind was becoming a bit clearer after getting over that shock, giving him some time to think while Frigid got up.
With the help of his tail, the Icer managed to stand and take a step forward, now looking down on Banduk, who was still breathing hard in order to regain enough strength to stand as well. An idea came to the green Warrior's mind, but it was risky... He was out of options as well as power went, and the only plan of action that seemed logical was to somehow get rid of this intense pain. He had yet to master his healing techniques, so that wasn't a possibility. There was only one way to cure his injuries...
Frigid suddenly extended an arm down to Banduk, offering to help him up. Banduk's brows furrowed, almost feeling annoyed that Frigid would do such a thing. This was a fight that Banduk had nearly lost, and his opponent had no reason to show mercy unless... Did he honestly want a fair fight? While Banduk would prefer to have things settled fair and square, he knew he had no choice but to swallow his pride for now. It was difficult, but he eventually lifted his own arm to meet Frigid's, rising up to his feet slowly.
Banduk's left leg felt like it would give out any second. Most of his weight was on his back leg, which was still shaking from the soreness. Frigid looked ready to continue this fight, but Banduk still had his plan in mind, the plan to remove his pain. It would shorten the fight dramatically, and likely determine his already slim chances at winning. Still, he had to take the risk in order to prove his worth to his people. "I can't give up... Not with my planet watching..." he thought to himself, knowing that he still had a chance as long as he could throw a punch. And so, Banduk took a deep breath before assuming a shaky fighting stance, tucking his sore arms close to his chest. For his plan to work, he needed Ki... That blade-like tail of Frigid's would be perfect. He just had to entice the Icer to use it.
Banduk pushed off of his back leg, hovering his way over to Frigid and throwing a series of small jabs, none of which carried much force. He had to fly just a few inches off the ground in order to remain upright, but his upper body was still functioning decently. He remained alert, hoping his opponent would have some sort of energy-based attack up his sleeve...

Though at first it looked like Banduk would would shoot down Frigid's offer to help him to his feet, he eventually grabbed hold of the Icejin's hand and rose to his feet. A light smile appeared on Frigid's face and he nodded to the Namekian. There fight was not over. Not just yet.
Frigid stepped backwards, not turning his back to his opponent as he put some space between them. As he entered his stance, Banduk made a move, running, or rather floating, forward and throwing a barrage of weaker punches. Frigid's body moved more swiftly than his opponent, but that was not to say he wasn't sluggish. As his hands shot up, blocking the blunt of the punches, his tail shot from his left side.
Aimed towards the Namekian's solar plexus, the tail would connect with a force much harder than a regular punch from the Icejin. The tail-punch would be followed by a hard knee aimed to the right ribs of the Namek. If this attack hit, it would be followed up by one more attack. Connecting his hands above his head he would smash them down hard on the Namekian's upper back.
Though both fighters were injured in much of the same ways, Banduk was even more exhausted than the Icejin. Frigid hoped to be able to use that to his advantage while he could. Perhaps this Namekian had more up his sleeve than he would let on. If that were the case, Frigid would have to take him down before he would have the chance to do just that.

Banduk's punches were mostly futile in their attempt to damage Frigid, but that was to be expected. Banduk wasn't putting his all into these attack. He only hoped to stall the Icejin and cool down his aching body while catching his breath. His time would come soon, he had to find an opportunity to turn the tables. He knew his exhaustion was almost done running its course, he just had to survive until then. It seemed to be going well for a while. Frigid was reacting to the punches without much trouble, but the Icer was definitely feeling the effects of this fight. While Banduk was at a clear disadvantage, Frigid himself was far from full power. Banduk just hoped he had enough in him to take advantage of that... Finally, the Icejin returned fire. Banduk was focused enough to move his arms down and defend himself against the tail strike to his solar plexus, but not without a sharp pain shooting through his forearms. Even defending against attacks had its price, now. The knee attack followed, aimed at Banduk's ribs. The Namekian moved a single damaged arm to the side, cushioning the blow somewhat. The pain was even more severe, and the block was much less effective than it was against the tail strike. One of Banduk's ribs cracked painfully, unable to withstand the assault. Then, Frigid's final attack drove down onto Banduk's back. There was no defending against this one. Banduk fell to the ground once more, yelling out in pain. Banduk could barely move. His rib was now broken, and his upper back was suffering from a nasty bruise. His mind was fading in and out of consciousness, his vision blurry and distorted as he looked to the side. Don't get up, your body can't handle this. The voice of reason echoed through his brain, begging him to just lay down and accept defeat. After several seconds of struggling... He complied, admitting that his body was just about done for. There was nothing else he could do. The audience cheered and yelled, all commemorating Frigid's victory and the fight Banduk had put up. Everyone was yelling... Except for one person. A certain Namekian child, his face worried and desperate. That same young boy from Banduk's village who had such faith in the Namekian Guardian-in-Training. "... What the hell am I doing..."www.youtube.com/watch?v=C22wuO2z4wUBanduk couldn't give up now, there was no way he could forgive himself if he gave up when his body was still able to move. "My hand... I can make a fist..." he thought, clenching his fingers into a tight sphere. "My lungs are still pumping air... And my neck is capable of looking up at my target..." his mind raced as his head slowly turned upward to look at Frigid. "As long as I can move... I can fight...!" he yelled inwardly, shakily hoisting himself onto his hands and knees. "... And on my honor as a Namekian Warrior... I WILL fight!!"A weak, silver aura began rising from Banduk's body as his willpower slowly returned to him. The Fierce Body always caused a period of exhaustion for the user, but that period was almost over. His level of strength remained the same, but his mind was able to draw the last bit of strength from the deepest parts of his being. Strength that is normally inaccessible during normal combat. This was the strength necessary to survive. Banduk rose to his feet, panting hard as he held up a weak left hand. With that hand, he grabbed his right upper arm and growled. His next move created a gasp in the crowd. He tore his arm off, gritting his teeth. The pain would have caused him to go into shock a few moments ago, but with this newly-found strength, he was able to bear it. After a few seconds, his right arm grew back, dripping with purple blood. This arm was fresh, consisting of new muscles and skin that were free from pain. The muscles were weak, of course, but able to reach their full potential thanks to the lack of damage. With his new right arm, he reached over and yanked off the left, replacing it as well. He now had two fully-functioning arms, and the Fierce Body's downside was almost gone. If he could survive against Frigid for just a few more seconds, he knew he would have the strength to continue this fight properly. (( Turn 3 of 3 for exhaustion. Let's finish this. ))

As his hits connected with Banduk they each did a nice amount of damage. Banduk seemed to be growing weaker and weaker with each of Frigid's attacks. And as he was slammed into the ground, it looked like Frigid might have finally beaten the Namekian. A smile crossed his face as he watched the Namek breath, wondering what he was thinking. Perhaps he was plotting, or maybe he was admitting defeat. Though the Icejin couldn't tell exactly what it was, he knew the fight was nearly over. Banduk's eyes shot to the stands, and Frigid jumped backwards, putting distance between the two in case the green warrior might attack.
But that was not the case. His hands made tight fists, and his eyes met Frigid's. His stare was one of pride. Of determination. Banduk was not beaten yet. Slowly, the Namek rose to his hands and knees. A dim silver aura formed around him, and he slowly rose to his feet. The look on his face would be enough to break a man; but Frigid was no normal man.
His breath was heavy as he rose a left hand, his right hand grabbing it tightly. A heavy growl formed at his throat, and what happened next caused the crowd to gasp. As close as the Icejin was, he got much more of the full effect. He could hear the flesh tearing, the ligaments and tendons ripping, the muscles being torn apart, then, finally the bones popping. Then, in an explosion of purple blood, the arm had been severed. The young Namekian had just ripped off his own arms. Though amazed and disgusted by this, the Icejin stood firm and ready.
In just a few seconds, a green arm replaced the one that Banduk had severed, this one undamaged and working with more ease than his last. It seemed that there was method to his madness. Perhaps aside from a show, this was a plea. His last resort. And as the new arm grabbed the other, severing it, the Namekian soon stood in front of Frigid with two fully-functioning arms. A grin rippled through Frigid's lips as he let out a light chuckle. Banduk was smart.
Frigid still had the advantage. Banduk was recovering from his fatigue, but his strength was slight. If Frigid stayed on his toes, he could at least out-last this green foe. Drawing his right arm back, Frigid poured his golden ki into it. The limb slowly glowed, the ki beginning to cycle around it. Charging up the attack, Frigid took a step towards his opponent. Then another. Then a third. His left foot anchored hard into the floor, black claws digging in hard. Putting all his weight into his next step, he would throw his fist forward, unleashing a powerful wave of ki directly towards Banduk.

(( Herpderp, college and all that. ))
This was it. Banduk had one last burst left in him, one last moment to shine. Quite literally, it was now or never. He would proceed to the next round, or he would leave this arena defeated. It would all be decided by what happened during the next few seconds. Even with Gundu's Namekian ears, he couldn't hear Frigid's chuckling. The green Warrior's body was in disarray, unable to properly utilize any senses. His sight faltered, and he could barely feel his legs, which were wobbling out of control. Banduk had to expand a small amount of Ki simply by using Bukujutsu to relieve some of the strain his body inflicted to his feet. Banduk watched as Frigid reared a hand back and began collecting what looked to be the last of his body's energy... Though as the Namekian was well aware, looks were certainly deceiving, especially in this fight.
Banduk had to react perfectly. He had to see the next attack coming and read an opening properly. Otherwise, he would fail completely. Now or never. He slid a foot back and began narrowing his options, watching as the Icejin took a step forward. Would Banduk step to the side and counter? No, his legs were too unresponsive to be so agile... A second step; Frigid's other foot landed closer to Banduk, marking the time for the Icer to wind up the punch he intended to throw toward the Namekian, a punch that was loaded with destructive energy. Banduk wondered if he would be able to take on the attack with brute force alone, but that choice was immediately thrown out, as there was no way Banduk could muster up enough power to make any kind of struggle against Frigid's own wave.
Finally, the Icejin took his final step, pushing every ounce of his own momentum into the attack as the tile beneath him cracked. The creature's foot was planted firmly into the ground as the attack was thrown, a powerful blast of energy heading toward Banduk. The Namekian grit his teeth, knowing that he had to make a decision right then and there. His mind was lagging - it couldn't race through a number of options like it could have at the beginning of the fight, and the Guardian-in-Training was out of time. He was hoping it wouldn't have to come to this, but there was only one piece of training left that would benefit him in the fight. An old saying that was repeated to trainees in the Warrior clan that was meant to develop a certain mental state inside them - a state of emptiness and purity, leaving no room for distraction. "Don't think, feel."
Banduk let out a breath, closing his eyes as the world around him seemed to slow down. Years of practice in meditation prepared him for times like this, where he was required to drown out all of the outside world. There was Banduk and Frigid, separated by a golden orb of intense energy. The only thing standing in his way...
Banduk let out a mighty roar, gripping his hand into a tight fist as he shot forward with an explosive burst of Bukujutsu, pushing forward with his left shoulder. The moment his shoulder made contact with Frigid's attack, the Namekian planted both feet into the ground in a similar fashion to his opponent. There was no cunning to this attack, no complicated strategy, and no fancy footwork. There was only guts. Banduk braved the impact of Frigid's Ki blast, deflecting as much of the damage as possible away from his torso. It was excruciatingly painful, once again rendering Banduk's left arm useless from the clavicle down. He had one good limb left, and he intended to use it to its fullest extent.
"HraaaaaaaaaaggggghhhhhHHHHHH!!" Banduk bellowed ferociously as the blast dissipated, leaving an empty space between the Namekian and his foe. Time once again seemed to slow down as Banduk's focus shifted fully onto Frigid's eyes. There was a split second between them that seemed to last an eternity, a clash of two warriors' spirits. Then, it all ended as Banduk sprung forward and threw every ounce of his willpower into his right hand, which flew at max speed toward Fridid's face. The hopes and dreams of Banduk... No, the desires of all of Namek were riding on that fist. A fist weighed down by the cheers of an entire race, Banduk's hand collided with Frigid at full power. Banduk let out a gasp as the punch landed, creating an invisible wave of force that shattered the surrounding floor of the arena. His arm creaked under the pressure, bones splintering and muscles tearing as the momentum carried through, all of it focusing on its target.
Then, as abruptly as the punch was thrown, it was over. Banduk's eyes glazing over as his body went numb. The last thing he saw was Frigid's face, though Banduk was unable to make out what happened. Unfortunately, there was nothing else Banduk could even hope to achieve. His body careened downward, slamming into the ground like a rag doll. His body was out of energy entirely, his consciousness relentlessly torn away. The Namekian Warrior was limp on the ground, defeated. It was over.

Frigid watched as his blast traveled towards the Namekain for what seemed like forever. The attack would be a powerful one, that was for sure, but there was still a level of unsureness deep inside Frigid's mind. As if the universe was telling him to dispel his previous thoughts about the fight ending so quickly by slowing down. Though his attack grew nearer and nearer to Banduk, if felt as though it would never hit; however the illusion was shattered by a powerful roar.
As if he had recovered completely, Frigid watched the Namekian charge the wave, his left shoulder connecting hard. His ki exploded on impact, in a violent fight against Banduks. It was a display of fireworks as his feet anchored to the ground, his arm becoming useless. A trust testament of the young man's heart. He was a warrior unlike any that Frigid had ever met, that was for sure. Taking a step back, Frigid's eyes widened as he watched his own attack dissipate, the Namekian warrior still standing tall.
There was space between the two, for all Frigid knew it could have been miles, but it was as if they stood face-to-face, Banduk staring into the Icejin's eyes. For what seemed like a second eternity, Frigid felt as if the fight had transitioned from a physical one to a much more mental state. A battle of willpowers. The intensity of his stare burning itself into the Icejin's mind. He had enough left to attack, and it would carry more than just raw power.
Anchoring his tail into the ground, feet apart, Frigid took a much different stance than he'd used through his fights. This one was completely defensive. And as the Namekian thrusted all he had left into a punch with his right hand, Frigid knew what was coming. At both full power and speed, the fist would connect hard with his face, causing his body to whip hard to the left. Blood exploded outwards, both from Frigid and Banduk, the Namekian's arm shattering, Frigid's teeth breaking.
Frigid, jaw broken, teeth and blood pooling under his feet, would watch the Namekian hit the floor, unconscious. All he needed to do to win was stay awake. Amazingly the Icejin had stayed on his feet, but not without feeling the full effect. His right leg was broken, his ribs shattered. His jaw and teeth barely in working condition. Putting all his weight on his tail, he would keep himself upright, but there was no walking off the arena. Putting all his remaining energy into his tail, he stood, staring at the Namekian. There was something deep inside this boy that Frigid had to respect. Though the Icejin would advance to the next round, this simply proved that unless he was willing to put everything into the fight, he would fail. Frigid would fight in the finals not for himself, but for Banduk and all the others he'd beaten in the tournament. For each opponent he fought that gave it their all. And he would win.
