Having won the semi-finals, Conri was out celebrating at one of the local bars over his latest triumph. Not that he was going crazy with his fame or anything, but he did buy a round for the whole bar. Sitting at the bar itself on his own, he was enjoying his own drink which was something pretty strong. He had no idea what it was really, he just wanted the strongest drink and they gave it to him. Whatever it was though, it was really hitting the spot for him, as he let out a content sigh.
Looking around the bar, it seemed to be pretty packed with people, most of whom seemed to be the natural inhabitant. Whether it be criminal or what have you, a shame really, as it seemed they had no class when it came to treating the servers. With a quiet snap of his fingers, a few of them would suddenly shake like they'd been electrocuted, though it wasn't enough to do serious harm. It was simply something to make them think twice about their actions, and no one would be the wiser.
At least, not anyone of them, if someone had been paying attention they would have seen the connection of his snapping and the jolt. Whether there was someone in the bar aware enough to pick up on that, he couldn't really say. Taking a swig of his drink, he leaned back in his seat at the bar, closing his eyes to enjoy the environment of the bar. Not many would feel comfortable here, but it was a familiar atmosphere for the Half-Saiyan, it was hard to not find comfort.

Azazel was walking around the streets of Alpha Prime, Alexandria was holding onto her hand. Azazel entered one of the local bars, she had never been in one before and thought it could provide entertainment. She didn’t know if it was going to be a good idea to bring Alexandria along with her, but right now she didn’t really much care. Walking through the front door she noticed the large group of people that was inside the establishment. Making her way up to the counter she luckily finds two empty seats next to each other. Before she could get to both of them one was taken, quickly she sat down in the empty one placing the child on her lap.
She person behind the counter gave her a weird look that she brought in a child. The person asked what she would like to drink, Azazel just asked for water. Azazel began to look around the bar trying to see if she would recognize anyone. Just as she thought she didn’t recognize anyone there, all of these people were complete strangers to her. She could hear Alexandria tapping on the counter top, no doubt the child was bored. Azazel needed to take a break from walking around, why she choose this place was beyond her.
”Hey Azazel look over there that man has blue hair? Why does he have blue hair?”
Looking over at the man ”I have no idea why his hair is blue Alexandria, probably because that is the color it has always been. I am sure he has a reason for his hair being blue, but he looks like he is relaxing. So I am asking you not to bother that man, got it?”
Alexandria just looked back at Azazel and smiled. Azazel didn’t realize it at first, but very quickly all the pieces began to fall into place. Trying to cover up Alexandria’s mouth, but she wasn’t fast enough. Before she could stop the child was screaming at the man asking why his hair was blue. Azazel just leaned back in her chair wishing she was in a different place at the current moment.

As much as Celeh hated going to the bars around here, she had been frequenting them during her stay for the tournament simply because living in a low class residential area in her home city tended to have very few options when it came to non-combat related entertainment. As much as she loved a good fight, she couldn't fight forever, and so down time was needed. Grabbing a drink with a good comrade or a strong rival was always a good way to take the edge off of most situations. And so the soldier found herself in the bar once again, sipping a mug of mead. She never was a heavy alcohol drinker, though the extra zing of the stuff around here told her it was brewed with an extra kick in mind and it was likely a fair bit stronger than most of the stuff she'd had before.
Celeh had been sitting at the far end of the bar, and when Conri sent a small jolt through the rude patrons, Celeh felt a weak tinge of the electricity that traveled through the metal underneath the counter. One of the patrons had their leg leaned against it and she did as well. She noticed the slight flux of energy nearby, but she wasn't paying enough attention to pinpoint who was responsible. She just growled under her breath and took another drink from her mug. She was directly working for the Saiyan Royals, and it would reflect badly on them if their newest 'retainer' got into a heap of trouble here. Not that she thought it would matter if she got into a bar fight here, but anyone who knew she worked for them might try to use it against them and get something out of it if she caused problems or stirred up trouble. And so she just tried to ignore the minor jolt and continued drinking her mead.
And then someone started shouting at someone else asking questions about blue hair and why. She just shook her head and sighed. Apparently she picked a really crappy time to come to this bar.

Most things that happened in bars tended to not surprise Conri much, but a child coming up to him in a bar had caught him off-guard. Smirking slightly, he lifted the child up to have a seat next to him, amused that she came up to him. "Well, first things first. You shouldn't approach random people even if they have cool hair like me, they may not be the friendliest," he figured it would be better to just get that set right away. He could have been a serial killer for all this little girl knew, and she had just come up to him on her own. Not the safest of ideas, but he had to admire her curiosity.
"As for my hair, all I can say is genetics. I'm Half-Saiyan, so somehow the Human and Saiyan genes made my hair blue," it was the only explanation he had. Maybe it was something in the Saiyan genes he inherited or the Human ones. Shrugging slightly he looked down to the little girl, "By the way, you should stick close to your mom or parent, whoever brought you in here. Lot of unfriendly people in this place." Plus, it would be good for the girl to be with whoever had brought her here to make sure she didn't get lost.
Looking around he spotted the new arrival to the bar, assuming her to be the girl's mother, who he was sure had been in the tournament. Motioning to the bartender to send a drink her way, and motioning with his head for the girl to head back. He didn't want to be accused of anything, after all, that would just be a pain to deal with right now. However, as he turned around the bar, he noticed one of the other contestant from the tournament and decided to order her a round as well.
He wasn't quite sure which fights they were in or anything like that, but he felt it was a good way to build up something of a nice gesture towards them. He wasn't expecting them to jump at the opportunity to be friends now or anything, but buying a drink was a good way to break the ice. The waitresses would serve the drinks to the two women and motion towards the man that had bought it.

Before Azazel could get control over the situation, Alexandria had hopped down from her lap making her way over to the blue haired man. Azazel didn’t know what to do, she wanted to yell at Alexandria, but this place didn’t look like the right place to do that. She watched as Alexandria made her way over to him, the child had no idea what she was doing or why she was doing it. All she wanted to know was why his hair was different from others that she has seen. The man lifted Alexandria, placing her in the chair next to him. HE began to speak to her, but Azazel couldn’t hear what he was saying. She was just happy that he was being nice to her, she didn’t want to cause any trouble.
When the bartender asked Azazel if she wanted anything to drink, Azazel responded with asking a question of her own. She was curious to see who that blue haired man was. She recognized his face, but couldn’t put a name to it. The barman told her his name was Conri Lane, and at that moment everything came together. This was one fo the people that she heard about that was still in the tournament. If she was remembering correctly he had just won his semi final match and was in the championship match. Azazel decided to wait a few minutes before going over to talk to Alexandria and Conri. It seemed like Alexandria was having a decent time, so she wasn’t going to drag her away from him.
Making her way over to Alexandria “”Well it seems that you have made a friend here, I am sure you got the answer to your question. Next time you better think before you decide to walk up to some stranger in a place like this. I am sorry if she bothered you from what ever it was you were doing.”
”All I wanted to know was why his hair was blue, apparently it has something to do with genetics. So I guess I got the answer to my question, come on Azazel sit down.”
All Alexandria could do was smile, the child still had no idea what could have happened leaving Azazel’s side. This was definitely not the time or place to scold her about her mistake. She was going to let her have some fun, but make sure to tell her later.
”Hope this isn’t being rude but aren’t you Conri Lane one of the two combatants in the championship match? If so then congratulations on your recent victory.”

As the minor commotion continued the soldier finally glanced over to see just who was involved and what it was about. Her eyebrows shifted and raised a bit as she saw a child talking to a blue haired man. She chuckled lightly, not really meaning anything by it other than trying to lighten her own mood. She'd gotten mildly annoyed about a child fussing over some man's blue hair. She felt a little foolish. Still, she overheard the other part of the conversation as the person apparently with the child asked if the blue haired man was Conri Lane, one of the fighters in the tournament and one of two that remained for the final match. That really caught Celeh's attention and she stood up, taking her drink with her as she approached.
She stopped a few feet from the man and glanced over at the others who were chatting with him, giving a nod as she acknowledged them, and then glancing at Conri himself. "I'm disappointed we never got to fight, but I'd imagine you'd have won given how far you've come. I'm looking forward to that final match. I want to see just what the best has to offer. Don't go letting me down, alright?" She said with a sly smirk. "I was a fighter in the tournament, too, but I didn't make it passed the second round. Your opponent defeated the one who defeated me, so I should probably root for him, but I've never been the type to pick sides in fights that aren't my own." Maybe it was just that she was in an odd mood or maybe it was the drink, but Celeh was feeling more vocal tonight than usual, and so she was more than happy to have a chat with one of the fighters for the final round. It helped to get their thoughts on things so she could see just what their motives were, though she hadn't really given him any questions just yet. So far she was just introducing herself and letting him know that she did, at least vaguely, recognize who he was. It didn't don on her that he might have been the one to shoot a jolt through her while she was drinking.
She also decided not to comment on the fact that a kid was in a bar, at least for now. That aside the thoughts about Conri's comment of being half saiyan rang out in her head. So the Princess wasn't the only one? That shouldn't surprise her, and yet she hadn't ever thought about it enough to know for sure. Still, it put a small smile on her face to know that saiyan blood was not required to reach that level of strength. In fact, full blooded saiyans seemed to be lacking in the tournaments upper echelons of power for the most part. THAT did annoy her, but it was too late to change that anyhow.

This little girl was something else, that she would just walk up to him without realizing the danger in approaching a stranger, but that was amusing as well. There were people that could learn a lot from this little girl, such as to not be afraid of everyone, still she was just lucky he was a nice guy. If it had been one of those other guys he was sure there would have been trouble, and then he would have had to start a bar fight because people were picking on a kid. It was a winding spiral of disaster with that thought, and he shook it from his mind before returning his attention to what was at hand. Which was one of the women approaching him and asking if he was...well, if he was himself.
"I am indeed, and thank you. It wasn't an easy fight to get to the final match," he chuckled. It was the reason he was celebrating, it was hard fought and hard won, so he believed he deserved a little bit of a celebration. Hell, he still had a couple of bruises on his body, they were going to take a while to heal up and the medical people were upset that he left so early. They had wanted to make sure everything was fixed up for him before he left, but he had run out without letting them, sometimes he enjoyed having reminders of battles he had fought in. It wasn't long before the other woman had approached and began to speak to him as well, though she seemed to have a different way of doing it. A chuckle escaped the half-saiyan as she spoke about not picking a side unless it was in one of her own fights.
"Well, I suppose that's good for me that I won't have an extra person cheering against me. Although, I don't mind, he fought his way up to the finals as well, I can't imagine he has no fans or those that want their goals to be accomplished through him," that was generally the way he saw it anyways. The victor, whether they knew it or not, had obtained the extra goals of those they had defeated and carried them with through each victory. That was just his own thought on the matter, however. "The only thing I say to others is to follow your own path, wherever it takes you. That's why if I win, I'll use the tournament as a jumping board to my ultimate goal," he spoke, the drinks having loosened his tongue quite a bit.
"Ya know, looking at the situation, minus the little one there. I'd say I'm in a rather exciting spot right now," he laughed, a little tipsy. It meant that the filter between his brain and mouth had been shutdown, it could either work in favor for him or severely against him.

Azazel would not speak as the Saiyan woman approached, the tail she had making it quite obvious as to what she was, Azazel giving her a slight nod as she approaches. The Makaio was pretty sure this woman had been in the tournament as well… Celeh was it? That was the name for she was a little easier to remember since there had only been two female Saiyans in the tournament. One of those had been Akassa Hattori, that one was recognizable by the red coloring in her hair. This one on the other hand was a bit thin for a Saiyan, at least a bit leaner than most. Still it did not mean she lacked power if she had made it past the preliminaries in the tournament. Apparently she had lost though, just like Azazel and everyone else had, but the two that remained.
Turning back to one of the two that did remain in the tournament she smiles a little, reaching down to grab Alexandria’s shoulder gently. It was not to keep the little girl in line at all, but just to make sure that all knew she was under the protection of the Makaio, this wasn’t the safest of places after all.
”Is this how you prepare for every fight? I am not trying to judge you it just seems that most do not spend the night in such a place before fighting, the few I have come to know at least. Of course, I do see why you might be her warrioress, many need to relax after having been eliminated. I did the same, just not with alcohol of course, it doesn’t really have much of an effect on me.”
Azazel was just trying to be straightforward, as she meant no insult to either of them. Her honesty was something she always attempted to keep unless the situation required she lie or mislead for her or someone else’s safety. Looking to the Saiyan soldier the woman’s cheeks appeared to be a little flush, perhaps that was the reason behind her talkativeness, most Saiyans not ones to speak so freely…at least that is what she had been told.

The soldier didn't quite catch what Conri meant by that last statement so she just ignored it in favor of keeping things from stirring up trouble. He had a point about the Ice-jin, though. Despite the tense history the Saiyans and Ice-jins shared, the soldier couldn't help but feel that a small portion of her hopes for winning were carried by Conri's opponent. Those hopes of victory and the fighting spirit passed from herself to Banduk and then to the Ice-jin when he defeated Banduk. She decided to shove that thought aside, though, as it was a frustrating one to her. She did still hold some of her saiyan pride and the idea of her hopes being carried in any fashion by one of them was unsavory at best.
She turned to the woman, however, and gave the best reply she could manage given their situation. "The good drink isn't for relaxing about the tournament. Usually I only drink when I celebrate a big win on a mission or when I need to relax and relieve a bit of stress. Losing the tournament is bothersome, but it's not what's been on my mind a lot lately. At least, not since my first two matches in the tournament. I guess they made me think more...it's kind of annoying, really, but in a good way, I guess...since it's opened my mind a bit." She was rambling a lot, and the people present now probably wouldn't understand much of what she said, but if Akassa was around she might understand some of it. Seeing as the Princess was absent, however, Celeh's words would likely go misinterpreted or ignored.

Conri listened as both women spoke, he supposed he could see Azazel's point with the way he was preparing for the match, but it was better to be relaxed. If he spent his time stressing over how things would go, he would be too tense for the fight and likely to make huge mistakes that he normally might not if he was in a normal state of mind. This was his way of evening the scales within his mind as it were, allowing him to relax while he also prepared for the finals that were coming soon. His own form of yin/yang, but that was mostly for the fact he wasn't an entirely spiritual person and instead worked within his means for what he could.
Then the other Saiyan spoke up about what had happened while she was here, and he thought about the way she worded things. It sounded like, "Do you mean the your own world has been expanded by your experiences here?" It was what it sounded like anyways, he just wanted to make sure that he was right with his guess. The fact that he was a bit inebriated was not part of his concerns, nope, wasn't an issue that he could be hearing her completely wrong with what she said. Tapping his chin, he was trying to find the proper words to explain his own drinking, however it was a bit more difficult to do that since he figured there were different interconnecting reasons.
"Well, let's just say, this is actually helping me be prepared for the final round. Rather than waste my time with pointless anxiety that might happen, I can use this to relax and get a full night's sleep. The help that will give me will be better in the long run than anything else I can think of at the moment," training simply worse the body down. What he wanted was a rather different effect, wearing his mind down so that it wouldn't worry about anything and instead drift off into a nice peaceful sleep. (Sorry, forgot it was my turn u.u)

Azazel stood, listening to the female Saiyan speak, she didn’t understand what she was talking about. She wanted to ask, but chose not to. Azazel didn’t want to offend her by making her explain what she was saying. Looking down at Alexandria, making sure she was still sitting next to Conri. The small child looked up at her, giving her a huge smile. Alexandria was obviously oblivious to what was going on, she was just happy to be included for the moment. Azazel waited for the female Saiyan to finish speaking before looking back to Conri, waiting for him to answer her question. She was still confused as to his method of preparing for his next fight. It was very confusing to her, she has been told that one needs to train to get ready for a fight. Perhaps there are other methods and she hasn’t been told everything yet.
Conri spoke to the female Saiyan first asking something about if her world has expanded since arriving here. Maybe that is what she meant by what she said just prior. Azazel had no idea, but what Conri said made more sense than anything she was thinking in her mind. He then turned his attention to Azazel answering her little question.
"Well, let's just say, this is actually helping me be prepared for the final round. Rather than waste my time with pointless anxiety that might happen, I can use this to relax and get a full night's sleep. The help that will give me will be better in the long run than anything else I can think of at the moment,"
”Really? Huh I have been told something different, but that does seem to make sense. I will have to try your method next time I find myself in a situation I need to be prepared for. It may be better than what I have been doing previously.”
Noticing Alexandria start to get fidgety Azazel picks her up. Alexandria nuzzles her head into Azazel’s neck, slowly closing her eyes. It has been a rough couple of days for the two of them. Azazel has gotten somewhat used to things around here, but it appears that Alexandria still needs some time to adjust.
Whispering to Azazel ”Are you almost done talking to your friend? I would like to go home now if that’s alright Azazel.”
”We will be leaving soon; it would be rude to leave right in the middle of a conversation. If you want to go to sleep you can, I won’t leave you here. I promise that we will be leaving soon.”
Turning to the female Saiyan “I am sorry I didn’t do this when you first came over here, but my name is Azazel Moloch. I am sorry to ask but what exactly did you mean when you said the tournament opened your mind?”

The soldier nodded at Conri's question in response to her words, "More or less I guess you could say I've seen that the universe isn't as simple in its ways as the world that I'm used to. It's a bit more free and chaotic..." She glanced away and sips her drink, taking it easier on the beverage for now. She didn't want to get loopy. She just wanted to stay warm and relaxed for a while. She let the other two have a bit of chit chat for now, just listening and keeping one ear trained on what was happening in the bar. She didn't expect anything to break out in chaos while a child was present. She hoped the patrons had a little more respect for children than that, but then...even her own species had a knack for literally beating their combat prowess into their children...so a bunch of uncoordinated drunkards would probably be even more chaotic if things got out of hand. Mostly she was just keeping her guard up.
When the other woman turned to address her, Celeh nodded and gave a half smile, "I'm Celeh. It's a pleasure to meet you, Azazel Moloch." The soldier then paused as she contemplated how best to word her reply without giving herself away. "Well, let's just say that I've come to realize that my destiny is not a fixed point that I'm unable to change without a massive event changing things in my favor. It's more of...a goal that I have to build up to with my own hands. A silly realization for a grown woman and a soldier to have, but...I've had a difficult life." She took a big gulp of her drink and raised it as if to give a partial 'cheers' to that realization. "Why do you ask?"

Nodding to Celeh's words, he understood that quite well himself, especially recently that things were quite chaotic in the universe and that it wasn't an entirely bad thing for it. Sometimes people needed to have a bit of chaos introduced into their world to figure out what kind of person they were, "Well, that's good that you figured that out. If you ever need any help with anything feel free to ask, I'm willing to help out in any way that I can." He figured that everyone needed help once in a while, and that there wasn't anything wrong with asking someone else either. Then again, he probably was weird for having Saiyan blood but still having those beliefs as well. Most probably figured asking for help was a sign of weakness or something, he just hoped Celeh wouldn't take it as an insult.
Azazel mentioned trying his way of preparing for a stressful event to see how it worked for her, "Well the key is to not get drunk. Only drink enough to relax yourself to the point where you feel you can fall asleep easily." Which now that he thought about it was where he had currently reached with his own drinking, so he turned his glass upside down so that the bartender wouldn't keep filling it. It was time for him to get back since tomorrow was going to be an intense day for him and one that would go down in history for at least a little while.
"Well, I'd like to think that everyone in general is in charge of their own lives. They have a choice, destiny is an illusion that people to use to justify living a life they don't enjoy. As for me, I make my own path in the world and to prove it, I'm going to be letting loose in the final round. It's not a match that you'll want to miss," he smirked slightly. Though, his words were probably not the most tactful right now, but sometimes that was a good thing. Tact could only go so far, the raw and honest truth was sometimes needed to help further thoughts.
"You gonna come cheer me on, little one?" he looked towards Alexandria. He didn't expect an actual answer, but he figured that it couldn't hurt to include the young girl. Who knew, maybe he would make a fan out of her, a chuckle entering his mind at that.
