Namek
When traveling to Namek you might find that the once united race has been divided. One faction follows the old ways in which Namekian fusion is not seen as an acceptable path to strength. Most that follow these ways can be found in Guru Village, of course including the Guru himself as well as the Leader of the Healing Clan. The second faction you will find on the planet is the one that follows the new ways, inspired by the legendary warrior Piccolo. These Namekians believe that fusion is a proven way to gain strength and that the combination of two Namekians creates a stronger and improved being. By default those that follow the late Piccolo enjoy fighting more than their counterparts, but they are not openly violent. Piccolo City is a monument built to their hero and his ways, this settlement is the home of the Warrior Clan. It is still fabled that the Guru has the power to create Dragon Balls, but they have not been seen in centuries.
Earth
Earth…once a planet thought to be an easy target by various monsters from the stars has seen many centuries of peace. Thanks to Gohan humans have learned to control Ki in mass, and although they are not all warriors, they are not the weaklings they once were. The Fuhrer rules with compassion yet determination, ever vigilant in case a threat is to suddenly arrive on the blue planet. Relations with the Saiyans that now call the Moon home have also been well, the two races realizing that the two are better off if they strive to coexist. Much has changed, but there is one thing that has remained somewhat constant, the Guardian of Earth. Although the current leader is no push over himself the Guardian’s Lookout remains, but with a human at its helm. With Dende’s passing the Dragon Balls of Earth are no more, but thankfully they have not been needed in this time of peace.
Moon
With the destruction of Vegeta it was only a matter of time before the Saiyan race disappeared to the folds of time. This unfortunate fate for the race has been undone by Science. The scientist Benjin was able to gather enough DNA from the decedents of Vegeta and Goku to recreate the proud race. The Hattori family, the royal family, has ruled since their resurgence, always with a King at its head. Despite their normally violent nature their home on the Moon and proximity to a highly populated Earth has toned them done some compared to their ancestors. Striving to strengthen their race and restore it to what they once were, the King works tirelessly to do so, a promising future in store for his people. Those looking to master their abilities with blades might also be interested to know of the Dojo built within New Vegeta, its owner said to be unequaled with a sword.
Omega Collective
A hollowed out asteroid with a history surrounded in secrecy has become almost a planet in itself, the large station home to a plethora of different races. There are loose laws set into place on the station, but most consider them as mere suggested guidelines and it seems they are not to seriously enforced. Prometheus Zex, an intelligent alien with a powerful bodyguard, rules over Alpha Prime through sheer power and superior intellect. There is no true hierarchy set up on the alien station, strength and money are the major characteristics required to rule. Such money has allowed to Zex to set up an arena in which fighters enjoy pitting themselves against each other, countless bets being made on the outcomes of such fights.
The once powerful empire from Kold has moved, now calling Beta Minor its home. Just like Zex, Arctic rules the Icejin population through strength, the power he possess matched by few in the galaxy. Still he is not as ruthless as many might think, but simply because he looks to take advantage of the Omega Collective, not destroy it. The two factions have a shaky peace between them, but mainly because the two leaders find it beneficial to their goals at this current time. Unfortunately not all benefit from the money flowing through the Collective, more than a few finding themselves in the run down Gamma Slums, no doubt surviving day to day in an attempt to rise above such a pitiful existence.
