"It's not going to work..." Carla thought as she looked at Bear quickly and noticed he was still trying to charge his attack against Kemuri. Sadly, no one looked ready to continue the fight. Mahajenn was right next to Kemuri being forced to follow orders, Azazel was quickly grabbing Kami who was surrendered to them as a gift to stop their resistance, and Kemuri was using wishes left and right to proclaim his dominance over the entire Earth by making sure everyone was bound to look up to him in some form or fashion. It made Carla mad, but as she stood gripping the back of her head covered in her own blood she knew she could not continue fighting.
She staggered over to Azazel and asked, "Do you have a Senzu Bean? I had to eat mine on the way here." Yet before she could get her answer the woman had already told them to follow her to Kami's Lookout. Carla knew where it was but in her current state she could not fly much less walk or run to the place which was miles from where they were. Instead, she would stagger out of the castle into the nearest local hospital and take shelter there. The city was in chaos, but she was sure Kemuri, though an evil dictator, might do something to bring his own sense of 'order' to the place. She did not care.
All she wanted was rest and the doctors would help her get that by making their nurses grab her and bring her into their establishment. They operated on her there and would fortunately stop the bleeding on the back of her head, however, would say, "If that damage had been greater then this you would not be alive right now." Carla would rest here for a few days in the safety of the new "Central City" before heading out to the lookout at a later date.
