He spun around and brought Muramasa down on his opponent only to meet steel. The man pushed against Zeke's blade trying to overpower him but Zeke pushed back. His Overdrive was clearly enough to deal with the man... If he dropped his weights then it would be a massacre. Zeke shoved of the blade ant took another swing. The Assassin parried it and lunged with a stab. Zeke moved, pushing forward as the blade passed through the edge of his shirt. It left a small cut across his ribs but he shoved his shoulder into the man and slammed the but of his sword into the man's abdomen.
Menwhile, the man facing Twenty-One wasn't doing as good. His blasts were too slow and hers were getting by. He fired as fast as he culd but slowly felt his energy depleting. Then a bolt hit his thigh. He cursed, and another got by and tore through his shoulder. Then with his arm suddenly in pain, he let up on his blasts for a moment... he was overcome my bolts of energy, screaming out as he was torn to shreds in mid air. Twenty-One ceased fire. "Target eliminated. Scanning for new target... she said, turning around and spying Zeke on the rooftop.
The man had resumed attacking Zeke and knocked one of Zeke's attacks aside before he rushed him. He tackled Zeke and tried to drag him down, but Zeke threw him off. The man stumbled back and ducked a slash. Low to the ground, he swept Zeke's legs out from under him and he fell as the Assassin jumped up. He flipped his blade underhanded and moved in, bringing it down. Zeke rolled out of the way... right over the edge of the roof. Damnit, he thought, grabbing on to pull himself up fast, but the man rushed over and planted a foot into Zeke's face and knocked him off the roof. That's about the time Twenty-One seen the man standing alone.
"Target confirmed." she said, bolting in as the guns folded back up, and slammed a fist into the mans face and another into the side of his head as he turned away. There was more noise below in the lab as Jaxine smashed a man through a table. Another one rushed her from the side only to get smashed across the face with a sudden backhand. Jaxine did it without even looking at the guy, moving closer to the first one. He tried to get up, but her hand came down on the back of his neck and he was almost instantly thrown through a window and into a chamber. He jumped up. A training room? He redyed his spear as he watched Jaxine come closer. She stopped at the door though... then hit a button. The man's legs gave out as the rooms Gravity increased by over thirty times. She laughed, repeatedly hitting the increase button. The Gravity Chamber was still in need of at least two-thousand Zeni worth of repairs before it was safe...
Kazu walked out of the anyway, wiping a little speck of dirt off his cheekbone. There was no longer an enemy there with him, but nobody caught what had happened. Kazu was back to playing with whatever was under his sleeve when he seen Zeke jumping up. He then looked over to see the man on top of Akassa. He raised an eyebrow and walked up to Zeke. "Yo, so there's that one dude over there on top of your woman..."
Zeke looked at Kazu, about to clarify that she was just a friend when he clued in. Zeke seen the man choking Akassa out and suddenly he felt something give. The sound of glass cracking went through his mind. He pulled at the weight on his forearm ripping it free and did the same with the other. dropping them, they made a loud crunch as they hit the roadway and crushed right through it, still standing. The two on each leg detached from the backs of his legs and slid out from under his jeans legs as he came closer to the man step by step.
With enough force to crush a truck, Zeke would bring an open hand down to grab the man by the top of his head. There would be enough force for instant fracture, possibly before he would twist his whole body around to rip the man off of Akassa and arch him over himself to slam him into the rode adjacent to her. If he pulled that off, he would put out his arm and create a black spike before driving it into the man's chest. Then again. Then again and again and again... slowly a sadistic smile would crawl across his face with each stab, letting out an almost raging grunt with each one as well with little segments of laughter in between. It would soon be easy to loose count of how many times Zeke stabbed the guy...

Fighting raged on all throughout the bar and around it, Ezekiel’s various friends locked in combat with one or more of the robed figures. Sadly it seemed Akassa had run into one of the more powerful ones, at least in terms of raw strength. At the moment she was unaware that the tide was turning fully in her companion’s direction now, her fight the only one really going sour at the moment. With her foes large hand clamped over her throat Akassa could not breathe. His other large hand held her right arm to the ground, the lack of air limiting what sort of counter attack she could mount. Roughly gagging the Princess began to position her hand between her own body and the man above her, channeling Ki down the appendage so that she could activate her Ha-Ken. The gauntlet was a bit slow to form, the female forced to focus through the crushing grip on her windpipe and when it finally formed she ended up not even needing it.
Vision blurring slightly Akassa saw a hand grab the top of the man’s head, a pained groan coming from him as he was ripped right off of her. Up into the air back down into his back she heard the thud as he hit, the cracking of the pavement. Sucking in air she was still unsure of who it was that had actually pulled him off of her. Lying on her back for a moment to catch her breath she soon props herself up on her elbows, eyes widening as she saw Ezekiel crouched over the man. It wasn’t the fact he had come to her aid the surprised her, but that his hand repeatedly rose and fell into the man’s chest. With a spike in hand Ezekiel opened up the robed figure’s chest over and over. Blinking she doesn’t move at first, never having seen him act out so aggressively before, save the time they had argued below the coliseum on Alpha Prime.
Sitting up as he continued to stab at the man Akassa heard the chuckling, not liking this side of him. He had told her openly before that he cared little for her prideful side, the attitude she sometimes had due to her royal upbringing. The Princess understood that, for Conri Lane had also had the same thing to say, and watching him stab away at the now dead body she was seeing a part of him that she did not approve of. Shoving the rest of the way up to her feet she steps over to Ezekiel, watching his hand as he pulls it up with the intent to stab the corpse yet again. This time she would not let him though.
On her feet Akassa’s arm snaps forward to grab his around the wrist as it rises above his head. Gripping it tightly she didn’t pull or twist, but simply tied to prevent it from descending to stab the man yet again. This Ezekiel was not the one she knew, not the one she considered her friend. Holding his arm up in the air Akassa had powered back up to her full strength in order to match his. Unsure if he was going to try and jerk his arm free or perhaps even attack her in his murderous rage she spoke as well.
”Enough Ezekiel…” Keeping the statement simple she also let her voice soften some, the Princess’ voice surprisingly mellow and quiet compared to the way she normally spoke. Unsure what exactly had set him off, not having seen the events that led up to his vicious attack Akassa hoped he was not about to launch himself at her. Ever a soldier she was ready though in case he should take a swing at her, but she hoped her soft words had gotten through to him. As she held his arm her eyes focused on the side of his head, prepared to meet his own eyes should he turn to look at her.

Blind rage. All Zeke could see was blood at this point. The man he had attacked had even been stronger than he was, but it was just the situation of being caught off guard with such force that caused Zeke to end the man's life so easily. He honestly had no idea when he would stop... he didn't plan to. He had even completely forgotten why he was attacking this man to begin with. Something to do with Akassa? . . . Who was Akassa again? His mind raced through those few questions quickly, not gaining any answers. Just stab him again. Do it again. More... More...
His hand came to a sudden stop, but he still put his body into trying to shove forward. It was just then he realized his arm wasn't going anywhere. Why wasn't it moving!? He needed to keep going... Then reality started to quickly fold back into his mind, causing him to tremble. His Overdrive faded after a moment or two, and the spike fell into ashes, blowing away in the breeze. He closed his eyes and let out a frustrated sigh, pulling his arm away from Akassa and pinching the section between his eyes. "I... I don't know..." he said, answering the question that Akassa's stare was asking. Why was he doing this? Why the rage and the overkill? And also... why did it seem as if he enjoyed it way too much?
He slowly stood up, stumbling a little before he regained his balance. The mess he had made out of the man was enough to make it look like his top half had been hit by every car on a train. Zeke was almost sickened by it himself, backing away. Then Kazu approached, looking down on the mess and back up to Zeke. He had a beer in his hand.
"Well now, ya dun f**ked him up pretty good." He said, taking a drink. Then he sighed at Zeke and shook his head. "We talked about this, Zeke. I know you think you can handle it, but I think you see now that this kind of thing isn't something you can just control. This is the fourth time..."
Zeke looked at Akassa. She would want answers... ones that he had planned on never having to give. He wanted this to be his secret from her and everyone else. But it wasn't all that surprising in some ways. He had lost it like this before he came to the moon, unleashing a massacre in the Clan he had spent his life with. However, they had been brainwashing murderers and deserved their fate, but not in the way he had dished it out. Then there was Ninjin. He had nearly met his end just because of a simple tournament. then Zeke attacked Akassa outright in the locker room. Now he had lost it again. He wasn't long looking away, his head dropping.
"Zeke, you better get some help. One day you'll snap and you won't come out of it. Is that what you want? And what if it's a friend next time?" Kazu asked.
Zeke stood there with his head bowed in shame. His fists clenched and his teeth gritted. But he agreed with Kazu. "Yeah." he said. He felt stupid now... all in front of Akassa as well. Now she would think he was some kind of freak or just plain insane. Nothing good seemed to ever last for him... maybe it would be better to just go mad. Then he wouldn't need to worry anymore... He shoved that thought aside quickly.
"I have always had this rage within me. A sort of bloodlust that triggers when I get to a high level of anger or sorrow. Sometimes I can stop it or channel it, but usually I black out and just loose control. That's what had happened to Ninjin, Akassa. I didn't even know what I did until after it was over..." He explained. Then he turned away and walked off towards what was left of the bar.
"If you think I'm crazy, that's fine." he said, continuing onward.
--------------------------------
The battle seemed to be over at this point. After seeing his comrade crushed to death under his own weight in the malfunctioning Gravity Chamber, the second man who had attacked Jaxine ran off. Dr. Walters was already downstairs, locked in a screaming fight with Jaxine over the mess, though Walters seemed more upset with the broken table. Twenty-One had already begun assessing the damage and started doing what she could to clean up. She left the rubble in place for now, she knew that Zeke would need it to re-materialize the walls and furniture later.
Above the scene there was something else though. A dark figure with two red eyes looking down on the street below; a jet black coat full of tears blowing in the wind, but his wide brimmed cowboy-like hat seemed to stay in place. This man too had a six foot blade, only he kept it on his left hip. He smiled as he watched Ezekiel walk away from the scene. It seemed the woman had stopped him though. So close, he thought. Ezekiel would need to become stronger though.
The woman, the other man down there... nobody had seen anything yet.

Akassa felt him try and jerk his hand away at first, but she held on firmly. Waiting until he relaxed she was glad when he powers back down, the spike in his hand crumbling to nothing as it rode away on the wind. Without having to ask it he understood the question on her mind, what in the hell was he doing? The Ezekiel she knew as a much calmer individual than the one before her and it seemed even he didn’t know where the anger came from. Frowning some she takes a step back, releasing his hand as he began to rise to his feet. Quite confused she was curious as to why he had acted out so violently, but as a reserved individual herself she knew better than to ask.
Quietly watching him she wondered if she should say anything at all, unsure as what words he might want to hear. Of course this close to Kazu’s bar the silence was destined to be broken, the bartender making his way over towards then. Already having a beer in hand, apparently not that concerned with the current state of his bar, Kasu speaks right up. Unlike the Princess he had no filter when it came to speaking out, even starting to go into enough detail to inform her that this was the fourth time something like this had happened. That caught her attention, but again she kept her mouth shut, not wanting to press Ezekiel about it, especially not at the moment.
Kazu went on to scold him a little, pointing out that if he was truly losing control of himself it might be on someone he cared for in the future. Still standing in silence she let the blonde do the talking, figuring he knew Ezekiel far better than her, the two of them had just started to become friends. Soft brown eyes on her friend Akassa wasn’t sure if he was going to say anything to her at all, perhaps embarrassed for the way he had acted. She knew what that was like; her recent poor performances had made it hard for her talk with her father, embarrassed by how much she had been losing as of late. Whether he wasn’t as embarrassed as she thought or figured she was going to ask anyway Ezekiel spoke.
Listening, her expression remained neutral; not letting him read her reaction. In a way she knew what he was talking about for she loved combat, but when in the throws a fight she tended to lose herself at times. The angrier she got the more aggressive she became, the more ruthless of a fight she tended to become. She had never stabbed a dead body as many times as he just had, but she had definitely gone over the top in several instances. Watching him move towards the bar she hesitates, debating is she should follow or not. Part of her wanted to move right up to him and grill him for information about this organization, yet…as his friend she knew that wasn’t what she should do.
Instead she moves up behind him, her hand reaching up to grab onto his shoulder. Grabbing it firmly, but gently she only meant to stop him from moving forward any further. ”Ezekiel, you do not need to explain yourself to me. All of us have demons, whether we share them or not, but the fact of the matter is you came to my aide. Bloodlust of not you helped a friend, so you were not completely out of control and you didn’t strike out at me when I grabbed your arm.” Pausing a moment she gives his shoulder a strong squeeze, the largest show of affection she had probably ever given him. ”It’s been a long day, we both should get some rest. We will talk again soon though Ezekiel…hopefully without destroying Kazu’s bar again.” It was a poor attempt at humor, the Princess even offering Kazu a small smile before letting go of Ezekiel’s shoulder. The day had been…eventful, but it was not one she regretted. In more ways than one she had learned about Ezekiel NeCross and if the future she would learn more.

He needed help. He was trying to secretly fight the battle in his head for a long time now... trying to conquer the Madness. Long ago Zeke thought he had a man who trained him. He never did, it was a figment of his imagination, just like how he thought that Muramasa spoke to him. But at the same time, it made no sense. He was learning techniques exclusive to the Black Sun Elite from nowhere... where did these thoughts... this knowledge come from? Was the Madness teaching him?
He didn't know, nor did he want to. That's when someone put a hand on his shoulder and stopped him dead in his tracks. It was Akassa... she was more understanding than he'd expected, and she made a good point. He may have lost it, but was he really out of control? If he went totally mad, he would have just attacked anyone. He targeted her attacker, and resisted attacking her. A new question arose. Could he channel his inner Madness? Was it worth the possibility of loosing his mind forever and possibly attacking good people to try?
No. He would seek help.
She gave his shoulder a squeeze, informing him they would soon speak again. He figured that meant she was going to leave. Too bad it couldn't of left off with them talking and having a better night, but this was still better than what he'd expected. He reached up and placed a hand on top of hers. "Thanks, Kass. It actually means alot." he said. He referred to a number of things that she had just done.
Kazu simply smiled and took a drink of his beer. Then, a wall busted out and a hooded man stumbled out, falling on his face. Behind him came Jaxine, totally covered in blood with what looked like a dislocated shoulder. "Now THAT was a party!" she said, coming out of the same wall and walking over to Kazu. She put her hand on her dislocated shoulder and pulled it in with a stomach turning crunch before moving it around. "Ah, better. I think we might have won... the f**k happened to that dude?" she asked, looking at the guy with thirty-seven stab wounds in him. Kazu shushed her and shook her head.
Twenty-One landed beside them. "Kazu, I believe the bar has sustained significant structural damage." she informed him.
"Yep." he said, taking a drink.
"Kazu..." Zeke said. "The bar is... actually barely standing." he told him as well.
"Mmhmm..." Kazu noted, still not looking back.
Then a little bird flew down and landed on the roof. It touched it... then the whole thing colapced into nothing but a pile of rubble and dust. The bird died.
It went quiet. "Kazu, bar fell over." Jaxine said.
Kazu took a drink.
Jaxine was confused. "Damnit Kazu, the bar's f**ked! Your livelihood, the place we lived, everything you spent your life working at just crumbled into dust! Gonna say something!?"
Kazu smiled. Of all things... he smiled! He whipped around and pulled a piece of paper from inside his shirt. "Behold! I was sure to take out a MASSIVE insurance policy on the bar two years ago! Then I just so happened to let an ex-Assassin, a psychopath, a homicidal killing machine and a mad scientist move in for free! So... yeah I'm gettn close to five hundred thousand Zeni from Rosen Co. Insurance! So yeah, I'm buying a chunk of land I seen across from the palace and rebuilding the pub twice the size with double the parking space!"
He burst into laughter. Zeke was wide eyed. "Wait... did I get used or..."
Then Jaxine clued in. "Holy shit, Walters was in there!" she yelled, running over to the rubble and digging through in search of the little madman.
Zeke turned to Akassa. "Well, I guess you'll be heading off then? No need to worry about us, there's a motel down the street we will stay at. Sorry for all the nonsense and the... attack. I didn't want the night to end like this." he said. He was back to normal now for the most part. The collapse of the bar didn't bother him. He could create all he needed and was used o having nothing. This was just another night to Zeke.

There was no way for Akassa to completely understand what Ezekiel had been or was going through. The Princess understood anger that was for sure, but madness was another thing. Regardless she knew what it was like to lose control of herself, her thoughts momentarily drifting back to her fight with Ninjin during the Galactic Tournament. During their heated fight she had said many things that she had never meant to say as her anger got the better of her. Most of the comments had been directed and Ninjin and his inability to recognize the strength she possessed, years of built up rage finally bubbling forth during combat. Strangely enough it had brought them closer in the end, that anger allowing her to push herself farther than she thought she was capable of going, her brother finally forced to respect her. After that they had talked and whether it was the fight itself or afterwards when he had seen footage of it, something had altered his perspective. The new Ninjin was much stronger than the old.
Hand on Ezekiel’s shoulder Akassa lets a small smile curl across her lips as he thanks her, glad that her words and gesture had at least gotten through to him. When his hand rested over hers though she was glad for the rough fight she had just been through, the dirt on her cheeks covering the slightly pink color they took. The Princess had been trying to show some understanding and was perhaps even showing a little affection, but she had not expected him to show it return for some reason. Nodding some the half-saiyan pulls her hand from his shoulder shortly after, starting to lift into the air.
Floating in the air she hesitates to leave as the rest of his friends emerge from the partially destroyed bar. First was Jaxine, and then the blonde one known as Twenty-One, both of them seeming to be fine for the most part. Watching them in silence Akassa had to smirk a little. Despite everything that had just happened to all of them, even Kazu, whose bar collapses moments later seemed to be in a good mood. Scanning them over she was glad that Ezekiel had such friends, people that he could count on and spend his time with. With that happy realization though came another one; did she really belong among this group? Sure they had just shared that gesture of friendship as she tried her best to console him, but in reality they didn’t know each other as well as Ezekiel knew the rest of them. Smirk slowly fading; she looks to Ezekiel as her turns to face her.
”I think so Ezekiel, I am sure the lot of you could use a good rest. As for the nonsense…don’t worry about it, all is well in the company of friends right? Besides, I am always up for a good fight.” Offering him a half hearted smile she then turns to leave, lifting higher into the air. Part of her wanted to stay and spend more time just talking with them, but as much as it might be enjoyable it wasn’t her place. Sighing some as she pulls away from the group, lifting into the air above New Vegeta, Akassa wasn’t sure exactly where she fit in. Sure she was a Hattori and would still gladly give her life for the rest of her family, but that didn’t mean she necessarily fit with them. Most in her family respected her for her prowess, however; until her step mother and father granted her the rights of her siblings she would never truly fit in like Ninjin and Leke. Soaring in the air above her beloved city Akassa felt strangely unsure of her place in the world; one of the few times in her life she questioned her path. Little did she know that in a couple of days they would be under attack, an event that would change her life in ways she couldn’t imagine.
