(This a continuation from Breaking the bank part I, but I have decided to make it a thread with man)
The empty metal lot smelled of burnt flesh and rust as the ship of Nesu had just landed beyond the courtyard of the old factory, already the man was standing before Anri and the rest of Mercs as they were discussing the heist he had planned. Already it seemed like a flawed idea but Anri was biased against the man he had no want to be around him, his toothy grin sent waves of anger through his skull. There was nothing he could do about it though, as much as he wanted to rip his neck off the man, he had all the cards in his hand.
"So...a heist huh? And from where are we going to steal such wealth from?"
"Its a rather large casino called "The heart of Alpha." He cleared his throat as one of the mercs gasped under there breath.
"Not to worry, its care taker will be off for a few days, that's wen we shall plan the heist."
"The plan right now hasn't all be formed yet, needless to say its still in the works. We have more than enough time to fully work out the details. As for right now I think it would be best for you to go see my physician Anri, after such a fight I would want to trump card to be in full working order before such a plan of action was taken."
"Why not just use that cream stuff?" Anri pointed over his shoulder at the other mercs.
"Ah yes you could but it would appear that- I don't know how its possible but the DUMB FUCKS used it all." Nesu sighed as he placed his fingers up to his eyes.
Taking a card from his jacket he walked forward as his feet brushed across the metal flooring, holding the card out he presented it too the Vennor. Not very sure what it was he took a hold of the card and looked it over, the strange alien symbols that ran across it confused him.
"Not to worry, I've already ordered a taxi too come and take you, just show him that and everything will be fine." He gave Anri that toothy grin and then turned his attention back to the other mercs.
Anri would have stayed around to see what else would happen but Nesu was really starting to get on his last nerve, just in time the taxi pulled around the corner and came to rest just outside the entrance to the court yard. Without waiting another second he made his way over to the ship and crawled inside of it, his larger than normal body making it difficult for him to fit in properly. With just barely enough room he was able to close the door shut, flipping the card up he offered it to the alien that was drivening the vehicle. Without saying so much as a thing the creature glanced at the card and then kicked the ship alive once again.
Arriving a little later the craft touched down on the pavement with not so much as even a light tap, he wouldn't have even know the vehicle had stopped if it wasn't for the fact that the cab driver told him to get out. Anri was surprised that the creature hadn't asked for payment but yet again Nesu probably paided the alien off, or somehow the man owed him one. It mattered little to him as he shurgged his shoulders as he opened the door and stepped out of the vehicle back out into the lit streets of Alpha.
The area was dramatically better than the torn down factory district he had been in before, while before everything was coated in a fine layer of dust here everything seemed to be properly clean. Turning to his left he stood before a large building, though most of the structure around here seemed to be made of metal this one was almost completely made of glass as he could see through too the insides. Across the front of the building was a bright lit up neon sign, the characters were once again in a alien language and he cursed under his breath that he hadn't tried to learn any of them yet, it made such things annoying to get around. Taking a few steps forward he opened the door to the building and walked inside, the first thing too hit him was the fresh smell that everything had just been cleaned. It was a nice change from the metal smell that loomed over the city, he was told he would get used to it in time but that time seemed to be far, far away.
He stood there glancing around the room trying to find someone that could give him a better direction of where to go next. He had only told him to go here and get checked out but he wasn't sure who he was looking for exactly.

As Anri approaches the building, the glass doors would slide open. Stepping inside on the very entrance, he finds himself enclosed between two doors. Sensors in the engineered walls detect his presence and release disinfectants sprayed over the alien's body. However, everything would have ended by the time Anri realized what happened. Immediately, the following doors slide open in front of him, allowing him access into the lobby. Scientists need to keep their environment neutral and quarantined to ensure their experiments remain uncontaminated. The room was large and everything in it was white; the tiled floor, the walls, the tables, everything was regularly polished and cleansed. Looking outside through the glass walls, one could see a bold contrast between the laboratory and the rest of the city; one might forget they were in Alpha Prime when turning the corner. Even the street in front of the megastructure seemed to sparkle compared to the usual littered streets in the city.
Inside, it was quiet and vacant. The alien would find himself in total isolation. The front counter was empty; over it, a single television screen turned on the news channel broadcasting about another car accident. To the right, comfortable black sofas arranged towards the center, facing a common coffee table. The rest of the room was mostly composed of tropical plants, imported from distant planets, lined along the foot of the glass walls and another one centered to the left. Besides the monotonous sound of the reporter's voice, a light buzz could be heard throughout the room. The ventilation system was quite thorough and kept the inside very cozy at room temperature. Security cameras were stationed at every corner of the room, vigilant to any suspicious behavior.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of isolation, a hidden hatch opened and a lizard-like being walked out to greet him. "Are you Anri?" he inquired. His tongue slithered like a serpent. He wore a long white lab coat which covered most of his scale-infused body. He stood on his two hind legs, his hands locked behind his back in a hunched down position. His small slitted eyes peered across the bright room with scrutiny, as if he had already calculated the chemistry of the alien's body. Without any further proceedings, the reptilian creature turns his back and walks back inside, his long tail dragging against the floor. Even if Anri had not answered, he already knew who the alien was, Nesu had already informed them of his arrival; plus, he was like nothing the scientist had ever seen before. Even after the scientist disappeared, the door remained open, inviting Anri to enter.
Through the hatch, the hallway was a bit dimmer than the lobby, it was a narrow white passage with tubes running along the domical walls; perhaps, Anri's eyes could see the alien's tail slithering along the ground. Soon, they would reach the end of the hallway as another hatch opened up. The room was still relatively darker than the lobby, it seemed as if the deeper they ventured into the laboratory, the less light was present. Now, they walked along another hall; except, flanked at both sides the alien would observe a collection of tanks lined across the room. Inside the tanks were different and bizarre creatures floating and submersed within a green liquid with breathing masks and wires strapped around their bodies. Monitors were stationed and personalized for each tank, displaying an assortment of statistics and weird numbers one would not be able to understand unless matriculated in the sciences. Automated flying robots systematically paraded down the halls to supervise, regulate, and record data. They were round little machines -about as big as a head, with two long arms about three times the length of its main body.
Centered in the middle of the room, there was a round platform. The reptilian scientist walked over it and stopped, waiting for Anri to join him. Instants later after they were joined, the platform would rise from the ground and elevate them to the highest level of the building. He had not spared a word during the entire trip and would not say anything even if the alien had tried to make conversation. The lizard simply stared at him stoicly without a single twitch, ostensibly void of emotion. Regardless, he was dying to know about his secrets just as much as his colleague would as soon as they arrived. Then, the platform reached the top and locked onto the floor. They would now find themselves in a room at the very peak of the laboratory, enclosed completely by glass domes. Above them were the stars and across the city's skyline. The space was decent with various monitors displaying different things and a single man was in the room, hunched up against his desk, writing down some notes. He was muttering some words which were much too slurred and hushed to understand from their distance.
The lizard next to Anri cleared his throat audibly to make their presence known -as if the elevator weren't loud enough. The man, also in a lab coat, turned on his chair to meet his guest. "Aha!" he exclaimed with a wide smile, "you must be the Vennor!" The young scientist briskly walked up to him, oblivious to the possibility that Anri might have been uncomfortable with him getting into his personal space. In just moments, he was inspecting the alien as if he were prey, orbiting around him like a vulture. "Phenomenal!" he said, ecstatic. He was very different compared to his colleague who kind of disappeared into the dark corners of the room. "My name is Ivan!" he explained, "and the man who greeted you is The Doctor."
However, before Anri could respond, the scientist gazed at him; hazel and blue eyes staring with glee. "How do your people mate?" Ivan's race was unknown, although he appeared to have human traits. The major difference being the red pigment of his skin.

Walking through the opened glass doors Anri found himself trapped as they quickly closed behind his back, he didn't take much his care of it as even if this had been some type of trap it would need more than glass walls to stop advance forward. Though before he acted out he waited a few seconds to see what else would transpire in the glass box, since he hadn't been working with Nesu much he wasn't really sure what to expect from the man. He was cunning and wicked but he was no fool, at least Anri hoped he wasn't, having so much influence in the way of wealth one should have a sharp mind. Hearing a clinking sound within the walls blasts of gas swept over his body before he had a chance to react to it, but as quickly as the toxic gasses had come they left without a trace other than the coughing that Anri was now doing. It was a minor inconvenience that annoyed him but the glass door that was in front of him did open as it allowed him entrance to the rest of the building. Shrugging off the little annoyance he continued forward as he stepped into the spotless lobby, the freshly cleaned air chasing off the gas he had been sprayed with.
Glancing around the room he got a better idea of his surroundings, tables, chairs, a front desk and white, everything was white even the furniture as he looked around the room. It reminded him of the hospitals back on Riva, everything was cleaned until the point that one could eat off the floor and it would be healthier than eating off ones plate at home. It was certainly a change from the run down streets that ran their way across the metal structure he pondered the idea of why the rest of Alpha prime could not look as in well of shape as this building, it was a closed in environment such a thing would not have been difficult to achieve if given the time and resources. Shaking the thought from his head he took notice that he was the only person that was inside of the room, though there was a front desk it looked only too be occupied by a small tv that was replaying news footage from earlier in the day, something about another crash but Arni paid little attention other than a glance. It seemed to be the only sound in the room other than the dimly roaring sound of the cooling system as it worked at full capacity to chill a room with no one inside to enjoy it.
It was the absence of most of the sounds that made the new one stand out as a creaking sound broke through the rest as Anri turned his head to see a hatch open up on the floor near him. Crawling out from the hole appeared to be a creature of some sort, related to reptiles no doubt as his skin was covered in head to toe in a thick layer of over lapping scales, each of which shimmered softly in the lighting of the room. The vast majority of his body was covered by a white lab coat that matched the rest of the room, seeing the dark lines under his eyes and the his hunched back, the Vennor guessed he was a man that spent most of his time looking over the screen of a monitor, that and mostly likely a person of science. The creatures forked tongue shot out from his mouth as he spoke to Anri, addressing him by his name Anri guessed this was the man he had been sent to see.
"Ah ya that's-" Anri was cut off as the man seemed satisfied with his statement as he crawled back down the hole from which in originally came from.
With the hatch still opened Anri glanced around the room one last time and proceeded to follow the reptilian creature down, he wasn't sure exactly where he was being taken but that was fine with him, he enjoyed seeing the different sights of the city. Rather than climb down like the creature had down before him Anri decided that falling would be much faster, he doubted the fall would be more than ten feet and even if it wasn't he had survived drops from much higher before. Landing with a crashing thump he found himself in a much darker hallway than before, compared to the building above they might have well as been inside a cave. Picking himself up from his crouched position he looked around the floor, even though it was dark he could see just fine with his doubled lens eye sharping every object within his line of sight. Numerous numbers of tube lined the walls that ran down the hallway each as little creature are through them, not wanting to get left behind Anir quickly rejoined the reptilians side as they came up to another hatch as it opened before their presence.
Sometimes he wished he did not have such an ability to see so well in dim lighting as his eyes feel upon the many tubes that ran along the length of the wall. Each one seemed to hold a creature of a different species he doubted that each one had come from the same planet, there was a even higher chance that some of them were considered intelligent, but then again so where Ignix's but damn if they didn't taste delicious fried and on a bun. From the looks of it though they were not dead at least that's what it looked like as took notice of the monitor that was hooked up to each one, their heart rates being displayed to the aliens. Anri wondered what the purpose was to be keeping them inside the tubes, what could be learned from the creature that couldn't have been asked from each of them. He stopped for a few seconds to look a nearby seen as he traced the numbers with his eyes he could make some sense of what the display was telling but the alien symbols made the rest all but impossible for him to understand, shrugging he jogged back to catch up with the alien.
Ducking out of the way of a hover robot he met up once again with the reptiles as he was standing waiting for him in the center of the room. Steeping onto the rounded platform it began to rise up into the sky, rising ever higher after each passing second they soon found themselves in the highest point of the structure. With a snapping sound the platform locked into place as it now matched the rest of the floor of the level, if one had no ridden the lift they would never know it was there in the first place. Craning his neck around the room he looked through the glass doom that surround them as the blackness of space surround them he could make out the faint twinkles of star light has they had traveled thousands of light years too greet him. It was a grand site, one of which Anri would have looked at for hours but he had other things he needed to attend too first.
Snapping his attention back to the rest of the room he saw a creature hunched over a series of monitors as his hands flew across papers as he jotted his words down. Clearing his throat the little reptile man called attention to their presence in the room. Whipping around in his chair the creature spun around to greet them, the excitement could be heard in his voice as his face seemed too light up at the sight of the Vennor. Almost as if the man could fly he glided across the floor as he walked in circles around him looking him up and down, Anri felt like he was a piece of meat that was for auction at the market.
"Look I don't much-" That was all Anri could get out before the scientist explode with more excitement, he seemed like a ball of energy that just never ran out.
As he opened his mouth to greet the two Ivan blurted out such a sentence that caused smoke to plume from his back in waves. He wasn't sure what to make of Ivan, he didn't seem to understand a little thing called personal boundaries were, however at the same time Anri could tell he was a man of science which was something he was happy about. He hated dealing with the numerous amount of morons that lived on Alpha, he had longed wished for a conversation that didn't eventually turn into' Y'all won’t believe this shit!', which usually turned out to be a chuck of space debir that got stuck in his 'truck'.
"Not really sure that's the best way to start off a conversation, why don't you give that another shot." Anri said with a bit of encouragement in his voice, as he hoped the man would get his point. As much as he wanted an intelligent conversation he wasn't about to be mental dissected for the creature’s interest.

The scientist’s excitement slowly faded, his lit up face lowered to a stern and professional one. Poised, he glances at the steam rising from behind the alien. His interest piqued even more; he was dying to learn about the inner workings of a Vennor. The red man moved away to give Anri distance and cleared his throat. His hand rest under the chin as if in thought as he walked away. “It seems I have made you uncomfortable,” he said, “I’m terribly sorry.” The scientist turns around to greet him again with a newly refreshed smile and an extended hand. “My name is Ivan. I am a scientist and this is Alpha’s finest Laboratory. We work under the Lord himself and conduct a number of prestigious experiments within the facility. Whom do I have the honor of addressing?”
Ivan would wait for the man to shake his hand; otherwise, he would just stare silently until he had. After that, the man would turn his back and walk towards his desk to shuffle around some more paper. He spoke as he did, “I was speaking with Nesu only moments ago when he informed me about your imminent arrival. I heard you had a shocking experience during your last mission,” he said, looking back by the corner of his eye with a sly grin, after which he continued with his proceedings. “The Doctor and I will be in charge of pros…” he paused for a moment, deciding the word did not suit the circumstances; he chose another, “examining your body.” The scientist piled up a few papers into different stacks and organized them on his desk; a scientist needed to be very orderly if they wished to accomplish anything, one would even go as far as saying Ivan might have had Obsessive-Compulsion Disorder. If Anri looked across the dome shaped room he would find it to be immaculate. There was not one thing out of place, not one smudge, the trash cans were already changed and the windows clean enough to see their own reflection.
The scientist finished up and walked towards him. “We have to make sure you are in perfect health. I’m sure you are, you look perfectly fine, but you never know what one might catch in this filthy place, -especially you, an outsider who has been exposed to it all. Nesu speaks very fondly of you. We wouldn’t want something to happen to his most prized asset.” Soon, Ivan would join them in the center of the room and the floor would begin to descend.

Anri watched at his words had soaked into the mans brain, men of science often got so caught up in their own world that they forget how to act around 'normal' people, though normal wasn't something most people would call the Vennor that stood in the room. The awe that had filled his face before quickly was zapped away from him and was replaced with one that was questionable as it seemed that he had just taken full notice of how he was acting. Noting that his acts had made him uncomfortable Anri grinned at such a thought, there were only but a few things in the universe that could do such a thing too him and being asked such a question wasn't it, though he thought it rather rude to open with such a question. Sure Vennor were battle ready tanks but they knew how to address others with respect and dignity, though being a militaristic society such things were to be expected of its citizens, otherwise punishment was enforced and Vennor's knew how to make people squirm in pain.
Turning around the red man seemed to take a few seconds to regain his composer, turning back around to face Anri again but this time his face had a different look to it, a more friendly one rather than one of wanting to study him like in was an animal. Extending his arm out to Anri in what seemed to be some sort of greeting he stared down at the man's hand not really sure what to do with it, still being fairly new to the whole universal scene his knowledge over others cultures was still something he was trying to understand.
"Pleasure too meet you...Ivan...and I'm Anri of the Vennor. Though Anri will work just fine if you wish to address me." He noted as he looked down at Ivan's out stretched still not very sure of what he should do.
"And please you don't have to be all formal with me, I'm not anyone that should be held in such high regards just another cog in the machine that is life." He said as he waved is arm at the world around them.
Turning his back once again Arni thought the alien might have some type of OCD or AD-HD as it seemed this was a recurring pattern in his movements or it could have just been his imagination that caused such an idea to form in his head. Heading towards the desk from which he had first spotted him Ivan as he began to shuffle the papers around, it almost looked like her was trying to find something or again it was the OCD in had thought of before. Speaking up his voice bounced off from the far wall and reached its way back to Anri, it looked as though words of his little encounter had already met up with Ivan, news seemed to travel fast under Nesu's ranks, though he imagined that such a creature as Anri would spark some interest in more than one group around the station.
"That's one way to point it, though I'm pretty sure I scared the shit of the one that did it too me. Not often that someone can take that many volts and walk away to talk about it." Anri grinned back at the man.
Noting that the two of them were going to examine his body made Arni raise his eye at such an idea, he had taken bit a bit of volts but he was sure that he was fine. An examination seemed over the top for a wound that didn't even cause any exterior damage on himself, it wasnt often that an electrical attack would kill a person afterwards from an internal injury once a person was at that point they would be able to feel such a pain inside of them and he felt fine.
"I really don't think that's necessary it was only a few thousand volts and as you can clearly see I'm not injured." Anri noted as he raised his arms up to show his body, but it seemed that Ivan was more interested in the neatly stacked papers on his table than Anri.
Turning back to Anri ,Ivan explained that even though he physical was fine he could have caught a disease in such a place as Alpah prime given its rusted, run down appearance the man could be right. Not to mention he was an outsider just as Ivan had said, he was more prone to picking up a disease than those that had lived here longer than himself. It didn't take Anri long to think his words over and even though he could fight against the examination it really was in his best interest to go along with the aliens, if he had picked up a fatal disease he would rather know about it now than end up dying sick and alone on a foreign world. Shaking his head he watched as Ivan joined him and the reptilian alien on the platform as it's motors once again kicked to life as it began to sink back down into the shaft they had come from before.

As soon as Ivan joined them in the center of the platform and the Vennor was subdued by his unmistakable reasoning, the floor would collapse upon itself and lower them back down. He stood confidently and pleased next to the alien with his hands locked behind the waist as the floor descended under the ground. The tunnel was dimly illuminated by select lights engraved into the walls. Three stories down, the elevator stops and a hatch slides open, revealing a long and white hall clean enough to eat off the floor. The scientists proceeded inside and trust the Vennor would follow. At the end of the hallway another pristine hatch slides open to reveal dozens of work desks and laboratory aids humped up on their chairs. Nobody had even noticed their presence, they were too focused on their distinctive duties to appreciate the exquisite creature in their premises. What a shame, Ivan thought, they would miss the spectacular discoveries he was about to unfold on this peculiar species while they sweat over mundane things with little promise. Hands raced on the desks as the scientists wrote down their notes and calculations with deadfast speed. Others observed different substances on vials with utmost scrutiny, they wafted the order into their nostrils, and tested their chemical properties through mixing with other chemicals and observing the chemical reactions. Each alien was different and it seemed like they each had a task designated according to their strengths; big noses to smell better, extra fingers to type faster, mechanized eyes with HD definition, there were all kinds of unique aliens, but none of them intrigued Ivan as much as Anri.
Towards the end of the room, another hatch opens to reveal a second room very identical to the rest. Ivan peered behind him with a raised eyebrow. He was sure the alien might have been wondering by now why there were so many doors. "What do you think?" he asked with a light smile. He was prideful of his laboratory, it was vast and spacious, and it held many talents. "The common dwellers think of a laboratory and they view these popularized filthy rooms with papers all over the place, dangerous liquids spilled over desks, and a mad scientist with white and messy hair. Jibberish, that's what it is. No real scientist can work in such an environment. You see, science is meant to be performed in pure and sterlized areas, isolated areas so we may observe them in their most natural form without contamination. Keeping the workplace clean is just as important as any other activity taking place in lab, it also ensures safety. If someone were to make a mistake and let loose a dangerous gas, we need to evacuate and isolate as soon as possible. If we fail to contain it, all of our other experiments would become contaminated, and let's not even think of what might happen if it ever left the walls of this building and infects the general public. If there were risk for such a case, this entire building would self-destruct, eliminating all of us and its contents burned to ashes. We hold very detrimental things confined within this building."
On their way to the final door, Ivan glances at a monitor in the distance. There were pairs of scientists sleeping on nursery beds with wires attached to their heads while their colleagues performed analysis's. On the screen, there was the image of a normal brain, and what appeared like a chain. One might confuse it with DNA or some other thing, but it's true identity brought a smile to the scientist's visage. The hatch then opened and the group found themselves in an isolated and relatively small room with absolutely nobody. It was a circular room built around a centered glass chamber. Monitors displayed all over the walls. Ivan walked towards the chamber and opened it, he glanced at the Vennor with a smile and urged him in. The Doctor went ahead and prepared the computers for the processes that were about to take place. "It may seem a little frightening at first, but do not fret, the chamber will be filled with a special green liquid. At first, you will feel as if you are suffocating, but in less than five minutes your lungs will accept them as oxygen and you shan't feel any more than different than you do now."

Anri kept clam as the elevator dropped down a few stories down back into the shaft in which they had come up through in the first place, it was a smooth ride as whoever had design the contraption surely knew of what they were doing. Even when the mechanize first dropped he had barely felt the increased acceleration, if he hadd been blindfolded he might have never know that they were moving in the first place. Keeping quite and too himself he scanned out over the shaft and took in what the dim light had to show him but nothing had really changed since the trip up, though he really didn't expect it too have.
Settling down three stories below the platform came to a rest as it sunk into the flooring as the mechanical gears locked it in place once more. Letting Ivan take the led once more he followed closely behind on his trail not wanting to get lost in such a structure, usually he would just punched his ways through to walls if he ever got lost but being that this was a space station the idea of opening a hole to the vacuum of space was not was one he was very excited to feel. With another opening hatch appearing infront of them a quick air tight seal would break and with a quick motion the door would slide open to revile a white bleach lab, already there were many different species of alien going to work on different projects; he was a tad put off by how no one even bothered to look up at them as they passed by. Of course men of science often got so caught up in their work they often forget to view the world around them or even eat for that matter, it was a terrible habit but when one loved doing what the did nothing else really mattered anymore. It brought him back to Riva were he spent a few years working as a lab assistant during his down time on the base he was stationed at, though it wasn't nothing special to talk about he learned a great of things from those he had the chance to work with.
It was a nice change that no one was looking his way, being the first of his kind that had ventured off into the stars it was impossible that anyone would have ever had the chance to see a Vennor before and the looks he had been getting on the station since he arrived weren't always the most pleasant, lucky for most people they were smart enough not to get into his way. A clam Vennor was fun and laid back, but once the blood got pumping they were a force to be reckoned with, as of late though only a few had the chance too really see just what he was truly capable of doing. Men of science though were often more excepting of new things rather than push them selves away they came closer to get a better understanding of what it was they were dealing with, it didn't always turn out well but he found he like such people better, they had higher intellect and were much easier too talk too. Ivan... he was odd ball, Anri had met worse though, so far his impression of his ranged around weird, bur interesting, definitely someone he would like to know more about, and he guessed he was just intruded about him as Ivan was about Anri.
Taking their stride past the group of hard worker another sealed door opened up to show them another lab that was similar too the last but this time the groups of aliens were busy it s different task. It took him a few seconds to figure it out but it almost looked like they were studying and recording brain wave activity when in REM sleep but without knowing much about the project it was his best guess work from viewing at were he was at. He thought it a tad odd that such advance creatures would be dabbling in such primitive research, his people had long ago unlock the mysterious behind sleep as it primarily went towards development of the cryogenics they worked so long to achieve.
Asking Anri what he thought about what he had seen he thought for a little bit on the idea, it was a nice place but he left like they could have been doing more with the space they had not to mention he was sure the budget for such thing was more massive that he could imagine.
"It's nice." He said with a calm face as he glanced back and forth across the scientists as he listened to Ivan talk about his lab, from the tone in his voice he could tell that the alien held great pride in his workings.
"Well clean is always one way to go... I mean a few of my... 'friends' and I built a fission reactor in a old torn down warehouse when I was fifteen but ya clean is a good way to go. The only reason the damn thing blew up was because a damn rodent crawled into one of exhaust vales and set the thing ablaze. It smelled great but the fallout Whoa! That, that was the best part, everyone's running like crazy, panicking that the damn thing is gonna blow the city up. I simply ripped the thing out off the ground and tossed it into orbit. Then after ward we had a good laugh about it as they took us to jail, what a week." He chuckled thinking fondly back on the time were he almost died.
Heading off through the next sealed door as they walked into a room that was unlike the previous rooms, much more circular with a large glass chamber that rested as the main focus of the room. It was clear too see through and seemed to be made out of some type of glass material though it could have just been normal glass for all he knew. A series of similar montiors ranged in sizes all across the walls with data spread across them as they raced across their screens. Staying back to take everything in the room around him did Ivan paced forward and open the take for Arni even making a gesture to step inside though Anri wasn't about to step inside anything without first knowing just what it was. Even his insurance that the liquid wouldn't cause him too drown did he give a small chuckle out.
"Vennor can't drown anyway, we are amphibious by nature." He noted as he pointed to the gills on his neck.
"Whether it be water or slime we can breath in most liquids not to mention most atmosphere as long as there are compounds in which we can convert into oxygen or nitrogen. We can even convert hydrogen into oxygen if there is enough of the stuff around. " He noted as he turned his attention back to the glass tube.
"Before I step into this damn thing what exactly is it? Still new to this whole space thing and I haven't yet come across something like this."

Point made, Ivan thought. It was impressive to think his race worked on fission reactors like some kind of garage experiment, but if they had followed sanitation cues a rodent would not have interrupted their progress. They might be able to survive an explosion like that, but everyday people were not as enduring as the Vennor. Still, it was fascinating to hear about Anri's antics. Picking up a fission reactor and tossing it into orbit isn't something anyone can say. It was apparent the Vennor was a very outgoing persona -and who wouldn't, he thought, when very few things are capable of killing you, even Ivan would be as reckless as they were. He started to get an idea of what kind of race the Vennor were. Certainly, they all had their own unique personalities, but he was sure they all shared that daredevil personality just as saiyans have their pride and strength.
"Fascinating!" The scientist exclaimed, taking a closer look at the gills in the Vennor's neck. He was careful not to make him uncomfortable and kept his distance. The Doctor, who was far off in the computers, raised his hand as a sign of readiness and everything was prepared. Ivan realized Anri to be somewhat scientific and so he could appreciate an explanation of exactly what was going to be done to him.
The scientist looks at the container and explains, "You were brought here to check on the status of your health after arriving to a planet with such hazardous conditions, were you not?" he said. "This chamber was designed for exactly that purpose. You will become submerged in the liquid that will drain from the small holes at the top of the pillar. This liquid is saturated by zillions of nano-chips that collect all sorts of data concerning your health. Any illness a Vennor could possibly have will be displayed and analyzed on our monitors." The scientist explained, although he did not mention they would retrieve more than just health data. The scientist wanted to know everything about the Vennor. He smiled, "If you start feeling claustrophobic, just say the word and analysis will cease immediately."
Ivan's hands point towards the entrance, urging him to enter once more.

"Fascinating huh? Well not the way I would put it, I mean hundreds of thousands of people could have potentially died.... Ya i guess your right it is pretty fascinating huh?" He chuckled at thought of killing so many people in just one hit. As strong as the Vennor was coming a long he still wasn't at such a level that his strength would have allowed it but with every passing day he could feel his strength increase if only slightly, maybe in a few months of hard training he could accomplish something at such a feat but for now his attention was turned to the job at hand.
Taking notice of how Ivan had been talking about his gills and not of his pervouious story he have antoher laugh out as the gills on his neck flapped with the transfer of air leaving his body. The gills on his neck had proven very useful over the years, being able to breath in conditions that usually proved hazardous to most forms of life was something that had pulled him out of trouble in the past. Anri didn't take any mind to the man looking then over at him, Vennor took great pride and care of their gills, without them fully functioning it made breathing more difficult than need be, acting just like a extra pair of lungs, not to mention letting them surive in most harsh conditions. When he had crash landed after arriving too the new part of the vale if he had not had the gills to provide him with breathable air then he would have surely perished before that day was over.
"My apologizes I thought you were talking about my young antics, either way these bad boys are great. It surpises me just how well these other...people? Can survive without them, using things called... "gas masks" I believe they were called; to survive when chemical leak or gassed based weaponry. Really I would think everyone would want them." He chuckled as he walked over to the tank getting a better inspection of the glassy material.
Checking it over closer now he turned his head and Ivan spoke once more and explained just what it was and how it worked, the idea in its self was amazing not to mention something that his people would surely benefit from. On the note of being claustrophobic Anri gave Ivan a grin.
"Please I spent over five years frozen inside a compartment not much bigger than a closet and not to mention if I was really freaked out I'm sure I could just shatter the glass with my hands alone." He was joking of course but there was truth behind his words, after all it was only glass, and if he could walk through a plate of twelve inch steel as if it was nothing then he was sure he could easily break the glass.
With Ivan pointing at the glass tube Anri took one last glance in it as he cautiously stepped into side the container, there wasn't much trust built up between the two of them but in order to gain trust someone had to take the first leap. So far the man hadn't done anything to deceive Anri, even letting him walk freely down through many people working on experiments so he thought he would give him the chance and place his fate in Ivan's hands. Now inside the tube he turned to face Ivan as he peered through the glass at the computer consoles with their many numbers and alien text racing across them. He had wished he bought a translator but the time for him to had bought one had never came up, always being busy with helping around the bar or finding work left him with little time on his own other than too sleep... it reminded him about home.
"Alright whenever your ready doc, just dont put any tracking devices in me, not saying I'll be mad about it but I defiantly wont be happy. You've never seen a Vennor lose its temper and I would hate for your first experience with a Vennor to be something as such." He chuckled as he turned to face the opening from which he had come in.
Truth be told Anri was actually looking forward too just what the machine could do, seeing all the new technology around the station had been a rush too him but as of yet he hadn't got around to really being able to study it. This was probably the closest he would ever be to actually getting a close up look on some of the devices; feeling their effects and learning as much from it as he could. If only the damn cube had been here then he could make it scan the machine to learn just how it really worked, but he never brought the robot on missions anymore, too dangerous and to mention it meant having to watch the thing and make sure it stayed safe; as much as he hated the thing it was useful when it wasn't being a smart ass.

Ivan smiled as the Vennor complied and walking into the chamber. The compartment promptly closed shut as he turned to face the scientist at the other side. Ivan waved to make him feel comfortable. Sure, he says he does not get claustrophobic, and he can certainly break through the glass without any effort at all -but he was still trusting a complete stranger and giving them the benefit of doubt. Ivan wanted to do everything he can to make him feel comfortable and at home. "Yes," he started off, continuing from Anri's previous comment. "People like The Doctor and I are quite fragile, and there are some who are even more fragile; however, that's exactly why we strive to overcome out weaknesses, don't you agree?" he asked with a grin and started walking leisurely towards the controls alongside his peer. "Some of us train our bodies from the moments they are infants and continue to push them to the limit. And then there are those who train their minds and cultivate their knowledge and understanding of the world. This comprehension, this curiosity to understand everything and anything is what gave way to the manifestation, development, and advancement of technology. Compared to the vast history of the entire universe, most of life -if not all, has only existed for a mere second, and it wasn't until they opened their eyes to the sky above and begun to explore their surroundings that our minds expanded infinitely." Ivan was now staring at the ceiling, his passion clearly visible in the way he spoke, in the way his dual colored eyes glistened with life. "After the moment life evolved and the conscious stood on two legs, technology boomed and now we stand among a civilization created entirely through technology. Life on this piece of rock would be impossible without the advancements we've made in our short existence. Anri, this is why I love technology so much," his gaze lowered to meet the Vennor's eyes, "it gives us weaklings a second chance. It allows us to extend our lifespans, and ourselves throughout the universe, it allows us to defy the laws of natural selection and transcend beyond the boundaries we thought to be our roof."
"Everything is ready, sir," The Doctor announced. Ivan glanced at the Vennor for a sign of approval in case he had been getting second thoughts, if there were no interruptions, he would wave his hand and have his colleague start the procedure. Moments later, the valves of multiple small holes lined at the extremes of the cylinder slide open and a green liquid begins to flood the enclosed chamber and shortly engulf the Vennor to the very top. Next, a bright sensor rolls down the outer layer of the glass chamber and scans over the alien from head to toe and back. The computers gathered data in only instants and compiled them into a single report on Ivan's monitor. The screen displayed various maps of the Vennor's body, demonstrating the different layers and systems of which it was composed. It even described the molecular composition of the Vennor to the last detail. What Anri did not know is that Ivan was checking more than just his health, he was inspecting every corner of the alien's body and the results were astounding. Ivan's eyes widened in awe though he tried to hide it.
"No wonder he's so invincible..." the scientist thought. Not only was 80% of the Vennor's body covered in plated skin, his bone structure was downright amazing, he thought. What could have led to his race evolving to such impressive feats could not yet be determined, but from the stories he had heard thus far, it sounded like they lived in a planet where the conditions are extremely hazardous and dangerous. If Neus wanted him to find some kind of weakness by which they could manipulate the Vennor in the case which he might rebel against them, it would be much harder than Ivan had anticipated. Prognosticating further, Anri revealed himself to be an amphibian race, and the evidence showed clearly with the gills and the data collected on his virtual report; his heart beat was incredibly fast, and as a result, his core body temperature was over 105 degrees. However, this also meant he was probably ectothermic, meaning they depend on sunlight to realize their optimal body temperature. Perhaps, if he were enclosed into a cold chamber, the Vennor could be weakened, or they could release him into the void of space where temperature is erratic and oxygen is not present. On the other hand, it would mean Neus or someone working for him would be able to trick or overwhelm the Vennor into such drastic places.
"Well," Ivan said, "You're right, you definitely have no illnesses..."

"Fragile huh? Sometimes I forget that most other lifeforms didn't grow up in such a place as I did, life there had to work to make it too the top, not saying yours didn't but noting was handed to us, even the world its self seemed to want to extinguish all the life it could. Over time we survived as a race and it made us stronger as a whole. And I would have to agree, the only way to become stronger is to strive and work towards it, whether its from years of training, mental practice or even technology gains, it doesn't matter how one reaches such a point as long as they worked towards the goal without it having been given to them, otherwise nothing will have changed and the person you were before, will still be the person you are, nothing learned and nothing actually gained. Use what is given too you, and craft it into the imagine one sees fit, too the best of your abilities, that is what true strength is. Not the power to crush people with your hands or your mind but the skill to over come obstacles by means of which you yourself or your people have done. The natural law of life suggests that those that are weak will perish leaving the strong and fit to survive, but true strength is measured by not by the gifts you are given but by how you use those gifts. In short, even if your body is weak you can over come anything with a little brain power backing you, and clearly you are on the right track." Anri said as he looked off into the distance as if he was talking to a crowd of on lookers.
At the doctors words Anri gave a small nod, he was ready to get this over and return to the work at hand, and it wasn't as though he had much of a choice in the first place Nesu had stated this was mandatory for the mission, if there was ever going to be a pay out them he had to listen to the man even as much as he disliked the alien. With a small wave of Ivan hand did the process quickly began.
The sudden low hiss of the tank filled Anri ears as the tank pressurized filling the glass tube with a dull roar, keeping the casul look on his face he waited patiently as the green liquid poured in with him. It was an odd feeling that could realy only be matched with being placing feet first into a swamp as the jelish material quickly rose to meet his legs and then up to his torso until his whole body was consumed by the mass. Mentioning before that the Vennor held no issues with swimming through water it was proven true as his body adjusted to the lack of breathable air with his gills kicking into gear it once again became easy for him to breath as the oxygen rich slurry filled his lungs. It was as simple as walking to Anri not even needing to think about what it was that his body was doing, passively controlled like that of his heart beating, not needing to think of the action but his body did it on his own. He couldn't imagine what it would have been like to have to tell his body how to act instead of it seeming to have its own though separate of his own.
Finding that his body was settling into its new environment did he slowly test the material seeing how it would act against the pulls and strains that he could make with his arms. Like he had thought it added much resitance too every small movement he could make but it wasn't anything he couldn't over come with shear force alone, but the limited moving area and the fact that he didn't want to ruin the results kept him from doing anything else, though he was interested in the idea of trying more with the goo once he found a larger area in which he could do so. For now though he kept still, he knew just how sensitive much of the scientific equipment here was and he wasn't about to make some have to spend hours of their time recalibrating it because of his actions alone, such a task was mindless busy work.
Without much in the forms of movement to occupy his time did his eyes wonder over to that of the monitors which the doctor and Ivan peered over vigorously, each of them seem enthralled in what they seeing though Ivan showed more of it than the reptile man. He wondered if the scaly creature had more than one emotion other than the look of grimace he held on his face through most of their encounter. Anri was curious as too what either one of them was thinking, other than the look of awe on Ivan's face it gave little other than excitement too what their real thoughts were up too this point. Having never seen a race such as his before it was the first time anyone out side his world would have looked upon his people with such closeness, even looking at the skeleton structure which appeared on a nearby screen. Even with his alien reading skills lacking a few of the numbers where well enough that Anri could get a basic idea of what they were seeing up too this point. Body temperature, height, weight, everything was displayed on the screens, though not all of it was something he wished to have shared with everyone in the room, luckily it was just the three of them and Anri knew all what his body had within it and what it could do.
At the mention of having no illness Anri gave a quick laugh, even through the liquid that swarmed his open mouth his low pitched laugh penetrated through the glass and into the circular room.
"Well I would hope not, wouldn't want to have picked anything up from around the station. Needless diseases are the last of things I would need as of right now." Though the goo filled his mouth Anri was still able to form the basic speech as if nothing had been blocking his vocal patterns.
Another trait that was not as well known as the rest was the Vennor's amazing abilities to speak under liquid with stunning accuracy, though speak had not come to their people long after they had emerged from the water of their home, it seemed to have been a trait that stuck around, though many did not use it in their modern world. It was just another mystery of life that had been thrust upon them, with the lack of usage though the ability would eventually fade along with many others that used to posses, in time all things would fade from existence.
"Now that we've learned that I'm fine do you think I could get out of here. As much time as my people did spend in the oceans I find that I much rather prefer breathing actual air too his concoction of which I'm currently in." He moved his arms swiftly through the jell.

"You are truly an intelligent man, Anri" The scientist praised. The Vennor proved to be much more exquisite than he could have ever imagined. One could say he was blessed twice as he holds both great power and wisdom. However, Ivan did not believe in the supernatural. He did not find anything uplifting about lowering the value of ones efforts and giving all the glory to an anonymous god who would not show his face to the people he claims to love. Honestly, the scientist was a little jealous of the alien. Ivan's greatest pride was his intellect, it's what made him special, what separated him from the rest and made him shine bright among the stars. Now he finds this Vennor who, not only shares similar strength of mind, but possesses power unlike anything he had ever seen. Even now the alien seemed to mock them as he played around with the incredibly thick liquid as if it were water. Any other being would feel too constrained to move his limbs, that was what the liquid was engineered to do, to stop subjects from fidgeting around so they may perform a proper analysis of their body.
"Yes, Doctor, please release the Vennor from the chamber." The reptile-like being nodded, and by the press of a button the dense liquid drained through the ground below him, where it would become sterilized and cleansed for further use on a different specimen. Promptly after, the glass door would slide open once again and allow the alien to walk out of the cylindrical chamber. The Doctor passes him a towel to dry himself, meanwhile, Ivan was deep in thought. His eyes were slanted on the monitor. What was he supposed to tell Nesu? Would he accept such a response? That the alien had no weaknesses and he was virtually indestructible? The scientist wrenched the thought from his mind so he may ponder it later. Saving their progress, he shuts down the computer so the Vennor would not see the entirety of their investigations. It was clear he had a very keen eyesight. His voice was strong enough to resound throughout the room even though he was completely submerged under that dense liquid. One could only guess how powerful his ears might be.
Suddenly, a loud but short sound reverberated around the enclosed room. "Don't worry, it's just a call." Ivan pressed on a button to answer it.
"Ivan this is Nesu." The voice said, identifying himself.
"Ah, Nesu, we're here with Anri. We just finalized diagnosis of his body. He is truly an amazing species. Fortunately, we have not found any illnesses. He is as healthy as he can be."
"I see." the voice buzzed through the speakers. It sounded like a handful of aluminium foil getting crumpled together.
"To what do we owe the pleasure?"

At Ivan's comment Anri gave off a low chuckle which vibrated the gel inside the tank with the strong sound waves the erupted from his throat, Anri had never though himself as an intelligent person. Compared to others on his world he wasn't an moron just another average Joe that worked in the military, he was just as special as a middle class person working a nine too five job every day of the week. The scientists back home would put his words to shame if they had been here, the only people in the universe that could make him feel like a fool where those Vennor. However that was one thing he wouldn't have to worry about any more, now so far away from his home he wouldn't have to deal with those mocking him for his low intellect, though he was sure that Ivan here could give them a run for their money. With the low muscle mass that could been seen in his clothes he wasn't a fighter and his words had proven that, but his mind was a strong one, the society here was a great one and with just little he had seen they were years ahead of his people back home. It would have been entertaining to watch a debate between a Vennor scientist and Ivan... could probably even sell tickets.
"Thank. Always a complement for someone too tell ya you're smart." He grinned through the green gel, as it washed over his large teeth.
With Anri's question of leaving the tank did the doctor pressed a few buttons as the machine kicked alive once more and the green ooze began to drain away from his body being sucked away down through the pipes which where placed at the bottom of the tank. Having his body floating a few inches off the ground with the buoyancy that his body had did his feet touch back down on the hard metal of the glass tank. Within a few second the gel had all vanish leaving Arni standing there as the glass door slid out of the way exposing him once again to the cool air of the room. He always hated that labs were always kept so cold, though compared to the labs back home it was though he was standing outside in the sun light. With the door way now clear Anri took the lead and step out into the circular room as Ivan held out an towel for him to use, but Anri shock his head at the idea.
"It's alright I've got this one." Anri held his hand out and took a few steps away from the two of them as he spread his feet out apart from one another. Placing his hands closed by his sides did he start to growl as his body began to steam with the evaporation of whatever was left on his body. With the ability to increase his body temperature within a matter of seconds it was an easy task to clear water off of him in a matter of seconds. With the last bit of the goo off him the heat quickly faded from his body as he rubbed his plates looking for any sense of dirt. Even with his eyes paying close attention too his body he caught a flash of light out from the corner of his eyes as he looked up too see that the screens had grown dark, something with him didn't set right but before he could ask Ivan anything about the room began to ring with a loud sound. The sound was similar too the raid sirens they used to run drills too and already he had taken a ready stance as a bright ball of Ki was already charged in his hand ready to strike.
Had it not been for Ivan's comforting words Anri might have launched the attack but he quickly put it at his side realizing that nothing was of a threat.
"Hehe, sorry force of habit." He grinned as small waves of steam escaped out his back side.
Pressing a small button on the man console did the familiar voice of Nesu fade into the room though it sounded as though his words were being tossed through a wood chipper, so much for high tech.... Jumping into the conversation Anri's voice rang out through the room.
"Hey can we get this show on the road already? I do enjoy a good check up by the doctor but time is money not to mention I haven't forgotten what you said before, I'd rather get this over with as quickly as can before something happens too blow this shit to the great beyond."
"In time Anri, in time. In time, everything is coming together right now but a little bit more time is needed. And another note remembering just who it is that your talking too here, I hold all the cards in the deck, so watch your tongue. I own this station, not all of it but enough to make your life hell if I so chose too." His words come out harsh and cold as always, but it was enough for Anri to rethink his attitude towards the man though the hate for the man burned like a star in side his chest, even making thin whips of vapor shoot from his mouth.
"Right... where was I.... yes. The plans are coming to together, I hope Anri is doing well doctor? He will be key in this operation, if he is faulty then everyone suffers... everyone doctor." Nesu put emphasis on the last of his words.
It hadn't been clear enough the past actions of the alien was more than enough to show how he treated failure and it had never been good, people disappearing was the the most common way but things could get much worse depending on just how bad things had gotten. Nesu was not a man too disappoint, work well for him and do a good job then the rewards matched the job, failure though....that wasn't a choice in his eyes. Anri wasn't up to faluire not too impressed Nesu or make him happy, the money was a nice bonus but the only reason he was here in the first place was too protect someone he cared for. There wasn't much Anri had left anymore but those that he didn't he would protect with his life.
Hanging back in the end side of the room Anri was keeping to himself as the conversation seemed too be between the two of them, not wanting to give the man any ideas in which to harm Mika he kept his mouth shut. It wasn't until Nesu spoke too Anri once again that his attention was draw back to the speakers.
"Anri, head into the next room and suit up. You'll find some clothes there those of which match you size perfectly."
"You've seen me right? Clothes aren't really my thing." He scoffed at the idea.
"Do you think burning a bar down isn't my thing?" Nesu responded back light lightning.
Squinting his eyes Anri wanted to grab the man around his tiny throat and wrangle the life from his eyes... but he could not because the man wasn't there but because he was sure Nesu had a back up plan, men like him always did. Hearing the rotating of gear in the wall Anri turned in time too see the nearby wall open up to reveal another room than the ones they had been through before. Not air sealed like the rest it seemed like it wasn't part of the labs like the rest of the area, and by the fact he could seen an assortment of weapons and body armor laying stacked on the walls. Shrugging his shoulders did Anri stride through the new door way and got to work on the finding the clothes Nesu had placed out for him. As Anri was searching the room the door would close slowly on him giving him "privacy" too get dress.
"Good, now that he's out of the way tell me what you learned off him. And worry not the door is thick enough that he won't be able to hear a thing. What are his weaknesses? Strengths? I need to know every thing about him if he decides to turn on me...us."

"...Everyone doctor."
Jackass, the scientist thought to himself. Because Nesu could not see them, his face was free to scowl and grimace to his heart's desire. Nesu was a treacherous and dangerous man. The only reason he had people obeying him is because of the power and influence he possessed. One wrong move can have the wrong people standing at your doorstep and dispose of you and your family. As everyone already knew, Ivan was much to weak to stand up against a man like that and his reputation was on the line. If word of his association to Nesu were to go out, his career would be forever over, the lab would be shut down and he would be locked up along with the other unfortunate souls. The money was great, but it was not worth all the discomfort the man caused. If only Ivan was as strong as Anri he would not have to deal with a man like him, but he isn't and therefore he was stuck with the prick, doomed to vanish whenever the mood strikes. The thought stuck with the scientist. Why is Anri working for this man? By now, the Vennor would know that whatever the guy had to offer was not worth everything he had to go through. The only explanation had to mean that Nesu possessed something of value to the Vennor.
Soon after, another hidden compartment opened at the far side of the room. Ivan's eyes enlarged with utter surprise as he had not known that was there. What else had Nesu done to his laboratory that he had not been aware? His lab, tarnished by a hidden inventory of weaponry. Nesu order the Vennor to go into the room, and although he protested, the man said something which the scientist could not comprehend. Burn a bar down? That's it! He thought. That's how he has the Vennor following his orders. But knowing that didn't really help in anything. Anri left the room and promptly after locked out. "I see," Ivan thought. "That was just a ploy get Anri out of the room so we may speak..." Although the Vennor's ears were powerful, their walls were far too thick. Noise was very disruptive and counterproductive to their research. Their aids would not be able to focus or get accurate results if sounds were leaking from the neighboring rooms. Nesu demanded to know what the scientist had discovered about the Vennor and the thought made his eyes sink to his feet. How could he possibly tell Nesu that Anri was indestructible? Ivan fringed his eyebrows with disapproval and peered at the ceiling.
"Before I do, Nesu, who authorized you to install that wretched compartment within my domain? And how many more perversions have you made to my laboratory? I want no part in this!" The scientist growled.
"Ivan," Nesu responded, "you seem to forget that I own you. Therefore, I own your precious laboratory and everyone within it. I can do whatever I want. Now, because you have worked with us for a long time now, I will overlook your insubordinate behavior, doctor, but let this be the last time you raise your voice to me. Is that clear?"
The scientist lowered his gaze again, any fight that had been left in him washing away.
"What was that?"
"Yes, sir."
"Much better. We wouldn't want Lord Zex to know your affiliation with us, Ivan. Remember your place. Now, tell me about the Vennor."
Ivan walks towards the monitors and turns them on to access the data they had collected thus far. "Strengths," he begins. It was certainly the easiest to explain. "The Vennor comes from a harsh world which forced them to evolve intensively. His body is like nothing I have ever seen. The plated skin covering 80% of his body is similar to steel in terms of endurance. I thought that perhaps the exoskeleton was to protect the fragile insides of his body but then I discovered his astounding bone structure, far too strong for any conventional weapon -and even if they were to be fractured, his cells would patch him up in almost no time. You can try poison, but he has a second stomach which would probably negate its effects. Furthermore, he is amphibious, the Vennor possesses a set of gills which allow him to breath under any substance as long as it contains oxygen. His body filters the liquid, takes what he needs, and then expels the residue, and as if that were not enough, he can control his body temperature in order to adapt to any environment. Unless you somehow manage to overwhelm him in strength, you could entertain the thought of releasing him into the void of space or drowning him in a pool of liquid nitrogen. Even if you attempted to suffocate him with gas, he would just filter it with his gills and take the oxygen he needs. Finally, his eyes are quire formidable, better than anything I've experienced. He can see as clear as glass through water as well as in the dry land. I regret to say that he does not appear to have any outstanding weakness. The only one I can think of are his eyes. With eyes so powerful as his, I suspect they are also sensitive to bright lights. I've heard of fighters who stand in front of the sun and cast blinding light by calling out some kind of enchantment. If you managed to do that, it would hinder him greatly. Other than that, I believe this Vennor is nearly invincible."

Anri had turned quickly too see the door shut being him with the turning of the gears in the wall, something was defiantly going on... but what could have been? Anri didn't trust Nesu any further than he could throw him... well that didn't really work in this case with Anri's strength but in any case there was no trust too be had with him. One of those men that was the slime of the vale looking only out for themselves and taking every opportunity too better themselves without think so much as anything else about anyone else. He wondered just how many people he had killed to get where he was today? Hundreds, thousands? Any thing the man touched was covered in blood so thick it would never wash out, even the greatest fires of the sun that Riva orbited wouldn't be enough to burn the blood which tainted his hands. He was already in control of so much of alpha he wondered just how his power stretched over the hunk of metal... though the more important question was why Ivan and the doctor had begun to work with him in the first place, surely the money wasn't worth working with him? OR maybe he had something on the two of them just as he did on him... what could it be? Was it worth so much too them that they would cast away their morals and dignity too work with such a monster? Then again... the same question could be said about him.
Mika was worth it...and Diagon... they had opened their arms wide open for him and let them into their lives without so much as asking for anything in return, if it had not been for either of them he would have been lost in a strange world without anyone too lean on... Anri used too be the lone wolf of his world, the rebel that needed no one, but seeing with his own eyes just how big the vale was he had quickly learned that help was not always a bad thing, if given, take it, no one wants too be alone out here. In the small part of the vale in which he had seen he had learned it wasn't the best place, full of people waiting to take advantage of a person, and unfortunate as it was Anri had fallen into Nesu's trap. If it was simply himself and the two of them were far away where they could be safe he would tear the man limb from limb with out a second thought but he could only be at one place at a time... even as strong as he was he was still only one Vennor and could only do so much with this strength. For now though... he would wait, eventually the man would be close enough that he could act... though what else might he have in his back pocket? Bombs? Assassins? He was sure the death of the man wouldn't be the end of it, he would have to kill everyone that worked with or for him. Being so new to his ranks Anri had no idea just how deep their loyalties of Nesu's minions ran, if he wasn't careful the mans orders could still be carried out even when he passed. The powerful still had ways to destroy peoples lives even from the grave.
A flash of anger flung through Anri's body as he took his hand and smashed it into the nearby wall making the building shudder with his force as the wall buckled in from the single strike, even the metal seemed to to have turned hot red from the speed of the strike. Steam shooting out from every part of his body did he pull his hand away and hold it with his other looking down at the few pieces of metal stuck in the bone. Anri was beyond pissed but he needed to keep his cool... but doing something and trying to do something were two different things and even being as hot headed as Anri was it was taking as much as he could not to tear the building to sherds. Trying to focus his mind he pictured the face of Mika he found some solace in the fact that she was still ok... as long as he did was he was told then everything would be fine....
Taking a deep sigh Anri began to toss the armor and guns away looking for the clothes Nesu had mentioned and quickly found them sitting on the far side of the room neatly pressed and laid out from him. It wasn't anything fancy a long black shirt with matching pants and a strange looking type of helmet, along with a pair of combat boots. With haste he placed the clothes on his body finding that they fit his body perfectly which came as a shock to Anri, the man had been telling the truth for once, that was new.... Taking the helmet in his hands Anri looked it over closely trying to figure out just how he could put it in, with the translator awkwardly place on the side of his head there was no way he was going to be able to wear both at the same time. Shrugging his shoulders Anri ripped the small ear piece off his body and placed it on a nearby chair as he slipped the helmet over his head, it was a tight fit but it head on well.
"Hello, and thank you for purchasing the TH-10X Nova class helmet, I am your AI. Who may I ask I am addressing today?" A voice came from the ear piece in his helmet.
"Er....Anri."
"Hello Anri, I will be your AI if you have any questions today or in the future. The basics uses of the TH-10X helmet are ten way communication, alien to alien language translator and HUD display for externet viewing, and video messages."
"Great... well thanks."
"Your welcome and as always make sure what you do what Nesu asks." The AI said a rather cheery voice.
The last part sent a flash of anger through Anri but as much as he would have liked to smash the helmet he wasn't sure just how Nesu would react.
----Back in the other room----
The call went quite as Ivan finished his statement of Anri's physical structure; building the tension in the room where it was unclear how the man was going to react too the poor results. The silence was broken as his voice came through once again.
"How...unfortunate. Plans are being made as of right now to set up your suggestions... but if they fail I rest it solely on your shoulders Ivan. The information was not up too my standards, I'm sure you know how I punish those that fail me, correct?"
Nesu wasn't even going to let Ivan answer before the doctor who was near the monitors buckled over in pain as he clenched onto his stomach as he began to go into a coughing fit. Falling onto his side the man began to convulse on the ground with a mixture of yelling and whimper all the while blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.
"Your life isn't the only on the line here Ivan, whatever goes wrong when and if we take Anri out is all on you. And trust me you will wish you were dead. Until then I suggest you get another doctor, one isn't currently bleeding from the inside before this one dies."
And with the last of his words did the door where Anri had stepped through began to open where Anri was already standing awaiting for the door too open. He had half expecting the call to be over by now but he hadn't been expecting the doctor too be on his side bleeding from his mouth. Quickly rushing over too his side Anri bent over to examine him, though he doubted there was much he could really do.
"What happened here?"
"Failure. Failure is what happened Anri. Be quick to learn from a dying man." The cracked voice called out over the speakers.
