So often you hear of headless men; whether they are horrifying monsters or former men, present corpses, punished for some wrongdoing. Rarely though do you hear of just a head; a bodiless man. Why would you? A bodiless man is simply a disembodied head, a being decapitated by some cruel measure of fate. Naitram suffered from some such fate.
When Aer Nin sacrificed herself in her final attempt to destroy the royal family, the Manhunter had been in heated combat with the royal bodyguard and the youngest, full blood, prince. In the mania that complimented the struggle he faced at the hands of these saiyans, he was rendered in quite a precarious position once the final blast occurred.
Robbed of his elixir and a good deal of his strength, his back was too the dome of destruction as it engulfed him. When the rubble cleared he was gone; or so one would think. His signature had evaporated, along with his beloved torso and limbs. Left was simply a floating, disembodied, green head. As the saiyans celebrated their victory and mourned their losses Naitram listed through the skies above what remained of the castle.
With his ungodly ears he heard them bicker and argue; it made him smile. While he pooled his energy to reform his body, little bit at a time, he listened. The voices which most intrigued him were that of Celeh and Leke’s; the only two targets to ever escape the Manhunter’s grasp. Thus far, but he would never yield. Though, despite his thinning sanity, his intelligence was well intact. First he would have to send word, regain his strength, and gather reinforcements.
The Warlock’s favorite ‘project’ was far too loyal to both the Church and its leader to do any less. Hours after the saiyans had finished their insipid talk, if one could call it that, Naitram’s body was fully restored, though his body was still extremely weak. Careful to keep his deeply diminished completely suppressed he levitated into the outer limits of the moon’s gravitational pull. There, cloaked and hidden to all but him, was his personal ship.
It was simple, without ornate designs or frivolous accessories. Only large enough for one; the Manhunter’s preferred method of travel. Uncloaking the ship, it instinctively opened as he approached and he merely sat back as it closed around him. As the inner sanctum came alive, a faint blue glow emitted from various sources. While the healing process had begun he rapidly punched in coordinates.
Setting it to full speed he did not waste another moment as the ship seemingly leapt from existence as it began traveling at a velocity many times faster than light. Leaning back, he closed his eyes as he allowed the healing lights to envelop him as he drifted off to unconscious; his power completely drained.
“Inform the Warlock; the saiyans live to die another day.”
Then he allowed the streaking stars outside his viewing windows to slowly lull him to a slumber his body desperately needed. Though the only dreams that came to him all ended the same; with Naitram kneeling before the leader of the Church of One, presenting the hearts of Leke Hattori and Celeh.

A little over two hours after the War Council had been adjourned the news came to the Queen, the assassin was on the move. The King was indisposed at the moment when the news came as he was in a healing pod. The messenger told the Queen that the military had picked up an unknown ship departing from the surface of the Moon at a high rate of speed and that they were doing all they could to keep him on the scanners. They warned that unless action was taken immediately the assassin would escape into the cosmos and the Saiyans would lose their chance at justice. She instructed the messenger to find Akassa, Ninjin, Celeh and Leke and to tell them to report to the space port immediately. Though the Queen knew that Zeke had in fact left the Moon for Namek she had no intention to call the man back. He was not someone who was adamant about following through on the plan that Tsuyo had laid out and had threatened the Queen’s life via telepathic communication, he was not someone that could be trusted as such he would be left in the dark.
The Queen stood at the spaceport next to a ship that had the sole intention on sending the Saiyan’s force after the assassin’s our vessel with the hope of finding their home world. Though it would be clear that the King was not present the Queen still possessed a higher title and influence than anyone that would be in attendance, even her eldest son. As such at the current moment she was the only one capable of making the calls that were needed to be made. There was still the matter of Nasu Nun possibly returning that she had to take into account since her husband was not quite returned to his full strength yet. He was powerful and would have to be planned for. She could only wait for those to arrive before anything was done.

Akassa’s scouter beeped.
“Princess, please report to the space port at the Queens request.”
The short message was all she receives, but nothing else needed to be said. Having gathered her combat items the Princess was ready to go and by the sounds of it, it was time. Of course this was only an assumption, but a logical one considering that she had been requested to report to the space port…what was left of it anyway. The same order had no doubt gone out to the others as well so that they all could assemble before launching their counter attack on wherever it was Aer Nin and her lackeys had come from.
Having just finished disposing of a member of the traitorous Red Flag mercenary organization Akassa wanted more, wanted to push herself even farther. Although her defeat at the hands of Aer Nin had been embarrassing, the loss of her arm the proverbial icing on the cake, she had gained from it. Her races natural resilience and ability to bounce back from a near death experience with even more power had made her even stronger than she had been less than a day before. Zenkai was a powerful trait of the Saiyan people and although its effect was not as strong in her mixed blood it was more than enough to increase her strength, better prepare her for the inevitable fights that were to come. As it stood she was the strongest of the Hattori family, stronger than even Ninjin and Tsuyo. For most of her life she had been in the shadow of her brother, but in terms of power that was no longer the case. Her father of course could summon more power than her still, but in terms of their base form she was his equal. Perhaps upon her return from this she might finally get the recognition she deserved.
With a slight bend in her legs Akassa launches from the ground, silver aura bursting to life as she rockets towards the space sport. Quickly approaching she found it strange that there was more on her mind than simply thoughts of revenge. Whether it was her loss or the way Natisha had responded to her artificial limb, the Princess wanted more than ever to prove herself, show the power she possessed. This counter attack was going to be an act of defense against what future horrors might come at them from the Universal Church of One, but for her had an ever deeper personal meaning. It was a selfish desire and one that she did not plan to openly admit, but Akassa needed this. For too long she had been thought of as mark on the Hattori name, but that would soon change. When she ripped apart the Church’s home world the Universe would know her name, respect her power.
Realizing she was grinning, the Princess checks her emotions, reminding herself that there was more to this than her own personal goals for she did want to avenge those that had died. She cared for the people of New Vegeta and had put her life on the line several times in her lift to protect them. Akassa was going to prove how powerful she was, but she was also going to give the Church what it deserved for attacking her friends, her family and her home. When she arrived on whatever planet or station the group called home she was going to pay them back and in brutal fashion.
The remnants of the space port quickly came into view along with Natisha’s signature…but not her fathers. Eyes narrowing some the Princess closes on her location then drops towards the ground, catching herself with her bukujutsu right before impact, and then letting her boots touch down gently. The Queen stood next to a ship that looked ready to launch, a small smirk coming to the Princess’ lips as she is even surer her assumption is right. Still sore from before, striking Nasu not having vented even 5% of her anger, she awards a quick solute to the Queen making sure her fleshy arm is the one that presses to her chest. Not sensing any others Akassa knew she was the first to arrive.

Celeh didn't have a scouter like the Princess, and so the message didn't reach her as quickly as it had Akassa. Thankfully, the soldier was already near the space station. She hadn't gotten a chance to relay Zeke's message to Akassa yet, and her plan to lure out the Manhunter hadn't come to fruition either. Everything was progressing far faster than she anticipated. She would need to come up with a new plan and factor in whatever the Royals had called her in for. She didn't rush, but she was still going at a quickened pace above her usual lax flying speed. The soldier didn't land as gracefully as Akassa, something that might attest to the fact that her mind was still in other places...Her feet slid beneath her, causing her to drop to a crouch. She saved the landing by leaning forward and planting her knee as a stopper in front of the Queen, coming to a halt with her fist against her chest in a salutatory manner. "Your majesty." She addressed, merely acknowledging that the Queen had called her here.
Once she'd been given permission to stand, Celeh rose to her feet and dusted herself off. So long as no one was talking, her eyes wandered off toward the sky. Her mind was still searching for answers she couldn't possibly have. What had become of the assassin, why did Zeke suddenly head to Namek, where had Nasu run off to, and why were they sitting in the open in a destroyed space station. The soldier was so focused on her thoughts that she didn't notice her aura was fluctuating gently around her. Her energy's ebb and flow almost looked natural in this state, as though it were like this constantly. She didn't seem to be exerting any effort at all. In fact, she didn't know it was happening. The flow was slow and unrefined, but gentle and with constant ripples cascading up and down her body like tiny waves blown across the surface of a small pond by the wind. Her aquamarine colored energy betrayed her feelings, though. Even with its apparent calmness anyone who could detect even the faintest of emotions from others would know without even looking at her that Celeh was frustrated, confused, and worried. Deep down, though, there was a torrent surging through her. One that would likely not be seen on the surface. She was determined. Beneath all the other issues in her mind, she was intent on succeeding no matter the obstacle that got in her way.
THe soldier didn't think that genocide was the answer, but then...the church didn't seem like they could be reasoned with. And what's more, and entire planet of zealous bigots and murderers was the last thing the galaxy needed. She wondered how other planets would view the saiyans if they obliterated a whole planet's worth of people. Her mind only seemed to run in circles.

“My lord, your presence is requested by the Queen in the space station.” The guard before the Saiyan prince was bowing low as he spoke, a sign of respect to one who was both a general in the Saiyan army as well as the crown prince. Ninjin bid him to rise and sent him on his way. There was no doubt in his mind why he was being summoned. The assassin had slipped up and had gotten himself detected.
The prince made his way to the spaceport, dreading seeing it again. The last time he had been there he had found the remnants of two of his friends and had seen the third, the mother of his child, in near death condition and missing an arm. In fact even flying to the location now and flying over the death and destruction caused by the Universal Church of One brought a pang of guilt and sorrow into the prince’s heart. He still blamed himself. The pang quickly turned into one of anger. The Church would pay.
When he landed he noticed that his sister and Celeh had both arrived before him. He had heard that Zeke Necross went to Namek, the assassin stating that he planned to do so in the council after Ninjin had left. It was an unfortunate loss, but they would not wait for the assassin. If he could somehow make his way to wherever they were going then Ninjin would be grateful for the help, but the planet would likely be destroyed by then…
...The destruction of a whole planet. The thought just seemed wrong to Ninjin. How could he go through with it? How could he not? The church would never stop coming after them, as long as they existed then the Saiyan race would always have a target on its back, and if these attacks had proved anything it was that they were vulnerable to such things. The war raged back and forth between Ninjin’s morals. Somehow this decision would be made, and Ninjin felt it would most likely occur wherever they were going.
Nasu as well couldn’t be there… That was unfortunate… Another capable soldier down. So then it would be he, his sister, his brother, and Celeh. The prince wondered if it would be enough. Sure they were four of the best warriors that the Saiyans had to offer, but the church had shown themselves to have powerful warriors as well. Who knew how powerful the other cardinals were, or this “Warlock” character?
Then a thought dawned on him. Would there even be a coming back from this? If the church was stronger than they would all be killed. If they weren’t then the Saiyans would blow up the planet. Would they be able to get off of the planet in time to avoid it’s destruction?
Ninjin saluted his mother upon arrival and nodded to the others.
“What is the situation mother?”

Three showed up out of the four called. Natisha looked over her shoulder hoping for her younger son to show up however there was no such luck. The mission would have to go forward with the group that was gathered there now, as there was no time to wait for Leke. The Queen turned to the motley crew that represented New Vegeta’s wrath. While to the untrained eye it may appear to be a small force to the entire planet however he oldest son was one of the strongest warriors in the entire Saiyan army, Celeh who only truly owned the title of bodyguard among the royals was as strong as some of the generals now, and even Akassa proved to be a tough warrior. The problem was that this ship was designed for speed and after witnessing the devastation of their home Natisha and the King had made a tough decision.
“We have received reports that this assassin has taken flight in his own ship and fled from our homeland. Our long range sensors are only barely registering the craft the assassin is using in order to make his escape. This ship before you has the ability to keep up with the other ship as its long range sensors are some of the most advanced in the Saiyan armada as it also one of the fastest. Luckily it was able to escape the carnage that met so many before it only the short while ago.” Natisha stated with a wave of her hand.
“The King and I have decided that instead of sending the beleaguered Saiyan army that we instead will send a small force that is capable of devastating the Universal Church of One. As such we have decided to send Ninjin and Celeh on this mission. Ninjin possesses enough power to perform the task of removing the Universal Church of One from the universe and Celeh has proven to be more than a capable to defend Ninjin as the deed is done.” Natisha paused as she knew the next part of the order would not be one that was well received. “Akassa your father and I have agreed that you will stay on New Vegeta in its defense to make sure that the Universal Church of One does not attack again. You are also needed to ensure that Nasu Nun does not return in an effort to kill the King until he is fully recovered.”
She knew that Akassa would protest but frankly the princess needed to do as ordered. She was needed on New Vegeta to defend it on top of the fact that the glory of taking vengeance on the Universal Church of One should belong to full blooded saiyans, not mutts. She would reside on the Moon while her brother left.
“You all have your orders. Ninjin and Celeh are to leave immediately in an effort to keep the assassin within your sights. Akassa is to remain on New Vegeta in order to properly defend the Saiyan homeland. The time for talking is over and the action is nigh.” The Queen commanded before adding one final comment, “Ninjin do what must be done. Eliminate the planet and make not only your family proud but make your race proud.”

Soon after her own arrival Celeh arrived, the soldier receiving a nod from the Princess to acknowledge her quick response time and the respect the Princess had for her. With so much going on Akassa regretting not having spent more time with the Saiyan since their return to New Vegeta. Although assigned as her bodyguard the two had been separated from each other for the entirety of the attack on their home, but even without the powerful Princess at her side Celeh had found a way to make a difference. There was a definite disparity in strength between the two of them, but their resolve was equally strong. As Celeh saluted the Queen in much more formal fashion that she had Akassa couldn’t help but wear a small smile. She did not count many beyond the royal family as close allies, but Celeh was definitional one.
Strangely enough the only other warrior to answer the call was her eldest brother Ninjin, Leke and Ezekiel nowhere to be seen as Natisha began to speak. The Princess found it odd that Leke had not shown up, but remembering how he had lingered on Alpha Prime long after the tournament she realizes it was not out of the ordinary for him. As for Ezekiel…she had no idea where he had gone either. During the war council he had offered so much advice and formulated several ideas about how they might proceed, yet was not present. That frustrated her, he had a responsibility to show up and head out with the rest of them. Soldier or not it was his duty to defend their home.
Luckily it was able to escape the carnage that met so many before it only the short while ago.”
Akassa couldn’t help but grin at the news, more than ready to take the fight to the Church’s doorstep. As the Queen started to explain the plan of not sending the whole Saiyan army, but a select fighting force she starts to nod. However, that motion stops as Natisha names Ninjin and Celeh alone.
“Akassa your father and I have agreed that you will stay on New Vegeta in its defense to make sure that the Universal Church of One does not attack again. You are also needed to ensure that Nasu Nun does not return in an effort to kill the King until he is fully recovered.” For a moment her mind went blank, unsure of what she had just heard. Mind tripping over itself the Princess spoke without thinking.
”You cannot be serious.” The words flowed from her mouth before she even realized she was saying them, the emotion that came with the order not allowing her to restrain herself. It was an order, one directly from her father…even if Natisha had been the one to deliver it, and she was questioning it. ”That is not fair…I defended my home just like they did, even lost an arm to ensure its safety and I get no chance at vengeance all because of some conniving traitor?!” Her voice began to rise as she spoke, Akassa breathing a little heavy as she struggled to comprehend the fact she was going to be denied the revenge that was rightfully hers.
The Princess looked to Ninjin and Celeh as if asking for support in her argument, but shouldn’t have expected it. Having one of them stay on New Vegeta made perfect since from a tactical stand point, but why did it have to be her? ”I am the strongest one here! I should not be the one to remain behind.” Eyes shifting back towards Natisha she couldn’t restrain herself from glaring at the woman. She began to wonder if this was truly what her father had wanted, the Queen perhaps taking advantage of the fact that he was currently indisposed to punish Akassa yet again. The half-saiyan had not forgotten the smirk at her expense hours before.
”This is your doing…you are trying to deny me what is mine by keeping me here.” Thinking selfishly, with her temper rising like during the war council, Akassa’s hands clench into fists. Head snapping back to Ninjin she again attempts to gain his support. He would support her, he above all else had seen how hard she had tried to defend New Vegeta, the blood, sweat and tears she had put into her fight with Aer Nin. Surely he would support her, back up her desire to take her revenge on the Universal Church of One.

Akassa's temper flared from that news. Celeh had anticipated such to happen the moment the Queen uttered those words. Still, it wasn't the soldier's decision to make. And, in truth, she believed it to be an impossible decision. Of course, she wasn't taking into account the Queen's bias, but that probably made the overall decision easier. The soldier did what may have been both the boldest and wisest choice she could have made in this situation. She stepped between the queen and Akassa and moved closer to her friend, looking her in the eye as she spoke. "Listen to me, Akassa. I don't like this decision either, but we don't have time to argue about who's going to go where. In a short few minutes our only ticket to finding their home planet may be nothing more than a fleeting shadow on our radar." She took a breath and continued... "If you calm down and think about this for a moment you'll realize that this is an impossible decision with no true correct answer. If I stay behind I may not be strong enough to protect what's left of our home and the king himself. It wouldn't be right for Ninjin to stay behind either, because he's been fighting the Church longer than anyone else. He knows them better than anyone. And it isn't right for you to stay behind either, because you've put more into this fight than I have. It's also not right that the heir to the throne should have to risk the future of our people on his shoulders by rushing in with a single soldier as his backup. Do you understand what I'm saying, Princess? This isn't about pride or who's right or wrong. The best thing you can do is what a soldier would do. And I'll do the same even though I don't agree with it. Follow your orders...and protect your father, the King. At this point, you may be the only one that'll be left on New Vegeta that can."
As she turned to walk toward the ship she looked over her shoulder, "Trust me and believe in me, Akassa. I'll come back with your brother, Prince Ninjin...or not at all. That's a promise." She paused again as she remembered something, "By the way, Zeke told me to tell you that he had to make a trip to Namek for something. He didn't say what. He may return to help at some point, but I wouldn't count on it as an absolute for certain." She then fell silent after her oddly stern and compassionate speech. It wasn't the wisest idea to disagree with the Queen right in front of her face, but none of them had time for such pleasantries. The soldier went onto the ship with what she had on her, little more than her repaired body armor and a few odds and ends. She knew when Akassa had time she'd probably get a good thrashing for this. And the Queen may have punishment for her yet, especially if this mission failed or Ninjin got injured on her watch. Still, this wasn't exactly a time to be contemplating the consequences of risks. This whole battle plan was one big gamble. If they attacked New Vegeta again while Ninjin was away and Zeke wasn't around, Akassa would surely be overwhelmed if they attacked in the same level of force as before. She was strong, but so many powerful fighters at once would be too much even for her...Or so Celeh thought.

Doing bullet points because I still don't have Internet at my new place.
• Ninjin agrees with Akassa, telling his mother that she should be allowed to take his place. She is the stronger of the two and desires the revenge greater than he.
• Ninjin would praise Celeh for her wise words.
• More internal conflict about the destruction of a planet.

Celeh knew how to speak in the presence of the Queen; she was demonstrating more etiquette than she had in the past. Surely she would go places after the successful raid on the Universal Church of One planet. The King’s half breed mutt of a daughter could take a lesson from the young soldier as she verbally berated the Queen as if she had something to do with the princess staying. In truth she did but it was not as malicious as Akassa was making it out to be. The fact of the matter was that New Vegeta needed protection and it only made sense for the strongest to stay based on the current state of the military. There was also the fact that all the glory should go to her son for leading the charge.
“Our decision is final. Your father and I have talked this over very carefully. We feel that based on your father’s current condition it is only fitting that the strongest remains on New Vegeta as a deterrent to not only the Universal Church of One attacking again but our other enemies as well. Surely they will seize on this moment and take New Vegeta as their crown jewel if it came out that it was left defenseless with your father weakened.” Natisha stated calmly to the raging Saiyaness. Even in her enraged state Akassa would see the logic in this. The young royals had been close minded as to the outside world and other factors. Something that her son would have to see if he sat on the throne. The big picture was much more complicated than one issue at a time.
“Ninjin, it was decided in the war council that you would lead the charge on the Universal Church of One’s planet. You know the most about the Church and after Akassa you are the strongest of our race. Celeh had proven to be a formidable fighter herself so she will be able to aid you. Do we wish the circumstances were better? Yes. But we must deal with what we have. Now Ninjin you must go otherwise we will lose track of the assassin.” The Queen stated with a sense of urgency. Now was not the time for her son to be trying to play equal brother and drag his mutt of a sister along. “Your ship has encrypted communication that only the palace has as it is of the highest level we can achieve. Do not receive any communications other than from New Vegeta. If you do your cover will be blown and your lives will be in grave danger. Now go before it is too late.” The Queen would state with a quick movement of her hands to try and get her son to move. “You must do what is necessary. Do your family proud. Do your father proud. Do your race proud. Destroy the planet and exact the justice that the Universal Church of One so richly deserves.”

The last of the three that Akassa expected to speak was Celeh, and especially not in the way that the soldier did. In the past the female had expressed herself rather bluntly and on occasion even a little inappropriately considering she was talking to a Princess, but Akassa had been fine with it, the two of them having a kinship from the start. Despite all of that the words she spoke now did little to calm the stronger of the two women, Akassa’s eyes narrowing as Celeh went on about how it was not fair that she had been the one selected to stay. Yet in the same breath she said it made the most sense, Ninjin’s experience with the Universal Church of One and Celeh’s inability to defend New Vegeta properly making Akassa the best choice. Under normal circumstances the Princess would have appreciated the promise to protect her brother whether it is by Celeh’s life or her death. With the mood she was in it though the honest words fell on deaf ears, the mention of Ezekiel’s trip to Namek something Akassa could currently care less about.
While the female soldier had caught her off guard by backing the Queen’s decision Ninjin surprisingly sided with Akassa, at least it seemed that way at first. He proposed that the Princess take his place, but then praised Celeh for the logic she had pointed out before, logic Akassa did not want to see. Regardless of her brother’s words Natisha was quick to shut the idea down, making it quite clear that the King and her had made up their minds. Again she made sure include Tsuyo as part of the decision, knowing full well that it carried much more weight if it was what the King had decided than just the Queen herself.
Akassa couldn’t believe this. She had given so much, valiantly defended her home in a fight that no other on the planet had the strength to handle and yet she was the one being told to stay behind. What did it matter how much Ninjin knew about the Universal Church of One when the order was to obliterate it? Fighting was what Akassa knew best and that is what this mission focused around, combat. Her mind race to find the right words, something to counter the Queens statement about the decision being final, but she could not come up with anything that carried more weight than a Kings order.
Still furious the Princess snorts in disgust at the whole situation. Giving the Queen one last glare before her aura ignites and she launches into the air, wanting to remove herself from the area before someone else received the same treatment Nasu Nun had. Without another word, not even a good luck to Celeh and Ninjin she leaves. Of course deep down she hoped for their safety and eventual return to New Vegeta, but her pride just wouldn’t let her say it. Quickly accelerating after she shoves off the ground Akassa was gone from the spaceport in seconds, not even sure where she was heading. If her father hadn’t been regaining his strength in a healing tank she would have gone to plead her case to him, but he couldn’t be disturbed. With no fight to look forward to and with no one with enough sense to hear her out the Princess had no way to vent the rage that burned within her. (Zeni please)
