Ichi....Ni...San....Shi...Go...Roku....Shichi....Hachi....Kyu....Ju Ichi
Kit fell from the pull up bar with a vengeance. It had been his tenth set and he was feeling good, or as good as he could feel. His mid section burned as his bar sit ups had taken their toll on the teen. Never would Kit be in better shape, and would have done even more repetitions had his weights not been eating at his muscles. The twenty-one year old was top of the dojo and had been for over two years after his elder brother broke his arm. Really it had been Kits doing, and as bad as he felt having dethroned his own brother, he couldn't help but feel the pride that came along with that victory. His other siblings were now constantly at his heels, and in most cases that was a good thing.
Kit had always been humble, so this newly acquired fame was getting to him in a way he hadn't ever felt before. His body was more toned than ever, and the small chin strap of blonde hair across his face was the first sign of his victory over his predecessor. Facial hair was reserved for the top of the class, as it was a sign of a teacher. Kit, however, was no teacher. While the position was technically his, his brother still taught the classes. While Masamune had tried to reason with the young adult, the man was more focused on his own training than that of others. Besides all that, he intended to one day attempt the world tournament, so why start training others when his own prime had yet to be fully discovered.
"Kit thats amazing, I hope one day I can do ten of those!"
One of the younger brothers, a boy of about fourteen, had chimed in his support, followed by a few of the other boys who had been training alongside him. The fan club was a welcomed addition to his training regiment and actually gave him the energy to push himself even further. Looking around at his fellow brothers, doing push ups, ripping apart the punching bags, and attempting the same number of sit ups, Kit couldn't help but feel impressed with himself. Grabbing the teens shoulder and shaking him slightly Saito smiled.
"You will one day Shoji. Strength not only comes from effort, but also from age!"
The other boys laughed a bit, and one even questioned what it would be like for one of the youngers to challenge him. The words were lost in a sea of other comments, but the boys thoughts were not to far off from the days events. As infinitely unstoppable as Kit felt, there was someone in the school that would take him down a peg. Perhaps not by beating him in a fight, but reminding him that with great power comes the responsibility of using it correctly.

Among those gathered for the day's exercises was a certain, precocious, blue haired boy, his underdeveloped frame already slick with sweat as he pumped out pushups just outside the main body of students. Even at only ten Ethan was fiercely independent, having not yet bonded with any of his brothers or sisters, not even yet to Kit. As far as the boy was concerned, his blonde older brother wasn't anything special, just older and maybe stronger, maybe. He never really considered fighting the older kids before, at least not until one of the others commented about it. The others knew they would likely fail in the attempt, but Ethan, Ethan was invincible, at least he thought so. Almost every fight he'd had with students his age he'd won and the few that he didn't were either so far in the past that he couldn't remember them or his opponent won on a silly technicality. Ethan was also the black sheep, the only child born so far with blue hair, he was a regular target but always managed to come out on top. Today was no different as no sooner then had one boy pondered aloud about challenging Kit, then another pointed to the blue haired child, finishing up another set of pushups and called out.
"Yeah, hey Ethan should do it!"
The sudden mentioning of his name drew the boy's attention to the group and what ever he'd been silently distracting himself with as he worked out. Fully half of the preteen class was already chanting for Ethan to step up, something the boy couldn't possibly refuse. True, they probably all wanted to see him get his butt kicked, but a challenge was a challenge, even if it was being made by proxy. Standing up, the shirtless boy stepped forward, wading into the throng of students until he arrived on the other side, the hole in the group closing up after him. He looked up at the pull-up bar Kit had been doing his inverted sit-ups from and then to the other students trying to execute the same exercises and then finally looked to Kit's ripped form and then his own. Proportionally their shoulders were the same size, taking into account Ethan's smaller stature, arms and legs less so, the boy still being lanky from a recent growth spurt. The ten year old's chest wasn't nearly as defined as Kit's, nor anywhere near as larger proportionally and finally where Ethan was a little disappointed, unlike his brother, not a single abdominal muscle shown through on his diminutive frame, only the slightest hint of the separation running down the middle. That wouldn't stop him though, he didn't need abs to be faster then his brother, his speed was more then enough to ensure a victory over any of his other opponents so this time shouldn't be any different.
"Kit!" the blue haired boy called out loudly enough for anyone who'd not already heard the chanting to notice. "Let's do this!" the boy challenged his older brother, not needing any more context to his words other then the chanting which was now dying down. Ethan raised his fists and assumed a boxing style stance, his arms held high because of Kit's greater stature. The boy's legs bent and he danced from one to the other, throwing mock punches to further entice his older brother to take his challenge seriously.

Ethan Ethan Ethan
The chanting was specific and confusing, mostly because Kit had literally never heard the name Ethan before. Why would they be chanting for a stranger? When the blue haired boy stepped up onto the arena it all became clear. Kit searched his mind for a moment, watching the kid put on a show, throwing punches with a devilish smirk. The blue hair told him who he was, the some of the Central woman. While all of the other mothers, including Kits, had been found around the mountain range, and were all village raised country folk, Ethan's mother was known for being the only one from the big city. Unfortunately this actually made for some jokes that were out of poor taste regarding her sleeping around. It likely wasn't true, but the other boys automatically assumed a blue haired city girl was nothing less than a hooker. So it was understandable that her son would get a similar title, not as a whore but as the whores son. That said, Kit had never physically met the kid, he spoke about him only to engage in the conversation. Hearing the name and seeing the distinctive blue hair told him exactly who he was dealing with. Funny, you live in the same four walls as someone for ten years and don't really register their existance.
With a hundred different artists training in the same building it wasn't completely unheard of for them to not exactly know each other, but now that they did there was no reason not to spar. Giving a little chuckle he nudged the other teen off the stage, and took a step back up onto it. If the little boy wanted a fight, he would get one. He flexed for a moment, responding to Ethan's physical taunts with his own. Then he looked out at the crowd who had stopped chanting and now almost sounded as though they were holding back laughter. It was quite a site. Ethan was significantly shorter than his brother, and his body wasn't nearly as developed. It was normally customary for warriors to fight in two classes, the lower class was for warriors whom had just started their training, or weren't yet through puberty. The upper class was reserved for warriors who passed both the physical examination and coming of age. In other words boys were not upper class, men were.
"Alright kid give it a go!"
He said, raising his arms up into the air as if he were legitimately going to fight the kid. Their power levels were so significantly spread that even with the heavy weights still attached to his body, he would still have a sizeable advantage, and because neither knew about their ability to unlock almost double their power, or use any resemblance of Ki, they would be focusing on physical hand to hand combat. Just as it should be.

Still tossing out mock punches and generally being a goofy show off, Ethan slowed ever so slightly when Kit not only accepted his challenge, but tensned up his considerable musculature seemingly just for the little blue haired boy's benifit. All at once Ethan bacem aware of just how big the disparity in their size was and might have even started to regret it, of only for a moment. No, he wasn't going to back down, not after issuing the challenge and most cirtainly not that it had been accepted. Kit could flex and grunt all he wanted, Ethan was sure he was faster, he didn't need muscle, just enough speed to keep ahead of his older brother.
Making hs way around and up onto the stage, although it really was more like a ropeless boxing ring in the boy's eyes, Ethan stoped on the side opposite his older brother and faced him. He kept his arms up and started to move, dance really, making small circles in place. While not as supremely viersed in all of the martial arts, Ethan knew the basics and his favorite one was boxing, good, old, classical boxing. His footwork was actually superb for a boy of his age as was evident by the way he now bounced about waiting for Kit to approach. The boundless energy of the ten year old would no doubt serve him well as he planned to circle the blonde and pepper him with punches, such was Ethan's plan for the entirety of the fight, a plan that befitted the inexperianced mechinations of a boy his age. As the blue haired boy danced about waiting for his brother's approach, he held his arms firm and ready, fists clenched high and facing each other, spaced just far apart enough for him to see in between.

The boy was prancing about, and it was really off putting. Kit had fought a number of his brothers, but Ethan was the first to so flagrantly ignore his training and instead choose a fancy boxing style stance. The choice was a surprise, so it had that going for him, but did the boy think it was going to be an effective way to fight. Kit decided if he didn't start the fight, then his brother wasn't actually going to throw a real punch. The show boat had been throwing mock punches for almost a minute as the other brothers watched, waiting for the first blow. Exchanging punches wasn't what this was about, and as Ethan moved in for another fake punch, Kit tried to catch him off guard, throwing an open palm out and up in order to knock the boys arm into the air, and then with his right fist come in for the first punch, one right to the ribs.
He wasn't going to continue with any combination of attacks, he wasn't trying to kill the boy. He only intended to give him a little bruise and send him crying to mom. Kit would be surprised if the rib punch wasn't enough to do that. The boy had been moving pretty quickly though. Kit took a moment to admire the young boys agility, as it was higher than most of the junior division kids he trained with. It was too bad that the boy didn't have the age and training to back it up. Perhaps in another match in later years that speed would come in handy for a good even brawl. The thought wasn't completely out of the question. Look at Masamune. The old man had nearly lost to Kit once before. It had been a loss on his part, but he knew with a little more effort he could best the old man, and if he could beat masamune, there was no reason someone else couldn't rise up to beat him.
Today however it was simple. Ethan was a little boy. He had little muscles, little hands, a little body, and little fighting experience. It simply wasn't going to happen. He didn't stand a chance against his older brother, with or without his weights.
"Come on kid, is that it?"
He antagonized his brother, pushing for the kid to stop showing off and start doing something substancial. For his sake he really needed to do something fantastic.

As Ethan danced left and right, close enough to finally hit his older brother, the blonde lashed out with an attack that was fast enough, or perhaps rather simply sneaky enough to surprise even him. Kit's left hand swished by Ethan's field of vision and in that instant the boy felt the warmth of Kit's palm pressed up against his left elbow. Another instant later the blue haired boy realized his left arm was being carried out and up. Acting as quick as he could to try and capitalize rather then defend, Ethan launched his right hand forward a jab to wards Kit's midsection, left unguarded on his left side by the blonde's attack. The little pre-teen didn't even have time to connect however as Kit's right fist slung down and barreled into his equally unprotected ribs, impacting just under the underarm.
"Oooooogh!" Ethan yelped as his body folded unnaturally to the side, his legs lost their footing and he stumbled back a good five feet before collapsing to his knees. Ethan sat there, choking from the impact, rocking back and forth on his knees with his right arm wrapped around his middle for a good thirty seconds, as Kit taunted him. His side burned like never before, his breath was short and his face was red with the heat of unadulterated embarrassment. Grunting with each breath, the blue haired boy cursed Kit's huge size and his sneaky attack. He was determined not to just give up though and in spite of the throbbing in his side, Ethan stood back up. His gaze narrowed on Kit's and his brought his fists back into their previous position, this time however held much more rigidly, Ethan wasn't going to make the same mistake twice and hold his guard as loose as he'd done before. In his determination to keep from making that mistake however the boy made another in forgetting his footwork. Rather then dancing about the older blonde, Ethan rushed strait forward and once within range, tried to do what he'd failed to before, level a right jab strait into Kit's abdominals.

A direct hit. Ethan took to the ground, which made kit feel a tad guilty, he was reminded after all that this was his kid brother. He had younger brothers, but this one was in fact a kid. While he was on the ground, making very little noise after the first initial impact, Kit had thought he was down for the count. Most boys ethan's age would never have taken a hit like that and gotten back up from it. But Ethan did. They boy was clearly holding in the pain, not wanting to embarrass himself in front of his siblings. His siblings however had for the most part stopped cheering. A few, out of concern for Ethan, remained silent, suddenly thinking this wasn't a good idea. Another good portion laughed as the boy stood back up, pleased that their entertainment hadn't died down. Kit, who still didn't want the responsibilities attached with being a teacher, couldn't help but compliment his brothers form.
"Much better, a solid stance. Almost makes you feel like you stand a chance right?"
He hadn't intended to be condesending but the comment definitely came out that way. That was why he wouldn't make a good teacher. The boy was actually using a real stance now, one that Kit remembered from his days in the junior league. This legs were firm and ready to advance, one hand stayed back to defend while the other prepared to attack. It was one of the easiest methods to teach a child, and so it was unsurprising that Ethan had picked it up. Kit retaliated with his own stance, this one he liked to call the stance of the rattle snake. His left hand held out high and to the right. This would actually leave his chest and mid section open for attack. That however was the trick of the rattle snake. His left hand, much like a sumo position, had his palm facing out, fingers curled. This meant that when the opponent drew in to attack the vulnerable area, the appendage that struck out would be pushed upwards by the open palm, and from there the hanging right hand could come down for a powerful blow to the head. Really it was the attack one would use on a street fighter who couldn't think more than one step ahead in combat. Ethan was better trained that that, and on top of that was his brother so a concussion would not play well for either of them. For that reason Kit aimed for Ethan's chest.
When the power struck out to hit his abdomen his left hand shot up to hit the boys fist. The second hand, wasting no time extended out to Hit Ethan in the chest. Rather than a customary fist, Kit used the palm of his hand, effectively hitting him with the palm and then forcefully pushing him backwards. A punch would have hurt far too much and on top of that could have broken bones in someone so undeveloped. It wasn't Ethan's fault, he was just a child, and Kit responded as such, not wanting to hurt the boy too much.
This would prove to be his downfall, as he now assumed that the push had been enough to knock Ethan down for good. Kit turned to look out the crowd, some still laughing and cheering, others now seriously concerned about Ethan's chances of walking out of the ring without a broken bone. Kit spoke, trying to sound as humble as possible.
"Come on now, enough of that. Don't laugh at the boy. I don't see any of you trying to face this much awesome!"
Quite the young adult comment. Kit extended his left arm out and up, and flexed for the group of boys watching. Now was Ethan's chance to capitalize on Saito's ultimate flaw, his showmanship.

As Ethan barreled in he nearly missed Kit's comment about his stance but the meaning was clear, at least the meaning that Kit didn't intend. The comment came off just as condisending as it counded and only furthered Ethan's desire to strike his older brother. The blonde though had other plans and was indeed much more equipt to execute them. Just as the blue haired boy launched his jab, Kit's left, a moment prior being held in some rediculous position, came swiping by and knocked the boy's punch aside. Ethan had no time to back away and pull his arm back in before Kit's opposing palm exploded into his chest with a hollow sounding 'THUD.'
Just like in their previous exchange, Ethan stumbled back and collapsed to his knees, gasping from the impact that had just radiated through his upper body. The boy was covered in sweat now as his right hand clutched at the point of impact and his left was occupied with holding him up, else Ethan would have been face down on the stage. It took a few moments for his lungs to start working again, those same few moments Kit used to turn to the crowd and gloat. Oh how the blonde was sizzling Ethan's bacon, all he wanted to do was land on punch, on good punch, maybe even give him a bloody nose just to show him he wasn't mister all-star. Twice now in their only two exchanges so far Kit had dropped Ethan to his knees with but a singe punch and the boy was tired of it. Perhaps there was something to being as big as Kit was, but his ego was what was agrivating Ethan now. Had Kit not acted like the jerk he was and maybe helped the boy back up, Ethan might have admitted that size did matter, but not now, now all he wanted to do was hit his older brother and that ego of his seemed to be providing a perfect window of opportunity.
Lifting his head up and pulling in a gasping breath, Ethan could see Kit posing for their audiance, showing off those prized muscles of his. He must have been pretty sure the fight was over, for any normal boy Ethan's age it would be, but Ethan was far from normal. He was in pain and could barely breath, but he was going to press on, he wasn't going to give up, not ever. With Kit's back still turned to him, the blue haired boy hauled himself back to his feet and stumbled forward at first but then broke into a run. Kit was wide open from behind and Ethan was going to take full advantage. First he'd take the giant off his feet and then pund the living daylights out of him before he could react. Running full bore at his older brother, Ethan ducked into a ball just as he reached the blonde, the aim being to smash into the backs of his legs and take them right out from under him. Kit would with any luck end up flat on his back and with a bit more luck, dazed from the sudden change of position. Ethan would further capitalize on this be using his continued forward momentum to roll up onto his feet and then would reverse direction, taking a short hop to land atop his brother, legs strattling him at the hips. From ther the devistation would begin, one punch after another Ethan intended to rain into Kit's upper stomach, intending to take away any advantage his muscled abs might give him by pounding that soft spot all of his brothers and even he seemed to have. After this fight, provided the blonde even wanted to speak to him, he'd have to ask about that spot.

While Kit had been serious in asking his brothers to stop all the laughter, he couldn't help but milk them for a little more attention. He had not yet learned the virtue of being humble, why would he need that? He was the strongest, even stronger than his older brother. He was convinced that given a little more training he could even beat their father, which was no easy task. His father remained undefeated since his days as the WMAT which meant that the only chance he had to be defeated was by one of his son's. Saito was just the son to do it! His older brother Mica was good, but he lacked the ability to train as well as Kit could. Where Mica would give up after the first two hours, Kit would go on for the entire day. Mica also refused to wear the weights that Kit always kept attached to his body. Even while fighting Ethan the weights were glued to his wrists and ankles. This ensured that every movement he made was roughly eighty pounds heavier. Each limb was weighted by the twenty pound bracelet (Little did he knew this would be replaced with hundreds of pounds when he became older). Either way this was equivilant to his strength at the time, and would play an important role in what happened next.
Ethan was not as slick as he thought, and his movements on the hollow boxing stage were not stealthy. In fact the boy even standing up gave enough of a noise for Kit to know he was up and ready to go again. Yet still the man took his time, knowing his kid brother was hardly going to be a challenge for him. Twice he had fallen victim to very simple tricks, and thrice he would before fights end. If he was foolish enough to even try it. What Kit failed to understand was that his brother was the fool he thought him to be. Having taken two attacks that directly would have made even Ethan's older siblings cringe, the child was going for a third, and for the first time in the fight would bring Kit to the ground. It was an illegal move in official matches to hurl your entire body at the back ends of the opponents legs, but they were hardly following regulations. In this fight anything goes as Ethan proved by smashing into Kits legs. Perhaps Kit could have salvaged his performance from there by stepping several times. That was not the case as the heavy weights on his body encouraged the fall and forced Saito down with an inertia far greater than he could supercede. Landing firmly on his back allowing for a loud thud to echo across the hollowed flooring of the stage, Kit looked up just in time to see his baby brother jumping on his hips. Again, illegal to hit a man while he was down, but Kit expected no less. He may have even remarked that Ethan should go all out so it was understandable that he would waste none of his available resources.
Kit fought hard not to wince as two of Ethan's punches made contact with his stomach. Although they weren't very strong, they were in a good place. He wondered if the boy knew he was hitting such critical area's. Unfortunately Ethan would be unable to test his theory about the birds and the bee's being able to bring great pain to gentlemen, as Kit would do something rather drastic. He couldn't let Ethan stay on top of him, the crowd was already surprised that the blond stud was on the ground taking the punishing blows. So in order to get the boy off Kit displayed his final form for the night. It was a style from Muay Thai and was optimal for his positing. Ethan had left Kits arms free to maneuver, and so the man would thrust his arm forward to hit the boy, but would not use his open palm or even fist. Instead he would use the tip of his elbow to small into the boys tiny nose.
The elbow made contact instantly, and there was no doubt in Kit's head that it hurt. First of all he did it hard enough to ensure that the boys body would be physically torn off of him, and secondly he heard the most disturbing noise of all. A very loud crack, or perhaps a snap that let Kit know that he didn't just hit the boy, he probably broke something. Pulling his own elbow back, and sitting up to look over at his brother, he couldn't help but suddenly feel a very deep guilt. Ethan was undoubtedly seriously injured now, and that had never been his intent. He let the boys incessant attacks get the better of him, and now he had to witness what he had done to the child that was eleven years his junior.

(Ethan has asked me to complete this thread as he is having trouble coming up with a solid post, the following bunnying is done with his advisement.)
Ethan hit the ground, his back making a hard slap against the concrete floor. The shock had kept him from experiencing the initial pain of the impact. His nose was undoubtedly broken, and now although he couldn't see it, blood was pouring from it. Soon enough he would taste the metallic blood running down his lips and onto his shirtless boy form. He was only a boy and had experienced his first major injury. His brother had hit hard enough to nearly knock him unconsious, but unfortunately he was very much awake. After a few moments on the ground, and the crowd silencing themselves in the tension of the moment, he suddenly felt the pain of what had occurred. It rushed to him all at once, his eyes closing hard, and tears forming in them. Ethan wasn't a crybaby, he never really cried unless it was in the privacy of his bedroom, but even the greatest warrior can't protect their body from the natural reaction that takes place when the nose is injured. Once the initial tears took place he couldn't help but let out a deep moan. His hands rose up to protect his face, muffling the groaning. It was still loud enough to hear from the next room over, and with blood now even seeping through his fingers the boy was clearly in trouble.
Kit's eyes widened, he hadn't intended to hurt the boy this badly. Yet his body was frozen. He was immediately ashamed of his decision. No matter how annoying Ethan was, or how confident Saito was, there really wasn't an excuse for that level of brutallity. It hadn't been entirely on purpose. Though Kit knew what an elbow to the face would do to a person he hadn't intended it to be so messy. He just wanted to pop the boy and put him in his place...then again where was his place? Suddenly the pride of Kit's strength was drained, instantaniously replaced by devastating shame. He had hurt a child in a way that was truly unacceptable, and if that wasn't bad enough, the mothers were entering the room. Three of them to be exact. Ethan's mother was not among them thankfully, as Kit would have found it difficult to look the woman in the eyes after harming her child. Ethan was rolling from side to side slowly, his moaning turning more into crying now. It wasn't that the boy was weak, any child of ten would have done the same long before their nose was broken. Ethan had proven stronger than any of his brothers, and braver too. The ladies began shaming Kit, telling him that he was being inappropriate, asking him if he had lost his mind. Really the man didn't know. He was twenty one years old and had not only accepted a ten year olds challenge, but practically killed him. Kneeling down through the berating he watched as one mother removed the boys hand and began wiping away the blood with a white cloth. Ethan opened his eyes, he was clearly embarrassed. He had never intended to cry in front of his brothers. Kit could see it, but he wondered which of the two of them was more humiliated. Saito was appauled by his own behavior, and though Ethan may not have known it, their fight had changed Kit's soul for the better.
"Hey kid, next time i'll show you how to block that elbow okay?"
Empty words. As one woman came back with a small stretcher they pulled the boy off the stage. He had tried to resist but the mothers were too insistant and so Ethan was removed to the medical area. Saito stood back up and once the boy was gone another brother made some snide remark. Kit didn't make it out entirely, but it sounded something to the tune of it served him right. Kit jumped from the stage, literally leaping over the rope landing right in front of the teen who had uttered the words. Wrapping his hand around the boy's shirt cuff and raising him to his toes Kit stared him down, a sudden fear hitting the boy's eyes.
"You think you could do better!?"
He growled, the younger brother cringing at his words. Yet even in this act he felt dirty. Not one of these boys was even in his league. His own father was the only person capable of delivering a punishing spar. Finally Saito understood his problem, he was trapped in a place where he could no longer advance. His only challenge was leagues above him, and the rest were all just children. Even the boy he was holding was a child, though roughly fifteen, he was no match for Kit. He put the brother down and stepped away from the crowd. Not saying another word he vanished out the back door. He needed time to think, and his brothers were clearly confused. Not one of them understood why Saito was angry, and not one judged him for hurting Ethan. Then again he didn't need their judgement. He was dealing out the punishment himself.
Kit had no way of knowing this, but his words and their fight had inspired Ethan. One would think that such a fight would sour the boy on both his older brother and fighting. Yet the fact that Kit didn't make fun of his loss in the end. The fact that he promised to one day train with him. The fact that he had really proven just as tough as everyone had said. It was all too much for the boy. That day the name Saito Kito became more than a passing glance, he became Ethan's goal. Now wherever Kit went Ethan was sure to be nearby watching, listening, absorbing. They were two very different boys, but Ethan would try and learn as much as he could. Though Kit never would teach him how to block an oncoming elbow, they would one day train together nearly six years later.
