It was time, for the most anticipated spar of all time. In this corner, weighing in at one thousand pounds with his weights, the up and coming SAITO KITO!
In the next corner, weighing in at 200 pounds...with his weights, the long time member BRANDON!!!!
Let the battle commence. Your choice of battlefield sir!

After receiving a strange challenge via carrier pigeon, Brandon had gone to a quiet, vacant part of the lookout, where the challenge had instructed him to meet his new 'challenger'. "Ok, So... Who the heck would want to actually fight me? Doesnt make sense...." He thought, looking around for something to indicate a trap of some kind.
"I dunno, But we are on a tight and busy schedule. Dont fool around on this one... If need be, I can help when the situation needs it." Verlith replied to Brandons thoughts, as he to was curious as to whom was the challenger. He could feel that Brandon was very focused, and slightly agitated, which was perfect for any serious battle. While he was ready to go, it was unknown who, or what Brandon would face off against, though Brandon was secretly hoping it was a headstrong Saiyan warrior, or a Namekian.

(Power Lock with Kit at 32,770 and 65,540. Brandon at 26,121 and 52,242 )
Saito had arrived on the lookout just a day prior. He had of course been searching out a chance to train with the Kami that was located on the floating home, but found that he was busy training to defend against something else. It really wasn't any of Kit's business but he felt helpless sitting on the lookout. He could have been back home training with Ethan in the gravity chamber, but instead he was stuck on the tile floor with nothing more than his weights to keep him company. They were pretty great, but Kit had been itching to take them off. Not because they were a burden, but because he had trained with them for so long that he couldn't recognize his own power. He needed to test his abilities without them, but in an informal setting. He was considering doing it on his own when Popo suggested that he train with the other warriors training on the lookout. He sent a pidgeon to each, and each replied with a negative response. Carla was in deep training with the Kami, which Kit envied more than anything. Two other fighters appeared to be preoccupied off the lookout, and much to his surprise another pidgeon delivered a response from none other than Azazel.
The woman from earlier? Here?
It was surprising to be certain, but the longer he was on this lookout the less he understood about the state of the world. Why were all these fighters training and preparing for the worst? Was there already something going on. Surely Saito needed to ask the Kami before his training if there was anything he could do to help, but then again he hadn't the time for that. With Tundra coming any day now it was unreasonable to risk Ethan's life at the Dojo any longer than necessary. He decided that his training would need to be taken seriously and that someone would need to face him, or he would probably just climb the tower for a second time. Even that seemed droll in comparison to what he had been through, and what he had available to him at the dojo. After training in Gravity nothing felt as difficult. Yet another reason he wanted to feel his body released from the chains of his weights, if only for a few minutes.
Finally a pidgeon would find success, but would not return to Kit alone, from across the lookout in a spot Saito had not even considered looking, a young boy appeared. No, as he approached Kit it became clear that he was not as young as he appeared. Though he could pass as a teenager, the man was developed enough to be a little younger than Saito was. Though his body was of a thinner stature, and his close far more casual in nature, his energy signature was present, and spiked. He almost looked to be agitated at the invitation to spar. Saito however was more than happy to spar the boy and stood from his cross legged seating on the tiled flooring to greet him. The pidgeon flew from overhead Brandon, and onto Kit's shoulder. It chirped in his ears some encouraging positive luck and then fluttered away from the lookout, diving sharply over the edge. His face still stoic in a defensive response to the man's arrival, he spoke.
"I see my pidgeon found you well. I am called Saito Kito of the Crane school. The Kami here seems busy and no one seems to have time to spar with me. From your arrival I take it you are here to train as well?"
Though the man hadn't released any power yet, and actually felt as though he had little to no ki at all, he had a different presence about him, as though he had been training in a different manner. That didn't much matter to Kit, though he didn't want to hurt the little fellow who was so graciously offering to train with him. He would let the boy attack first, his lefts stretching away from each other, one slightly foreward and the other back. His arms raised up in front of him, each one an open palm with bent fingers prepared to counter any physical aggression.
"If so, let's not waste any time. The best way to get to know a man is through his movements on the battlefield."

Brandon listened as the challenge had appeared, and introduced himself as 'Saito Kito', and someone from the crane school. He didnt know much about this 'school' from which he had come from, but he found his lack of aggression disturbing. 'Im Brandon... The Dragonborn." He said, with some confidence. He didnt want to access his full power yet, since he wanted to see what Saito was capable of first.
Grinning to himself, he held his hands out to his side, and seven soccer sized balls of white energy started to form all around him. Slowly feeding them energy, the balls would slowly grow larger, as the ground underneath a few of them, as they approached the ground, started to slowly grow a thin film of ice on it. "You seem pretty calm and cool...Ill make sure you get even cooler. Heh." He said, smirking at his first witty pun of the match.
"That was pretty corny Brandon... Although, He doesnt seem to be moving all that fast. If you time it right, even your Glacial energy balls can hit him." Verlith said, as Brandons eyes kept locked on Saito.

The balls of energy instantly prompted Kit to realize that Brandon was not a physical fighter. The boy was uninterested in a bare fisticuf and instead insisted on using his own powers. Yet the energy did not appear to be from his own Ki. Either Kit was getting rusty or the boy was accessing his power from somewhere other than his own body. The white orbs seemed to harden, turning into what appeared to be solid balls of ice. The heat from the sun glistened against them causing a small smoke of cold air fall to the ground, crashing against the slick floors of the lookout and then vanishing only to be replaced by more of the icy air. Saito could feel it as the breeze picked up from Brandon's direction. Saito was interested to see what it meant to be dragonborn, as he had never once heard that title used in combat. Could it mean he was of the dragon school? Born to a father of the dragon clan? Or was this just a self proclaimed title to make himself sound intimidating? Either way Kit was about to find out.
"Punny"
He responded, recognize the corny pun for what it was. Brandon was obviously gifted to be able to harness such Ki energy even when it did not come naturally from him. His silver bracelet seemed to be the culprit, perhaps a device of his own creation. The red gem in the center was actually quite nice, though Kit had never seen it worn on a man before. The only red jewels he had ever seen had been attached to a woman's ears, fingers, or hanging just above her cleavage. If it provided Brandon with the energy he needed to be successful however, then who was Kit to judge? His eyes squinted however as a new realization struck him. The boy was sporting facial hair...sort of. He had a thin mustache that appeared light and from a distance hadn't appeared at all. Kit's full light shade of stubble covered over his cheeks and chin as well as wrapping gently around his upper and lower lip. This was simply because he had not shaved since arriving at the lookout. Normally Kit was either cleanly shaven, or sporting a full beard during the winter months. This however was summer, and he was very uncomfortable with his facial hair. Brandon it appeared had that thin mustache on purpose, though Kit would never understand why.
His back leg was already leaned back, so when the boy chose to charge his attack rather than run forward for a physical strike, Kit knew he would have to bring the battle to Brandon. He had expected the boy to actually fire his attack but instead he stood frozen in place as if his attack were not yet done forming. To use such a slow attack as his first contact seemed a little foolish. Any attack that required chargining for more than a few moments was a waste of time in a one on one battle where the opponent could easily break the concentration, and so without a second thought the fighter dashed forward, using his normal speed as he didn't feel the need to activate a Ki dash at such a close range. He wouldn't waste any time, with his left hand up and in the air in front of him, and his right hand ready to strike, he would make a head on attack at Brandon. Because the boy was charging rather than attacking it meant he had time to attack without fearing the counter of the ice spheres floating on either side of him. His attack would be an unprecedented right hook, his arm pulling back and then flying forward so that he could make contact with Brandon. Kit however was not stupid, he knew that being so close to Brandon's attack would mean that the attack could easily be launched. The moment after his fist made contact Kit would jump up and backwards, both hands landing on the ground and pushing off yet again. His back flips continued down the course of the lookout in a dashing attempt to avoid any potential incoming attack.

Brandon continued to focus his Chaos energy into the orbs, as he saw that Saito charged forward. "You got incoming Brandon."Verlith had said, but Brandon knew the obvious as he saw Saito pull his fist back for a right hook. Quickly figuring out what to do, Brandon erected his Shield, and allowed the ice spheres to dissolve into the air. He felt the strain of the attack on his shield, but it held as he saw Saito quickly moving back after the attack to put distance between himself and his opponent.
"Seems that attacks that need time to charge wont work here, I need to hit hard, and hit fast."He thought, as Saito moved away from him. He held out his arm, as a fireball quickly formed in his palm. Smirking again, he closed his fist around the fireball, as flames danced up around his arm, and seemed to hold at his elbow. "My turn!"He said, before thrusting his hand and arm towards Saito, as a large torrent of flames and heat suddenly burst from Brandons hand, and it flew right towards Saito. If his Dragonstar attack did indeed make contact with Saito, It would be possible that his clothing would be burnt pretty good.
Still testing what Saito is capable of, brandon still held off on Powering up. A new record for him since he usually went full force by now in a normal fight. He wanted to make sure he could win this one for sure. he was tired of having to lose a spar, or run from a fight. No.... Today, He was going to win...

As planned his fist made contact, but instead with a shield of sorts. Brandon was quick to conjure it in his defense which Kit thought as a wise move. The ice attack seemed too difficult to sustain simultaneously. Brandon had underestimated his opponents speed, but Saito imagined this was still a warm up for both of them. He would need to save some of his stronger attacks for later. There was no reason to rush into the techniques that drained his energy, not until Brandon began really putting forth an effort. After flipping a few times and landing several feet away from Brandon he saw the boys next attack. A ball of fire floated in his hand, and Saito saw what appeared to be a much, much smaller version of Anri's attack from his fight with the alien just a few weeks prior. During that fight he had fired a spirit gun blast that had slowed it down, but still was not strong enough to defeat the blast. This one actually appeared small enough that a spirit gun blast would overwhelm it, or at least cancel it out. Kit didn't want to use one of his precious bullets on an attack he could otherwise avoid, but Brandon did not fire it as a ball. He crushed the flaming energy and thrust it at Saito, open flames bursting forward, as if a pillar of inferno had been fired from his arm. Dodging was possible if his used his dash technique, but this wasn't the time for that. He would use his very first technique for this one. His right hand instantly began to glow, catching a glimmer of Ki and then fully igniting in a teal glow. Not wanting to waste any time he threw out his fist, hitting the attack head on.
A normal punch would have been ineffective, likely burning his hand and arm as well as allowing the attack a direct hit on his chest or face. This was no ordinary punch however, it was an attack Kit had so affectionately named the righteous fist. This was the first time he had used the technique in battle and actually known what the hell was going on. He had used it on three separate occasions thinking that his fist was just hitting a little harder, when in reality his Ki had stepped into play. When Kit was no more than a mere four thousand in powerlevel it took all that he had to manage the powerful strike, but now it was his easiest manueverable technique, and in this case would act in his defense. His Ki wrapped fist made contact with the burning tower of flames, and instantly blew up the first quarter of the pillar. The flames were hot, and caused an uncomfortable warmth to spread over his bare chest. The rest of the pillar fought viciously to break the fists offensive strike, but it would inevitably fail breaking off into small flames and dispersing off of Saito's fist.
Taking in a deep breath, and then exhaling out loud Saito put his still shimmering fist down at his side, and looked the boy over. He could feel the energy pulsing from Brandon's wrist, the bracelet appeared to be either enjoying the combat, or was just being used further. If the bracelet was capable of even feeling delight Kit was happy to oblige it. With his arm still wrapped in the simple Ki, he could feel the warmth inside, as if his Ki were a glove, and brandons fire had gotten stuck inside. He wouldn't dare look, but the pillar had crashed against his knuckles and burned them, reopening his old wounds from his fight with Anri. The attack may not have been as effective if not for that dangerous spar. The pain was manageable, and so he spoke from his spot only about fifteen yards away.
"You have clearly come to understand your own energy, or rather whomever's energy that is. If this is all we should both just call it a day."
His eyes squinted, he was calling Brandon's bluff. As it stood Saito didn't even feel threatened enough to use his focus state, and for some reason Brandon seemed to be rather casual about Kit's attacks. His normal fist had shaken the boys shield, and certainly brandon was already considering what his new shiny fist would do if it cracked down on him. The fighters were evenly matched, so a game of tennis was not going to win the day. Brandon needed to pull out something else if he was going to break Kit's combination of quick offense and focused defense.

Brandon watched with fascination as Saito countered his level 1 Dragon star with an attack of his own. A strange physical attack that seemed to partially block, and dissipate his fire attack. When Saito asked if he was done for the day, he couldnt help but snicker. "Whats the matter? Cant the new generation keep up with us old folk? Damn kids, No endurance." He said, countering the bluff with a tease to see if he would go for it.
"Im just getting warmed up!" He said as he was still grinning. He held out his arm again, pointing the glowing bracelet towards Saito. Brandons power level started to jump as the gem glowed so brightly, it was almost blinding, as the bracelet suddenly shattered. But its parts floated around Brandons wrist, as the fragments shifted size and form, and reassembled itself to form a gauntlet type weapon, as his power level had effectively doubled now.
"Lets try that again shall we?"He said, as he formed another fireball in his hand, but this time, he also formed another fireball in his other palm. Crushing both of them, He let the flames run up his arms again, but instead of storming Saito with his attack, he left the flames grow all over his arms, as it snaked onto his shoulders.

The boy's bracelet began to reform, breaking from its spot on his wrist and growing into a slightly larger gauntlet. Saito's theory had proven reasonable as the energy forming around his arm began to grow. The gemstone was certainly to blame for this power increase, and Brandon had learned how to control its power. As yet another fire based attack swarmed his arms Kit was reminded of Nyu's powerlevel. If anything Brandon was slightly stronger than Nyu had been the day Saito brought him down. Sekai however was no longer here to assist the man, and Brandon was no alien invader. Kit surely didn't want to hurt him. Then again Brandon appeared to not have the same sentiments. Whatever Kami was training them for had to be severe if Brandon was willing to train under such extreme circumstances. As the fires danced over his arms Kit found another opportunity to attack. This time it seemed that the attack was not taking very long to start up. Instead, Brandon was purposefully holding off, as if the flames around his body would feed off of his aura and grow even stronger. At this, Saito would not be undone.
With a reason to access his inner potential realized, the man pulled out his right hand yet again, his glowing energy slowly transfering into one spot, the tip of his finger. Saito had fired this signature attack time and again, only this time he would copy the kid's attempts to charge. The teal ball was already larger than it had been before thanks to his training, now he would charge it even more. Clasping his right wrist tightly, his body began to grow. His muscles expanding, his hair beginning to frizz as though it were filled with static, and his eyes changing from a brown to a teal in color. Saito too had transformed into his focus state. Now he was twice as capable as he was before, and he would need every ounce of that strength to compete with the jewelry that Brandon was wearing. It was clear that the boy was the puppet master to a greater power. Kit was no longer fighting the kid, he was fighting the energy that he had manifested on his wrist.
The spirit gun began to charge, Saito refused to launch it before it was truly ready, and so the small baseball sized ball of energy began to glow from a light blue to a nearly perfect white. He even began to hum quietly in order to achieve an even greater focus, and create an even better attack. Although the energies seemed almost Identical in power, Kit knew he needed to gain the upperhand, Brandon's wrist watch would not get the better of his Spirit Gun. Kit just needed to put himself in the right position to do some legitimate damage.
"If it's a game of endurance you are after, I can play all day!"
He yelled over the sound of their Ki energies forming and building. Both fighters were proving to have admirable techniques, but which would be stronger? Admittedly Saito had fought relatively quick matches over the last several weeks. His fight with Ethan lasted a short few minutes, and his spar with Anri lasted little more than twenty. Already Brandon and Saito had been facing off for the better half of five minutes and already they were both maxing out their energy reserves. Surely the two could not compete in this state for long, and little did Saito know that he actually did have the advantage in this front, for Brandon had a time limit and his clock was ticking down the minutes until he was utterly out of strength.

Brandon's body danced with fire, as he saw that Saito was also charging up for a powerful attack of his own to counter Brandons. Having a brawl fest of energy was not gong to end well for Brandon, and knew he had to work in a surprise attack. "Verlith, Im gonna have to see if I can get in a sneak attack rather then pure strength..." He thought, so only Verlith would know the plan that Brandon was cooking up.
"What do you plan to do?" He asked, curious as to what Brandon was up to. "A little maneuver I learned in a video game. If it works, I can atleast land a good strong hit on Saito. If it doesnt, Nothing gained, nothing lost."[/b] Brandon said, as he threw his Charged Dragonstar at Saito as he then broke into a run directly behind the sudden fire burst.
"Come on Saito, Counter the attack, I dare you to..."He thought, keeping his eyes locked onto his opponent to see when the perfect moment was to execute his maneuver. Timed right, it would be a wonderful, yet unprecedented move, If it failed, Brandon always had his failsafe shield just incase.

What choice did he have? The two had both charged up their attack's and now it seemed that with such a powerful energy captured in his right index finger, he couldn't seem to move. He would have to fire the attack, there was no question about that. The ball of ki energy that had formed at the tip of his finger had grown to strong to easily step aside or manuever with, a lesson that Saito was glad he learned now rather than in a more deadly circumstance. He was however transformed, and so Brandon's attack rivaled his own. For some reason however after firing the boy had decided to run behind his attack. The likely meant that he would be going for a physical strike after his own attack landed. Saito wasn't sure why the boy would do that considering his lack of physical strength it seemed unlikely that Brandon would be so willing to throw his body into the fray like that. So it was time for Kit to reveal his next technique.
"Spirit Gun!"
He waited until there was only a few feet between them, maybe five at the most before he fired his attack. The teal orb smashing into the face of the fiery dragon. The two PL's clashed, Saito's concentrated strength versus Brandon's jewelry. It really didn't have as epic a ring too it but the powers were undeniable. Saito wondered if this is what a spirit gun would look like if his weights were off and his body were solely focused on the task of firing a spirit gun bullet. He hadn't the time to think about such things for the moment he released his bullet, his body shimmered. If Brandon turned his head to follow the movement -which would mean taking his eyes off of the attack that was about to explode not three feet from him- he would see the blurring movements of Kit, who had activated his Ki dash. The technique took its toll, but using it once would not garner such negative effects. Saito of course had only used the attack this one time in the fight, so his legs would recover quickly from it. Brandon was the target of this dash. Running in a completed semi circle his goal was to move behind Brandon, who was already close to the incoming explosion, and throw his right knee into the small of his back. He would then push off of Brandon's body and slide down the course of the lookout, just in time to hear the explosion of his spirit gun. Like its father technique the Dodompa the Spirit Gun explodes on impact. By attacking from behind and from two directions Saito had hoped that he would be able to prevent Brandon from using his nifty Ki shield to block one of the oncoming attacks, either the explosion in front of him, or the attack from behind, though the surprise attack had been just that, a surprise.
Because Saito was unaware of the mechanics of Brandon's technique he had no way of telling if their spar had ended quickly, or if the fiery attack was still capable of moving on. He wasn't even entirely sure that he had struck Brandon and not just pushed off the ground, he would have no way of knowing that until the smoke of the explosion cleared. What had his spirit gun accomplished? Had he been successful in physically assaulting Brandon from being?

Brandons hunch was right, as Saito did fire his spirit gun at his Dragonstar. "Did he just call out his attack?" He thought, realizing that it could provide a slight advantage, since he would know what attack he would be doing, and when he was doing it. It would give him a precious second to block, or dodge it.
When there was a mere second before the two attacks collided and exploded, Brandon used his Chaos Projection technique to leap high above the explosion itself as it happened. He flew up high into the sky, and saw a small blur rush around to where he had been, and saw that Saito had try to use his own sneak attack the same time he was doing his. "Clever, Clever. He must be Psychic, But lets see how he can handle my next attack...." He thought, and while still using the upward momentum of his super jump, Brandon cupped his hands to one side.
He then kicked up his legs a bit to make him turn slowly, and when he was facing the ground, he kicked out again to stop the spinning. Facing downwards wit hhis hands cupped, he locked his gaze on Saito on the floor of the lookout. He started to focus his Chaos energy into a large attack, as a bright red ball of energy formed in his hands. "Better hurry Brandon, your power increase is at its halfway duration mark. If your gonna pull something, better do it quickly." Verlith said, warning Brandon that his transformation was half over.
"I know Verlith ,Let me concentrate! This is my last chance!" He said, focusing his energy into his next attack, as his upward momentum slowed down, and Brandon slowly started to descend towards Saito and the lookout.

His knee had missed its mark at the perfect moment, the bottom of Brandon's show lightly scraping against the tip of his knee. A second sooner and the man's attack would have been successful, yet Brandon had taken himself airborn, a task Saito had not yet perfected. He watched the boy as he began to descend from his original jump, charging yet another attack. Saito couldn't help but wonder why Brandon chose to charge all of his attacks. Although it made them stronger, it was also a slow and ultimately fruitless effort. It had to waste even more of his energy, and the boy wasn't gaining any ground from it. Saito could easily just charge his own blast and fire it at the same time. It was exactly what had happened with the last attack and because their power levels were marginally different the result would end the same way. Saito would oblige the boy however, as he was still well above his fifty percent mark. With the total being a single dash and double spirit gun because of the charge, Saito was at roughly 70% of his total power. He was remarkably impressed with himself as such attacks would have normally left him considerably more drained. He had been training well and imagined that had he fought Brandon only a month ago, things would have been much different.
Raising his index finger yet again, this time following Brandon's dissent from the sky, Kit decided he would play a game of attrition with the boy. It would be good too see just who had more energy than the other, and how long they could hold out on one another. He had considered using a different technique, but Brandon's wide array of attacks all summed up the exact same physical manifestation. Both the dragon and his current attack appeared to be fired in a straight line. He would be more than happy to battle energy with him yet again. The small teal marble formed on his finger, and again grew larger, a white core appearing on the inside. Static electricity shot from his hair and spirit bullet. Saito felt truly empowered by the energy in a way he hadn't felt before. In all of his fights involving Ki energy Kit had been either defeated or pushed to his limit. Here he was finally unshackling his chains, at least a little bit. He debated removing the over encumbering weights that pulled at his legs and arms, but decided that a victory with them on would be even more sweet. He had to steel his resolve to never remove them, or his entire training up unto that point would have been in vein.
"You should consider naming your attacks. When you respect them, they too will respect you"
He had noticed Brandon would fire off attacks without naming them, Anri had done the same in their fight. While it was foolish to yell out the attack when the opponent was not already expecting it, Stating it as it fired or a mere second after held no significant difference in how a person could effectively move against it. In all of his books from the crane school he had been taught that the names of each technique were special and gave power to the energy that he was using. For example the ancient Kamehameha was broken into several syllables that when spoken correctly would greatly empower the Ki within. Really it was the difference between a basic technique and a truely artistic Ki formation.

Brandon concentrated most of his energy into his charging attack, as he would now pull out his ace card. "Now Verith, Engage the Booster by 10%!" He thought, as Brandons overall energy level seemed to climb by a small amount, but a nice amount it was all the same.
PL with Weights: 39,179 + 10% = 43,097 -1 Trans Duration
With the small boost in power, Brandon started to focus the new energy into his energy ball. "Kaaameee...."He started to say. If Saito was listening, He would hear that Brandon was actually about to use his own special variation of the ancient technique. "Haaammeee...." Brandon added, as the energy ball quickly grew in size, and sparked with electricty...Red electricty.
"Brandon with the decreased time left, You might just have enough power to make it back down to the ground. Be careful."Verlith said to Brandon, though trying not to disturb him, as Brandon finally thrusted his palms down towards Saito as he yelled "HAAA!" The red ball of arcing energy suddenly would burst into a good sized continuous beam of energy directed right at Saito.
The force of the Chaos Kamehameha seemed to even slow down Brandons descent towards the lookout. Should the attack hit the lookout itself, or its intended target, it would cause a large explosion unless something were to divert it off of its course.
Final Trans post.

As expected Brandon launched his attack charged with the fullest quantity of his energy. What was unexpected was the girth of the beam. The unnamed attack had become instantly more powerful than Kit had been expecting and was now strong enough to overpower his spirit gun. Though they had charged an equal amount of time, he had not accounted for Brandon's ace in the hole. surely now he would be overpowered if he chose to stand his ground. The obvious choice of course being to move out of the way. Launching his own attack and declaring its name, Spirit Gun, The energy launched. His teal and white orb, which was again bigger than he had ever preciously conceived, collided with the chaotic beam and for a moment held its ground, snaps of electricity forming from the inside and striking through to the outside of the attacks collision. It wouldn't take more than a few seconds for the beam of energy launched by brandon to overpower the small orb, and this time fly past it towards Kit. Saito's strategy remained unchanged however as his legs instantly picked up in a Ki dash to his left, wrapping along the side of the lookout again, and this time much to both his and his opponents surprise, into the air. After having brought himself to the very top of the lookout by flying the last short distance, Saito had been waiting for an excuse to do it again. His legs stepped first on the marble tiling of the lookout, and then on air itself as the rapidly moved in a blur around the stadium. At the moment the beam made its impact with the ground where Kit had been, he was now off to Brandon's right, his fist filled with a charge of Ki Brandon had seen before.
Brandon's bracelet had begun to recede, and it was at that moment Kit knew he had won. It was too late to stop his next attack, but the winning blow did have to be dedicated and true for the fight to mean anything. Anri had launched his fiery attack to end their combat, and Saito had on a number of occasions ended his fights with the very same glowing fist technique. It was the righteous fist, or so Kit had named it. After yet another sprint, another charged Spirit gun, and now a righteous fist attack, Saito was down to thirty-five percent of his strength, meaning he could do it all again one more time, but that would be that. Luckily Brandon did not have the energy to afford such a turn around which meant that his battle of endurance with the boy had ended with Saito as the victor.
The upcoming Crane master threw his fist directly at Brandon's left side. If it was successful in hitting, and why wouldn't it be now that he was focused and brandon was not, the other fighter would be hit on his left side in the ribs just underneath his arm. The downward slant of the attack would send Brandon spiralling towards the ground at a much faster rate than if he had fallen naturally, and on a trajectory that would make it difficult to land on his feet. Saito couldn't allow this attack to fail, if it did Brandon would surely still be standing and their spar would yet continue. While in close combat he would take this effective position. If his first Righteous fist strike were to fail, Kit would throw a less severe punch at the boy's face with his left hand. If the attack was successful as he expected it to be, he would then use his own downward trajectory to his advantage. Crossing his arms and falling down to the ground towards where Brandon was falling to finish the job.
