These series of events occurred an estimated thirty years ago. The location was Earth, upon an ancient training ground. This was an island, dubbed by the old Turtle School Teacher, Master Roshi as "The Island Of Training". Upon this island was a building built by Master Krillin, as the New Turtle School. All these years later, it was now run by one of his Grandsons from many generations later. A short old man, balding with three dimples on his forehead and a beard. After all these years, the turtle school thrived, training many great warriors over the years.
However now, the legendary school was engulfed in flame, the master fighting to defend against his greatest student. A half-bread Saiyan. The Saiyan however was saddened with the situation. "Master, please. It's just an old scrap of cloth... you would fight me? Try to even destroy me and the very school your Ancestor built to protect it?" he asked.
The old man tried controlling his breath as he took a stance. "This 'scrap of cloth' you refer to is all that is left of the great one! His very soul no longer exists, and you wish to take the last scrap of his legacy and throw it away on some crazy woman and her so-called visions!? You have lost your mind, Kazu." He said. "To think you would go so far for a simple woman."
Yes. Before him was the same man Zeke would much later meet bar-tending in New Vegeta. His hair was blonde just as before, nowhere near as splendid as a Super Saiyan's color. His blue eyes narrowed behind his glasses. Wearing a Turtle School uniform and a black undershirt. He stepped forward, letting his Saiyan blood boil. "This has NOTHING to do with that nonsense!" he roared. He took a breath and calmed down. "I would never go that far for a woman. This... Master, all that exists depends on my acquisition of that garment." he stated.
The master sighed in disappointment. "I want to believe you. But you have been mislead. This woman can see what will happen in the future? That is completely ridiculous!" He stated. "Not even the Kais poses such power."
Kazu gritted his teeth. "You have no idea. There are a great deal of forbidden techniques. These Kais forbid them for reasons, but Tessa has gained this one for a reason. This universe will be destroyed in the next thirty or so years by a monster. The only way to beat it is with another monster. One that can control its power." He explained.
The Master could not believe these words. "To destroy such an artifact to create blasphemy! A creature of destruction, Kazu. This creature will be the evil monster you speak of, not a savior! But I see your mind is made up. You have lost touch with reality." he stated. He put one hand over his head. "You were my greatest student, Kazu. I will always remember you as such." He said. Then above his head a massive golden disk appeared. "Ultimate Kienzan!" He threw the disk, flying towards the man. Kazu knew that if he defeated the Master, he would hunt him. That, or another would be trained to do it as some 'heroic quest of reclamation'.
The disk closed in... cutting clean through the man. But there was no blood. The master clued in, looking over his shoulder. The after image fading, Kazu was already behind the man with an attack charged. "It didn't need to be this way." he told the old man, before firing a massive beam of blue. It tore away quite a bit of the remaining building. In that instant, the last Master of this legendary school was erased. Living as a hermit, few knew of his existence to pass on his legacy. The only ones who would remember him and this place were Kazu, a select few other students, and Kami, Guardian of Earth. Kazu knew that the Guardian was going to take interest quite soon, so he moved quickly.
Within moments, he acquired the Artifact. It was a simple Turtle School Uniform. But it was who wore it that made it special. Putting it in a large briefcase, Kazu snapped his fingers and was instantly clad in black slacks and fine shoes with a black blazer set only over his shoulders. His white shirt was open under a black vest to reveal a silver chain. Sleeves rolled up, the fine-dressed half Saiyan walked out of the buildings remains as it collapsed behind him. He pulled a slim black device from his pocket and placed it on his ear. A blue holographic screen covered his eye like a single lens of a pair of sunglasses.
"I've got it. It was a fight... ---- Yes. I did kill him. ---- I'm... fine. Not... great. But it was either him or the Universe. ---- I'm Saiyan, I'll deal with it. ---- I don't know. It was technically mine anyway, I'm the closest decedent he has after all. ---- Alright. Just a shame we need to break the whole thing down. ---- Yeah. Meet you back at HQ." He pushed a button, shutting the device down.
He was Saiyan. But also Human. The tears could not be helped.
