“Computer, activate invasion protocol”
Master, Thank you for engaging the Simulator 2.0. Today you will be facing a custom made foreign invasion. In this invasion you have chosen one enemy with the maximum power of thirty thousand. Two enemies with the maximum power of ten thousand, and one enemy with the maximum power of : DATA-NOT-FOUND: will this satisfy your requirements for the day.
Kit let out an audible sigh as he finished tying his leg weights into place. He had run the simulation a dozen times, and in not a single one of them had he been even remotely successful. He knew that Nyu had a powerlevel of thirty thousand, at least the last time they had fought. The alien had also boasted about his master who had a commanding ten times his henchmen’s power. This meant that the monster Tundra had to be somewhere in the realm of 300,000. This was not as strong as Kemuri, the warriors last combatant, however it was significantly stronger than Kit was, even at his best. Through his own estimates he must have been able to reach somewhere in the realm of 120,000 which was hardly half of the bastards expected power. He let loose the command.
“Computer. Set enemy Tundra to 300,000 and activate 15X normal gravity”
The lights of the simulator whizzed creating a colorful pattern on the wooden floor at his feet until the simulator did something Saito had never seen before.
The System has located the Changeling Tundra and will now begin simulation at 15 times the Earth’s normal gravity
Kit’s eyes grew wide as he realized that the Dojo’s last big upgrade had not only made it possible to compete with Tundra, but to do so in actual form. The black sillouette he had been facing before would no longer appear, and instead the actual being would. Not only that, but once the simulation began the entire room began to shimmer, and send him to the city, where havoc had already begun. His legs shook at the sudden increase in gravity, as if his weights weren’t enough of a barrier. He instantly saw his first two opponents. They remained darkened figures as Saito only assumed that Tundra would bring a few minor armed guards. The master gazed from left to right, his left eye finally noting that they were no longer in the dojo, but in a city that was under siege. He jumped into action. His targets doing the same.
As usual they were quick, bouncing from building to building and firing a widely generic blast to keep Saito busy. The warrior was hardly phased by this. His spiritual redirection made deflecting the blasts with the back of his hand simple. Each ball of energy would be met by a swift punt back in their direction. This would hit a nearby building, and most of the time would cause the building to fall. A mental note for the future, avoid fighting in the middle of the city. He wanted to avoid civilian casualties and that simply wasn’t possible in a fight of their magnitude. Saito chose to remain on the ground, running in the opposite direction of his enemies. They flew, nearly at the top of the towering sky scrapers, making it difficult for them to actually see Saito. This was in no way a hinderance on their part, as the simulator had equipped them with scouters that accurately depicted his powerlevel and location. The scouters beeped feverishly as Saito hit his max untransformed powerlevel of 35 thousand. His running was much faster than their flying and so Saito reached the end of the longest major highway nearly thirty seconds before his opponents would.
The simulations were not very tactful as they moved in a most predictable manner, heading straight up the highway at their target, utilizing the fastest route. Saito meanwhile had planted himself firmly at the end of the road, both of his index fingers pointed up and towards the sky. By the time his opponents were in range of his attack he had already charged it to maximum efficiency and then some. His patent spirit gun had been altered yet again, now being called the revolver. In this case, the spirit gun is fired six times from each finger, as though Saito is holding a six shooter in each hand. The mini shots are accurate and fast, though not very powerful. All six shots amount to the same energy as a single Spirit Gun. They are perfect for taking down shields, or disposing of many weaker opponents at once, which is exactly what the young master did. Both fingers began to feverishly fire the small beads, and before Saito had emptied his clip the darkened aliens had fallen from the sky, smoke rising from their chest. Saito was a deadly shot with his spirit revolvers.
His instincts kicked in as his right arm rose to block an incoming kick. This was how Nyu liked to make an entrance. Just as he had in his battle with Sekai, the crafty alien and his freakishly long legs assaulted Saito, who was more than prepared to counter. At the time of their first battle Saito was hardly a tenth of the creepy aliens power. However in the half a year since that time he had trained himself to not only be able to keep up, but to far exceed the aliens power. Even with his weights bearing down on him, and the gravity slowing his movements ever so slightly, the martial arts expert kept his balance. Nyu had proven to prefer kicking, and so it became very similar to the Muai Tai he had studied growing up. He used his elbows to block the oncoming kicked, causing them to land squarely on his forearm. His counter came from a sharp knee that rose to strike back, occasionally making its mark and forcing the creep back. In one such moment of relief Saito reached his own arm backwards, latching onto his newest weapon. The feel of the tightly wrapped velvet rope around the blade always sent a chill through the fighter. He had yet to become accustomed to the feel of Kemuri’s bade in his own hand. This wouldn’t prevent him from using the blast as he pulled it from the sheath at the exact moment Nyu had recovered from his injury. The alien countered by throwing his leg into the air, which he would find to be a very sizable mistake. The sword was sharp, and thanks to the masterful craftsmanship of its original owner, matched the power level of the user holding it. Nyu’s weakened kick was met head on with an empowered blade, one that cut through the bottom of Nyu’s shoe and through his heel, stopping at the ankle.
His opponent shrieked as Saito pulled the blade out of the screaming alien’s foot, and promptly shoved it into his midsection. The simulation died. Saito didn’t have any qualms about killing fictional creatures, even though they represented someone he knew. Frankly he had wanted to kill Nyu ever since their first encounter. He hoped that his trainings would dull him off it so that perhaps he could kill the alien without remorse…or maybe it would get the bloodlust out of his system so that when the actual day of battle came he would not feel the need to slaughter his opponent. Either way the problem was for a later date, and now Saito would finally face off against the mysterious Tundra. If the computer was correct in whom it had found, it would be the first time the human had ever faced off against the Icer.
The wind picked up, and Saito’s nose began to twitch. It was in moments of inactivity that the chambers heaviness became even more real. Though the silence wouldn’t last long, before he could see it coming an energy blast flew through the air striking the base of Saito’s sword, causing it to fly from his hand. Saito turned fast enough to block the next two, and truly it was good he did. They had both been aimed for his neck, and were redirected into two nearby buildings. Although they had been thin, they certainly were powerful as both small buildings cracked under the beams presence, and after a few moments collapsed to one side.
Saito took in the moment, eyeing his opponent. Two long horns shot out of the beasts head. He was short with light blue scales, and a purple shell surrounding an even darker purple bulb. This was his opponent. A tail crashed to the ground behind him as he let a small callous smile peer out the right side of his face. Squinting his eyes, Saito activated the long awaited Focus State. He could feel the power that the Icer was letting off. It was somewhere around fifty or sixty thousand, and that was something Saito could keep up with. His own hair began to stand on end, static from the electricity that was now visibly flowing and crackling around his head. His muscles grew slightly, causing a tightness to form in his pants and jacket. The master was ready to square off, and do so with a Ki dash that met its mark, bringing a stiff knee into the Icer’s smug face. Of course the expression changed to one of pained surprise, but not before the Icer sent the mighty tail from behind him to wrap around his opponent. Kit had not anticipated this, and so his attack, albeit successful, was countered. Tundra threw the man several feet in the opposite direction in order to buy himself time, this however would prove futile as Saito flipped in the air, landing on his feet in the mountain climber position. He kicked off the rubble making a b-line for his enemy, his fist primed for a righteous strike. The glowing right hand was met with creatures tail. Tundra had assumed his tail was strong enough to take a punch, and surely he would have been right had this not actually been a charged attack. The fist burned the tail and sent it behind it’s owner. Saito meanwhile began his barrage. While he had the monster open, he threw a half a dozen punches straight to his unguarded mid section. He then ended the barrage with a mighty kick to the chest that sent the miniature emperor skipping across the ground, like a rock across a small pond. Saito however wasn’t finished. He jumped into the air, his Ki dash acting as a flying mechanism to give himself air over the Icer.
“Spirit Gun!”
Grabbing his wrist and pointing a lone finger towards the body of his enemy Saito fired what had to be the strongest shot he had ever mustered. The crack of its release rang in both their ears before the small orb made impact, exploding instantly into Tundra’s chest. The explosion reminded Kit of a bomb, creating a perfectly circular orb around where the gun had been fired. When the light subsided, and the dust fell, there was no sign of the creature. Saito remained unwavering, his focus taught on the crater. Sure enough his persistence would pay off as a large hand rose from the ground sending an immediate jolt of adrenaline to the warrior. How could Tundra still be standing? More importantly how was his hand so large now? As the Icer pulled himself from the rubble it became clear that not only was his hand bigger, but his entire body seemed to be. Saito had thought his own transformation changed his appearance, but no where near as much as the Icer. Tundra was now even taller than Kit standing at least seven feet tall and weighing probably equal to Kit in his armor. The creature had transformed, and was now well over anything Saito could possibly produce. Before he could utter a word the rival alien launched his attack, a dark ki energy flying towards him. He crossed his arms in a vain attempt to stop the attack, only to find that it was too strong, ripping away at his sleeves, and singeing his bright blond hair. The inertia also caused him to fall backwards, landing atop one of the tall skyscrapers behind him.
Saito stayed on his back, looking up at the sky above him. Had he not known this was a simulation he would have been easily fooled. The environment seemed so real, as did the sudden and large enemy that appeared above him. A fist cocked back, Saito shut his eye tightly and felt a very real pain before a bright light. He opened his eye and found himself back in the dojo, the simulation ringing.
Simulation Complete. You are dead.
Saito hit his knees. The simulation had bested him again, but this time in a much more realistic fashion. He was truly at less than a third his opponents strength with his weights holding him back, and the gravity pushing down on him. Even though this meant that with his weights off he would do remarkably better, it didn’t change the fact that Nyu had been correct in assessing his master, and Saito was ill prepared for their coming. Nyu had suggested that they would return quickly, and so Saito knew it would be any day now. How would he train to beat such a powerful opponent by himself?
Spirit Revolver: Each of Saito’s hands holds six rounds, much like a six shooter revolver. The attack is a rapid fire blast of 12 shots, six from each hand. The small beads of energy are perfect for breaking down armor or taking out weaker opponents as they act as a bullet would. Against stronger opponents each bullet will do minor damage much like a punch or kick. All six rounds combined equal the same strength of one spirit gun, and so the attack takes about 10k to produce. It can be repeated so long as Saito has the energy to continue, however a one post cool down is required between each clip being used. This limits him to 12 bullets every other post.
