Celeh had her focus on the ball, and so she didn't hear Ninjin's command to disperse it at first. She blinked and shook her head as she heard his voice a second time after that. The soldier looked up and listened to the words he had to say. The ball was still formed in her hands, but she didn't do anything with it yet. There was a strong urge from deep within her to release the ball and let it do its work...but she resisted. Celeh could feel a bit of the power that the ball had to offer, but it was incomplete. The energy it exuded wasn't strong enough to bring out her Oozaru form. She squashed it between her hands, the energy dissipating in a violent puff. She wafted the smoke away with her right hand and sighed.
She started to work on creating another ball of energy between her hands, and her tail remained between her palms as a focus. But she spoke to reply to Ninjin, "It is everything opposite of what I stand for and have been trained for. In battle I am graceful, cunning, and disciplined. A raging beast is haphazard, easily manipulated, and unrestrained. For someone like me, who has always been a step below her opponents on the battlefield, giving up the one advantage...strategy and reasoning...that I had over my opponents is just not something I could afford to lose. And I never had anyone to teach me the technique to summon the form or the ability to control it before. For me it was a lost art. Make no mistake...taming the beast is very much on my to do list. It has been for a long time...but not because I had intentions of using the form in battle all the time. I want the security of knowing that, if I ever did transform, I would still be in control and I could put that power to use for my own purposes."
As she had spoken, the energy in her hands had already built into a second ball. Surprisingly, this one was much more natural. She hadn't been able to think about making the ball as much since she was talking, and so she had to use her instincts more in creating it. This allowed a more natural form of the moon ball to appear...one that was a little more in touch with her inner beast thanks to relying more on instinct to create this one.

Celeh was not alone in her desire to let the moon ball work its magic. There was something strong about the primal urge staring at the moon ball stirred within a Saiyan. Their beastial side. It was a hard thing to control, harder still to master. Though that she had taken to forming the moon ball so quickly and so correctly showed that Celeh had great power within her. Not that Ninjin was at all surprised by that. Together they had stormed the world of Mement Mor and bravely stared down a death both had known was coming all along. The strength she had few others could match, perhaps not physically but few could say they had the character of Celeh.
The solider crushed the ball and began forming another in between her hands. Ninjin walked around and observed her as she did so. The tail as a point of focus had almost caused Ninjin to laugh at first, but he saw the logic behind it and he hadn't wanted to throw off her concentration. While she focused she spoke of her hatred of the form. The reasons behind her loathing were not without merit. Celeh was full of tricks in battle, and it was true that she was graceful and cunning. However, give a mind to the beast and what was once just brutal becomes cunningly so.
The ball was stronger within her hands this time. She was a very rapid learner, but Ninjin had discovered this before. It was interesting to think that only a short time ago they hadn't known each other at all. Then they had gone through a great ordeal together and now found themselves training in Heaven. Life, and the afterlife, was strange.
"You're doing exemplary Celeh. I must say I'm impressed. Whenever you think you are ready you may launch the moon ball into the air. Do not fear the transformation as it is occurring, that will only activate more of your adrenaline and make the beast that much harder to control. Stay calm, stay focused. You can do this." He said the words confidently, encouragingly, and most importantly with a friendly smile. He really did have faith in Celeh.

Ninjin's words almost wounded her. Fear the beastly side of her? No...if she feared it, she'd have removed her tail a long time ago. She trained her tail to strengthen it so that it would not be a weakness. And this training, too, would be to remove a further weakness from her body. If she had control of the form, it could not be used against her to make her lose her combat skills and reasoning while in that form. She kept her focus, the tip of her tail tingling as the moon ball she had formed touched the tip while held in her hands. She glanced up at Ninjin when he told her to toss it into the air when she was ready. She held the ball in one palm, looking at it and staring it down. It was almost like she was taking in all facets of the thing she had created, as if analyzing it and trying to find any flaws or what might be exceptional about it. She nodded to Ninjin and, without a word, tossed it into the sky.
Her eyes remained locked on the moonsilver orb as it floated above them, and she felt that familiar urge. The hairs on her arms and legs stood on end, and the hair on the back of her neck felt like it was dancing. Her muscles tensed up from the first stage of the transformation, and for a moment her body felt like it was on fire. Her body temperature raised drastically during the transformation, and her tail flicked around wildly. She felt her muscles begin to grow and her skin began to crawl as more and more hair sprouted. Her eyes clenched shut tightly and her fists followed suit. The fog thickened in her mind the further the transformation went.
Celeh, still in her saiyan battle armor and covered by the specially made clothing designed to stretch over the Oozaru form, stood still in front of Ninjin. She could not take action, but she did not flail around and stomp about menacingly. She didn't have enough control to direct the form yet, as the fog in her mind was still far too thick and she was in much too unfamiliar territory...but her highly disciplined mind could not be overcome even by the wild urges and the blind rage of the beast she had unleashed. Celeh stood, quietly growling and gazing around the scenery from a new perspective.

She was not the first he had taught to control the form. Once, a lifetime ago, he had taught his younger brother Leke to control the form. It had been his bodyguard and father figure Vil who had taught Ninjin to control the beast within. Ninjin was now teaching his sister’s former bodyguard in Heaven. The universe worked in funny ways. Still Ninjin was happy to be doing, and with a carefree heart. This truly was Heaven. They had died fighting for their people and their beliefs and had been rewarded in the most glorious of ways. They got to train forever, spar forever, do whatever it was that they liked forever, to their hearts content. For Ninjin it would no doubt be training. Ever since he had arrived in Heaven he had developed a bug for training whenever possible. Training Celeh to master her Oozaru form was something that he would love to do. It came with being a leader, with being a general and a former prince and king. The best leaders did not simply dictate, but show and led.
When he told her she could release the orb when she was ready she formed one and stared at it for a good long while. This was the line that she was toeing. In moments her bestial side would be released, loosed from within her. Though they were in Heaven and there was a calming nature to the place it would strictly and harshly contrast with the rage of the beast. It was that rage that gave Saiyans their power.
When she released the orb into the sky it was perfect. She had fully mastered the technique, and Ninjin felt the pride of a teacher fill his chest. There was something else filling him as well however. A familiar feeling overcame him as hair began to sprout from all over his body, his frame began to stretch and bones popped and muscles stretched and grew and strengthened. The oozaru form truly was something to behold. Especially to watch from start to finish. Soon Ninjin stood three-and-a-half stories tall, a great ape in all respects.
Unlike his counterpart however his mind felt no fog. He had spent long hours in the form, and had removed all traces of urges that could not be followed. Ninjin stretched out his armor, enchanted to stretch with his Oozaru form. It still weighed him down as usual, though his strength was still tremendous. His muzzle formed into a smile as he looked at his “student.” She stood silently staring at her surroundings, but Ninjin could tell that there was a war raging within. Celeh was not used to the form, and despite that was showing her usual discipline and strength of willpower and character.
“That’s good! Control yourself. You can do this.” [/i] Ninjin’s voice came out of the massive great ape frame like tires rolling over gravel. It was still cumbersome to talk in the form, no matter how much control he had over it.

Her eyes, reddened and full of beastial fury, gazed over her surroundings in still. Oozaru instinct prevented Oozaru from attacking another Oozaru unless provoked. Ninjin's words didn't fall on deaf ears, but Celeh was far from having the control necessary to respond verbally right now. A grunt was followed by a slow, but assuring nod. Her eyes focused on Ninjin as he stood before her. It was a bit odd, but with him as a focal point she did feel more relaxed. The haze didn't clear so quickly, but the rage was held behind the fog, unable to reach her mind. She took a deep breath and focused hard, trying to think of what she was doing. She didn't want to be angry, but why? It felt so natural...and she couldn't remember why she was in this form. She didn't remember taking this form before, and she knew that she only ever intended to take the form if things got bad. Why did her memory seem so fuzzy now?
The saiyan woman took a deep breath, her multi-story tall form tensing up as she began to move. Her hand reached up slowly toward Ninjin before resting on his shoulder. A smile, if you could call it that, spread across her face when she looked at him. Her mouth moved, but it was hard to understand what she said. "Th-tthhhnnnnkk..." It sounded like a very odd grunt. Still, she was trying to speak...to get more control. It was frustrating to fail at such a simple task, though, and she gritted her teeth, retracting her hand and holding the side of her head. The frustration and anger threatened to boil to the surface...
She stepped back and her other hand came up to clutch the side of her head. Celeh's tail flicked wildly behind her, but she didn't start rampaging. She looked around again. Everything looked like a target around her...everything, that is, except Ninjin. His very presence broke the monotony of the scenery, and again her focal point returned to the forefront of her mind. Her tail calmed, although it still flicked back and forth. Her arms dropped to her side and she closed her eyes. This was...training, wasn't it?

New scents and sounds filled Ninjin’s heightened senses. The massive ape-like creature took in deep nostril fulls of the scents that this field of Heaven had to offer. It was one thing as a Saiyan, it was another thing completely as an Oozaru. They were wonderful, everything smelled fresh and full of life, even though that couldn’t possibly be the case. This was Ninjin’s first time going Oozaru in the fields of Heaven and it was wonderful. The calming nature of it even seemed to help further suppress his bestial side. Perhaps that was happening with Celeh as well. The crimson clad Oozaru turned his attention back towards his training partner.
Her eyes stayed trained on him but flicked back and forth as if she was in deep thought, which she no doubt was. Or a part of her no doubt was, the other part was trying to debate the best way to go about smashing everything, if he had to hazard a guess. The Oozaru form was something difficult to master. There was a reason, Ninjin supposed, that his father had outlawed the common class from learning moon-ball. No doubt they would just have a bunch of pissed-off giant-apes running around, the barest few knowing control over the form. Still Celeh was not just anyone. There had been fewer finer soldiers that Ninjin had known in his time.
Slowly her Oozaru form began to walk towards him, and it reminded Ninjin in a way of a child taking their steps for the first time. Shaky, hesitant, unsure, but focused, determined. Once again slowly her hand reached up towards him and he braced himself for the impact that was sure to follow. Still even in this form his power was great enough to take the punch. Yet no punch came. A massive hand came to rest on his shoulder, and Ninjin’s eyes blinked open. Celeh-Oozaru began to speak, though the words came out much as they would through any Oozaru mouth. Garbled, grunting, and not very legible. Still that she was able to say so much. Ninjin’s snout beamed with pride, until Celeh pulled her hand away and stepped backwards clutching at her head. She was controlling it, but it was fighting her. Once again her eyes landed on him. Her tail stopped its wild dance and she brought her arms to her sides, once again regaining control over herself.
“That’s good. Keep yourself focused. You can do this. Anything that you can do in your normal form you can do in your Oozaru form. When you feel you have enough control try utilizing your favorite technique.”

The Saiyan woman took another deep breath. Her favorite technique was the one she had created herself and spent hours perfecting. She had a dozen different ways to use it in battle and it was one of her primary tricks in battle. She slowly raised one arm and pointed it at the sky. She pointed a single finger into the air and focused on the tip of her finger. A small aquamarine orb began to form there, and it fluctuated in size as she struggled to compress it like a normal Nova Bullet. Focus and control were a hundredfold more difficult in this form, and so a technique that was second nature to her in her normal state felt almost impossible in this form. She grunted and her eyes narrowed as her gaze focused on the small orb on the tip of her finger. She then thrust her arm into the air and fired off the blast, which was about the size of a normal person's head. That was small and compact compared to her Oozaru sized hands, and so she felt satisfaction as the blast exploded in a marvelous manner above her. The explosion was far larger than she was accustomed to seeing, no doubt a result of her greatly increased power in the Oozaru form.
Celeh managed to speak, this time in a clear enough manner to be understood. A resounding "Yes, YES!" escaped her lips as she jumped into the air and did a mighty fist pump in excitement. It was obvious that this triumph over her beastial side had really boosted her morale and self-worth. For a soldier who failed to protect her charge and failed in her duty...it was greatly needed that she should succeed in something she had been putting off for a very long time. And as she landed from that leap of joy, the solder glanced at Ninjin and almost looked embarrassed at how whimsical and undisciplined she must have looked in that moment. "S-sorry..." Followed from her lips as she replied with another single word. Normally she would have said 'Apologies' but single, simple words were easier at the moment. She would rather be understood than be proper.

It was odd, even in the Oozaru form Heaven had a calming effect. Whereas normally Ninjin would still have to put up some effort against the beast inside despite all the control that he had over it, here and now he felt it barely resisting, barely trying to fight back. Perhaps his control over that side of himself had grown so great, or perhaps it really was Heaven. Regardless of his own prowess Celeh seemed to be taking to the form quite well. It held no surprise for Ninjin, the female was the most powerful full blooded Saiyan he had ever met besides the royal family. She was remarkable, and her being in Heaven also showed her character. When she was ready she raised her hand in the air and tried to form her technique there, one that he had seen before in sparring with her. After what seemed to be a struggle she got the technique to work and it exploded in the air with tremendous force.
What came next surprised the former crown-prince. The Oozaru-form Saiyan-woman began to jump up and down excitedly. Her mirth and happiness were overwhelming and Ninjin found his Ooazru snout twisting up into a smile, something that the form was unaccustomed to doing. The massive apes brought his hands together clapping for the solider. When she was finished she looked over at him and seemed to notice he was still standing there for the first time. Sheepishly she apologized but the former prince waved it off.
“It’s nothing. Nothing at all. This is Heaven feel free to relax. I’m crown-prince of nothing here.” He added the last bit with a friendly smile. Why pretend as if titles still held meaning? He was dead, and he had accepted that for the most part.
"You're progressing incredibly well. Is there anything else you'd like me to teach you? You seem to have control over the form, and forming techniques whilst in Oozaru form is one of the most difficult parts. Then again it shouldn't come as any surprise, you're the strongest full blooded Saiyan I've ever met, outside of the royal family." He gave voice to what he was thinking earlier, and there was no mistaking the pride in it. Saiyans were a mighty race, and she showed that as well as he.

Celeh nodded to him and breathed a heavy sigh of relief. Ninjin didn't seem to mind her excitement. It was a rare occurrence that Celeh let her emotions get the better of her, but perhaps death had changed her in ways even she did not yet see. It is a big deal, regardless of how she played it off. Still the soldier wished she had a bit more control over her ability to speak in this form. Perhaps that would come with time? She felt her own muzzle shifting into a more calm and casual smile. It felt good to drop her restraints, but at the same time she had to remain focused to not lose control of her Oozaru form. She gave a quick visual scan of the area before giving a few punches and kicks at the air, shadow boxing to get a more in depth feel of the movements she could do in this form. It seemed that, even with the behemoth size and clumsiness of the form, she might still be able to nimbly move around with enough practice.
Without a second thought, though, she aimed a finger at the moon ball she'd thrown into the air and fired off another Nova Bullet, this one shattering the moon ball and dissipating the effect that let them transform. Celeh's body began to recede and shrink in size, returning to the original shape and size she was so accustomed to. Her eyes closed and her hands clenched for a few moments before she finally relaxed again. The worry of losing control no longer loomed in the back of her mind. Celeh's eyes moved up to Ninjin, "Your pride in me is misplaced, Ninjin. I know you mean well and I appreciate your help, but I don't feel like I can be compared to any of our comrades. Leke is still young and his power rivals my own. Even half saiyans without royal blood far outstrip my power. If there's talk of pride, my power is not a topic of discussion." She paused a moment and shook her head, "Do not mistake my words for self-pity or a lack of pride, though. My pride and resolve lies elsewhere. Power is not the only way to achieve a goal, although it does seem to be everyone's first choice. Good or bad, people get swept up in it like a big tide."

Celeh did a little more with the Oozaru form. She was surprisingly nimble, a carry over of her normal fighting style. It was almost awe inspiring to see a great ape move so fluidly, as if she didn't tower well above the surroundings. Then she raised her finger in the air and blasted the moon ball, shattering it. Ninjin felt his muscles shrink and the fur pull back into his body. The muzzle crushed back into his face as the bones grew and reformed into a more humanoid nose. With a grin Ninjin opened his eyes to Celeh standing before him.
Her words surprised him.
It was true that Leke's power rivaled Celeh's, but he was the prince! Or he had been. The training that he was given was some of the best in the entire galaxy and his genes all but ensured that he would be powerful. With Celeh it was not so. Ninjin had no idea where her strength came from, but the solider was incredibly modest about it. It was clear that she would not accept the compliment and so Ninjin merely nodded.
"No, power is not the only way of getting what one wants. Nor should it be relied on as such. It's great to have as a backup plan though." Ninjin let out a sigh and felt his stomach rumble. How could he be so hungry in the afterlife?
"Gee I'm starved." Ninjin rubbed his stomach absentmindedly. Going into his Oozaru form always left his voracious appetite wanting food.

Maybe it was focusing so hard, maybe it was the transformation, or maybe it was because she hadn't eaten since she got here, but Celeh's stomach chimed right along with Ninjin's in a hungry growl just a short few moments after the man's gut had done so. Celeh just gave a hearty laugh and smiled, "Even in the afterlife, we're still Saiyans, it seems. It's good to know that not everything has changed..." She trailed off at that, glancing away from her friend and toward the small house that this place had given her. She felt like a different person, in truth. With her old life having ended, she felt like she could start anew. She felt like she could finally listen to her own heart and think for herself without having to hold her tongue or restrain her actions for the sake of others. Discipline was a part of who she was before, and that likely would not change. But the quiet, reserved soldier would no longer feel a need to hold back. There were no orders to follow or guidelines to uphold save for the ones she decided herself. And she would do them her own way.
"I'm sure there's food in my house. I haven't eaten much since I got here, oddly. I guess I've been too distracted with other things. Thinking, mostly, and figuring out what I could do here. Why don't you come with me and we'll continue our chat over a bite to eat. I just hope heaven has accommodations for Saiyan appetites..." She gave a light chuckle again and turned to head for her home. "As much as I hate to admit it, I know that training...and the technique...will definitely come in handy in the future. Even if I'm stuck here in the afterlife, I bet I can find alternative training methods with them. I'm starting to wonder if there are others like us here, though. Others who lived in the heart of battle and are ill at ease due to their fighting natures."

The former crown prince of the Saiyans laughed as the former soldier's stomach let out a similar growl to his. She glanced over towards a small house and the male's eyes followed. Ninjin couldn't be sure but he thought he smelled food on the wind. As if she could read his mind she said there was food in the small house, and Ninjin was surprised to learn that it belonged to Celeh. He himself had not "settled down" in Heaven so to say. Instead he had flitted around, sleeping where and when he may. The majority of his time had been spent training and participating in the Eternal Tournament.
"I'd be happy to accompany you for a bite to eat. I'm starving!"
Celeh invited Ninjin to the small house for some food and continued conversation and so the Saiyan followed gladly, happy for a chance to get some food. Celeh's next bit had him confused though. Of course there were others like them. Had she not heard of the Eternal Tournament? Heaven was a massive place. Yet there was no shortage of room and opportunity for training.
"There are no shortage of training opportunities Celeh. I have met legendary heroes that wish to impart their knowledge upon others. Somewhere around here is a Colosseum that houses The Eternal Tournament. Any that wish to may join and compete. I have been through a few rounds myself. The level of skill is beyond almost anything I combated on Earth."
When they arrived at the door to the house that Celeh was living in Ninjin stopped short. It was her house after all, he wouldn't be entering before her.

She had never heard of the Eternal Tournament. This news did give her a bit of hope for what was to come later on, though. Other fighters and heroes from eras gone by meant that she could learn a plethora of valuable skills from being here. Whether or not they would be willing to teach her was another matter entirely, though. The soldier opened the door to her home and the smell of a full four course meal immediately hit the two saiyans from inside the home. Soup, salad, dinner, and dessert were all set on the table, for two persons of their appetite, and it all looked to be freshly made.
"That is very convenient." Celeh commented with a smile as she went inside and left Ninjin to follow up and close the door behind them. "I haven't been told anything about an Eternal Tournament. I'm guessing it goes on...until the fighters decide they're done having matches, correct? It's an interesting concept, to be certain. I might seek out the coliseum and see how I fair against the heroes of past eras. I'm sure you've compared quite well with them, yes?" The soldier sat down at the table and took a deep breath, pulling a bowl of noodles with mushrooms, onion, and pork in it over to her. She began to eat rather hastily, but paused after downing the first bowl to ask, "Were any of them willing to teach you some of their skills? Or did you try to learn them through battle?"

The smell that wafted out of the soldier's house was mesmerizing, enchanting, mouth-watering. It nearly lifted Ninjin off of his feet and pulled him towards the table, but the former Crown-Prince restrained himself and with a smile allowed Celeh to enter first with a gentlemanly bow, then quickly followed after her, enticed by the aromas the cottage contained.
Ninjin let out a small chuckle at Celeh’s words. Convenient? This was heavenly. What lay before his eyes rivaled the feasts they used to have in celebration back at the palace on New Vegeta. This was the type of afterlife he could get used to.
“I was not told of it either. Rather, I happened upon it in my exploration of Heaven.”
Ninjin sat and began to pile large helpings of the delicious looking food onto his plate and then dug in with gusto. The former prince smiled at her compliment.
“Yes I have fared rather well. I would encourage you to seek out the tournament, there are many great heroes with many things to teach. I have learned much, beyond even what the academy could teach, or my personal trainers on New Vegeta. Some would no doubt be willing to teach, others no doubt would require a martial show of skill before accepting anything. I have not learned any specific techniques from them, but they have helped me master and better my Super Saiyan form.”
The food began to call to him once more and he dug in again.

Celeh had already downed another plate, this one of rice, chicken, and shrimp with a garlic and cheese sauce. The soldier's appetite wasn't even close to sated yet, and after devouring this second plate she guzzled a glass of water to wash it down. "So you were looking around and happened upon it? That is some luck you have!" She chuckled lightly and leaned back in her chair, thinking for a moment.
"Super Saiyan? You mean the golden power I saw you use on Mement Mor. I wondered if it had a name. Isn't it supposed to be just a legend from Saiyan history? I know the saviors of earth used that power in the legends, but I never imagined it would be real." Her mind seemed stuck on that thought, her eating having slowed considerably as she had to keep some focus to think about the fact that Super Saiyan really did exist. Her appetite hastily reminded her that she was here for food, though, and the soldier went back to stuffing herself with the delicious food that had somehow appeared in her home without anyone present to cook it. If heaven had automated food service on demand then she would not be upset about her stay here in the slightest.
"If the form is innate to our people, then how can you master something that's apart of you? is there...a lock on the golden power or something?"
