Since Saito's return to the realm of the active, he had noticed a couple of things. One important matter was Ethan, who avoided the elder brother at all cost. The next and far more important thing of note was the capacity of the Crane school. After saving Sonya's village the student load had increased to thirteen. Twelve students, and their unit leader Sonya. Though Sonya was still a student herself, Saito reminded her that even students inherit greater responsibility. Hell Saito was still a student training under Kaladar and the Fuhrer. If he could be a student, and yet a master at the same time, surely she could handle it. Though Saito still had training of his own to accomplish he found that he had less time for it than he had before. It had been nearly a week since everyone had moved in and Saito had only trained two days on Kami's lookout. He hadn't the trust built up that would allow him to leave Sonya with the brood, though she was truly a fighter. Her attitude in the dojo was authoritative and responsible. Meanwhile in Saito's room she was far more ornery. Always arguing about his teaching methods or what they were learning and in what order. Saito had forgotten entirely about his promise to Della. That the next time she came by he would do more than talk with her. The genie had saved his life and taken Azazels. Though she was powerful, she possessed a different power that had aided in both happenings. It was not her basic energy, or even a transformation state that Saito recognized. Clearly she had ascended to a level he was unable to, and the thought of that was intriguing. He wanted to know how such power had been a positive embrace for Della, and yet had drove Azazel to insanity. Saito could feel that very same energy bubbling inside himself, but to unleash it before he was ready would be a mistake. He would be humiliated to activate such a power only to lose his mind. He had to get a grip on how to control himself, and then force the idea without having the power to actually replicate the transformation. In this, he hoped that sparring with Della would increase his power control, and perhaps give him new insight on fighting someone so overwhelmingly more powerful. Saito was teaching a class in the main training room. The Gravity chamber was at twice the normal gravity of Earth. Saito could hardly feel it, but his students were struggling to complete basic exercises. He ran through all of the drills, doing push ups and sit ups as well as several fighting stances. Simply holding their arms in place was difficult due to the gravity. But Saito felt no pity for them, even the younger ones who struggled even more. He knew this was good for them, and the fact that his encumbered body was even heavier than their own made him cold to the idea of turning the gravity down. While they trained, Sonya completed her required chores for the day. Each student was expected to help in maintaining the dojo, and because Sonya had already mastered up to fifteen times the normal gravity of Earth, she was excused from the training. She sat in the doorway with a paintbrush, applying a fresh coat of paint to the already chipping frame. Anyone entering the dojo would have to go through her.

Della hummed to herself as she wandered the streets of Central City, certainly it would have been far faster to get to her destination by flying or through the use of Shunpo but she was not in any particularly big hurry, technically speaking she did not even know if she would have the chance to meet with the person she sought to speak with today as she had no clue on if he would be at the one place she was certain that he frequented. Ultimately she felt it was rather likely that Saito would be at his dojo at this time, he had mentioned being the master of it and masters tended to remain at there school unless it was required that they depart, they had students who could go forth and do more minor tasks for them while they oversaw and directed the training of others.
Then again there was also the possibility that Saito lacked students, when she had last visited the building certainly possesed the equipment necessary for training many people but had been distinctly lacking in actual people to train, in total three people had been in that building as far as she could sense, Saito and Della themselves, and Ethan Saito's younger brother. Della was unsure if Ethan was an actual student of Saito or a teacher alongside him as simply going off of power was not necessarily a good indicator as while Ethan was much weaker than his sibling he was FAR stronger than most others.
Strolling along Della eventually caught sight of the building and grinned, soon enough she would know the answer to whether Saito was home and as well if he had any students, in the blink of an eye Della vanished from her position outside the School's property and reappeared a few feet away from the entrance and immedietly Della found that there was a new addition to the Dojo, a young woman at the entrance to the dojo idly working on painting the building. Even relaxed Della could feel that the girl was reasonably strong, somewhere in the same ballpark as Ethan which meant that she was just as likely to be a student as Ethan was.
"Excuse me, Hello. I am looking for Saito. Is he by chance here?" Della questioned in order to bring the girls attention onto her, the question was not actually a necessary one as already she could sense Saito inside the building along with a number of other power signatures all of which were spiking and dipping in power in a manner reminiscent to how energy reacted to active training. The question was more to see how the girl would answer, would she try to lie for some reason? Regardless of how the girl intended on responding Della would eventually make her way into the building to meet with Saito but this method would more easily allow her to not need to have Saito come to her and interrupt his work, if the girl allowed her entrance she could simply make her way to Saito herself.

One of the many recurring arguments between Saito and Sonya involved her people skills. In the Dojo it was acceptable to be loud, obnoxious, and overbearing. Frankly it was that attitude that often pushed students to try harder. A no nonsense, no corners cut, method of speaking. Yet in public it came across as rude because it was. It was rude. Sonya was rude. She had the most aggressive way of rubbing someone the wrong way, which had undoubtedly caused the fight that Saito had been in with her at their first meeting. So when Della walked up the cobblestone path of the Crane school she was not greeted by the man whom would have been happy to see her, and was instead caught in a one way conversation with the pit-bull painting the doorway. Her attire was far different from what it had been at the village. Before she had worn very little, having long thick pants and a single bear pelt to cover herself. Having been spoiled by the Central City market district she was pleased to be wearing a far more suitable teenage attire. She had always seen such styles in old magazines, however now she could actually be a part of it. She had cut her violet hair and added several thin layers of clothing. At least thin by her standards. Central was at least fifty degree's warmer on average than her village, especially at night. Her new attire, accompanied with a pair of jeans to wrap up the ensemble, made her appear less threatening. Her attitude did not.
Cranking her head to the right she saw Della. An intruder. In all of her time at the dojo, the entire week of it, she had not encountered a visitor. It was obvious to her that this individual was a threat, and the fact that she knew Saito by name probably meant she was here to kill him. That’s what it meant in the village. If the Mercenaries knew your name, it was because you were a trouble maker who needed to be put down. Master Rowan had forever given himself a name among the mercenaries, and in the previous months Sonya had done the same. If Saito had enemies, Sonya surely wasn't going to let them waltz on inside and cause a scene. No, she wasn't that naive.
"Who wants to know?"
She said, putting emphasis on the who. Saito certainly didn't seem like the flirting type, and this girl was very attractive. Perhaps it was because the Women Sonya knew were all lacking in hygiene or special clothing, but this girl was definitely going to turn heads. Taking a step out of the doorway only revealed that Sonya was rather short, standing at just above five feet. Perhaps fine for her age, she was unlikely to grow any taller, a whole foot below most of the other students, and of course Della. This did not shake her confidence however as she held the paint brush at her hip, putting her other hand there as well. It was an old fashion standoff. Della's next choice of words would decide quickly how this played out. Sonya needed little reason to pick a fight and being unable to sense energy as of yet she had little reason to fear Della.

Della raised an eyebrow at the young woman finding herself slightly amused by the rather abrupt distaste she appeared to have for her already, as far as Della knew she had not done anything that should have set the girl off, at least not YET. There was a very good chance that down the road she could make a comment or do something that might aggravate the young woman but as of yet she had yet to interact with her outside of her initial statement. Perhaps it was simply apart of the girl's personality, confrontational and aggressive. Della knew.. well HAD known a few people like that. Truthfully while she was unlikely to admit such Della herself had been much the same way in her youth and unfortunately for many Della had also been one of the more powerful beings on the Earth in her time. The mixture of aggressiveness and raw power was... dangerous if those around such a person did not know how to act to avoid setting you off.
Della certainly did KNOW how to act to avoid such a situation, but having the information and acting upon it were to very different things. The girl before he posed no real threat unless she had within her an insane amount of untapped power more so than even Saito possessed(unless of course Saito himself had a lot of hidden power as well) and as Della was in no particular rush poking at the girl a bit held no problem beyond the girl perhaps making a foolish attempt to further bar her from entering the dojo.
"A friend of his" Della said with a smile that held a distinct air of amusement, Della was doing everything in her power to show the girl that she saw her as no threat at all, her body clearly relaxed and her hands clasped behind her back as she spoke "Now if you do not mind I would like to enter" Della said taking a step forward as if expecting that the girl would simply move out of her way so that she could proceed. Della was curious exactly how well her mild attempts to agitate the girl would actually work, the girl certainly seemed worked up to start so perhaps it would not take much to set her off.
"You are like a child..." Jenns voice muttered catching Della off guard somewhat, her other half had been surprisingly quiet for quite some time and her sudden 'return' was unexpected to say the least "I need to have my fun somehow" Della thought back giving Jenn the mental equivalent of a shrug.

Saito Kito had many things in this world. He had a dojo with lots of training equipment. He had thirteen loyal students. He had a brother, or as Sonya understood it many. He had blond hair, one working eye, and enough Ki to clear the city block. But something Saito did not have was friends. While Sonya considered herself close to her Sensei, she knew he had a tough exterior. He wasn't particularly funny, at least not from her perspective, and he was hardly interesting to hold a solid conversation with. She had never once seen someone come in just to chat with him, and now in strolls some woman who had already managed to get on Sonya's last nerve. She had been painting the front exterior of the dojo all morning, and now was nearly finished. Sweaty, covered in white paint, and completely uninterested in being tested today she was instantly goaded into confrontation with Della.
"Oh of course, a friend. Why didn't you say so. I'll let him know you are here!"
She said in a sickeningly sweet voice that was so painfully sarcastic she couldn't have been clearer about her intention if she flat out told Della she wasn't going to just let her in. In all honesty Della hadn't done anything wrong. It just appeared that she had caught Sonya on the wrong day, at the wrong time. That, and Saito had mentioned that there were people who would see him dead. While Della hardly looked the part it had set Sonya on edge. She had obsessed about it all night and now here came this lady claiming to be his friend. Well to hell with that! Dropping the paintbrush into the bucket of paint next to her Sonya took a step forward, twirling her hair as though she were a little girl.
"Forgive my asking for your name. See I was born yesterday and all of this is still brand SPANKIN NEW TO ME!"
She yelled, finally breaking character. Her nose had ruffled in her signature angry appearance but other than that she was far less than threatening. It was clear to both of them at this point that neither was dangerous, but one need not be dangerous to have attitude. Reaching into her pocket Sonya found a small black band. Putting both hands behind her head the teenager wrapped the back of her short hair into a pony tail that curved slightly to the left. This was the last thing Sonya did before fighting anyone, and although physical blows had not been exchanged, she sure as hell wasn't going to waste time later putting her hair up. She had to be prepared just in case this bitch tried anything funny. While those exact thoughts raced through her young mind, a figure appeared in the doorway behind her. His shadow exclipsed the comparatively small girl. It would take Sonya a moment to notice the figure, but Della would recognize instantly the scarred face of Saito Kito standing behind the sassy teenager. Looking to his left at the paint job on the doorway, and then to his right as he took a step out, Saito spoke.
"Here I thought you were yelling at the doorway. Good morning Della."
He said, looking down on Sonya who turned to face her teacher. There was an awkward pause before Saito continued.
"You look finished out here. Why don't you put the paint away before someone knocks the can over. Della, I was just in the middle of a lesson, care to come inside?"
His words were expressed with a little added enthusiasm. When last Della ventured his direction he was an emotional wreck. His school had no students and Saito had no real look into his future. Surprisingly, this was only about a month ago. Now his school had at least a few students, and more importantly Saito was even stronger. Surely Della could feel it as he kept no secrets as far as his base power was concerned. Anyone whom had met Saito in the past would be able to tell that after his trip through the mountains, he stood a little taller. Sonya made a nearly inaudible growl and the moved quickly to Kit's left, grabbing the paint and heading into the dojo. Saito on the other hand stayed outside with Della, a proud grin plastered on his face. He had hoped she would one day return, and even more so he had hoped she would return once he had something to show for himself. Today was that day.

It took quite a lot for Della to suppress amused laughter as the young woman spoke, her tone alone showed that the girl was NOT in a particularly good mood and her prodding had almost certainly not done a whole lot to alleviate that temper, though the girl was clearly being quite sarcastic with what she said it was in reality probably the most logical course of action for the girl at the very least looking to get someone to retrieve Saito would be a good idea as simply leaving to get him herself would of course provide Della with ample opportunity to waltz right into the dojo unhindered.
The girls sudden shift from false-sweetness and sarcasm to roaring fury was enough to send Della over the edge and elicited a brief bout of laughter, the girl certainly had the attitude to back up the power that flared up as she shouted a sign that she really was rather annoyed and that she likely needed a bit more work on controlling her energy and of course her temper. All things considered though despite her tone and power the girl lacked much in the way of a particularly threatening demeanor, her temper though certainly made up for that but Della could not quite imagine the girl despite all that power Della could feel bubbling beneath the surface, ever inspired particularly much fear in the hearts of those around her.
Della raised an eyebrow as the girl started to tie her hair up in a tight pony-tail a clear sign when combined with the way she was moving and her anger that she was getting ready for a fight, it impressed Della greatly that in spite of what appeared to be a rather significant amount of anger packed inside the tiny girl she had the clarity of mind to tie her hair back in what was a clear effort to prevent distraction during a fight. As the girl prepared for a fight that she could most certainly not win Della spotted a familiar figure approaching from behind her.
Saito, the young man seemed to be doing quite a bit better than the last time they had met, the month between meetings had certainly been more than enough for Saito to get himself in a much better place and hopefully he had managed to sort out everything with Ethan. Della chose to remain silent for the moment as Saito spoke to his (she presumed) student the girl snatched up the paint with a clear growl of annoyance before stomping back inside the building, once the girl was gone Della let out another amused chuckle as she returned her attention to Saito.
"I would love to Saito, you and your Dojo appear to be doing quite well." Della said with a grin waiting a moment to make sure the girl was quite gone before continuing "One of your students I assume? I like her, she's got a lot of fire in her." She said with an amused grin, a bit of tempering on the girls hair trigger anger response and she was likely to make for a rather impressive fighter if her power was any indicator.

It was good to see her again. Leading the fellow warrior inside the Dojo would appear entirely different from the last time she was in it. Not that Saito had changed its appearance, but rather the fullness of it. The difference between two men living in a building, and fifteen was considerable. There was noise up in the training room where the other students were gathered and awaiting Saito's return. He led Della into the room and gestured to a bench hanging on the southern wall. The other students were all facing North and were not permitted to sit, and Saito made his way back to the front of his class. He disliked leaving Della so quickly after her arrival, but his class required attention and giving them a break now would in no way benefit their training. Della appeared to be enjoying herself, a devious grin plastered on her face from the encounter with Sonya, and so Saito continued his lesson at the front.
"I apologize for the delay. We have a special guest with us today. A good friend of mine, one whom made certain that being blinded in one eye was the worst of my injuries. Everyone show your respect to Miss Della"
The class of twelve young boys turned to look at the genie. They were all between the ages of 13 and 15, and each wore the same white uniform for training. None of them were particularly strong as of yet, but each showed a potential greater than the average human being. None more so than the bitter sixteen year old standing in the doorway. Sonya had put the paint away and was watching the classroom. Della was no longer a threat, but being embarrassed in front of her left a mark. Rolling her eyes as Saito spoke she whispered under her breath, so quietly no one else could hear. Well, none of the students anyway. Saito and Della were undoubtedly sensative to their surroundings and would hear her words in their entirety.
"She doesn't look so great to me"
"An example then!"
Saito said in immediate response. Sonya always had an attitude and although she was truly the top of her class, and even held her own against Ethan now and again, she was hardly ready for any real combat. Saito thought often of his fight with Kemuri. He had been stronger than her current strength when reaching the lookout, which means even with strict training with Mr. Popo she would still be ill prepared to face any of Kemuri's brood. The best way to test this theory however was to pit her against someone who could relate to such an occupation. Della had been standing on the dark side of the combat at the start of the conflict, perhaps it was time to show Sonya exactly what a powerful being was capable of.
"Sonya, come to the center, you will be an excellent example for this lesson"
With that Saito made his way through the double layer of young students over to where he had left Della. Before stopping at her location however he turned, making a B-line for a computer console on the side wall. Instinctively all of the boys in the room backed up against the southern wall where Della was sitting. Most of them too shy to sit directly next to her, she still had a nicel bubble around her that was free from the stench of training teenagers. Saito fiddled with the machine for a moment as Sonya entered the area that the boys had left. Her hair began to sag as she reached the middle of the room and with any observation what so ever it would be clear that she was under the effects of gravity. Saito finished his configurations and made his way over to Della, speaking in a less commanding tone than before.
"I know I promised you a spar, would you mind warming up in front of my students?"
He asked, looking over at Sonya, who despite being under the maximum gravity she could handle was still holding her attitude together.

As they entered the building Della marveled at how different the building felt with what appeared to be very little actual change to it, everything was still as she remembered more-or-less but it simply felt... right... before it had been quite empty, a very large dojo that was at the time really only housing two people as far as Della knew as back then it was likely that Saito had not had any students quite yet as the dojo had only just been finished and Saito himself had been away for a fair amount of time due to his injuries incurred in the battle. Now with what she could more easily feel to be thirteen additional power signatures the building simply radiated a sense of fullness, the once empty rooms were seeing frequent use now with the most notable of course being the primary instruction room.
Once inside Della got her first look at the students themselves, power alone told the person reading such signatures very little about a person, Della had never quite developed the keen senses some of the Guardians possessed the ability to quite literally feel the darkness within a person to truly be able to tell simply by looking at someone and feeling there energy that they were an innately good or evil person(at least by the standards of the Guardian) so upon seeing that Saito's students were all on the lower end of the teens Della found herself amused, such a thing was quite common in her day, in fact some of the students would be essentially 'adults' by the old standards. But from what she understood modern standards were wildly different, adulthood was something of a debated topic but generally fell after the teenage years were over.
Della found herself curious on where Saito's students were from, local families? Orphans looking for something better to do in life? There were certainly options aplenty and Saito seemed likely to be the type willing to take anyone as a student so long as they were willing to learn, the feisty girl from the front door was a prime example. Della's thoughts continued to wander as she took her seat at the bench her gaze drifting from student to student as they in turn stole glances at her while also endeavoring to keep eyes on there master.
Dellas amused grin widened slightly as she heard Sonya's comment, she wondered idly if the girl was doubting her based on appearances alone. She would have guessed that a girl such as Sonya someone quite lacking in the physical intimidation department would be a bit... better... about such things, though perhaps it was simply a lack of exposure to powerful warriors. Saito was certainly a good indicator of a powerful fighter but if Saito alone was what the children were exposed to it would become quite easy for them to believe that there master was the strongest fighter there was to be informed that there was someone who had from Saito's statement been the reason he was not injured even more grievously than he currently was would be a tough statement to believe in full.
Sonya herself seemed quite fixed in her assumptions of how powerful certain people were, she was the strongest of Saito's students and could probably give Saito himself a decent fight both things that would do quite a lot to grow the girls ego. It seemed however that Saito was rather keen on deflating that ego a bit with his next suggestion as he called Sonya to the middle of the room and then began working with a set of controls at the far side of the room. Della felt a strangely familiar hum in the air, the feeling of a field of increased gravity coming to life and not a moment after Della saw Sonya's body react to entering the gravity field.
Della gave the others a grin as they scurried to the wall that her bench was up against, they all seemed to be keeping there distance somewhat once the field was ready Saito made his way back over to her "I suppose it could be a bit of fun, it will give me a chance to stretch a bit, luckily I have made ample progress in my ability to restrain my power." Della said with a grin as she stood from the bench "I imagine you would not have been particularly pleased if I ended up breaking one of your students" Della said with an amused laugh as she began to walk casually toward the center of the room, it truly was quite lucky that she had advanced her control over her own power, without the additional control Della was not entirely sure she could have actually held back enough to even safely strike the girl.
Entering the gravity field Della's hair seemed to take on a life of it's own for a moment her front bangs shortening in length and her normally slightly wild mane of a ponytail becoming a bit more tame and bundled. "You look quite confident dear, but I suppose that makes a bit of sense. You are Saito's strongest pupil from what I can feel and to that I must say I am a touch impressed. But..." Della said trailing off slightly and giving the girl an grin "I would still wager that there is nothing you could possible do that could make me move from this spot." Della said tapping one foot against the floor and causing a tight red circle to appear around her one lacking anything in the way of space for Della to actually maneuver. "And I will even back up that wager with something, if you CAN make me step outside this circle and assuming Saito takes no issue with it. I will teach you any one technique I possess and I do know quite a few interesting tricks."Her offer laid out Della cast a brief glance at Saito curious to see what he thought of the idea, if the girl actually impressed her enough with her efforts there was a rather fair chance that Della would simply teach her a technique anyway assuming Saito did not mind but the offer was one intended to both set off the girls anger through the clear insult to her strength, but also to give her something to work towards, a goal for the fight that amounted to something more than just 'hit Della a whole bunch' it would hopefully give her focus and make her think a bit more.

Sonya was surprised to hear her name brought up. Saito rarely called her into combat in front of the other students. She was far above their own skill level, and too far below Saito for any legitimate sport to be made in their presence. When Della came to the center however it became clear what she was to do. It was not uncommon to end pointless squabbles in the ring. This was Sonya's chance to show Saito that he didn't need allies like Della popping in on them. She would give her a couple of good welts and send her crying back to whatever hole in the wall she crawled out of. Confidently she made her way to the center of the room. As she reached the center Della began to speak. She had laughed about breaking Saito's students, but now boasted even further. Sonya's face grew red with anger as Della suggested she couldn't be moved from that single spot. Despite making it a legitimate wager she was far too angry to take advantage of it.
“Keep talking...just keep talking...keep your techniques, I'll teach you about humiliation!”
She said as the gravity began to intensify. Her first move would be distinct and bold. There was no need to waste time with this one. She would remove Della from the floor without a problem Starting only three feet away from her, their bodies nearly touching. When Saito said go she didn't waist a moment. Dropping, both hands hit the ground, her right leg extending out to try and trip the genie. The gravity had aided in her body taking the dive and Sonya was certain that Della would have no choice but to jump into the air, removing her feet from the ground. Not only would this end her boasting, but leave her ready for Sonya's uppercut which would come next. It was all a part of her plan.
Saito watched from the sidelines, his students sitting behind him. They were whispering about the fighters, some even offering to make bets. Saito knew better. No matter how tough Sonya thought she was, Della was stronger. The genie had earned great admiration with Saito. Not only had she explained her life story, but that story had been quite personal. Her trust, along with his genuine compassion for her made it all the more embarrassing that Sonya had been acting the way she had. Though he felt for her as well. Sonya was his best student, and they had shared an experience in battle as well. Della would be able to teach her humility and put to rest the bad attitude that she had adopted over the last couple weeks.

With no inclination from Saito that he was against the wager and in spite of Sonya's statement that she could 'keep her techniques' Della began to ponder exactly what technique she would suggest to the girl once this was over assuming she managed to do well enough to impress her. Shape shifting was a bit out of the question, that technique was a bit too personal to simply hand down to the girl now. Perhaps to Saito one day if they remained friendly but for as much as she enjoyed Sonya she could not see herself passing that particular set of techniques down to her.
In the back of her mind as Della ran through her list of techniques Della noted that the match had begun, the shift in the gravity placing additional weight on the everything, without a moments hesitation Sonya sprung into action bringing Della's attention away from her thoughts and back onto the 'fight' as Sonya darted forward. To many of the other students it would perhaps be as if the girl was moving too fast for them to even keep up with, she was in fact reasonably powerful far more so than the others and she was making no effort to hold back as far as Della could tell.
But for Della the situation was entirely different, it was much like the girl was moving in slow motion, she could perceive every small shift in the girls actions, to Della it was as plain as day what the girl was aiming for, she wanted to trip her, maybe force her to leap in an effort to claim she had left the circle or perhaps as a means of launching another attack. Regardless all of the girls plans rested firmly upon the idea that her actions would in some way be effective.
Della could have quite easily made things even, given the girl a chance in some way. But the girl needed to learn a lesson, having a short fuse was fine, anger could be made useful if you tempered it with enough skill and SOME self control. Sonya however was simply letting herself be utterly ruled by her emotions and with clearly no ability to comprehend power differences she was a danger to others around her. She packed enough power to kill people by accident if she used even a fair fraction of her strength.
And so Della held nothing back she tensed her body just enough that when Sonya's kick landed it would be much like a normal person kicking a steel beam. Utterly futile and probably rather bad for her leg. Della casually turned her head to look at the girl receiving a fist directly to the chin as a response as the girl followed through with her plan of attack, much like her leg however Della's chin did not yield to the force of Sonya's blow the strike not even enough to move her even a fraction of an inch.
"Oh, were we starting?" Della said with a small smirk as she snatched Sonya's wrist before the girl had a chance to recoil from her own failed attack on Della. "You certainly have some potential" Della said with an amused smirk as she stressed the word 'some' "But you really ought to perhaps learn a bit of self control, learn to understand when an opponent is bluffing, or when they are really quite serious about the difference in power between you and them." Della instructed as her fist lashed out with lightning speed just a moment after she released Sonya's wrist. The blow would slam the girl dead center in the chest and quite likely send her hurtling back.
"Lucky you I have quite a bit of practice in how to control the flow of my energy. I only used I would say about five percent of my full strength for that particular punch so you should be in a fair amount of pain but more than capable of getting back up." Della said flashing the girl a cocky grin before quickly shifting to a serious expression "You however lack anything resembling control. You throw all of your power into every blow, you certainly believed yourself to be my better but made no effort to see how far above me you stood. You could very well have been striking a normal person with that power, your kick would have at best broken a normal persons leg. The punch, the punch most likely would have KILLED an ordinary person."
"You should invest a bit of your time into learning how to manage that temper of yours. Any half decent opponent WILL take advantage of it, anger CAN be useful in a fight, angry people put there all into attacks and tend to inflict a lot more damage. But that same anger can be blinding if you let it as you already have. "
"Now come at me again Sonya, show me why you are Saito's best."

As her body hit the ground, Sonya knew her attack would hit its mark. True to her words Della would not freely move from that spot, and Sonya was about to knock her out of it. Their legs made contact and for a second it seemed as though nothing had transpired. Sonya's brain triggered a response creating a signal of pain from her shin. How had she been able to stand still? She couldn't focus on her momentary failure, scrambling into a crouched position she leapt up, throwing her right hand at the girls chin, preparing her left to pummel her chest. Her hand however felt the impact of Della's chin in a manner most unexpected. A snap could be heard echoing through the dojo, and it wasn't Della's chin. Sonya had driven her own hand into what stood an impenetrable wall, and in the process broken her middle finger. Taking a deep breath she prepared to recoil her hand until Della took hold of it. She raised the girl up into the air until her feet dangled from the floor and spoke.
While Sonya was in a mix of pain, fear, and humiliation, Saito was not. He had predicted this outcome from the begining and was less than pleased watching it. Not that Della had done anything wrong, but the fact that any of this was necessary bothered him. Sonya had come from a rough background, and her natural flare was an asset that would serve her well. Della was right in saying such anger could be controlled or manipulated. Hopefully in facing the genie she had learned that much. Saito's thoughts lingered on the concept learning a technique from Della. Though at her best Sonya was only ten percent of Della's power, Saito believed himself to be at least a little more than that. The challenge would be difficult but possible, and the attacks Saito had seen already, the few she had shown that day on the lookout, impressed him. He watched as Della made the final blow of their conversation, landing a firm fist into Sonya's chest and sending her skidding, and then rolling, across the floor. Wrapping one arm across her chest she stood.
There were no witty remarks this time. What could she say? Della obviously was a lot stronger than Sonya had given her credit for, and now she was in a predicament. A single punch had knocked the wind out of her, and her own shin and right hand were throbbing simply by striking the woman. She took a couple deep breaths and looked around the room as if hoping for a reprieve. None would come, nor was it really needed. Once the initial shock subsided Sonya felt the helplessness of anger rising in her still burning chest. Della was right, anger could be used correctly, and with a little information Sonya could outmanuever her opponent. She knew now that physical attacks were not going to be useful against her, which left a single choice. Energy. Raising both hands above her head Sonya squinted. Normally it took several rounds of combat for her to feel this fatigued. Della was no teacher like Saito was. Saito would take his time, hitting non vital areas and allowing the combat to go on. Della was much more abrupt, a tactic Sonya obviously needed.
"Fine...Lets use this one..."
She said as her hands began to glow a bright yellow. The other students looked on in awe. They had never before seen Sonya's hidden technique. It was one she saved for dire situations, and in this case desperate times called for desperate measures. This attack had been able to stand up to Saito's spirit gun and would be more than a sweep kick or an uppercut. The yellow energy cracked as it charged. Usually a wait time of no more than three seconds was necessary, but with Della standing in one place, Sonya took a couple extra seconds to charge the blast in her hands. If she was going to make a show of her abilities she had might as well do it right.
"Masenko-Ha!"
She called forth the final words that would launch the attack, a beam of yellow energy leaping out of her palms, through the gravity enriched chamber and directly at the genie warrior whom had thus far been impossible to move. Its force was the most she could muster, pulling out as much energy as she could. Her anger was not simply an emotion. At this point it had done just as Della predicted, it had enhanced her power. She had been no more that fifty thousand in power before, now however she was double that, and her attack slightly higher than that. Della had inadvertantly, or potentially purposefully, taught Sonya to channel her anger into what would be Sonya's focus state. Her hair began to stand on end much like Saito's. Her muscles grew not in size but in tone, and her eyes fueled white with rage rather than teal with focus. It was a different focus state, but one that harbored the same effect in terms of an increase in power. The question remained whether or not such a blast was capable of pushed Della even a few inches out of her designated circle.

Della cringed ever so slightly an action almost imperceptible to what would likely be most everyone else in the room due to a combination of distance and how well Della was capable of hiding her reactions if she did not want them seen. She had certainly intended for her attack to do some damage, to even fling the girl across the room, but skidding had not been intended and Della was not entirely sure where she had gone wrong there, it could very well have been a matter of either too much or too little power or even simply how the girl had attempted to react to the blow some attempt to maneuver herself into a position to take less harm that instead resulted in additional damage. Thankfully it was nothing long lasting and with a grin Della noted that already the girl was staggering back to her feet her.
Looking Sonya over as she stood Della could not hold back another grin as she noted a major shift in the girls posture and attitude, before she had been tense and furious, but now after a good talking to and a punch to the chest she was focused she was thinking, Della could practically see the wheels in Sonya’s head turning as she thought through her next actions, not simply charging at her with reckless abandon. Curious as to what Sonya would do next Della watched her as began to radiate energy a bright yellow glow surrounding her as she charged up her next attack. Sonya had evidently decided it best to abandon physical attacks and move onto energy backed techniques.
Roaring the name of her technique after a few extra moments of preparation Sonya unleashed a burst of energy that seemed to draw out everything the girl had to offer and then rather suddenly it began to draw out even MORE than what Della had seen the girl capable of as Sonya’s power began to rapidly spike suddenly jumping to a level that compared to the amount of power that Saito himself was putting out, even if Saito’s energy was merely his resting state the fact that she was drawing on that much energy was impressive and exactly what Della had wanted out of the girl, she could see that the girl had taken her words seriously she was using her anger not letting it rule her.
The blast traveled much in the same manner as Sonya herself had, certainly much faster but ultimately to Della still quite a bit like it was in slow motion. It gave her time to form her decision on how she would react to Sonya’s attack. She could very well simply take it head on just as she had taken the girls attacks; the blast was more powerful by a large margin but still paled in comparison to the power Della could muster to defend herself.
She could very well fake it, take the attack and ‘accidentally’ stumble back enough to move out of the circle, but that posed certain risks. It could very well undo some of the work Della had put forth to help the girl break some of that ego, to understand that she was not as invincible as she believed herself to be. A quick decision came to Della, a form of compromise that seemed to be for the best. Rather than ‘taking a dive’ to encourage Sonya or taking the attack without any effect she would put forth a defense as if the attack were a legitimate threat but one she could not simply Shunpo away from. With that in mind Della raised her arms in a defensive posture and just as quickly as she did so her skin began to shift suddenly gone was her smooth skin replaced by armored sapphire scales giving Della a distinctly reptilian appearance just before the blast made impact.
Taking the blast was simple enough and thankfully because of the nature of the blast Della had no need to fake the appearance of having a hard time with resisting the blast, the energy of the technique blocked her face from Sonya’s view and allowed her a few brief moments to relax as the attack clashed with her arms shredding the sleeves of her shirt swiftly followed by a not insignificant amount of damage to the rest of her attire. Once the attack dispersed Della brushed herself off tossing the ragged remains of her top off to the side where it promptly dispersed into a puff of smoke. “Now THAT, was impressive. Right now you look like you could give Saito a run for his money.” Della said with a grin as she took a moment to look the girl over in her new state.
“You are quite talented Sonya-“ Della said briefly pausing as she vanished from her spot within the circle before reappearing behind Sonya “-and one day I think I would like to have a proper fight with you.” Della said giving Sonya a moment to react to her sudden shift in position “But today I fight Saito. Use the time that I am facing him to find a technique you like of mine and I will teach it whenever you want.” Della said once again delivering a blow to Sonya’s chest intended to send her flying not just across the area in which they were fighting but all the way across the room to where the other students were watching the fight, if it looked as if Sonya would be unable to catch herself before hitting the wall a number of pillows would quite suddenly spring into existence to cushion her impact and with that Della would turn her attention away from Sonya and onto Saito particularly out of curiosity over his reaction to how the brief match went but also to give him a look that in and of itself was all Saito would likely need to know that Della wanted him to make his way into the gravity field.

(This is where the gravity actually begins in the thread. The last bit was just for story, please consider)
From Sonya's vantage point, the attack had hit home. Its energy cut through the genie's clothing and even appeared to be doing some damage. Sonya's perception however was incorrect. It was a shared thought around the room, and the students behind Saito murmured with excitement as their senior student performed the technique they had all been anticipating. The Masenko had been Master Rowan's secret technique, and Sonya had been the only one gifted enough to actually perform it. The yellow beam was intimidating and to most of the onlookers there was a definite ferocity about it. Saito knew better. The attack had been strong, and while impressed with her resolve and sudden jump in power level, he was in no way convinced that Della was actually being challenged by the technique. The genie was far too powerful for that Masenko to do much. At its best Della needed a mere ten percent of her full power. To be fair, Sonya's absolute best rested just below Della's base release, and Della was powerful without charging up. Unfortunately for her both Saito and Della could ascend beyond the one hundred thousand she was releasing, and Sonya could not.
When Della disappeared even Saito took a moment to find her. The other students had lost track of her completely, but her movements were not entirely invisible to him. Sonya was also caught off guard. She had begun breathing heavily as her power level began to droop back down to a baser level. Her shoulders jumped as the words left her lips, and a sting of disappointment began to strike her. This disappointment was replaced with fear as the prospect of their duel continuing came into play. Sonya was out of energy after her impressive display. If Della continued, even at her base power level, Sonya would be badly beaten. She looked over to Saito, a nervous plea in her eyes for assistance. Saito however would not respond, only raising his eyebrows as if reminding her that she had gotten herself into this. When Della declared that her fight was with Saito, Sonya exhaled almost in tears. The lesson had been learned.
Saito did not harbor the same fear. He had been training and although his strength was no match for Della at her peak, he had not seen the genie use such power since her time on the lookout. There was a hope that she would not use such power unless her own life was threatened, but Della was a new opponent to Saito. He looked forward to testing her boundaries, and the fact that she still offered the girl her own technique was noble. Walking into the gravity barrier, he hardly felt the weight of it. Saito's body had adjusted to thirty times the Earths normal gravity, and the machine would automatically begin feeling out the users abilities. Della was powerful, but her body was untested in such difficult pressure. For safety, the chamber set itself to twenty times the normal gravity of Earth, a more noticeable effect than it had been before.
"Thank you Della for that excellent example. Class, pay attention to this fight. Many of you have not witnessed a true combat between nearly equal competitors. Currently at my best I still only amount to about twenty percent of Della's capablities. In most cases this would be a fight that I would not willingly accept, however Della's power, much like Sonya's, is far more aggressive when in danger. It is for that reason I believe a fight here would be fair. Unless at any point my opponent changes her mind."
A little chuckle came from the crowd of students, all but Sonya. She didn't find Saito's last statement funny. The fact that a being like Della existed was a little nerve inducing. She had no idea that powers of that caliber even existed and when she met Saito she was convinced she had met the strongest man in the world. Not only was she wrong, but her master didn't seem to have a problem with this. His usual paranoia regarding stronger individuals wasn't present against Della. Perhaps, she thought, this individual was truly an ally. Saito had not gone into detail about his past, or about his injuries. Thinking back to before her spar, she remembered her masters words. Della had ensured that blindness was the only consequence he faced. Had she saved his life in combat? The girl was naive to the true dangers of the world, but slowly her eyes were opening.
Saito got into position, a small shimmer becoming visible to della, though not the other students. This was his Ki shield. It was a body armor nearly invisible to the naked eye, however those capable of sensing it would be able to make out the light teal aura that veiled over his skin. It wasn't much, nor was it meant to be. The armor simply acted as a fail safe in the event that Saito did something stupid. A rarity in combat, but a more prevalent ideal against a tougher opponent. With his shielding activated, the Crane master nodded at his opponent and with a cracked smile signified the beginning of their combat. Unlike Sonya, he would not be the first to attack.
