Ethan was glad to see Itan take his hand without issue, he wouldn't have wanted to alienate the other young man by having knocked him down, especially given that it was the purpose of the exercise. With a bit of effort against the gravitational pull of the room and a modicum of grunting, Ethan helped his sparring mate off the ground and back to a standing position. The other boy stated he needed a few moments to rest and Ethan himself could do with the same, he needed to regulate the amount of power he was using else he might end up exhausting himself too quickly under the extreme conditions of the training chamber. Dropping back into a base state and feeling every ounce of his heavy training weights once again, Ethan listed as Itan commented about his board, smiling at the other boy remarking how effective it was. He interpreted that also as a queue by the brown haired young man that he wanted to see it again and s formed the transparent blue construct, although this time sustained by his hand, not his foot. The blue haired teen's assumption turned out to be correct as no sooner had Ethan formed the board then Itan started to examine it's ethereal structure as he spoke about the relative ease he'd have utilizing it as a defensive barrier.
Ethan watched with interest as Itan experimentally used his own energy on the board and as he did so, Ethan could feel the change in the construct's makeup. As Itan continued to explain, Ethan nodded and brushed his own hand over the surface of the board, feeling he understood the mechanics enough to give it a try now. "Ok, I think I get it." the boy started as he gripped the board in both hands now and started to pour more power then he would usually use to maintain it, essentially overcharging the vehicle. He also changed the frequency, or flavor of the energy, normally it matched his own exactly so that only he and someone touching him could ride it, now however it was oscillating ever so slightly, which if Ethan worked it out correctly, would allow anything to interact with the board.
"So how are we going to test this bad boy? you want to hit it or try to blow it up or something" the teen asked, looking quite excited to try out his newly improved toy.

Itan was quite impressed with the both of them. Ethan had picked up the technique quickly, much like his older brother had with the P.O.S.E. If he ever had the opportunity to meet another sibling of theirs, Itan would jump at the opportunity. Ethan was equally as talented as his older brother, sans the years of experience. He was in fact easier to train with than Master Kito. Perhaps it was that Ethan saw Itan as an equal, a title few among the dojo would grave the alien with. When the board lit up like a Christmas tree, Itan knew exactly how to test it. His telekinetic powers had been tested during the first half of their training, and being the only real attack power Itan was capable of, it was his only option now. He faced away from Ethan for a few moments, allowing the two to gather distance from each other.
Itan strolled down the street and was reminded of his neighborhood. Ethan would have no way of knowing just how accurate the simulator was in regards to recreating his home. He passed by the in home lab of professor Brolan. The man had taught Itan everything he had ever known, and in return Itan had helped him develop a prototype for the planets shielding system. The system would never have the opportunity to go online. The attack happened only days after their presentation. Had they only finished a month or two sooner…
He paused, turning around once there was a fair distance between them.
“Get ready. I won’t hold back!”
He said, his excitement for the training overshadowing his melancholy of the setting. With a flip of his wrist a nearby street light tore from the ground and flew at the blue haired crane. Street lamps on Farth were not the same as they were on earth. The lights were round balls of thin metal that hovered in the sky. Levitation allowed for greater street access. There was however a round node in the ground, and now both the metal ball of light and the node from below it were flying at Ethan. Two objects to deflect with his shield.
It was essentially easy enough for Ethan to punch or kick the objects away, but that would sorely defeat the purpose of their game. As if he were pulling his arm through water, Itan swung to his left. Gracefully pulling it back to his front a set of oddly shaped satellites pulled off of the nearby houses. Each one the size of a bowling ball, now flying quickly towards Ethan. This game of rapid fire baseball was fun, at least the pitcher thought so.

Standing by admiring his board and watching Itan, Ethan raised an eyebrow as the other boy turned and started walking down the street without a word. In fact the blue haired boy was about to call out and ask if something was the matter when his brown haired counterpart turned back and stated that he wasn't going to hold back. 'Oh, wow, guess he's going to attack me then.' Ethan though to himself and nodded at Itan. "Ok, I'm ready for anything you can throw at me... I think..." the shirtless boy replied, not exactly sure of the technique yet but certain he'd be able to at least force his board to take somewhat of a beating.
Positioning himself behind the construct and holding into his edges firmly, Ethan gazed through his translucent blue form and watched as Itan summoned up his telekinetic powers once more. With invisible, immaterial hands he wrenched lighting fixtures from the virtual environment and within moments was hurling one such light and it's grounding fixture at him. Tensing up at the moment of impact, Ethan watched as the glowing ball crashed against his anchored board, shattering into a shower of flying sparks and metal shards. An instant later the grand unit followed suit, colliding with the energy construct and it's impact inducing in the board a multicolored lightshow as it too crumbled against the defensive barrier. The shield had held but Ethan could well feel the energy drain, he wasn't accustomed to this kind of channeling and that combined with the strain of the high gravity, was starting to diminish his reserves. But he wanted to press on and wasn't about to stop just because he was getting a little tired.
"Hey, it works!" he called out to Itan. "Come on, let's see what you got, I want to really test the baby out.!"

He never had to ask. By the time Ethan was done requesting that Itan give him a little more, the alien was already ripping apart the neighborhood. Bricks, mailboxes, street lights, and even a small vehicle were torn from their resting place and flew at the young teen. He may have gone overboard the alien thought to himself as he finally stopped and noted the many objects flying towards him. The shielding would be effective, however like most shields it was suseptable to the same weaknesses. While one large attack would cancel out the shield, it was also possible to whittle away at the shielding Ki with smaller attacks. If he threw too many at once, Ethan would not be able to keep up at no fault of his own.
He paused to take a breath. The smile on his face was noticable even from a distance. He was having fun playing with the teen. Yes they were training, but in reality the two were almost goofing off. No matter how much it helped Ethan to learn this technique, it was also fun. A lot of fun. Itan looked to his left to see if he could throw something else, but paused at the destruction. The building to his left was torn a part. He had ripped off the windows, bricks, and even thrown some of the furniture from the room. It was of course a fake environment generated by the simulator, yet Itan's heart very suddenly began to hurt. His smile left him as the memories flooded back. The initial invasion had left most houses looking like this. Tundra and his bastard soldiers had done this to him and his family. Itan had survived only on the merit of his knowledge. His ability to calibrate and perfect the shielding of the planet. Tundra had in fact been impressed with Itan's planetary defenses...despite having been able to break through them.
He paused after that, his mind no longer in the present game. This would give Ethan a chance to respond to all he had done.

Braced and ready for more, Ethan did not have to wait very long, or at all for that matter, for Itan to step up his assault. The brown haired boy started putting on am impressive telekinetic show as he hurled object from all over the neighborhood at Ethan and his board. Each crashed against the construct with a dazzling display of color resulting from every impact. The strain though was enormous, Ethan simply was not used to channeling this much energy and by the time Itan launched an automobile at him, the shirtless teen was leaning into the board, sweat dripping from every inch of his skin. He was able to hold the shield through that impact but after it he was spent. The translucent surf board changed colors once more, the energy in it depleting and the light spectrum it was emitting following suit, shifting from the high energy blue down the rainbow until it his the low energy red and then finally vanished. Without the board his was leaning against for support, Ethan in his newly exhausted state was no longer a match for the intense gravity trying incessantly to drag him to the ground and with a sigh the boy succumbed, dropping to his knees and then one hand, resting amidst the piles of virtual wreckage that had build up around him.
He wasn't completely unaware of what was going on around him though, there was a difference between being tired and not being alert. Quite the contrary really, Ethan was very well aware of everything, most acutely though was his exhausted body. He was also aware that Itan had stopped launching debris at him, but when he would have expected a congratulatory statement from the other young man, he was met only with silence. Looking up, Ethan noted that the other boy looked of all things, despondent. 'What's going on?' the teen asked himself, unaware of the reason for Itan's sudden shift in mood.
"Is, everything.... rrrrrr...." Ethan started, struggling to get up as he spoke. ".. okay over there?" Hauling himself back up, although now with herculean effort just to stay on his feet, Ethan trudged along the street, his body looking as heavy and worn out as he felt. None the less the shirtless teen closed the distance between them and stopped just within arm's reach. "You okay? You look a million miles away." he asked, and bent over, bracing his hands against his knees for better support while standing.

{This topic is now ended. Applying for Power Level increase. My weights are in effect and the topic is under 10 times gravity.
Also acquiring the barrier add-on for my board.}
