[~~~~Previously~~~~]
Returning to the Crane Dojo to meet with Saito for a chance to catch up with the young martial arts master and as an opportunity to see how his skills in battle have progressed Della was stopped at the entrance to the Dojo by one of Saito's students Sonya a fiery redhead who took Della's arrival and attempts to poke fun at her at rather great offense, the brief verbal battle between Sonya and Della was put to an end by Saito's arrival and with that Saito and Della ventured into the Dojo where Della saw just how much Saito had grown the Dojo since last she had seen him now boasting a fair number of students. Introducing Della to his students Saito decided to put Della against Sonya in a brief spar in an effort to teach his strongest student a lesson in humility, a lesson that was swiftly delivered by Della while she also sought teach the girl to control her emotions rather than being controlled by them. The brief exercise unleashed some of Sonya's latent potential and with that Della offered the girl an opportunity to learn one of her techniques whenever she might have interest in doing so. With the warm up complete and Sonya removed from the ring the true battle is set to begin as Saito joins Della in the gravity ring.
[~~~~End~~~~]
Della grinned to herself as she rolled her shoulders and allowed her scales to receded shifting back to her most recent iteration of her ‘preferred’ form, where Jenn had developed a rather specific preferred form that rather rarely changed outside of battle Della often found herself making small tweaks and shifts to her preferred form generally they were made when Della noted something about her form that she grew to dislike, whether Saito would notice it or not Della was a few inches taller than when they had last spoken not enough to make an exceptionally distinct difference but a change that Della had felt was needed, her hair was a few shades darker almost imperceptivity so to anyone who was not Della herself who had spent hours staring into a mirror as she shifted through the various hues and tones that were available to her ultimately settling upon a color that was quite nearly the same as where she had begun.
Perhaps the most important change to Della’s form was one that was the least likely to actually be noticed, it made little to no effect on her appearance due to the nature of the change thought Della did note that after undergoing the change her muscle tone seemed to have increased somewhat. The change was one that came shortly after her fight with Akassa Hattori and her discovery of the Saiyans, the Saiyan people were quite nearly identical to humans save for the addition of a tail and a more naturally imposing physical build. Her present form was in fact not a Human form, but rather a hybrid of Humanity and Saiyan traits. Della discovered to her relief that the tail was not an innate necessity to the Saiyan form, even if she took on the form of a full blooded Saiyan she could do so without needing the tail, the bones that would lead to a tail existed but could be created in a stunted manner so as to make them nearly nonexistent.
Why Della had made the change from Human to Hybrid was a mystery even to Della herself, it provided no innate advantage over being purely human, even the muscle tone was something easily replicated in a purely human form, but much like all of the other changes to her form it was simply something that had felt ‘right’ when she had done it and thus it was now a fixture in her form, perhaps one day it would be dropped or perhaps she would adopt an entirely Saiyan form as her preferred form, ultimately she did not know but with the change Della found herself allowing a bit more of her aggressive tendencies to come to the forefront, it had been partially because of this that she had sought out Saito to see if she would receive the same rush that Saiyans enjoyed from a good fight.
“Any time Saito” Della said with a wide grin making sure to send a glance across the room at each student a way of letting them know that it was not JUST Sonya who should have been learning from the ‘fight’ that had just occurred, they all needed to understand the same things that Sonya had been made to learn it was simply that Sonya was the most readily in need of the lesson. “On top of that a lot of powerful fighters like an even fight, if you happen to be substantially weaker than an opponent the right phrasing can often get them to drop their power to a more manageable level something close to even with your own. It all really depends on who you are fighting but it is almost always worth the effort if you need to fight an opponent that is normally beyond your ability to fight.” Della said taking a moment to hopefully provide a bit of wisdom to Saito’s students, perhaps Saito had spoken of similar things before, perhaps not but the idea of getting your opponent to fight on your level was one that certainly could not hurt to know.
Getting a feel for Saito’s power Della adjusted herself accordingly reining her power in until it was at a ‘fair’ level compared to the Crane Master’s own; Della wondered idly how long it would be that she would need to restrain herself so much against Saito. In the time since she had last seen him he had grown somewhere around twice as much in power, in his current state he would still not be an ideal opponent to go one on one against Kemuri but most certainly he would do FAR more damage to the hyena.
“So Saito how would you like to start, perhaps a stipulation or two, no flight perhaps? I will likely personally restrict my usage of large scale energy techniques unless the gravity field is also capable of holding up against an impact from something we can put out in terms of power.” Della asked curious clasping her hands behind her head as she waited to see if Saito had any interest in making the fight a bit more interesting, during her questioning Della idly noted that something felt just a touch… ‘off’ as if she had forgotten something mildly important at some point. What Della had forgotten was of course that Sonya’s valiant effort to budge her from the circle by means of a powerful energy blast that Della chose to take head on had done extensive enough damage to her shirt that it had been rather thoroughly ruined enough so that she had simply tossed the rags that remained of it after dealing with Sonya, at that time it had been essentially irrelevant that she had done so as her body had been armored in her scales, now however she had reverted to her preferred form without much in the way of clothing on her upper body.

The gravity was something Saito was already accustomed to. He had trained in upwards of thirty-five times the Earths regular gravitational pull and despite this, he still felt the kick when the activation occurred. To the students looking it it would appear as though the two had suddenly begun to sag, yet this was only the effect of the skin getting acclimated. Della and Saito were both fully capable of standing in such an arena. Her words were touching, especially considering what Saito had seen of her very best. Della was a capable warrior and under the wrong conditions a terrifying enemy. It was either luck or fate that had brought her to spare Popo and assist in the destruction of Kemuri. Saito however believed it was a genuine kindness that the genie held. Despite being thrown out and forgotten, she held a special place in her heart for the Earth and all of its defenders. She was of course in her most basic form, a defender of the planet. Such conviction had not gone unnoticed.
During her addressing of the students Saito took notice of a particular...distraction. Being that the room was filled with teenage boys it was only natural that this particular distraction be particularly...distracting. Saito was only human as well and for a moment his eyes lingered on the new form that Della took on, and with a smirk he let out a light chuckle. Reaching into his pants he pulled out his tucked in gi and lifted it up and over his head. Saito was far less sexually appealing to the boys in the room, and with that he hoped to give Della a hint as to why everyone was staring at her. Out of respect he simply couldn't blurt it out. Frankly however, she seemed unphased by the gravities effect on her lady parts, and began suggesting rules.
"Flight is unnecessary. The ceiling is hardly tall enough...As for energy attacks"
Rarely did Saito go into the art of Ki at the school. Not that he would not be teaching the students how to use it, but rather they weren't ready. Sonya knew only one energy attack, and the others knew nothing. It was important to build their endurance before planning anything spectacular. That said, the students were not used to seeing their master use energy based attacks, and so when Saito's hand extended towards them, and from his palm emerged a ball of Ki they were undoubtedly disturbed. The energy blast left his palm and struck only inches away from where the students were located. It was an unnamed blast, and a weaker one at that. To them however it appeared even stronger than Sonya's Masenko. The reality was that the two fighters had entered the simulators ring. Nothing within the ring would touch anything outside of it, and so unless the two consentrated their efforts on purposefully breaking the dojo, no harm would come to it.
"I think we are safe to use whatever we like. I am not however very well versed with weaponry. Perhaps we could shy away from the swords and spears for today"
Saito had caught a glimpse at Della's weapon of choice, and had no interest in facing it today. If she brought it out he would of course be able to use his own blade, though not nearly as well. Kemuri's blade was still foreign to him, and until he could complete his training with the Fuhrer he would be useless with it. Anyother rules Della suggested would be accepted, including if she wished to avoid energy based attacks. She was a guest after all, and her standards were held in high regard. Meanwhile Sonya looked on in aggravated disdain as the now shirtless woman began her fight with Master Kito. Seriously, shirtless? Sonya rolled her eyes, she was obviously after attention...then again...She took a deep breath and leaned against the wall. She had been beaten badly enough today, there was no need to make a scene of it. Perhaps Saito could put a dent in the woman's bravado.
Or perhaps not.

Della blinked a few times as Saito removed his shirt the pieces of the puzzle slowly falling into place when combined with just how intently his students had been watching her, she let out a brief sigh and could really only hope that the incident had not distracted them from her words with a flick of the wrist a series of cloth wrappings formed around her chest creating a makeshift top that would be far less of a hindrance than most normal clothing as it was quite likely that she would be keeping up her normal form for the duration of the battle and with Saito's reveal that the area was safe to use energy techniques in there was the same likelihood that anything she created would be at risk of damage.
Giving Saito a look of thanks and mild amusement as he continued speaking Della made a mental note to avoid using her bladed weapons as per his request and likely she would avoid using most forms of weaponry outside of perhaps her staff or perhaps if the situation necessitated it the Inferno Shield, the shield itself made for quite the offensive tool as well while not being excessively dangerous unless Della REALLY wanted it to be due to it being primarily a defensive tool but hitting anyone with a piece of energy enhanced metal hard enough generally did the job of causing a bit of harm.
With the rules set down and both herself and Saito ready for battle it was time to start things off, the opportunity to simply let Saito start things was certainly a possibility but Della was a fairly aggressive fighter by nature and was rather eager to get the fight underway to finally get a real understanding of what Saito was capable of and so with no real warning Della would vanish from sight her form briefly flickering as she took a step forward only to reappear to Saito's right lashing out at the Crane Master with a kick to the abdomen, she would then attempt to follow it up with a quick series of strikes aimed at nowhere in particular on Saito just an attempt to land blows wherever she could.

Della was certainly something else, and her ability to move only added to the mystic. To most of the students her body would seemingly disappear. This quick movement was hardly a simple task, especially under the gravity they were in. Yet each muscle in her body seemed accustomed to it with ease. Being a genie must have come with its perks, but Della was not the only one capable of such a feat. She had been kind enough to level her own powerlevel out to match his own, that would make for a good fight, and although his students hadn't seen her move. Saito had.
His wrist flicked upward redirecting the kick as it entered his bubble. Saito had developed a sort of ring around himself where his body more naturally defended itself. He was certainly better at self preservation than physical attacking. His redirection of her kick was precise, but Della would not be knocked off balance. Her other leg seemed immovably planted into the floor, and with her leg still out to the side her arms moved into action. Her punches were lazy in direction, but deadly in execution. It was the perfect chance for Saito to practice his own defensive strategies. With each motion of her arm Saito used his own to block it. His students stood in awe watching their movements, many unable to follow. Though barely, Sonya watched their contest, her own heart racing. Della wasn't bluffing. Surely she had already learned that from their own battle, but to fight Master Kito was an entirely different story. The blond teacher was the stronger man she knew, and Della was....
Winning
It couldn't last forever, and despite his best defense a sole fist broke through the center of his blockade and hit him square in the left pectoral. The strike had enough power that upon impact a loud thud echoed through the room, and Saito slid back on his heels. Her force was impeccable. His muscles began to grow as his focus state activated. He had been attempting to use after the first kick, yet her onslaught of punches kept him on his toes. He couldn't stop the force that was pushing him back, but he could change how it moved him. Kicking off the ground and flipping backwards once, his right palm caught the cool wooden floor, continuing the stunt until he was back on his feet and no longer sliding. By the time he had firmly landed his hair had grown by several inches, standing on end as though static were running through it. Della had seen this form before, it had been Saito's appearance while facing Kemuri. His eyes had turned a deep teal and his power had nearly doubled.
"Marvelous"
The word almost didn't sound right as he exhaled. She had really done a number on his chest, it throbbed with adrenaline and pain. There was much to be learned from the genie, and he intended to use every advantage he could get. Their fight was happening in seconds, and by the time he had muttered the single word his body too disappeared, though Della would follow it just as Saito had her. His body lifted into the air with a jump. Twisting to his left, his left leg would extend outward, his heel aimed to strike the genie on her head. Should this be blocked his forward momentum would lead to him tumbling on the ground and rolling forward. Another quick spin on the ground would bring Saito to a standing position just a foot away.

It was not particularly surprising that when Della made her first attack sequence on Saito that the Crane Master managed to quite skillfully match her attacks with incredibly well timed defenses each strike she sent his way was swiftly met with one of Saito's limbs either to absorb the blow or to redirect it to cause no particular harm to the man. The incredibly well executed defense brought a small grin to Della's face. But good as his defenses were it was ultimately only a matter of time before Della found somewhere to direct an attack.
Saito's movements were very precise, he expended only as much energy on defending himself as absolutely necessary and he had a keen instinct for putting up the right amount of power to execute his defenses, but putting enough pressure on him forcing enough of the same pattern of attack opened up the opportunity Della needed, a small hole in his defenses that allowed her to break through and strike him in the chest the blow packing enough power to push Saito away, now Della was curious to see how Saito would respond to the knowledge that a pure defensive tactic was not going to work.
The response was a rather intriguing one as Saito's body began to undergo some sort of change, his muscles grew as did his hair and suddenly he was quite similar to how he had appeared fighting Kemuri, Della had simply assumed that the shortened hair had been a specific choice of Saito's but evidently it was an indicator of his power output as he was currently somewhere around twice as strong. While Della had taken the time to study Saito's change she had not simply remained idle as Saito's power grew so to did Della's creeping higher and higher to stay even with the Crane Master but less overtly her skin began to shift, what skin was hidden beneath clothing was the first to change once again becoming hardened scales.
Slowly as Saito's transformation completed the scales would begin creeping over Della's more exposed flesh becoming a secondary passive defense for her. Saito was the first to break the silence and his choice of word was a bit curious to her, what was marvelous? Was it the power he had achieved? The challenge he faced? There was little time to think on that as Saito momentarily vanished from sight though where her eyes could not immediately keep up with her opponent her ability to perceive energy did indicating he had taken to the air and was approaching quickly.
Her eyes finally catching up to her mind Della saw that the Crane had indeed taken flight and was now diving in on her and with a swift movement his body twisted his leg extending and aimed likely at her head, Della reacted quickly twisting her body slightly as she brought both arms up crossing them in an X pattern to take the blow on her now blue scaled arms and much as her initial blow had shoved back Saito so to did Saito's powerful kick push Della back.
The scales creeping over Della's head now her hair also shifting becoming a sort of jagged though not particularly sharp sort of spine-like protrusions that took the shape roughly similar to her previous hairstyle, Della gave Saito a viscous grin as her initial transformation completed itself "Sonya got to see this shape for a bit, so I think it appropriate.." Della dropped her arms to her sides as she spoke though her entire body remained tense and ready for action "that I put on something a bit -more- impressive for you Saito" Della said her grin widening a bit as she flexed her hands as her muscles grew slightly and the tips of her fingers became clawed, her face shifted slightly becoming slightly more reptilian and far more suited to the scales it currently bore from her back burst free a pair of powerful wings and from her lower back a mighty whip-like tail.
Flexing her 'new' appendages Della tightened her hands into fists a sign to show that in spite of the new forms innate form of weaponry she had no intention of using the claws, everything else that her draconic form afforded her however was very much within the realm of what Della would be making use of and what better time than immediately as Della launched forward closing the gap between them within a few moments once in melee with Saito she would unleash a flurry of blows with all her speed a blur of fists and knees with the addition of the occasional swipe of the tail as it struck at Saito like a whip.

His right arm lingered forward, an open palm facing his lumbering chest. He had prepared for a follow up attack and yet found that none had been issued. Instead Della took the time to complete what was undoubtedly her strangest technique yet. Saito could hardly believe the change, and his students whom had only gotten a glimpse before now witnessed the entirety of Della's strategy. The form reminded him of his simulated combat against Tundra. The Icer possessed a tail and similar features. If he had learned anything from his training against the sim it was to stay away from the tail. With the gravity still ever present it meant that the quickest appendage would be the successful one, and the thin diameter of her tail made him believe she would be the fastest. His own muscles finally calming from the pulsing Ki burrowing through his veins, he continued his assault.
Running forward, his right arm still up and flat, his left began to glow. He had named this attack the righteous fist long ago as it was often the attack he used as a last ditch effort. It had broken the controller than held Kaladar captive, and now it would strike out at the tougher scales that Della had produced. His first attack would be a jab with his left, while his right hand remained up and in a defensive position. He didn't want Della to get the upperhand despite having now three working limbs she could use all at once. The jab could be blocked, but even so it was not coated in a teal Ki that would prove most harmful to the skin. A single jab would hardly have made for a good frontal attack, and so his harm would retract and fire again, aiming this time for a different location around Della's chest. He would repeat the attack several times, his arm moving quickly in rapid fire jabs at the dragon. His right arm would be actively prepared to counter anything she threw at him, yet the tail kept his primary focus. It would be the most dangerous.

Della grinned as her focused shifted from Saito as a whole and onto his arm which rather unexpectedly began expelling energy in a manner rather familiar to Della, certainly it was not exactly like her methods but is seemed that Saito had independently developed a technique similar to her enhancement techniques however where she enhanced weapons Saito appeared to be enhancing his own body a rather risky course of action in Della's mind but one that guaranteed that you could never be denied your ability to use your weapon. Where Della's enhancement techniques required her to create things to use them with Saito could simply push the power into his fist and go, there was even the very real possibility that he could transfer the energy to other limbs a factor Della would keep in mind from now on.
He quickly closed the gap between them and began his own attack Della did her best to avoid the initial attacks not wanting to make contact with the now enhanced fist quite yet first she needed a bit more information and the brief flurry of blows gave her a bit of useful information, Saito was focusing his attack patterns on his already enhanced hand making it his primary means of offense while keeping his other hand back and prepared to defend and likewise keeping his legs grounded keeping him stable for any incoming attacking. The focus on the use of a single limb to attack meant that perhaps Saito could not at least easily transfer the energy into different limbs, perhaps he needed a moment to refocus his energy and transfer it to the preferred limb making it not ideal for mid-attack use.
Della raise an arm as one of Saito's jabs came faster than she anticipated too fast to be completely avoided necessitating a block, the fist made impact with her forearm and the power behind it was quite significant, more than enough to make Della quite glad she had brought forth her scales to lessen the impact a bit the almost fire-like qualities of the energy surrounding the fist require immediate response as she twisted away from Saito's fist before the energy could do any more harm and as she twirled away from the blow Della would continue twisting her body making a complete three hundred sixty degree spin on her heel before lashing out at Saito with her leg a blow directed at his midsection, this attack while certainly intended to make impact and cause harm was more a distraction intended to put Saito's focus elsewhere as Della's tail also lashed out seeking to grab hold of one the Crane Master's legs and yank it out from under him to break Saito's footing and put him on the ground.

Their exchange was quick. Although Della could fight much quicker, Saito could not. Keeping up now was a reasonable challenge and it was kind of her to stay at a level he could remain at. As she spun in a full circle the students would gasp, unsure if she had facilitated the twist on her own, or due to some heavy handed strike on the side of their master. It was not the latter, Della was too fast for that. She had begun the spin on her own accord and with quick wit and masterful agility would simultaniously raise her leg at a mid height. Both of Saito's arms, both the glowing right fist and the simple left would open up to catch the leg, his own feet sliding on the tile floor making a rather loud squeeling noise. His bare feet and the floor fought in a friction that would be removed just as soon as it had started. Saito could see the tail moving, it was even faster than her leg had been. He had not the ability to dodge it. With his arms occupied in a struggle of strength, and his feet fighting the floor boards, the tail would make its mark, wrapping around Saito's foot and lifting upwards. It released him into the air in what felt like slow motion, his arms releasing Della's leg as his body was flung skyward.
His ki continued to regulate, his physical muscles pulsing as the flip occurred. Using what he could of the kinetic energy his body now had he intentionally continued the descent backwards. Rather than falling on his back, he pulled his legs up. Showcasing his own agility the masters hands caught the ground and flipped backwards. Pushing off of the ground he would land on his feet once more, only to repeat the backflip process three more times, getting himself a little further away from the genie with each flip. He stopped only when his body had reached the wall of the dojo. Several beads of sweat rolling down his forehead. He almost wished he had stretched a little more before their combat. The gravity was not something he was unfamiliar with. Even thirty times the Earth's regular weight was less than he was used to training in by himself. Still, the pressure was significant. With distance now his ally his hands fell to the side, each one pointing down at the floor as six small beads of Ki began to float alongside his wrist. It was time to utilize his Ki for more than physical combat.
"Hmm....Spirit Revolvers"
He had to summon them forth. Some fighters would use techniques without calling out their name. They felt the two seconds it took to call it forth was enough for the tide of battle to shift. This was foolishness. Respecting an attack with its name gave it even greater power. Or perhaps that superstition was equally as foolish. Either way, Saito had been trained to say the names of his attacks, and Della was sharp. She undoubtedly knew what was coming. Raising his hands, two index fingers pointed towards his opponent. He had twelve shots total. When he had first learned the attack many months ago, using it had taken up all of his Ki. Now he stood able to use it again and again. Saito had grown. Even Della had to notice it. Had he possessed as many techniques, and as much Ki as he had now, perhaps the battle would have turned out differently.
The index fingers began to light up as Saito fired four of his bullets. Two from each finger. The first two were aimed at Della, the second two in the direction her body would shift. This was his way of keeping her within the range of his attack. If she dodged the first two, hopefully the second two would make full contact. Though Della was no amateur. Nothing was set into stone. His own strategies and battle tactics could easily be countered by her own experience. That was the thrill of their fight now. Saito was receiving the benefit of training with someone older than Kaladar. Much older. Considering he age it was remarkable the youthful energy she had. Della was truly something else. Hopefully this wouldn't stop him from striking her with one or two of the bullets. Each wrist still had four bullets ready for fire. If Della got too close she would be putting herself at risk to take the bullets at a point blank range. Would she risk it or perhaps counter with a distanced attack of her own?

It was impressive to watch Saito’s physical reaction to her attack, he first took the kick with an impressive amount of resilience managing to re-position himself in such a way as to minimize the amount that the kick would drive him away, perhaps it had been in an effort to prevent himself from being sent flying or perhaps because he initially planned to her kick in some manner, he HAD managed to grab hold of the limb and had she not already been moving in with her tail perhaps the Crane Master would have had an opportunity to do some damage there, thankfully that had not been the case and the kick itself had merely been intended as a setup for her next attack, her tail wrapping itself around Saito’s leg to fling him skyward. Her plan afterward had been to push the attack, drive at the now hopefully defenseless Saito, but Saito’s response was faster than she anticipated and with the sudden shifting of his body Della held back her next attack unsure exactly where Saito would even end up.
He twisted himself in the air and not a moment after hitting the ground was he already springing into action with a series of backflips to put some distance between himself and Della, it brought an amused grin to her face as she recognized the tactic, it was not uncommon for many to choose to play the ranged game with her once she unleashed her draconic form, the amount of attacks she could put out with the addition of the tail tended to put most ill at ease in keeping in melee with her. Akassa had been an interesting departure from the norm as with her energy armor she could use her tail as a weapon much like Della did. Inevitable however even the Saiyan Queen had to pull away, if only because she chose to maintain an even playing field of power, much like how Della maintained an even power with Saito.
With Saito putting distance between them Della shifted her posture, preparing herself for a bit of ranged combat her body no longer as grounded and defensive as it normally was when in melee her wings spread a bit preparing for the possibility that Della might need a sudden gust of speed to pull herself backward while she kept her body loose and prepared to avoid incoming attacks. Saito seemed to have a similar shift in style as he dropped his arms to his sides and with a brief spike in power Della spotted the appearance of what appeared to be some sort paired bands of energy around his wrists. Della’s brow rose slightly as Saito called the name of his technique firing off two shots of energy aimed directly at her, the energy bullets traveled far faster than traditional weaponry, and probably quite a bit faster than even some of the more advanced weapons available, the sort of weapons that could actually properly harm people like herself and Saito.
But speed was something Della considered herself a bit of an expert on, she knew, roughly speaking, how long it would take the bullets to reach her, dodging would be difficult under normal circumstances, a pulse in power putting herself closer to her full strength would make the effort trivial but also defeat the purpose of restraining her power to this level. But even keeping her power low she still had an ace in the hole for avoiding multiple energy techniques, and if she chose to test out her new idea for how to utilize her ace then perhaps she could push things a bit harder. As the bulelts drew near Della’s body would begin to vibrate rapidly and then quite suddenly burst into flame, where Saito was likely quite familiar with Della’s unique method of powering up and its rather sudden bursts of flame-like power this was something else entirely as rather than fanning around her these flames seemed to be consuming Della’s form.
“PHOENIX!” Della roared her voice higher and sharper now than before as she took a ‘step’ forward just as Saito unleashed his next two shots seemingly in an effort to fire where she would be moving, just after the shots were fired however Della would rush forward at a nearly imperceptible speed, the speed of this technique matching that of her Phoenix Wing and by extension her Shunpo, a technique that was in many ways Della’s form of the more common ‘Zanzoken’ technique. However Della’s advances with that technique afforded her certain advantages, namely by those provided by the Phoenix Wing, her body was currently entirely composed of her energy converted into the form of conscious fire, her body was no longer a singular defined shape in this state and as such it allowed her a far greater ability to avoid the incoming bullets, her bird-like fiery form would rush past the bullets shifting and reshaping to avoid them, the first two were east enough to avoid, she had been tracking there movement since before she had initiated the technique.
The problem was the second set of bullets and ironically enough Della’s own speed, she was moving so fast and her new technique required such direct movement that she only managed to avoid the first one, the second bullet tearing through one of her ‘wings’ the wing that represented her right arm. Currently Della felt no pain, felt nothing really as her current form lacked the ability to actually ‘feel’ all she received from the attack was a sense of damage and the awareness that once she reformed there would be a wound to deal with. And unfortunately the time to reform was now, the speed afforded to her by this form placed her right in front of Saito, this form was no suited to actually causing harm, it could theoretically burn but in the process it would cause potential damage to her true form, to attack she needed to change back and her newest advancement with this technique was to put all the remaining energy from the transformation and the force of the speed she had been traveling into a single, powerful, strike.
Della’s form returned to that of her ‘base’ state, no scales, no tail, no wings, just plain ‘human’ Della save for a single difference, the swirling vortex of burning power that swirled in her left hand, the very hand that was taking a swing aimed directly at Saito’s chest the energy around her fist making a sound similar to a screeching bird of prey “BREAKER!” Della roared as she finally reformed completely, while not many of her techniques had ‘names’ that ‘required’ being called this particular technique was her exception. An advancement of her Phoenix Wing, a technique developed out of necessity against Akassa Hattori, the Phoenix Breaker. Not only would the strike provide all the normal power that Della put into a punch but if it struck Saito the flames that coated her fist would erupt in a powerful explosion.

Phoenix Breaker (Master Tier)
(Shunpo -> Phoenix Wing -> Phoenix Breaker)
The Phoenix Breaker Della’s most directly offensive application of the Phoenix Wing, Della plows directly forward with all the speed provided by the Shunpo/Phoenix Wing, once her target is reached Della reforms and redistributes all the remaining energy from her Phoenix Wing into one of her fists and lashes out at her target with the energy coated fist, if the attack hits the energy explodes outward forming the vague shape of Della’s Phoenix Wing form (a Phoenix)
This technique shares the same ‘cooldown’ as Shunpo and Phoenix Wing.

Della’s energy had changed. Despite her best effort to control it, there was a distinct deadliness to the power she began to emit. Even as Saito fired his bullets he knew they would do very little. One appeared to have struck her, but where Saito could not say. He body was moving with such unbelievable speed that the only thing Saito could compare it too was his own ki dash. He hadn’t the moveset to combat what was coming next, yet he knew it was coming. By her movements it was clear that Della was preparing for a full frontal attack the likes of which Saito could not hope to defend himself against. Knowing only the standard techniques, his mind could hardly wrap around the complexity of the ki that filled Della’s body. She no longer reminded him of a genie, but of a demon.
He wouldn’t need to think on it for long as she appeared directly infront of him. Saito fired off the remaining 8 spirit bullets, four from each finger. Even the Crane master couldn’t help feeling an immediate moment of fear. He knew Della wouldn’t try to harm him, but he also knew what she was capable of. Della had even mentioned being unable to control herself at times. If this happened to be one of those times, Saito would see his organs escape out of his back in a bloody mess. He couldn’t afford that. His last two bullets would undoubtedly miss as he twisted his body and took the punch directly in the left shoulder. It had been a wise choice as the explosion that followed the punch was overwhelming. The shockwave of it pushed the air from Saito’s lungs and jettisoned him across the dojo, slamming him into the reinforced wall. The skin on his shoulder was gone where Della had made impact, though it truly looked worse than it actually was. Her explosion had simultaneously sealed the glorious wound leaving only a little blood to trickle down his chest, though Saito needed a moment to recover. His body slid down the wall, his feet touching the ground only to bend at the knee. He would sit, slumped forward against the hardwood as the impact of the last attack rattled around in his mind. Was it safe to continue their fight?
Sonya was the first to jump to his aid, running back onto the dojo floor as though nothing had happened to her whatsoever. She had been resting from her combat with Della, and despite having lost pretty badly, her fear seemed to be driving her. She made her way over to Saito. She had shrieked when Della struck him, no one had been expecting it. Such a technique was one that they had never seen before. Saito had told them of destructive powers, but even a well charged spirit gun hadn’t the destructive abilities that this technique had. It was marvelous, and frightening.
“Stop it you’ll kill him!”
She screamed dropping to her knee’s in front of him to inspect the wound. Her hand reached out as if to push his shoulder back to examine in more intently, but her hand was caught by another. Saito’s calloused left hand caught her wrist, his head rising to meet her at eye level. There was a light blackness around his eyes where the lack of oxygen and blood had become evident, but when he spoke, they all heard it.
“Never interfere in a spar Sonya. This is not yet finished.”
He said, his legs pushing against the ground, his back sliding against the wood once more to bring him into a standing position. Sonya was going to argue, she stood and looked him over. The wound was indeed cauterized, even the blood that had drained down his chest had dried into a scab. After another second on the wall Saito stepped forward, and his student to the side. She watched with a bit of horror, and amazement, as her master stepped forward towards Della. He had not been able to see how his revolver bullets had done, though two black marks on his ceiling told him that only 6 had the chance of making contact, though even that wasn’t certain. Saito’s right arm began to glow a deep teal as he looked back at Della.
“That attack is no joke. You have done well to develop it, and the name is inspiring. Much like the phoenix of lore it stings in a stunning blaze of brilliance. I haven’t the abilities to match it but…I see that you have felt its effects.”
Della was nowhere near finished. She had the reserves to fight on much longer than Saito. The aggressive Ki that had filled her body at the start of the attack however was gone, and to Saito this meant it could not be so easily repeated. He would not need to fear every punch that came his way. Sonya had since gotten out of the way, and the two were now only a few feet from one another.
