It would take a while, but the evacuation shuttle from Earth finally came into Namek's orbit.
By that time, Ethar had healed enough to get on his feet and move around. Bandages were still on his arms and legs, visible through his semi-torn clothing. "Please drop me off near the Grand Elders Home." He asked, as the pilot nodded in acknowledgment, as the ship descended to the planet.
Ethar knew that he was coming unannounced, but the situation would hopefully be dark enough for the Elder to make an exception to his uninvited appearance. He didnt know who was the current Grand Elder of New Namek, since Nor's schools were no where near as up-to-date with the rest of the universe as much as the scholars wanted it to be. But what he did learn, that Namekians had strong warriors that could help him prepare for anymore deadly encounters with the Saiyan Empire.
Stepping onto the grass from the loading ramp, Ethar took a deep breath of the Namekian air and sighed, as well as wincing a bit from the pain he was in. He looked back to the Earthling forces that were watching them, and waved them off so he would be on his own.
When the ship had left and was out of sight, He turned to a house that was a short ways from where he was dropped off. Walking towards it, He asked aloud "Hello? Grand Elder? Is anyone home?"
He hoped that he had not come to the planet at a bad time, and hoped to find the Grand Elder in a good mood...

Grand Elder Pitka was always in a good mood; in fact it was a rare occasion when he was not. Such rarities often coincided with dark events. Today was such an occasion, his sullen mood a drastic change from his usual chipper attitude. He felt a great disturbance in the universe yet Pitka could not sense its origins. But he knew news would come. Bad news travels fastest.
And so when he heard the space shuttle descend to drop its load, which thanks to his pointy ears was far before most would hear it, he stood from his modest throne and walked to the window. But not to the front, where he a felt a strange power level approaching, rather to the back where he could look out upon his sea of flowers which covered the backside of the small hill upon which his hut sat. Even the beautiful pink flora could lift his spirit.
Then he heard a knock on his door, accompanied by a question. It seemed silly to arrive in a loud spaceship just feet from a house and then announce your arrival when the thundering engines had already done so. Turning to face the entrance, his back to his beloved garden, he flicked his index finger and the door swung open. When the mixed race creature’s eyes fell upon him, the Grand Elder would muster a meager smile.
“Welcome to New Namek stranger,” Pitka began, “what brings you to our peaceful part of the galaxy?”

When Pitka opened the door for Ethar, He knelt on on knee as a sign of respect. He then got back up to his feet, and entered the Grand Elder's home before he replied "Grand Elder. My name is Ethar Luxun, and I have come from Earth seeking Counsel on a very serious matter." as he stood before the Grand Elder.
Ethar could sense the Elders power, and while it wasnt as powerful as his own, he knew that someone like the elder would have a bodyguard nearby that was more powerful then him. But New Namek was a peaceful place, and judging by its beauty, Ethar was starting to think that he should of come to this planet rather then Earth for his home.
But continuing on, Ethar said "Earth has been invaded by the Saiyan Queen 'Akassa Hattori'. She has killed many of my friends and allies with the help of her General, and another Saiyan that came to Earth with her." He hoped that the Elder had Ki Sensing abilities, and hopefully felt the massive spikes of energy from Earth.

The young traveler kneeled before the Grand Elder of New Namek. It was far more formal than necessary though its respect brought a warm smile to his terse lips. Earth. He had felt something was wrong but had hoped for a newer battleground. The poor humans had faced nearly as much devastation as the namekians and were surely due some peace.
“I see, well I am happy to give what counsel I can,” the older, yet firm, namekian replied to the boy of mixed race. He could sense good in his heart, a trait of his people. Being able to sense the purity of one’s spirit is a powerful tool. It was not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but his ki was better than that of most in the galaxy.
Akassa Hattori. Pitka sighed as he stepped over to his modest throne, at the crest of which rest an immaculate orange orb. Just below its polished surface rested a single crimson star. Taking a seat his leaned back, the weight of what was happening dragging him down. He feared what would come of her usurping the saiyan throne. So many warriors had fallen apparently; hopefully the kais would grant them second chances, he thought to himself.
“My, my… I have heard of her power and feared of her hunger for more. This is troubling news indeed yet I know not what I could do for you warrior,” he turned his gaze back to the window he had just left. Piccolo City was visible far off in the distance, its towers tall and bulky. “I am no match for this Queen. I fear even my son, the mightiest warrior on New Namek, would not stand a chance against her,” it had been a long time since such words were true. For many years his son’s strength had been enough to guarantee his planet’s safety.
“I can recommend reaching out to Masters Batto and Nohkan, leaders of the healing and warriors clans, respectively. They could help make you strong and teach you things to help you in your fight for Earth…” He trailed off, his fingers tapping on the arms of the plain throne. His people were peaceful, yet they did not enjoy the suffering of others and so he felt a pang of helplessness. What could he do for the struggling humans? Who had saved the sons of Guru and helped find a new planet identical to their original. What?

"I will see about contacting Master Batto and Master Nohkan. But I fear, that even I lack the potential to stand up to such a foe." He said, feeling a bit saddened by the fact that his own power wouldnt be enough to save anyone at this point in time. Back on Earth, He tried his best, and it was not enough at all.
"Its times like this, that I wish I had the power to protect my friends from people like Akassa Hattori. Its quite frustrating watching people like her get away with murder...literally. Even my friends... Conri....Ezekiel.... When I escaped Earth, I felt their energies get extinguished, like a small flame before a mighty tidal wave..." He said, as a tear came to his eye. Even though he was only on Earth for less then a year, he met many people who became his friends, and allies. But now, they were all gone...
"Now, Im all that is left of Earths Defenders..."

“Oh dear… That is a truly troubling thought…”
The wary old eyes laid pity upon the Earthling before him for his was a particularly sad tale. This messenger had delivered the news of a galaxy past the brink, and with it a story of loss. Of many friends. Pitka had lost many in his time, to time, to disease, and during his pilgrimage days at the hands of others. He remembered Earth too, from those days. What a gem it had been, it’s wildlife and landscapes so majestic, almost regal. To think a tyrant now held dominion over the lands brought him great sadness.
Yet not as sad as the man before him, clearly… The Grand Elder pondered to himself as how he could help this warrior before him. Who had fought for Earth, whose friends had died for Earth. Perhaps he could face a trial similar to the one Zeke had passed not long ago. His son could truly measure the halfing’s mettle as few others could. Then he may learn a secret even most namekians thought of as a fairy tale in the modern day. Hidden nearly as well as the ball which stood over his head; though both in plain sight.
“I wonder, if you could investigate something for me, young warrior,” the Grand Elder broke the silence, “and in turn perhaps I can help you, in some small way,” he finished with a kind smile. “There have been stories of a rouge namekian, formerly of the warrior clan, who has taken refuge far on the far islands,” he said, referring to an island cluster in the center of New Namek’s largest ocean. A very remote spot, yet home to several small fishing villages. “Would you look into this, on my behalf? The local fishermen have asked for my help but I have been terribly busy,” he lied, though he would soon be quite busy with the influx of Earth refugees that were bound to come in wake of the invasion.

Ethar perked right up when Pitka asked him for a favour, and in return, he would do something for him as well. This made Ethar very curious as to what he was refering to, but he said "A Rouge Namekian? That sounds troubling indeed. I can understand that your too busy to deal with the situation, so I will go in your stead, and try to settle things nonviolently. I will only use Violence as a last resort. You can count on me." He said with a smile, as he knew which islands Pitka was referring to very well. He had seen them, and the small villages from the shuttle before it dropped him off.
"I shall return with haste when everything is settled. Thank you." Ethar said, still smiling as he turned and moved towards the door. He made sure he was outside, before taking rapid flight toward the Fishing Village on the small islands. Keeping his senses sharp, He kept his wits about him incase the rouge Namekian would show up to cause trouble.
Nearing the Island, Ethar touched down and started to look around. "Now, Where is he..."

Ethar was quick to accept his request and nearly as quick to depart. “Thank you young one,” the Grand Elder would say as he disappeared through the door and into the sky. Leaning back into his modest throne Pitka would speak, once Luxun was far out of earshot. “If you wouldn’t mind?” he said into the nothingness. In the pure darkness of the corner of the room came a derisive snort. A shadowy figured loomed there that had not been there moments later. Then there was a gust caused by a sudden shift in the house as the presence, which had remained completely unnoticed due to its signature being unreadable.
When the somewhat saiyan arrived on the faraway islands, his target was already there. He had been waiting there for a few minutes waiting for the supposed hero when he finally arrived. A palm rested on a large rock formation which jutted up into the sky. One of many in this area. Hidden from sight, and still unable to be sensed, he felt Ethar’s signature through closed eyes and gauged him. Luxun began looking for his target, feeling and seeing no one upon arrival. In a flash of speed, so fast it was beyond the halfling’s ability to see or sense.
A mile away, in a nearby village, an explosion would erupt. The sound and power quite noticeable to the wandering boy, who could see it well from where he stood. Should he investigate, he would find a tall namekian, almost eight feet, clad in dark gi which came up to his aquiline nose, covering the bottom half of his face. The massive rogue stood over an elderly namekian, who was shaking with fear as purple blood trickled down his forehead. As far as Ethar could tell, if he even could, the rogue’s power was only roughly a hundred thousand.

Ethar was thinking of moving onto another island to continue his search for Elder Pitka, when the explosion nabbed his attention. "What in Aster name?" He asked himself, as he put on a burst of his high speed towards the explosion. He was afraid of what he might find, and when he arrived, he saw the explosion happened in the middle of a small village.
And whats more, when he arrived he saw a rather tall, darkly clad Namekian standing over a bleeding Elder. The situation looked bad, but without knowing all teh facts, Ethar could not react as a normal person would, such as attacking the ominous looking tall Namekian. "HEY! Whats going on here?!" Ethar yelled at the tall Namekian.
Ethar tried to sense how powerful the strange Namekian was. It felt a bit fuzzy, but Ethar felt it to be around 100,000ish but he knew that some creatures could surpress their powers. Though from the situation that was presented to him, the Namekian might not of been surpressing his power. But Ethar couldnt risk acting yet still.
He needed answers. If the Namekian was to move against the Elder, since the Elder looked frightened and injured, Ethar would use his Zansoken to intercept and block whatever attack the Namekian would use.
Looking to the Elder, Ethar asked "Are you alright?!"

The towering namekian half turned his head toward the mix breed. Slowly. Until the first eye fell upon him, its gaze piercing. It saw him, all of him. Not just what he presented. Not that it presented much, asking a redundant question given the context of the situation. A darkly clad warrior blowing up a small hut near a fishing village, and standing over its bleeding elderly resident; in the same area the Grand Elder Pitka had claimed a rogue was wreaking havoc. Should he even waist his time? Especially on another outsider? No, he had to give his father the benefit of the dobt; he was wise even beyond his many years. Yet, he harbored no faith in this newcomer, not even the sliver he had held out for Ezekial.
Silence fell, its presence thick in the air. One eye never left the boy, though the other did not think him worthy the duo’s full attention. A single piercing pupil boring through Ethar’s very being. Then a palm lifted, halving the space between the rogue and the elder. Yellow energy crackled down from his pointed nails to the center of his palm; his power tripling to 300,000 as it did. An amorphous orb of energy twinkled into existence at the focal point. But he said nothing, speaking only with his actions. Perhaps the context would be enough this time.
A foot or so away was the face of the elder, half sitting up, his face the sight of pure terror. The look one has when the can see the end; when they peer in the keyhole and see Death itself rapping its boney knuckles upon the door. Blood mixed with anxious sweat as it burned his eyes all the same, mixing with the tears of a life ended early. As the shapeless ki came into being the injured old man cast a glance to the boy, “Run! Save yourself!” he cried as a cocktail of blood, sweat, and tears dripped from his wrinkled chin.

Ethar merely stood his ground, and in awe when the rouge Namekian powered up to an overwhelming level of power. Triple of what it had been before. And seeing what he did to the Elder made Ethar realize, that this was the rouge Namekian he was told to investigate.
Clenching his fist, Ethar returned the glare that the rouge was giving him. He heard the dying Elder tell Ethar to run and save himself from death. But the hybrid merely shook his head as he said "Im sorry, I wont." as he then looked to the rouge Namekian. Anger filled the Hybrids eyes, but it was a controlled anger as Ethar said "You dare kill innocent people for your amusement? Well no more! It ends here!" as the winds started to pick up around Ethar.
His hair turned to a shiny silver colour, while his eyes turned to a ominous blood red colour. Dark markings appeared on his skin, as his human looking teeth took on a more feral appearence, some turning into what looked like fangs. Ethars power level rose up to roughly 170,000, more then half of the rouge's power level, but it would feel like it was being restrained by something Ethar was wearing, underneath his regular clothing.
"I will be your next opponent!"

The rouge was motionless as he observed the rattle on, meanwhile energy continued gathering at his palm. Beads of sweat rolling down the elder’s green brow. When he prettied himself up and tripled his own power, still he was unmoving. Words would not impress the disguised namekian, as he towered over his victim. His clock ticking away quickly. When the mutt was finished speaking, the warrior offered but reply.
The yellow beam erupted from the amassed energy, its sole purpose to engulf the wary elder and couple yards all around him in a massive explosion of ki which would completely evaporate his house and carry on to the small village a little ways beyond. “NOOO!!!” a scream filed the air as the old man saw death before him and new he could not escape it. Even the strongest and wisest flinch before the ultimate end.
What would this ‘Ethar’ do? The stone cold gaze of the single eye still rested on the powered up boy, now with silvered hair. The rouge wondered what he was capable of, though he doubted it would surpass his low expectations. Most importantly, he would see if the youth was capable of facing hard truths; the mark bore by true warriors of the light.

Watching as the rouge vaporized the helpless elder, Ethar was just plainly shocked as to what had just transpired before him.
Taking a deep breath, he had to compose himself and not let his anger get the best of him. To do so, could mean his death would be next. "Explain yourself! Why are you doing this!?" he demanded, but he had a sinking feeling that the rouge Namekian wasnt going to be in a mood for talk.
Sheer power wasn't the way to go for this battle, since the Namekian had double the power he had. But if it came down to it, he would defend himself to the last breath in his body. "Come on. Yo have a tongue right? use it!" He said, trying to get an answer from teh Rouge...

It would be a lie to say that he was surprised by the halfling’s reluctance to enter the fray, despite the innocent’s life which held in the balance. His cold, haunting eyes did not leave the boy as the beam seemingly devoured the elder, and the boy did not leave his place. Should a hero attempt to save someone despite the odds? Or rather in spite of them? He supposed it was subjective, but he cared nothing for gray area; and this Ethar did not rest in the right side of black and white for him. Though he supposed even cowards could still be good people.
The destructive wave did not end with the injured namekian’s apparent demise however, continuing on to envelop his entire house and then on to the village into the distance. Smoke bellowed up into the sky and cries could be heard from afar, as they drifted along with the winds which swept these flatlands. Yet all the boy did was kick and yell. Did he attempt to save Earth the same way? “ENOUGH,” came a voice with tangible power from behind the black face wrap. Another wind whirled the air between them as the sound hung in the air.
“I have no time for the timid, boy,” he finally said as he turned his back to the half-saiyan. With casual strides, made lengthy by his impressive height of eight feet, he stalked toward the village. Holding out a hand to his side, his fingers began to gnarl as he summoned energy into his palm.

What the rouge didnt realize, was that Ethar was gathering intel before making his decision. He needed to know the 'Who, What, When, where, Why and how' before leaping into action, but unfortunatly, seeing the rouge destroy more innocent people made him realized that a time like this, was not the time to gather intel THEN fight. He would have to figure out the rest WHILE he was fighting.
"Enough is right! This ends here!" He said, as he put on a burst of speed as his body lifted off the ground. Energy formed in his right hand, as he charged up a destruct disc. He knew that Namekians could regenerate, but they did have a weakness that he just couldn't remember at that moment. All those years of studying in school, And now would of been a good time to recall everything he had learned about Namekians.
But when the destructo disc was formed, Ethar threw it with deadly accuracy, aiming right for the Rouge's torso, but on such an angle that it would embed into the ground shortly after. He couldnt risk any of his attacks going off to hit someone innocent.
