Man clasped onto Wrath's head, an oompaloompa in comparison to the beast's large and muscular frame. The gem on Zero's forehead glimmering a bright teal color, the creature's ki was slowly seeped out and into Zero's domain. However, the android would soon discover that his mundane attempt in getting the upper hand against Wrath was for naught. Having used the technique only a few times, Zero had not fully learned all of its effects and circumstances like this where it would have failed. The known fact was that Wrath was suppressing his power to enable a decent show for their spectators and give the android a fighting chance, but he had not linked -with his highly analytic mind- that absorbing energy from Wrath was like trying to drink water from a boundless ocean; there was no end, Wrath felt nothing, unaffected. His pit-black eyes, almost as dark and deep as the ki Man would attempt to harness, wrinkle slightly. Man glances down to see the beasts wide and toothy smirk as he then proceeded into charging another one of those dastard beams through his mouth.
Bracing himself, the android pivots his head, redirecting the angle of his gem towards Wrath's mouth. During the execution of energy absorption, Zero could not move, but it was a simple effort to just shift the angle of his head. Wrath would no longer feel the tingling sensation of ki leaking out of his body; however, the energy wave coming out of Wrath's mouth would bend and flow into the core of Zero's gem; their faces illuminated by the roaring beam. Ivan gawked yet again, as he himself, although he installed it, had not had the chance to see Zero's new technique in action. The Energy Absorption technique sucked it up like a black hole. However, when it was all retrieved and stored, static sparked around him. An android has an infinite supply of continuous energy, so absorbing more energy from his opponents -as much as he had now- created a surplus of energy. It was akin to a bloated man who had eaten a tad too much.
Zero released Wrath and dashed out of his vicinity. Three yards away from his opponent, the android stood stiff with static traveling around his body; his face twitches, he grits his teeth. Zero needed to get rid of the excess energy, and for that, he leveled his arm at the hulking mass that was Wrath and collapsed his hand under the wrist, revealing a hidden cannon. Promptly after, the hole inside begins to shine brightly as he charges his attack -a second later, he releases the incandescent beam of energy. If it were to make contact with Wrath it would detonate upon impact as it was not a continuous wave of energy. It was short, fast, and destructive. Ivan and The Doctor were now quiet, instead, they took on the aura of Prometheus and took notes themselves; perhaps, ideas to improve the performance they witnessed.

Prometheus Zex had agreed to fund Ivan and the Doctor so that Model Zero could be improved, upgraded as he grew stronger. One such upgrade was to his forehead, the green gem set there not only a signal that the machine was powering up, but possessing an ability of its own. Zex himself was not one hundred percent sure on what it was the crystal was doing to his brother, but Wrath’s fluctuating power level was enough to hint at some sort of draining effect, perhaps blocking his brother’s Ki from channeling properly. Whatever it was doing it did not seem to bother the larger alien that much, more of his energy pouring forward to release what was lost. The next ability that the gem possessed was far more interesting than the first, almost reminding Zex of the field her built into the arena, designed to absorb Ki attacks to protect the crowd viewing the events within.
The blast erupted from Wrath’s open mouth, destined to rip the android from his head and launch the machine across the platform. Instead the energy fed into Model Zero’s gem, overcharging him with raw energy. The way the android removed himself from Wrath’s immediate reach spoke volumes about how his body was handling the extra Ki it had just taken in. As his arm raised Wrath half expected the machine to ask for a moment to allow himself to discharge the energy from the blast he had just taken in. With the androids hand collapsing under the wrist a blast began to gather, this little machine full of surprised. Disembarking from Wrath’s face and charging the sudden attack had only taken seconds, but it was plenty of time for the large alien to react.
Model Zero’s beam of energy lances towards his target, but would not detonate upon impact as it instead shoots right through an image of Wrath. The afterimage fades as the energy rips through it. Having used the speed enhancing technique the alien was almost on top of Zero an instant after the beam strikes his after image. With his left arm still wounded, the puncture wound from the sword slowly healing, Wrath comes at the android with just his right hand, slashing towards his foe with his deadly claws. Before Zero had utilized his saber to handle the alien’s large talons, what might he do now or was the assault to quick, the machine still trying to expel his excess energy?

Man's buster buzzed to action; an uprising high-pitched sound as energy charges through the bolts of his cannon and moments later roars across the arena, ripping through the still wind. It appeared as though he had caught Wrath in the attack, perhaps the beast's pride got the best of him. However, it was not quite so as the glistening beam of scorching energy whizzed right past the fading image of Zex's brother. Ivan and The Doctor panicked, as the beam was now heading towards them with nothing to stop it. "Agh!" The two gawked and spread, tossing themselves to either side in the vain attempt of evading Model Zero's energy wave. Regardless, the beam of energy soon reached the transparent barriers Zex had designed to keep energy attacks from harming the audience. Hell's Flash promptly self-destruct upon impact with the invisible shield. It seemed as if the air was rippling, metallic and hollow colors, like pressing a finger on the led screen of a monitor.
Then, Wrath stood before him in a blinding flash. His scouter beeps, warning the android of the beast's rapid approach, but he only had time to shift his eyes before Wrath's claws came striking down. Static still spurred over Man's body, temporarily hindering his movement. Finally, Zex's brother was able to land a solid blow and demonstrate just how ferocious his claws were; five precise incisions stretched over his unprotected shoulder -even with the reinforced fibers and strong metals layered under the skin, Wrath's claws cut through his shoulder like a hot knife in butter. Zero managed to minimize the damage with a quick step back, as the beast was capable of taking his entire arm with a single swipe of the hand -maybe even the entirety of his thighs. Gore dripped down his wounds with static chirping sporadically. However, he was an android. He could not feel pain, Ivan would tell him. He could not die for he was never alive to begin with, and whether he lost an arm or not was irrelevant since they could just rebuild it.
Still a bit overcharged, the android raised his arm once again and shot out another wave of incandescent energy towards Wrath; by now his energy levels would have regulated and his performance optimized. Even if the first blast missed, another would soon follow after it with hopes of hindering his foe. He could not allow Wrath time to heal his wounds. One after the other, he fired his cannon in succession to further demonstrate the unlimited resources stored within him -and all the while, unaffected by the ghastly wound inflicted by Wrath's razor-sharp claws.

Although their composition was quite different Wrath's claws and Zero's saber were capable of inflicting very similar damage. While the saber had the ability to plunge much deeper into it a foe than the aliens claws, like the dive it took through Wrath's forearm earlier, both had terrible cutting power. The large beast knew the sting of that small saber and now Zero would know the sting of his foes sharp claws...or at least see what they were capable of. The strike had not removed the androids entire arm as intended, Zex's brother having no qualms about dismembered the machine during this "spar." The Lord of Alpha Prime wouldn't havr cared either, it was only an android after all and could easily be repaired, sort of like a vacuum cleaner.
A toothy grin still dominated the hulking aliens head, a head that often seemed to small for the massive shoulders it sat upon. Wrath's bulk was often seen by his foes as a disadvantage, his lsrge size no doubt limiting his speed even with the massive power signature that accompanied it. That assessment was partially true for at times his larger body took slightly longer to pivot and turn compared to a small fighter like Zero. However, there was an advantage to his size that most smaller fighters might be aware of, but were probably unable to understand completely. His size minimized the damage from a number of attacks. Like with Zero's saber, a saber through the forearm of most creatures would most likely still result in a lost limb while the large alien had only received a puncture wound. The same went for punches and equally energy blasts. A hard punch to the shoulder or blast to the chest wasn't as devastating or all encompassing to him as it might be to someone with a smaller, lighter frame.
Having long ago learned of this natural advantage Wrath had learned to use it. Not that far from Zero still, the android only having moved back slightly, the alien doesn't even attempt to dodge the first blast. Instead he lifts his wounded left arm, braced by his right behind it. With energy spreading around him in a quick energy barrier he weather's the blast. As the second one came he was already pushing forward, taking the second one as well. Fast despite his size the alien bursts through the blast of the second shot with a roar, left arm in even worse condition after the two hits, hanging down at his side. Smoke rose from the rest of his body, scorch marks scatter across it from the close range blasts. Grinning wide still the beast came head-on...literally.
Bursting forth from the flash and explosion of the last blast Wrath drives forward, looking to ram his head into the forehead of the android. Zero might have a helmet on and be part machine, but the thick skull of Wrath was just as durable. So far the attacks the machine had taken seemed to stagger it little, but the alien assumed that a hard enough hit could still stun the android, components could be rattled after all. If you were to throw a computer down a set of stairs it didn't hurt the machine, but it sure as hell would hinder its functionality. Wrath figured Model Zero was no different.

Hell's Flash erupts vibrantly from the insides of his arm buster. The beam of energy, although ephimeral, envelops the alien like a torrent. However, as the beast Wrath is, he braved through the energy wave with his injured arm taking the front lines. Velvet puffs of smoke smear over his cumbersome figure, outlined shadows within, the android stands his ground and shoots out a second searing wave of energy. The arena carries out his cannon's roar, a guttural echoe encompassing the entire precipice. The ground shakes violently with every explosion, and Man's body jerks back along with every Hell's Flash he ejects from the wrist. His feet remain planted on the floor -but not for long.
The lumbering mammoth breaks through the android's second energy wave and emerges from the cloud of smoke with a thundering clamor almost as loud as the beam itself. Never in their lives, Zero, the scientists, or anyone except perhaps Prometheus, had ever witnessed Wrath express so much emotion. He grinned, but he felt pain; everyone could see the joy in the beasts ghastly visage and hear the sting of his wounds through the vibration of his voice. Zero stepped back, stupefied by the suddeness of the foe's approach. He failed to react in time before Wrath bent over and clobbers him head to head. The blow was met with little resistance; Zero's body ripples to the force of Wraths colossal might. Zero's helmet was powerful however, Ivan made it so sturdy it was almost as if he were hiding something -and perhaps he was. Although Wrath's power was bone-crushingly spectacular, the android escaped with a few cracks on his helmet; not enough to shatter it. The android's eyes were forced shut. As his feet are soon after lift off the ground, he is sent sprawling aback uncontrollably.
Moving a couple miles per hour, his body clashes with the tiled floor, grinds, rattles, bounces and rolls all the way to the other end of the arena until friction makes him halt. He laid on the floor with limbs spread wide, staring at the sky. His armor and skin were scraped and chipped, tarnished by the struggle of battle. Zero winced, static jolting over him; he tried to get up but something was not letting him do so. Whatever it was, it seemed to come from the scraped shoulder and his undulating forehead. The android was not often injured in battle, as it was difficult to find someone who could, and everytime he finally was, he found his performance was hindered by some mysterious and debilitating force and trying harder only made it worse. Man closed his eyes and replays his master's voice in his head. You're an android, not a man, He'd explain. Zero would stand idle and listen intently. He knew nothing about himself except that he had awakened -whatever that meant. He thought to be awake is simply to open your eyes. How many times does one awake in one day? The scientist served as a beacon of information he could find no where else. Who else but he would know about him? Who else but he would he listen to? Why else but not would he believe it? He had no reason to question his master's words, they were divine and final like that from a holy book. So he took them and soaked it up like a spunge. You have no desires, no needs, no emotion. You can't feel pain.
Zero's eyes shot up wide open; and moments after, he pushed himself back up from the ground, no longer hindered by these bizarre things which previously had him chained down. His body shivered and clattered, his head bogged, dazed by Wrath's brutal attack. But he soon recovered, and appeared unaffected. The android gazed across the arena to spot the alien. Wrath's arm, with which he boldly defended himself against the scorching beams of energy, dangled beside him. Steam rose from the dark thick skin of the monstrous being. Zero wondered whether his arm still functioned, but he would not allow him to recover. Reassembling his hand over the buster in his wrist, the android grabs his pistol and aims.
Bang!

Like one of the black freight trains from Earth the hulking alien burst forth from the explosions created by Zero’s wrist cannons. Barreling through them with a defiant roar Wrath couldn’t help but grin all the wider at the gasps from the scientist off in the distance. The android might have reacted the same if he had not been an assembly of wires and processors, for few in the Universe had seen a beast as powerful as Prometheus Zex’s brother. The burnt arm he had used to take the brunt of the two blasts drops to the side, the whole appendage a little numb after the shots, but nothing the alien couldn’t deal with. The damage had been well worth it, his thick skull rapidly descending to collide with the robots helmet covered head. Driving his forehead down into Zero’s resulted in audible thud as the two thick headed creatures met, the sound heard by Prometheus and most likely the two with their eye on Zero.
As the android flew backwards, the blow packing enough force to take him right off his feet, Wrath had the perfect opportunity to pursue. As Zero hit the ground on his back logic would lead him to believe that his opponent would pounce on him, taking advantaged of his prone state to launch follow up attacks, but such was not the case. Satisfied with the solid hit and the way it sent the android flying Wrath actually withdrew. Backing several dozen yards away the alien puts distance between them instead of closing it. A powerful and well versed fighter that loved a good offense he was also aware of the importance of defense. Capitalizing on his downed foe would have been the most obvious choice, but with only one good arm the black creature knew striking with it would leave him open, no second arm to defend against a counter attack. Already Zero had proven to handle damage quite well so it was likely that he wasn’t going to be stunned for long.
Standing a decent distance away as Zero lay on his back Wrath was working on his next move. He prepared no Ki blast or assault as he instead focused on his arm. Wrath and his brother’s regeneration was a passive ability of theirs that automatically began when they were wounded. It was not limited to that passive state though, by focusing Ki into a wound or damaged part of the body they could increase the healing rate and depending how well rested they still were able to heal at an alarming rate. Wrath was employing this advanced version at the moment, forcing Ki to flow through is arm as the appendage knits itself back together. Still grinning he figured the use of his second arm was worth more than a couple more blows with only one arm.
By the time Zero got to his feet and fired Wrath was ready for it. With the distance between them and the little damage the alien had taken, besides his now repaired arm, he was able to duck to the side of the shot. Prepared to dodge more of the bullets if Zero was to continue shooting, Wrath went back on the offensive. Black spheres of Ki formed in each of his clawed hands, growing to basketball size before he throws them. The two balls soar towards Zero, but pull up halfway to their target. Spinning up into the air above the coliseum floor the two spheres collide then burst, a storm of black energy beams raining down on Zero and half of the arena floor around him. The pair had tested each other out, now it was time to truly begin their contest.

The energy bullet ejected from his pistol flashed across the battlefield with lightning-like speed. It was small and fast, making it difficult to detect and even more so to dodge. However, Wrath was an experienced fighter one hundred and one times more adept than the young android who had existed for such an ephemeral time compared to his opponent. The hulking mass with a name ducked under the bolt of scorching ki, masterfully. Zero attempted a few more rounds to try and knit the hair of his chin, a small graze to make him feel something; unfortunately, Wrath evaded them all without harm whatsoever. It appeared that his arm had already recovered during the relatively short time it took for the android to stand back up on his feet. Troublesome, he thought. Ivan thought. The doctor thought. They all kept mental notes of the beast's astounding power and skill. Wrath was a truly gruesome creature in name, appearance, and ability. If anyone ever hoped to defeat someone like him, they would have to fight continuously without stopping. Perhaps, Zero was the only thing in the entire universe who actually stood a chance. If he were to possess the same raw power Wrath did, he had a very good chance of winning. Ivan had gone on and on about how Model Zero did not tire, feel pain, or emotion. Zero has no need for maintenance and he can fight; perhaps, for as long as it takes before his limbs are ripped from their sockets and the cannon in his chest -jammed and rendered useless.
Wrath dodged the energy bullets. In each hand, a sphere of black ki ripples to life. His raw power screams at the metal in Zero's armor. His helmet throbs as the two balls race down the battlefield. Zero immediately arches the blade of his saber diagonally across his chest and fastens the angle of his feet to the ground, preparing to intercept the energy blasts. He could already feel it. The wrath of his the alien's attack pressed against the blade of his sword, dragging his feet back on the floor. The sphere of energy buzzes and roars throughout the domed glass-walls dividing the arena and deep space. Seconds later he musters the built-up strength to push the sphere of energy back and propel it crashing into the other incoming ki blast. The black energy balls collide, crackling with ki as it rotates on the spot, spiraling into itself until the attacks implode among one another into a devastation explosion... -Or at least, that's how it might have happened if it were not for Wrath's deceptive technique.
His saber arched and ready to strike, just as the twin blasts of ki approached the android, they dart up into the sky spinning above the arena. The spheres of energy, rippling with raw power, collide into an extravagant display. Bursting at the seams, Man found himself under a cascade of rapid individual beams raining down on the arena. The polished, white tiles chip away under the reckless attack, as it pounds the ground incessantly. Model Zero braces himself, dancing betwixt the raindrops, evading as best he can. His golden long hair follows him eloquently and smoothly. Slashing his sword, he strikes those individual beams which get too close, tossing them aside. The beams run into one another and self-destruct while others burrow into the ground. Zero, using his small and lithe body, speed, and commendable sword technique, does his best to brave the storm through skill alone.

Wrath howled as his two blasts rose up into the air, the androids expressionless face almost seeming to harbor a look of surprise for a moment. The spinning black orbs rose higher until they collided in a violent explosion. From the duel detonation came a hail of blasts that rained down upon the metal man. The attack was a deceptive one for sure, but it was also a bit inaccurate. Wrath only had control of the technique until the two spheres collided then it was all up to chance, the resulting blasts having no predetermined of controlled order in which they fell. Zero, quick to react, was a prime example of how a quick foe could easily dodge his way around the falling energy. Of course Wrath was well aware of how the attack worked and on most occasions he used it for a distraction, a set up to one of his more devastating attacks.
As Model Zero wove his way between the attacks, dodging and deflecting them with his pesky saber the hulking alien was already preparing his next attack. Standing up straight compared to his normally hunched position the large alien spreads his arms out to the side. Extending them to his full reach his arm span was now over nine feet, the position most likely making him look even larger than he normally did. Like with his most recent attack energy began to gather in his hands. Forming spheres at first the energy then lances out from each palm to meet in front of the beast’s large chest. There the black Ki began to gather and swirl into a larger sphere. Roaring as he had done before, quite enjoying this chance to unleash his power so freely, the large alien poured more energy into the growing sphere. As the ball of energy spun faster other small spheres popped up around it.
Satisfied with the size of the attack, the sphere is front of his chest having reaching 4 feet in diameter, Wrath clenches his open hands into fists. The closure of his hands ends the flow of Ki into the technique as it then launches forward. Rocketing towards the android who was most likely dodging the last of the raining attacks the ball of Ki spun, the smaller spheres whipping around it like moons orbiting some dark planet. Wrath’s attack, Black Sun, was one of his most powerful, the sheer amount of energy he pours into it making it devastating. Model Zero had possibly done well to avoid the blasts from the previous attack, but this was the one he needed to get out of the way of. The question was, did he have the time save himself from this one?

Frantically, Man slashes at the individual ki blasts raining upon him. His silhouette blinks as he moves from one end to the other, evading harm. The deflected spheres burst against the ground and disperse, leaving nothing but steam rising from the scorched arena floor. Man's motor skills were phenomenal: he demonstrated masterful control and legendary precision with every thrust and swing from the green blade. The ease of his movements, non-mechanical in any sense of the word, questioned his identity as an android. How could a machine move so eloquently and fluent? He flowed like a river with the thunderous roar of a waterfall, but struck with speed akin to lightning.
Then, while Zero was busy fending off the barrage of ki blasts, Wrath prepared his real attack. Ivan shot up from his seat and leaned over the rail separating him from the battlefield. Delighted, the scientist peered at the dark sphere forming at the beast's center. Wrath's arms spread from side to side, fueling his attack from the palm of his hands and gathering the gruesome energy into a single and devastating attack. Zero's scouter went off the charts, warning him about the oncoming blast, but he could not afford to derail his attention from the energy balls falling from the sky like a deity enforcing his judgement upon the android. He listens attentively at the uprising, high-pitched shrill coming from the monstrosity that precedes him. The ground trembles, the overall temperature increases and the area around him brightens.
Finally, Wrath releases the black ball of rippling ki. The sphere rushes across the stage with smaller ones orbiting around it like a celestial system. The Coliseum vibrates under the shrewd powers of the alien's Black Sun. Ivan, shielding his eyes, he could not help to fight the blinding light and glance at the attack -even if it cost him his vision, he could only think of one thing. "Brilliant!" He said, although his voice was drowned by the roar of the sphere. "I need this power!" He exclaimed. "This is the power I want!" The scientist and doctor both were astounded by Wrath's amazing abilities. The Black Sun was more impressive than anything they had ever seen, and adding such an ability to Zero's arsenal would improve his performance to the hundredth power. The technique was so excellent it brought chills down the scientists back and tears swelling in his eyes. As a scientist, he was always curious and bewildered by the extraordinary. He was not thinking that perhaps the attack might disintegrate the android, his prized possession, or kill them all in a flash of light; he only thought about how he could harness that power and use it for themselves. If only they could talk Wrath into training Zero...
On the other hand, Man did not think about how amazing the attack was, he only thought about the number in his scouter which gave him a sense of the techniques intensity, and the short time he had to evade -there was no time. The android, saber in hand, intercepts the blistering attack with the blade of his sword arched towards it. The black sphere collides with a roar and pushes his feet dragging back against the arena floor, sinking into the crackling ground as it gives in to the pressure of the massive force fighting against him. Zero struggles to push the sphere back, but -so far- he is losing. With his attention completely focused on the one attack, he was wide open for any follow-up attacks.

Model Zero was much more graceful than Wrath was, the large aliens movements not quite as fluid as his slimmer foe, but Wrath had the advantage in raw power. Howling in enjoyment the hulking creature drowns out the rest of the sound in the coliseum save the roar of his own blast as he let it loose. Ivan’s voice was drowned out completely as the attack ripped free of the position it had taken before the creature’s massive chest. Unaware of the scientists new ambitions the younger of the two brothers was focused on the fight at hand, focused on completely obliterating the small robot that so deftly worked his way between the hailstorm of blasts from his previous attack. Prometheus on the other hand did not miss the obvious excitement that Ivan showed at the power behind his brother’s attack.
From his position across the arena Zex watches as Ivan jumped to his feat, almost throwing himself out onto the tiled floor if only to get a closer look at the powerful attack. Wrath’s Black Sun was indeed a powerful technique and if the human thought it was impressive with his power suppressed to such a low level then he had no idea what power was. Had the alien been at his full power, close to one million, the attack would have been strong enough to obliterate The Collective as a whole. From this distance the Lord’s ears could not pick up exactly what it was that Ivan yelled, nor could he accurately read his lips, but that did not mean he had no clue as to what had been said. The excitement that the man showed, the lack of care for the fact that the devastating attack was heading towards his prized possession hinted that his main focus was the power of the attack itself. Interesting….
While Zex watched one potential foe, Wrath eyes his current one. Initially he had thought the attack was going to end the fight, Zero not able to stand up against the blast and most likely not having the time to dodge it. To his credit the machine met it head on, saber intercepting the sphere the android began to slide back across the tiles, back into the scorched area he had just spent so much time dodging through. With the technique not enough to finish off the tireless machine Wrath went on the offensive once again.
Seeing that Zero’s sword did not have the power to cleave the sphere in half the large alien suspected he was trying to turn it aside, wanting to send it off into the energy absorbing barrier that surrounded the arena floor. Leaving the spot he had taken up across the arena from his opponent Wrath bounds forward, heavy footsteps quickening as he moves towards his foe. After half a dozen steps his strong legs shove off the platform, bukujutsu aiding his leap as his massive frame soars through the air. Doing his best to time his descent with when Zero finally managed to toss the blast aside, able to quicken or slow his fall through bukujutsu, Wrath raises both of his thick arms over his head. The extent of his plan was simple, drive the android through the arena floor. As he closed in Wraths powerful hands clasped together, fingering interlocking as he looked to deliver a primitive, but effective double axe handle blow to the machines head with crushing force.

The black sphere of ki ripples against the android's saber. His feet, steadily fastened to the ground, sink into the tiled floor as his body is forced back by the pressure of Wrath's devastating attack. Ivan peered with his frenzy hazel and blue eyes and a grin from ear to ear much too wide for him to bear. His initial excitement was with the alien's incredible attack -a technique he would have never known existed and much less expected the quiet beast to possess. However, now he admired Model Zero as his beloved machine held his own against the brutal force. The Doctor sat quietly in his chair, observing and fearing the worst. Unlike Ivan, the Doctor was more collected and saw the great risk in this 'spar'. Things were getting out of hand. If they were to lose Model Zero here then they would have to start from the very bottom and it was doubtful they would be able to recreate anything like him again.
The android's hands shackled as he fought to gain the upper hand on the black sphere. He did not wish to find out what it would do to his body if it were to hit him directly. His saber leaned ever closer as the ball pushed and struck with the smaller ones orbiting around its grand mass. Regardless, Wrath had made the erroneous assumption that Zero intended to deflect it towards the barrier surrounding the arena; that was not productive at all, he thought. Wrath was a beast with almost as much energy reserves as the android himself. He discovered this when attempting to absorb Wrath's energy, only to discover it was boundless. Therefore, it was unlikely that the android would outlast the beast through stamina alone, it was necessary to weaken the beast faster than he could regenerate and giving him a bit of his own medicine was the best thing he could think of.
The beast jumped high into the air, approaching from above while Zero continued to struggle against the raging blast of ki. Man monitored his displacement with the aid of his built-in scouter which tracked down his coordinates. Arching his elbows and lowering his knees, the android waited for the perfect moment before he lunged upwards and sent Wrath's Black Sun rampaging back from whence it came. "Way to go Zero!" Ivan exclaimed. The scientist had never enjoyed a fight the way he was today. He revels in it, unlike his reptilian apprentice who found it quite barbarous and unsavorable. In spite of that, he understood that sometimes; to avoid violence one must commit to it. If they could prevent fights by fighting, then he would make sure Zero had all he needed to continue doing so.

Again Wrath was a rather brutish fighter in most aspects of his style, Zero being much more calculating than his larger counterpart. To the alien the most logical response to the attack was pushing it off to the side, Wrath not having expected the android to posses enough strength to completely stop the attacks momentum in the way he had. So far the machine had been more capable than originally anticipated, even the more brutish of the two brothers grudgingly admitting the skill that Zero possessed. Still if he thought that sending his own attack back at him was not something the hulking beast was able to handle than he was sorely mistaken. Model Zero had a computer like ability to access situation and make predictions, but not even that allowed him to see every possibility…especially the less logical ones.
Soaring through the air the alien saw his mistake as he draw closer, but had a solid plan to correct the error, one that Zero would not be able to dodge this time. As his opponent starts to shift to throw the sphere up at him, Wrath uses his bukujutsu to descend more quickly. Both powerful arms still above his head he quickly closes the gap, the sphere of black energy having barely left the sword when his clasps hands swing down. Putting as much strength as he could muster into the blow the alien strikes the blast with his arms fully extended, putting his body at the same distance from it as Zero. The result of the sudden impact was…detonation.
Black Sun was designed to explode and obliterate anything it hit although it was not as powerful as it might have been with Wrath’s full power behind it. Still, the resulting explosion would no doubt engulf both of the fighters, the expanding darkness of the explosion burning away at them as the force attempts to throw them backwards. For his part the beast howled in anger as his own technique burned at his skin, layers of it peeling back under the intense energy of the blast. Despite his size the alien was hurtled backwards, tumbling through the air with smoke trailing behind him. Seconds later he lands roughly on the far side of the arena with growls of anger as he bounces and rolls to end up on his back. Smoking still Wrath felt his regenerating starting to take effect, but it would not be so quick this time. How had the android faired?
Prometheus for his part continued to observe in silence, not seeming too concerned with what had just happened to his brother. The way the alien Lord saw it all he needed to do was say the word stop and the android would instantly comply.

Wrath was a brutal creature. The scientist gawked in awe as the beast punctured through his own attack. However, the light emitting from the Black Sun was much too bright for them to see exactly what happened. In a matter of seconds, the entire arena was illuminated and the barrier rippled to the roaring cry of Wrath's attack as the explosion fought to break free from its boundaries. Ivan was too involved with the battle to even care, but his apprentice shyly scurried away in fear that Zex's barrier may give in and have them get taken away by the blast. The Doctor, as smart as he was, fear would not allow him to realize that -even if the barrier gave it- hiding behind a spectator's chair would provide no protection at all.
Model Zero, standing in the epicenter of the explosion, was blown away like a leaf. When he returned Wrath's attack back at him, he could have never predicted that the man would pound away at his own technique and have it detonate in their faces. This was the very unpredictability which made mortals so amusing. You never know what they are going to do next, they are, truly, illogical creatures. Only moments after gathering up all the muster he could manage and push that black sphere back from where it came, he saw Wrath's hands drop down on the energy blast and then the whole thing burst.
Waves of energy pulsate throughout the arena, eardrums beat to the thunder blast, his hair flutters frantically, his red jacket nearly disintegrating from his chest, the temperature rises, everything too bright for anyone to see he covers his face and eyes under his forearms which are crossed over his face; despite his efforts, Zero is promptly swiped off the ground and tossed away into the barrier itself. The android finds himself trapped as his body is pushed against the shield which protects the audience from their attacks. It wasn't until the explosion finally wastes away that he dropped back down to the hard and solid ground at the other end of the arena.
The android stood up from his crouched position soon after and observed his opponent. Although they were only inches away from the explosion, Zero wasn't affected as much as Wrath. Zero never physically touched the Black Sun and therefore his body remained in tact; steam rises from the etches of his skin, and pieces of his red jacket fall to the ground. Wrath, on the other hand, had his skin peeled off his hands; it was an expected injury considering the magnitud of his technique and the power behind it, especially since he jammed his fist in it. Zero could only predict what the effects might have been if he had taken in the blast directly.
His saber was still out and ready. Wrath was injured, and his regenerative abilities were fast. Zero would not waste haste with such an opportunity to get the upper hand. It no longer bothered him that the alien was able to simply wipe away the bounds inflicted by his blade because they were genuinely shallow compared to what appeared to be third degree burns that Wrath had just endured. Certainly, Wrath only resorted to those tactics because he could, no other being in their right might would ever make such a barbarous and sacrificial blow without his incredible regenerative abilities, it just was not worth it unless it concerned a life and death situation. If this is how Wrath fought in spars, one could only imagine him fighting for his or his brother's life. Readying his blade beside him, the android jolts forward to continue his onslaught against hulking alien.

Prometheus watched with the same neutral expression he had maintained the entire fight. His brother was reckless, he knew that, but he was never usually so careless to injure himself to this magnitude. Even Zex had to shield his eyes from the resulting blast as Wrath drove his clawed hands into the sphere to detonate it. The tactic made since, Wrath could regenerate and the machine could not, but his brother had not taken into account the armor plating that covered a fair amount of Zero’s body. From what the alien Lord was able to see the armor took most of the damage, the machine defiantly worse for wear after the blast, but fairing much better than his fleshy brother. Perhaps he needed to let his sibling practice more often, it almost seemed as if he was rusty…or then again he might just be entertaining himself since there was no serious threat to his life this day.
Wrath, still resting on his back tilts his head to the side to observe what damage his foe has taken, a little surprised when the android begins to make his way across the arena floor with little delay after the explosion had burned itself out. In all his years the hulking beast had fought many an enemy, but he had never fought against a mechanical foe with so much power and resilience…at least to what he was capable of in this reserved state. Chucking some with amusement, Wrath remains on his back, feeling the twinge of badly burnt skin on various parts of his body. Lying on his back he waits, letting his regeneration heal away the skin that had been damaged. Compared to the regeneration that existed in the children’s tales of trolls and other fantasy creatures, Wrath’s was again a little unique. Through generations of adaptation his race had developed a special type of regeneration, one not affected by the cauterizing power of Ki blasts.
Although his skin was healing faster than most races that possessed the same skill, it was not instant. Model Zero burst towards him, having to travel the almost the full width of the coliseum floor to make it to his resting place, but even with the size of the fast arena it would only take seconds. Still need more time for his body to fully recover from his own powerful blast, dead skin still sliding off his frame as new skin replaced it, Wrath watched his foe. As Zero approached the large alien did nothing, letting the Ki in his body flow solely into his regenerative trait, using the valuable seconds to heal as much as he was able.

Even as the android approached, the alien remained lying on the ground. He must have known Zero was on his way. The android pondered what would be going through the alien's mind. Perhaps the injury of Wrath's own attack had a much larger impact than initially presumed. He may have the guts and ferociousness to perform ridiculous stunts like peeling the skin from his arms off, but the pain could not be waived so easily. Wrath may have the ability to regenerate, but he was still a mortal capable of feeling pain and in need of the commodities of life; in that sense, Model Zero was superior despite that boundless power stored insead the beast. If only and when Zero was as strong was Wrath, there would not be a force capable of stopping him. Ivan understood this, the doctor understood it, and perhaps even Zex might have dawned upon the thought. The lord would be untouchable with both of them at his side. Two beasts; one who regenerates and the other who does not feel pain nor tires.
The android's body was relatively unscathed. Wrath's Black Sun technique was phenomenally powerful, however, -fighting at equal powerlevel- it never really touched the android. Zero had stopped it with the blade of his energy sword and pushed it back towards the airborne Wrath when the alien struck the sphere in midair and caused the blast to self-destruct and envelope them in a gargantuan explosion. Therefore, Zero only suffered from the backlash of Wrath's technique: the heat, the powerful winds, the indominable force which pushed him off the ground and pinned him against the transparent barrier Prometheus had installed in the Coliseum to protect the audience. His body was crushed between a rock and a hard place, the strength of the blast radius contricting him to the corner of the arena. It wasn't until the explosion dwindled down that the android was able to fall back down to hard ground and recollect his posture. His armor suffered burnt marks and chipped edges, but the android continued to feel virtually unafflicted by the attack, and so now he rushed towards the alien.
Wrath was definitely up to something. Zero would not think him to just lie on the ground without reason, whether it were to save energy and focus on regenerating his limbs or psyche the android out to sneak a surprise attack. Regardless, Zero would not allow Wrath to continue to regenerate uncontested for as long as he was able to move. The android cut the distance between them in relatively no time at all and it would not be long before he was upon the hulking beast that continued to lie on the ground. Zex had not told him to stop, Wrath had not thrown in the towel, so the android would not stop despite him lying on the ground ostensibly defenseless. If the alien did not move, he would find himself purged by the android's energy blade as he thrust downward through Wrath's abdomen and into the hard floor of the arena. If the alien somehow mustered the speed to dodge right then and there, the android would pursue him with a second strike without further notice. Zero would chase Wrath with his blade at hand and slashes continuously.
