So here I am sitting at work, I am actually sitting Truffle, bored and I began to think of ridiculous techniques. Got me thinking as to what everyone has seen in shows or manga as to ridiculous powers.
So what are some of the most OP techniques you have ever seen in anime/comics/manga?
For me it is Aizen's shikai from bleach. You see his blade once and you are forever at its mercy of ultimate illusions. The other is just Superman. He is stupidily broken on the power scale.

The plot power of Super Saiyan.
While I agree that Superman is broken, Goku is just as broken. The only time I can recall him ever having his arse trully handed to him without the posibility of pulling a win out of no where, was in a non-canon movie. All it takes to get him to win the day is make him angry.

Giorno Giovanna's Gold Experience Requiem, basically can set any action or even a person's willpower to zero if they are just within the attention of the stand. It can basically erase the 'effect' of any action.
Give me a bit to get sorted and I'll have a list lol

Evil Containment Wave No matter how weak you are, you can trap a stronger foe in a small container for the price of your life. The plot power of Super Saiyan. While I agree that Superman is broken, Goku is just as broken. The only time I can recall him ever having his arse trully handed to him without the posibility of pulling a win out of no where, was in a non-canon movie. All it takes to get him to win the day is make him angry. Goku lost during his first fight with King Piccolo. He didn't win until he received training from Kami. After that, I agree with your statement -although Goku trained his ass off non-stop. Following this website's logic, because he is always training, he already had the necessary PL to unlock his SSJ trans, he just needed a trigger realize it. Then again, maybe your arguing about the ability to become SSJ itself.

My point is more that Goku suffers from Goku syndrome. He has plot armor unto a ridiculous extend.
As for King Piccolo, I only saw a few episodes of DB. I think up until the point where he learned Kameha and put out a forest fire with it.

Without his friends and son Goku would have died against Vegeta... He was literally in a body cast haha.
But an OP attack and person I would have to say is fuggin Ichigo Kurosaki. He is literally every race, he defeated Gotei 13 the gods of death smh... He cannot be killed and if he is he just turns Vasto Lorde Arrancar and owns anyone and everything.

Naruto. That series made a bad habit of equipping their villains with impossibly difficult techniques and then for the sake of the plot had them use these techniques poorly. Take pain for example. There were a dozen times that pain, by himself, could have tracked, hunted, and sealed all of the jinchurike (sp?). He demolished the leaf village without any effort at all and could have killed naruto if not for his own arrogance. All of the akatsuki for that matter had op techniques. Itachi and his mangekyou, hidan was literally invincible.
Kabuto and madara fought against the entire continent using reanimation. They had a zombie army capable of mass destruction. Two people!
So yeah, that whole show.
Still loved it.

Yeah your right Saito. Madara was pretty much a god. The Sharigan in general is OP. And Pein could have easly leveled every single village in a single day haha

Gotta' love Madara's meteor attack. When I first saw it I was like, "How in that world can that even be counted as a ninja attack or reflect back on Japanese culture? It took me a while to read into it but I think that was meant to represent Izanagi's pain when birthing Amaterasu, Tsukiyomi, and Susanoo. Talk about painful.
There is a manga out there for Dragon Quest that's old but also drawn in the same style as Dragon Ball. If you look into one of the rival characters Hyunkel and how he fires off his Grand Cross attack you will definitely see the power in it.

Pretty confident that Akira Toryama was behind Dragon Quest Manga. And I know he is responsible for the games. As for OP techniques... Wrath from FMA was basically invincible and could do whatever he wanted Alchemy-wise. Had he been mature enough to use his skills, he would have been able to pretty much conquer everything. So yeah...
