Justice. That had been a word Saito had never associated with himself. Truly just as Sekai had said, the great King Yemma had found a quality within Saito that the Crane hadn't known was even there. Thinking back, he never stood back from what he believed was unjust. Perhaps, in fact, that was the driving factor for most of his actions. He had contemplated many a night why he felt obligated to fight against the likes of Kemuri, or Tundra. Even when Akassa arrived the man stuck his neck out, only to have his head removed. Why did he insist on fighting battles that were not his own. As the fighter began to fade, his choices culminating to the best possible outcome, he realized that his entire life had been a fight against the unjust. He had fought against his Father, raised a school in a climate of uncertainty, and defended those he felt were treated unfairly. He had inadvertantly fought proudly for the sake of justice. He knew now what his purpose had always been. He was not a hero, and he certainly wasn't a villain. He played a roll somewhere inbetween. He was an equalizer. It was his duty to insure that anyone fighting the good fight was supported, and anyone innocent found safety.
Perhaps that is why he had felt so much anger for Conri and Kurosunai. They were not wrong in their opinion. Akassa Hattori had no right to claim Earth for her own, and no right to attack it. She had brought an army and expected obedience. She had known that wouldn't be the case. She made a big spectacle under the assumption that Earth's warriors would come to its rescue, and they had played right into her hands. Saito as well. However while Conri and Kuro began fighting almost immediately, Saito couldn't bring himself to fight until he was certain peace could no longer be obtained. That was justice. Conri could play the hero, he was better at it. He was stronger. Saito however was a thinker. His strategy had proven effective in several forms of combat and the more he learned about the Earth and the real world, the more he found he understood it. It was like a working machine, each part playing a significant role.
"Thank you"
Were his final words before his body faded from the brilliant mahogany desk and appeared in front of the notably longest bridge he had ever seen in his life. The head of a snake, followed by a twisting and turning road. While he had not been told to go anywhere, it seemed the only reasonable option. There appeared a staircase a few feet away, small, dark, and crudely painted above the steps were the letters H.F.I.L. He would avoid those stairs, and instead opt for the snake surrounded by bright orange clouds. If the snake had a head, it undoubtedly had a tail. Taking a step forward Saito felt the familiar clack of his sandles. His black Crane uniform had reappeared. His nakedness now covered by what he had worn most often. They were not the clothes he had died in, which meant at some point Saito had imagined himself in them. Perhaps Yemma had known this was Saito's favorite outfit. His chest no longer bore the stinging sensation of death, only a circular patch of discolored skin. Ha, the Queen had created almost the same mark Kemuri had. Her's was smaller and only a few inches below the one on his shoulder.
With each clack of his Sandels the warrior felt his Ki returning to him. His life energy as well had been restored, and his health was in perfect condition. Sans of course, being dead. If not for the annoyingly bright halo floating above his head, he may not have even noticed. His speed had increased significantly. His battle with Akassa had undoubtedly caused his power to increase. Stretching out his Ki muscles was much like stretching a balloon. Each time he hit his maximum, it increased just a little more. Saito wondered just how far he could push himself now. He hoped more than anything an attack like that would never be necessary again. As he sprinted his way across the winding road he had time to think a lot on his death. Would it still have been just to kill Akassa? She had certainly asked for it, literally. She had told the warriors to voice their grievances now, and they had done so. Does that then give him permission to exact deadly force? This new life he had been given, this new world. If he was going to live in it he needed a code. He had a few rules already, but they would pale in comparison to his code. He needed a cut and dry determination of right and wrong. He needed a way to make difficult decisions without focusing on the pathos of it all. He needed to make sure that he would handle every situation in the same manner. If he was willing to spare Akassa Hattori, he had to be willing to spare everyone else he came in contact with. Justice was usually met with fairness, though not equality. It was a complicated matter he hoped to handle further once he reached his destination...wherever that was.
After a few hours it became apparent that running would only get him so far, more importantly he was beginning to feel a familiar attribute of life. Hunger. Perhaps he was alive and just didn't know it. With nothing around him to eat, it meant finishing was his only option. It was time to speed things up. His running became a bit faster as his body began to change. His Phoenix form felt right, the golden skin shining brightly against the illuminated sky. There was no sun, yet the sky was lit perfectly. Once the transformation was complete his legs could kick off, his body entering an extreme sensation of flight. It was faster than running around each corner and as his arms cut through the air he felt more alive than he had in several weeks. Ironic as it was, it felt good.
This feeling wouldn't last long as his body strayed too far from the path. Snake way was still well within his sight, but what lurked this far from it was dangerous. Without any warning at all a black whip of dark matter shot up from the clouds, wrapping tightly around Saito's ankle. Catching him off guard he had no choice but to be pulled down towards the clouds. His heart sank, a sudden startled fear rushing through his blood. He had seen the painted stairwell, he knew what lurked beneath the clouds. That simply wasn't an option. Clenching his fists tightly his skin was set ablaze, his holy fire wrapping around his skin and then within an instant exploding from around him. The dark matter released him, and Saito quickly flew upwards. Looking down he realized what a mistake he had made. The explosion of fire around him had opened up the clouds, and as if a squid lived beneath them a dozen tentacles of dark matter shot up to attack him. The Phoenix powered his feet with the righteous fist energy. The name did not make it solely for his hands. The energy aided him in kicking away several of the blasts. His sharp taloned fingers slicing away through the others.
Like a hydra, each cut through tentacle sprouted an extra head, sending a second in its place. Despite his speed at cutting through them, the tentacles only returned more ferocious and in greater number. He had to escape it. His left leg was caught. Once it was immobile, several other whips latched onto it pulling down hard. The sensation was less than pleasant and while his leg hurt, the idea of his soul spending the remainder of its time in Hell was even more devastating. Looking around Saito noticed the pattern of their attack. The clouds hand been removed, and were returning slowly as the light regenerated them. The light from the outside seemed to be the only thing stopping the tentacles from flying higher. If his theory was correct, they could not over extend themselves because of the lights rays. His hands flew up to his forehead. This attack had been his trump card for some time. Left unused since his learning it. With a deep roar the Phoenix released it.
"Taiyoken!"
The bright light that eminated from his body struck the tentacles. While any other being would have just been blinded, the light had been so bright that it had forced the whips into retreat. After releasing his leg the warrior shot up into the sky. When the tentacles attempted to come after him they found that he was in fact too high up, and after a few seconds the clouds swallowed the awful abonimation once more. A close call. With the dangerous whips still on his mind, the Phoenix took to the ground, saving his energy and reverting back to his blond human form. He was close now. Flying had cut his trip in half and within a few hours he would be there. He was ready for whatever stayed at the end of the marvelous snake way. He was ready to find out about himself and learn exactly what justice meant. Perhaps the individual at the other end could help him figure it out.
(I don't know what your planet looks like, so I left my arrival vague. Assume that I jumped from snake way and have arrived on your planet. I will add it to my next post.)

Eregansu sat on the boulder overlooking the lake. Its pristine appearance was one of the things that she adored the most about their plane of existence. They could enjoy the best of the world without so much as dreaming of the worst. Well at least not normally. Shizukesa often wandered the grounds in Heaven speaking to the souls that had passed on. Her sister was always so kind to all of those she met. Eregansu could not understand why. Sure she would never harm a mortal out of hatred or loathing that was for the lowly demons that resided in Hell but they often got her nerves. Most had their head in the clouds and their egos the size of skyscrapers. There was often nothing special about mortals.
As she pondered her frustration and annoyance with the mortal races she noticed something odd. For whatever reason King Yemma’s magic had failed to transport a soul that was Heaven bound to Heaven and then the fool thought it would be smart to wander down snake way. No one had lived there is centuries and he would find nothing but empty houses. This mortal man even thought he should head towards a small little planet that had been abandoned long ago during the Great War. Letting out a sigh Eregansu would rise to her feet. The soul belonged in Heaven as proclaimed by the ogre and as such it was time to make sure the soul entered Heaven and stayed there like the rest of the inhabitants.
In a blink of an eye Eregansu was gone from the plane of paradise, when she opened her eyes she would be in between the realms of Heaven and Hell or what this mortal thought of as Snake Way. Eregansu would actually appear right in front of the human dead mortal even as he approached her at top speed. With a simple touch of her finger to his body as he closed in on her they would disappear from the space that lingered in between. The next thing the human would know was that he was now in Heaven far away from the place he was flying. Eregansu would not even say a word to him before turning and starting to fly off. She had done her job and retrieved the soul that was supposed to be in their custody. He would not be able to leave Heaven without one of their permissions and that was not a likely scenario.
“Stupid ogre…he needs to get his gavel checked…” She would mumble under her breath as she began to float away.

The jump had landed him atop a very small planet. A barren one. It could hardly be described as a planet though its gravity was very real. The warrior was accustomed to training in much worse, but the feeling was noticeable. He had clearly reached his destination, or so he thought. He had only a moment to look around before a being appeared in front of him. Without words the female touched him and again his body felt the shimmering extacy of being transported away. He could do nothing but accept it, and at this point it was welcomed. With no clear direction it was good to finally have someone there to assist him. When the shimmering ended he found himself in what could only be described as paradise. His body felt warm, but not hot. Cool but not cold. He felt joy and satisfaction, and had he let it, the sensation might have carried him off.
Opening his eyes he found that his savior was now floating away, no words having been shared between them. Looking around it appeared he was the only one, which made his situation even more uneasy. Despite being in heavan, there was something uncomfortable about it. It was so very final. As she floated carelessly away, Saito picked up in a run beneath her. She was the only being anywhere near him, and he was hoping for some answers, or guidance. Anything really to help him out here. Was he supposed to just drift in this world without a care? The sensation of having nothing would probably eat him up.
"Excuse me! Down here!"
Now he felt foolish. He could fly. Jumping up and allowing his Ki to float up and into the air he attempted to meet the girl in the air, hopefully she would stop for him, but if not he would simply fly next to her.
"Thank you for the assistance. I am new to...uh...death"
Now he really felt foolish. Saito was hardly a talker, and he rarely asked for help. This was all new territory for him. If she left, he would have no one else to turn to. He had to pull himself together and speak clearly.
"I have a great many questions, and you are the only person around to answer them. My name is Saito"
If they were stopped he would hold out a hand. Being courtious as always. If however she was still flying away from him, he would simply try to keep pace with her.

The man stammered and stuttered at her. What was honestly more annoying than a person following you like a sick puppy? Answer: not much. The pestering continued and it only continued to eat away at Eregansu’s patience. This was never her forte and that was why she left dealing with the mortals to her sister Shizukesa. However she made the mistake of actually interacting with this one. She really should have just left him to wander the desolate planet he actually stumbled on. It was actually surprising considering that she thought everything had been destroyed for the most part. After all it was almost unheard of for finding any artifacts since most had been lost and almost no one ever went looking because everyone knew the war destroyed everything.
"Thank you for the assistance. I am new to...uh...death"
Correction: there was something more annoying than a lousy follower, it was this guy. There was almost no one who was not new to death. What kind of idiot says something like that? Eregansu dropped her head and continued to float quicker away from the initial landing spot. However as she continued to float away he only seemed to follow her more. Why would he not just leave her alone? She really didn’t want to deal with mortals at all but he didn’t seem to get it. Eregansu though was not going to give in and would just continue to ignore this fool so that she could go back to enjoying the peace of her home.

After giving the person his name he was quickly aware of her annoyed expression. She refused to make eye contact or even acknowledge that he was there. Though she had been helpful in pointing him in the right direction, now she pretended as though he didn't exist. His one remaining eye squinted in frustration. He had found his way to heaven only to be ignored by the only person he could find. He had been as polite as possible and gotten no response. It was not in Saito's nature to be rude, despite how he was treated. He would however make it apparent that he would not be going away any time soon. She could stop and acknowledge him, or he would continue to seek answers from her. It really didn't seem like that much to ask.
"I'm afraid you must not have heard me. I introduced myself and asked for your assistance. Are you unable to speak?"
A flash of his own attitude flared. Obviously she was capable of speaking, they both knew it. The faster she flew, the faster Saito flew as well, his own power level rising with each passing moment in order to keep up. Her speed was picking up at a steady rate, but it wasn't anything Saito couldn't keep up with. Perhaps the other individuals dropped into heaven came well aware of what to do and how to do it. Saito was not one of those people. He had nothing to guide him with the exception of this particularly condescending kai.
"There is no reason to be rude. I'm sorry if my death is a burden on you, but to blatantly ignore me is rather callous. I'm afraid I have no where else to go and nothing else to do. If you cannot help me just say so, otherwise I suspect this will be a long day"
If she wanted to ignore him that was fine. He would keep pace with the Kai so long as his Ki would let him.

“I did hear you but the difference is that I really don’t want to talk to you. I returned you to where you are supposed to be.” Eregansu spat back at the human after hearing his first statement. Mortals were always so entitled. They never wanted to die. They wanted paradise. They wanted training from Shizukesa so that they could grow ever stronger. It was a bit pathetic and incredibly annoying. When the man continued to follow her and press the issue it began to really grate on Eregansu’s nerves. That was when she heard the tone that he was using. It was in that moment that Eregansu stopped flying to hover in the place. The wind flowed past her and through her hair.
Taking a deep breath she tried to calm herself but the fact that he was not leaving her alone did not help in the slightest. She was going to have to deal with him otherwise she was never going to get some peace and quiet. Or at least handle this idiot until Shizukesa realized that there was a mortal of decent potential in their home.
“Let me ask you. Why should I even care what a man who destroyed the home of his student’s home? I mean you are the one that did not think twice as you fired that blast in the direction of your school. And before you state that they had escaped they really hadn’t. Sure they were in the bunker underneath the school or in the shuttles as they left but you destroyed your legacy and their home. Why should I care about anything you say? What truly makes you worthy of staying on this plane of existence?” Eregansu frustratingly growled.

The goal had been to get the Kai's attention. He had succeeded. She stopped in place, as did Saito and with a long winded response managed to sum up the only regret the warrior had displayed before King Yemma. He hated having to leave his students behind, and even more so he hated having destroyed the home he spent so much time and effort on creating. The Crane school had been nothing more than a relic when he arrived at it only a year or so ago. Up until recently it was the most beautiful building in all of north central. He and his brother had spent many months building and putting together their dream dojo, and in a single attack Saito had wiped it out. All of his belongings, all of his work, all of their longevity. Yes, the impact of what he had done was not lost on the warrior, and when the Kai finally finished her response Saito had one of his own. Something he had not done in a very long time, and few individuals had ever witnessed. He began to laugh.
First it was just a cracked smile. He covered his mouth as the chuckle started in the back of his throat, but eventually there was no holding it in. His chest rose as he took in a few deep breaths trying to maintain his composure. Tears began to whell in his eyes, entirely born of what was now a hysterical laughter. Running his right hand through the mess of blond hair, and raising his left arm over his head to try and control his breathing he began to calm down. A hint of the laughter ever present in his voice as he spoke.
"You certainly can speak. I have met two people since dying and both have known my entire life story...I'm sorry, really. Sorry..." He took a few more breaths to clear the laughter from his speech. He wanted to respond fully to her without cracking up again. "From the moment my chest was run through I have been asked questions. The red giant practically asked me for the meaning of life. Unfortunately miss I haven't got a single answer for any of this. Yesterday I was content training my students and leaving the leading to the people who wanted it. Kurosunai wanted to rule the planet, so let him. Conri wanted to be its Guardian, fine by me. At the ripe old age of 28 I had built a home, adopted a family, and somehow gained the title of Crane Master. I can just feel my father's chest aching at the idea."
Another smile, but he held in the laughter. This woman had hit the nail on the head. She wasn't sure why Saito was worth helping, and neither was Saito. His entire life had been centered around a reality that couldn't possibly exist. He had been raised thinking that martial arts was a sport. While some would call it that, his father had unknowingly turned Saito into a bloody hero. While the rest of his brothers and sisters sat on Mt. Paozu, likely unaware of what a saiyan is, or that they were invading, Saito was dead from having faced the threat and failed. His entire lifes work vanished by his own hands. It was so incredibly tragic he could do nothing but laugh. Laugh at himself, and at mortality. What a cruel joke mortality was.
"Miss if I could have stayed with my students underground I would have. I would have waited out the storm. Let Conri die fighting for what he believed in. Let Kuro settle his old grudges without a second thought. Hell I probably should have. I don't give a damn who says their in charge." His voice finally took a more serious tone. Whatever had spurred his momentary laughter was gone. The entire experience of being dead was new, and frightening, and exciting, and a number of other neurotic emotions. "That isn't who I am though...I couldn't have sat underneath the Earth as my comrades fought. Even if I can never fully understand their politics...They needed me."
He had trailed off now. The girl had asked a very simple question, why should she bother with him. He took a deep breath and looked away for a moment, viewing a small patch of grass covered by the shade of a drifting cloud. After a deep exhale he spoke again.
"Those kids are way smarter than me. When I found them they were training on their own, no families to take care of them. My boys are special and they will do great things with or without me...As for why you should give a damn...My ignorance is my own problem. I don't know what to do, I never have. I still haven't a clue who you are either. God, an Angel, or just another of the dead. Whatever you are you know more than I do. If you tell me right now that my destiny is to find a nice patch of grass and fade away on it, I think i've found the perfect spot." He looked back over, it did look comfortable. "But if that isn't my destiny...If death is just another step on a new path...please help me figure it out. I've never claimed to be the smartest guy, obviously smart people don't die this young. A smart guy would still be in their bunker waiting out the shit storm from above. I have no where else to go."
Saito was not a man of words. He had no idea who this woman was or why for that matter she was so bitter. She had her out, and Saito had all of eternity to figure things out if she wouldn't help him. He hoped that wouldn't be the case. He was never great at figuring things out for himself.

This mortal was infuriating to no end. First he would not leave her alone and now she was being laughed at. Eregansu could feel the blood beginning boil under her green skin. Shizukesa had such a higher tolerance for mortals and their drivel than her sister. She never understood it. She listened as he spoke of others that were to be judged or would more than likely be judged. It was not her place to speak on those issues. It was up to King Yemma one of the few creatures that lingered in the realm between Heaven and Hell though the others were much more strange. She actually trusted her knowledge of the demons and their movements over that of the ones that remained in the void.
“Death is a part of the circle of life. Or were you asleep in your elementary school class? Death replenishes those around you and creates a new well to draw upon. What you mortals did, every single one of you, was downright disgusting. You fight over trivial things like they actually mattered in the grand scale of things. Power, leadership, and politics. All pointless in comparison of the workings of the other planes. Damned mortals…” Eregansu would curse as she began to fly past him. She really wanted no part of him one bit. She would continue until there was a decent amount of distance between the two.
“Do you truly want to know what devastation looks like mortal? Do you really want to know what happens when your kind seeps their ilk into this world?” Eregansu yelled back. Sure she was avoiding his question but it did not matter. What she did was of her own accord and she did not have to take orders from anyone. Especially this one eyed human.
“Saito Kito, do you truly want to see what happens when mortals stain this universe with their sin?” Eregansu would ask with the most serious tone she had used in a very long time.

What was this woman's problem? It became obvious with her response that this individual floating around the plains of eternal happiness and bliss was in fact neither of those things. She was certainly not kind, and obviously not happy. If anything she appeared jaded. Saito wasn't certain what he had done to earn that attitude, but rather than taking his bait and helping him the woman offered him a consolation prize. A look into the greatest impact mortal life had on each other. Saito let the Kai float away, her speed not so great as to panic him into chasing her. Once the distance was obtained a small wind picked up between them. Her tone shifting from one of annoyance to one of a far more serious nature. Perhaps Saito had finally struck a nerve. He was no longer just the annoying human, but one she was willing to enlighten. Whether she noticed it or not, she was attempting to cure an ignorance that had been long seated in Saito Kito.
His initial answer would have been no. Whatever has made her so bitter is clearly not something that should be viewed by just anyone...but Saito had new goals. His talk with Yemma had left him more informed on his own moral compass than he had ever been. It was clear to him that the path he needed to take was one of justice and fairness. Yet all throughout his journey he had acted in accordance with what others thought. The King had vast experience, and so he followed his advice. Kaladar had wisdom, and so he took his word. Conri was a galactic champion, he followed his lead. It was time for Saito to gain his own experience, wisdom, and strength. No longer could he stand by letting others make the decisions. They were not always right, and what had it gotten him? If he was going to do this, it had to be done right. After a few moments of heated silence, and in a low voice he replied.
"Yes"
Saito was not usually a man of many words. His previous speeches had been a rarity and with all of his soul on display he hardly felt the need to say more. If this woman could truly show him the horrific impact of mortallity, he wanted to see it. He needed the perspective in order to understand how the universe functioned. What did fairness look like. How could he possibly contribute to the afterlife if he couldn't understand the world he had come from. Saito was done with his own ignorance of the world. He couldn't blame his father forever. It was time now to take his first major step on becoming a greater being. He would start with the worst of it.

They often say patience is a virtue. It was a virtue that Eregansu often lacked and it was understandable. When you had whiny little mortals bugging you left and right every day from what the menu was for the night and how come they didn’t have this shiny new toy. It was ridiculous to listen to their gripes sometimes and often Eregansu would just tune it out. But when someone showed a lack of patience it irked Eregansu Mortals continued time and again what it was that pissed her off. The kais were there to aid them in their eternal peace. They took time out of their days to make sure that these pathetically impatient mortals to make sure that they were not left alone. It was their jobs to make the afterlife so enjoyable. Yet did the kais ever get any true appreciation for the time that they put in for making these miserable mortals afterlife enjoyable? No. So when lack patience was displayed it was not just irking it was a sign of disrespect. Patience was a virtue and it was something to be remembered. Patience and what she was about to show the mortal human. These were the reasons why she the mortals irked her so much.
Eregansu needed to take a breather. She was breaking her own morals and was letting her own lack of patience slip through. With a deep breath she was ready to show the human Saito Kito what it was actually like seeing the sins of mortals contaminate the holy world that he had seen before him. Now she had not been there to see what she was about to show directly but through Shizukesa and by extension the Dai Kaioshin. Extending out her own hand a ball of energy began to swirl in the palm of her hand.
“Reality marble.” The kai spoke as her own eyes began to glow. The energy began enlarge until it grew to the point that it engulfed not only Saito Kito but also the foreseeable area. Everything would be cloaked in a giant white glow. When everything faded gone was the rolling hills of green and the sparkling blue water and the sweet wind. In return was nothing but fire and barren earth. The air smelled of cinders and the sky was clouded with smoke. There were both kais and demons alike strewn across the ground in various forms. This was what the Great War between Heaven and Hell had left of the paradise loved by mortals so much. This was what had happened to her home. This was why she had grown distasteful towards mortals.

Had he not just asked for the opportunity to see it, he would have been rather disturbed by the distortation for reality. It was mentally unnerving even as he was expecting it. Closing his eyes to refocus he found that once his eye opened once more that the entire landscape had changed. The beautiful heavan he had been sentenced to was no longer fully of vibrant colors and peaceful souls, but instead an all out war. The smell in the air wreaked of blood, a smell Saito was only familiar with from previously bloody encounters. Never anything on this scale. For a moment he watched in silence, taking in the action below. Many of these creatures were not mortals that he knew of. Some appeared to be demons from the folk lore he had learned. Others some form of alien he had never seen. Whatever this war was, he knew not the context. This did not leave any less of an impact.
One creature, using a weapon Saito had never seen before, cleaved the head clear off another. The weapon was shaped like a schimitar, but serrated like a saw and much more circular like a chakram. It was intimidating to say the least. Another creature, completely red and covered in horns, was piling through a fully armored set of smaller humanoid creatures. Its horns lit fire, adding a distinct pain to the already deadly force. The gore was almost too much to watch. Yet Saito kept his eye open, scanning and viewing as much as he could. He watched as these warriors fought, and then he saw something even more incredible. A picture he had once seen. One of the ancestors of the crane. A human male with a magical Jagan eye, the last of its kind. It occurred to Saito that having lived for so many years, he had hardly scratched the surface of humanities time in the universe. He was watching the final moments of a gruesome war, one that ended in the complete annihilation of many souls. Tien Shinhan had been the only face he recognized, and the only reason he noticed the soul was because of its expert utilization of Saito's most powerful technique. The Tri-Beam. He watched with futility as the human fired near perfect blasts at the incoming beasts, only to be run over within minutes. This war had truly been overwhelming.
Had he known any other members of the original Z fighters he may have witnessed their death as well. Being the final crane master of his generation, Tien was an Icon, a Legend. Almost a fairytale, however Saito knew now that he had at one point been very real, and even in death the man had been noble and served his purpose. Saito felt sick, but where that sickness grew so did a power. He wanted to jump in. Despite their inability to fight off the forces, he wanted to fight. He wanted to help. Obviously he could not. This fight had ended centuries ago, and the result had been the heaven they know now. After a few minutes of watching, Saito finally looked up at the Kai. She was obviously in pain. Most anger was caused by pain. Most pain was caused by injustice. The universe needed help with their justice. Watching Tienshinhan fight, and die for what would be an eternity. That was sacrifice. Saito would not be satisfied so long as injustice was in any facet of the world, and he was still breathing to stop it. He would die like his hero, or win where his hero had not.
"I'm sorry. No one should have to go through this."
Shallow words. He meant them, but to what end? He had nothing to do with this. He could not take the blame for the actions of what appeared to be demonic creatures, and he also could not go back in time to help stop them. At his current power he wondered if he even could. If the leader of these demons was even half as strong as Akassa Hattori, Saito would be no match for them. Despite this, he continued.
"I understand I have bothered you. I can see now why you would be weary to interact with anyone. This moment has helped me realize that there is more to be done. I was unable to bring justice to my realm...Allow me to help in yours."
This he meant. He knew not if these creatures yet lived. If there were still issues of demons, creatures, monsters. He wasn't even certain that this particular Kai would even be willing to continue their conversation. She was obviously quite bitter towards him, though not so much that she would not help further enlighten him. Floating above what was easily the most destructive scene he had ever seen, Saito had a much better understanding of the disgusting nature of the universe they lived in. If he couldn't help his own world, he would help this one.
"Tell me what I can do. Let my actions speak where my words fall short."

There was a short huff from the slanted nostrils of Eregansu at the human's request. Years after years of war, fighting for the right to strive in the realms they called their homes, he spoke as if anything he could do in his shortened life would remove any of hatred, the pain that came flooding back into her mind. So much had been lost, so many beings cut down mercilessly, ancestors long lost in blood shed of the battle field. The mattering smell of the death was enough to place her right at their side, back to back, fending off those which sought to wipe them out.
"No. Nothing you could ever do would unlock the chains of pain that clustered around my heart. You mortals place everything in the idea that one act alone fixes years of damage, it does not, nor will it ever." Eregansu backed away from Satio, her eyes dropping to the destruction below. Even as many times as she had watched the scene, the death, gore filled groans of pain she knew that nothing she could have done would have saved them all. It was then that Eregansu shouted out with yelp of shock with a binding of thick red arms the size of tree trunks wrapping around her body. Tearing through the veil of the illusion themselves the air around the appearing form blurred like heat waves across the desert floor.
"Get off me you creature!" Eregansu shrieked with flailing legs in a failed attempt to break away, in the end though she only managed to make herself look more like a rag doll than anything else.
"Aaaaaaaw….da hugs!" A chuckling low voiced reached Satio's ears as the illusion which surrounded them shattered away into a mist revealing the beautiful plains of heaven which they floated before. In a flash of light all had returned to normal, no longer did the smell of burn flesh touch their noses nor did the bands of demons tear across the ground, all was well again; aside from the rather large brute which held Eregansu tightly in his grip.
"Let. Me. GO!" Eregansu roared, with only final push her head rolled back into the towering giants face creating a quaking crack. Dumb struck the red being's grip released from Eregansu as she jumped backwards with a deep grunt of anger. Staring off into the distance the red man looked blankly into the nothingness of the skies till his nose twitch gently.
"ACHOO!" The roaring sneeze exploded from his nose sending a nearby cluster of trees crumbling into the earth. Wiping the back of his arm against his rough masculine face he began to chuckle lowly. A disgusted grunt came from Eregansu as she back away from the two men and towards a nearby mountain side, she was done with these two for today or for the rest of her existence.
"Awwwww!" The lumbering man called out to her but with an angry wave of her hand Eregansu disappeared into a thick mist. With the mist clearing in a gust of wind Eregansu was nowhere to be seen. "Aw...." Shoulders leaning forward with a hunched back the red man seemed sadden at the loss of Eregansu but taking notice of Satio his long tipped ears propped up. "Heeeeee!" Rushing forward with a leap of speed he took Satio into his arms with a crushing hug. The tackle would be enough to drive the two of them into the ground. "OOMAN!" Joyfully the red man danced about as he held onto Satio as if nothing else was of any care.

Her attitude was an immovable stone. It had spent too many years digging deeper into the dirt and sand. Saito was not going to soften her in a single conversation. Even his willingness to help was shunned by the idea that he was just as incompetent as the rest of humanity. Possibly so considering his predicament. Still, his desire to help was genuine, and if this mysterious woman was unable to help him, perhaps there was someone who could. It was at that moment that their reality broke, and standing behind the girl, wrapped around her waist was a man a few inches taller than Saito. Being 6'5 himself he would hardly call the man a giant. In his focus state Saito was possibly larger than him. Though he was clearly larger than the female Kai who resulted almost immediately to violence, popping the friendly giant in the nose.
How hypocritical. If that was how she responded to a hug, perhaps it was her with the problem and not mortals. The large red man was hugging her after all, and for that matter appeared to be lower on the intelligence spectrum. His grunts and insatiable giggling reminded Saito of other simple men he had met. It was a fact that others in the universe existed with a different reality than others. This man was undoubtedly a doer rather than a thinker, and it appeared he was also a lover. After sneezing away half the continent he turned to find that his friend had retreated to the mountains. Saito was prepared to follow her, but it occurred to him with a quick sense of the surrounding energy that this creature too was emitting a larger signature than the other beings. It was possible, in fact, that he too possessed the skills necessary to aid Saito. He probably wouldn't be getting any pertinent information, but he could at least start somewhere.
When the larger man tackled him in what appeared to be another hug, Saito was caught off guard. Even half expecting it there was simply no way to guard against the need for love that this other gentlemen had. Practically foaming at the mouth, he had to embrace it. With two larger arms around him, Saito reached out to either side of his body and did the only logical thing he could do. He hugged the man back. The man was using a moderate amount of power. Saito was unsure just how strong the man was, but based on his natural hugging strength, it was clearly quite a lot. Nothing that Saito couldn't compete with at the given moment. Until the man appeared far out of his league, he would simply match the power being emitted. His own muscles grew to nearly double their size as Saito embraced the other man in a hug. He felt foolish, but it was necessary. At least he thought it was. With his focus state activated his hair began to stand on end. His scars flared up a bit more than usual and his grip tightened as he ran his hands behind the other kai's back and locked his hands together. Saito pushed back before hitting the ground. Such an impact would be nasty and so long as the man did not exceed Saito's current power output, he would be able to keep them both airborne.
There they were, floating above the uprooted trees and soil, squeezing the life out of one another in a very tight hug. With that, Saito spoke, the effort straining his voice.
"Hello....Fellow....I am....Saito....Friends call me....Kit...Who....Might...ugh....You be?"
Even from his focus state the man was squeezing the air out of his body. Labored words left his lips in the hopes of at the very least learning someone’s name. An entire life altering experience with the female and he still hadn't the faintest idea who she was.

Rushing through the air the red man wrapped Satio into his bulky chiseled chest, feeling more like steel than flesh at this part as the man's muscles bulged under his skin as if any second they would burst open. New people always came into the realms of the heavenly plain but often his mind was far off into his own empty skull that he was often looked; sometimes new comers would think him a life like statue as often as Nemui blanked out leaving him alone as they passed by. For once though Nemui found himself greeting another who had entered their realm, needless to say he was more than excited for this opportunity.
Nemui quickly learned that his man, or more of spirit now was not like the rest; not for the fact that he talked to him but his strength! Oh his strength was supreme with Satio's arms greeting the red man with a hug of his own!
"YAY! HOOMAN HUG!" Nemui Shouted in a growing increase of pressure from his arms.
Through gasping words Satio managed to give a greeting of sorts, even going as far to ask the lumbering red man his name.
"OHHH." Finally taking notice of the raspy voice of Satio, releasing his grip as to let the man breath before he was would perish again... though, could that even happen here?
"Friend...." Nemui paused thinking what Satio had said over in his head; his very empty head.
"ME! YOU? FRIENDS! YAAAAAAY!" Nemui cheered with his fist pumping into the air with rapid burst of speed.
"OH. People call me...." Nemui paused as his finger prodded his lower lip, his eyes casting a deep picture of thought in them.
Thinking back to Satio's question about his name Nemui stopped with his excited movement.
"RIGHT! Silly me." He spoke followed by a hearty slap of his palm against his head, the force alone would have been enough to knock someone out but he seemed up phased but his own strength.
"Nemui! Some times I forget." Chuckling lowly Nemui rubbed the back of his head.
"Sa...Sat....Tio...TOE! Nice to meet ya Toe!" Nemui spoke with a wide toothed grin as he extended his red hand out towards Satio

It was a most relieving pleasure that the red creature noticed Saito's labored breaths. While the hug had not been too much to handle, it was uncomfortable. Upon his release, Saito did as well, and the two floated a short distance away from one another. Apparently his words had gotten to the man. At least this one was talking to him. Frankly he prefered the simple giant to the surly woman. Though Saito hardly viewed him as a giant, the two were now equal in stature. With his own muscles expanded, and his height raised ever so slightly, the blonde now matched his red friend. Nemui. It pleased him to see the other man so elated to have been called a friend. Saito's world over the last day or so had been dark and filled with a sickening feeling of regret. He had told Yemma he had few regrets, which had been true at the time. The longer he remained dead however that list grew, and knowing now that another form of death was possible from this realm, he had even more dissonance.
Watching Nemui fist pump however was more than enough to further solidify the giants extreme power. Obviously the man was powerful, and absent a halo Saito deduced that despite being simple, he was likely an angel of some sort, much like the girl before him. If that was the case, he too could set Saito on his journey to finding justice. Each experience was a benefit he could not afford to waste, and if his first task was befriending the man, he would do so. Saito met the Kai's grip and shook his hand, keeping his arm firm. Nemui was naturally powerful and this time Saito would be ready for the undoubtedly heavy shaking motion that was to come. He would keep his own arm steady, a smile forming over his lips. Nemui reminded him of his younger brothers. Not Ethan, but rather the much younger ones. Those memories would have to last him, and meeting Nemui was enough to bring about a bit of joy. The first he had felt since entering Heaven.
"Fine to meet you Nemmy. I am new here. Only met you and the other lady, can't say I had the pleasure of learning her name."
He could tell his words were too much. Nemui was slower than most, his speech pattern and facial expression showed that. Being slow however did not make him any less worthy of comradery or communication. He would slow it down in the future.
"You are very strong. Have you been here long? Are you perhaps an Angel of some sort? A God?"
Not knowing what phrases or words would stick, he would try to gauge the man's reaction. Manuevering the conversation with this man was not going to be easy, though nothing up until this point had been. At least he wasn't as negative as the last one he had met.
