The elf’s words did not faze Akassa, nor did the heat that she felt through her gauntlet. Her Ha-Ken was designed for close combat, designed to take blows from bladed weapons and the like. If this wench believed that an increase in heat was going to force the Princess to let go she had seriously underestimated the half-saiyan she fought. Aer Nin was dealing with the Ki whip that burned away at her arm and Akassa would deal with the heat that was causing her hand and forearm to perspire; besides she wasn’t going to be dealing with it for long.
Akassa’s plan worked perfectly, the sudden shift in the force she was applying against her opponent unexpected as she begins to rotate. With a grin on her face the Princess felt her foot slam up hard under the woman’s chin, her hands letting go as her target is launched up towards the ceiling above them. The small blast from their respective techniques detaching wasn’t expected, but it was far from enough to interrupt the females plan as she lands on her feet, already set into her stance for her next attack. This was it, in seconds this girl was going to be lying in two pieces on the floor and Akassa could finally tend to the rest of her home. Leke and Celeh were still off on their own and unknown to her Ezekiel battle another foe on the very doorsteps of the royal palace. Once this one was disposed of she could make sure everyone else was safe, or implement the actions needed to make them so.
Her scouter sensed the woman’s rising power as she charged her own attack, not having moved from the spot she had struck the ceiling. As her power rose dust and small pieces of stun rained down on the floor below, the Ki gathering with Aer Nin shaking them free. Let her charge what she may for Akassa’s Kienzan was going to cut through her along with anything else she could muster. With her attack now prepared the Princess notices another blip on her scouter, a powerful signature making its way into the area from behind her. Despite herself she actually smiles when she recognized the name displayed next to the signature…it was Ninjin. He had lived through the blast like she had thought and he was stronger for it, her brother never ceasing to amaze her.
Zenkai, the special trait that all with Saiyan blood possessed. It allowed them to be beaten to within an inch of their lives only to come back stronger than they had been before. As a warrior race zeknai was the perfect trait to accompany their military culture, many a Saiyan having benefited from the strength hidden within their genes. Even with her brothers reappearance though there was no need for him to step in, to further dirty his hands by touching this one. Such filth was far below her brother, for he was one day to be King of the Saiyan race. It was best he save his energy for the counter attack that was going to be launched after New Vegeta had been secured. Like Aer Nin and those that had come with her, the members of the Universal Church of One were all going to meet a grisly fate at the hands of the Hattori family. Her attack fully prepared Akassa yells out to Ninjin.
”You may stand down brother, I have this one cornered and she will soon be finished.” With that Akassa’s left arm snaps forward, launching the full formed silver disk up at the elf positioned above her. It wasn’t the fastest attack, but it wasn’t exactly slow either as the Princess became more and more proficient with it. Having had the time after her well aimed kick and with the female charging her own attack the technique was fully powered as it sailed towards its target. She had thrown it so that it was going to strike center mass, cutting the woman in half right at the naval. So many times in the recent past Akassa had come up short in various situations, this day she had succeeded, had protected her family and her home.

The death of the church was coming. That much could be seen by anyone with eyes that witnessed the attack on the Saiyan home world. Why was it that they had attacked the Saiyans? Some say it was because of their inherent beliefs. Other would say it was because of Aer Nin’s foolish and asinine desires. Regardless of whatever it was, it started a war that day. A war against the entirety of the faith. It wasn’t the innocents they were after. It wasn’t the children, forced upon the faith by their parents. It was the ones full of hatred, ones whose desire was the destruction of the Saiyan race, that and every other race that defied their edicts.
Aer Nin had started this war, her and every single other one of the members of the church that had come with her to New Vegeta. It had been propagated throughout Ninjin’s life, at every single turn. At every major event in his life it seemed the church would show up. His coronation. His first visit to Earth. Even his first birthday was surrounded by the Church of One. They would never leave him alone. Unless he was dead... That was their goal, other than the extinguishing of every single other half-race or Saiyan. It would not end unless he was dead, or they were. And Ninjin Hattori had decided that it would be them and not him.
His power had raised exponentially since his use of the Senzu bean. It was still not on Aer Nin’s level, but it was more than he had been at before. By a lot. With the new power that flowed through his veins Ninjin began to wonder. Was there ever a Saiyan that grew as quickly as he? That was as tough as he? Perhaps… no perhaps it was too much for him to even dream… but perhaps he was the legendary Super Saiyan. Perhaps it even went beyond that… perhaps he was the LEGENDARY super Saiyan. It did seem as if his power went beyond the normal level of Saiyans. As did his toughness. Never before had he met someone that could endure what he could without dying do to it. Haha maybe he was the mythical Legendary Super Saiyan.
Aer Nin was locked in combat with his sister. Is seemed to be neck and neck from where the prince was standing. Neither of the women seemed to be gaining the upper hand, his sister using her gauntlet and Aer Nin using her… fiery hand thing. It seemed to be going quite evenly. His sister’s ki whip, something that Ninjin knew all too well, was burning away at the unnatural woman’s skin. Akassa was stronger than the elf physically, but the woman’s belief, the thing that powered those from the church, made her even stronger all around. Ninjin took a step forward, his intent on helping his sister. His sister then kicked the elf full force under the jaw. It was a beautiful maneuver. With the elven bitch in the air his sister unleashed an attack that the prince had never seen before. A glowing disk of pure ki. Whatever it was, Ninjin was glad he was not on the opposing side of it. Again he took a step forwards.
This was soon countered by his sister telling him to not sully his hands with the woman. He had done enough hadn’t it? No. It wasn’t right. Regardless of what his sister said he was going to help. His hands came down to his sides and a sphere of ki formed there. If his sisters disk missed, his attack wouldn’t. They had been down this road three times in this battle. Just how many times did Aer Nin think she would get lucky? Just how many times could she survive?

“Damn it all!” Nasu swore.
Despite his best efforts to the contrary the Queen was dying. Covered in blood and burns it wasn’t exactly a surprise but Nasu was sure when he first saw her that he could save her without outside help. It only took him seconds to find a building right next to the palace to land on, but after looking at the Queen he knew there was nothing he could do. He needed to get her to a healing tank.
And there was the problem.
The only healing tanks he knew of were back in the palace grounds. Even then he’d need to talk to a guard which was sure to go over great. Nasu had already assaulted two guards just to get the chance to talk to Tsyuo. Now he goes back into the heart of what has got to be the beginning of a war and he has a bloody almost dead Queen in his arms. That was sure to go over well.
He was going to space prison. Nasu was too pretty for space prison…
“Ha I won’t even make it to space prison, any guard that saw me holding the almost dead Queen would attack me on site. I’d either be killed or have to knock them out and the only way I can get to a healing tank is with their help. DAMN IT ALL!” his disposition was not improving. This day had started off so well, he had seen his lifelong enemy weakened almost to death in front of him. But then circumstances had forced Nasu into sparing him. Now a member of the royal family whom he had promised his brother he would save was dying in his arms. And his only options were her death or somehow convincing a guard this all wasn’t his fault. And the damn space port had been blown up so he couldn’t even flee the planet if this all went to Hell even worse than it already was!
Little did he know the real object of his vengeance was dying in front of him right now. Had he known Natisha was the one really responsible for his mother’s death he would have let her bleed out in front of him with a smile. He would have told Akassa, Ninjin, and Leke he had done everything possible but by then she’d be just as dead. But Nasu didn’t know that he intended to save the life of the woman he should hate more than anything.
Instead Nasu realized he didn’t have any more time to think this over. He had promised Ninjin he’d save the Queen and Nasu was a man of his word. Bandaging the Queen’s wounds the best he could to stop as much bleeding as possible and preventing her immediate death Nasu threw her over his shoulder and jumped into the air.
It only took him a second to get back on to the palace grounds. Extending his senses he could feel the massive battle between the two Hattori children and the church. Sensing around him for the next largest power level he raced towards it really hoping it was a guard, really hoping they would understand, and above all really hoping the Queen didn’t die on the way.
Finally he could sense the power ahead of him. He didn’t have time to question this might be his only chance to save Natisha’s life.
“Please I need your help!” he shouted ahead. The man’s back was turned to him, he might have a chance to tell his story before the man saw what was going on and jumped to his own conclusions! “The Queen’s been attacked! She’s injured, we need to get her to a healing tank immediately!”

A single disk of energy cut through the air with a slight hum to it. The attack would not have won a spring if it tried. No this attack was not meant to be fast but rather deadly. Aer Nin had encountered this attack a few times before. She had luckily never been on the receiving end of it and rather watched as heretics were chopped in two. She had seen a few brave souls try to catch the attack only to get dismembered. No even in his depraved stupor she knew better than to sit back and eat the attack head on. Meaning she only had a couple more seconds before she would be chopped in half. But even with the disk cutting through the air towards her the plan she had set in motion was coming together. The prick of a prince had found some way to survive the blast though he did seem to be stupid enough to come back for more of a beating then before. Even as he charged a blast in his hands she was not worried. In this confined space she would not be the only one to reap damage from an attack like that.
“Pathetic monkey…heretics burn at the stake from their blasphemous ways. Let me ask you, will you go and seek out the Church after this? Will you try to destroy us? Will you try to kill our followers? Will you endure the fact that you will only burn at your attempt?” Aer Nin mocked as the power continued to build in her body. “But let me inform you on this. There are too many of us. You will never be able to finish us all off. We will outlast you. We will exterminate you. We will never stop as long as there is a single follower of the Universal Church of One. You are all abominations! I WILL NEVER DIE BY ONE OF YOUR FILTHY HERETICAL HANDS!!” Aer Nin howled as her depraved eyes went wide with insanity.
Immediately following that the energy that she had been building up in her body shot forth. It would not come forth like that of a normal ki wave as it was not ki. Rather it would be white flames that would incinerate everything that it touched. At 208,000 power level the attack would shoot downwards hit the floor and immediately expand. Both of the Saiyan royals would have only a second to react before they would be consumed in the flames. The flames would fill the halls surrounding the area they were fighting, immediately incinerating the guards who had been foolish enough to stay in the area and shoot out the hole that she had created with her body. But even these flames would not be enough to stop the disk of energy because of the heat of the flames it had all but melted away the ceiling. With a quick burst of speed Aer Nin shot straight upwards narrowly dodging the disk. In fact it had been so close to killing the Cardinal that it took off some of her bangs.
She would continue to fly upwards until the burning wreckage of the palace was but a small pin prick beneath her. With a hiss she would bring her hands to her side and begin drawing on the power that was all around her in the universe. She would purge this moon of the heretics in one big fiery explosion.
[Charge One]
***
The man stood guard over what was left of the palace. He could hear massive explosions rocking the complex from off in the distance. Despite being a well-trained soldier and seeing his fair share of combat never once did he ever expect to see the capital of the mighty Saiyan kingdom and seeing the once great city burning and being filled with screams of pain brought fear to his heart. He had been commanded to stay here by a higher ranking officer but he had not returned. More than likely he had met the same fate as many and had died fighting against whoever had started to attack the Moon.
When he heard the voice shouting from behind him it took a moment for him to realize that it was not his imagination. Rather it was a young man carrying a woman over his shoulder. Perhaps it was a civilian trying to get help, help he could not hope to provide. But as he studied what was happening he recognized the woman that was draped over his shoulder. It was Natisha Hattori, Queen of the Saiyans. Instantly his hand shot upwards with ki beginning to form in his hand. The Queen did not look to be in good shape and if he hestitated for much longer than she may die.
“Place the Queen on the ground and get on your knees. NOW!” The guard would bark with a slight hint of panic in his voice.

Akassa’s Kienzan was no master technique, no end all that a foe had no way of escaping, but the Princess was sure it was going to be the end of Aer Nin. It felt like forever as the attack sailed through the air at her target. She felt the energy gathering within her enemy, unsure what she had planned, but confident it was not going to matter after the elf had been cut in half. The crazed woman’s words only made Akassa smile. She spoke as if the fight was over already, that she had failed and the Hattori family was already on its way to take revenge against the Church for what it had done to their home. Even her opponent knew it was over, knew that the royal family was going to attack the Church with all their furry. There was one small part the elf had gotten wrong though, the Church was going to burn for what it had done. Like Aer Nin the Church underestimated the power that the Hattori family possessed, but soon enough they would get to experience it firsthand.
At the peak of Akassa’s confidence everything went wrong. Aer Nin released the energy she had been building up, but it was not in the form of Ki as fire erupted from the woman body. While the elf’s eyes widened with insanity the Princess’ widened with surprise. Having been waiting for her attack to connect she was not in position to dodge the attack completely. Her legs shove off the ground to launch her lithe frame up into the air. Not having enough time to get out of the way she throws up a barrier around her form, arms crossing in front of her face to further protect her eyes as she feels the heat rushing towards her…and then over her. Hissing in pain Akassa felt the flames roll over her body, the Ki barrier around herself blocking some of the attack, but not all of it.
The skin on her bare arms stung as it burned, her skin no doubt taking on a reddish color as the heat still affects them through her barrier. The Princess’s nostrils fill with the smell of burnt hair as the flames singe her thick black locks as well as her clothing. Moments later the heat was gone as the blast moves past her, the half-saiyan left panting and soaked in sweat, smoking slightly. In order to weather the powerful blast she had poured so much Ki into her barrier to prevent herself from burning under the wave of fire. Chest heaving Akassa rises up into the air more, blinking sweat away from her eyes. Her body tingled in various places, her skin no doubt burned in different areas, but she knew she needed to push through it. As her scouter beeps she glances up, Aer Nin again charging some sort of attack as her power signature begins to rise once more.
Glaring up at the woman Akassa was furious, her anger boiling over as this bitch simply refused to die. Gritting her teeth the Princess was tired, her body aching from pushing through that last attack, but she did not plan on letting up, couldn’t let up. To her the best defense was always a strong offense and that is what she had based her entire fighting style around. Unfortunately the Senzu bean she had been saving for such an occasion was in her coat pocket, the garment she had left back in her private quarters. It mattered not; a Hattori did not give into exhaustion. Still panting Akassa eyes the elf above her for a second longer before bursting back into action.
With no regard for what Ninjin might be attempting, unsure how he had faired against that last attack Akassa rockets upwards. Ki gauntlet still surrounding her right hand the Princess heads straight for the elf. She was well aware that the wench was charging yet another attack, but that threat didn’t slow the soldier for a second. Her error moments before was thinking her slow, powerful attack was going to finish to female off, giving the woman time to charge her attack. Akassa was not going to make the same mistake again. Bearing down on the woman the half-saiyan narrows her eyes, jaw set as she approaches, gauntlet extended in front of her as she does. Let her charge the attack, Akassa was going to run the woman through with her bladed fingers.

“Shit.” It was the only possible reaction that Ninjin could have to the torrent of fire that was released from the hands of the bitch Aer Nin. She was squabbling loudly about something, but Ninjin wasn’t paying all that much attention to her. It was more of the “blah blah blah Heretics… blah blah blah burn…” type of thing she had been spouting for the duration of their battle. No the much more attention grabbing thing was the fire. It would kill him for sure if he did nothing about it, but that obviously wasn’t going to happen. So what to do? It would hit Akassa before it hit him. With a sharp intake of breath he watched his sister cover herself with her shield. Would that be enough?
Maybe the disk of ki that Akassa had sent out towards her would kill the woman and they could be done with her right there. She seemed to be on the verge of being sliced in half by the thing, and a bit of hope made its way into Ninjin’s heart… But of course it didn’t kill her, missing the woman by inches, leaving Ninjin still left wondering what the hell to do about the fire raging down towards him. So he did the only thing he could think of doing.
With a grunt the prince took threw himself backwards and to the side, his charge attack thrown forwards, though away from Akassa’s direction, as a boost to his tumbling speed. Then he shielded himself against the unbroken part of the wall that he had just barely stepped through. The torrent of fire wasn’t a blast, wasn’t made to destroy solid walls, but was made to burn, incinerate, and completely destroy the flesh or organic material it touched. As it was the intense heat was uncomfortable to the prince as it surged around the wall right past him, but it did not touch him, did not sear him the way the elf no doubt wanted. Ninjin looked over as it torrented past, the brightness of it intense. The presence of Aon was within it, of that there could be no question.
In the back of his mind the prince thought he could hear the screaming of Aon as he evaded his grasp yet again. For all the surviving Aer Nin had done in this battle, Ninjin had done so much more over the course of his life. The question remained however. How were they going to kill this woman if she seemed capable of dodging every single thing they threw at her?
Once the flames stopped Ninjin peered around the corner. The hall that he had just been standing mere moments ago was charred and burnt. Everything that had been within the hall, save Akassa, was burnt to a crisp. The guards that had been in the room were charred, each of them only a blackened skeleton remaining. Some of the were reaching up towards the woman as if they had been throwing ki blasts, or perhaps reaching out to beg for their lives. If it was the former Ninjin was proud of their actions, and their deaths. If it had been the latter… then they had died in disgrace.
Small areas of the room were still on fire, though there had been little to fuel a roaring blaze. Ninjin followed the source of Aer Nin’s power-level and as he came out of the hole saw that the woman was charging another blast. Akassa was charging full kilter towards the woman. It seemed as if this battle would continue out here in the sky.
“I’m going to be smarter about this.” Ninjin flew away from the oncoming combat that was going to occur between Akassa and Aer. If the woman turned and fired the blast towards him it would take a while for it to reach him, enough time for the prince to react and for Akassa to kill the woman when she took her eyes off of her. Then he began charging a blast of his own. It built in his hands. This bitch would die. Then the Church.

The guard was clearly in shock. Normally the threat of being attacked would elicit an immediate, violent response from Nasu. However he felt he could make an exception today. Mostly because about a quarter of the royal palace was in ruins, and about half of the royal family was close to joining them.
If that doesn’t put someone in shock Nasu didn’t know what would. Still Nasu didn’t have time to play around.
“Place the Queen on the ground and get on your knees. NOW!” The guard would bark with a slight hint of panic in his voice, and a ki blast forming at his hand.
This is unacceptable. Extending his senses towards the guard he reads his power level and it was nothing Nasu couldn’t handle easily. Ninjin had been right Nasu was a lot stronger than the average guard. With that in mind Nasu listened to about half of the order. He put the Queen down as gently as he could. She looked pale and fragile, he was running out of time.
Looking up at the guard who appeared on the verge of panic he wasn’t going to be able save her. Not if anything went wrong.
Off in the distance Nasu felt the largest power level yet. It dwarfed his own by so much it was laughable, a giant explosion followed the power level rise. He could feel the ground shaking under him from the blast. Ya everything was going wrong, no way was he going to let the guard take the Queen’s life in his hands. That being said he needed him conscious to help.
As the ground continued to shake Nasu charged. He would grab the guards outstretched arm that held the ki blast and pin it behind the man’s back so if he fired he’d only hit himself.
If he got the man pinned he would explain. “We only have one chance to save the Queen’s life, we’re getting her to a healing chamber that is still standing and you’re going to lead us there.”

A little closer. Keep coming you pathetic little shit. The words hummed in Aer Nin’s mind as a large smile grew across her face. The energy in her hands continued to build as the foolishly proud princess charged upwards through the sky at her. Her brother was not quite as stupid as the Cardinal’s eyes watched him fly off a short distance in order to charge up an attack. That was all he seemed to be good for. Fly off while his sister was beaten relentlessly in order to charge an attack. He had only been successful in getting off one attack in the entire fight and that one had almost killed the prick of a prince. He was a coward and would no doubt prefer to watch as his sister died in front of his eyes. Aer Nin had been in the Saiyan court long enough to know that this little façade the two were putting on for the general public that the two royals were totally in sync. This fight demonstrated that despite what they may show off to people the two were still bitter to each other. Ninjin still thought he was better than Akassa and would much rather throw away her life. If this was how he wanted it then that was what he would get.
Aer Nin would wait until the fool was close enough that the Cardinal could see the whites of her eyes. It was in that moment that she extended her hands in front of her chest. The energy that had been growing was released in loud roar. The energy would rip through the air in a flash before impacting its intended target. Akassa wanted to rush the Cardinal so bad she would pay for it with her life. The blast would slam into her chest and send her spiking back into ground from which she launched off of. The impact would cause the rest of the palace in that surrounding area to come crumbling to the ground. The ultimate symbol of the heretical Saiyans was coming down part by part, it was a satisfying feeling.
“Purge!” The word would echo above the blast as Akassa was slammed into the ground. Shortly after the dust began to clear the Cardinal would turn and start charging downwards at the vulnerable princess. At about half way down to the ground she would Zanzoken and disappear from the sight of anyone watching. The next sight they would see in another large dust cloud rising from the impact site as Aer Nin landed with a stomp to the chest. The velocity of the impact would no doubt hurt the injured princess even more. Once she was on top of her Aer Nin would rain down several hard shots at Akassa’s face. Each more vicious than the last, she was going to break Akassa’s will with the savage beating. If Ninjin wanted to sacrifice his sister and fire that blast then so be it. Aer Nin would make sure the princess died at the prick’s hand.
If the Princess had somehow evaded the beam attack then Aer Nin would try to roll to her left and before launching several blasts ki blasts to the torso of the princess. That would be followed up with Aer Nin Zanzokening into her to take her even higher into the air away from any potential that the coward of a prince may have up his sleeve. He was not going to blast her with her back turned, she was determined on it.
***
The guard watched with the blast continuing to remain in his hand as the man laid the Queen on the ground. She was in bad shape and unless they managed to stop the bleeding the wife of the great King Tsuyo was going to die. What made things worse was that many in the army viewed Natisha as their greatest advocate amongst the other nobles of the Saiyan kingdom. They often times would question what the King needed extra money for the army for or what he was going to do with the bolstered force. Natisha would often speak for the King in these affairs and pacify the nobles. They viewed her as the voice of the army when the King could not speak. They loved her. And if any in the armed services found out that he was responsible for letting their beloved Queen die then his life would soon end after that.
The only problem was that many of the healing chambers were either being used by the numerous soldiers that were being wounded by the seemingly endless army of androids that roamed the streets or they were destroyed by the force of the attack. There would no doubt be some empty healing chambers in one of the forward barracks on the other side of the city. But as the guard looked down on the Queen he doubted that she would last long enough to make it across the city. Meaning there was only one last place that may have room that would be able to heal her.
The palatial complex.
But with the blasts rocking the ground on which he stood fear crept back into his soul. His hand trembled as his eyes went from the Queen to the man that had carried her to the guard. What was going to happen? Would they be able to sneak back into the complex to find an empty chamber in time? Would the battle somehow drag in the three of them?
“The…the only healing chambers we might be able to get to in time would be in the palace. But there is no telling if they are indeed intact. If we are going to get to them in time we are going to have to leave now,” The guard said with trepidation in his voice. If the young man agreed then the guard would turn and lead them back into the war torn palace. If he didn’t the guard was not sure what he was going to do.

Fifty yards. Akassa was only fifty yards from Aer Nin when she took off towards her. Gritting her teeth the Princess flew through the air, gauntlet covered hand stretch out on front of her to lead the way. She saw the energy charging in the woman’s hands, but did not slow. Twenty yards. This elf seemed so confident that her blast contained more power than the half-saiyan could handle, she was wrong. On two occasions Aer Nin had survived a blast that should have killed her, if this wench was capable of weathering such attacks than so was the eldest child of the King. Ten yards. Akassa was able to smell the woman now, smell the sweat and dirt that had gathered on the female throughout the fight. Soon the coppery scent of blood was going to be added to that list as Akassa drove her silver gauntlet through her target’s stomach. Princess Hattori was so close, but she would never make it to her intended target.
Before she was able to reach the woman the energy her foe was gathering is released in the form of an energy wave. Ever headstrong and with her pride pushing her on Akassa drives full force into the blast. The silver Ki that encased her arm held up against the blast initially, but only for an instant. Perhaps if she had been at her best, at her full strength she might have been able to push through it, but Akassa was feeling the effects of the drawn out fight. Less than a second after the beam hit her hand the gauntlet shatters, the once hardened Ki dissipating into nothing as the blast rips through it. Of course the energy wave did not stop there. Slamming into her the power behind the attack quickly reverses her direction, knocking her from the air and crushing her into the tiled floor below. Dust erupts as Akassa is driven into the floor, creating a crater approximately 15 feet in diameter centered on her point of impact. Groaning some the Princess coughs somewhere within the shattered floor.
Still trying to catch her breath Akassa lets out another groan of pain as a foot slams down onto her chest, pushing what air she had managed to gather out. Breathless the Saiyaness feels something crack, perhaps a rib, perhaps something even more vital. The assault on her prone form did not stop there as fist after fist slammed down into her face. For one such blow Akassa attempts to lift her arm to block, but it is easily swatted aside, the soldier weak without any oxygen to fuel her muscles. The series of blows fills the Princess’ mouth with more blood, enough to make her choke slightly before she spits it aside. Dazed and slightly unaware of her surroundings she struggles to see exactly where Aer Nin was through the dust. The woman had to be straddling her considering the angle the blows had come from, but between the dust and her blurred vision Akassa could not find her. With a pained groan she attempts to sit up, her scouter slipping off and dropping to the floor as she struggles to lift her head.
In the back of her mind, through the haze she knew Ninjin had to be somewhere near, planning his next attack. Focused on her charge before and with her scouter no longer on she was unaware that he was charging another attack to try and finish the elf off. She had sensed him before the wave of fire so he had to be some place close, close enough to lend her aide or at the very least blast this woman into oblivion. Akassa was a proud warrior, but she was not so blinded to see she was in trouble, losing this fight. Battered and bloodied she hoped Ninjin had a plan, even if that plan included taking her out along with Aer Nin. Only able to lift her head several inches off the ground before nausea washes over her, Akassa drops back to the floor with a groan, not able to get up. For the first time Akassa was glad her father had been poisoned. Due to his weakened state Ninjin had removed him from the battlefield which meant he could not see her now…lying in the dirt.

There was no mistaking the fact that his sister was about to get blasted in the face with a very powerful beam of energy. And there was no mistaking the fact that when it hit, it would hurt. Even from his distant vantage point Ninjin could see that. His tactic had been so effective in their fight that Aer Nin had decided to copy it, though where as he had almost killed her and him she had yet to even really harm anyone save the king, and that was by poison not by force. Also the queen, though it could be said that that was Natisha’s own fault rather than Aer Nin’s combative skill, because if she had just followed Ninjin like in instructed she never would have been harmed. No despite all the power that Aer Nin had it seemed could not harm someone she was actually fighting against, at least up until this point.
Perhaps she did not believe she could actually beat the Saiyan duo. In all of his time fighting against the Church of One Ninjin had learned much about their edicts and teachings. They did not utilize ki in the way that most fighters in the universe did, instead their powers came from their beliefs. It was obvious to anyone with a scouter or whom could sense ki that Aer Nin was stronger than both of the Hattoris, but still up until this point she hadn’t done any lasting damage to either of them. She hadn’t even really laid a hand on Ninjin, the damage that had been done to him, which was a near lethal dose, he had done to himself. Perhaps she didn’t truly believe that she could win. It was the only logical explanation. She didn’t believe she had within her the strength. Ninjin knew she didn’t.
Ninjin winced as the blast slammed full force into his sister and threw her from her flight straight to the ground and out of sight. It had got to have hurt, though the prince knew he wasn’t the only tough person in the Hattori family. All of them could take mass amounts of damage without succumbing to it. It was in their nature. She and the blast hit the ground and seemed to shake the entire world. Pieces of the castle fell once more, angering him even further. The prince wondered if the others on the planet could feel it, not only the tremors that the fight was putting out, but the desecration of the palace. No doubt Akassa was feeling that. Like with his mother Ninjin’s body screamed for him to do something, to help his sister in some way. She was brave and she was tough, but the prince knew that she was not stupid enough to not know when she needed help. It was definitely now. If he did nothing it was likely that his sister was going to die. And yet he held back and poured more of his ki into the blast in his hands.
It wasn’t hatred for his sister that held him back. That had all but vanished during his life changing experiences on Omega and every one since then. This Ninjin Hattori was a much different one then the one that had booted her in the head back in the galactic tournament. But this Ninjin Hattori still knew his duty. First and foremost it was to protect the Saiyan race, and if that meant that Akassa would be taken out along with Aer Nin… well she too knew her duty. The prince had nearly sacrificed himself to take out the cardinal, if he was willing to risk his own life…
The elven woman didn’t seem to content to leave his sister there and come after him though, instead she shot downwards and slammed into Akassa sending another plum of smoke and dust into the air. Perhaps it was his imagination, but Ninjin thought he heard a sickening crack on impact. He knew his sister wouldn’t last long against the woman in the condition she was in. His anger fueled his ki even faster into the wave that he was going to fire at the cardinal.
“I’m sorry Akassa. What I do I do for our people.” He said to himself. There was no way that she was going to be able to hear it, but Ninjin had a duty to uphold. Aer Nin would die. That was inevitable.

“The…the only healing chambers we might be able to get to in time would be in the palace. But there is no telling if they are indeed intact. If we are going to get to them in time we are going to have to leave now,” The guard said with fear seeping into his voice. And who could blame him. Nasu could feel the fight raging all around him more intensely as he had his senses extended feeling for any power levels. Still even if you couldn’t sense energy to the same extent the palace shook with the force of the fights going on everywhere.
It was clear they should not be staying in the palace, this is where everyone was fighting and dying. However he wasn’t exactly spoiled for options right now either.
“Works for me.” he said looking at the shaken guard. “As a sign of trust I’ll even let you carry the Queen.” Hopefully the man didn’t realize Nasu wanted him to carry her because if anyone else saw them they’d probably Nasu if they recognized Natisha and saw the condition she was in.
Another blast rocked the palace, but this time it was accompanied by his sisters energy taking a dive. What was going on up there? Nasu had been sure the two Hattori children were near invincible, how strong was the church that it could attack them and seemingly have a chance to win?
“Ok we need to hurry, you’re going to lead us carrying the Queen. If we run into any trouble you and Natisha get behind me and hide. One way or another we need to get her to a healing chamber, but we’re heading into a war zone so stay alert.” With that Nasu would hand the guard Natisha and push him forward keeping his eyes and senses open for other power levels or threats.

The blast leapt from her hands just as she had planned. The foolish princess had charged straight forward at the elf. It was not until she was less than ten yards away from the elf when the beam attack made contact with the princess. She tried in a futile effort to block the attack with her little pathetic gauntlet only to have it dissipate before it launched her back down towards the palace ruins. She hit causing an eruption dust. The attack sequence was capped off with a sweet crunch of the princess’ chest cavity under Aer Nin’s foot. Then the punishment began. Punch after punch. Blow after blow. The once proud princess was all but helpless on the ground. She tried in a pathetic attempt to protect herself but punch after punch landed on the princess’ face.
The coppery smell of blood filled the air as the princess was beat over and over again. She was helpless. She was going to die here and now. But Aer Nin was going to have fun with the proud princess. As the blood was spilt and the Saiyan bitch tried to gasp for air a crazed smile crossed Aer Nin’s face. The time was coming to an end. She could feel Ninjin continuing to be a coward and hiding behind his blast. He was going to throw away Akassa’s like a dirty rag that was no longer good for anything. True love for his comrades, typical Saiyan doesn’t understand anything more in depth then senseless violence. Fine if he wanted to kill her then Aer Nin would be more than happy to give him a target to aim for.
Aer Nin’s hand would reach done and viciously grab the half breed mutt’s hair. With a quick tug upwards she would lift the princess off the ground leaving her dangling like a piece of meat to be evaluated for the slaughter with her left hand. She would throw two solid blows landing into her stomach be designed to knock the wind out of her. The second blow more powerful than the first would knock the princess out of the Cardinal’s grasp. The Saiyan princess would clatter to the ground before Aer Nin walked over to her. After all of the fighting she wanted to enjoy every moment that was transpiring between the two right now. As such the bitch would suffer. Just on top of the knee. That would be where Aer Nin would place her foot before grabbing Akassa’s foot and ripping upward. This motion would hopefully break the leg and shatter the joint completely. After that she would let the limp leg drop to the ground and it was in that moment she would have an epiphany, something brilliantly torturous.
Aer Nin lifted Akassa by her hair once again, with her left hand leaving the Saiyan princess like a dangling piece of meat. It was at this point Aer Nin was begin to channel energy into her hand and with a depraved look. Her hand would heat up to the point it would be able to melt through metal. “I want to leave you with something that you will always remember me by for the rest of your short miserable life.” She would spit. With that her hand would reach out and grab Akassa’s left shoulder. Her hand would burn all the way through her shoulder and sever the arm. Once it dropped away Aer Nin would toss a small ki blast at it in order to make sure that it was completely destroyed. She would then turn toward the cowardly prince who still waited off in the distance charging his little blast.
“Is that really all you are going to do? Standoff in the distance while you let those that are close to you die? What a great brother, a great friend and a great comrade! Pathetic! This is what you are going to look like when you finally decide to engage me you pathetic prick of a prince!” Aer Nin would call out while holding Akassa’s one armed body in front of her like a meat shield.

The guard quickly grabbed the Queen and flew off towards where the closest healing chambers might be. He could tell just by holding the queen that she was not in good shape and without some form of healing. This man that brought her to him could have done this for all he knew but he could not question him until she was at least safe. The guard, holding Natisha, and presumably the young man zipped through buildings and ruins in an effort to stay out of the major battles that were rocking the very Moon to its core.
Eventually the small group would come upon their desired location. It was a small barracks located deep in the palatial complex. It was designed to be able to send troops out throughout the complex very quickly. However the guard is shocked when he makes his way inside of it. The invaders had managed to even make it this far into the complex leaving only a room full of dead bodies and craters. The guard’s eyes dart from side to side of the room looking for some kind of life but there is nothing. The guards are long dead and all of the healing pods seemed to have been either damaged or destroyed in the ensuing conflict. It was not until he notices a faint red glow from across the room that his hopes are rekindled. The guard places the Queen gently on the ground before running over to it. After moving a draped dead body off of the light his eyes light up with happiness.
“The healing chamber it works! It is going to take a little bit to get it to properly function to the point that we may place the Queen in it but I can fix it! Take care of her while I fix it.” The guard called back to the young man. He needed just a moment to properly fix the healing pod. Once he had the Queen would be saved.

On her back Akassa tried to focus, tried to will her body to move. A rib or two had been fractured in her chest when Aer Nin landed on her the following up with the blows to the face leaving her head swimming. With quick short breaths the Princess attempted to gather herself in order to offer some sort of resistance to the beating she was receiving. In the past, on multiple occasions she had managed to push through pain and exhaustion to continue a fight despite the damage she had taken. Ninjin could attest to that for had seen her get up several times during their tournament match when most fighters would have collapsed. Akassa prided herself on the physical condition of her body, the shape she always kept herself in. A superb soldier she was a warrior through and through and her strict training regimen allowed her to fight in the aggressive style she preferred. She was tough, but with Aer Nin all but fresh from whatever she had used to heal herself Akassa’s resilience was being broken down.
Starting to try and get up once more the Princess feels a hand grab onto her thick locks, fingers getting a solid hand hold before she was lifted right off the ground. Akassa herself wasn’t that heavy compared to your average Saiyan and at this level her weight was something most could easily lift. Hefted right off the ground by just her hair Akassa winces as her hands slowly lift to grab at the elf’s arm. They never make it though as a fist drives hard into her stomach, knuckles digging in up under her ribcage. Letting out an audible gasp, the air forced from her lungs her arms drop leaving her completely defenses for the second blow to her abdomen. Further deprived of air Akassa realizes the hand holding her hair had released, the force of the second blow enough to send her sailing backwards into the dirt once more. Slamming down onto her back she wheezes as she tries desperately to pull air into her lungs.
Feeling pressure just above her knee Akassa groans, reaching for the foot as it starts to press down to pin her leg to the ground. An instant later hands grab a hold of her foot before they yanked it up viciously, the unnatural bending of her knee obliterating the joint. Letting out a yelp, Akassa was not able to hold it in against the pain like she had done for so many injuries in the past. Eyes watering the Princess knew the leg was useless even before it flopped back to the floor. Obviously in pain she attempts to curl up some, grabbing for her wounded leg. Through the pain her mind frantically tries to think of a way to get herself away from this woman…where was Ninjin? Why was he taking so long to come to her aide?
Again Aer Nin reaches down to take a handful of the Princess’ hair, yanking her back up into the air once more. The sudden shift in position draws a hiss from Akassa as it jostles her broken leg. Dangling by her hair the half-saiyan groans, her teeth stained with blood as more ran from her nose, a result of the beating she had taken before. Hearing the woman’s words Akassa glares at her the best she can through the mess of bangs that fell down across her eyes. ”You a….” The rest of her statement, whatever it may have been, was replaced with a scream as the elf’s white hot hand clamps down on her shoulder. Akassa had a high tolerance for pain, but she had never felt anything like this. The intense heat of the woman’s hand quickly burned through her arm. It ate through flesh, muscle, nerves and bone with ease. The pain faded for an instant as her foremost nerves were burnt away, but was quickly renewed as the hand continues on its destructive path through shoulder. Screaming still Akassa jerks around in the air, still held aloft. The only positive about the situation for the Princess was that the technique cauterized the wound as it burnt through her arm.
As her arm is completely severed Akassa slumps a little, her scream fading into pained groans as Aer Nin turns to face Ninjin. Walking with the Princess as her shield against his attack the elf no doubt thought that she had the woman completely helpless, she was almost right. Eyes struggling to stay open, her body having been pushed to its limits in terms of endurance and what it could handle Akassa attempts one last offensive maneuver. Her right hand, the only one she had now, slowly lifts as Ki flows down her arm. The movement was subtle as Akassa only attempts to lift it enough to get her fingers to face the elf, her hand shaking. Exhausted and with her strength fading she could not have lifted it farther if she wanted. The Ki being channeled down her arm begins to swirl into her Ha-Ken, the gauntlet encasing her hand. As soon as it was formed she uses her Sono Supaku technique, launching the four bladed fingers of her gauntlet at Aer Nin’s body. Akassa’s hope was that the woman remained focused on Ninjin, thinking she had the Princess beaten. She had also not used the technique throughout their fight so her opponent had not seen it yet, hopefully it was enough.

Ninjin winced with pain as though the blows were hitting him every time one of Aer Nin’s blows slammed into his sister’s stomach. Gradually he had left himself sink through the air until his feet touched lightly upon the ground. This didn’t cease the ball of ki within his hands that glowed and pulsed with power. It was now even more powerful than the one that had nearly killed both he and Aer Nin before. It pained him to see Akassa beaten in such a way, but there was not much he could do to help.
Ninjin nearly let the whole thing go and rush towards the two fighters when Aer Nin brutally snapped his sister’s leg. The pain that his sister cried out him felt like a punch in the gut of the crown-prince. That pain was a pain the prince knew all too well. He didn’t know how many times his sister had died or nearly died, but for him it must have been at least half a dozen. The fear that crept in each time… he knew his sister must be feeling it right now. The pain of a broken limb… he knew it was nothing for Akassa as the pain of being beaten so badly would be. A Saiyan’s pride in their most vulnerable area.
Aer Nin picked up Akassa once more and her hand began to glow. What lay in store for his sister Ninjin only had but moments to dread about. The hand burned through his sister’s shoulder in mere seconds. The smell of burnt flesh reached Ninjin even where he was standing, and his sister’s jerking motions made him all the more angry. He could do nothing to prevent it, but he could damn well avenge it.
Lifelessly his sister’s severed arm flopped to the ground and almost nonchalantly the elf threw a ki blast at it, completely destroying the limb. The whole thing sickened the crown-prince and with violent anger he forced more and more of his ki into the blast. Aer Nin turned to face him, a haughty look of pride on her face. She held Akassa aloft in front of her, as though to protect her from the wave he was going to throw at her. All this time Ninjin had slowly been walking towards her, his arms still by his side charging his ki wave.
“Is that really all you are going to do? Standoff in the distance while you let those that are close to you die? What a great brother, a great friend and a great comrade! Pathetic! This is what you are going to look like when you finally decide to engage me you pathetic prick of a prince!”
“It appears your memory is as limited as your ability to get the job done. I very nearly killed you before, and yet it’s taken you all this time to even wound Akassa. I’m not the pathetic one. And I never claimed to be a great brother, friend, or comrade. I am, however, a great warrior and leader. Akassa knows her duty, regardless of whether you use her as a shield or not, you’re going to die Aer Nin .” With that Akassa would spring into action, sending blades into Aer’s chest and abdomen. The subtly of the action mixed with Ninjin’s distraction all but ensured they would hit.
If his sister’s move had its intended effect and Akassa was thrown away due to the elf losing her grip due to pain, Ninjin would release his charge two energy wave straight towards her. He was much closer now that he had landed and had begun to move towards them. The prince had built up enough energy to follow her with the wave if she tried to dodge out of the way. That and the distraction Akassa caused would ensure that his blast would hit her dead on at two hundred and thirty six thousand power-level. It would vaporize the elven women’s upper half and leave nothing but two legs standing and smoking awkwardly where the bitch once stood.
After killing Aer Nin the prince would rush over to Akassa and call the guards over. Realizing that guards weren’t coming quickly enough, the prince would hoist his sister into his arms and carry her towards the nearest healing tank.
Should his sister’s distraction miss, or the women didn’t release her, Ninjin would hold back, still hesitant to outright kill his sister, but still pouring ki into his attack [Charge 3]
If his sister’s attack hit and she was moved out of the way, but Aer Nin somehow managed to dodge the ki wave, Ninjin’s arms would go right back down to his sides and build up another ki wave there. One way or another he would kill her. [Charge 1]

Nasu can feel panic begin to rise as he looks around at the destruction in the barracks. Everyone was already dead, that can’t be a good sign. He can see his panic mirrored on the guards face as well. Damn they were too late!
Nasu looks over at the man holding Natisha and can’t help but notice how much paler she’s gotten since he first found her. Was it blood loss, was she even still alive? There was no where else they could go, no where else he could take her. He had gambled everything that this would work, and he’d failed.
Continuing to look around he notices all the healing tanks are damaged or wrecked and what little hope he had left begins to leave. Suddenly the guards head shoots up. Following his line of sight Nasu can see a red glow off the distance. The guard puts down the Queen and races off after it.
Spirit lifting Nasu picks Natisha back up and follows after him. It wouldn’t be a good idea to leave her just lying on the ground now with the palace falling apart around them. As soon as that thought enters his mind he hears another explosion off in the distance. His senses tell him Ninjin is stronger than ever but why was his sister getting so much weaker?!
The guard turns to him face grinning almost manically. “The healing chamber it works! It is going to take a little bit to get it to properly function to the point that we may place the Queen in it but I can fix it! Take care of her while I fix it.” he shouts.
“Do it fast, I don’t think she has much time.” Nasu says seriously. “That being said nothing is going to get by here while I’m standing.”
With that he kneels down by the queen to redo her bandages and make sure she’s still breathing.
If nothing interferes he will drop her in the healing chamber as soon as it’s fixed with a sigh of relief.
