Victory was within her grasp. Akassa’s arm had burned from her shoulder and her leg near snapped in half. The punishment that the Cardinal was dealing to the tired and battered Princess. Helpless was the perfect word for what the woman was and her death was soon at hand. The sound of her knee essentially shattering beyond repair was music while the smell of her burning flesh was like freshly cut roses to the sadistic female. Nothing more than watching Akassa suffer before her death would bring her happiness for the rest of her long life. Aer Nin was ready for this battle to be over. And to make things even better was the fact that Ninjin cared so little for the life of his sister that he had decided to fire that little blast of his. Akassa would serve a wonderful meat shield and take the brunt of the hit for the Cardinal. “Your brother cares so much for you. Shame really. You are the one that shows more potential than he ever did. Or at least that is what I saw when I was watching you two up close. You were always the true threat to the Church not your fool brother,” Aer Nin stated at a volume that only Akassa would be able to hear. Whether or not she was able to comprehend it through the pain was a completely different question. She could feel the energy crawling ever closer but it was Aer Nin’s pride that had blinded her to the actions that had been in front of her. Akassa had managed to use the last of her energy to form that incessant gauntlet around her hand again. But instead of jerking her arm upwards the claws seemed to launch from her gauntlet. Not expecting this Aer Nin was caught by surprise as the claws sank into her ribs. “You bitch!” Aer Nin growled as she Spartan kicked Akassa dead center in the chest. Her foot would slam into her chest before launching her off to the side. The problem was that out of anger she had not realized that she had actually kicked Akassa out of the way of the blast that was coming at her. A severe miscalculation. At this point the only thing that Aer Nin could do was bring her arms in front of her chest to block herself. The blast soon slammed into right afterwards immediately sending her flying backwards. Her feet ground through the ruins as she attempted to slow herself down. She could feel the flesh burning from her arms and her muscles in her legs straining as she was pushed. Even the Cardinal was impressed by the speed at which she was traveling given that she was seriously struggling to hold on. Then came the first wall. And the second and the third. She plunged through each wall over and over again. At this rate she was going to get pushed right out of the palace. As she entered another open space after smashing through another wall she poured a large amount of energy into one movement. With a sudden burst she managed to pivot off of the blast. Immediately her body was sent flying at a much faster speed at roughly a forty-five degree angle. Her body rocketed through walls, each one taking a bit more out of the Cardinal. Where she was going to land she had no idea. *** A glimmer of hope escaped the guard’s face as the healing pod turned on with a flurry of lights and sounds. He was going to be able to save the Queen and become a hero for it. He looked back to the young man who had chosen to approach the guard with the Queen in hand. Why he had done so he did not know. The guard had placed her back there in case for whatever reason the pod blew up that she was not injured in the resulting fire ball. “Hurry, bring her here. We need to get her in…” The guard started. Unfortunately for him he would never get to finish that statement as there was an explosion from the side wall. He managed to turn and look but never fully comprehend what was going on. Whatever it was had slammed into him full force and pushed him into the healing pod. Instantly the thing would explode but the small explosion was not what did him in. The mass that had hit him with all that force and managed to crush his bones and break his neck, he never felt a thing. The thing that had hit him was not a rock, but rather a beautiful woman in ornate clothing. *** As Aer Nin’s body finally came to rest it was in that moment the pain set in. Her left arm was once again shattered, she could not move her leg and her energy was dangerously close to nothing. Blood ran from her hairline giving her a crimson mask to wear. It hurt to open her eyes as any light seemed to be much more painful then she could remember. That damn monkey had caught her by surprise. Her pride, the one thing her mentor warned her about, was proving to get in the way. But it was her pride that continued to will her to fight even now as she lay almost dead. She would not be killed by a worthless monkey. With a trembling hand she reached into her robes and produced a small vial of glowing blue liquid. It was Aon’s Grace, the very substance that had healed her before. She was not stupid enough to believe that this fight ma take a toll on her bod and as such brought what she felt would be more than enough to keep her in the fight. Her thumb clicked a button on the side of the vial which produced a small needle for injection. Slowly her trembling hand injected the needle into her bloody thigh. Immediately she could feel the medicine begin to work. Her power level began to rise, her muscles painfully began to sow themselves back together but it suddenly stopped. The trembling in her hand that was only increased by the pain of the healing process managed to launch the needle from her thigh across the room with the remaining Aon’s Grace inside of it. A moment of panic struck through her mind as she could feel her energy had returned to roughly what it was before he blast her body was far from healed. She could not move, her left arm remained shattered and it seemed to be that her ability to fly was also blocked. The most she was going to be able do was fire off a few blasts from her right arm otherwise she was useless in battle. Her eyes did not seem to heal either as her vision remained somewhat blurry. The Cardinal’s eyes were locked on the vial that had rolled out of her grasp. It appeared to have rolled in front of a young man that was accompanied by a female that appeared to be wounded. She could not make out the finer details of his face and her head was pounding too much to try and figure out who they were from their power levels. With a sigh she rolled her head back and stared out of the hole that she had entered through. The prick of the prince would be coming soon enough if he was brave enough to approach the Cardinal, even though she was in her current condition. He would probably sit back and begin to charge yet another blast from a distance and would kill these two Saiyans in the dark room with her. He did not care about life, he never did, she had watched him. He was spoiled through and through by his mother and father. Never had he been forced to face real life until only a few months ago. It was these facts that made the Cardinal draw the conclusion that he had no appreciation for how tough life actually was. I was in that brief moment of hatred and memories that she conceived a plan that would make the palace the bright light that it deserved. “Let him come…he is too cowardly to do so anyways…” Aer Nin mumbled as a smile grew across her face. Immediately what energy she had left in her body began to rise. She was one of the blessed of Aon, one of the enlightened, and it was in that light she would remain. [Charge One]

Listening to the woman’s word Akassa seems to barely hear them, but it was partially a ruse. It was quite obvious by the expression on her face that the Princess was in pain and with just cause. Her leg was mangled, her arm missing not to mention the beating the rest of her body had taken throughout the long fight. Out of the three of them Akassa was the only one that had not had the chance to heal herself. Having left her Senzu bean behind in her haste she did not have the option. Up until this point her toughness and grit had carried her through the fight, taking the blows dished out by her stronger opponent in stride, pushing through her pain like a true Saiyan warrior was supposed to do.
Still held aloft by her thick hair the Princess did not see what Ninjin was planning, but she still had faith in him. Like Aer Nin and her Aon, Akassa did not need to see her brother to believe in him. Ninjin Hattori was the Prince of all Saiyan’s, a warrior through and through just like she was, and he would not fail. Unaware what he was doing she knew he had not abandoned her, the fact that Aer Nin had taunted him revealed that he was charging yet another attack, planning on obliterating the woman like he had nearly done before. Considering the wench had not let her go and the way she so confident address Ninjin Akassa was able to figure out the reason he had not attacked, she was in the way. Foolish brother, he should have launched the attack when Aer Nin was removing her arm. If Akassa’s death was necessary to bring about her foes, than she would have died with a grin.
It was obvious he was stalling, or at the very least charging even more energy to make sure the elf did not survive. With time still left the Princess does not give up, her shaking hand lifting before launching four Ki spikes at her foes body. So confident after besting Akassa the woman didn’t even see the attack coming, the subtle use of her technique catching her off guard. Seeing the pain and surprise on the woman’s face almost made Akassa smile, her arrogance washed away with a wave of pain. Of course that only meant more pain for the Princess as well. A derogatory name was spat at her before a foot collided solidly with her chest. With broken ribs already the kick sends sharp pains through her chest even as she gets launched backwards, some strands of her dark hair left behind in the elf’s still clenched fist.
While the retaliatory kick saves her from the blast that Ninjin then releases it awarded her no reprieve. Hitting the ground hard Akassa rolls violently across the rubble covered floor. Bouncing and skipping along the broken ground only mangles her poor leg further, the whole thing having gone numb from the thigh down by now, all the better considering how swollen it currently was. Finally slamming up against a larger piece of what had once been the palaces castle she stops, groaning as her back slams up against it. Body arched over the piece of stone the Princess doesn’t move, the last of her energy having gone into that last attack. Upon impact her silver aura flickers out as her power signature begins to drop, blood running from the corner of her mouth.
Coughing some she finally feels her body giving out, strength leaving all of her muscles as it gets hard to keep her eyes from closing. Keeping them open through willpower alone the half-saiyan was unaware of the result of Ninjin’s attack, hoping with ever fiber of her being that it had been successful. Not able to move she felt herself growing even weaker, knowing she was in bad shape. Struggling to push through Akassa felt herself fading. Why was she not stronger? She should have been able to defeat the woman on her own, and yet here she was, laying on the ground a broken mess. Deep down she hoped she had done enough to ensure that Ninjin could kill the woman, even if she had ultimately, failed. Why was it when all the cards were on the table that she always came up short? Did she play her hand to early or was she simply not as skilled at the game as she believed? Pondering that question Akassa let her eyes slowly close, unsure of the answer.

It was finally over. After everything that happened in the few short moments since the attack on New Vegeta it was over. Aer Nin had foolishly kicked aside Akassa out of anger due to Akassa’s attack on her ribs and the prince’s mighty blast slammed into her like a wall of water. She was blasted off in some direction, though the palace had been nearly completely destroyed. The prince sank to his knees to try and get some breath back in him. True he was in perfect condition still after the senzu bean, but the staggering emotional weight of it all was hitting him at once.
After a few moments he stood, surveying the area. There was something tugging at the back of his mind but he couldn’t quite place it. Then with a shock he realized what it was. Aer Nin’s signature. There was no way. It was not possible. It shouldn’t have been possible. It really really shouldn’t have been possible. And yet there it was all the same. The prince’s hands clenched with rage and his power spiked to it’s maximum. How? How was this possible? The blast had been so much stronger than the elf women, especially due to her grievous side injury at the hands of his sister. And yet trace amounts of her signature hung around.
No. The prince was done playing. He was doing dealing with this bitch. It was time for her to die and stay dead. A glowing orb formed in his hand, and he launched it into the sky behind him. When he turned the light hit his eyes and they expanded, his pupils growing well beyond what they should have been able to grow to. His already trembling rage-filled muscles expanded and grew as his new form took hold. Hair sprouted all over his body and his mouth and nose formed together into a muzzle with rows of sharp teeth. His rage was only magnified by this form, and his power level was enormous. When the transformation was completely he would stalk over to Aer Nin, easily finding her with his improved eyes.
The shape she was in was pitiful. The smashed remains of an object that once held some sort of liquid would catch his powerful eyes nearby her. It may have been what she was using to heal herself or it may have just been something that she had acquired whilst she crashed through the walls, the oozaru didn’t care. It was clear that she would not be moving any time soon, and only one of her arms appeared to be intact. He would jump on that one first. Bounding up high, the entire weight of the Oozaru-Prince would smash down with thunderous force on her working arm. If she moved her arm towards her chest, all the more pitiful for her, as he would just stomp on that, though if she did move her arm against her chest he would not come down with his full weight, only enough weight to break the arm and her ribs. Any ki blasts that she attempted to fire his way would be shrugged off laughably, there was not enough power in the woman to save her anymore. Even if she detonated herself in some sort of sacrificial way the blast would have no effect on the Oozaru, she was too weak and he was too strong.
Once her arm was crushed by his massive power and weight the giant ape would pick the woman up delicately with index finger and thumbs by both of her arms. A sick noise would be heard as he first ripped them from their sockets, and then off her body entirely. He would drop her, throw the arms into the air, and vaporize them with a blast of ki from his mouth. Then he would turn back towards the bleeding woman.
“You die now. Badly. If that wasn’t already clear.”
Using his thumb to hold the woman down he would then, one by one, rip off her legs. The experience would be excruciating for the cardinal, but so utterly gratifying for the prince. He would throw them up in the air and vaporize them the same way he had with her arms. She would be dying rapidly now of bloodloss, you can’t lose all four limbs and not bleed out, but the oozaru had one that thing in mind.
“No matter how hard you believe, you’re going to die. Right now.” With blood covered hands the prince would pick her up in one and wrench her head from her body with the other, in a very slow motion. He would toss the two pieces into the air and vaporize them same as he had with all her other parts.
Aer Nin was dead. The prince howled with victory.

He was going to be a hero. Nasu had just saved two ROYAL Hattori’s in one day, the crown prince and the Queen. Not only that he got to threaten Tsyuo in person. Today was a great day.
He looked around at the utter destruction of the palace and the untold lives lost. For him, today was a great day for him. The guard had assured him he could get the healing tank up and running again. Once he dropped Natisha in Nasu would be a hero even the King couldn’t touch. With the guards attention firmly on the machine in front of him Nasu even pretended to stretch his arm a little bit but in reality patted himself on the back.
And that was of course the moment all his plans decided to go to hell.
Nasu felt a weakening power source flying towards them at amazing speeds and jumped back with the Queen in his arms but even his senses hadn’t given him enough warning to completely avoid the debri as the near wall exploded inward.
Nasu extended his senses out as far as they could go and turned his back to the debri shielding the Queen he held in his arms the best he could. However it didn’t do much to shield himself as he was pummeled with stones from the wall knocking him to his knees.
He sensed the guard behind him die and in a moment of panic turned back to see his last hope to save Natisha had blown up along with a good chunk of the palace.Turning towards the energy signature that had so rudely taken his well earned title of hero to the crown away from him. He recognizes it. This must be the church that was fighting Ninjin and Akassa. He had sensed their fight off in the distance but this was his first chance to see her. And he imagined she had looked a lot better earlier. Her body was mangled, both her legs and one of her arms were at angles that he hoped were natural for her race but definitely didn’t match up with how Saiyan limbs were supposed to look. Her clothes were torn and bloody and her mouth was covered with blood she had coughed up. Most importantly for Nasu though, her power level that had earlier had him quaking in his boots was not below his own and fading fast. It was clear this woman was dying and that brought a grim smile to his face.
“That’ll teach you to attack the saiyans.” he thought, but before he could gloat further the woman opened her eyes...crap she was still alive. Her hand reached into her robe and pulled out a small vial. With a movement that seemed far too fluid for the state she was in at the moment the woman stabbed one end of the vial into her leg and pushed a button. Instantly Nasu felt the woman’s power level shoot upward back to levels he couldn’t fight on his own. The womans body appeared to twitch and some of her wounds began to knit themselves shut but before much more could be done the vail shot out of her leg and rolled over to Nasu as if fate were guiding it.
The woman though powerful was unable to move, the vial still half full had clearly not done the job it was meant to do. He had no idea what kind of medicine this really was but it had helped the freaky alien lady. Looking up he notices her charging a blast but she seemed to have forgotten about Nasu. Off in the distance he senses his brother’s energy skyrocket even further. What he hell? Since when was Ninjin this strong? He looked back down at the Queen, if he didn’t do something immediately she was going to die.
Nasu closed his eyes and stabbed the needle into Natisha’s arm.
A giant Ozaru burst through the same wall the church woman had come through earlier.
Nasu pressed the button sending the liquid flowing into the Queen’s veins and held his breath.
The Ozaru charged the woman.
Her mouth opened shouting wordlessly as if in pain.
The Ozaru jumped as if to crush the woman.
The Queens eyes shot open glowing bright blue as glowing blue tears streaked down her face. Nasu panicked and he forgot to keep his senses extended. He didn’t know how but it looked like he’d just killed the Queen.

A sudden surge of energy shot through her body. Muscles stitching themselves back together, skin growing at an unheard of rather, blood began to replenish itself and bones merged together to become one again. The Queen could feel the heat pouring through her body as a new energy piped through her body. Suddenly she felt her body shoot upwards as her eyes went wide. She could feel tears rolling down her face and after a brief moment of pain and euphoria her body crashed to the ground. Her breathing was shallow at first as she felt the life she almost lost slowly filter back into her lungs. She slowly opened her as, with her vision blurry at first but it began to clear. As it did she saw a young man probably in his mid-teens standing over him. It was strange, perhaps it was whatever was used but she could swear she saw a resemblance in this young man to that of her husband. She quickly dismissed this thought though as her mind slowly crawled back online. It was then that she could feel the growing power from only a few feet away. She was not aware of what was going on but she wanted no part of it. She was one for politics, not war. She grabbed the hand of her savior, rose to her feet with a bit of a struggle and then began to run in the opposite direction of where the energy was coming from. “If you want to live you must come with me. NOW.” She commanded with an authoritative tone. Even harmed like this she was not one to take a back seat to what was going on. She wanted no part of what was about to occur. *** She could feel it. The prick of a prince had decided to use the Saiyan’s most heretical form, the Oozaru. No doubt he had thrown up a moon ball and no doubt he thought he was going to rip her apart piece by piece. No, no Saiyan would claim her. Her thoughts were rushed but one idea made her laugh. If the fool had been stupid enough to use that form when she was at her epitome of strength than he would have had a little surprise waiting for him but now he would have to wait for that surprise in the future. The Universal Church of One did not have a plan in case the attack failed, it was all or nothing. Aer Nin had been adamant on this, for she did not want to potentially endanger the entirety of the Church. The plan as it stood was that after the UCOO infiltrated New Vegeta that they would launch the attack, after they were successful Aer Nin would use a special frequency message, to which she was the only one on the Moon that knew it, would contact a fleet of Universal Church of One ships that would arrive several days later while the forces on the Moon held off the Saiyans. But if Aer Nin was to die then the fleet would never engage, never leave their hiding spot and never be detected by the Saiyan military. They had all traveled to the Moon via public transportation under perfect fake identities that would hold up even when scrutinized and even if the Saiyans had decided to try and track the shipments they would only be met with endless patterns leading to nowhere. The androids had been shipped unknowingly by innocent companies, their shipments being replaced in secret. The androids never had the coordinates of any Universal Church of One installation in their memory so even pieces of androids that may have survived would be useless. The Cardinal had been meticulous about making sure that there would be no way to trace back to any Universal Church of One installation. Years of planning would not go to waste even in failure. Aer Nin had been told her faith was the greatest amongst those that had been recruited into the Universal Church of One’s fold. It was this faith that granted her the immense power that she was able to wield. It allowed her to rise quickly through the ranks of the Church and eventually come into the position of Cardinal of the Inquisition. While her faith in Aon gave her a basis of hatred for Saiyans, similar to all those that were deemed heretical, it was not the true source of the hatred for the Saiyans. No it was much more ingrained in her being than just a simple upbringing. When she ascended to the position of Cardinal she was summoned by the Warlock into a private chamber off of the Cathedral on Mement Mor. It was there that Aer Nin was informed why she was found in an orphanage. It turned out that back on the planet that she was found the Saiyan army had been landed there and performed a raiding mission in the effort of gaining more resources. What was thought to be a raid turned into a blood bath as the Saiyan army committed genocide on the planet’s population. The general at the time? The then newly crowned Tsuyo. Aer Nin was told that there was never an intention of a simple raid, for at the time Tsuyo faced many doubts from the nobles and used the maneuver to demonstrate his ability to command an army and to be feared. It was after this that the Universal Church of One would appear on the planet and rescue the remaining survivors, including the young Aer Nin. After hearing this news she declared that the Saiyans would die, they would burn and they would pay for their senseless destruction of her family. It was that hatred that fueled each movement that Aer Nin made. It was this hatred that refused to let her die by one of these damn monkey’s hands. The power began to ripple through her body, it would not be much longer before she simply blew up because her body was no longer able to maintain the power flow. Each step the prick of a prince made caused the ground to vibrate violently. That was it, come closer. Feeling the Saiyan stop just outside of the building the Cardinal let a smug smile slip across her face. It was then that the Oozaru tore away the side of the building. The beast’s was as ugly as his soul. Aer Nin did not have any spiteful words for prince. No she could have said that he was a pig, a beast, a hot headed fool, that he had thrown away things very close to him only for personal gain or that he was too blind to see what was happening around him. But she didn’t. No, she only had one word for him. “Boom.” With that one word spoken her body was consumed into light. She was one born of light and she would return to the light. All the energy that had been building in her body released in one massive explosion. A blast with the force of 208,000 power level ripped through the area instantly disintegrating anything that surrounded her. Even though the prince was more powerful than her, and the blast would be far from being able to kill him, at this close distance it was at least bound to hurt him. To what extent she had no idea, and frankly she could careless at this point as she was just tired of fighting the prick of a prince. Her true objective was what occurred next. The explosion would rip through the palatial complex with sickening speed engulfing all those in the near vicinity in a wall of light. It was after that that the actual energy began to carve its way through the buildings. Anyone in the nearby area that was not as powerful as the prick would be either tossed through the air violently or completely obliterated. The end result would be just a barren wasteland with now more than eighty percent of the complex either destroyed or severely damaged. *** Aer Nin opened her eyes to find herself standing in an area of bright light, of clouds, of what felt like blissful peace. In front of her was a set of golden gates. At first they remained shut and Aer Nin by herself but it was not for just a few moments before they began to creak open. From behind them a single man appeared, well dressed with dark black hair. At first the Cardinal did not know what to do or who this person was but it then suddenly dawned on her. Instantly she sank to a single knee. “Lor…Lord Aon…I am not worthy…” Aer Nin spoke with a shaky voice. But suddenly she felt a soft hand descend onto her shoulder. “No child. You do. Otherwise you would not be here.” Aon said with a smile on his face. “Rise, and join me in the Kingdom of Light.” Aon said as he guided the Cardinal to her feet and begin to lead through the gates. She could not believe it as her muscles finally felt tired from carrying the weight of Aon’s words began to finally lift from her shoulders. She had never realized how much she was tired. But she did not have to worry about it anymore. No not anymore. It was in that moment that tears began to run down her face as she saw two figures standing in front of Aer Nin. “Mother…father…” She cried as she staggered forward into their arms. Each wore a blissful smile. In their arms again, it had been her one true dream and with it achieved tears of happiness ran down her face. Aon watched on with a smile, he was not one to no reward his followers for their faithful service. In her parents arms Aer Nin, reunited with her family, the three would begin to fade away. They would finally go to their resting place. Born from light. The children of Aon would someday return to the light of their creator. It is in this light that they will find true peace and splendor. Aer Nin had finally found that peace and splendor.

The Princess did not possess the skills to sense power signatures accurately, but even in her semi -conscious state she felt the power that came from Ninjin. Slowly a smile formed on her bloody lips, her eyes still closed she assumed as he was changing into his Oozaru form. That woman was done now; there was no way she was going to hold up against the true power that her brother possessed. Part of her wanted to laugh at the elf’s misfortune, Akassa glad that she would meet a cruel fate at his hands, but she didn’t have enough air to do so. Only able to take in shallow breaths the female knew something had to be broken, ribs the most likely candidate since they were probably pressing in against her lungs.
Arched over the stone she had ended up landing on the Princess’ face wasn’t looking up, the Moon Ball not even visible if she had opened her eyes. In all honesty she wasn’t sure if seeing the technique with so little strength left would trigger anything, so weak her body might not even respond to the waves of energy that radiated from it. It was probably better that way, her body didn’t need any more stress on it than it was already experiencing. Growing weaker she felt her energy dropping even lower, close to what you might expect from an average Saiyan warrior now. Defenseless Akassa was glad Ninjin had things under control; she might yet live through this failure.
That was when Aer Nin released her finally attack.
First came the blinding flash of white that seemed to fill every crevice with its burning light, no shadow safe as the last of the female’s power erupted from her in a violent explosion of Ki. Even with her eyes closed Akassa could still see the light, her eyelids not thick enough to block out the blast from Aer Nin’s sacrificial technique. The elf’s faith unquestionable as she extinguishes her own life in order to appease her god one last time. If there had been any individual that had known both Aer Nin and Akassa they probably would have seen the glaring similarity between the two women. When it came to both of them their dedication was absolute, neither would falter from the path that fate had lain out before them and neither wanted anything more than to prove to those they cared for they were worthy. For Akassa it was her father, while for Aer Nin it was Aon, had they both failed this day?
As the wall of Ki that came from the explosion rolled outward it obliterated anything in its path, stone and flesh alike. The Princess would again have Ninjin to thank, his blast before having knocked the woman far enough away so that only the farthest edge of the explosion reaches Akassa’s prone form. Even at this distance it burned, the blast sending her tumbling across the broken ground yet again. Colliding with several rocks in her forced travel, none of which were big enough to stop her, the Princess felt her battered body break through each one before finally coming to rest in the dirt. Eyes that were barely open now looked up at the dark ski above, stars twinkling off in the distance.
With the destructive blast having run its course what was left of the palace fell eerily silent, Akassa only able to hear her own raspy breathing. Unable to move or call out the half-saiyan listened for any sound, any hint that someone was near. It was strangely peaceful after everything she had been through this day, the so many lives that had been lost and the destruction that had befallen her home all seemed so…distant. It was quiet now. With the rise and fall of her chest slowing to a crawl she struggled to stay awake, but she truly had nothing left. Eyes sliding closed as darkness consumed her, the only sound in the area would be her shallow, labored breathing.

At the apex of his jump Ninjin looked down. His intents were fully to land on the woman and crush her with his newfound massive weight. She was all-but-helpless lying below him. What he didn’t expect however, was her to mouth the word “boom” at him. Boom? What could that possibly mean? The prince didn’t have long to wonder, he soon found out, in a rather grandiose and morbid fashion. The woman blew herself to bits in some asinine last ditch attempt at killing him. For her, perhaps any way she possibly could avoid dying at the hands of Saiyans she would exploit, even if it involved taking her own life. That was cowardice to the extreme for Saiyans. What glory to die in battle rather than take one’s own life? If he could possibly think less of the woman he did in that moment.
The explosion ripped towards him like a beast clawing towards its next meal, but the prince scoffed. What was the woman gaining by blowing herself to bits? Like a rock the prince dropped through the blast with arms crossed over his face and landed where the woman once lay. Aside from his entire pelt being singed and a few burns here and there was little other damage to him, the blast being too weak and his Oozaru form being too strong. He patted out the flames that still smoldered on his skin.
The prince still roared with victory. A sound that carried out across the ruins of the palace. All would be able to hear it. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding her death, it had been Ninjin Hattori that had put her there. He had killed her, whether or not she finished herself off was a moot point, had it not been for Ninjin she never would have had to. And thus the prince was victorious. His family too, had lived through it. His father was poisoned but otherwise alive, his mother’s energy had recently spiked back up to its fullest, Leke was not in the castle fighting Aer, and Akassa… well that was a horse of a different color.
There were no traces of Aer Nin left; save for the charred pieces of flesh and cloth that lined what was left of the palace walls. The healing tanks that were in the room were destroyed. That brought Ninjin’s mind back to Akassa. His sister was still bleeding out on the battlefield there somewhere. The Oozaru ran back towards where his sister was laying.
It was clear that Akassa was not in good shape as soon as Ninjin saw her. Anyone could see that the once proud warrior had been humbled. In his rage towards the cardinal he had nearly forgotten that she was dying on the ground, her blood slowly seeping from her into the earth where their castle once stood. Her arm and legs were the worst to look at. The socket where her arm had once been was charred and already oozed with pus and blood. Her body was charred from the explosion that he had so effortlessly gone through. But he was in his Oozaru form, and she had not been.
Wordlessly he scooped his sister up and looked around. The place he would bring her, the infirmary, was destroyed. Aer Nin’s explosion had seen to that. It was, at luck would have it, at that moment when he transformed back from Oozaru to Saiyan. His armor had been destroyed multiple times over during the fight, but somehow his pants had remained intact, though they had turned to shorts. Tucked inside his pocket was a senzu-bean.
Not thinking twice he jammed the bean into his sister’s mouth and made her chew. It would revitalize her, but what of her arm?
“Don’t worry Akassa. We did it.” He would say looking down at his sister. His voice was peaceful, but his mind raged with thoughts of war.

Oh god he’d killed the queen. And Ninjin was right there too. He’d probably seen all of it. He’d probably kill Nasu next. There was no way he didn’t see Nasu drive a needle into his mother then she lit up like a space Christmas tree. A hand grabbed his own startling him out of his horror, and it was the queens. And she was standing...she was standing! Nasu hadn’t killed Natisha, he’d saved her! Extending his senses again he could feel her power level grow back to her normal level. She was healed!
And she immediately took off running? What the hell?
“If you want to live you must come with me. Now!” she shouted at him never breaking her stride. Nasu took off after her still determined to keep his word that she wouldn’t die while he was standing. Man she was bossy though. Then again she was the queen, she was probably used to issuing commands and expecting them to be followed immediately. And since Nasu reacted, listening to her on instinct he could see why. The queen’s aura was one of cold authority, you didn’t lightly ignore her commands even if she wasn’t the queen her voice carried a power to it that made you listen to what she said before you consciously knew what you were doing. They hadn’t made it far when he felt the woman from the church’s power spike to amazing levels again. This time he heard the sound of a massive explosion behind him. He didn’t turn, turning would only slow him down, instead he lept into the air to fly instead of trying to run over the rubble and debris on the ground.
He saw Natisha still running ahead of him and decided this was too slow. Instead still flying forward as fast as he could he picked her up off the ground. The small delay to grab her however cost him, the explosive wave caught up to them. It hit Nasu full in the back sending him flying. Luckily his back softened the blow for the possibly still recovering queen. Instead he then turned so he was flying back first queen in his arms shielded as best he could from the impacts he was about to endure. Unable to stop himself he slammed through one of the walls of the palace. Then another, then another. Ow. At the fourth wall his entire body was pain, at the fifth even the pain started to leave him as his body began to lose consciousness.
Nasu reached into his inner-strength determined to stay conscious until they were safe. Finally too many walls later Nasu and the queen burst through the outer wall of the palace. The explosion sent them flying still and they hit the ground with force and the queen of course landing on top of Nasu and from the feel of it breaking one of his ribs.
She rolled off luckily seemingly damaged but not dead. He’d kept his word to his brother, but Nasu couldn’t move. He tried to sit up and found himself completely unable. Instead the effort just caused the darkness at the corners of his vision to seep in ever faster. As his world went black his last thoughts were of that he could still sense Ninjin’s energy strong, and faintly if he strained Akassa’s, though she was getting weaker by the second. Still for the moment knowing his family was still alive caused Nasu smiled then his inner-strength expended he proceeded to fall unconscious lying outside on the palace grounds.

The boy did as he was told. Natisha for whatever reason had forgotten that she could fly and instead took off running. The Queen knew on an instinctual level of what was going to happen next based on what little she could gather right now. Whoever was on the other side of the room was going to blow themselves up and she did not feel like dying after just coming back from the brink of the Afterlife. Suddenly she felt the young man lift her and begin to fly faster. She was about to object to the improper touching when she felt the heat of the blast coming from behind them. It was only a second later that she felt the blast against her back. The boy did his best as they were engulfed but he was tossed like a ragdoll through the air. At one point he twisted and turned to block her from crashing through wall after wall. It took wall after wall but eventually the two of them popped out on the very outside of the palace complex.
Upon crashing into the ground the Queen rolled off of the boy. It took her a moment to realize what was going on as she scrambled to her feet. When she did she was greeted by the sight of the boy passing into unconsciousness and the destruction that had been caused in the battle for New Vegeta. The city burned, the palace looked like a barren wasteland with only a few hills dotting the landscape. She felt the anger and sadness growing in her. The Church would pay for this. It was in these thoughts that a guard would land behind the Queen.
“Your Majesty! We need to take you to some place safe!” The guard stated as three more landed behind him.
The Queen thought carefully on what she going to do next. “Have you found my husband?”
“We have my lady.”
“Good. Bring me to him. From there we can begin the counter attack in order to take back the city.” The Queen said as she began to walk towards the guards. “Bring the boy. Make sure that he makes it into a healing tank, it is the least he can do for saving my life.”

As Ninjin moved her jaw it forced the unconscious Princess to bite into the senzu bean he had placed in her mouth. Instantly the magical properties set to work on her damaged body. All the cuts and scrapes she had suffered heal within the blink of an eye, her skin back to its natural smooth state without any sort of scaring left behind. Next came the broken and cracked ribs within torso, the bones snapping back into place and fusing back together. Like with her skin the bones fused perfectly, leaving behind no physical signs that they had ever been broken. The magical energies then went to work her mangled excuse for a leg, the appendage shifting back to its original shape as all the damage Aer Nin had done to it was reversed. Last to be fixed was her shoulder, but the arm that had been removed did not regenerate. When it had been removed by the burning hand of Aer Nin it had separated her arm completely, such a loss was beyond the power of a senzu bean to heal. The magical beans could heal and fix the most grievous of wounds, but they could not regenerate something that had been completely lost.
All of this happened in two short seconds, Akassa’s brown eyes snapping open as her energy spikes back to its normal level. Sucking in a deep breath, eyes darting around some it took her an instant to gather herself, her brown orbs finally resting on Ninjin.
Don’t worry Akassa. We did it.
Aer Nin must have been dead; Ninjin had defeated her. Looking up at him there was at first relief, glad that the woman had finally been defeated and what was left of New Vegeta was safe. Beneath the calm she felt for the safety of those she cared for anger burned. Anger that was directed at the Universal Church of One for attacking her home, anger at the lives that had been lost during this cowardly sneak attack, and anger at herself for not having been able to deal with Aer Nin herself. Sure she had gone toe to toe with the woman for most of the fight, but each time the elf had been truly wounded it had been at the hands of Ninjin. She harbored no ill will towards her brother, he had done his duty. She, Akassa, the stronger of the two siblings should have been able to handle this woman on her own but she had failed.
Without a word she staggers to her feet, feeling suddenly unbalanced as if her right side was heavier than her left. Having lost consciousness she had forgotten about what that wench had done to her. Regaining her balance she looks to her left shoulder, her eyes tracing along where her arm had once been. Grinding her teeth some the anger she felt only multiplied as the true gravity of her wound hit her. Her left arm was gone, just gone; there was no other way to put it. For twenty-one years she had trained her body to become the weapon she desired it to be, and in one instant part of it was taken away from her. Looking over to Ninjin, the anger she felt was obvious on her usually calm face, she utters only three words before turning away from him. ”Thank you brother.”
Walking away from him through the rubble of the once proud Saiyan palace Akassa was furious. Not only had she been defeated, she had been humiliated. It didn’t even cross her mind that her curt words and abrupt turn might have made her seem ungrateful to Ninjin. She was of course thankful for him saving her life, using his own senzu bean to bring her back from the brink, but her anger drowned out that thankfulness. Moving away from him Akassa knew she didn’t need to search out her father or Natisha for if they had still been in any danger Ninjin would have gone to them first. The Princess was unsure what other foes might still be plaguing her home, but Ninjin was in far better shape to deal with them. What Akassa needed to do was get a new arm, and then she would be ready. Ready for war. {PL please, Zenkai is in affect I am assuming}
