Peace had lingered over the universe for a long time now. There had been bouts of war and destruction here and there but nothing truly on the scale that would spread sadness or shock over the stars. But the winds were changing. Something was in the air. It could be felt on all the inhabited planets. The main kingdoms were beginning to move and consolidate power. Some said the Saiyans were becoming stir crazy, others that Artic was plotting a way to remove Prometheus Zex from power, or even that the Fuhrer King was building an army in the shadows in order to conquer the universe and force everyone to submit to his will. Everyone was looking to the shadows for the forces that would break the peace that had lingered for so long. Never did anyone realize that the forces would come from the light and from right in front of everyone’s eyes. If observers had picked up on the subtle clues in events scattered across the universe it was no longer a matter of if the event would come but rather when. And that time is now. *** It was a typical day in the court of the Saiyan Kingdom. Tsuyo, its mighty King, was surrounded by various nobles and diplomats from around the galaxy. Beyond just being a kingdom unto itself New Vegeta acted as a guard against other very powerful organizations in the universe most notably Artic’s collection of Icejin. Tsuyo found this task to be a tad annoying at times; he much preferred to let his wife, Natisha deal with these sorts of matters. She was much stronger than he was in them while when it came to the military there was almost no one that rivaled his strategic mind. “I assure you sire that if you were to agree to the trade deals with the Federation we would be able to provide androids to supplement the mighty Saiyan army,” One green looking slug like creature spouted. Frankly Tsuyo found them disgusting looking but he found that with a lot of races. This one continued on about this so called Trade Federation that would bring wealth into the kingdom but based on reports he had received from his spies that was far from the case. “Your majesty he jests as nothing more than poverty will befall New Vegeta if you agree to those trade deals. It is exhibited by the various systems that have already agreed to them. System after system falls into despair and then plundered for any economic jewels that are left.” A female diplomat countered. She was cloaked from head to toe in black. Her words were calming and highly persuasive. She had entered the court of the King many months ago and Tsuyo had grown to trust her over this new arrival. Taking a step backwards Tsuyo pondered what was proposed to him. From every report he had received on this trade federation the female diplomat was correct. Nothing good came of these deals and as such made his decision very easy. “Viscount while your proposal is interesting, New Vegeta will not be joining this Trade Federation of yours as long as I sit on the throne.” Tsuyo stated with authority. The Viscount sank with sadness before bowing his head and departing from the throne room. When the door closed behind him a small door on the other side of the room opened, the King looked over to see his lovely wife entering with her normal elegance and posture. “Everything going well my dear husband?” She asked. “It is I have once again received good advice from our dear friend but I also managed to avoid possible economic disaster for the kingdom.” Tsuyo indicated with a swing of his arm towards the female diplomat. “She really has proven a boon to us here in the palace. I wonder what she wants in return for all of this good advice,” Natisha jested. As she spoke the female diplomat had ventured over to the table and poured two stout glasses of wine in celebration of the deal. She normally did not partake in any drinking; in fact no one in the palace had ever seen her remove her cloak and seen her face. “I just offer wise advice to those I work with. I have no need to ask the mighty rulers of New Vegeta for any favor, not yet anyways.” The woman said as she bowed her head and offered up the wine to the King and Queen. Both royals accepted it graciously as the female diplomat returned her hands to her sides. The few other figures in the room were no doubt jealous of the close nature of the diplomat with the royals. “I am sure there will be one day where you will ask for a favor and when that day comes I hope I can deliver for you for all the help you have given,” The King said downing the wine rather quickly. He had always been known for his strong tolerance to alcohol. “I will make sure of it. I won’t let him forg…” The queen started to say when she was interrupted. It was not a person that interrupted her but rather a large sound of what could only be assumed as an explosion. Suddenly the palace rocked and shook violently for a moment. Tsuyo’s eyes immediately focused and while Natisha’s and everyone else in the room was confused by the sound. As soon as the rumbling stopped the hall doors burst open with at least a dozen guards running in dressed in full battle armor. “Your majesty! The space port…there has been a large explosion! Dozens are injured from the first reports and many more yet to be determined.” The soldier started. Before the King was able to speak however the soldier continued, “Sire, this was no accident. From what we can tell this was an attack.” As the soldier fell silent the room remained without a word until the Saiyan King stood up straight. In that moment there was not a man more ready for the task then the King. “Clear the throne room. Summon my children. Prepare response teams to deal with the injured. Place the guards on high alert to stay on lookout for the perpetrators.” The King commanded. Instantly the guards rushed forward and began to escort all the diplomats out of the room in a hurried fashion even the female who despite her relationship was apparently not privy to the workings of the Saiyan military. Natisha was the only one that was allowed to be with the King now. “Whoever has done this will pay,” The Queen hissed in disgust. “You can rest assured my Queen they will…” The Saiyan King started but couldn’t finish. He was interrupted by a coughing fit which forced him to bend over. The coughing only grew more violent as he pulled his fist away from his mouth showing that the mighty paw was now covered in darkened blood. The Queen’s eyes went wide as she reached out for her husband but as soon as her hands touched his body he collapsed to his knees. She could not figure out what was going on. Was he sick? He couldn’t have, he received a full medical evaluation after arriving in home after traveling to those slums on Omega. Which only meant he had been poisoned but how? The realization hit the Queen like a bus. Her eyes turned to the female diplomat cloaked in full black. She had given him wine to drink; looking down at her own drink she tossed it aside across the floor and turned to the guards. “STOP THE DIPLOMAT IN BLACK! SHE HAS POISONED THE KING!” The Queen screeched. At first the guards were not sure if she was being serious but when they laid eyes on their beloved King quickly taking a turn for the worst they slammed the doors to the throne room shut and stopping the group of diplomats from leaving. The other diplomats quickly scattered away from the female cloaked in black. Guards instantly started to inch closer with their hands raised ready for any combat that may ensue. However as they grew closer all they heard was laughter. At first it was soft but it gradually grew in volume until it echoed around the chamber. Suddenly her body burst into flames sending the fire outwards in all directions. Instantly it enveloped the guards and the other diplomats causing them to scream in terror and pain as they quickly were burned alive. Now standing in the circle of fire was a single woman. At first glance she was quite beautiful with white hair and glowing green eyes. Gone was the black cloak that covered all of her features only now was Natisha able to see the robes of the woman. They were highly ornate and carried what looked like armor within them though it was hard to tell. As the woman turned slowly towards the Queen her power level began to rise quickly surpassing the Queen’s and rapidly approached what he husband was normally capable of. “Let me formally introduce myself…I am Aer Nin, Cardinal of the Universal Church of One.” She stated with pride. But at the name the Queen instantly began to shake with both fear and rage. After all of these months of advice it was proven to her that she worked for one of the Kingdom’s sworn enemies. “You once asked me if I had a favor to ask you…” She continued causing a puzzled look to cross the Queen’s face as the King seemingly lost consciousness in her arms from the poison. “I want you to burn, you and your entire filthy race. I want to burn your heresy from existence.” Aer said as her power continued to rise. How powerful was she? Who would stop her? What else was there in store for the home of the Saiyans? (Transportation to New Vegeta via the normal transportation system is no longer possible. All those on New Vegeta are trapped unless they have a ship that can move independently of the established transportation system. This is a saga thread and as such saga rules are enacted.)

Akassa was in her private quarters, actually in the middle of one of her rare down times. Usually such times were spent training, but after so much recent activity the Princess had decided to take a small break. Leaning back in one of her plush chairs Akassa is startled as the whole room starts to shake. Leaping to her feet she immediately knew something was wrong. Unlike Earth or other planets with a molten core there were no plates on the Moon and no earthquake could ever strike here. Grabbing her scouter, not even bothering to grab her jacket she rushes towards the door, slamming it open with enough force to bend several of the large hinges.
Rushing out into the hallway Akassa almost knocks over the two guards that had been running towards her quarters. Seeing the panicked looks on their faces only confirms that something had happened, but what?
”What has happened, are we under attack?” Despite herself the Princess was almost yelling at the guards, the urgency in her voice quite evident. When the two look at her, still seeming to be shocked by everything that was going on she raises her voice a little more. ”Report soldiers!” After several more blinks and the Princess taking a step closer to them they snap out of whatever daze they had been in.
”Yes….Princess, we are under attack…there has been an explosion at the public space port…the King as requested your presence.” That was all Akassa needed to hear, the female shoving between the two Saiyans and breaking into a run. Who would be foolish enough to attack New Vegeta? She supposed it didn’t matter, for whoever had done it was going to pay with their lives. Rounding a corner Akassa activates the scouter over her right eye, noticing a large number of signatures being moved from the throne room. Her father must have dismissed everyone…wait guards were running in now; normal defense protocols had been activated, guards coming to reinforce the throne room along with a signature she did not recognize. Nodding some Akassa was sure the King was already setting plans in motion.
About to turn the scouter off for the time being she notices several signatures starting to rise in the throne room. With her finger levitating over the button she reads them all. They were all lower than her, guards most likely, but why in the world were they powering up? That was not part of the protocol and made no sense, none of them were close to the King in strength so their maximum power would mean nothing if the throne room was under attack, there was nothing her father could not handle. Trying to figure out what was going out, only half way to the throne room, her eyes widen when the signatures begin to quickly disappear. When a signature vanished completely that could only mean one thing.
Lifting off the ground now Akassa takes to the air, her bukujutsu activated as she now rockets towards the throne room. Something was wrong, none of this made any sense. Who in their right mind would attack New Vegeta and who would go so far to try and harm her father? Tsuyo Hattori was the most dominant ruler in the known Universe, in her opinion of course, and one that no one challenged, not even the Icejing King Arctic. Finally making it to the throne room she sees the doors are closed, meaning no one had forced their way inside. Thinking her father might be in some sort of trouble, as hard as it was to believe, Akassa slams through the throne room doors as well, forcing the heavy portals open. What she saw inside left her speechless.
Towards the back of her room the King was on the floor, but as far as she could tell no wound had put him there. Natisha stood over him, her eyes wide as she looked at the only other individual in the room. Akassa did not recognize the female, her attire like anything she had ever seen before. The eldest Hattori child had never personally dealt with the Universal Church of One, so she was not familiar with their garb, but she knew plenty about their goals. Even though she was unaware of who this woman was affiliated that does not change her reaction to the scene.
Glad she had not brought her weights the Princess does not even need to throw them off as she spikes up to her full power, her silver aura bursting to life around her. Taking only a moment to gather herself from the initial shock and to reach her full strength Akassa launches herself at the woman. Questions could be asked later if there was anything left of the female, now was the time to act. Her scouter read that the strange woman’s power was at 75,000 far less than the Princess’s full power. Had the woman’s power been over a million Akassa would have reacted just the same. A threat had come to New Vegeta, and it now threatened her father, Akassa would give nothing short of her life to protect him.
Rushing the woman Akassa doesn’t even attempt to deliver a strike or blast, instead she aims to tackle her right to the ground. Thinking she was fast enough, her arms spread out wide before attempting to wrap around the girls waist. If successful the Princess planned to tackle the girl to ground. Once upon here the half-saiyan would unleash her fury with a vicious chain of strikes, aimed down at the woman beneath her. With her father seemingly out of commission for the time being and Natisha tending to him Akassa was one of the highest ranked individuals on New Vegeta. No one had given her the command to attack this woman, but she didn’t need to hear it. This woman would die for whatever part she had played in all of this.

Kabocha, Shiitake, and Endou, royal lackies to Prince Ninjin Hattori, sat huddled in a circle in the space port, a pool of zeni spread out on the fold-out poker table in front of them. Each was looking intently at their cards. It was a game they had learned during their time on Omega. Yes, they had had a lot of free time there. The Crown prince seemingly didn’t have time for the three of them during all of his adventures on the space-station world. They had been confined to the space-station because no one could find any record of just who they were and all attempts to contact Ninjin had gone unanswered. Not because the Prince didn’t care, but because no one else cared enough to go tell him.
Kabocha looked up from his cards as a group of individuals entered the chamber. They were dressed in robes, no doubt a delegation from someone with a diplomatic relationship with the Saiyan Kingdom. With a flick of his head he motioned for the others to check them out. They all snickered upon seeing the foreign looking delegation. It was always funny seeing the various groups of aliens that had talks with the king.
“What do you think they want? Trade or Protection?” Shiitake asked the other two. Those were the two reasons most races came to talk with the King of New Vegeta. Endou shrugged and Kabocha stared at them as they walked back towards their ship.
“Hey do you guys recognize that logo?” Kabocha said. He was trying to place it. The arm of one of the delegate slipped through his or her robes. It was the symbol of the Universal Church of One. His eyes went wide.
“Oh shit.” It barely came out before the lead android, for that’s what they had been, exploded violently, sending shrapnel everywhere. They exploded in a line, setting off space ships in chain reactions. They had strategically placed themselves, and so when the final one exploded so too went the small amount of fuel the saiyans kept for resupply in the port. The walls of the port were built to withstand, and so although they did not crumble and fall the entire world shook with the force.
Kabocha had died instantly, torn apart by the explosions mere seconds after the words had left his mouth. Shiitake and Endou had been thrown end over end in their chairs. Shiitake’s legs had been violently blown from his body, and unconsciousness had blessed him as soon as he hit the wall. He would bleed out before any help could come.
Endou’s eyes flittered open, pain coursing through every part of her body. Where was she? Why was she in so much pain? She couldn’t hear anything other than a dull ringing. Her body felt warm, but not uncomfortably so. Perhaps she had been sleeping and had just awoken. That must be it. Her hearing returned in a rush and screaming could be heard from all around, just above the roar of the many fires that were covering the space port. That was right… New Vegeta had just been attacked.
She had to find someone, had to get help for… Her eyes came to rest on Shiitake, legless torso slumped up against the way, his eyes looking misty at something very far away. A sob forced its way out of her, and she covered her mouth. Or tried to. No hand made its way up, even though the feeling was the same. With a panicked glance she looked down to find that she didn’t have a right hand anymore, just a charred stump ending halfway up her forearm.
“Help!” She cried out, but her voice was lost in the multitude of others crying out. Who would come to rescue them? Surely they were already on their way. The whole world had rocked with the explosions, so they must know. With great effort she rolled over to her side. With a curse she vowed vengeance on the Universal Church of One. They would pay dearly for their actions that day.

Thud…
Dust and debris shook itself from the ceiling and flittered down slowly through the light towards where the Saiyan prince royal prince was laying. Confused, the young man looked up from his book towards the ceiling. It was odd; he didn’t recall scheduling any training exercises for today, and certainly not any that could cause such a tremor from the training hall to his bedroom. The room had shaken with the force. Ever the optimist, he doubted it was anything serious. This was New Vegeta after all. Home of the Saiyans. It was an odd day when someone wasn’t brawling with enough intensity to shake the world. With a sigh he stood from his bed and tossed his book lightly to the side, it was an old Earthen book about the art of war, and he was bored with it anyway. It taught him nothing he didn’t already know.
Alarms started blaring from the mounted speakers on the walls and Ninjin’s worry increased. What in the world was going on out beyond the walls of his room. With a quick proficiency he slipped into his armor, pounding footsteps and shouting outside his door alerting him to the urgency of the situation. With a hiss his door slid open and he stepped from the interior of the room, light shining off of his red and gold armor, looking very much like the god-like figure he told everyone he was.
A guard ran by and Ninjin reached out an arm, grabbing the man around the collar and halting him in his tracks. The rest of the guard ran by, a further sign that something was amiss within the castle halls. Normal protocol was to stop and salute Ninjin, the High General, when passing him. The guard squirming in his grasp turned his eyes and looked at Ninjin as if seeing him for the first time.
“My lord. There’s been an attack. Explosions from the space port. The number of casualties is uncertain at this time. The king has requested your presence in the throne room.”
It was all Ninjin needed to hear; he sped towards the throne room, feet barely touching the ground as his bukujutsu carried him forward, passed all the rushing guards and panicked others. His eyes came to rest on Akassa in head of him, slamming through heavy set doors. Ninjin quickly rushed in behind her, his eyes taking in the scene. His father lay unmoving on the floor in front of his throne, his mother looking horrified at the woman in ornate armor. His father’s powerlevel was very weak, approaching that of a normal human. The woman who was in the room was smiling, as if some great deed had been done. Ninjin gasped when his eyes fell upon her armor, there was no mistaking one of the symbols on the woman. The Universal Church of One.
So hated was his enemy. How often had they tried to take his life? He had battled bishops since his youth, each attack more bold and powerful than the last. But this…? This was the furthest they had dared to go. To attack New Vegeta. To attack the king?! Ninjin’s power level rocketed to its maximum, but it was his sister who moved to tackle the woman. Ninjin’s hands crept to his side and a ball of ki formed there. If his sister was unsuccessful, the woman would be blasted by his attack. He poured his ki into it, the red-gold ball of energy was going to be the last thing the woman ever saw. And then? Then it was time to stop being on the defensive. The Universal Church of One would pay for this. They would pay dearly for their actions that day.

The smell of burning flesh hung in the air and it was one of the sweetest smells she experienced in her life. It always was, even when it was someone other than these unnatural Saiyan creatures. The smell of burning heretics never brought more joy to Aer Nin. She had devoted her life to the health of the Universal Church of One. They had saved her from the darkness, from the misery of loneliness and from her blasphemer ways. She never realized how many things in the universe were unnatural and needed to be expunged. Her teachings started when she was just a small child however the mothers at the orphanage told her that she showed signs of having Aon’s light shine directly on her. Apparently others saw it was well since several days after reaching adulthood in the eyes of the Church she was named to the priesthood. From there based on her fiery sermons she gave to her followers she attracted the attention of the Archbishop that oversaw her position. He recommended that she join an elite group of devoted followers, they were called the Inquisition. It was this group that would go out throughout the universe and eliminate those that threatened the Church or defied Church law. Her eagerness and zealotry earned her many accommodations and great recognition. Over the course of ten years she soared through the ranks of the Church heralded as possible Warlock in time. Once she received her robes and position as a Cardinal Aer Nin was instructed to pick a focus for her followers, she chose the largest problem that faced the Universal Church of One, the unnatural existence of the Saiyans. From that day forward she had been planning this very moment. The day that the Saiyans fell. *** The Queen’s eyes were filled with fear as she looked upon Aer Nin, as they should be. The once mighty Tsuyo Hattori, the strongest Saiyan in the universe, lying on the ground of the palace floor like a helpless baby. Oh how the might have fallen. Before she could make another move towards her ultimate goal, without Tsuyo the Saiyan Empire would be helpless and ripe for extermination, the doors to the throne room slammed out as Aer Nin could feel the energy surging behind them. Two energy signatures in total both higher than most in the entire city, meaning that the little brats had arrived. She glanced over her shoulder to see the half breed Princess charging forward with her rat bastard of a brother charging a blast in his hands. It would be useless as Aer Nin had prepared for these two. Aer Nin stepped to the side as Akassa soared through the air. Her power quickly flared up to her maximum, if the Saiyan royals weren't going to hold back why should she. The Cardinal intended to slam the Princess into the ground as her hand wrapped itself in the fabric of the shirt she wore. Just as quickly as the Princess would have been slammed into the ground Aer Nin would violently toss her back through the air towards the door, the Cardinal’s target was none other than her brother. Akassa would hopefully fly through the air and then smash into her brother. Quickly following this Aer Nin’s hand would point towards the roof of the door way. A split second later a ball of energy smashed into the ceiling. A small explosion would proceed that part of the ceiling would come crashing down, either crushing the two royals in the rubble or trapping them outside of the room. Before the debris had finished falling Aer Nin had dashed towards the King and Queen. The Cardinal delivered a well-placed hard kick to the head that sent her flying into the wall. Her body crashed into it with a sickening crack. She fell to the ground in a slumped position. If the reversal of the tackle into the throw was not successful then Aer Nin would step to the side and then attempt to launch a powerful blast into the stomach of Akassa sending her flying into the far wall before turning and firing a volley of blasts at Ninjin and the roof above him with the intention to bring it crashing down around him. She would then dash towards the Queen and deliver that sickening kick to the head. Aer Nin would laugh at the sight and then reach down grabbing Tsuyo by the collar and lifting the massive man with ease until he was just dangling off the ground. “Tsuyo, the might King of Vegeta.” Aer Nin would say with a smile. “How pathetic. To think a simple poison brought you to your knees. Too bad, you won’t know the awful side effects for surviving it. I will make sure you don’t have to suffer.” Her hand would begin to glow red causing bits of Tsuyo’s armor to start to smoulder and smoke. “I will make sure all blasphemers burn for their crimes.” Aer Nin said with a tear starting to run down her face with a sickening smile beneath it.

Blasting towards her target Akassa’s eyes remain fixed on Aer Nin, confident that in seconds the robed attacked would be in pieces. Just about to tackle the elf to the ground the Princess’s Scouter goes off, the signature it had read from the woman starting to sky rocket. Not being prepared for the sudden increase in power didn’t change her plan of attack, the half-saiyan not slowing in the slightest as her arms reach out to wrap around the females waist. Well aware that speed almost always came with more power Akassa knew better than to think her strategy was going to work, but in the very least it would keep the attention from her downed father.
With so much momentum behind her approach Akassa was not able to adjust as Aer stepped to the side, but at least she was able to follow it with her eyes, the female not completely outclassing her in terms of speed. Starting to turn in order to grab at the sidestepping wench Akassa feel’s a hand grab onto the side of her tight shirt before she is slammed down on her side into the ground. With a grunt she starts to reach for the arm that had taken a hold of her only to be lifted from the ground and tossed back the direction she had come. Tumbling through the air Akassa catches a glimpse of her brother charging his attack, quickly figuring out that she was headed straight towards him. Having been so focused on the target in front of her she hadn’t even realized he had arrived. Starting to halt her momentum, pulling up short of her brother, Akassa smirks. Now this woman was done, no one could stand against the combined might of the Hattori family, even without her father being part of the equation.
Able to halt herself in the air she prevents the Hattori on Hattori collision, hopefully not hindering Ninjin’s attack. Forcing herself upright, floating slightly off the tiled floor she gets her bearings just as she hears the explosion overhead. Glancing up Akassa’s eyes widen as the ceiling above her begins to collapse as a direct result of the blast that had just stuck it. Knowing she did not have enough time to clear the immediate area the Princess lifts her arms, throwing a barrier up around her form to give herself as much protection as possible.
Stone and steel slammed down into her as well as the floor around her, a cloud of dust rising up where the ceiling fell. Through her training and life experiences in general the Princess had taken many beatings, a number of which had included her being driven into the ground. Combined with her natural toughness and the Ki barrier surrounding her body she was able to weather the debris quite well, even if she was buried amongst it as the dust began to clear. Hopefully Ninjin had not been caught in it as well, the Princess having obviously lost sight of the room for the moment.
During the Galactic Tournament Akassa had lost, she had failed. Quite soon after that she had lost in a sparring match against Ezekiel and then another against Conri Lane. Following that she had returned home to New Vegeta, training having been the first item on her agenda. As part of that training she had requested a session with her brother, wanting to see if she could fare any better against him than she had in their tournament match. Like before the match ended in disaster when Ninjin had summoned a Moon Ball, forcing Akassa into her Oozaru form…a form she could not control. Ultimately the Prince had been able to get her under control, teaching her how to control the wild animal that resided within her, but what an embarrassment that had been.
Trapped under the rubble of her families own palace Akassa trembled with rage, all these thoughts rushing through her head in the wake of her failed opening assault. Beyond her temporary stone prison her father, the King was in trouble, his very life dependent on the ability and prowess of his children. Having fallen short so many times in recent weeks she was ready to finally live up to not just the expectations of her father, but her own. In this moment of peril Akassa Hattori would not fail her family, would not fail her Kingdom.
With a scream Akassa forces herself to her feet, heaving with all the strength her body posses as she rips herself free of the rubble that had buried her. Shoving off the ground she again utilizes her bukujutsu to lift right into the air, rising up out of the pile, her silver aura still flickering with power around her slender frame. As she rises into the air the Princess channels Ki into both hands to access two staples of her arsenal. Around her left forearm a long strand of Ki begins to form that quickly extends a half a dozen feet past the end of her hand. On the other, her right hand, a Ki gauntlet takes shape that stretches from elbow to fingertips, each digit ending in a sharp talon. Floating above the rubble Akassa’s clawed fingers flex as she accesses the situation before she attacks, confident that Ninjin had not let anything happen to their father.

His sister’s tackle did not go as expected. The female member of The Church of One’s, whoever the hell she was, power sky-rocketed. She grabbed onto Akassa and slammed her into the floor. Ninjin’s eyes were on them the entire time, and though he was outmatched in power by the two he still had a very big role to play in the coming battle, even though it had just started. The red and gold orb in his hands would ensure to that.
Akassa slammed to a halt in mid-air, though Ninjin had already began rolling to the side. The red and gold orb in his hands remained intact throughout the roll, and the prince was careful not to touch it, or let it touch anything. With a twist he finished, launching the orb at the woman standing in the center of the throne room. She was engrossed in launching her attack at the doorway, his attack would launch at the same time. Whether or not the orb hit her he didn’t see. The prince was too busy speeding over to his fallen father.
The ceiling around the door crumbled and locked the combatants within the room. Burying his sister within the rubble. Just before it fell he saw Akassa throw up her force-field but she was quickly battered down and buried within the rubble.
The prince shook his father’s shoulder but the king didn’t rouse. It was clear that he was still alive, but there was no waking him. From the mass amounts of saliva around his mouth Ninjin could conclude that he had been poisoned. The prince looked from the queen to the king and then down at the woman who had been rushing over.
As prepared as the woman was for Ninjin and Akassa, it could too be said that Ninjin was prepared for her. Since he was a youth Ninjin had been fighting people trained their entire lives by the Universal Church of One, just as she had been. It was as if the two were made for this confrontation, each having been trained from birth for battle, and each the others perfect opponents. The crown-prince hadn’t faced a Cardinal yet, and the only person he had fought who even came close to her level of power was Frigid. Still he would overcome this challenge like he had all others.
As the cardinal rushed towards them, Ninjin withdrew a small knife from his pocket and cut his own palm. The blood quickly spread to cover his entire hand and forearm in a gauntlet of blood, similar to Akassa’s own.
“It’s impressive that the Universal Church of One would be bold enough to attack us at our home, but it was a foolish mistake you won’t live to repeat. Every one of your soldiers that set foot here will die, and then the Saiyans will take down your church once and for all. I’ve had enough of you.”
Ninjin braced himself for whatever was about to happen with the cardinal, but he wasn’t going to let anything happen to his father or mother.

Purity, it is what the Universal Church of One strives for. It is then mandate that only pure races can exist in the universe because anything less than that was an assault to the Lord Aon’s plans. This lesson was ingrained into the minds of all the young followers located in the orphanage. It was this lesson that drove Aer Nin to strive for the utmost purity she could in her life. She each took to a level many found to be strange and obsessive. She would often separate her food so that it did not touch anything else to make sure it was not corrupted. Unlike what many thought about the Universal Church of One it was not just Saiyans that they wished to rid the universe of. She learned that half breeds of different races were bastards of the devils that Aon casted out of his palace when they turned on him. There were also parasitic creatures skulking in the shadows such as vampires. They would sap the pure of their strength and devour their flesh. Creatures like vampires, half breeds and Saiyans did not belong in the universe, they must be purged. *** The ceiling above the half breed princess came crashing down in a heap of smoke and rubble. Much to her surprise though the arrogant prick of a prince managed to not only avoid the collapsing the ceiling but also to maintain his charging blast throughout the move. Impressive for a filthy monkey. When Aer Nin went to dash forward to the King and Queen she was surprised by the blast that Ninjin had been charging. It soared through the air with a hissing sound. Normally such a thing would not warrant her attention but it certainly caught her off guard. Planting her foot her left hand began to glow a bright orange hue causing heat waves to emanate through the air from her fingers. Only the pure could learn this technique in order to smite heretics, or so Aer Nin proclaimed. The blast slammed into her hand causing her to slide a short period across the floor as the blast seemed to shoot off smoke as it spun in her palm. Digging her heel into the ground she closed her hand around the blast and through it past where the King and Queen were and into the throne causing it to explode into thousands of little pieces. As her hand returned to its normal color her eyes fell on the place where she had been trying to maneuver to, Ninjin now stood in between the Cardinal and her target. Her ears twitched as the half breed princess emerged from the rubble in dramatic fashion. Figures that heretics would not accept their blasphemy with dignity. It was then that Ninjin produced a small dagger and sliced open his hand. The blood that flowed from it then seemed to morph into a gauntlet around his hand. While impressive it also appeared to draw on quite a bit of his blood, Aer Nin severely doubted that he would be able to do techniques like that in great numbers otherwise he would die from blood loss. A small laugh danced out of the beautiful Cardinal’s lips. As the laugh echoed throughout the chamber, blasts from the various androids she had brought could be heard softly through the walls. A small neon blue tear appeared at the corner of her eye as it began to run down her impeccable face. “The fact that the prince of the heretical monkeys is a parasite as well is just too perfect.” She cackled. “You just prove to be more damned by Aon in each passing moment of being in my graceful presence. Tell me Natisha did you know that your son is now a parasite? That he has walked in the shadows and corrupted that pathetic body of his? Or did he not tell you or Tsuyo? Would you accept that vile corrupted son of yours on the throne?” She asked. At first Natisha was surprised that the Cardinal was now speaking with her instead of attacking her. But it was after she finished her sentence that she looked down at the gauntlet of blood that surrounded her son’s hand. Something deep down in the pit of her stomach told her that it was not natural and that her son had committed something very grievous in doing whatever he did. Unfortunately she could not pick and choose what help she received at the current moment even that of the half breed daughter of her husband. However after everything was said and done both herself and Tsuyo would have to have a long discussion with Ninjin over this, if they survived of course. “I am guessing by the look on your face. He didn’t. How precious. Oh well, none of my problem. It won’t matter much when you are all dead anyways.” She said with a laugh. Aer Nin brought her hand up in front of her face. Energy began to gather in her palm until it was a decent level, one that Aer Nin found acceptable. She then flipped her hand around and sank down into a slightly lower stance as she fired the energy from her hand. However it was not at any of the people in the room. Rather it was directly at the wall to her right, she then rotated quickly while maintaining the energy in a complete circle before coming to a stop. This sequence would take but a second to complete and she doubted either would be expecting this move. The energy beam cut through the walls of the throne room like if it was made of paper. When the energy beam ceased there was a brief moment when the entire room was silent. That was brought to an end as the top of the throne room dropped down violently causing the walls to start to collapse and the ceiling to break apart. She was not worried about her own safety as something like this would never be able to kill her but it would certainly kill a wounded King. The two royal children would only have a few seconds to decide what they were going to do. Were they going to save themselves or were they going to try and save the King and Queen. While the Queen might survive, it would certainly injure her severely, it would certainly kill Tsuyo. And due to the mass of that was coming down on their heads a simple blast would not be able to save them. “Heretics do not deserve false thrones. They only deserve to be buried beneath their fool creations.” Aer Nin said confidently. She would be ready for anything that was about to happen.

Ripping free off the rubble Akassa smirks as she observes Ninjin’s blast reaching the wench. The reading from her scouter confirmed what the Princess thought, her brother had charged up the blast before launching it. This woman had poisoned their father, damaged their palace and presumably orchestrated the attack on New Vegeta, but her time had already come to an end. As impressive as always her brother had poured energy into the blast and it would be enough to overwhelm the elf who seemed so shocked she had not yet moved. With no need for her to attack Akassa deactivates her whip and gauntlet, confident that this “fight” was already over. Deception and lies could only get a individual so far before being found out, it seemed that would be in the eulogy of this woman…if anyone cared to give her one. Off to her side, somewhere in the palace a power signature spiked to 25,000…one she did not recognize. Whatever it was the Princess would tend to it once she made sure the King was safe.
Only when the blast struck the woman’s hand and slid her across the floor did she notice the glowing hand. Eyes widening some, Akassa watches in shock as the forward momentum of the attack is halted, the energy swirling in the woman’s open palm as she shifts and sends it towards the throne. The King’s throne, a symbol of the royal family explodes into pieces as the blast strikes it. Jaw clenching the Princess’s brings her attention back to this woman, this transgressor that continued to assault the royal family and everything they stood for. Everything this elf did promised that her demise would be that much more painful, Akassa planned to make her suffer for what she had done to her home.
In the air still Akassa starts to gather Ki into both of her hands, ready to assault the woman for a second time when her strange words give her pause. Parasite, what was she talking about? At first the Princess thought it was just another term the elf decided to label the Saiyan race that she held so much disdain for, but the second part of her statement is what truly gave the half-saiyan pause. How could Natisha not know he was a Saiyan? Not one to hesitate long the Princesses pushes it from her mind. On top of that why did she listen to anything that came from this one’s mouth? The female was obviously not a rational creature and nothing she said should be taken with any credit.
No sooner had the girl finished talking did she drop into a stance, energy gathering into her hand before she spun, unleashing it as she did. Unlike a normal blast the beam of energy was continuous as it cut through the sides of the main chamber with ease. Glancing up Akassa knew what was going to happen next, the structure simply could not hand that sort of damage without critical collapse. Like Aer Nin the half-saiyan Princess was not worried about what the falling stone and steel would do to her, but what it might do to her wounded father. As the room starts to collapse inwards she glances once to Ninjin and the rest of her family, sure he was going to keep them safe. That meant for the time being this woman was hers to deal with.
Not fearing the stone that fell for her head Akassa flies up, forearms crossed in front of her face to protect it as she forces herself through. That combined with the Ki barrier she implements around her form was enough to allow her to burst through, little damage taken as she now floats above where the roof used to be. Before she had risen up into the air the Princess had taken note of where the girl was. With Ki still flowing into her arms she no longer holds back. Having to trust that Ninjin had the King and Queen safe she puts all her focus on the target before her.
Pulling back her right arm she sends a blast down towards where the woman had been standing, shooting it through the dust and rubble. Quickly following the blast from the right hand was one from the left, and then the right once more. Continuing the barrage it was what was known as her Super Energy Volley, the individual blasts powerful, but the real power behind the technique was the quantity and combined explosions they created. Letting her anger out in a scream as well as the attack, Akassa does not let up. Blast after blast would rain down on the spot the woman had been in the Princess not having seen her rise out of the rubble.
Up until this point the woman had been trying to get to the King and Queen, doing her best to avoid the two Hattori children. Now out in the open and with Akassa’s full attention on her the girl would need to defend herself. Then once Ninjin got Tsuyo and Natisha to a safe place the fight would truly begin. Ninjin and Akassa rarely fought together in situations like this, but their training sessions had taught the other how their sibling fought. Combining the power they both posses the eldest Hattori children would defeat this foe.

His parents were safe. Well at least as safe as a poisoned king could be, but Ninjin had reached them in time and this bitch from the Church of One was about to die, a blast of power stronger than anything the prince had ever seen racing towards her, its only designed purpose to obliterate her. And it would do its job well. Ninjin glanced down at his mother and smiled, he had done it. He had saved the day. They would be so proud of him. They might even throw a parade, well, once all the cleaning up was done. They certainly had made a mess…
And that’s when the plan backfired. The woman stood her ground and held firm, both impressing and amusing the Saiyan. She would die badly. Then suddenly her hand started to glow with a mysterious light. Unbelievingly, Ninjin watched as she halted the momentum of the blast. The crown-prince’s jaw went slack as he was filled with a momentary sense of dread. If this woman was able to stop a blast of that power without even feeling it, how powerful was she truly? It shouldn’t have been possible, and yet he had just witnessed it. She planted her foot, and to his horror she threw the blast back towards them, but past. A horrific sound thundered through the room, and he turned to see chunks of debris falling and smoke rising up from where his father’s throne once stood.
With a snarl of rage the prince turned back towards the woman. The throne had been in their family for generations, since the very first Hattori had ascended the steps before it and taken his rightful place. It was a symbol of the strength of the Saiyan people, and she had destroyed it. She would die terribly within the halls of their kingdom, and with her bones a new throne would be built. All of the Universal Church of One members would die.
Her comments abated his fury momentarily. Parasite? She had clearly recognized the Iblisian blood technique, she must have known Malice and his people, few though they were. Knowledge of the Iblisians was known to few, Lilliana and Malice themselves had told him that. Still it was a certainty she knew Malice. The woman addressed his mother about it, and the Saiyan woman looked confused.
The whole thing nearly made Ninjin laugh, and were he not so full of rage towards the woman he would have. It was going to make things easier to hide from his mother and father. Why in the world would they believe anything this woman said? She had lied to them their entire time knowing her, was a member of a group that hated and killed Saiyans, had just poisoned the king, and was a Cardinal in the Universal Church of One. If anything her pointing out that he was a “parasite” would make it that much easier to hide. How easy it would be to explain that it was magic. They had seen Kosho do magic in their presence before, and had witnessed it in wide variety on Omega in the tournament. No matter, he would deal with that once the time came.
The woman began charging a ball of ki in her hand, and Ninjin began to do the same, ready for whatever she was about to do. Or so he thought. Her beam cut through the walls like a hot knife slicing through flesh. Like calm before the storm the room was deadly quiet as the building decided whether or not to fall. It eventually decided that yes, it would like to collapse, having the support ripped out from under it. As the roof began to collapse Ninjin glanced towards his sister, met her eye and nodded. His father could not take that much debris falling on him in his state, and though little harm would come to Ninjin at his current power he could not allow his father to die.
With the blast that had been holding in his hand the prince fired upwards burning away at the largest chunk that fell. His hands fired off blast after blast and though they were not particularly strong, they had within them the force to explode the smaller chunks of roof and push the heavier ones out of the path of the king and queen. A massive piece fell towards them like a meteor, and Ninjin rose up to catch it. With it he shielded his father and mother from the rest.
The night air of the moon nipped at his skin as the breeze was allowed uninhibited into where the throne room once stood. He turned towards his mother.
“We need to get father somewhere safe so Akassa and I can concentrate on fighting her.” Ninjin would stay by them and protect them as they flew away, helping his mother carry his father if need be. Once he was certain they were in a safe place he would return to the debris of the throne room, where his sister and the UCOO woman would no doubt be locked in combat.

Training for the Universal Church of One was not like training for a tournament fight. The training routine for the majority of clergy in the Universal Church of One was the studying of the sacred literature and engaging in rigorous religious debate on the state of the universe. They were taught different languages as they were selected on where they would perform their missions. Those that displayed being blessed by the light of Aon though received more training. At first it would be more literature however if they continued to show the blessing they would be trained in combat. Those were the members of the Inquisition. Aer Nin took her time there a gift from her most glorious creator. She took pride in the fact that there had only been one heretic that had ever been able to lay a finger on her ever in battle, and he would not live out the rest of the day to tell of it. Aer Nin was a combat expert. *** The roof came down like the wrath of Aon on the Saiyans. The intent had been to bury the blasphemous royal family beneath the rubble she knew that it was a long shot that the plan would actually work. Rather it was more of a way to deal a psychological blow to the pathetic monkeys not only here but in the rest of the city, knowing that the throne room of the once mighty Tsuyo sat in was no more. The Hattori children may not have noticed but they were losing the battle, not just for their lives but for the morale of the Saiyan race. The invasion fleet waited a simple command from the Cardinal before they showed up in Saiyan space ready to eliminate these creatures from the universe once again. This though could not happen until the King was dead. While the Saiyans would be vastly outnumbered, if the king still lived then they would fight like ten beasts, this was an unacceptable outcome. He needed to die. She seemed to disappear from where she was standing before suddenly appearing above the rubble. She had not teleported but rather moved so fast that the normal eye would not be able to pick up her movements. It was one reason why her enemies had never been able to lay a hand on her. She looked down with a smile as the Saiyan prince struggled to protect his father from the debris. How futile. It was during this observation that the Cardinal had forgotten about the Princess. She had begun firing dozens of blasts at the Cardinal. Instantly Aer Nin was engulfed in explosions as the half breed tried to kill her. As the dust settled though she had not been killed, rather only pissed off. Her clothes had been somewhat ripped by the explosions and the gathering energy in each of her hands she would return the favor back at the half breed. The first blast ripped through the air and would hopefully explode just in front of Akassa’s face. It would be quickly followed by another, then another, and another until she was firing dozens of blasts that would consume her. Even if she began to move away the blasts would continue to follow, Aer Nin was not going to let her get away. However as the blasts were going off, every once and a while a stray blast would fly off into the distance damaging the palace more. There was more than one battle happening right now, and she was going to win both. After finishing the barrage of ki blasts that was aimed at Akassa Aer Nin would turn back to the direction of where the monkey prince was trying to defend his parents. She would bring her hands back to her waist and begin charging a ball of ki. She was going to either blast the half breed to kingdom come if she was stupid enough to come back for more or obliterate the King and the Queen. “I will not be touched by a fucking heretic and let them live to talk about it,” Aer Nin growled as the power radiated in her hands. Throwing blast after blast down at her target Akassa felt the strain on her body that came with such exertion. It was far from her limit, but the Princess knew that she should not press this particular technique for long due to how much Ki she had already begun to use. Anger fueled her, anger at her recent failures, anger at the attacks that now plagued her beloved city and anger at this woman that so eagerly assaulted her family and home. After several long seconds of launching her attacks Akassa abruptly stops, looking down at the dust cloud below that enveloped her target. The explosions from all of her blasts had thrown even more dirt and powered stone into air, obscuring her view for a moment.
Floating in the air for no more than two seconds it felt like an eternity to the female. Off to her right, near where she had just read that first power signature moments before two more spiked. Akassa knew these signatures though as they were that of her younger brother Leke and Celeh, her retainer. If not so preoccupied the Princess would have smiled as they met whatever foe it was that had accompanied this wench to her home. Based off what her scouter was currently reading the two possessed the strength to handle the foe with ease. As the second instant ticked by Akassa felt a bead of sweat roll down her cheek, mixing with the dirt that now covered her face. Although the fight had just begun the half-saiyan was already a mess, her short burial under the rubble having covered her in dirt and dust. Her thick black locks that were usually immaculate were disheveled and dirty, no longer tucked away on one side of her head. Blinking some sweat away from her eyes Akassa saw something in the dust.
What came from the cloud, blasting what was left of it away was not the staggering form the Princess had been hoping for. Aer Nin had taken some damage from the barrage, but it was nothing substantial. The woman’s clothing was torn and no longer as perfectly clean as it had been, but beyond that she seemed fine. More than fine actually, the witch throwing her own Ki attack back up at the Akassa. It appeared she had not done much damage to the attacker, but it had proved she was not invincible. Like Aer Nin before her the Princess holds her ground as multiple shots are sent her way, the attack seeming very similar to the one she had just launched herself.
Bringing her arms up in front of her, crossing them over her chest Akassa tucks her head as a Ki barrier slips over her body. Her opponent was stronger than her so the half-saiyan could not handle the blasts as well, the barrier put in place to assist her through it. Multiple blasts slammed into her, striking her all over her body before detonating, others simply detonating as they were caught up in previous explosions. Grunting with a couple of hits Akassa takes almost all of them, weathering the storm like a true warrior. As suddenly as the barrage had begun it ended, the Princess taking several seconds to gather herself as the area cleared, her eyes blinking to readjust after so many bright flashes.
When her vision finally clears she realizes that she had been pushed several yards back through the attack, the impact of the blows having enough force to move her floating form. Below her the woman had turned her attention in the direction the majority of her family had been in moments before. Still trusting Ninjin to take care of them she doesn’t even look over, her eyes not shifting off the woman. In similar shape to Aer Nin the Princess was more than ready to continue and seeing the Ki charging into the woman’s hands she did not plan to let her get such an attack off.
With a burst of speed she charges forward, rushing right towards the woman. Charging head on she does not even pull an arm back to prepare an attack, looking as if she was going to slam right into her target. Normally that would be a logical conclusion to anyone watching her fight, but Akassa had been training recently and learning new techniques. Wanting to be more rounded after her recent losses she employs her Zanzoken as she gets close. Several feet from the woman she seems to disappear, only to reappear off to the females other side, her left foot planted on the ground. The princess’s right leg snaps around, looking to roundhouse kick the elf right alongside her angular face. Undeniably pretty, Akassa wondered how she might look after taking a boot to the side of the head.

Two Seconds. That’s all it took for Ninjin to realize his mother was in shock and didn’t hear him, grab the back of his father’s shirt and fly off away from the battle. The blasts his sister was shooting down at the Universal Church of One woman kicked up dust and debris as they exploded violently against the ground. The crown-prince looked back and saw the woman engulfed by the explosions. He didn’t need to get far with his father, just far enough to get him away from this crazy woman.
It hadn’t been a good day. He was awoken just to find out the palace was under attack and his father was perhaps dying. One would think that would make a crown-prince happy, as taking the throne was all but a certainty. But it didn’t. It made Ninjin nothing but angry. Holding his father in his arms he snarled with rage at the Universal Church of One. His life had been peppered with series of attacks by the Universal Church of One. It stopped now. It stopped with the death of this woman and then? Then they would mount a massive assault on every single church.
The prince hoped his mother was behind him, and the Cardinal wasn’t, but the most important thing right now was getting his weakened father to safety. The Cardinal had Akassa to worry about, and his mother…? Well he would have to go back for her if need be. The prince spotted a group of two individuals standing next to a large door. The door led further into the interior of the palace, areas including the royal bedchambers. Ninjin landed and placed his father gently down then raised both hands at the men. It was a very threatening gesture, and it probably took the two middle aged gentlemen by surprise.
“The code. Now.” He barked the order at them, and the two looked panicked at each other momentarily. Of course Ninjin recognized them, Tul and Dow had been royal guards at the palace since Ninjin had been a little boy. He scanned their power-level and they both checked out as familiar, but who knew how deep the rabbit hole went? The Cardinal was a diplomat that had been coming to New Vegeta for months if not years. Tul stepped forward and snapped a salute. Dow mimicked the gesture to a t.
“The code is; New Moon.” As he said it Ninjin lowered his arms. The men visibly relaxed. It was not a time for such a relaxed nature. There was a war going on around them.
“The King has been poisoned. Your new task is to protect him with your life. Only you two are to be near the king at any time, save the queen and the royal family. Get him far away. To Earth if you have to. Ensure that he stays safe.” With the King safely in the arms of the two royal guard men, Ninjin rose into the air and blasted back towards the crumbled throne room.
As he zoomed back, the cardinal was pointing a freshly charged ball of energy straight in his direction. It was certainly not the type of thing he was hoping to have seen. Out of the corner of his eye he caught movement, and as his eyes traced it he realized it was his sister. Akassa was barreling towards the Universal Church of One woman. Ninjin waited for the impact but it never came. Confusedly his sister stopped moving right in front of the woman, and the prince let out a slight gasp as she reappeared on the other side, aiming a kick right for the woman’s face.
Ninjin had to act as well. He held his hand out in front of him and a ball of ki formed within it. Blood began to trickle through the air from the cut he had on his hand. He poured his energy into it, ready to fire it at the woman as soon as his sister got out of the way.

Aer Nin had had enough. The half breed Saiyan monkey had stalled her long enough from what her actual goal was, to make sure that the King ended up dead. When she turned back both that prick of a prince and the King were far beyond her reach now. She could see the wake of his flight path but it was disappearing far too quickly for her to follow. At this fact she cursed under her breath, these royal brats were starting to get on her nerves. As her eyes drifted downwards towards the horizon she still saw the Queen flying in the opposite direction. She must have been in so much shock that she had not followed her husband immediately.
“At least I can still claim you as a trophy for now then…” Aer Nin stated with a hint of sadistic enjoyment in her voice. She began to turn the blast towards her when she heard the half breed charging straight forward for her. If she was going to make the fool mistake of charging back directly at her then she was going to pay with a charged blast to the stomach. She would have her internal organs shot out the other side of her chest thus ending her pitiful life. That half breed, Akassa Hatttori, has lived such a hard life. Hated by her “mother”, ignored by her father and having to bow to that fool of a brother Aer Nin had watched this for months. The half breed was even stronger and yet she didn’t receive more respect, Aer Nin never understood heretics.
Before Aer Nin could turn towards Akassa in order to fire off her blast the half breed princess disappeared. This caught Aer Nin off guard causing her eyes to go wide. She heard the princess before she saw her. Akassa appeared just behind the Cardinal of the Church of One. There was no way she would have time to turn and launch the blast at the half breed. No, she would have to settle for a much less defended target.
As the kick began to hurl through the air towards the Cardinal’s head she launched the blast from her hands towards the Queen. It would whistle through the air until detonating just off to the right of the Queen. Natisha would never see it coming as the resulting explosion blinded her, the Queen was far from a push over but she was also no fighter and as such fighting did not come naturally to her. So a blast like that was far beyond her capability. She was flung violently through the air causing her scrap across the ground like a pinball until she smashed through a wall and came to an abrupt halt as her body wrapped around a metal beam stinking out of the ground. Left unattended the Queen faced a mild chance of death, but it was far from satisfactory.
The kick smashed into Aer Nin’s head causing her face to snap to her right. It was her penance for letting her guard down. She stumbled backwards as a small cut formed from where the kick had caught her face. Using her own momentum though she twist on one of her legs in order to throw a back kick that would put her head at quite a distance if the attack hit it would knock the air out of her lungs. In case she blocked the attack Aer Nin would leap into the air and perform a spinning head kick using her other leg if it landed it would no doubt disorientate the Saiyan Princess. However regardless of the outcome Aer Nin would drive forward throwing a hard knee towards the stomach of the princess, and then would quickly follow that with a knee to just below her chin using her other leg. The attack would first set up for the other and then the final knee strike would launch Akassa high into the air. Once in the air Aer Nin would launch forward with incredible speed wrapping her arms around Akassa’s waist driving her higher into the air before tilting the Saiyan princess back towards the ground. Once tilted at that angle Aer Nin would pull a trick out of the princess’ book and Zanzoken. However instead of pushing her into the air the Cardinal of the Universal Church of One would drive the half breed straight into the ground with the increased speed. The resulting landing would no doubt create quite a blast radius.

Her maneuver worked perfectly, the Princess’ foot slamming hard into the side of the woman’s head. The blast she had been charging was launched with enough haste to prevent the impact of the kick from disrupting it, but the violent way the girl’s head snapped to the side an obvious indicator the blow hand connected fully. Akassa could not see the small cut yet, her foot having broken the skin of this elf proving even further that she was far from invincible despite her ability to handle the first several attacks that had been launched at her. Using the momentum generated from her kick Akassa completes a full turn before planting the attacking leg back down as well as Aer Nin was already in the midst of a counter attack.
The back kick was quick; the foot sailing in for the Princess’s stomach, but Akassa was fast as well as both of her forearms drop down to cross. The X created by her defending arms takes the kick, sliding her back a couple inches as it saves her stomach from the blow. With her arms down low from blocking the first attack she is not able to bring them back up as a spin kick follows it, the attack very similar to the one she had just landed. The Half-Saiyan’s head snaps to the side in similar fashion as the kick connects, that blow packing enough force to stagger the girl. Resilient as ever Akassa was already starting to reposition her feet to better face her foe when a knee slams hard into her stomach. An audible “oomph” comes from the Princess as air is forced from her lungs, the hit causing her to double over slightly.
Less than half a second later it became obvious that had been the woman’s intentions, a second knee striking up hard under Akassa’s chin. Slightly disorientated and gasping for air she is launched into the air after her head snaps back. Lifting off the ground a coppery taste fills her mouth, the blood she could taste a result of her teeth slamming shut along the inside of her cheek. A superficial wound really, the pain from the cut paled in comparison to the throbbing in her jaw. Unsure if any assistance would come from Ninjin she would keep the mentality that she was on her own. The blast that Aer Nin had gathered moments before had launched into the distance, if it had hit Ninjin or any other target Akassa was unsure.
Attempting to halt her upward momentum Akassa feels the girls arms wrap around her waist. An instant later she was no longer upright in the air, her back instead directed down towards the ground. Still sucking a bit of wind the Princess grabs at her attacker, both of her hands clutching the female as the two drop back to the ground. Knowing Zanzoken herself Akassa recognized the technique as it’s used, her eyes widening slightly as the woman utilized the ability to slam her into the floor with even more force. Still if Akassa was going to hit so was Aer Nin. Not letting go the royal half-saiyan does her best to ride it out. Slamming into the tile floor of what was left of the throne room she feels the ground break apart below her. Tile and stone blast away from the impact point, a relatively large crater created as the two drive down.
Even as they hit the ground, pain spiking down the Princess’s back she does not let go of her attacker. Clutching the woman to her after they hit the ground Akassa lets out a groan, taking a second to gather herself before speaking, her teeth a mixture of white and red.
”Clever….but you would have been wise to get away from me…”
Gripping the back of the woman’s robe with her left hand Akassa releases her right. Pulling it up slightly, she quickly forms her Ki gauntlet around her arm once more. It would only take a second and with her other hand holding the female close there would be little options for Aer Nin if she wished to avoid the five talon tipped fingers that were now descending towards her open back. If they were to connect cleanly her bladed fingers would easily be able to rip through the woman’s clothing and tissue, possibly digging in deep.
