An assassin was about and lurching in the shadows of the army. It was not surprising if the Universal Church of one was ready to employ such tactics before to end the Saiyan King and avoid the decimation that would be wrought by the full strength Saiyan King. Despite Tsuyo’s anger at the Church for daring to use such tactics he had to admit it was good strategy. In war if you cannot match someone with pure might then you do with cunning. The Church could not trade blows with the Saiyan King directly and as such they decided to remove him from the equation entirely. While it proved to be futile he had to give them an A for effort. As for his wife’s lack of ability to hide her pleasure of seeing his lone recognized daughter’s pain. He was interested in seeing how his wife would be able to talk her way out of this one.
Natisha had not been able to hold back her joy and as such would have to explain her actions but it was not the first time that she had been caught in an unfortunate situation. Without so much as a pause or stammer the Queen addressed Akassa directly. “No I am not happy to see the city burning. To see the palace that housed our great family for centuries lying as nothing more than a wasteland is a nightmare that none of us should have to endure. What I am smiling about is the fact that you live. Maimed yes, but you still live. You were able to tear that woman’s head off and make her regret ever coming to New Vegeta!” Natisha said as she stepped forward letting her rage boil to the surface. If she was going to sell this lie she was going to let herself lose her composure a bit. “I smile because I see the rage that we all share! The rage that is going to allow you to carry the banner of victory under Ninjin’s command against our enemies!” Each sentence carried more volume and more anger. “I smile because I know that the Universal Church of One is going to be obliterated by the might of the Saiyan race! I do not smile over the loss of our civilians!! I smile because of the death we will rein upon their foolish followers! I smile for the head of their beloved leader to be placed at your father’s feet! Do not mistake my rage for some form of twisted satisfaction at your misery!” The Queen finished as she slammed her fist upon the table in the center of the table. She would hold this moment for a bit to milk it until she carefully reigned back in her emotions and straightened her dress. She would hold her tongue until the next statement as she tamed her rage once again.

The plan started to take shape as the others at the table either took note of the fact an assassin could be in their midst or tried to come up with what the assassin may do next as to counteract his maneuvers and oust him. Celeh, on the other hand, tried to figure out why Akassa suddenly had another outburst. The Princess seemed to be calling out the Queen on smiling over something. As Celeh's gaze shifted across the table to Natisha, it became very clear to her what a clever ruse that the Queen was putting up for all their guests. At the very least, she was trying to put up a ruse. The soldier kept calm and took a deep breath, sighing as Natisha continued on her 'speech'. She kept quiet and let things blow over, not buying that facade for even a second. She'd only spoken directly with the Queen a few times, but those few times were enough to tell her that Natisha wasn't the sort of woman to put her emotions on display at any point. To do so would show weaknesses in her deceptiveness and otherwise unreadable intent. This show of emotion was a lie, albeit a very skillfully executed one.
Celeh didn't feel herself in a position to say much after that rousing speech. She nodded to the Queen, "Well said, your majesty. I'm sure the King shares your sentiments in that regard. Our enemies will meet a swift end. If anything at all is assured by this gathering of warriors, it must be that." Celeh's tone wasn't sarcastic in the slightest. She did empathize and agree with the Queen's words on many levels. But the Queen herself only said those words as a cover up, which made Celeh quite angry. The soldier had much experience in the way of discipline, however, and the only one here who had seen her let her emotions get the better of her was Akassa, and that had only happened once...

Zeke’s voice in his head showed that other people had seen the smile too and shared a very similar opinion of the woman. Akassa’s reaction however showed not everyone would take the insult sitting down. Overall he agreed with the princess but he wasn’t in a position to say anything. Looking around he was surrounded by royalty, and guards. Hell screaming at the Queen even seemed like a bold move for Akassa. However the Queen responded immediately in kind, yelling right back at her maybe this was how the royal family communicated?
The Queen’s comeback however didn’t seem to make sense to him. Why would she be smiling for revenge they hadn’t achieved yet when so many are already dead? Even as a siayan you don’t smile in fury? Something was definitely wrong here, but again he couldn’t really call her out on it. He’d have to hope Leke, Ninjin, or Akassa said something instead. Still he was pissed that she would smile like that and then lie to try and cover her own tracks take responsibility for your actions and own up to being a dick. Was this really how Akassa was treated? He had always thought as a publicly recognized bastard of Tsuyo her life would be better but it seems there was no love lost between her and Natisha.
The guard Celeh seemed to believe Natisha or at least tried to push them past the outburst and back to the matter at hand of dealing with the Church. Still Nasu couldn’t get over the two yelling at each other, it was then he remembered Zeke had spoken in his own mind moments before and maybe he was still listening?
“Lying bitch.” he thought hoping his friend was still listening so he could at least vent a bit. “Does she actually think anyone is going to believe that story?”

With a flash, Zeke's blade would draw and slash out at the Queen at a speed faster than anyone in the room could see. The strike would sever the woman's arm at the shoulder and send her slamming through the tent and into a stone pillar across what was once a grand throne room.
A vision, that is. Zeke's desire at this point. In reality, the black clad Saiyan just stares with an angry glare at the woman as she plants her fist into the table. Zeke does not even touch the handle of his blade. As much as he wanted to make her share the same fate as Akassa, there was no way he could actually do that in front of all these people; many of them had strong attachments to the Queen, even if she was a lying bitch. Zeke would close his eyes as he heard Nasu's words in his mind. Zeke was the only one in the room apart from Akassa that could verify her lies one-hundred percent. Akassa due to life long exposure to it, and Zeke due to his Telepathy.
She was so weak that it was almost comical. To invade the mind of an equally powerful person and remain undetected would usually require alot of focus and a good amount of energy. But for Natisha it was like looking through a window. He easily invaded her mind and seen it all. Panic, then plotting. Utilizing the situation at hand and the pride of their race to back her argument. Assumption, as her family would never question her words, and that the others would either know their place or be stupid enough to believe her.
He thought back to Nasu. Her family will likely believe her. The rest of us will either keep quiet if we know whats best, or stupidly fall for her lies. That's what she believes, anyway. I'm curious as to what she actually did as the Church attacked her and the King directly...
Zeke crossed his arms. There was no way in hell... that he could just stand there and let this happen. But he also couldn't call her out directly without negative attention from the Royals. He knew exactly how he would let the woman know that he was on to her without alerting the others. Like her... he would use the matter at hand.
"I agree with this lady." Zeke said, looking in Celeh's direction. He had no idea who she was, but she must be one of their foremost Elite guards or troops to be here. That Zeke respected. "A fine speech indeed." He would force himself to say.
Zeke would then uncross his arms and look around the room at the others, stopping on Ninjin whom he considered the head of this meeting over Natisha. He knew he outranked Akassa, though he'd rather be speaking to her. But even if Ninjin was under her rank, she was not in a good emotional mindset right now.
"And as for the plan, it seems we are limited to one of two options; We wait to see if this Assassin flees the moon and we track him, or we capture him before his attempt at fleeing or as he tries to strike again, and we interrogate him." He explained. "Of course interrogation would seem almost pointless. We could threaten and torture the man ruthlessly and get nowhere. But information is easy to acquire from a weak minded individual. This Assassin... he wouldn't even know that I was in his mind, almost as if I were reading his true thoughts and feelings with ease. I am very well trained in that department." He would explain. He would not give his Telepathic ability away to them quite yet...
Zeke would then look over to Natisha Hattori with a smile, almost like he was calm and respectful. ... After all, m'lady, nobody can bullshit a Telepath! He would inform her through thought, shooting the image of what his real expression should look like into her mind; Zeke looking at her with dagger like eyes and an evil, almost murderous grin on his face. It's not like she could call him out on this one. What is she gonna do to prove that he was putting his own true thoughts and feelings into her mind? She may even think he actually said it to him and voice a verbal counter... oh how humorous that would be! The only ones here aware of Zeke's ability were Nasu and Akassa...

Celeh being a good soldier agreed with her Queen as she should, even the Queen’s savior Nasu Nun agreed with her. But try as the boy might he could not hide the disgust that twanged in his heart at Natisha’s act. Let them think what they want but as long as they fell in line it would not matter. Natisha however was startled when she felt a new presence surge into her mind. It searched her thoughts like a lost child looking for its mother. She could only assume that this new presence had seen through the legitimate rage that was within her mind to find the lie. Natisha could only imagine what looked like panic for being put on the spot was actually a perverted sense of excitement. Her eyes searched the room until they fell on Zeke Necross, that smug look on his face was rather amusing. He actually thought he had a leg up on the Queen. His eyes shot knives at the woman but she stood there completely unfazed. Even when he shot images of what he truly wanted to do to her into her own mind she stood there with a content smile while her eyes continued to scan the room. He did not intimidate her. There was nothing he could do that would.
... After all, m'lady, nobody can bullshit a Telepath! Necross thought with the utmost pride for getting within her mind. Natisha did not react one bit to the comment. She was not sure if the lack of reaction would be enough to piss off NeCross out of disrespect for him but she did have something special prepared for moments like this.
‘You’re a telepath? How cute.’ Was the only thing that Zeke would hear. Then almost immediately he would no longer be able to read her mind. The Queen and the King had prepared for moments when dealing with telepaths, if they hadn't then they were fools. They knew that that with enough focus a telepath could no longer penetrate the mind. In this particular case that was all the Queen had to do. With a quick burst of focus she no longer felt NeCross's influence within her mind and knew that he would no longer be able to return now that she was aware of it.
Tsuyo could feel something was off in the room as he watched his wife and then it dawned on him what she was probably dealing with. Something was happening that he could not see what that was though he was not sure. Whatever it was he was going to have to figure it out at some point. He knew his wife was more than capable of dealing with whatever was going on. She was one of the strongest mental warriors he had ever met, and she could dance circles around those that were gathered here. If Zeke made the unfortunate choice of trying to contact Tsuyo telepathically he would only be greeted by the pain that ran through his body from the poison, the sadness of seeing his kingdom in ruins and the anger of how the attack was delivered.

Telepathy and power-masking? This thing was more of a threat than he had originally thought. Those powers could give him the run of New Vegeta, getting into the minds of guards and their whereabouts, not giving off a power when being scanned for and invisible as well? That would make this man even harder to locate. But this was New Vegeta, their home, and in their anger none could hide from the Saiyans.
His sister did not let the smile drop as the others had. Anger was evident on Akassa Hattori’s face. She hadn’t been listening to anything anyone said, her eyes boring holes into the Queen. It was enough for the Eldest Hattori child. She had taken all she could take from his mother the queen, and let loose with her words, etiquette and respect for the council all but forgotten. Her words no doubt bit into the queen, and unexpected retort from one with a past of being obedient.
The sparks of anger began to build in the crown prince of the Saiyans. This was not why the war council was called. His mother quickly began into a speech. The reaction time of his mother impressed him but he saw through. The woman even turned the accusation around at the end, but anyone who had ever witnessed the interactions between Akassa and Natisha would know it to be false. The queen had only ever been cold towards his sister, she had even brainwashed Ninjin to dislike his sister as well.
Ninjin ground his teeth. This war council would not deteriorate into a cat-fight between his mother and Akassa. The Church was the enemy! Not each other. Akassa had lost a limb, but she was lucky. There were those that had paid a much higher price than that. She would get to enact her revenge, those that died? That was up to the War Council and the rest of the Saiyan military.
Celeh attempted to bring the conversation back around, and Ninjin was grateful for that. She was a good soldier and intelligent. No doubt the princesses bodyguard saw through the thin veneer of what was really happening. Nasu said nothing and looked on. Zeke glared at the queen, but agreed with Celeh. His eyes scanned the room before stopping on Ninjin. The black clad Saiyan laid out his thoughts. He said something that interested him as well. He could get into the mind of the assassin? Leke had mentioned that the assassin was trained in telepathy. It may be dangerous to allow Zeke to try.
Ninjin scratted his chin.
“Here’s my thoughts. We let him escape. We make it easy. If he wants to run he’ll run. We track the ship back to wherever he came from and we land there with the entire might of the Saiyan army. If he stays and tries to assassinate one of us we find him and we attempt to make him talk. I am done playing around with the Universal Church of One. They have gone much too far this time!” Ninjin closed his eyes and took a shaky breath, then he reopened them. There was guilt there. He looked around at everyone gathered.
“I’m sorry.” He swallowed hard and bit his tongue. “ I should have realized it was coming to this. I’ve fought the church for years and I… I never thought…” He voice caught in his throat. His teeth ground together again. No. He was not going to let himself deteriorate into guilt and sadness. He was a leader.
“I will not let them get away with this. We will not let the Church get away with this. The lives lost will not go unavenged. For every child they took from us we will have vengeance. For every friend, brother, sister, mother, father lost we will have vengeance.”
“I say we let him escape and track him. Then we follow him.” The prince realized he may have gotten carried away and stepped back semi-embarrassed.

Glaring across the long table at her step mother Akassa’s teeth ground against one another as the woman gave her “answer.” As Natisha spat out one lie after the other all she could think about was sending a right hook into her jaw, the weak Queen easy to level if the Princess ever chose to. Of course she knew such a reaction to the woman’s words was something she could never do, no matter how untrue her words were, Akassa wished that just once she could take a free shot. At first she was surprised by the feeling, never before having wanted to strike the woman. There had been plenty of times in the past she had wished she could speak out against her, show the flaws in her logic or speech, but never hit her. This was different…the woman not only insulted her, but insulted all that she stood for. The Hattori family was supposed to be the epitome of Saiyan blood and yet they didn’t even fully support one another. What family could truly rule when pitted against each other?
Eyes remaining narrowed Akassa believed she was staring at the problem, the one gear in the royal machine that refused to work with the others…or at least herself. Perhaps it was partially her fault for she had realized long ago what sort of woman Natisha was and she had thought others saw through the ruse as well, but then they began to agree. Celeh complimented the Queen for her words, and Ezekiel agreed. Did they not see how this woman’s words poisoned all those that heard them? The knuckles of her right hand starting to turn white from the tightly clench fist she had maintained since her entrance, she just couldn’t swallow the fact that no one openly supported her statements. In her anger she did not see that they cared more for their revenge against the Church then calling Natisha out on her hate for the Princess. She was not able to see that others had suffered in this attack, many more than her. Friends and family had been lost for all and although she knew of the deaths her anger blinded her to truly realizing how the others felt, then Ninjin spoke.
Opening her mouth to lash out at the Queen once more Akassa pauses as Ninjin speaks. At first he seemed to just be providing his opinion on the best way to proceed with finding those that attacked them, but then he did something she did not expect, he apologized. Seeing her confident brother swallow, struggling with his own words she slowly closes her mouth. Ninjin was a powerful warrior with a personality that was as strong as any she knew; never lacking the confidence to speak what was on his mind. On multiple occasions he had even gotten into verbal arguments with the King, something she had never had the courage to do. He spoke of revenge, vengeance against those that had attacked their home. Akassa wanted the same thing, perhaps even more than he did. After all she had nearly lost her life at the hands of Aer Nin and would have if it wasn’t for his help. She still yearned to snap back at Natisha, but out of respect for her brother she keeps her mouth shut this time.
Gradually though her eyes would shift back to the Queen, face returning to a more neutral expression as she looks at the woman. Slowly her hands unclench, and her heart rate began to slow as she reigned in her anger. Akassa planned to keep quiet for now, but she did not plan to forget this. Natisha had crossed a line this day and those that new Akassa knew she did not let such things go easily. Even the light hearted Conri Lane who had crossed a line unintentionally had earned her wrath for it. There was no debating that the Princess was of a half blooded nature, but she could hold a grudge just as well as any of her full blooded brethren.

Celeh had little to say about what was going on right now that either hadn't already been said, or that no one could say for the sake of keeping their heads attached to their bodies. Emotions were running very high for everyone involved, and although they all had different reasons for being here they were all drawn together for the sole purpose of dishing back to those that had wronged New Vegeta the same treatment that they had delivered in the attack. It's true that their homeland was in shambles and the king was crippled. Sad as that was to admit, Celeh drew strength from that fact. Though it was in ruin, their homeland still existed. Though their king was crippled, he did not lay down and die.
It was then that something dawned on Celeh that she hadn't thought of before and she began to speak. "I am not the greatest when it comes to speaking with a silver tongue, so you will have to pardon me if my words are not as eloquent as others in the room." She took a deep breath, "It is true that our home has been demolished...it is also true that our king has been crippled in the attack...I do not know why or exactly how these things came to pass, but I do know that this Church of One...this group that has tried to eliminate us...they have made one very grave mistake. We of Saiyan blood have always had, throughout our long and very convoluted history, one defining trait that granted us victory even after being crushed in combat. Our strength, as individuals and as a whole, is at its absolute best when we are on the rebound from near death. What does not kill us makes us stronger. The mistake that the Church made...was not finishing what they started. Because now we have rallied our strength, we have recovered from our wounds, and their punishment will be ten, nay, ten thousand fold what they tried to do to us. Because that is the Saiyan way."
After her lengthy and somewhat passionate speech, Celeh's face lost expression and she crossed her arms, sitting back down at her chair. She hoped that in some way, her words had inspired the group. She did not possess the leadership experience that others at this table may have had, but Celeh had a soldier's heart through and through. And breaking through hard times is what Soldiers were best at.

The way Ninjin spoke was the way he would have to his father thought as he watched his son. He would have to command respect from those around him and express authority when he needed to get the room in line or just to listen to one another. Realistically this room would more than likely implode in on itself based on the reports and experiences of the individuals in the room. He could see the stares many had at Natisha, she was not the most popular but they did not know what she had done for the kingdom in the past. She was able to traverse somewhere the Saiyan King never could. He was the strength and the might of the throne while she was the brains and the cunning behind it. One without the other would have seen the kingdom implode in on itself many decades ago. Natisha watched on with proud eyes despite the death glare she was receiving from her half breed step daughter. He was showing more and more promise to be a great King but there would have to be a few things removed so that he could rule properly. The first being the Universal Church of One.
The surprise that seemed to catch the two royals off guard was from the young woman that was assigned to guard the Princess, Celeh. She spoke not with the most eloquent fashion but it was the meaning behind her words that held the royals in being impressed with what they saw. Natisha with a smile on her face stepped forward. “Your words are strong Celeh. To hear them from those outside of the royal family is encouraging. Now I know that the Saiyan pride burns strong within us all.” Her head would turn to Ninjin. “You are correct. We should bait this assassin out, if he is stupid enough to show his face we will let him lead us to their home world.” Natisha hissed with bloodlust seeping into his voice. Tsuyo seemed to shift in his chair and began to summon energy within himself. He was trying hard to communicate but would have to wait just a little longer until more of his strength returned in order to make his statement.

OOC: Told Aka to skip me on my last turn. Was given permission to break the order a lil to post now. Things go back to normal after this post.
--
Leke simply absorbed all that was coming in at him. He sensed the hostility and knew a lot of the history between his mother and half-sister, but could not come between them. One, that was not his place; two, this was not the time; three, he couldn't stop Akassa from doing anything if he tried. Higher ranking didn't mean doo-dah when she overpowered him as much as she did.
He listened to the various statements and smiled when the bodyguard of Celeh, who had definitely saved Leke's life by meeting up with him in the courtyard and helping defeat the Namekian assassin, made a short, inspiring speech. It touched his heart that even non-Royals would have such ambition and had the fire to want to get back at the bastards who did this.
And then Ninjin made his own statement that silenced even Akassa. His and Ninjin's mother then stated what they all thought - agreement that the Saiyans should track this assassin down. That much was obvious. But..
"How?" Leke interjected, finally bringing himself really into the conversation. The prince did not want to get involved in the drama, but he needed to say something now. They were all talking, but they needed action, not words. It was a little funny to Leke that HE, probably one of the more reasonable Saiyans in attendance, thought about the actions they needed to do and not the talking about doing them.
"How do we do that? We need a plan made and executed. We're gonna bait him out. How? We need to set up whoever's going to do it, and do it. Pronto. I'm sorry, but talking here is great and all but we're losing time. As we speak, the assassin is recovering and plotting. Who knows what's up his sleeve. I'm not well-versed in these matters, so I'll keep my ideas aside, but Saiyans are about action. Let's make a plan and do it." With that, Leke sat back in his chair and looked down. He had meant to say less, but it just ended up flowing out of his mouth. The young prince had grown beyond his years in the past year. He felt like an old man mentally, even though he was quite a few years from being just a young man like his elder brother.

Post by Disgraced Prince Nasu Hattori on Apr 14, 2014 21:34:06 GMT -5
Nasu sat and listened as his brother’s words stopped Akassa’s rage in it’s tracks. He sat with his jaw slightly open in shock over what he had just seen. Ninjin Hattori, the prince of all saiyan’s second only to Tsuyo himself apologizing. On top of that the man seemed unsure of himself, as his body shook with guilt and his voice wavered.
Till that moment most of what had happened around them had seemed unreal. In all honesty most of his friends were so far on the outskirts of the city that they were almost certainly fine and not affected by the attack. Nasu had taken a beating but that also happened on a fairly regular basis. On a planet where half the population could tear down a building if they had one too many shots and got in a fight with their neighbors even the destruction didn’t phase him all that much.
Seeing this though, this shook him. The prince, his brother, was one of the strongest fighters in the universe, as far as Nasu’s energy sensing could tell, he was actually the third strongest in the room behind Tsuyo and his sister but still. He’d interacted with his brother, fought beside his brother. He’d seen Ninjin get hit hard, he’d seen him stand back up, he’d seen him stabbed, burned and choked in a fight before but he’d never once seen his brother nervous. Ninjin went into everything with that same confident swagger that somehow assured everyone around him that it was all going to turn out for the best. For the first time Nasu looked around at the state of the palace, at the fact that they were holding one of the most important meetings in their race’s history in a tent because of the destruction.
And suddenly he was grateful that there was such a small group collected in this room because he was sure if the saiyan people saw this so close to the attack there would be panic. Still his brother’s words were moving, on top of that they made a lot of sense. If Zeke was right and the assassin tried to attack he would be easily overwhelmed. There was enough combined power in this room alone to wipe out an entire planet, never mind one lone attacker. However if the man tried to flee they could follow him back to his source. The entire saiyan army would follow him back. It was time to show the church the true power of the saiyan race. It was time to wipe them out. Standing up Nasu walks over to his brother Ninjin and wordlessly puts his hand on the man’s shoulder as a sign of support. Publicly this probably wouldn’t be a welcome gesture as acknowledging any sign of weakness in the royal family wouldn’t go over well. But here, everyone from Natisha, to Akassa, finally to Ninjin had already lost their composure, the fact that this group was so small allowed people to get away with things they normally couldn’t. And so Nasu stood behind his unknowing brother and tried to offer him the surety that he so often offered his people without even realizing it.
Expecting one of the family to speak next Nasu turned to see the guard Celeh stand and take the lead. Where Ninjin’s speech had sincerity and concern, her’s had fire and passion. It was the call to arms for the saiyan race.
Strangely enough even the queen echoed his thoughts, anger seeping back into her own words but this time it felt more genuine. His mind was becoming full of righteous vengeance until his younger brother came forth with a voice of reason.
How were they going to trap an assassin who could read minds?
Nasu looked over at Zeke, the church was dedicated but they wouldn’t send their men on a suicide run if there was nothing that could be gained from it right? “The assassin wouldn’t come here. In this room there is enough power to kill anything else on the planet hands down. He won’t go on a suicide mission now when he can heal up and try again when it best suits him. That leaves running. Since he can read minds trapping him is almost impossible unless it looks too good to be true. If you want to catch him you have to have bait.” he walked back to his seat still thinking. “If you’re going to catch someone who can read your mind you have to have no one else there. The ship can track him and send the coordinates back to us. But if he see’s a ship completely unguarded he’ll either jump on the chance to escape or assume it’s a trap. It all depends on how desperate he is to get off this planet.” With that Nasu sat back down, he couldn’t think of any other way to fool a telepath but since Zeke knew how to read minds himself maybe he could come up with something better.

Zeke was amused at the Queen's mind blocking trick. She tried to shrug it off as if she was not in the least bit bothered, but she was an actor. It only made Zeke want to grin even more. But he didn't. He kept his expression neutral.
It seemed the oldest prince was set on the escape plan. Fair enough. It also seemed that Ninjin was taking this all quite hard. He was angry and wanted to crush the church in the name of Vengeance. Zeke's time with Kosho Masamune taught him that Vengeance was not the way. What would he say to them now? Likely that they had to fight to stop the Church from doing this to the people of Vegeta, or anyone else again, not focusing on what they had done. That mindset was likely why the attack didn't anger Zeke as much as the others. When he went after the Church from now on, it would be for Justice.
Nasu showed support for Ninjin. They must also know eachother well... Zeke expected to be working closely with the prince eventually. That would be awkward, but maybe that's what they needed. Zeke had to eventually prove that Ninjin could trust him. Kazu joked, saying Zeke should apply as Ninjin's personal guard. That was a laugh. The Prince of all Saiyans needing a bodyguard. Then again, like Jaxine said, maybe it would be more of a "badass novelty" to have an ex-assassin bodyguard who had tried to kill him once. Apparently Akassa had one herself, though Zeke had never met them. Unknowingly, that guard herself was Celeh, who stood across the room from him speaking words of fire and determination.
It was funny to see Natisha agree with Ninjin's choice of plan as if she had the tactical capacity to understand it. She did not fortify her agreement with a plan, though. A sure sign of her lack of tactical skill. Leke, the youngest prince, made a point. How would they fool a telepathy? Is that not just what Zeke had just said to Natisha could not be done? Well, it could in some ways.
Zeke listened to Nasu speak. Finally, a plan had begun to form. Zeke crossed his arms, putting a finger to his chin as he thought ahead on Nasu's words. He was onto something.
"Nasu is exactly right. As long as nobody is there, the Target will have no minds to read. But we can't just leave an unguarded ship sitting around, its a dead giveaway that we're watching it. We need to make it look like he has a window of opportunity. One shot to escape when really we're handing it to him."
Zeke walked up to the table and did something that few in the room would likely expect. He put a hand out and with a flash of black smoke from his hand, created a pool of black energy in the middle of the table. A structure shot up from the black spot; a scale model of the space station. After Zeke had killed the Monk, whom he had later learned was a man named Seshin, Zeke stayed up for hours studying the building so he could use his magic to help rebuild it.
"This is a model of the space station." he stated. Then, the walls crumbled away, for the most part. "And this is after the attack. This would be the first place one would go to acquire a ship, really. It is now out of service, obviously." he said. Then with a flick of his fingers, part of one end was rebuilt. "Before arriving here, I was helping rebuild the structure. The west end hangar is now mostly standing, and crews are currently wiring it up. It won't be long until that part of the station is up and running."
Zeke knew some of them may know where he was going, but others had no idea. Some were still stuck on how the hell he was making the table into a small building. Zeke continued. "We can pool resources to finishing that part of the station and getting some ships in there. If the media asks, say its for travel, trade and emergency precautions. We keep the place guarded. However, make all she ships appear they are being repaired except one." Zeke went on to make the rest of the building disappear and enlarge the west end. He completed the structure and made the walls transparent, adding some chess pawns as guards and little ships. One was colored red.
"Have two trackers installed. A trained assassin is going to know better than to assume the ship has no tracker, so make one obvious so he can disable it. The other is hidden well within the ship. But like I said, the place is guarded. That is to make it all look routine. So, this is where the window comes from." Zeke explained. "We would need a fake distraction that would draw the guards out of the space port, making the Target look as if he has his one window." he explained, moving the pawns out and moving a green one in to the red ship.
"Ideas?" he asked, looking around then stopping on Akassa. of all people, she was probly going to be the first one looking for a reason to make a distraction for the sake of blowing off steam. Not to mention a Royal could get off with it easy. Unless Natisha used that to try and imprison Akassa through some bullshit loophole. If not her, there was always Jaxine... but that could get messy.

The trap was agreed upon as the best way to draw this little sneaking assassin out from his hiding hole but the exact plan had yet to be devised. To the Queen even though she did not want to admit it this mercenary Zeke NeCross had a well devised plan. The problem was that he was under the assumption that this was no longer a covert operation. They were at war, and would act as they always had. The Universal Church of One had gone too far, angered the Saiyans one too many times and now they would reap their rewards. Ninjin had tangled with them; they were really his own problem. Tsuyo had at times but the Universal Church of One had never proved to be this much of a threat before. During Tsuyo’s reign it was a few generals who thought they were powerful then they should, and meanwhile conquering and expanding the Saiyan kingdom. There was never a truly dominate force that resisted the king but rather annoyances like the Universal Church of One.
“I doubt the assassin will show his face right away,” The Queen said as her eyes studied the small building replica that was created by the mercenary. “He will no doubt wait for the heat to dissipate and then try and make the move. The problem with this is that he could wait a long period of time and we cannot keep the kingdom closed. As soon as the spaceport is ready to open it needs to, without it we will not be able to maintain the economy and the Universal Church of One would receive the joy of watching our kingdom crash under the fear of opening our borders. On top of that we have to reassure the public we are in control, if we remain with closed borders that will only spread panic that we cannot protect ourselves.” The Queen added. The mercenary and many of the others in the room may not have thought of the situation in this way. Any prolonged closure of the spaceport could damage the economy for years and the likelihood of the assassin staying in hiding for an extended period of time was probably close to a fifty-fifty chance.
Just as the Queen was about to speak again when a silent guard arrived in the tent. He walked stoically up to the Queen and passed her three small hologram disks. They all contained reports regarding the events that had occurred today. Once the guard had performed his simple task he would turn on his heel and leave once again to return to aiding the civilians. The reports included a damage assessment, casualty reports, the state of the public sentiment and how much this would cost to fix alongside other miscellaneous of varying meanings. Natisha clicked one of the hologram discs and slide it close to Zeke’s replica. Once it came to a rest a large map of city came up.
“As he stated from what we can determine the spaceport for the most part was destroyed. Efforts at this rate will have us up to 50% capacity by the end of the next three days. To reach a 100% it is going to be a week and a half at this rate.” Natisha spoke as large portions of the map turned to various shades of color detailing the damage to the city. Most of the city was shaded one color or another. “As you can see the city for the most part has been damaged in one way or another. We still are collecting data on the casualties. Thus far the number is very high.” Natisha said with a relative monotone voice. When she glanced back she could see her husband struggling to speak. She took a step towards him but he stopped her with hand.
“Le…let him…escape…follow…then destroy…destroy…” Tsuyo said with pain seeping into each word. He struggled but his determination was showing through.
“Yes we know destroy the Universal Church of One. There is no need to waste your energy,” The Queen said showing her softer side for just a moment.
“No…destroy…thei…their…pla…net…planet…no…survivors…” Tsuyo said as anger of his situation and the situation the saiyans was in was expressed through his face. Natisha had heard the tone he just used before even if it was distorted because of the pain. He was deadly serious; the king was out for blood and would accept nothing less. In this particular case, the destruction of the planet of the Universal Church of One.

His words apparently had calmed his sister’s fury for now. It was not his intended effect, but a nice one all the while. The prince was a little embarrassed to have lost himself to his emotions like that in front of this group. His sister’s fists unclenched and her expression shifted to what her normal expression was, neutral. Nasu moved over to his side and placed his hand comfortingly on his shoulder. It was a comforting gesture to the prince but the rest of the room would no doubt be confused seeing this. Ninjin was grateful for his friends support however. Celeh began to speak next. Her words were heartfelt and passionate. Ninjin found himself begin to feel inspired by the words. Every bit was right. They would come back stronger, that’s what Saiyan’s did. How many times had Ninjin nearly been killed by the church only to come back stronger and fight harder against them. This was the strongest he’d ever been and now it was time to take down the church once and for all.
“Well said Celeh. Well said.”
His mother seemed to approve of his idea. Leke seemed confused on the prince’s strategy. He called for action and not words. Ninjin could understand his mind-set. They needed to get revenge now for what the church did.
Nasu made a valid point. The assassin was most likely going to assume a ship left unguarded, it had to be a trap. What type of trap would the assassin be looking for though? No doubt the alien knew that the saiyans wanted him dead, perhaps he would be thinking it would be a lethal trap rather than one to track the ship. Nevertheless he would not be fooled so easily.
Zeke began to speak and agreed with the sentiment the group had reached. They would set a trap. The man-who-had-once-stabbed-him made the prince step back in surprise. He conjured something on the table in a puff of black smoke, and the prince was even further surprised when the thing turned out to be a scale model of the space port. This show of magic impressed the prince.
The walls crumbled away to show the damage from the attack. It was brutal and Ninjin remembered finding his friends in the rubble of it. It brought a pang of sadness. The prince quickly pushed it to the side, he could not allow himself another outbreak.
Zeke laid out his idea in impressive three-d. His mother spoke up, though she agreed with the plan she brought things to a more economical level. The prince grimaced, damn the economic damage, their people had just died! The prince was about to speak up but a guard walked in. Ninjin’s eyes followed the man the entire length of the room to the queen and he handed her something.
The items he had handed to her turned out to be hologram disks, and she slid one on the table next to Zeke’s model. It opened into a large map of the city. She outlined the damages to the city when something unexpected happened.
His father spoke.
It started slow, and he sounded wracked with pain. At first it seemed as if he agreed with everything that had been said thus far.
Then it took a turn Ninjin hadn’t been expecting.
Destroy the entire planet? It took the prince by surprise. He could understand wanting the church dead, but what if there were those on the planet who didn’t follow the church. No Survivors. that is what his father said. None. It was revenge in the highest form. The prince too wanted revenge, though was he willing to take out an entire world.
It was a decision he would have to make in the moment, he had never fathomed having to make a decision like that before. As high-general and no doubt leader of the revenge effort it would fall upon his shoulders to carry out his father’s wishes.
“Yes father.” The young prince would say.

Leke nodded in agreement as Nasu and Zeke made their own comments. Though he knew each little, both of them provided interesting points, Zeke moreso. He detailed a plan that fit their description of a trap, and looked sound to him, even with the holograms and projections that the prince's mother provided. A week and a half... That would seem like an eternity to Leke, who would train almost every second of it. He needed all of the strength he could get to prepare for this assassin. The Namekian would have finished the job if Celeh had not intervened. He had Celeh to thank for his life.
"One comment. You say two trackers, an assassin would obviously find one, yes. No matter the cost, we need to have at least one that makes it back to wherever. This assassin was no fool, I would think he'd think to search top-and-bottom if he had the time to do so. Might we add a third one? That way, if he thinks to look for a second and finds it, we have a back-up. We Saiyans are not known across the galaxy for our intelligence... I would think the Namekian might respect us enough to look for a second, but definitely not a third. It couldn't hurt." Leke thought for a moment. If the spaceport had to be opened...
"Then we also need to put trackers on every ship, not only just one. If the spaceport opens and we know he hasn't left yet, we need to make sure he doesn't get out disguised. He can take the appearance of anybody, say, a merchant with credentials, and leave unhampered. We can track where every ship goes." Leke could not smile, though he knew his plan was a good one. After his comment however, his father shocked the entire council by forcing a few words out. Weak as he was, he still had the anger and determination to painfully eek out a few words, detailing his intentions to not only destroy the United Church of One, but their entire planet as well.
Leke's eyes went wide, but he found that he could not say a word. There was more than good intentions afoot here; more than just retribution for this attack. His father's words had silenced the council. Destroy the entire planet? The teenage prince could not even fathom the idea. Certainly not everyone agreed with the invasion of New Vegeta. Leke was angry, yes, but did an entire planet deserve death for what most likely only the leaders of a certain organization decided upon? From the reports given, most of the attackers were androids that could be programmed. The more powerful beings were the ones that were humanoids, capable of free will.
Leke shuddered a little, though hoped no one would see. He was viewed as soft by his parents, at least, moreso than his brother and sister. He did not want to go against their wishes, but could he go with the destruction of an entire planet? No, not if there was even one person they could save, though it was likely there was a lot more than just one. Leke didn't know what to say, though it was clear that his jade amulet agreed with him. Detecting the maliciousness emanating from his father, the amulet continued the shine. Leke positioned his arm to cover up the light but no doubt some had seen it. He had not explained the amulet to any of them, and didn't intend to here today.
Leke closed his eyes and bowed his head a little. There was no way he could openly oppose his father's wishes, not now. Perhaps his father would be more reasonable after some time, though perhaps that was just a foolish dream. Vengeance was in his father's mind now, and would be until he thought it was all over. He silently vowed that he would do whatever it took to prevent the destruction of the United Church of One's planet. He was normally against killing anybody unless they were malicious. The young prince knew that somebody had to be put down for this, but Leke would say it was only the higher-ups that deserved it. The lower rankings could be case-by-case. It was not the Saiyan way, but Leke couldn't stand to see tens or hundreds of thousands, possibly millions, put to death for their quest for revenge.
