All around her people burst into motion, Nasu and Toa engaging members of the assaulting party. The King floated in shock, unable to believe that all these gathered “heroes” of Earth were the ones instigating the fighting. The strange blue haired boy, as care free as he appeared to be, had dropped away to protect the school that was so important to him. His much more powerful brother floated off to the side still, gathering energy for an undetermined purpose. Ezekiel NeCross had vanished in a puff of smoke with no intentions of playing a role in any of this, no matter what side he had chosen. Akassa saw none of it, her rage and attention fully on the fool that she had once thought her friend. The male that had insulted her, disrespected her and finally assaulted her had gone too far, he had earned the wrath of the Saiyan Queen and many would suffer for it.
The whip that had formed around her arm snapped forward to tightly wrap itself around his ankle, pulling tight as she began to yank downwards. For a moment he was able to resist, his own hands grabbing onto the thick strand of Ki as he began to drag her higher into the air. The Queen’s will and strength overpowered his own, her violent yank downwards whipping the Champion down into the city street far below. Luckily for Conri there had been no people in the way, his body driving into the pavement and dirt beneath but harming no one. Akassa really hadn’t cared, his foolish actions had brought this on him and on any that might get caught in the cross fire. She had come seeking the quickest and most peaceful transition possible, yet these fools had decided to fight against her for imagined crimes.
As for his sneak attack, the lightning would almost miss her. His movement having forced her to shift in the air, followed by the lurching that came with her heaving to throw him towards the ground had left his aim slightly off. Catching her in the hand the charge sent a slight spasm through her arm, but then the Ki flowing through it fought back the charge, her arm a mixture of technology and integration into her natural Ki system. The energy entered her body and traveled down toward her foot where it leapt out from her form to strike the tower of a building nearby. It had definitely hurt, but was far from debilitating.
Even before she had launched her attack, Akassa had known it would not be enough to remove Conri from combat. As misguides as he was, the half-saiyan was by no means a weak individual. Out of all gathered he was the closest to matching Akassa, even if he too fell short. So when he rose back up to address Saito, she was prepared for a fight. As he turned to fight her, the Queen’s muscles tense as she expected him to rush back at her, knowing he could be almost as aggressive as she was. What he did instead had her eyes widening slightly. Reaching down to his reserves the blue haired warrior pulled more power forth, his already muscular frame bulging with the rawenergyr that began to flow through him. Along with his increase in size his signature grew, rising even past that of Akassa herself.
The disbelief that Akassa felt caused her to pause a moment and it cost her. Rushing her, she felt the impact and the explosion before she realized he was attacking. His Champions Cannon worked brilliantly in terms of what Conri had intended, the force of the attack hurtling Akassa backwards through the air. With them above the center of Central City, the better part of the metropolis was saved for the moment, minus the two buildings in line with her forced trajectory. Rocketing backwards through the air she barely even realized she had struck each of the buildings before she had burst out the other side. Luckily the structures, even with the twin holes through their centers, remained standing after she had passed through. The path he had set her on took her beyond the perimeter of the city before she struck the ground, the Queen bouncing and skipping across the dirt before she got her hands and feet under her.
Dragging across the dirt her limbs left a quartet of tracks as she dug them into counter the remaining momentum. Coming to a halt her head snaps up to glare in the direction of the city and the bastard that had launched her from it. Panting some from taking the powerful blast full on, Akassa trembled with rage. He had insulted her so openly and now he had surpassed her! The very thought that he was stronger than her was enraging enough, never mind the vents that had lead up to the revelation. Teeth grinding together she launches back into the air, catapulting from all fours like a pouncing animal as she took to the air. He would pay for all of this. There was no way she was going to be bested in front of her allies and army; no one was stronger than Queen Akassa Hattori.
”Maya, open fire!”
His aim had definitely been to remove her from the city, but what would he do if she wasn’t the only threat to it? Akassa was furious now, the fact another had surpassed was a direct shot to the Queen’s pride. She would not only beat him into the ground, but make him suffer by destroying the city he felt he was so justly protecting. The irony was that his actions would be what brought about its destruction. No one was allowed to address or treat her in such a way, she was the Queen of the Saiyan Empire and all would kneel before her. Conri and those like him needed to be taught a lesson.
Locking in on Conri’s signature, Akassa heads directly for him. Channeling energy down both arms now two Ha-Ken take shape, surrounding her hands and forearms in her signature Ki gauntlets. Whether she met him at the spot he had launched her from or at any point along the way, she would do so with a flurry of strikes. Gauntlet enhanced punches would rain down on him, her assault aggressive regardless of the distinct power advantage that he had. The Queen of the Saiyan never shied away from a fight.

Finally the true conflict had begun down on the planets surface, it felt as though days had passed since the Queen and her company had taken their leave from the moon and landed below. So much had been said yet so little had actually happened, taking direct actions seemed a weak point in the structure of the human race; more willing to talk than to act, regardless they had no option now. From what Maya had complied something had upset the Queen, something to the point that she no longer held back her pent up anger. The Earth now faced a greater enemy than they had minutes before as Akassa was different when her hatred fueled her; the foreseeable future of the planet was clouded in a haze, one way or another the Saiyan banner would rise over the skyline for all to see... though who might be left of the worlds population to witness such a feat, no one could say. Maya with her vast intelligence could compute only that of which it knew for a fact, with so many variables in placed; who, what, and how could be spoken of the outcome but until the dust settled it would be impossible to understand what was to come.
Viewing the world below Maya kept still, only but her eyes shifted as she glanced over the planets surface. The fighting had begun, the teams were undoubtedly dividing apart, taking on assigned tasks while Maya was support, very limited if that. She fully understood her own abilities, what was in her range to accomplish and what was not, as for the moment the parameters of her task was simple; wait, and fire. What could go wrong? The systems had been checked, and checked again, if there was nothing else to be done then maintenance and supervision was all that could be overseen by her own hands.
At this point Maya wished she would have thought ahead to deploy mechanical spies in order to have a view which was not deprived from the new choppers long distances from the battle field. There was the bonus of hacking into a multiple of satellites to view all that was known however it only provided a small fraction of data that was ever needed to fully understand the battle field below. It was a mistake on her behalf, one of which she would rectify if the chance was ever given again, after all, the chances of the Empire invading another planet in the near future was highly; the rush to win, to conquer, it flowed like a mighty flood which nothing could stop its movement but time. That was to be focused on at another moment, right now the events on Earth held a greater importance as if they could not take such a world then any thoughts of conquest in days to come where far from reality.
Akassa's booming voice rang through Maya with her barking command; it was time, time for her to shine. Maya couldn't help but to feel giddy, not so much for the fact that she was about to unleash fire upon an unsuspecting world but that Akassa had called for her directly to take action. There was no way she could let her down now when so much weight was on her shoulders.
"Fleet, Fire."
The command was superficial as Maya held majority control of all the vessels within the fleet, she did it more as an act to show that while Akassa was away Maya held charge with these men.
Glowing with a deep shade of red the primary cannons of the ships began to fire their deadly beams on the targeted city; Maya was well aware of their capabilities and while they would not cripple those which faced Akassa those which held normal standards of strength would be vaporized within fractions of a second. Buildings would be torn apart from their foundations and sent soaring into the skies above, it would be an amazing site to behold on the ground but from up here Maya would be able to see everything, ever shot, ever explosion, it was a front row seat.
Multiple rounds from each of the ships would be fired down into the city before Maya would cease the hell fire, the weapons needed some time to cool before they could be fired once again. Maya stood their with her arms crossed behind her back to view her handy work, there was always more that could be done but without command from Akassa she would wait, she would wait and listen to all that could be heard. There was a disappointment to be had with her attacking the city in such a fashion, any nearby news feeds would be cut, leaving her with little else to follow up on; there was always sacrifices in war, this would just have to be one of them.
"As you commanded Akassa. Time till next battery... T-minus three minutes."
Maya informed Akassa though with her fighting below she doubted that Akassa could very well keep up with time and would most likely just tell her to fire once more when the need arose once again. Such a thing however didn't bother Maya, she would do what she could when she could do it, till then... she watched.

There was one thing that Conri had learned as he trained under the heaviest conditions and continued to increase his power and speed, the world became a lot slower to him. It was more of an issue of just how fast he had become compared to everything else around him, except for Akassa the only one within the range of his speed. She was still a distance away though when his eyes caught the attack from above them and he knew that this was the point where he would have to try and fulfill his promise, but first he had something to take care of right away. Hopefully he would be able to pull it off, at the very least he had to try to make sure that those around him were safe, even if it meant possibly sacrificing the chance to end this quickly. Extending his arms out to the side Ki gathered in each one as Ki blasts fired off like a machine gun to fill the sky above where they were fighting expanding outward further and further until it would cover the part of the city with those still not evacuated. He could sense each of them having taken the time when he was within the city to memorize each of the signatures around him regardless of if it was strong or not, and he had even memorized the power signatures of the students of Saito's school when he was there. That was why he would continue to fire of his Renzoku Energy Dan until the city was darkened by the sheer number that filled the sky because not only was he going to counter their attack with his own, but he was going to show those that unleashed the barrage that they were not safe from him. He couldn't go for accuracy since he couldn't sense anything so he went for attacking through sheer numbers and making it rain in space.
When that was done he dropped his arms to his sides trying to slowly regain what energy he had expended for such an endeavor, as it had left him a bit worn, and he hoped that it would at least pay off in protecting the people. Despite what others might've thought about him and his actions, he did care for the people and he had learned a lot of their first names in talking with them. If anything did happen to them he would have to bare the weight of those lives lost on his shoulders and he would fully carry it throughout his life, but that would happen regardless of which path he had taken whether he kneel or fight. At least fighting, he had managed to reduce how many would be attacking the people and could work more effectively at protecting them because there were only three enemies on the planet. If he had knelt then there would be that many more Saiyans spread throughout the planet that could turn against humans upon learning of a rebellion against their Queen. Plus if he could do it maybe he could open Akassa's eyes as to what she was doing now, she had told him to his face that she had no intentions of dominating, but here she was now trying to dominate the humans.
Hopefully Saito and Burradori would do something to help him out not only seeing what Akassa had just tried to do, but seeing what lengths he himself would go to in order to protect the people. He couldn't solely rely on that though so he turned his attention to his opponent for this, and would let her come at him because while it wasn't a lot in her rage she was using more energy to rush at him. Watching her movements carefully, he would have to time this with some precision as she approached with her gauntlets, wrapping his own with his spider silk technique to add a bit of protection to his own arms. The first strike he moved to block with an arm to get her into a closer range before throwing out his own attacks to match her flurry. Sure he would take hits, but he wouldn't be the only one doing so if she wanted to stay in melee range with him, because he was never one to just throw fists around because that would just limit him. "So, did you really decide to walk down the dark path? You said before you didn't want to dominate, but here you are. Not only that, but it seems that you also lied about not harming innocents. So, Akassa, the question that needs to be asked; can you be saved or should I also break my promise?" he would ask directly, if she was going to break her word to him, then should he do the same? If that was the case then he would stop fighting with 'gloves' on.
She could still leave and let the Earth alone, but then they would definitely need to leave the moon as well, they had proven to be untrustworthy people after everything that had been given to them. He would wait for her answer before he truly entered into the phase of his counterattack, but for the time being he would throw his own punches at Akassa's before he would spin bringing his left leg to hook on hers in an attempt to spin her around in the air and would follow it up with a knee to her face or if the hook didn't work the knee would strike at the solar plexus instead. He would aim to sap away her strength for the time being, if he could pull it off it might be able to end without anyone dying, but if not then he was prepared to take that next step if he needed. Champion's Cannon (1/3) (Got permission from Saito and Burradori to post ahead of them, will return to normal posting order next round. Hopefully this all makes sense and flows better than the last one did lol)

His plea had been answered in a manner Saito was not expecting. Conri, in mid combat took a moment to appear before Saito and speak. The Phoenix and the Champion stood inches from each other. Saito was unmoved as his energy continued to swirl around him. While Conri and Akassa had been charging a natural energy, Saito's was far more focused. He was not as strong as them. His energy lacked the tenacity. Yet he could focus it, and with each moment that passed his own Ki grew exponentially. For what would be his Third charge the man was almost unable to speak. He heard Conri's words. The man failed to understand what Buraddori and the Crane master had tried to explain. The fact was that Akassa Hattorri was egomaniacal and that with a little obedience the planet could have gone a long way. They could have waited until she was no longer near the city, until they no longer had a fleet in prime fighting position. They could have waited until Buraddori, their trusted leader, had led the counter attack as they all knew he would. Instead they knew better.
"Should we survive this prideful spite, we will share words. It has been taken too far now."
He almost sounded in pain as his skin expanded. His muscles grew even larger and the physical manifestation of Ki wrapped around his torso in a brilliant blue and gold swirl. It was then that the order was given. A barrage of cannon fire from above. The first few hit, they had to. Even Conri in his amazing power couldn't stop every blast. The first building struck was a few hundred yards away. The brick and mortar tore from the siding, the glass of the building shattering. They had struck the building at an angle causing a hole to form diagonally through its structure. That structure was done for. Its integrity had been blasted through and within a few seconds of being struck it collapsed. Its innards caving and creating a bowl of rubble, shaking the city. Many blasts struck the ground. Most of them doing little more than creating indentions in the Earth. Small craters where paved road had been. Conri's response was almost immediate, and not a single blast would strike where innocent lives had been. A few more heated blasts would land outside the city radius, but none would be harmed. Remarkable.
Though his foresight was lacking, Conri Lane was indeed a champion. His energy capable not only of stopping the massive barrage, but also capable of continuing his bought with Akassa. He spoke to her as though he knew her. That was the worst part. Conri must have seen this coming. Nobody could flip from being a docile ruler into a monster, but that is what stood before him. By now Saito had risen to a fully erect form. His own energy swirling in a visible ball of blue and gold. He could no longer hold in the rush that was pulling at him. If he wasn't going to release the energy, he had to yell.
"Hyaaaa!"
His voice echoed through the streets as his energy continued to gather. He would not stop his own charge. They were too far from peaceful negotiations. With the city now being fired upon from above their only option was to fight. None remained. He couldn't remain kneeling, and even Buraddori had to realize that such an option no longer made sense. Conri and Kurosunai had made the decision for them, and for that they would have words, but not before removing the Saiyan threat in its entireity. The competitive fighter, trainer, master, would now focus his talents on something he had never done before. Saito would have to kill the queen. If he tried for anything less, she would undoubtedly slaughter him and everyone around him. Conri stood her equal, and Saito stood stronger, if only for a single attack. Conri would need to hold his own until the opportunity presented itself. Keeping his eyes shut Saito could see everything around him. Every fluttering heartbeat of those left unevacuated, and every danz of energy flying through the sky. The fighting had finally begun. Hopefully Buraddori would realize it too.

Post by Fuhrer King Buraddori (NPC) on May 18, 2015 11:40:38 GMT -5
There was a humming in his ears. A few times before, in his middle-aged life, he had heard it. Fighting Vector for the fate of the world. Being tricked and trapped by Kemuri. The invasion by Tundra. And now here it was again, louder than ever. Was he a coward for the fear that was tightly gripping his heart? Did it make him weak that his knees shook and he could not control them? Or was it the fact that for one supposed to be a King, he knew he was completely powerless? Earth was damned. There was no two ways about that, no matter who won there would be countless dead. The boy that had sexually assaulted the queen rose in front of them after being thrown and thought to lecture him. Conri Lane was not fit to be guardian of Earth, no matter what level of power he had achieved. If Kaladar had seen his actions, he too would have no doubt been disgusted.
“Sexually assaulting Akassa and starting a war in the middle of Central City helps no one. You are too young and naïve to understand the powers that you are wielding. They are enough to destroy all of Earth. Not just Central City. It doesn’t matter where you fight. And now you really think Akassa will hold back a thing for what you’ve done? Because of your actions Humans will be lucky to have a planet at all, if they even have their lives!” [/b] The Fuhrer’s voice slipped through clenched teeth like a cold wind. Evacuating the city? They needed to evacuate the planet. Yet there would not be enough time.
Still, as Conri turned from them there was a sliver of hope. His muscles bulged and his power rose higher, past even Akassa’s. It left Buraddori dumbfounded for a moment. Conri rushed forwards faster than the Fuhrer’s eyes could track and suddenly he could feel Akassa’s power soaring out and away from the city. Still even with Conri’s newfound power it only added to the Fuhrer’s worries, not lessened them. More power meant more potential harm to the planet in collateral.
Akassa’s power still remained outside the city. There had been no doubt in Buraddori’s mind that she would live through the guardian’s attack. Suddenly blasts of energy began to fill the sky. So the Queen was launching an attack on Central City from space? There was no chance of this ending without death. None at all. Conri Lane flew into the sky and began to fill it with blasts of his own. Perhaps it would save some, perhaps Would his family survive this? Would he? The Fuhrer brought his wrist-watch to his lips.
“Activate the EDF. Execute order 66. Saiyan-Earth war.” It was not as if they were not prepared for such an inevitability. It was a constant threat looming over his head, quite literally. Tsyuo had, hilariously, turned out to be more level headed than his daughter. Yet the Saiyan’s presence was one they had had to account for at all times. And so here it was. He had bent the knee, but that had been when he thought it would save lives. Now here she was attacking and trying to kill Earthlings without remorse, without regard for those that might have served her rule. Conri and the Queen would clash, and Buraddori was once again left feeling like an ant among giants.
Saito was nearby, and Buraddori could feel the awesome power that he was charging. It was then that he knew what he had to do. Buraddori stood and walked over to Kit, placing his hand on his shoulder. The feeling that Kit would get would be warm and intense, but suddenly he would feel himself grow in power. Buraddori was an old man a battle of gods, but Kit… Perhaps he could be of some use to Earth. There was no saving all now, so now they would save who they could.
(Using power-lend on Kit to increase his transformation by +2 for 3 posts. Fuhrer’s power is at 838,000 for those three posts. As a Footnote in your posts Kit please put [Power-Lend 1/3,2/3, ect] thanks!)
[EDF stands for Earth Defense Force. Order 66 is to mobilize Earth's military in retaliation to an attack by Saiyans. Primary objectives of EDF are evacuation of civilians to safe territory]

As soon as the order had been given, Maya complied. The alien had seen the benefits of aligning herself with the Saiyan Queen months ago, her loyalty now unquestionable. For that reason, and the fact she wasn't quite on par with the Saiyans, she had been given control over the fleet. Not as direct a roll in terms of combat, but one of equal importance. Maya was no fool. The goal had never been to begin war with Earth, yet Akassa’s hand had been forced. The mixture of insults directed at her and the rage that always bubbled beneath the Queen's calm exterior had not mixed well, both parties at fault when fire began to rain down from the heavens. Cannons belched destruction towards Central City, the sheer number of shots fired promising to level the majority of the buildings within the city limits. Perhaps when their beloved metropolis was reduced to rubble the fools that defied her would understand who they were dealing with.
As ready as Maya was to comply and as devastating the salvo promised to be there were always factors not directly under Akassa's control. The largest of those was Conri Lane. Despite his demeanor and attitude, he was not one the Queen could overlook. He had already launched her from the city with his new found power and now he thwarted the majority of her bombardment. Like a one manned Ki turret the enlarged champion began to fill the air above the city with energy, the multiple blasts forming a loose blanket over the skyscrapers. The cannon fire struck, but it struck far above the city, blasts detonating at a safe distance from their intended targets. The Queen's frustration only increased with the display, the Super Saiyan cancelling out the better part of her fleets initial offense. Several shots made it through, but the damage was minimal compared to what it would have been.
Letting out a cry, Akassa was on top of him just as he finished his defensive maneuver, leading with her gauntlet covered fists. Despite the energy he had throw into the air he met her full on, his own enhanced punches slamming into hers, the impact sending shockwaves out around the two powerhouses. Exchanging blows now, she found it near impossible to break through his guard and land a solid blow. The fact his power signature sat higher than hers was not missed by the Queen. For the first time in a long time she was struggling to match a foe. Conri even seemed confident enough to engage in conversation. She remembered his promise, but also the disrespect he had shown her. The answer would not come in a traditional form, her words not even directed at him, but her motives would be clear.
"As soon as the cannons are ready, fire again!" Maya would comply, just as she had before, except this time Akassa would make sure Conri could not interfere. The blue haired half-saiyan had thought he had know Akassa well, yet there had been much he did not understand about the Queen. He only saw the surface, the conditioned exterior of the woman that was so often on display for those around her. Etiquette and manners had quite literally been beaten into her, yet behind the facade was the angry girl that had never been recognized in the way she felt she deserved. That part of her was what faught against Conri now and she had no intentions of holding back.
In the middle of exchanging strikes with him, Akassa's scouter would beep, a separate pair of signatures being displayed across it. The powers were identified as those of the Fuhrer and Saito. While the King's power had taken a strange dive from what she remembered, the other had risen considerably. Experienced in combat, she knew exactly what the steadily rising signature meant, the human was focusing on pulling as much Ki from his body as possible. To what end, the Queen was unsure. Both had knelt before her, yet the paranoia within in her did not allow her to just assume it was to be directed at Conri. This place had already proven to be full of fickle individuals, what made those two any different?
Her momentary focus on the numbers displayed on her scout her provided Conri with a slight edge. His foot would hook around her leg, a powerful jerk enough to yank her leg free of the loose grapple, but his knee had already been on the rise. While it didn't hit her in the face, it drove hard into her upper stomach, the sharp blow forcing air from her lungs. The audible exhale that followed would assure Conri that he had struck true, the force behind it causing her body to lurch upwards some in the air. Along with jolting her smaller frame, the connection would cause her onslaught of strikes to halt, but she did not remain idle for long.
Sucking wind, Akassa forces herself to move, lunging forward and slightly down to attempt wrapping her arms around his waist for a midair tackle. Gripping him tightly she then uses her bukujutsu to drive him down towards the city below. If strikes came in at her body she would take them, trying to use the time they were descending to fully catch her breath. Pending him escaping her grasp the Queen heads for the street, looking to use her own body to drive him into the ground. The force behind the impact would no doubt buckle the earth below them, the potential crater enough to jeopardize the stability of any nearby structures. Struggling to match him, Akassa's concern for the lives of those still in the city was nonexistent, besting him and solidifying her claim was everything. The Queen of Saiyans could not fail on the first step to expanding the Saiyan Empire, no matter the cost.

Bad was becoming worse with each passing minute on the Earth's surface, Akassa was taking strides in the fierce battle below and the city was suffering greatly with each strike, each blast, every action from every individual stacked upon the ever expanding pile of rubbish that festered. While some unison of combatants had been paired off into their singled off battles the whole thing event was mixed matched like three boxes of puzzle pieces tossed into a pile; with enough time and focus pictures would begin to form of what the end result might form to be but for the time being it was shear chaos.
Fire rained down on the city, buildings shook at their foundations, all the while the combatants on either side fought for their stake in the future ruler ship of the world; who was it that was really trying to save the world though? A good question Maya pondered over while in the absence of the fighting, having no direct threat towards her person the observational fleet gave her greater insight that those with loaded guns pointing at them. It seemed pointless of those who sought to "protect" their world to even take up arms and fight a battle they had no hope to see victory in; out gunned in terms of military strength the humans stood in the shadow of the Empire, to make matters worse on their behalf the attack came from no where. Maya though it odd that the humans would not think to have defenses up and ready against a Saiyan invasion, the two worlds were after all close to one another, how long- or more of, did they think peace would last with a people that consumed war and conquest like water. Unprepared... yes that was the right word to use. While the Earth fighters strove to protect their world the ending result was more death and destruction than most would have ever thought to witness in one life time. No cities would burn, no mangled bodies would be strung out across the blood caked streets, limbs torn from their sockets, flesh burned from face only for their lifeless eyes to watch as their beloved lives crumbled before what remained; if only they had knelt.
Kneeling... something so simple in idea that even trees could do it when a gale was strong enough, so much could have been spared, not just the structures that jutted from the world's surface but those that lived there. While watching from above Maya had taken notice of the lack of flames that would normally lick at the skies, something had gone wrong, a defense set up to deflect, to absorb the attack? Flipping through news waves Maya stopped on the one with the highest viewing rate, with a live coverage from somewhere in the cities depths the camera panned over the destruction that had already accumulated from prior impacts and attacks; there was disappointment to be had seeing just how little destruction had been caused by the fleet but disappointment changed to curiosity seeing the blue haired blur lashing out at the incoming barrage with his own energy.
"How... unexpected...."
There was no loss when it came to learning something new, however if Akassa could not hold the blue hair man for long enough then another volley would seemed deflated without purpose. It was the screaming voice of Akassa in Maya's mind that told her other wise; she was not one to go against Akassa's orders but it the action would be pointless if the human could not be crippled with a collar.
"Yes, Akassa."
Maya make it short, there was no need to distract Akassa with words in her current situation and Maya's point would be shot down like plane regardless of what she thought, this was after all Akassa's war, and Maya would follow commands with haste no matter what she asked of her. Following someone blindly was in all terms one's own downfall, Maya knew well of this, but if she did not she would have no place amongst Akassa's kind; it was the only home she had, there was no way she was going to let that slip through her fingers.
"We will be shifting the position of the fleet."
Maya spoke through the communication systems to the rest of the fleet. Having seen the original direction from the fleets attack it would be unwise to stay in such an position for the time being. The change in orbit was small but a with a new position they would be free to fire once again without expected direction or range.
Finding a new place for the fleet to occupy Maya fixed her focus down back the live streaming of the fighting below, while little could be seen through smoke and distance it did give her a better idea of what was happening. With a "spy" down below shots could be more accurate, more cunning and much more destructive, if not for the blue haired man. Another counter was possible with a following volley but if Akassa managed to keep his focus on her then the second wave could be more destructive than the last.
With the fleets cannon finally cooled down Maya gave the order to fire once again, with any luck the attack would be much more direct and create more damage that the first. Cannons lighting up once again they would rain down upon the city in a similar fashion as before but a slight twist, rather than having the fleet stay in position Maya gave order to move the fleet with each volley; a steady target was all so easy to hit but trying to hit one thousands of millions away was much more difficult especially when it was moving. Once the last shot was fired Maya would move the fleet once again from the location making the fleet an every moving target, changing direction and patterns of movement Maya would make sure to be a difficult, if not annoying target to hit.

If there was one thing that people should be wary about when it comes to Conri Lane, it is threatening innocent bystanders just because, that was a line that Akassa had crossed today. She had aimed to hurt innocent civilians for no other reason than her own pride, and that was a mistake she repeated even after Conri had tried to give her a chance to leave. That was his answer then he would not try to save her, and instead, everyone around was about to learn that kindness did not give him any sort of weakness.
"Fine," the one word said more than any amount of words could as not only did his demeanor change, but there was a subtle change in the aura around him. Akassa thought that he was weaker for his morals, but she had never seen him when he stopped playing around, neither had Invictus. Now, they would see what a truly angry Conri could do and while Akassa looked to take him down no matter the cost he would do much more regardless of the cost to him. When she was pushed back from the knee strike he took the time to construct a macro burst to launch into the air above the city, covering Central City more than easily and then some. It would serve as a wall of wind between the city and the attackers from space while also giving him time to deal Akassa as it moved up through the sky slowly.
Turning his attention to his opponent now as she rushed him, a foolish move to do now with her making it clear that he should not hold back. Letting her get in close he takes the spider silk from around his hands and moves to wrap it around her neck as she tackles him before throwing the two free ends in the opposite direction and holding them in place with his psychokinesis. If it worked and she continued her charge towards the ground then her speed would snap her own neck, but he wouldn't just let chance decide with that either. Summoning Fragarach to his left hand he shifted it into a gun and aimed it for the back of her head, before pulling the trigger repeatedly. This would only be his opening really, if she did managed to survive the attacks then he would have much more planned to deal with her and he wouldn't stop until she was lifeless on the floor for the threat she leveled against the people of Earth.
There had always been a side to him that was never about giving mercy, but he had never truly let it loose until this moment, it was a shame that it had to be aimed at someone he had considered a friend. It was her own choice, however, she had taken the path of a monster that would kill anyone for little to no reason and he would become his own brand of monster to remove the one threatening his people. (Sorry bout the short post, bad deal with moving and such that just left me drained)

With everything finally unraveled it became clear that the Saiyan's had already known how the planet would respond. She had come here as a simple stroke of her own ego and now it appeared to have backfired. Despite their relationship, Conri fought the hardest against her. Despite his naivity, his power overwhelmed the sky for a second time, and despite his explicit poor judgement he was still the only one engaged against her. They would indeed have words, and it appeared as though the King agreed. His own voice shook with a desperate rage Saito had never once heard from the man. It was fear. Buraddori was no coward. The man stood an immovable oak, housing thousands of creatures large and small. Yet even this oak knew that the hurricane before it could uproot the tree. It would kill each and every living thing inside. Conri lane was only a wall holding the hurricane at bay. A wall that could not do two jobs at once. Conri could not hope to advance against Akassa and defend against the barrage of cannon fire. While his second bout seemed to do the trick, it was only a matter of time until the warrior was so wrapped up in combat that he could no longer defend himself or the city. Knowing Conri, the city would not suffer.
He had to do something.
His power had finally reached the point of equality. He felt Akassa's power and was surprised to find that his own rivaled it. His fourth charge. His chest expanded further, it felt as though his muscles were pushing the breast plate out of the way. The pain could hardly be felt in comparison to the energy he was pouring in. His usual energy did not exceed a million. He was now at three and a half...no...four. He felt the hand touch his back, it was ice in comparison to the heat of his skin. Buraddori had done something and in an instant what had been an equal power boost became an overwhelming one. Saito knew what this was. In his time training with the veteran he had not only learned how to use his sword, but also witnessed several amazing abilities. The Fuhrer held the power to transfer his own power into anyone nearby at a sacrifice to his own, and though the King's power fell, his subject rose.
The inspiration was overwhelming. Not only the boost in natural energy to ease his own pain, but a confidence put within him. He had not wanted to fight against the Fuhrer's wishes. Had he been able to kneel for longer he surely would have. Knowing that Buraddori stood behind him both figuratively, and literally, he did something drastic. Something that took him back to his time on the lookout with Kaladar.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
"It's time for a rest Saito, your body needs rest."
The elder called out to his student. Having finally finished his training on both the Taiyoken and Kikoho, it was time to practice a skill that his hidden techniques demanded. Life force. Saito floated down to meet the guardian, his body steaming. His good eye opened only half way as he forced himself to keep eye contact. The pain was real. He had charged his life force to an unsafe level and his body began to ache. It was as if each cell in his body was working at half their normal strength. His sluggish descent was met with a stumble when he reached the ground. Taking a knee he wrested both palms on the ground and inhaled heavily. He wanted to ask questions but found the air was too difficult to aqcuire. Thankfully Kaladar was a telepath and spoke before Saito had the chance.
"You charged a mighty attack Saito, but it cost you two fifths of the entirety of your life force. Had you jumped again it would have meant certain death."
Listening carefully he felt the pain that had whelled up in his body. This was him at two fifths of his maximum potential? It was both empowering and excruciating. He recalled charging an attack against the once lively Brandon during his time on the lookout. The attack charged for a few moments before its release, and Saito felt relatively fine after. It had not held any significant side effects other than the usual loss of Ki. Yet now, after such a rapid charge, his body was in pain.
"The pain you are feeling is your bodies warning. There are five levels to the Life Force."
Saito regained his breath and stopped his master. He had read these already. They were in the previous Crane masters journal. He had not known what they meant before, but now stood more prepared.
"Yes Master. The first is the stage of life."
"Indeed Saito. The stage of life comes with a minor boost in energy, and usually has no drawbacks to it. You however are in the second stage."
"The stage of pain. Right."
Kaladar nodded, cracking a small style as Saito cringed through the words. Even in pain the two had a sense of humor.
"The next stage is known as the state of Limit. It is the final stage a being can reach and be awake after. Make no mistake, despite being awake the reduction of Ki is drastic, and exhaustion will set in."
"But isn't the next stage stronger?"
"Let's not dwell on the other two. Saito it is important you understand how dangerous they are. I forbid you from using more than three fifths of your life energy in battle under any circumstance. Using more than that will put you in a vulnerable place, and after releasing the final stage there is no turning back. You will die."
The words were sobering. He knew that Kaladar would not make up lies to scare him. Besides, the pain he felt in the second stage was too great to ignore, and using a third would be a truly drastic measure...

His teal energy began to darken, and with a mighty yell two of the buildings near Saito began to crumble. It had not been his intent, but the forceful energy that swarmed around him was too much for them to bare. The inner city they fought in had already been evacuated which meant no one was harmed, nor could Saito even focus on such trivial destruction. His arms were spread wide, his power hitting its maximum potential, and the green Ki swirling with the teal. From his fourth charge he jumped directly into his fifth, skipping the usual stepping stone of charging. His muscles tensed in a dramatic pulse of pain. His body stiffened further. Veins had already appeared around his major arteries and with one final push his energy charged as much as it possible could. It was as if a flood had taken hold of his body and finally reached the tip of his skull.
It would take him one final moment to gather his energy together for an attack. His only concern now was who to aim it at. The fleet above them would be decimated under the amount of Ki Saito had charged, yet before him stood Conri Lane and Akassa Hattori. Two fighters whose pride had caused this entire debacle. Aiding the Saiyan would end the chaos. It would stop Akassa's assault and that of her ships. But could he really fire at his comrad. The two had trained together on the lookout and at his school. He not only called Conri his guardian, but also his friend. But killing him would end all of this. With his energy charged, Saito would prepare to fire his attack. At whom was the only remaining question.
(I think I did the charges right. If I did I should have jumped from my 3 to 5. Skipping the fourth and fifth charge and using 3 life points.)
(Saito has 2 LF remaining and has used 1/3 of his Fuhrer charges.)

Post by Fuhrer King Buraddori (NPC) on May 26, 2015 20:43:52 GMT -5
The Fuhrer knew that his time in this battle was over. His power was not great enough to be of any help any longer to Saito. With his last effort that he knew would have some effect in this battle he had given what he could of his power to the younger man. Saito was his most trusted ally in this battle, and the fate of the Earth and perhaps too New Vegeta rested on the man’s shoulders. Buraddori removed his hand from Saito’s shoulder and looked around as buildings began to topple nearby. It hurt his heart to see. Thankfully the E.D.F had begun evacuation promptly, as had some of the other heroes.
Conri was doing a marvelous job of keeping the blasts from the Saiyan’s cannons from hitting the Earth. That was still something that The Fuhrer could not believe was happening. If Akassa’s goal had been to come here to take the planet over and establish a dominancy over Earth claiming that it was her right for the Saiyans having protected the planet before, than why was she placing herself in the role of villain and not savior?
Suddenly Kit’s energy rose. The power that he was amassing was terrific, enough to destroy worlds, and beyond. What exactly did he plan on doing with that much energy? Moreover, who did he plan on using it against, as there was no way that he was going to allow his own energy to harm the Earth. The Fuhrer held his breath. The battle for Earth could be over nearly as quickly as it started, and the decision of the victory may well lay on the shoulder of Saito.

Akassa fought with the same killing intent that Conri now possessed. She had come here looking for the respect she deserved and above all else he had shown her nothing, but disrespect. Part of the conflict was her delusion that all those weaker than her owed her the respect of a Queen, even those not under her rule. That inflated ego and her natural Saiyan pride coupled with the Champion's actions had driven her to this state. Like with her father and stepmother, she would hand out her own justice and take the Earth for the Saiyan Empire. The chance to come peacefully had been offered and rejected, now they would all bend to her will or she would break them. Conri had been a friend, whether any connection between them still existed, it was eclipsed by raw emotion now. Akassa was unwilling to take anything less than subservience and Conri was willing to die before bending his knee. One of them would not survive this.
Tackling him out of the air, Akassa was prepared to take the hits that came with such a maneuver. Always having been a brawler when it came to combat, it would not be the first time her own body had been sacrificed to deliver a hard blow to her opponent. Arms wrapped securely around him as she drove them down towards the street below, the sudden substance, invisible strands, on her neck had the Queen reacting quickly. As Conri used his spidersilk to try and secure, maybe even snap her neck, the Queen channeled Ki down her tail. The Ki blade that formed around its tip was as sharp as any sword, a flick of her tail slicing the silk away before it could do any real damage.
Not held back by his attempted restraints, the pair continued to spiral downward. Struggling with him the full way she saw the weapon forming out of the corner of her vision, thinking he looked to impale her before the struck. Instead he reshaped the sword into a gun, the larger half-saiyan then trying to press the barrel to the back of her skull.
Having no intentions of letting him just blast away at her, Akassa's right arm lets go of his torso and reaches for his arm. Grabbing ahold of his forearm she tries to press his arm out to the side, looking to take away the weapons angle. At the same time, wanting to keep her grip on him, her mechanical arm flexes. The precise motion, with her hand lifting, triggers the release of the blade hidden in her artificial forearm. Arm still wrapped around him the blade would most likely sink into his muscular lower back, biting into the muscle to secure her hold on him. Thankfully, the weapon was deployed not a moment too soon.
As soon as it had lanced out from her forearm, a bullet sized Ki blast slams into the side of her head...then another into her upper back. Grunting under the strain of fighting his arm, one gradually out powering her own. A little dizzy from the two blasts that connected, she does not release him. Forcing herself through the pain Akassa manages to hold on long enough for the two to strike the ground.
If her blade had managed to find its way into his back, the jarring impact would jerk the weapon and perhaps worsen his wound. The force behind their collision with the ground was more than enough to buckle the asphalt and dirt beneath it. From the point of impact a crater spreads, the Earth itself partially caving under the pressure. Around them the edge of the impact since spreads, dust and debris filling the air. Dozens of buildings around them had their foundations obliterated in an instant, the sudden lack of support toppling those that were not blown to pieces. As the two Super Saiyan's crashed into the ground, destruction erupted around them.
Bukujutsu propelling them downward, Akassa attempted to drive him as far into the Earth as possible. More might come from his gun as they went, but with rocks and dirt tumbling around them, most were unlikely to find their true target.

Though the trait of boredom was not one of which a computerize entity could necessarily exhibit it was the closet thing Maya could express at its current viewings; while yes, a battle for the fate of a world and by extension the fate of a Empire did flare below on the planets surface so little of it revolved around the alien that she saw little interest. By all means she very much wished to see Akassa claim victory with an iron fist but perhaps sitting in a lonesome ship firing lasers into the planets outer shell wasn't the way it envisioned its Friday night but she had hoped to see... more? It was irritating to watch all of her devised work to simply smear off to the sides of another's protruding "shields", Maya knew not which caused the fleets cannons to whimper and fade like a wounded beast, it was really down playing any role, any stake she had in any of this.
"Annoyance." She muttered to herself with a lofty sigh.
Steeping away from her own reflection of the ships window Maya backtracked till she once again found herself in the comfort of the commanders chair, normally it would have been Akassa that claimed such a position but with her absent and lack of motivation of commanding her dearest fleet the open position had fallen into the lap of Maya and she was more than happy enough to take it... at least she had though so at first. Now looking back she wondered if the idea of it all was the best, not just for her own self interest but for the over all plan of attack. She was by no means at the level of ability that Akassa was yet her abilities could let her stand alone; to some degree at least. On the other hand fighting was so barbaric, having to get down into the dirt and climb your way through battered bodies festering with sores and open wounds, the idea was not one of disgust but one of logical nature; why bother to strike someone with your hand if you could blow them away from space? Of course that idea was hard to apply in such a situation in which those which they faced could within stand an arsenal of fire from above and walk away without even fluttering their hair, let alone a single scratch.
Eyes wandering over the various screen that rested in the air before her Maya took toll of the situation, things as they stood were not necessarily bad nor good. Both sides pushed against the other looking more like a stalemate than any victor at the moment of course this was all through the vision of those brave or idiotic enough to venture close enough to record the battles that took place. The city was no longer one in which could be habitable, bodies lay limp, hanging from the shattered buildings; at least those that had been struck by the fleets cannons, flames tore at the cities with the quick winds tearing at their non- existent bodies. It was a grand site to behold from the offensive forces, not so much from the oppositions perspective but that was war; not enough on Maya's part seemed to have afflicted the city however. Through some means the orbital strikes held less effect than her simulations data would suggest, either someone, or something was interfering making her tasks all the more difficult.
Moving the ships around the Earth's orbit Maya pondering what form of attack should be subjected to the Earth now; clearly firing from orbit was not producing an outcome in which was viable to the assault and other methods should come next. By no means did Maya have any degree in military strategies, this was her first time in live combat against large opposing forces and while simulations of attack plans could only provide so much she simply lack enough raw data to formulate a plan in which the out come would be foreseeable. Council was something that Maya sought for; normally Akassa would be the first one which she would jump to with advisement but seeing as though she was deadlocked with others below Maya assumed she did not have the time in order to have a lengthy conversation about the arts of war. Nasu was always an option, however his strengths were gathered in the area's of physically fighting rather than leadership, if such a route she would take Maya was sure his response would be to crash the fleet into the Earth's surface because he would like the "pretty fires". Last there was General Toa, a loyal, hardy man with years of military experience under his belt, at the time he was the best choice to seek advice from but having no communication device such as Akassa had there was no way that Maya could voice her question directly. This left Maya with no one to seek insight from but it wasn't as though she had been doing terribly by herself, shielding was just something one would have to predict in the future to come but for now she would have to adjust accordingly.
"Divide the fleet. New coordinance will be up loaded."
If firing from space did little to effect the situation then land units would have to bring more results, now would be the best time to unload the shock troopers, long had they been waiting in the ships and they were ready to conquer. With the ships dividing into small groups they burst off around the globe for other cities that were scattered across the lands, since the invasion spot was already heated it was no place to drop troops who stood no feasible chance against the main Earth fighters. With each set of ships finding their landing zones they would being to off load the shock troopers in populated areas, most likely catching any local military forces of guard with their attention focused on the events in Central City; Maya on the other hand would stay above her own ship in high orbit to view the display below. She was still not sure where her effectiveness would be greatest as she could monitor the fleet from any location she chose.

At this point it didn't matter what Akassa's motives were, she had come to the planet as an invader and demanded that all of them surrender to her, what the others failed to know is the moment they did Akassa would not leave. She would have won and she would easily have the biggest card to use against them should they try to fight back, while the others would underestimate the new Queen of New Vegeta, Conri would most certainly not. He might have not known her perfectly, but he knew well enough to think that she would let any chance of a counterstrike be allowed, simply because she would have won. The Saiyans would have come to Earth and things would have eventually lead to deaths because of the arrogance of the Queen and her subjects that believed they were the greatest to grace the universe. He knew that she didn't respect humans, she had told him flat out that she thought that her human half was a weakness instead of embracing the strengths of being human, which is probably what also lead her to coming to Earth. She viewed the humans as weak, of course this would be the first 'stepping stone' for her, had he seen this from her before he would have tried to prepare more directly, but hindsight was a bitch like that.
Her tail formed a blade of Ki to cut at the spider silk ropes from around her neck as her one arm reached around to try halting his aim for the back of her head, and that lead her into his trap all too well. With her tightening the artificial arm around him more, despite the surprise of the blade piercing him and the pain that came with it he stayed focused on his task with a grunt through clenched teeth. When she swayed from the dizziness he spun the gun in his hand to hold it by his thumb and pinky, while the other three fingers aimed at her body and his arm pushed to get closer using the leverage he had against the poor positioning of her own arm to get as close as possible. Then he would fire his energy ring technique at her, to wrap her legs waist and shoulders in the binding rings of light. Their strength would at least by him time if it couldn't hold her for long, as he used his free hand to form Indra's Spear, the energy sparkling to life with a crimson bloom as his life energy went into the technique as well. Neither of these two would let pain get in the way of their fighting and he knew it better than anyone, the last time they had fought it had been a similar situation if not also on friendlier terms.
As they crashed into the asphalt he could feel the pain surging throughout his body, however, there was no time to dwell on that as he aimed to stab the trident-like energy into her chest; more specifically he was aiming to stab it into her heart. Should he succeed the second stage of the technique would activate and the full propulsion would send her back up into the air where the spear would then detonate in a powerful explosion. Whether his technique struck or not, he would signal to Saito to attack with his next action as he Aura flared to full life and he pulled on all the power reserves that he could reach. If he was worried about the Earth getting caught Conri could do something to prevent too much damage from occurring to the planet. It was all just a matter of how his luck played out, and hopefully they would be able to put an end to Akassa so that they could finish dealing with the others and show everyone else that Earth was not an easy target for anyone.
He had taken a lot of hits and used a lot of energy, but he had no intentions of slowing down either if Akassa was still standing, it was time to put an end to all of this and he wasn't going to be holding back anything. If his body could keep going then he would keep pushing it to the limits, the wound on his back bleeding and the sweat on his brow were nothing more than distractions right now. The power that was flowing through him demanded that he keep fighting and end the one that threatened to harm the citizens for no good reason, proving to him that she truly had stooped to a new low and brought the Saiyan race down with her. (Hopefully this all flows well and makes sense, lemme know if anything is off!)

The destruction around them was almost too much for Saito's heart to bare. Now more than ever he could sense the energy of the living things around him. Most of the people had been evacuated. Most of them. There were still some that had not found their way, some that were unable to find safety. They were the minority and yet their lives weighed heavily on his mind. The energy in his body pulsed with the beating of his heart, and an electrical pulse had begun to explode from around his skin. It was a pain he knew he could not sustain. Their energy signatures, like faces and names, he felt like he knew them all. He felt as though each living being within the city was personally attached to him. He felt the fights taking place throughout the massive metropolis. He felt the personal energy of Nasu and Kursosunai as they charged against one another. He felt the attack energy of Carla and the defensive energy of his brother against the mighty general. He felt the decadence of Saiyan forces as they slowly began to lower themselves into the Earth's atmosphere. Most of all he felt the energy of those below him. Saito had been floating above the northern quadrant of the city and below him stood Akassa Hattori, Conri Lane, and a few smaller signatures of people still fleeing the area.
They were all going to die.
It was not a prophecy Saito made without knowledge. It was not a baseless prediction. As his arms outstretched and each palm opened he knew what his next move had to be. Conri was struggling in his combat, making unnecessary and dangerous attacks. He was not fighting Akassa in a battle of endurance. He knew what was coming. He had distracted her with all of his might and the time had finally come. There was no escape. Both of his thumbs connected, as did his index and middle finger. The power that had been pulsing through his body began to pour into his hands. The green and teal energy swirling together into a far brighter green energy. His hands burned with anticipation, and his chest rose in anguish. Not for himself, but for those below him. He didn't want to kill them. His teeth scraped together as he grunted in frustration and pain. Why had they forced him? Why hadn't Conri just knelt down!? Why had Akassa broken a treaty older than any of them!? The two monsters below him fought on pride and hubris. If they could only understand that there was another way. There was always another way.
The words echoed in his mind. There must be another way. How can I end this? How can I save them all? But he couldn't
It occurred to Saito that for the first time there was genuinely no other way. He couldn't injure Akassa and make her leave. He couldn't disable Conri and calm her down. He was wrong, there wasn't another way. Not this time. Not with so much at stake. Behind him in the southern part of the city was his dojo, his home. On the other side of the world atop Mt. Paozu lived his family. His mother and brothers. His sisters and even his own father. In the deserts lived a small village, home to Jen and her siblings. In the icy mountains lived Master Rowan and the other recently freed humans. Atop the lookout stood Kaladar and Popo, his trusted teachers and friends. The Earth was filled with those he loved and cared for, and there had never been a time that he had failed them. When Kemuri demanded domination, he gave his right eye for their survival. When Tundra came to annihilate the planet, he reached a new level of power to push him back. Now, as Akassa Hattori blustered and demanded her rein be supreme, Saito stood the most capable of defending against her. He wasn't the strongest fighter, nor did he care for their politics, but Saito held the trigger to what was undoubtedly the greatest amount of pent up Ki any of them had ever seen, and he was about to let it go.
Because beyond his own delusions of peace rested the words of his trusted master and King. They were not just going to destroy the city. If they continued to fight, they would destroy the entire planet. No longer would Kaladar sit atop the lookout. Jen and her siblings would face an instant and fiery death. Master Rowan and all of his village would see the sweet embrace of freedom ripped from them once more, and his family would be killed. The fuhrer knew this, and now Saito felt it. He had to stop them. Even at the cost of what stood down his sights. He had to end this.
"Ki"
He growled, a low scratchy command. His energy began to glow brighter, the cackling of electricity ripping at his fingertips. His life energy pouring into his palms. How had this happened? Just over a year ago Saito was no more than a student under his father. The second eldest of his clan, yet a spec of nothing. He could still be there, his body training in a mediocre setting with other boys who never stood a chance. He would have never ventured into central city. Never brought up the walls of his school, and never earned the title of master. But he had earned it. In the city, deep underneath the earth. Underneath Itan's defensive shielding and underneath that of Ethan's sat a dozen boys tired and scared. They were his boys, his students. They had come to him for guidance and training. They trusted him. For that, he loved them.
"Ko!"
This time he took aim. His triangular sign aiming downward towards the Saiyan Queen. She had been thrust into the air by Conri and was in the perfect position to be hit. A direct attack. She hadn't paid Saito any mind at all during the debacle and now would be attacked from behind, he body in midflight. If only it were she who would suffer the most. If there were any Gods at all she would die first, but she would not be the last. There wasn't any way Saito could prevent that. He had to gather this much energy to kill her, and that meant killing those beneath her as well. How ever many dozens of civilians that hadn't evacuated. The businesses and homes, and most of all, the new Guardian of Earth. Not a few months into his reign and already Conri stared down the barrel of a loaded Tri-beam.
"HO!"
He released. All of his charged energy finally released in one glorious and destructive blast. A triangle of energy flew from his palms directly at the Queen of the saiyans. It was faster than a strike of lightning as it left his hands and before Saito could even register the damage the explosion occurred. Massive in scope, and brighter than the midday sun it unleashed upon the city. The Kikoho was not known for being subtle or gentle, and the explosion would rock not only the city, but the entire side of the planet. Though only a light shake for those half way across the world, Central City would feel its wrath. The buildings directly in the blasts path didn't stand a chance, obliterating completely. Those within a thousand yards of the blast radius would undoubtedly collapse, falling apart at the energy slapped the ground and broke through the crust. Everything outside of the radius stood standing, but shook violently. His school was within that radius, its walls shaking and within moments cracking under the pressure. The shield Ethan had put up stood only to help against the initial blast. The aftershock would rock the foundation and the school he had spent so many months crafting with his own two hands. The school he and his brother had painstakingly put together, would crumble beneath its masters might. The city directly below him? A deep crater.
The blast back from the attack was immense. After its release Saito himself would be pushed back, his body very quickly burning with outward and inward pain. With three fifths of his life energy drained he found himself unable to control his body as it flew through the air like a ragdoll, eventually arking downward and sending him into a pile of what was once a mighty sky scraper. It was as though his body was lacking all of its blood. His mouth was dry as were his eyes. His nervous system screamed in a manner he could practically hear, and his body continued to pulse as his heart rate stung to an alarming speed. It fought to supply him with blood, his lungs burned to provide air. If not for the Fuhrers small boost to his energy, Saito likely would have passed out. That little bit of energy would be used in the best way he saw possible. To sense.
His students were still alive, but what of those around him?

(Permission given by the Fuhrer to go ahead and skip him as he is quite busy this week. The King still aids those looking to escape the city and would save all he could before Saito's blast levels part of the city. Also Saito, I wanted to correct your life force charges, I was wrong the other day when you asked. 1 charge was used to boost your attack and 1 charge was used to fire Kikoho in general, leaving you with 1/3. Sorry for the confusion! ) Her struggle with Conri was proving more difficult than she would have ever thought, his new found strength more than she could handle. The way he managed to overpower her arm was the perfect example…somehow he had surpassed her in terms of raw strength. That meant all she had left was her superior willpower, the indomitable will that was the Queen of the Saiyan people. Such drive and her well condition fortitude was what allowed her to hang onto him after the shot into the side of the head, that and the blade embedded in his back. Blood ran freely down the side of her face, cheek coated in red as they dropped downward. Her reckless tackle had cost her once already and it was about to cost her more.
So close to him, she had no way of avoiding the three rings that wrapped themselves around her frame. One secured itself around her thighs, trapping her legs and tail while the other two constricted tight around her waist and shoulders, pinning her right arm. The only appendage left free was the hand that had been still clutching him, her mechanical limb. Trapped in his cowardly technique, Akassa drove him down into the ground with a cry, the earth buckling beneath them. Even as they struck she saw Conri was not done, summoning forth a spear. It seemed that his weaponry had improved since their last skirmish, a whole array of new attacks being displayed this battle. The Queen would employ her own to deal with him.
Her body was mostly secured, that was true, but her arsenal contained a number of attacks that needed neither arms nor legs to be effective. With a thought a Ki barrier springs to life around her, coating her frame in a thin protective film of energy. On top of that she would will her Blade Armor into place, the Ki based suit of armor forming around her body, pressing the rings that contained her outwards. Still restrained she could not avoid the thrust from his newly formed weapon, but the armor and barrier protecting her did not allowed the tip of the spear to find flesh. Instead it stuck into the armor itself, lodging itself their temporarily as he released it.
Losing her grip on the Champion, Akassa was thrown up into the air, spear shoving her away from the blue haired fighter. Needing to break free of the rings she activates the blades within her armor, swords made entirely of Ki lancing out from the suit to slice through the binding circles. Now freed from her restraints she swings her arm outwards, the back of her gauntlet slapping the spear aside, her now flying frame twisting as she pushes it away from her chest. Starting to chuckle at the clever use of her techniques to break free, her laugh was cut off as the weapon exploded in the air several meters away from her.
In her struggle she had failed to hear the voice of Saito Kito in the air above and slightly to the side of her. The energy he had been charging this entire time had pushed the man to his limit and he was no longer able to contain such power within him. Luckily for him, he did not need to. With the final syllable of his attack the beam shot forth for its target. By sheer coincidence or timing, Akassa would never know, the blast reached her just as the spear she had dislodged from her chest detonated. In a small way the blasts worked against each other, but the Indra’s Spear was far from powerful enough to deter the life-force charged beam of the Crane School Master.
Akassa’s only potential saving grace was that she had cloaked herself in two layers of protective Ki…but it wasn’t enough. The dual explosion was unlike anything she had ever felt. Heat washed over her as the world turned white, her eyes unable to take in any detail save the blinding energy that was erupting around her. The combined explosion would no doubt threaten all of them, even the powerful Conri below, but she was closest to the epicenter. The Queen’s cry of pain was drowned out by the roar of the overlapping explosions.
A moment later, when the initial flash of detonation had cleared, those able to see anything at all would see Akassa’s body hurtling across the sky, golden aura flickering in and out as she corkscrewed through the air. Her armor was gone, the energy of the Kikoho having seen to that. The speed at which she had been propelled from the point of impact was extreme, her smoking body tumbling and rolling violently as it went. Towards the outskirts of the city she flew, smoke trailing in her wake before she finally slams into one of the outlying buildings. The structure of steel and concrete was no match for the projectile that was the Queen's body, bending and buckling as she fell through it.
Golden hair having returned to its natural black, Akassa felt herself hit the ground as the building came down on top of her. The pain she felt made it clear her body was suffering, but it was all felt through a haze. The Queen’s mind was elsewhere, reliving flashes of a dream she had weeks before coming to Earth. Not a dream…a nightmare. She had seen the bodies of her allies, of her friends dead amongst the ruins of a city surrounded in a smoky haze. Through that fog a voice had reached out to her with accusatory words.
“You did this Akassa. Their deaths are your fault.”
Her fight against Conri Lane had been with everything she had, all her determination and her power…but it had not been enough. The Fuhrer and Saito had no doubt exhausted themselves to aid the Guardian of Earth, but they would recover given time. Conri himself was no doubt caught in the same blast that had consumed her, but he would recover as well. Without her what would happen to Nasu, Maya and Toa? What would happen to them now that she had failed them?
