Lights still in his eyes Sebastian could not clearly see the individuals before them, at least not in a great amount of detail. What he saw were the outlines of the various skimmers as he waited for the riders inside of them to disembark. Even without his eyes the blonde was well aware that there were several signatures he was not familiar with, knowing a trio of the passengers were at least relatively new to Belegost he was anxious to find out who they were. Squinting through the cursed headlights the Cardinal saw one of the skimmers hatches slide open as a figure pulled itself out. Able to see a decent outline of the individual Sebastian was fairly confident he was human, the man soon introducing himself.
”I am William Watson; pleasure to meet you.” A small smile began to take shape on the blonde human’s face, thinking that this was going to be another pleasant round of interactions similar to when the first trio of explorers had come across him. The only thing that prevented it from being exactly the same was this William Watson was gathering energy behind him, presumably in his hands, both of which were tucked neatly behind him. With his current base level at 45,000 and more power hidden in reserves the Cardinal had no reason to worry about the strange reaction yet, perhaps the man was just playing it safe since he was on a strange world, understandable. The second of the individuals took a different approach then stepping free of the craft, the hidden member of the team signature starting to drop down from what he had originally read it as. Another interesting reaction, was this one familiar with Ki sensing abilities? Sebastian had already taken a read on all of them so regardless of how low the stranger suppressed it the blonde what level he could reach with a thought.
Quite a patient man Sebastian continues to wait for the other two to exit their skimmers, his attention drawn from them for a moment as a familiar voice calls out from behind him.
“Mr. Watson!”
With an eyebrow arching the Cardinal was surprised that Zero had caught up so quickly and even more surprised that he knew the man standing before him. So the parties were familiar with each other then? Now that seemed to be more than just a coincidence, the android obvious knew the man in front of him from some previous experience…they must have traveled here together even if riding in two ships. The fact this had not been brought up before hand was curious indeed, had the first team been trying to hide the existence of the other for some reason? In several more seconds Sebastian was sure he knew why.
From the third skimmer, the slumping man in the second still trying to hide himself, the third member of their group arose. Squinting and shielding his eyes the best he was able with his hand Sebastian looked the man over. He had strange blue hair, lighter than the blues mixed into the Cardinals own outfit. The man’s clothes were the opposite of Sebastian’s, mostly black compared to his clean white, but the feature that stood out most was the tail that came from his backside. Seeing the silhouette of the appendage the blonde lets out a sigh…things had been going so well. A Saiyan had come to the home of the Universal Church of One, something that Sebastian De’Vont, Cardinal of Truth could just not allow.
Able to read the Saiyan’s power level, assuming the beast was at least capable of using that monstrous Oozaru form Sebastian unleashes is full power, the human’s signature still unreadable as his blue aura bursts to life, his power quadrupling up to 180,000. ”I am sorry, I do not know your name, but you chose to come here…a grave mistake. Arpatiko, prevent the others from interfering. Use force if necessary.” Not being an overly violent man Sebastian still had a duty, the Saiyan race having brought this fate upon themselves. In his mind it was a simple matter, the Church and the Saiyans could not coexist, one needed to be eliminated.
With his short statement the Cardinal draws his blade in one quick motion as he launches himself towards the blue haired Saiyan. Now at his full power the human attacks the Saiyan directly, opening his assault with a one handed horizontal slash. As the blade swung inward those able to follow his fast movements might notice the feint blue glow around the edge of the blade, hinting at more than just a keen edge. Luckily for Conri he had already removes his weights for he might be fast enough to move out of the way, if not…his body would drop towards the cavern floor in two pieces.

It seemed that his waiting for an answer was pointless, as even without needing to directly see the human, he could see the aura around him bursting to life. Unable to sense the man's power level, there was no point in holding himself back, especially not when those words were spoken either. This was the cardinal, one of those lowlife bastards that needed to be put down for the betterment of the universe, and if nothing else they needed to answer to Conri for what they did. Before he could finish talking Conri let his own aura loose and released his full power raising it up to just shy of one hundred and eighty thousand. "Oh, I came here for a purpose. Wiping out you scumbag members of the church is just a bonus that I happened to come across," if this jackass wanted a fight then Conri was more than ready to give it to him. When he gave the order to Arpatiko, however, he knew that the alien would be obeying as the creature had told them that already before they had taken the elevator down. That was actually a bit better in his mind, he would be able to handle the enemy in whatever way he wanted, and the Cardinal would soon learn who he was up against here.
"As for my name, it's usually polite to give your own first," he gave a smirk, granted it was probably not going to get an answer. Still, he was going to let loose here, he had nothing to hold him back except for his own power and that was going to be the deciding factor against this enemy. When he came at him with the sword, the Half-Saiyan could see the blue glow around the edge, and didn't want to see what the result would be if he just took the attack. Drawing Fragarach he channeled his own Ki through his, gathering it for his Radiant Edge technique and holding it around the edge. With this he moved to block the sword and would unleash his technique when the swords were right against each other. He didn't know what type of technique it was or how powerful it would be, but he would still try to break his opponent's sword with his own. Whether that happened or not he would have to see, but there was something else he could do in that time as well.
The attack on the sword would not be the end of it from Conri; he had been waiting for the moment that he could face a member of the Church for a long time in battle like now. Before anything else would be senses, the hairs on the back of the necks of both men would start to stand as the Half-Saiyan gathered electricity from every source around them. Then a bolt of lightning shot up from beneath them aimed at the Cardinal as Conri hoped to see this bastard get electrocuted, there was nothing that was going to stop him from pummeling this guy into the ground. He would use everything in his arsenal to see to that, and as long as Arpatiko kept that others busy, there was no one to truly stop him from finishing the job either. The first thing he had to do was beat this guy, and without being able to sense his power, that was going to be hard to do. His eyes glanced toward where Zero was, however, wondering if the other two were safe and with him as well, before returning to his target.
This battle was likely to shake the underground with the two powers waging their war against each other, but he would need to stick to concentrated attacks to prevent collateral damage. He was still keeping his promise to Arpatiko, after all, and there was no way he would endanger lives just to deal with this Cardinal. (Lemme know if this is alright or not and what needs to be changed)

Quickly closing the gap between himself and the unwelcomed Saiyan, Sebastian leads the way with his blade. His small announcement and order to Artapiko had bought his opponent the time he needed to drop his training weights and power up to his maximum strength. As his blade slammed against his foes sparks flew, the two weapons grinding against each other as both refused to break. Leaning in, pressing his weight into the weapon, Sebastian looked his opponent directly in the eye for the first time. There was anger there, the warrior having his own reason for hating the Church like so many others. The Cardinal wondered how much he truly hated him as they had never met, yet their duty to their respective factions required them to fight against each other. If Sebastian had not attacked would Conri have come over and shook his hand…most likely not.
”My name is Sebastian De’Vont and I am the Cardinal of Truth for the Universal Church of One. Who do I have the honor of fighting?” Foe or not Sebastian respected anyone that could match him in power, whether or not they believed in the one true Aon or were genetically reconstructed monsters. This Saiyan he fought was simply born on the wrong side of the board, the two forced to fight against each other because of the worlds they were born into. The Universal Church of One had its goals and Sebastian would see them through, it was not his fault this blue haired Saiyan had traveled here.
Waiting for an answer he does not receive one before the hairs on the back of his neck begin to stand up. No stranger to such attacks the Cardinal knew what was coming ,or at least had a solid idea of the type of attack he was about to deal with. Knowing he needed to move from his current position, but not able to move without the chancing a hit from his foes blade Sebastian attempts to create an opening. So close together he pulls his head back to drive his forehead into the Saiyan’s attempting to hit him hard enough so that he can pull away, the force of the headbutt perhaps enough to push the man back as well, further separating them from the skimmers and the others.
As soon as the headbutt hit, assuming it was strong enough to push his foe back, Sebastian spins to the side, the bolt of lightning that rises from below barely missing him. The powerful bolt lances up into the ceiling far above, rock blasting apart as the bolt rips through the stone. Spinning more to the side to move even farther from the others assembled in the cavern Sebastian holds his sword out in front of his chest. The edge of the blade still glowed blue, but the Cardinal does not attack. In fact he waits for his opponent to introduce himself, the soldier preferring to know the name of those that he fought. Floating in the air he waits patiently, having every confidence that he will win this fight regardless of this Saiyan’s strong will.

It seemed that neither of their swords were of the normal kind as they clashed filled with the power of their respective wielders. Neither side really gaining the edge and as his opponent leaned in, he did as well and let the full reach of his anger be seen, like a raging fire threatening to burn everything away. The difference was that this fire was directed at the man and the church that he was a part of, there was no place for forgiveness in his heart for these people. They had crossed a line that should never even be looked at, and to reward them, he would bring them crashing to the ground with such force the universe would feel it. Then the man gave his name and the supposed title that he was awarded by the church, which only served to anger Conri even more, what did these bastards know about truth?
"My name is Conri Lane, I am a Half-Saiyan from Earth, I was a husband and a father. I am here on their behalf, and you all will pay for murdering them," it was clear what he meant by his words, he didn't care about what excuses the church made, murder was murder. When the headbutt hit, he moved back a ways from the force of the hit, watching as his opponent stood there in waiting. He would use the time to recover from the headbutt then and clear his head, the difference between him and this member of the church was about to become clear very soon. The more important issue was that Conri wasn't going to let Sebastian rest any more than what he had to, and with that thought he flew at the human swinging Fragarach at the Cardinal's sword to keep it occupied.
The next part is what would hopefully be a surprise to the Cardinal, as he rose his knee up quickly and aimed it right for Sebastian's crotch. If it hit and the man bent over from it, then Conri would bring Fragarach around in an attempt to behead the man right there and then without any hesitation. If it didn't then he would instead aim a punch for the Cardinal's face in an attempt to break his nose and hopefully start to hinder him in some way. He didn't think that the fight would go his way immediately, and that was fine, he was in this for the long haul and prepared to do what was necessary to take this bastard down. Then he would aim for the rest of the church that was on the nearby planet.
Worst case scenario for Conri was even if he didn't win was just making sure that this Cardinal didn't either, even if that meant sacrificing himself. It wasn't the most pleasant option to have on the table, but he had no idea how the battle would go. This was just a worst case plan on the chance that everything went wrong with his battle plans and he found himself in a no win situation.

Conri Lane…Sebastian didn’t know the name, but then again he didn’t know the name of many Saiyans, the only names the Cardinals were required to learn was that of the Hattori family. Tsuyo Hattori, Natisha Hattori, Ninjin Hattori, Leke Hattori and Akassa Hattori. That was the list of names that they had all learned and in that order, a list that was ordered by priority as to which one was their largest target. In time all the Saiyan’s were going to be dead, but those five were priority targets…the death of one of them would be a huge blow to the Saiyan people as a whole. As Conri and him faced off there was a good chance that Aer Nin had already succeeded in her task, the Saiyan home world no more. Here on Belegost Sebastian only had one foe and his name was Conri Lane.
”I murdered no one Half-Saiyan. It is always the same with your kind. You curse us for the lives that we have taken, but we are only removing individuals that should have never existed. What of all the people that your precious race has killed? I don’t hear you demanding the Saiyan King to stand trial for the murders he has committed.”
Only having put some distance between the two of them with the head butt Sebastian was ready when his foe charges back at him. His duty was to eliminate any Saiyan he came across, but few he had met had the courage of this one as he rushed at him head on. Courage was a wonderful trait in a warrior, but ultimately useless if you did not lack the skill or power to support it.
In came his opponents sword, Sebastian’s own lifting to intercept it, the Cardinal only seeing the knee at the last moment. Shifting his leg to the side as the cheap attempt at a low blow slams into his thigh instead of his groin. It still hurt, the Half-Saiyan’s knee cap digging into the muscle in his leg as it would no doubt leave behind a bruise. What was more of an issue was the fist that slammed into this nose, snapping his head back some as the Cardinal felt warmth dripping from it as the attack bloodies him slightly. Darting backwards through the air Sebastian was quick to counter attack.
”A cheap attempt to gain the upper hand…I am disappointed, but not surprised.”
As he pulls backwards, quickly putting several yards between them Sebastian swings his sword as if trying to deliver a horizontal slash, the blade far from coming close to his target at this distance. As the weapon cuts through the air though, the blue energy wrapped around its edge appears to peel off, the charged Ki arching out in what could best be described as a thin whip of blue energy. The long strand of Ki would snap at the blue haired fighter’s chest in an attempt to open him up before it is drawn back in to line the blades edge once more.

Just by his expression he could tell this guy didn't know his name, but that was fine, it was better that the Church didn't see him coming then. It would make what he was going to do to them all the more enjoyable and this sonofabitch would be the first one to have a taste of just what his anger was like when he unleashed it. Of course, then he started to speak and tried to defend the church with the same bullshit that they always spewed out when it came to killing people. Although turning it around on Tsuyo in an attempt to call it out on him, he had to laugh, did this guy actually think Tsuyo was his king?
"Well, first of all, there are a few things wrong with that. First, I was born on Earth, which means Tsuyo doesn't get any claim over me whatsoever. Second, who says I'm not going to do that after I'm done dealing with you assholes? Finally, this is the most important so you better listen up. YOU AND YOUR ASSHOLE GOD DO NOT GET TO DECIDE WHO SHOULD OR SHOULD NOT EXIST! You dumbasses blindly following genocide as if it is something normal, you say you didn't kill them but you believe the same bullshit the rest of your idiot cardinals do, right? That makes you just as bad as they are, unless right here and right now, you give me a reason to not label you the same kind of monster."
He was going to give this Cardinal a chance, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to attack him, far from it in fact. The attack to the crotch didn't work, but he managed to strike the leg muscle all the same. His punch managed to land and do the most damage, however, which did make him smile a bit. It meant that he wasn't that inept to get taken down so easily, and that Conri could inflict more pain on him. His words caused a laugh from the Half-Saiyan, that he thought it was meant as a cheap shot to get the advantage, rather than what the true purpose of it.
"Actually, I just have no reason to treat you or anyone else from the church with honor. That's reserved for people worth it," the words being spoken with honest sincerity.
When the attack came, however, he was better prepared for it than the last time as he moved backwards from the whip-like energy. The attack grazing his chest instead of fully cutting into it, he could feel the warmth of his blood rolling down his chest, they both drew blood now. Although, he did realize something as well, if the church wanted to fight him and treat him like a full Saiyan than he was going to unleash his power like a full Saiyan. Moving further away from the human, he held his hand out palm up as he began to gather a large amount of Ki into it, forming a sphere of energy. Throwing it into the air, he began the ever famous transformation that Saiyans were known for, as he visibly began growing in size.
As he did, fur began to sprout from his body, oddly enough it was the same color as his natural hair. That's right ladies and gents, this was the first ever blue Oozaru, and despite the color it was just as terrifying as his normal colored brethren. When he was fully transformed, he was standing at fifty feet tall filling up quite a large portion of the air now, and still suspending himself with Telekinesis. With his full body being much larger as well as his power, he would be able to deal a lot more damage to his opponent now, even though this wasn't the exact plan.
Letting a little of his primal side out, the Half-Saiyan let out a deafening roar that echoed throughout the cavern, amplifying the sound thanks to the acoustics. When that was done he focused his attention on his opponent and opening his hand sent out a single strand of his spider silk to attempt to wrap Sebastian in it before hurling him towards the furthest wall. It had been a while since he took this form and the power brought with it a familiar feeling that sent shivers through his spine, but he couldn't get lost in this, he had to focus on his enemy. Focus on destroying them completely.

The Saiyan race had not changed with its recreation. Despite hundreds of years between its extinction and rebirth the genetics of the species, no matter how diluted they may have been, were no different than before. Sebastian had studied history, studied how the Saiyan’s had been back in their hay day. Even some of the last and most famous “heroes” had been violent creatures. He wondered if the race saw how unnatural it was that they had returned to the Universe and what it would eventually mean for it. So far they had remained on their little Moon, not traveling off often, but enough that their true nature had been revealed. It was only a matter of time before they returned to their ancient ways, the race given a second unnatural chance at life…one that The Universal Church of One did not plan on letting come to fruition.
As he listened to Conri Lane his opinions were only reinforced. The rage that quickly flowed from the half-saiyan was not unexpected, the blonde human meeting the torrent of anger with a calm stare. Hovering in the air Sebastian wondered if he saw the hypocrisy in his own words. The Church didn’t get to choose who existed, but Conri had the right to choose who did? Enemy or not the Universal Church of One consisted of living creatures, all of them having their own soul. Some had never even taken a life, yet because of the God they worshipped it seemed Conri planned to eliminate them all. That was of course if he could defeat Sebastian first. As for the lack of honor…Sebastian was fine with that, a beast never recognized a power that was great then it.
Blue energy arched out from his blade, but now fully engaged in combat the blue haired half-saiyan was much faster than when Sebastian had rushed him before, but not fast enough. Instead of delivering the gruesome wound he had hoped for he only manages a glancing blow, red blood flowing from his foe’s chest. Both sides had bled now, both equally committed to their cause, and both of them knew their side to be in the right.
When Conri began to pull back the human expected a ranged attack, some sort of blast that he planned to deftly handle with his blade. When the sphere began to form in his opponents hand though he knew exactly what he was in for. With the Saiyan race as their strongest enemy the Cardinals of the church had all seen what this attacked looked like as part of their mandatory training. Up into the air, coming to a rest near the top of the cavern went, the ball of energy while the half-saiyan began to shift. The blonde had also seen this form before, but admittedly not in the color that this unique warrior sported. In videos and simulations he had seen black, brown and even tan apes, never a blue one. As the beast grew to its full size, massive frame roaring Sebastian’s eyes went wide……but not in surprised, in preparation.
If this beast was to think that the Universal Church of One had no way to handle the Saiyan’s famous and powerful form then he was an even bigger fool than most. Still some distance away the Cardinal lifts his sword up in front of his face, both hands holding the hilt as the edge of the blade pulled close, resting just between his eyes.
”Aon allow me to see more than this heretic, guide my sight so that I may purge his foul existence from the Universe.” The prayer was a simple one, but it was all that was needed. Eyes still wide, looking up at the floating orb above them Sebastian’s reacts to the blutz waves as well. Blue aura doubling in sizeas it now resembled a raging cobalt flame, his wide eyes taking on a glowing hue of the same color. From his now monotone stare blue energy rose like smoke into the air as power poured forth from him. Of course with his coat still on and intact no one would be able to realize his power had just doubled to 360,000. Through the power of Aon the Cardinals of the Universal Church of One could harness the power of the Saiyan’s greatest weapon for themselves.
”Behold Conri Lane, the true power of my faith.” Now at his maximum potential Sebastian was prepared to fight even if he wasn’t prepared for the almost invisible thread of Ki that slammed into him. The strand of whatever it was wrapped tightly around his body as it sent him slamming back into the cavern wall. Stone cracked as he hit and stuck, eyes glaring at the monster across from him. No strand of adhering Ki was going to hold him.
Forcing more Ki into his sword the blue edge it maintained grew brighter as it intensified. Muscles straining as the amount of energy around his weapon continued to increase Sebastian heaves forward with his arms, his sword cutting through the strand as he breaks free of the Spider Silk. Never wasting his energy or time in a fight as serious as this there was more to his attack then simply freeing himself. The human’s arms continued forward to full extension as his sword snapped down into a horizontal state. All the extra energy that he had gathered into the weapons lanced out in a beam of blazing blue Ki. A Saiyan’s Oozaru form was powerful, but it was also a larger target and Sebastian aimed the burning beam of Ki right for Conri’s massive chest.
(Aon’s Blessing activated. Power Level now at 360,000.)

The funny thing was the Cardinal didn't realize that he was just blindly following something without questioning or even thinking about things. It was the one thing that he learned from the others, they were just told to attack and they simply obeyed without wondering why they were committing genocide against people. Especially when it extended to those outside of just Saiyans as well, but this guy wouldn't likely think anything against that either. Still, the one thing that Conri did have going for him was that he didn't have to act the way that these guys expected him to, and he would use that to his advantage. A smirk ever plastered to his face now, which was somewhat odd that a giant ape was smirking, somewhat scary as well if one were to think about it. Then the really funny thing happened after Conri transformed, was that the Cardinal seemed to be using the Moon Ball to power himself up. That was the best thing that the Half-Saiyan could have seen, that the church used something from their enemy.
"Ha ha ha, oh that is too rich, you can't even come up with something unique! Here I thought you were a creative bunch and all you can do is imitate the Saiyans?! A piss poor imitation at that, and leaving me so disappointed with your god. He should have something better up his sleeve as well, ah well, at least it won't be such a one-sided fight," he continued to laugh wiping some tears from his eyes. That had been too good for him, they act all high and mighty then the best they could do was use the Moon Ball to become a bit stronger? It wasn't even a full on transformation, sure he didn't know the exact power coming from him, but his techniques were a different story. Even if he couldn't sense the power from the man, feeling the power behind his strike was more than enough to tell him the general range of his opponent. So with him powering up with the Moon Ball, they were probably close in strength once more, the man wasn't acting like he could end the fight with a single blow so it was more likely not stronger than Conri.
"Oh yeah, the true power of your faith, to turn into a giant lantern! I can see where that would come in handy, I mean god knows how many times I had to walk into a dark room only to hit my knee on a table. Sure it didn't hurt, but its the principle of the thing, right?" that everlasting smirk showing the Cardinal just what the Half-Saiyan thought of his new little trick. He could hear the crack of the rocks on the other side of the cavern and chuckled a little, he knew the spider silk wouldn't last against the sword, but it had done its job. Now it was time for the rest of him to start causing some pain as well, granted he would have to deal with that new beam attack that was headed his way, but that was alright too. Conri had a means to deal with that, he would still hurt, but the damage would at least be reduced and he might get the surprise factor from his opponent.
Concentrating on his fists, he gathered some of his life force before wrapping it around both of his arms, as the crimson energy that was his Sankanken. It would hit him, but he would be alright, there was still plenty of more power and fight were that came from and the Cardinal would know just who he was by the end of this fight. With the energy fully entwining his arms, he lifted one forward extending it fully and began to propel himself at the beam with his telekinesis, the whole sight rather interesting to see from the outside perspective he was sure. Crashing his fist into the beam, the power of his Sankanken allowing him to push through the beam, but he was still being damaged by the attack. Thankfully his own attack was dampening the power, it still hurt like a bitch though that was for sure. Forcing himself faster and faster, he eventually reached a quick flight speed, moving through the beam with his fist still extending and as he neared his opponent he let out a fearsome yell.
"Choo Choo, here comes the pain train!" that was all that was said as his fist closed in on his opponent, of course, if he dodged the first strike the second fist was ready with another attack to catch him off guard hopefully. He would just have to wait and see how he could catch his opponent with some attacks, and try to break him down. Sankanken 3

What Conri saw as blind faith was not the mindless following that he assumed. Sebastian had been born into the churches rule, raised on his doctrines and laws and trained by its soldiers. The Universal Church of One was the only life that the young human had ever known. To call his faith blind was something that was lost on the blonde male for he was following the only path he had ever known. The half-saiyan’s life was no doubt different from the Cardinals and perhaps even incomparable, but in the end they were not that different. Each followed their own convictions, fought for what they thought was right. To many the Church and their followers were monsters, but what of the millions that lived under the Churches rule? To these masses they were saviors, protectors and the righteous…would Conri and his friends slay them all for the life they had been born into?
The apes mocking words for Sebastian’s new level of power bothered the Cardinal little for their fight was again even. His jacket protected him from the prying eyes and scouters of all those around, but it did not dampen his power. Conri was right though, it was not a unique ability for it functioned of that Moon Ball technique that was of Saiyan creation, but it did function effectively. Such power was not easily accessed by them, but it was only truly needed when the Saiyan’s went into their bestial form. Power radiated from the Cardinal, insensible power, but power that his opponent could plainly see in the rolling blue aura that rolled out around him.
On came the blue Oozaru, as strange energy wrapped around his hands. At first Sebastian half expected him to try and sway his powerful beam of blue energy aside, but what the ape did instead was even more reckless. Charging ahead like a freight train Corni dove right into the blast with his energized fists and arms leading the way. Hanging back still, wanting to observe the asinine strategy the Cardinal was surprised as he starts to push his way into the attack. Blue Ki roared around the oncoming ball of blue fur as his massive fist parted it. Even from this distance Sebastian smelt the disgusting odder of burning hair as it quickly became obvious that Conri was not making his way through the attack damage free. Still though…he was making it through the attack.
Not liking his opponent, but never one to underestimate the resilience of any fight the Cardinal was ready to counter attack. Charging forward as well, still gripping his Ki enhanced blade in both hands, Sebastian became horizontal with the cavern floor. Blade leading the way he charged head on towards the outstretched fist of the Oozaru, looking to drive his blade right into the knuckles and hands of his opponent. Sure he might suffer some damage from the fist as it drove towards him or perhaps even from the other large fist, but Sebastian wondered how well the hand might function when it had a three foot puncture wound down the center of it, if he was lucky enough it might even take away the beasts use of that hand, either way, it was going to hurt.

When his Cardinal friend decided to play chicken, Conri had to chuckle to himself, apparently this Sebastian person didn't know a lot about speed and mass. The blade was horizontal and aimed at his hand, it seemed that Sebastian was trying to disable his hand or cause some serious damage to it with that blade. Granted if he kept his hand in a fist it likely could do a good amount of damage, so he supposed it was time to stop using his fist and use a palm strike instead. Sure the sword would stab into his palm and hurt like hell, but the size different and the positioning would prevent the hand from becoming useless. When the sword pierced his flesh, he sped up as much as possible to push Sebastian right back into the side of the cavern with much greater force than he had before. Pulling his hand back he immediately followed it up with a punch for the other hand to hopefully add more pain and damage to the human.
He could feel the trickle of blood from his hand and it was annoying, but it was hardly enough to stop him from using it, but perhaps his opponent didn't need to know that? An idea formed in the Saiyan's head and the hand with the wound went limp against his side, he pulled it up with his elbow to keep it from swaying. He snarled at the human to show his anger at his actions, and he created some distance between them to figure out what kind of attack to throw at this Cardinal next, he could use the masenko or possibly his razor edge. Glancing to the area around them, he wanted to make sure that there would be no backlash on the civilians with their fighting. If it came down to it, he would make Arpatiko an offer for later, he couldn't hold everything back if he wanted to make sure that he won this battle.
"So let me ask you something, you say Saiyans are a threat, blah blah blah. What about the races that aren't Saiyan, but are hybrids? What gives you the right to say that they can't exist? Answer me that, and before you spout off shit about it being your god's demands. Why don't you try thinking about it yourself? What is wrong with two people from different races falling in love and having kids, huh?" he actually wanted an answer on this one. Did this guy even know what all kinds of things the church did? They didn't just go after Saiyans or Half-Saiyans, it was any type of hybrid as well. Which was just the biggest load of bullshit he could imagine, they had no right to stop people from having kids.
"Think about it for yourself, without falling back onto your religion, can you actually think of a good reason? One that isn't just a load of bullshit?" was Sebastian actually full on indoctrinated, or could he possibly be talked down? Sure, he was pissed with the Church, but if he could simply take away members from it, that would be a bigger blow in the long run. Sankanken 2

Conri came right at him, his huge fist leading the way as Sebastian shot forward to meet it. Before the pair actually made contact though his fingers opened wide, revealing his tender palm to the Cardinal instead. Tich. Driving the blade into his open palm wasn’t going to cause as much damage as stabbing the blade down between his knuckles, but it was still worth it. Well aware of the difference in size Sebastian slams into the ape, his sword stabbing in the palm and ripping out the back of his foes hand. With Conri’s momentum greaten than his he soon found himself being pushed backwards. Not attempting to pull away the human instead surrounds himself with a Ki barrier, the energy barrier absorbing some of the blow as he is driven back into the wall. The follow up punch from the beast drove him back farther into the cavern wall, the stone splitting and cracking as he went.
Apparently confident with himself enough to break off his attack Sebastian hears the ape’s deep voice even with how deep he had been driven into the rock. Listening to the question the blonde male lets out a low sigh, his opponent not even fully understanding what he was talking about. The Universal Church of One was not against any hybrid race, only certain ones. Half-Saiyans were just one of the few that were on their list, and for good reason. Still in the rock, out of sight Sebastian provides the warrior with an answer so that he might better understand what he thought he knew so well.
”I have no problem with love, or the coupling of different races…that is natural. What we do not except is abominations like you, half human like myself and half Saiyan…the Saiyan race has run its course already. You should not exist for whichever of your parents that was a Saiyan should not exist. It seems even you, one who is so against us for “our ways,” isn’t even completely sure what it is we stand for. Beyond the fact the Saiyan race was brought back, you are a prime example of how ignorant your race is.”
Finally ripping free of the stone, Sebastian glares at the blue haired half-saiyan, eyes locking on him as rock tumbles away from the cavern wall behind him. Staying close to the wall the human doesn’t move, noting that the beast’s wounded hand hung down. A patient fighter Sebastian holds his position, quietly chanting under his breath as he does. If Conri hoped to convince this man not to fight there was only one way to do so…take his own life, the Cardinal had a mission and he would see it through…no matter the cost.

"Funny that you try to call me ignorant, yet you don't even realize the title of your own deity or what it means. Have you ever actually been sent out with any of the other Cardinals or Bishops? Here's a better question, do you know what purity means? If you do and you still think that your 'righteous' god wouldn't kill other half-breeds, you're far more delusional than I thought. By the way, I was planning on taking it easy on you until you made that stupid comment regarding why you feel you're justified in killing innocent people. To prove my point, you attacked me first, I didn't even make any movements to attack you but you feel justified in attacking me. Thanks to all that though, I know what I need to do as well," launching himself backwards he landed on the ground, he was going to need his full telekinetic abilities for this one. The first thing he did was send a soft burst of psychokinetic energy to find as much loose metals and stalagmites as well as stalactites to use for this next part. There was quite a bit for him to use, and there were other vehicles that he could use for what he wanted. When he had everything, he began to pull it all towards him from every direction, he even grabbed a hold of the skimmer that he and Arpatiko had been riding in dragging it towards him as well.
While he dragged the things to him, he broke them down into spear-like projectiles and began to spin them like drills before he launched them at Sebastian. Each one was aimed from a different angle to make dodging as difficult as possible, but that wasn't the end of things either, he was going to do everything in his power to make sure that Sebastian was not the one to win this battle. Gathering electricity to him, he began to draw as much in as possible, from every possible source because he was going to need all of it for the lightning bolt he was planning to unleash against this UCOO lapdog. He tried giving the guy a chance, but instead he got excuses for killing innocent people, and he knew that if this punk had the chance he would kill without hesitation. It wasn't a matter of revenge anymore, this was a group of nothing but fanatics bent on killing others. It had to be brought down to protect the rest of the universe, but unlike the Church Conri would not harm those that could not fight there was no point to doing that.
"You know that the biggest difference between me and you is, the fact that I can think for myself. I don't need someone or something else to tell me what is right or wrong. Killing people for existing, is wrong. So, I am going to stop your organization and make sure that no one else has to suffer from it and unlike your organization I don't need to resort to killing the defenseless to accomplish that," his words weren't angry, if anything they held pity for Sebastian that he couldn't see the fact that killing for the sake of existing was wrong, especially when children were involved. The electricity continued to grow in front of him, crackling dangerously as it grew more and more powerful, generating so much heat that the moisture in the air around him started to evaporate leaving trails of steam lifting around his hands. This wasn't just a little battle anymore, Conri needed to win here to make sure that the others were safe, including his friends back on New Vegeta.
He wasn't going to fail the ones that he cared about again, not this time; this time he had the power to make a difference and he was going to use it for all it was worth. For Ninjin, Master Masamune, Kuro, Frigid, Banduk, William, Zero...and especially Akassa, he would do whatever he could to make sure that she stayed safe. They were all people whose safety rode on him winning this battle, and he was not about to let them down now.

Maintaining his position near the wall Sebastian watched as Conri pulled in various rocks and metal, even one of the skimmers so that he could shape them all into projectiles. The half-saiyan’s psychokinetic powers were impressive, but they were probably amplified by the new form he had taken. Again the ape went on a rant, questioning Sebastian’s own faith and the very morals of his Church. The human cared little for his foes words as he knew what he believed, confident in the Universal Church of One and the beliefs he shared with his fellow cardinals. Those on the outside did not understand, did not hear the voice of Aon and what he demanded of them. Unknown by Sebastian, Ninjin had been spoken to by Aon when it seemed he was about to take his last breath, the instance a confirmation, at least by one Saiyan that Aon existed. Of course it might have been a hallucination, but of you asked any member of the Church to explain it they would have told you it was real.
Having a decent amount of distance between him and his opponent Sebastian had time to prepare for the numerous spear like scraps that were sent his way. The smaller ones he deflected with his blade, slapping them to the side or cleaving them in two with ease. More came though as the Cardinal found himself moving faster, twisting and jerking around in the air as the sharp pieces of stone and metal drove into the wall behind him. When the twisted piece of metal that had once been the skimmer finally came at him he was ready for it. Blade held out before him the human channeled energy into its fine edge, lifting it high and splitting the ship apart as it came within range. All the while he spoke to Conri, knowing it was useless to try and explain, but always one to share his beliefs with others.
”I have no problem thinking for myself Conri Lane, I chose to attack you did I not? Simply because I believe in and follow the order I am a part of does not make me a mindless fool like you think. I have personally never left my home planets as I am the one charged with their defense. You are the one that has come to my home and threatened my people. Even now your friends attack Arpatiko and only because he is bound to me, your groups of warriors are more similar to the other Cardinals and I than you think.”
Able to sense that the Oozaru was gathering energy Sebastian acts fast after the last of the projectiles was handled. Lifting his blade up, gripping it in both hands as the tip of the blade points towards the floor below Sebastian drops towards the ground. Driving his blade into the stone he unleashes the energy he had channeled into it to cut the skimmer in half. The blue Ki rips across the ground in Conri’s direction, sundering the earth as it travels. The Cardinal knew the Oozaru could not move with the amount of energy he was gathering so he would either have to weather his Burning Cross technique or abandon the charge and get out of the way. If the attack were to hit Ki would explode upwards in a plus sign shape, the path it had traveled making the fissure look like a giant cross as the energy bursts upwards.

Watching the swordsman make it out of the spears without taking an injury, he was a bit annoyed by that, but oh well that wasn't the main attack he was preparing anyways. However, when he began to speak is when Conri grinned the most, he had actually pegged this guy right, and without even trying. The best part was, was that he assumed what any of them were here for or what they were doing, which simply caused the Oozaru to let out a hearty laugh at his attempts. This guy was really stretching to try and paint them as the bad guys here, it would be far too fun to destroy his little delusions about him and his friends.
"Are you sure you can think for yourself? Cause so far, everything you have said has been pretty stupid, but somehow you don't see it. I mean, you haven't been off world, but you know for a fact that no other half breeds have been killed? Man, talk about stupid and not thinking. Of course, you'll probably say some crap that no one would lie to you and whatever other crap," he spoke, brushing the counter off. Mostly because he took a considerable lack of thinking to try and say that everyone told the truth, especially to someone that had been designated to be a guard without the need to leave. It was easy to fool someone like that.
"By the way, you got both little tidbits about me and my crew wrong, which is surprising cause I thought critical thinking would have led you to the obvious answer. Seriously, if I had come to threaten anyone, why would I come here? I didn't even know the Universal Church was out here, I came here because I was hired to find the previous crew sent out this way. Secondly, my people aren't attacking Arpatiko because he's connected to you, it's because you ordered him to get in the way if they tried to help me. So, really, it's your own fault Arpatiko is in battle now. Those people are my friends and comrades, do you honestly think they would stand by and let someone attempt to kill me?" he was seriously asking that now, wondering just what kind of thought process this guy could use to even try coming up with that kind of scenario. Especially since it was complete and utter bullshit, if Arpatiko hadn't been ordered to interfere then the others wouldn't be fighting against him. It was as simple as that.
Still, he figured that the Cardinal would try to turn it around on them once more, that was what they seemed to specialize in was trying to push the blame. When he saw Sebastian lifting his sword and then piercing it into the ground, trying to attack him while he was charging. Unfortunately for his opponent, he was only going to be charging a little bit, and with that thought he fired the more powerful bolt of lightning right at the Cardinal as his sword pierced the ground and sent Ki towards him. Hoping that his attack would strike the swordsman full on, as the ki cross erupted from the ground and blasting him with his own attack. Conri took the full force of the blast as it flung him through the air, burns coming off his body as he landed, groaning slightly from the force of the hit. It wasn't enough to keep him down, but it did pack quite a punch.
Pushing himself off the ground, he stood facing the Cardinal and ready to go a few more rounds with the bastard, he would have to try a lot harder than that if he wanted Conri dead.

”No, I do not know if any other half breeds have been killed, I am not all knowing. Can I not say the same for you? You label our Church as murderous bastards, yet do you know of all the lives that we have saved all those we have helped? You keep accusing me of not knowing the truth behind what I speak, yet your views are quite clouded as well. As for your friends, I only asked Arpatiko to prevent them from interfering for their own safety. If they were to get in the way of our fight I would be quite saddened if injury were to befall them.” Sebastian then drove his sword into the ground, the blue energy bursting forth as it ripped across the ground towards his foe. With enough fighting experience to know what would happen if he attempted to maintain his charge the Oozaru let the lightning loose, the blast arching across the cavern towards the Cardinal. The ape knew how to fight, but he seemed to forget some simple rules of nature. Lightning, natural or generated by a fighter, had its own rules and laws that it followed and once it was out of Conri’s control it would take a more natural course if presented one. Well aware of this Sebastian leaves his metal sword in the ground, launching himself backwards and away from it as the lightning approaches. His metal weapon, a natural conductor, was the quickest past for the bolt to ground itself, the attack attracted to the metal hilt that still stuck up into the air.
Having saved himself from the initial power of the blast it did not come at a cost. As the power of Conri’s charged attack struck the blade, channeled into the ground, the rock exploded with the force behind it. Only having been able to jump back so far in such a short time the force of the blast sends Sebastian tumbling through the air. His blade flew off in another direction as the blonde tumbled and bounced across the stone, leaving him weaponless for the time being. Getting his feet under him, hands pressed to the ground he slid a bit more before bringing himself to a stop, glaring up at slightly smoking Oozaru that had just risen from the ground after Sebastian’s own attack had hit home.
”The power we both possess is the only similarity between us Conri Lane, fate had decided that we stand opposite each other as we do now, both of us knowing our beliefs to be true.” Sebastian was a devout follower of the Universal Church of One, but he was not blind to other view points in the Universe. He understood that not all saw his ways as the right way and that some would just never understand like he would never understand their perspective. In his heart of hearts Sebastian knew he was right, but it was hard to convey such deep feelings through words. No matter how long the two talked or debated, neither would fully understand the other, such was the way of individualism.
Back to his feet, white coat covered in dirt and dust he attempts to brush it off once, the swipe of his hands along it doing little more than smearing the dirt along it. With a shrug he burst forth towards Conri, actually closing the distance between the two regardless of the fact he no longer wielded his blade. As he drew close he seems to disappear for a moment as he utilizes his Zenzoken, appearing right along the ape’s large head as his right foot swings in for the beast’s snout. It was true Conri was large in this form and naturally tougher, but Sebastian was a bit faster, the amount of mass he had to move with each movement less. Each of them had a slight advantage against the other in those aspects, but ultimately the fight was even, a test to see which one could back up their confident words with action.
