It wasn't long ago now that Zeke's pod came crashing through the atmosphere of Namek. It had been quite a sight to see it from space... it appeared to look much like the earth, only having three suns instead of just one. Once Zeke came down aiming for a green patch, he quickly had to redirect himself back upward. Water!? The water here was green in color. Zeke was confused and amazed at the same time, blasting just over top of the body of water and coming up on what looked like land. On the map, this had been the largest body of water he had seen, only now he knew that it was the other way around.
Made sense, he figured in the end. The two main capitals, Guru and Piccolo City's were listed as on the water before. But it was land. He remembered Nahlin telling him to find him if he ever came here, so that's what he would do. Gaining altitude as he closed in on the land, he closed his eyes and searched for Nahlin's energy. It took a few moments but he located it and blasted off through the sky again.
Nahlin was currently on his way towards Picolo Village, He wore his usual white training Gi with the black sash around it, carrying a pack over his shoulder filled with a couple gourds of water and his training weights. He waved to his family and Elder Metra, whom he had returned the 'Artifact' Zeke helped him recover to, back in his home Yemall Village. He smiled and took a running start before he blasted off. Flying along, he was exited to continue his Warrior training. He could see Guru Village in the distance, witch he was going to have to fly over to get to Piccolo City. He was about two miles out from Guru before he was struck with a blast. It took him by surprise and he plummeted down into the ground below.
Coming to, he was locked in a cage. He looked around in a panic and seen two other Namekians and a young child were with him. He got angry now and jumped up, throwing a punch at the bars. It did nothing. That's when he felt the ring around his neck, choking him out.
"What is this!? A suppressor ring! This is similar one of Elder Batto's special techniques... that means..."
He looked up to see one more Namekian looking over at him with a smile. "Why hello, Nahlin. Still trying to travel two roads, I see." The Namekian said to him. He came forward, wearing a white healers robe with a golden sash and a white cape with gold trim to mach. A strange crest had been applied to his Gi. "How long did you think you could be both Healer and Warrior? Who do you think you are? I'll tell you." He smiled a twisted grin. "You are impure. Like these others, the church will do away with you and keep this planet clean."
Nahlin was confused. Church? This Namekian knew Nahlin... he must have once been a student of Batto's if he knew the Energy Ring technique, especially if he had altered it to sap the power out of people but still allow them to move. He's using it to capture Namekians and 'deal' with them for something called the Church then? Nahlin cursed in Namekian.
"You let us free now!" He demanded. The Namekian laughed. "No, sorry. There is nothing of this world that is going to free you now-"
Just then there was a huge collision behind the white robed Namekian. He spun around and seen a space pod. Nahlin's expression changed as he smiled. He knew who it was. "Say hello to my little friend. And guess what?" Nahlin asked. He grinned. "He is not of this world at all!
The pod opened and steam barreled out as Zeke climbed out and floated up out of the small crater he made. Standing at over 7 feet tall, he was around the same height as a Namekian warrior would be, but still towered over most Namekians. The spiky hair and the tread on his boot along with the menacing all black attire Zeke wore added to the look of his size. Black also was not a common color here on Namek, as it was always light out and also quite hot. Black heated up faster than other colors. It was not practical at all, but this was Zeke after all.
Zeke landed, shifting his sword from his back to his right hip. He recognized the crest and color pattern the Namekian wore, who just looked at Zeke and said ". . . Little?"
Zeke glared. "There is nothing little about me, Namekian. I know that crest all to well, and I see you have an acquaintance of mine trapped in that cage along with others." He put one hand on his sword and stood to the side, narrowing his gaze further. "Surrender them... or die."
The Church Namekian almost went white. "Alright, fine. I'll let them out then." he said, pulling the lock off of the cage, unlocking it with some kind of Magic. Nahlin jumped out and helped the others as well. Zeke kept his eyes on the Church Namekian. This was strange... too easy. Then he realized... the others were standing too close to him! Just as Zeke feared, the Treacherous Namekian wasn't long grabbing the child and creating a Ki Blade. He hauled the kid up and put it to his throat.
"Now I'm going to leave! You know the drill, follow and the kid die-"
There was a flash of light, and next thing they all knew, Zeke was behind the Namekian and violet blood ran down his blade. The Namekian stood for a moment before his arm tore open from the delayed effect of the slash and sprayed blood everywhere as the arm fell off. The man fell as Zeke flicked the blood off the blade and sheathed it.
"Zanoslash." he said, clicking the blade in. He walked over to the man. He wasn't dead yet. Then he looked at Nahlin who was looking pale himself. Zeke was about to ask what happened when he seen the boy... he had a huge gash across his chest.
Zeke's eyes shot open. "N-no... I didn't..." He started. He had struck the child!? Nahlin shook his head. "No, he did it! The blade cut him when you severed his arm... He isn't regenerating!" he yelled.
Zeke stumbled back and put a hand to his forehead. "Still, if I hadn't cut his arm off it wouldn't of happened." he said. Nahlin tried to tear the Suppressor Ring off the boy, but it wouldn't move. "It's not a normal Energy Ring, I cant rip it off!"
Zeke looked up. "Is he going to die?" he asked.
Nahlin shoo his head. "Relax. It's not good, but he isn't going to die. He is in alot of pain though. I'll take him to Batto, our Healing Clan Elder. He can remove this Ring easy and heal the boy with no problem."
Zeke relaxed a little. The other two captives had grabbed the Traitor and one used a different Ring to lock his arms around his body. Zeke wanted to end that man right there... he would if he stayed here too long. "Tell me where to find Batto. I'm responsible for this, so I will take the boy and face the consequences." Zeke insisted, Telekineticly lifting the boy into his arms. Zeke cursed his luck, Jaxine ate his damn Senzu Beans before he left thinking they were jelly beans.
"Alright then." Nahlin said. "We'll be taking this fool to Grand Elder Pitka, our Guru, or Leader. We will find out why he was kidnapping us and if he was responsible for the recent disappearances that have occurred. Hell, maybe he will even give me the 'Legendary Training' for this, right guys?" He said, getting a laugh out of all three. It was apparently a joke. "What Legendary Training?" Zeke asked Nahlin as they blasted off towards the city flying side by side. Nahlin laughed again. "An old legend! They say that anyone who Guru Pitka sees as worthy will receive special training that is so intense, your power goes incredibly high in seconds! Nice story, but it's impossible, obviously." He said with doubt. Made sense why they all joked about it.
Zeke looked ahead. "I'll have to go see Pitka then. After all... Impossible does not exist." he said. Those words... were the only words he can remember his mother ever saying to him. Impossible does not exist. All things are permitted in some way, shape or form. Zeke never forgot that.
He went into Overdrive, leaving a trail of black through the sky as a winged Dark Angel flew over the City. People looked up at the object, pointing. They watched it until the location Nahlin gave him Telepathically came into view. He came down and stopped an inch fro the ground at such speed that it still blew the dust off the road before he touched down.
"This child is hurt! I need to find the one called Batto, or anyone who can heal!" he said urgently. Nobody moved, they all looked terrified. Zeke was confused at first until he realized... Jet black hair and clothes, bright white glowing eyes with a black outline, black smoky aura, and two giant black wings did not exactly spell out 'friendly guest'. He swore under his breath, witch he usually never did, and powered down to his more approachable appearance and even denigrated his coat to look a little more normal with just jeans, boots and his zip-up shirt on. Good thing it was sleeveless, it was hot here.

Batto sat within his home, legs crossed as he relaxed on one of the pillows that lined his floor. Enjoying his peace the Clan leader was deep in mediation when he first sensed it. The feel of Namek was almost always a calm one, the Namekian able to spread his sense around the planet and feel what it felt. His people, even those that followed the ways of the great warrior Piccolo were peaceful compared to most. Sure the later chose to strengthen their bodies and participate in more combat, but they were not openly violent. Deep in his trance the healer sensed something was wrong out amongst the plains…negative energy flooding into his heart. Although he could sense the unease he was not omniscient, he did not know all and could not know all through the simple action of meditation. Yet…something was wrong, Batto sensed it.
Slowly opening his eyes, planning on heading out himself to investigate is when the Namekian hears the small cries of alarm coming from the edge of the village, his sensitive ears able to pick them up. Rising silently to his feet he exits his domed home, slowly making his way towards the eastern side of the village. As he drew near two small Namekian’s ran past him, the young pair stopping as he motions for them.
”Is everything alright, why are you running?” As always his tone was calm and gentle, the two younglings seeming to calm as he spoke. Looking to each other they then pointed off in the direction they had just come from, the older of the two speaking up.
“There is a strange man over there…dressed in black and he has one of our brothers with him…he looks hurt.” The boys seemed genuinely worried, the silent one nodding as his companion talks. Glancing in that direction Batto starts to walk again, the two quickly falling in line behind him. Weaving his way through the village the clan leader was curious as to what this was all about, his senses reaching out to zero in on the signature that was foreign to him. An impressive signature to be quite honest, but not anything that Batto couldn’t handle if something was to go wrong. He hoped there was not going to be any violence.
Finally making it to the center of all the commotion he gently pushes his way past the assembled crowd to face this new comer. The young Namekian had been right, this black man had a wounded Namekian with him…deep gashes across his chest, a sword in the strangers possession. Unsure of what exactly had gone down Batto was no so quick to judge as the others. If this man had wounded the Namekian with him, then why had he not attacked any others yet? Perhaps there was more to this story.
”What is going on here? Explain yourself.” Even though his voice carried a tone of authority it was a gently one, not exactly demanding an answer, but wanting one none the less.

It was not long before a man came forward among the people. Zeke did not yet know who he was, but he had simply asked Zeke for answers. Zeke beckoned a worried looking Namekian near him to come closer, holding the child out. The Namekian hesitated for a moment but found the courage to approach and take the child. Zeke meant no harm upon his visit and he wanted to show this.
"I'm sorry. The boy was caught in the middle of a battle. I was seeking out a friend when I discovered he, that child, and a couple others had been captured by yet another Namekian. I can't say for sure what his plans were, but they were most definitely sinister enough for him to use the child as a hostage in an attempt to escape." he explained.
Zeke looked around. Some faces were frightened, others were ready for a fight. There were some who were simply there to watch and didn't seem to have any problem with Zeke being there. "This traitor would have taken the boy if I did not act, but I was... careless. Though I was not the one who harmed the boy, I still hold myself accountable. I am sorry for this." He said, talking about the situation.
Zeke was trying to do as Kosho Masamune had taught him. Fight to preserve life, not to end it. Zeke had tried his best and nobody had died here... yet. It was difficult for a trained assassin to transition into the kind of paladin Kosho expected every swordsman to become. "The Namekian I was seeking, a man named Nahlin, has taken the traitor to your leader to be dealt with. I was worried about the child and have a higher flight speed, witch is why I chose to bring the boy instead of him."
Zeke was ready to deal with whatever was thrown his way now. He also wondered what happened to the other two Namekians who he had freed. Zeke also hoped to go find this leader of theirs and find out any information he had on this new prisoner so he could report it back to Vegeta. That assassin on the loose was Namekian, and gathering that info was on his to-do list.

Batto stood calmly as the strange man explained himself and the situation he was currently in. The Namekian that summoned the courage to step forward was one of the stronger in the village, even if his power didn’t rival the man dressed in black. The clan leader knew him, just like all the others that called the village home alongside him, Set-tan. Once the warrior had taken his wounded brother from the stranger Batto motioned for him to bring him closer. Looking at the new comer for a moment he then turns his attention to the unfortunate Namekian as Set-tan places him on the ground before him. The cuts were deep, and although the race could regenerate the youngling seemed to be in some form of shock, not able to accelerate his regeneration.
”Carless indeed. For someone that wields such a long blade I would suggest you learn to use it properly, such a weapon can be dangerous to those that are not your target if you are not careful.” Initially the words might sound a bit harsh, but the level tone in which they were delivered would most likely take off most of the edge. Batto was a practical individual and in his mind if someone could not use a weapon properly than they should probably not yield it at all. Having meant no insult the healer leaves it at that for now, dropping to a knee as he inspects the wounds on his brother in more detail. The youngling was definitely in trouble…if he had not been brought to the skilled Master his fate might have been dark indeed.
Remaining down on one knee Batto extends his arms, sleeves loosely swaying in the slight wind as he holds them above the Namekian’s chest. A soft glow soon begins to emanate from his steady hands, the energy radiated from them soaking into the boy’s chest below. In silence the Healing Master let his Ki flow naturally, knowing that the healing technique could not be forced like when throwing a Ki blast. Days before Banduk had paid him visit before heading out again and even the future Guru had struggled with this concept. It may seem simple, but when a fighter was use to throwing Ki out of their body to form attacks, the idea of letting it flow was much more complicated than it might seem. Focusing on healing, as it did require focus, Batto doesn’t even look up at the stranger.

Wield it properly? Zeke did feel somewhat insulted, especially after he clarified that it was not his own means that harmed the boy. But he let it go, as the man was more giving him advice as to improve his skill. But Zeke was already plenty skilled with the sword... almost a master level swordsman. However, that was just in the lethal department. His skill using the blade in a spar, a friendly battle, or on someone he had no intention on killing or harming majorly was still in progress. His training with Kosho had only thought him so much so far though.
"I will have to keep that in mind." Zeke simply said, letting it go.
He watched the man drop to a knee and noted the steady hands as he let his Ki slowly glow from them. Zeke was amazed with this... to be able to control his energy so well must have been quite a difficult feat to achieve. Where a warrior focused on fighting and exercise, this man must have done alot of mental and spiritual training to achieve this. Zeke wasn't sure if he was up to this or not... Zeke's entire life was about training as a fighter and focusing on violence.
His Matter Manipulation wasn't even a full technique due to this. He remembered how his Mother had used it. Slow and precise. She could make anything as an exact replica, down to the finest and most complex detail. Zeke however was forced to weaponize his version into crude and quick objects such as spikes, spears, chains and even smoke. However, seeing this gave Zeke hope that he may one day be able to better his technique without her help.
"So, the Healing technique does exist." Zeke said in amazement. He would then give the man quiet until he finished with the process. Kosho wasn't just a crazy Hermit after all. Strange, Zeke wondered how he even knew about it to begin with. And now with the situation at hand, would Master Batto even take Zeke as a student? Zeke didn't know the man in front of him was the master quite yet, but he had his assumptions. Things didn't look good to Zeke right now.
If Batto did decide to take Zeke as a student sometime, Batto would see soon enough that Zeke was a quick learner, once he received a proper grasp of the concept at hand.
((Quick Learner racial trait, though not as potent as a human's.))

Batto heard the strange man’s words, but said nothing as he focused on healing his wounded brother before him. Energy continued to naturally flow from his practiced hands, radiating into the body below them. Even at a master at his level Batto felt the techniques draining effect, the amount of a toll that it took on his own body. No matter how well one mastered their ability to heal another it always wore them down. Unlike a Ki blast the energy used to rejuvenate a fall ally was from deep within, bordering on using one’s own life force. Still not responding to Zeke’s words the clan leader watches in silence as the gashes across the younger Namekian’s chest start to knit themselves back together, the muscle and skin fusing as if it had never been parted. At his level Batto was able to heal such wounds fully and even remove any traces of a scar, so when he was finally done with the Namekian it looked as if the wound had never taken place.
Lowering his hands the healer takes one last look over the boy as he starts to come around. Rising to his feet as his eyes remain on the one he had just healed Batto’s face was as neutral as ever, but behind those eyes he was curious. The stranger’s tail didn’t sound impossible, but he also knew better not take everything as it looked. It was easy to weave a tale or alter the facts of an event to make it lean in your favor; Batto did not plan to make his decision about the man until he heard the story straight from the young ones mouth.
With the Namekian finally start to come all the way around, eyes regaining focus as his once labored breathing was back to normal Batto reaches a hand down to offer him assistance to his feet. Although he had just used a fair amount of his energy to heal the boy he was quite strong, easily pulling the other to the feet as he met his eye.
”Tell me young one, what happened when you met this man?” Batto motions to the tall man glad in black still standing at the center of the Namekian semi-circle. He had heard his story about him accidentally cutting the young Namekian, but the clan leader wished to hear his side without any interference or knowledge as to what had previously been said.

Zeke smiled when the child stood up, completely reguvinated. It was as if there never was a wound in the first place. The Namekian wasn't so sure of Zeke's story, and Zeke didn't blame him. In his shoes he too would be questioning things. The Namekian boy began to speak in Namekian, Zeke assumed anyway from the odd sounds he used instead of English. From the look on the boys face and the way he pointed at Zeke, he figured he was telling the whole story.
Zeke couldn't fully understand the boy though, he was hoping he did not go exaggerating it and making Zeke look like a psycho. Then another Namekian shoved into the area, dawning a training Gi instead of the robes the others wore. His power level was higher than most of the others, excluding the healer himself. He agressively ppointed at Zeke as he too shouted in Namekian. Zeke was confused... then he focused his mind into the Namekians. He could not understand his words, but he could tell exactly what he was saying from his thoughts.
"...trust anyone who walks in here like this? So he saved a child. That doesn't make him a saint, he could be here to destroy us when you least expect it! Do you feel his power? And just look at him!" he argued. Some of the others began to murmur and question as well. Zeke also noted the different looking insignia on the aggressive man's Gi in comparison to the others. Zeke had heard Namek was split into two halves; the 'New Age' or 'Warrior' half and the 'Traditional' half, so to speak.
Zeke did not take kindly to the man's words, or thoughts, specifically. "You're free to your own opinions. But if you want to talk about me, the least you could do is speak my language so I can hear it myself." he said.
He turned back to the Healer. "I mean no harm to your people. I have simply come to learn your ways of healing magic if it were possible. I am from the Earth's moon, home of the Saiyan race. We recently came under attack and our king was poisoned. I believe this power may come in handy in helping him recover, along with aiding our people in the future. Also, I am no stranger to magic." he stated.
Before the healer could respond though, the Warrior turned to Zeke with a clenched fist. "You need power!? Then you are in the wrong place, Saiyan. Your king will recover on his own if he is strong. If you wanted to get stronger, you would have come to train under my master!" he said. Looked more to Zeke like the man just wanted kick his ass.
Zeke shook his head. "there will be plenty of time for that later on. I already made up my mind. I would like to become a student of the Namekian Healing School." he stated.

With the young Namekian now fine, Batto listens to his Gi wearing brother. Despite the passion in his words and gestures the ever patient Master listens with a calm expression plastered on his face. His suspicions weren’t unjustified, yet at the same time there were always two sides to every situation, at least two sides. Calmly eyeing the Namekian, Batto understood the mentality that one from the Warrior Clan would typically have. Although a believer of the old ways himself, the healer was not blind to the opinions of others or their concerns. Lifting a hand he motions for the other to settle down, that he would handle this situation appropriately no matter which way it went. This newcomer was powerful, but nothing the healer could not handle.
It was then that the alien spoke, trying to explain why he had come across this whole scene in the first place, why he had come to Namek. Well educated about the rest of the known Universe Batto was well aware of the resurrected Saiyan race and their new home on the Moon that orbited planet Earth. However, he had heard nothing of this attack that the Saiyan mentioned. The King himself had been targeted and poisoned? That was quite an impressive feat if it was true; Batto knew that the Saiyan King was quite the powerful warrior, on par with the strongest fighter that Namek possessed. Before he could respond himself his frustrated brother spoke out again, once more reminding Batto of the differences between the respective clans. To those that followed the ways of the great warrior Piccolo, everything needed to be earned through strength.
”So, you come here looking for a way to help your King and your people? I can understand that desire, but at the same time I have to ask, do you not have any of your own medical treatments on New Vegeta?” As always it was no attempt to be rude or necessarily doubt the man’s words, the master just wanted to learn more about the situation. Calm eyes on the stranger Batto decides to entertain his curiosity a bit more.
”Also, may I ask who it was that attacked you and your people? I do not mean to pry, but if someone was bold enough to attack the Saiyan people at their home it might be reason for my people to more closely monitor who visits our planet.” The statement didn’t necessarily include Zeke in with those they might watch out for, yet it was also not excluding him.

Feeling ignored, the warrior Namekian simply uttered that Zeke was wasting his time and left, the others parting the way as he left. Zeke thought about later looking into the warrior clan, but it may not even be necessary. It seemed as well that the man before him had further questions to ask, witch was perfectly fine to Zeke.
"We do of course have our own treatments such as healing tanks, witch function similar to your magic only much slower. However, many of our people are too stubborn to use them unless they are near death. As far as something that can be used in the field, there is nothing practical." Zeke explained. "As far as the King, the poison was administered by an Assassin, and the actual properties of it could vary quite substantially. It could be made specifically for Saiyans or possibly even for him specifically. It may even develop into something contagious."
Zeke crossed his arms. "They will need to study it and create an antidote, along with a possible vaccine. This will take time and the king may not have it. His death could effectively demoralize our people and leave an opening for another attack. Not to mention I am not entirely sure the eldest Prince Ninjin is yet ready to lead our people. He seems too quick to follow his parents ways and not think for himself like a true King. He is all for the Genocide that they are planning for revenge."
The people around them began to understand the situation. Genocide? Zeke hadn't even mentioned that the actual plan was to obliterate the entire planet itself.
"The group are called the Universal Church Of One, a type of cult who are convinced the Saiyan race are an impure stain on existence as they are somehow not naturally existing in this universe. They will also target any other form of artificial life, with acceptation of Androids who already are not alive to begin with. I believe the man responsible for kidnapping the boy and the others earlier was a part of the UCOO. There is also an Assassin loose on the moon as of yet who is also Namekian. This simply means they have extended their reach towards your people. They could one day try to rope you all into their ways."
That was all of it. Zeke gave the man all the information he had at this time. He wanted them to trust him, so he gave in all the information.

The young Namekian was not a patient one, Batto’s eyes following him as he moves away through the crowd of people. The healer took note to seek the young one out later, there was anger in that one and although followed the new ways Batto felt the need to speak with him further. Confident that the old ways were correct, he also understood that there were Namekians that believed in the new ways to varying degrees. Some only wished to train and become stronger, not really seeking violence, but strength. Then there were those that had started out like that young one, full of anger and distrust for anyone that was not of their own kind. It was a close minded view and one that would inevitably lead to violence. A pacifist unless all else failed, Batto would try his best to keep the peace.
For being a stranger to the planet he was quite forthcoming with his reasons for traveling there, Batto appreciated honesty. So the Saiyan home world had been attacked by the Universal Church of One and their King poisoned. Again, the clan leader was a knowledgeable individual, he knew of the Church and its various doctrines. It was unlike them to launch such a large scale attack, at least from what he had heard of their other operations in the galaxy. The Namekians had never had much of an issue with them, the Namekian race don’t breaking any of their clouded rules. That of course did not mean that they agreed with what the Church stood for, not even the brasher Warrior clan thought highly of the religious fanatics. Yet, they did not interfere; it was not their place to fight back against those they didn’t agree with. More violence rarely solved anything.
”So you come to find an alternative for this poison, should it prove more vicious than what your science can handle. Commendable, but wouldn’t your time be better served stopping this genocide that you speak of, even a Kings life pales in comparison to the millions that may exist on this planet that is to be destroyed. Still…I might be willing to help you, but first there is more to discuss. Come with me…” Batto pauses as he realizes he hasn’t even asked the man’s name yet. ”May I ask your name visitor? Mine is Batto.”

It was unfortunate, Zeke did believe violence could solve an issue. From what he had learned from his sword master, Zeke knew it had to be done in defense of the good and the innocent though. Going on the offensive to seek revenge was not going to help at all. But bringing down an enemy like the church could save countless lives. It could not be done right by obliterating them all though.
Just the head of the beast need be cut, as the body shall still provide use. To burn the whole beast to nothing would be senseless.
The man understood the situation, but mistook his words slightly, asking why he had chose to put the king before the people.
"My name is Ezekiel NeCross, most call me Zeke. I chose to come here and learn the ways of healing as there is still time before this attack. We must first locate their planet... If there were some way as to locate it myself and go ahead, I would." He explained. He followed behind the man, who introduced himself as Batto. Good, he was the Healing Clans master after all. Zeke should have introduced himself earlier, he figured.
He would take in the surrounding village as the people dispersed. All of them were green creatures with no body hair, two antennae out of their foreheads, and pointed ears. They lived in shell-like houses with some spikes on them and had round purple windows. Most were like this, anyway. Zeke wondered what kind of creature those shells came from. Maybe they were stone.

Zeke’s sword master back on New Vegeta would probably have gotten along just fine with Batto if the two were to ever meet. Violence was almost never the correct answer, and if this young man saw it that way as well then there might yet be hope for him. Moving and starting to walk the Namekian master listens as the stranger finally introduces himself, usually something that you did when you first arrived, but there had been another pressing matter to attend to first.
Batto was an excellent listener, always had been, even at a young age he had been a quiet one that made sure to take in more than he blurted out. He had been born this way, a naturally following of the old ways and close friend of the Guru. Learning the Saiyan’s name was Ezekiel NeCross the healer was finally glad to have a name to go with the new face.
”So I see, the Saiyans are still waiting for their chance to launch a counter attack…no doubt planning on this act of genocide you mentioned to erase their foes from the Universe. You on the other hand have come to my home to learn to save. Tell me Zeke, if a Saiyan is in position to obliterate an entire planet will you stand before them or will you allow the destruction to pass?”
There were multiple answers to the question, any of which that Batto could have hinted at, but the Master wanted to see how the man would answer on his own. Zeke seemed to be a powerful warrior, at least based on the strength of his power level, but the best of warriors were reserved when it came to the use of their strength. With great power came great responsibility.

Master Batto was going to ask Zeke a good many questions, likely to test both his worthiness and intent of the use of their magic. Zeke figured it was not often they would simply trust an outsider with such magic, especially a member of a race who's entire history was surrounded with vengeance and dominance. Zeke however, as murmured among many, was far from a normal Saiyan. In many ways.
"I will not allow it, if I have anything to say about it. To sit idle would be nothing short of madness, but to stand against them directly would be suicide. I will resort to this if need be, however. My plan is actually to appeal to the people of this planet, through the means they hold so dear... their God."
Zeke thought to himself about how exactly to word these things. "I myself believe there is something that set everything in motion. I however don't think it expects us to rely on it's power in any way, we are to be independent. However, people have abused the idea of God for thousands of years. Those people need to be reminded that this God, Aon they call it, will obviously care for all its creations."
Zeke had questioned this God many times before. He had actually hated it for a long time. "According to the Church of One, the Saiyan race had been obliterated at one point. But they came back somehow. If their God truly didn't wish for our revival, would it not of ever happened? Would he himself not have seen to our demise? Further more, if the Church was in the right, their attack would have been an inevitable success. Yet it failed. You see, he doesn't want us wiped out. I also believe he doesn't wish for the Saiyan's to take vengeance on all of them, just on the leaders for using him as a tool of death and hatred."
Its the only logical theory in Zeke's mind. Zeke wasn't going to go calling himself an agent of God or anything, he figured that if he hadn't been walking this path, someone else would. But was Zeke strong enough to turn a whole civilization to his way and cast out their leaders? If so, the Saiyans could not see them changing their ways and still proceed to kill them all, keeping the title of 'being right' for what they do. If they did continue, Zeke would need to fight them himself. All of them. Some may see things his way... he hoped. Zeke thought of Akassa. She was hopefully going to see things his way. Ninjin however may also be swayed by the people's change and hopefully see the potential in the planet he had spoke of at the Counsel.
Best case scenario, the people see the light and the Saiyans take them in, erasing the Church's leaders and making the planet a home for all of them. Worst case scenario... Zeke will die fighting along with hundreds of thousands. But at least he would go down finally knowing he fought for the right reason. He could gladly embrace death on those terms.

Casually walking with the Saiyan, Batto remains silent as he again listens to what the man has to say. Being part of the Namekian race the healer had a longer life than most creatures and even so he could spend his entire time in this Universe listening. He felt it was something that far too many did too little. Throughout history, across the various races and planets that existed there were countless occasions where a thoughtful ear could have prevented something horrible from happening, when individuals could have just tried to listen and the loss of life could have been prevented. It was a shame really, how simply some solutions could be yet the easy path was never seen, the eyes often blinded by rage or other consuming emotions. Saiyans as a race were among some of the worse transgressors in this sense, the naturally violent warrior race having done its part in many conflicts. From what he knew of their first time in the Universe they had gotten better this second go around, but they were far from peaceful.
As the new comer continued Batto found his sentiments and words quite different than what he might expect. Of course he expected violence to be part of the plan when it came to a Saiyan, but in Zeke’s case it was his fall back if all else should fail. A peaceful man himself the Master knew that fighting was not always avoidable, although it was slightly refreshing to hear a Saiyan stating he wanted to talk first and foremost. The man in black was deeper than even most Namekian warriors, his thoughts on “God” causing Batto’s brow to rise slightly. The concept of a greater being was not something new to him, but it was not something he was well practiced in either. As far as he could tell from his studies was that this concept of a singular God was not the most practical stand point. With the Universe being endless, and by extension its inhabitants endless, that also meant there was the potential for multiple omnipotent beings. Regardless of his own thoughts this meeting was not about view points on creation, but on the prevention of destruction.
”I commend you for trying to take what many might call the higher road in this scenario Zeke, even if you are unsure how practical it may be. Like you I am a warrior, albeit a peaceful one, but I understand that pacifism is not always the solution. On several occasions I have had to take action to defend those that are threatened by evil. I wish you the best on this endeavor for standing between two opposing forces is never an easy task.
Pausing for a moment the Namekian healer turns to regard the Saiyan, looking him up and down as they stand upon the blue grass. There was more to this man then met the eye, the tone in his voice and the passionate words he chose to describe what he must do. Lifting his eyes to meet that of Zeke’s the master asks a question he had asked many before him. It was simple in wording, but to find an answer for it was far from easy.
”Tell me Ezekiel NeCross, who are you in all of this?” Batto did not mean who was he by name, but as an individual. He was a Saiyan that planned to stand between the Saiyan’s and a group that had attacked them, and hoping for peace. Yet, he was quite obviously a warrior and all warriors that strove to prevent fighting had a past. Batto wished to know the heart of this warrior that stood before him.

One god or many, it did not matter really. In the end, all things needed something to believe in. Unfortunately, some chose the wrong place to put their faith. Zeke was putting his in the Namekean people as of now, hoping that their abilities will help him and his people. With the king poisoned, a dark shadow was cast over the moon. rage, sadness and anger. Could Tsuyo's recovery help change the fate of the innocents who had been selected for genocide?
Zeke was glad to hear that Master Batto was in approval of Zeke's motives, surprised to hear that he too was a warrior. Zeke was glad to hear this, as he now knew Batto had an idea what Zeke was going through. He also now knew Batto would be able to handle himself in a fight if something went down after the capture of that Traitor from the Church of One.
Then he received a strange question. Batto asked who Zeke was in this whole situation. Zeke didn't answer at first. He looked at the floor as he thought, as he wasn't exactly sure. "That's an interesting question. I'm not Royalty or a noble, nor am I even part of their military ranks. Now that I think of it, I'm not even a legal citizen of Vegeta yet..." He looked back up over at Batto. "I'm just a man, Batto. A man trying to do whats right."
